D. H.I have never had a problem with surgery and think the doctors are amazing. However after phoning up today as advised by a dentist I find it shocking that the receptionist I spoke to didn’t see finding a lump was an emergency appointment until I had to point it out . Nevertheless the doctor saw me straight away and that I am thankful she was amazing. Find it shocking that after ringing up I had to explain that I thought my call was a matter of urgency and was told I should have stated that !!!! I would have thought saying I had found a lump would be urgent. Her tone was incredibly rude and dismissive which is a shame when the doctors are incredible

Why can we now no longer book a G.P. appointment on line? Nurse appointments are listed,but no G.P. ones.
As a person with hearing issues,who struggles with telephone conversations,I am at a loss as to how to book an appointment.Since Covid,we can no longer 'pop in' to the surgery,so the telephone appears to be my only option.I find this discriminatory against deaf and hard-of-hearing patients and cannot understand why this facility ,which I have always used previously,has been withdrawn.
S. S.Huge thanks to Doctor Wallace who always treats me and my family with care and compassion. She listens without judgement and puts you at ease. The reception staff are busy but will do anything to help.

G.Having a life long illness, I try to avoid going to the drs as much as possible (self diagnosis is amazing...) on the 2 occasions I've had to go to see my gp in the last few years they have provided amazing care. Both times, the Dr has realised I've been more ill than I realised and have either had me admitted to hospital within hours or, last time, had a receptionist actually rush me to hospital and stay by my side until I was settled in a bed which was actually early evening by this point
I've had numerous gp's in my life but Front Street, Dr Orr, Dr Rawcliffe and the receptionists have been above and beyond even though I know I'm a pain.
D. “. P.I'm a regular visitor for blood tests and follow up appointments. Never had a bad experience here. I did prefer my old surgery at Beech Grove till they closed but its nice to see a lot of the staff have moved to this surgery too.
J. N.I would like to say a huge thank you to all the receptionists who treated me politely, professionally and with empathy. Special thanks go to Dr Shaw who was caring and compassionate and treated me with dignity.
