A. R.It was extremely busy and it was clearly understaffed. Staff were working very hard in the circumstances. We had to wait an hour odd for a missing duvet but the duty manager, Ramesh was very hospitable and kind and resolved the issue amicably. Clare from housekeeping also exceptionally good, friendly and fixed the Nespresso machine in our room almost immediately after reporting. Have stayed in many Holiday Inns and Holiday Inn Expresses before, this was definitely one of the better ones, more up to date facilities and nice atmosphere. Kids eat free definitely a plus point. I would book here again.

A.Handy hotel close to the airport. A fire alarm at 3am didn’t help with sleep for an early departure. Although better to be safe than sorry. Also, we had one room we had to report due to a strong smell of Cannabis. However, the staff immediately came down with a key for the room next door which was perfect.

J. G.I really like my stay at the Holiday Inn. The room was smart, the push button shower was amazing and breakfast was nicely presented and fresh, this being 8.45am on a Sunday morning. I was surprised to have to pay for parking though and it's not cheap, at £10 a night. Also when I checked in at 11.10pm on Saturday I was told the bar was open and was given my free drink voucher (Gold card holder benefit) as normal. However when arriving at the bar just a 10m walk from reception it was closed and the member of staff present was very ungracious about the prospect of serving us. Reluctantly she did, but clearly she wasn't happy about it and only beer and soft drinks were available. So the receptionist was wrong but it should have been handled better by the member of staff at the bar.

V. C.I have stayed at this hotel many times, it has recently had a refurbishment of the restaurant/reception area, and it's had some new rooms added. These are typical holiday Inn affair and are clean and tidy. There is a nice veranda area to sit out on if the weather is nice. The thing that makes this hotel so nice however are the excellent staff, such as Rupesh and his team. Always happy to help and willing to assist.
Food is good, and reasonably priced. Breakfast is a buffet with hot and cold selection.

Y.The hotel was newly refurbished. On arrival Ashraf the guest manager was v friendly and accommodating. Due to our late arrival, My 3 year old daughter was hungry. Unfortunately the company who has supposedly arranged our rooms had made a mistake and our booking hadn’t been received by the hotel. The hotel was full. However, Rupesh was a true gentleman and ensured our safety as 2 women arriving at night in a unfamiliar city and was able to accommodate us within the hotel. The room was lovely and clean. Fresh towels provided on request. Friendly bar staff especially Mo who made us some lovely cocktails. All staff very welcoming and would stay here again. Free shuttle bus to and from NEC - 5 minute drive.
J.This was a suprising find, very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, relaxation areas and communal areas. We found a sock under the sofa bed that did not belonging to us and the room although classed as Executive suit was standard but overall it is definately on our list if ever we need accomodation before flying abroad.

Enjoyed the use of the gym facility ... advance booking required to use the swimming pool. Kids would have loved to swim, but the only availability they had was beyond our checkout time. Something to bear in mind for would-be residents thinking of using the swimming pool.
All in all, had a great experience and would recommend this place. Slight con was the not free parking facility (£10).
