Gower Bird Hospital do amazing work in caring for wildlife, but they rely on public support in the form of donations. It doesn't matter whether it is a common garden Pigeon, or a rare wildlife creature, they provide amazine care. If you find what you think is an injured bird or other form of wildlife, it can be taken to St. James Vets, 68 Walter Road, Uplands, where GBH will collect it from.

Really helpful and friendly staff. They were so genuinely kind and gentle with the injured bird we brought in, and took the time to give advice on bird transportation if I came across any injured birds in the future. They are now on the top of my charity donation list.

We found a baby headgehog on the drive, breathing, just. Gave him some water, gently placed him on a towel in a box. Delivered to the Gower Bird Hospital, who look after small mammals too. Very friendly and informative reception from the owner. Fingers crossed he survives.

Brilliant organisation helping injured birds and small mammals. You can't look round as this would stress the patients, but very worthy of a donation if you care about wildlife. And of course any injured birds or hedgehogs can be taken there.

Very rough narrow track from main road so take your time or your car could be damaged! I parked up then discovered I had to go through a narrow lane to the sanctuary, probably my fault as there is plenty of signage lol!
