R. S.Sharon at front desk was extremely helpful and welcoming. We had booked multiple rooms and needed extra pillows, bedding sheets etc. She even managed to find us another room at very short notice. We were very grateful as she went out of her way to accommodate for us, even at 2am! She is a real asset to this hotel. Excellent stay 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
S. A.Far better then I expected it to be after being disappointed by Holiday Inn Lime street, London. Cleaner rooms and bathrooms and good customer service too. Their breakfast was awesome and the staff specially Roxana & Deni, were very friendly and courteous, made it a memorable one for us. Review of Holiday Inn Birmingham M6, Jct.7, an IHG hotel
As a blue badge disabled driver I parked in the disabled bay. TAMMY the receptionist assured me it was free parking though I should register my car. She processed the booking quickly and efficiently and directed us to a ground floor room.
Unfortunately (and repeatedly) the key cards refused to work. I was informed to keep the card separate from my phone but no avail. Several return trips were made to reception to get the cards renewed.
I ordered a pleasant supper of whitebait
(see picture) although for a vegetarian fish eater, the menu lacked choice. It was served without delay.
Mention must be made of the hot chocolate which was not only delicious, it was Hot!
In the morning I was greeted by AMANDA in the health suite who was very kind and informative. I did ask her for a towel so I could shower and one was duly given, with a smile.
Breakfast buffet style went without a hitch and the staff cleared the crockery politely and efficiently.
All in all, I found the hotel although a little down at heel in decor compared to other Holiday Inns I have stayed in, there were good efforts to give us a good comfortable welcome.
Negatives: No fridge, faulty key cards.
Positives: Clean bedrooms, quiet location, friendly staff.

J. T.Hotel ok. Good for workman no one will notice your dirty work boots as hotel a bit tired. but not for business or holiday guest. Room not dusted stained duvet, toothpaste in glass from last guest. Hotel looks tired and needs a coat of paint and new carpet. Breakfast good. But evening meal choice is limited and quality varies each nite. Pot luck if food is hot or cold. Hotel asked for rating on departure. I gave 7 out of 10 as it served my purpose. I have stayed in many holiday Inn that I would rate 10 out of 10.
I. D.We were part of an organised event for 60 people over 2 nights. The hotel staff were a delight, very helpful and friendly. The parking was free because we had a room booked. The room was very spacious, clean, tidy and updated. Yes the bathroom was small but perfectly functional. It was up to date and modern, the shower was great. Some of our friends used the hotel pool and gym, no complaints. The food for the function was first class, as was the breakfast. The bar and communal area was very comfortable and modern. We are travelling in the area next week and will definately book this hotel again. Oh and there was tea and coffee facilities in the room with excellent TV reception. An excellent, clean comfortable place to stay.
M. T.Stayed over night with my son room very clean and comfortable. Love using the pool and facilities. When I arrived yesterday afternoon staff on the front desk were not so helpful just handed me the room key and that was it . However I found the bar staff more helpful in answering my questions . Food menu nit so good, very limited and comes out nothing like it us shown on the menu . My starter came out 10 minutes before my sons but again thanks to the barstaff he sorted it out for us and gave us 2 extra drinks on the house . Service very slow. Breakfast was great .
