Just accompanied my friend to her Hotel and was going home by Train but as Storm Eunice causing chaos was a bit concerned . The receptionist made sure my friend was in room with extra bed and told me I could stay or come back if any issues with Train. I find everyone ( well almost everyone ) in Brum friendly but this member of staff was excellent. Sorry didn’t get her name but on this afternoon. Many thanks I got home Ok but will come back another time and stay for sure.

Second visit. Smooth operation, lovely steak dinner and attentive customer service from Ella in the evening and Kelly at breakfast. Next time we go to Brum, we shall stay there.

What can I say?
No surprises. Pleasant staff. Easy check-in. Clean room. Lively bar downstairs.
Dropped one star because my room faced the lift doors so there was footfall and clunking during the night and early morning, there was a lovely balcony and view but no way to open the doors and the bathroom layout was weird. The space was roomy but the WC was crammed in a corner behind the door.
Nothing to prevent me coming back again.
T. J.
Amazing staff, immaculate room, full breakfast cooked to order, all for less than £50. Perfect!
G. B.
Staff were really friendly and helpful, went the extra mile and looked after our kids. Great location and clean room. Good breakfast and at a decent price.
S. W.
Comfy beds/rooms. Excellent food and value for money. However, the staff really made the stay for us. So friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble trouble and always a smiling face to greet you! From reception staff to restaurant/bar staff you were all awesome! Can't comment on room cleaning service and we didn't go for that.
Well done Premier Inns. Can't wait to be back in Waterloo Street next February!
L. M.
The best Premier Inn I have ever stayed in. Staff extremely friendly and very helpful. The front of house staff are second to none, very knowledgeable, will go out of their way to answer questions, nothing was too much trouble for them.
The restaurant attached to this is too die for, fabulous food and waiting staff, felt more like a friend than a customer. Excellent value for money and I will be returning soon.

Fairly clean and tidy, basic hotel in the centre of Birmingham. Stayed for 4 nights, monday-thursday and had no issues. Told on check in that there was no cleaning of rooms/changing of towels during my stay but could be requested. No issues with this but I imagine it could be a little annoying if you want fresh towels every day/had dirty dishes in the room etc. I also ran out of the milk and tea bags so had to ask for extra each day from reception. Again, not an issue for me but could see it getting annoying. The loo roll is from a dispenser rather than a roll so be careful not to get caught short as no extra tissue is provided. And there are no toiletries etc other than hand soap and body wash in dispensers on the wall. The room did have a kettle and hair dryer. Two extra pillows but no blanket. There was also only one plug on one side of the bed, which was really low down. The room was basic but clean enough. My only issue was there was no net curtain. My room overlooked an office block. Don't do what I did and leave the bathroom door open... because all can see in 🤣. A suggestion from me would be net curtains for privacy (rather than having to shut the curtains during day hours) and perhaps some mould spray in the shower as there was black mould at the bottom of the shower/in the grout. Nice decent shower with good pressure. No bath.
Breakfast was nice and the food from the restaurant was nice too. I personally didn't pay as it was a work trip but would recommend my work to book again if need be.
M. D.
Great location, everything is in easy reach. Room is basic but perfectly comfortable. Decent bathroom with plenty of hot water.
N. G.
It was okay. I love PI's but this was a bit poor (& it's the little things). 1 lift out of order & the other one was awful, just took stairs all the time. No soap next to sink & no hot water on the checkout day. We paid £100 a night so not a cheap stay where you can overlook these things. Location, cleanliness etc all great as usual.
T. D.
Usual excellent quality from Premier, good sized room, quiet at night, great location, only downside was no car park, not the Hotels fault obviously, but the multi stories nearby were so expensive, over £39 for 24 hrs!!! (Check in time said 3pm but we were allowed to check in an hour earlier by the friendly receptionist)
T. J.
Amazing staff, immaculate room, full breakfast cooked to order, all for less than £50. Perfect!
L. L.
Noisy plumbing, no signage you have to want to go there. 7th floor pipes were having a concert at midnight. Driving you have to park offsite in B4parking com nearby, do not register!! Get discount code applied from your hotel, very important. Food off the chart!! Really good if you love steak, however you are surrounded by good food outlets.
R. S.
The usual pleasant welcome. Clean room and well kept common areas. This is my 1st choice hotel when staying in Birmingham.
D. B.
Stsy here regularly for weekends away. Central for all pubs restaurants etc. Breakfast is the best we have had snd we stay in a few Premiers around the country.
Rooms clean and friendly staff
B. R.
Very helpful staff, clean comfortable room and we had a view of the cathedral which looked beautiful especially with the Christmas market stalls and lights.
P. P.
Reception great very informative, room ok a bit dated but comfortable, restaurant next door very good food & breakfast good to.
C. J.
Typical city centre premier inn. A little dated in its decor in the rooms and not as comfortable as it could be. The large windows, that don't open, allow a lot of sunlight in but also make the room very warm and the air conditioning is very poor. During the night it was difficult to sleep in the warm temperatures.
The black out curtains that are normally so good at other locations unfortunately did not work so well here. They didn't cover the windows completely and one curtain rail was coming away from the wall (reported to reception upon leaving).
While I believe that it may have been possible to have these issues reminded by informing reception I was to tired to put up with the hassle of either moving room for 1 night or having someone in trying to fix the issues.
The restaurant was good although busy on Saturday night as can be expected so booking a table in advance is advisable.
It was OK for a night but I don't think I will be using this hotel again.
A. F.
Fantastic stay. Requested interconnecting rooms which was sorted for our stay. Hats off to Molly and Jonathan brilliant customer service a real credit to Whitbread made us feel so welcome. Will definitely stay again. Rooms was also spotless and quite.
B. S.
I can't fault the place, friendly staff, rooms clean and well presented, what more can you ask for
M. P.
Clean, polite staff, local and the option of restaurant for breakfast perfect. Will be returning to both
A. B.
Great stay here, try to get a top floor room if you can. Clean, quiet, all good!
S. S.
This has to be one of the best Premier Inns in the country.
Every member of staff treated you like a valued member of the family taking the time to chat in a kind manner and make sure that you enjoyed your stay.
I will certainly be back.
Thank you.
C. W.
Really good location. Friendly staff. Room spot on. Yeah good place to stay
M. C.
Absolutely blooming wonderful
Rooms are impeccable the beds comfortable beyond measure.
Breakfast was a highlight for sure.
The staff are top quality in every department from the cleaners to the chefs.
Location was spot on as it's close enough to the shops to walk & near the station.
Merriment throughout the night but joyful folk singing didn't disturb me one bit
I can't express how splendid the Premier Inn is.
Budget prices offering upscale high quality services.
B. N.
Exactly as I expected. Amazing staff. Lovely restaurant. Ideally located in pub land.
l. r.
Very friendly helpful staff. Perfect location. Room spotlessly clean and well equipped. Highly recommended.
S. H.
Central to shops, restaurants and Christmas market
Great food and service
L. X.
Street had some rowdy drunk crowd on a Friday evening but there's pretty good security from the hotel. Hotel is convenient and near train station. Friendly reception.
G. F.
Really nice place and the staff were really helpful
D. P.
You know what to expect with a premier Inn and this one did t disappoint. Really welcoming and helpful staff. TV reception wasn't great but that's just a minor point and didnt spoil my stay.
D. P.
Great location, cheap price, clean.
Blocks away from amazing sights, great food and drinks.
M. &. R. L. &. H.
Perfect for what I need it for. Located right in the city centre, affordable and friendly staff
J. L.
clean rooms friendly staff ,ideal base
A. M.
The staff here are very friendly and helpful. We had a great couple of nights sleep here. We didn’t experience any problems with noise (but our room was at the rear of the building). Would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay in the city centre and get a good nights rest.
A. P. (.
Great location within easy walking to everywhere, including Christmas market, bullring and new street station, although up a slight hill if you struggle. Room was a good size, just a little dusty on arrival, and there was black stuff coming out of the bath tap, probably because most people use the shower. Otherwise the room was great. Helpful and friendly team.
Y. K.
Good city centre hotel. Room as expected for a Premier Inn. New pillows just arrived! Uninspiring view from my 7th floor room though. Good hot shower. Didn't use the restaurant in the evening but a bit disappointed with breakfast. Not the standard Premier Inn menu. No back bacon. Only smoked and very fatty streaky.
D. H.
Lovely staff very accommodating and the breakfast was divine.
They got the breakfast perfect we haven't had a breakfast choice like this in a long time. The chef was brilliant and he prepared cheese on toast for our daughter fresh and even brought it out to us. They had everything all fresh and hot.
The location is perfect and you are a cock stride away from everything from shopping to museums. it gets 10 /10 in every aspect and would recommend with confidence.
P. D.
Rooms were lovely to stay in, cleaned thoroughly. The staff were all wonderful people. The food was great value and the restaurant was well ran. The location of the hotel was close to the cathedral and the heart of the city yet no noise pollution through the windows so it was easy to have a great night sleep. Would recommend if people want a reasonably priced hotel in the Birmingham city area to go to this one!
A. R.
Pretty nice and new Premier Inn.
This is a pretty standard Premier Inn, one of the largest I have stayed in. This did not mean that the service was compromised, staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. Helping with dinner and breakfast reservations during check-in. The express check-in desks are perfect for anyone busy or needing to quickly check-in.
My only reservation about this hotel was to do with cleanliness of the bathroom. There were a few hairs in the bath and sink, which were quickly rinsed away, but it did make me wonder about how thoroughly the bathroom was cleaned.
My only other annoyance was that the was no pen given to fill out the questionnaire left in the room!
D. E.
Nice hotel with easy to use self check in service. Small reception area offering a left luggage facilities with a ticket system. Great breakfast lots of selection at a very reasonable price. The bar are restaurant are lively with a good vibe and gorgeous evening food. Comfortable clean bedrooms.
A. R.
Good standard of accommodation and an excellent breakfast. My only criticism is the lack of clear signage at the entrance. I climbed stairs looking for reception until I figured out you had to take a lift down. All very confusing.
K. H.
First stay at Premier Inn. And first to mention were the excellent staff - every single member was extremely helpful, friendly and ready to do anything to help. Good value for city centre hotel and the beds really are luxury. Room was spacious and clean.
K. Q.
Clean comfy room. Tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer, lovely breakfast, helpful staff. Only fault was taxi reception called for me (A2B cabs) charged me double than the taxi I got myself on way in from coach!
N. H.
Room on 2nd floor was clean but very dated. Rubbish shower and I didn't get any sleep at all due to flat pillows, noisy room (air con/heating) and bars outside (empties tipped into recycling a few times from 11-1am, deliveries at 5am). Experience saved only by a really good breakfast!
C. A.
Stayed here for one night. Check in was pleasant and easy. The room was fine, bed was very comfortable. The hotel is very central which meant the room wasn't the quietest. The shower wasn't great, it had little pressure and made a terrible racket. 3 stars overall.
P. M.
Good central location with onsite restaurant/bar. Close to Bullring and Grand Central. Room was clean and had everything you would expect at a Premier Inn. The room had noisy heater and as it was a low level room there was street noise. Could hear bar stools in bar being dragged about. As we were out most of the time did not bother me. Staff on front desk were helpful and friendly. Staff in bar were okay, it was a bit under staffed.
A. T.
On arrival on Thursday seemed mostly okay, but cold without air con on and when that was on the sound was mad. Restaurant was good, with great range of well cooked food. Friday evening was really noisy outside so got to sleep about 1am, and then someone was knocking on my door at 2.30ish. So sleeping in a quiet zone was a bit of a joke!
S. T.
Great hotel comfortable beds nice room
M. C.
Stayed for 4 nights. Good location close to New Street and cathedral. Within walking distance of ICC. Room very comfortable and clean. Everything in the room worked! WiFi free and reliable. I actually enjoyed the breakfast, it was served quickly and you still can fill up with cereal and toast. No marmalade though! Guys you need marmalade or at least a choice of jam! Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Was very quiet at night.
N. S.
Nice hotel and very comfortable beds.had a great night's sleep.
N. L.
Easiest check in ever! Very quiet, rooms excellent and what stands out is the staff....amazing service. Nothing a problem and made sure you got everything you needed from first to last. Quality breakfast. Not a "budget" hotel at all.
J. G.
Room was very nice and also quite large. Staff were nice and were able to assist when I accidentally lost my room card...
Location is good. About 5-10 minute walk from the shopping center and train station.
R. R.
Ideally located for the bullring and the Xmas markets. Staff very professional. Rooms clean and well equipped. Only gripe was the pillows! Way too soft for our taste. Restaurant and bar looked great although we ate out. Reasonable room rates.
C. R.
had a lovely time here the staff ARE very nice. second time to this hotel, it's placed in a fantastic area. This time I didn't get a good view, but I knew their would change me if I asked. but i had a great sleep.
D. W.
The hotel was excellent in all respects. We were very happy with our family room which had plenty of space for the 4 of us. The hotel staff were very helpful each time we contacted reception. It was located in a great area and we had a good undisturbed night's sleep.
P. M.
First time in Birmingham, found the hotel easily as it's very close to the train station. Checked in by girl named Danielle, she was very efficient and polite. When we told her that we were there for the concert but forgot which venue and didnt know where to go, she immediately started searching, informed us where and how to get there. Then the same day spoke to the night team 2 women (didn't get their names) they were very friendly and helpful too. I know Premier Inns around England quiet well but never seen such a friendly staff.
Room was big, quiet and the bed was comfy.
C. S.
Good restaurant, but small tv’s in room and a bit dated. Loads of windows with bad curtains so very light when curtains closed. No good if your working nights. Back again in room 622, noisy hot room, you will be awake at 06:00 with the glass bin being emptied in the alleyway. Same again with a wall of windows and bad curtains.
M. F.
This is such an easy location for the city centre, a 2 minute walk up the hill from the station, next to Birmingham cathedral. You know what you're getting at a Premier Inn, this location is quiet and lots of places around to eat, although the Beefeater bar/restaurant attached was pretty OK. Very helpful check in staff and standard clean quiet rooms, what not to like.
M. W.
The rooms are clean, the linen and towels are in good condition.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is very good, albeit a bit slow in being served by only a certain member of the restaurant staff.
Overall, a great experience and would be happy to visit again.
J. A.
While a little shabby around the edges (some of the carpet was pulled up or worn and the television set mount was broken), my room was clean and well maintained. Staff were courteous and friendly. Location was convenient to surrounding amenities!
E. O.
Good hotel. Was surprised that a double room has two different sized beds (one queen and one twin or full) but it was fine! The restaurant attached has decent food and beer and I would stay here again.
A. W. S.
You must try their new beefeater bar and block restaurant absolutely top notch. We stayed at the premier and would recommend for this alone also their breakfast is not the usual dried out buffet style. But cooked to order chosen from a good menu. The rooms are standard premier Inn quality quiet comfortable and well priced the staff are friendly and helpful This was our 2nd stay and will return it has improved from the last time in July 15 and we thought it was near perfect then
W. B.
Had a great stay, really friendly staff! Forgot some pens which the check-in staff rectified promptly. Breakfast staff were extremely helpful. Great location. Clean room, Very enjoyable experience.
H. S.
Let me start by saying that staff make a place and that is definitely true for Danielle at this Premier Inn. If all service sector staff were like Danielle the UK would have the best service staff in the World. Premier Inn you have a star in your midst who was pro-active, friendly, courteous, honest, full of local knowledge and just the best.
The hotel is standard Premier Inn with usual room amenities and branding. There can be some noise at night and early morning from the streets and neighbours below, even for us on the 6th floor, but I guess this is to be expected for the location, which is very central and convenient.
Breakfast next door in the steakhouse is also very good either some additions to the normal premier inn breakfast like chilli beans and corned beef hash.
G. R.
Booked this particular premier inn for the location - within walking distance of main railway station, shops and local attractions. Was expecting it to be noisy but it was fine for a midweek stay. It might be noisier at weekends. The breakfast menu was not to my liking, too robust for me first thing in the morning but I understand that there will be a lighter choice of fruit and yoghurt available shortly. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.
S. C.
Would stay here again. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The staff were helpful and the breakfast bar was well stocked with plenty of choice.
C. W.
I stay at Premier Inns for work quite a lot, I hadn't stayed at this particular one before but it was nice, the staff were very friendly and welcoming when I arrived, they booked me a table for 6:30pm as I had the meal deal (first time using this) and it was all very pleasant, I was on the fourth floor and the room was average size, perfect for 1-2 people, had a desk and a small ensuite, the room itself was very clean and tidy, had heating and air con which at the time it was cold! So heating was very welcomed. There was some water marks on the walls where it did look like the walls had been crying but it was all dry so no real issues there just visually not great.
The restaurant - Bar + Block Steakhouse - was lovely and being a lactose intolerant vegetarian (basically just a vegan that eats eggs) I know i'm not the easiest person in the world to feed. I did have a slight panic when my reservation came through from my manager for a steakhouse... but there was 2 vegan options - Thi Green Curry and a Buddha Bowl. Personally I had the buddha bowl and it was lovely came quickly and was all very fresh, I did skip desert but there was 1 option of fruit with coconut ice cream. The breakfast in the morning was also lovely but the hot food was slightly cold. Overall it was a great stay in a cheaper hotel. Would stay again.
A. B.
Great location on the canal network. Parked up in their carpark and didn't use car all weekend! Rooms usual great quality and staff exceptional at check in and dining room.
J. M.
Great location, easy check in and very friendly service. Shower was not that hot. Had a decent night's sleep though room was hot and the ac could not be lowered below 19 degrees.
D. T.
This is situated right next to St Philip's Square and the lovely Cathedral The hotel is really nice and the rooms are lovely and comfortable and just where the hotel is, is lovely. Being right in the centre of the City you can go anywhere: shops/bars/restaurants/Grand Central Train Station and The Bull Ring complex...not to mention The Town Hall, Theatre's, Brindley Place and the canall network. A great place.
G. B.
Hotel is well located in the heart of the city centre, a short walk from many bars and restaurants. It offers the usual good value for money we have come to expect at Premier Inn. Room and facilities are of average quality and proportion, but remain more than reasonable for an overnight or short term stay. Comfortable beds with tea and coffee making facilities, desk space for business travellers, and functional en-suite shower /WC. Wardrobes are open fronted (no doors) and are a little limited for space. The hotel benefits from electronic check-in/out system and is connected to the neighbouring Beefeater restaurant. Breakfast is extra and is served in the Beefeater, but is excellent value for money with a good selection of hot and cold options. On street parking is available outside after 7pm and before 8.30am, with nearby parking available at Snow Hill station. Recommended if your visiting on business or leisure and are on a budget (advance bookings at very competitive prices).
D. P.
Great location, cheap price, clean.
Blocks away from amazing sights, great food and drinks.
G. M.
Asked for a meal deal when checking in, but restaurant staff (affiliated with Beefeater) had no record of reservation - also took a long time to get service. Breakfast was only luke warm.
Hotel is a standard Premier Inn format, so the room/bed was comfortable and extremely clean; however, the magnetic card locks were extremely reluctant to open, despite having a card change. Other customers were experiencing similar problems.
No baths (or at least not in my room) and room cold (at 20'C setting) until I ran the heating/AC at highest temperature (25'C!)
B. L.
Good comfortable room with nice views of Birmingham city centre. Excellent breakfast. The receptionist on check - in was particularly welcoming and really friendly. I will definitely be staying here again.
J. L.
clean rooms friendly staff ,ideal base
M. C.
Really nice premier inn. Nice views of the cathedral from my room on the 7th floor. Great breakfast. Comfy bed and good shower - definitely recommend
E. F.
I really felt comfortable at this hotel.
They have a really small lobby, but the staff manning it are really pleasant and helpful, the rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable, it's quiet and just a short walk away from everything you need.
S. A. a. B.
It was a fairly small room but very clean and comfortable. Very good location- between the old and the new parts of the city and easy to get to from the railway. Very good value.
J. H.
5 Star service, had a great time thank you
b. m.
Nice enough for a Premier Inn..Good location. One gripe; the plumbing needs sorting. Unbelievably noisy pipes and loud enough to wake the dead which, is unfortunate if you don't have to get up at the crack of dawn.
C. S.
This is situated right in the City Centre, with some rooms overlooking the Cathedral gardens. From the outside it looks dated, dull and uninviting, which is not the case on the inside. The only downsides were that there were only 2 coffee sachets in the room, reception remedied this, and the breakfast menu. Otherwise a great place to spend a night.
J. M.
Big room, clean, nice view of Cathedral, staff helpful and friendly. Had a DBB rate for £99 a night which was great value for money as the Bar+Block restaurant next door was really good. The only thing that stopped it being 5 was the annoying whine from the shower which I did report but wasn't rectified. A great option for the city centre and would definitely stay here again.
S. H.
Central to shops, restaurants and Christmas market
Great food and service
K. W.
Not terrible but not amazing.
Been to many Premier Inn's and I find this one is almost due for a upgrade.
Television is terribly tiny, arrangement of rooms could be better.
The water pressure in the shower terrible.
I wouldn't pay more than £50 per night for here
R. M.
Standard and predictable room, one of the reasons for booking a chain hotel. Quite expensive even considering city centre location. Comfortable bed, buzzy air con and you cannot open the windows. Small TV with poorly set colour, great for cartoons, but then everything looks like a cartoon on it.
Beefeater below with inclusive 'meal deal's was good value, though having to wait until 21:00 for a table for one in a half filled restaurant is annoying to say the least. Well done to the waitress Jay, who managed to sound friendly and welcoming without coming across as sycophantic.
J. W.
Rooms basic but comfortable, perhaps need a little attention for wear and tear. Some noise from pubs etc in local area could be heard in our room. Seems to be some issues with plumbing, pipes making noise frequently (presumably when other rooms using taps and shower)
H. Y.
My favourite Premier Inn in central Birmingham. Excellent location. As noticed by previous reviewers the restaurant attached doesn't do the usual breakfast - which was a shame as I'd happily eat the grill food for dinner but for breakfast I was looking forward to the range that premier inns usually have.
g. m.
We arrived a bit early for check in, and upon asking if we could leave cases while we explored the city, kirstii said we could check in as there was a room ready for us. It was one of the disabled rooms so we had plenty type of space. The rest is the usual premier Inn standards, big beds, baths n showers.. Would book again
p. g.
Very central. We used the hotel to visit the NEC. Dropped our bags off in their secure storage. Then two minutes walk to new street station where a train leaves every 10 minutes to the Nec which is a 10 minutes journey. Lovely bar attached, very clean and nice staff. Only issue some may find is if travelling by car the nearest car park is about 7 minutes walk.
C. P.
Excellent location, nice room, comfy bed, good shower. The restaurant and bar is very pleasant, can't comment on the food or breakfast but had a few drinks in the evening.
J. S.
Great location. The room I had was a bit small but OK. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was OK.
The down side is the parking. . 7-10 min walk to the nearest car park.
J. J.
Zero parking so I had to park Snow Hill at £4.00 for up to 2 hours only. Lucky I was only visiting. Otherwise, clean, staff on hand, card access for whole building which stops the thieves. Value for money, en suite room with great facilities. Bottle opener on desk, tv with freeview, free shower gel & plenty clean towels. Beds are well made and comfy and I’ll be using again in future. Busy location tho. Just other side of corporation street and colmore row. Right there by pigeon park
M.
The staff friendly and polite. Service was quick & food yummy. I had a good night sleep. Hotel was located in a good spot for where I needed to go. I enjoyed my stay there.
J. S.
There are no telephones in the rooms and the TVs are small. No irons available in the press room.
However staff are well trained and the restaurant deserves five stars.
A. C.
Nice and clean, central location.
G. F.
Really nice place and the staff were really helpful
M. H.
Staying here for two nights while attending HRH weekend at 02 Academy. Great staff who where very helpful when we discovered we only had one towel to share and great room. Tackled the all you can eat breakfast like champs. Standard Primer Inn. Would recommend!
T. B.
This Hotel is nice but quite cold are the rooms and Reception area. Why Doesn't the Manager/Manageress look after their Reception Staff by putting decent blow heaters on instead of crappy radiators.Gives the whole hotel a bad name and the Premier Inn name too. Watching poor staff Shivering is not a good look for Premier Inn.Who is higher up to complain to? C.E.O ETC
P. B.
On the plus side: the room was clean, the water was hot, bed comfortable. Meal was good too. Less good: room very cold and temperature control failed to work. Table in room was wobbly. No shaver point.
G. W.
Excellent location, away from Broad Street, but close enough to all the attractions of Birmingham, this hotel is perfect. Comfortable and spacious room, breakfast was best I have ever had in PI hotel.
D. M.
Great location being down the road from New Street station. Friendly staff and clean rooms. The bathroom did smell of smoke which was raised to reception who dealt with it without any problems.
K. U.
Loved the hotel, and the staff were fab. Would've given it a 5star rating. But the homeless situation as you enter and leave the hotel made my stay an uneasy one.
E. T. N.
In the heart of the city. If you are lucky you can get a room veery good view of cathedral. Premier inn good standards in the rooms. Breakfast and dinner served in the adjacent restaurant. Breakfast is veery good. They serve full English and continental. Even maany kiinds of croissants: regular, wholegrain, with ham and cheese, with cheese and tomato.. 😅
C. R.
Bed was comfortable and there was no noise from outside (which was very noisy), but there was rattling from the fan and a number of other noises from what I assume are pipes and things in the building. Not sure if I got a full nights sleep. However staff were lovely and the breakfast saves it a fourth star!
S. C.
Good location, good bed, nice room. Attached to the Beefeater and used the evening meal and breakfast option. Food and service in the restaurant was very good. For price paid, would highly recommend.
T. H.
Handy location, friendly reception staff. Room small but perfectly serviceable for an overnight stay. Double glazing worked well for busy road outside. Would happily use again.
H. N.
We stayed at the Premier Inn for one night. It was perfect for what we needed. We had a family suite. The children's bed weren't the most comfortable but the double bed was fine.
J. C.
Great place to stay, not far from the train station, within walking distance, staff was friendly, rooms was clean couldn't fault the place. Definitely recommend.
B. S.
A great hotel 2 minutes from the centre of town and 5 mins walk from New St Station, Birmingham. Staff very friendly and food excellent. Bedrooms very clean and nicely furnished.
M. K.
Arrived at 11.30am and were able to be checked in straight away. Huge room. Very comfortable, lots of windows and light. Good location close to New St station and Tesco Metro.
C. D.
Fab room clean very comfortable. Staff friendly and the breakfast to die for. Our second stay coming back in July.
A. T.
We had an excellent room with a panoramic view of the cathedral. The aircon in the room was awesome, the room very clean and much for luxury than what I'm used to in other rooms in a similar price bracket.
S. Y. h.
Wonderful! A beautiful spacious room overlooking the cathedral. Kind staff and a lovely restaurant.

This is a city Centre location, which makes it very handy for everything but just remember that on a Saturday night, it’s never going to be quiet. Usual rubbish Premier Inn WiFi.
I stayed here prior to the Velo Birmingham Sportive, and was able to keep my bike in my room.

Clean room, helpful staff. Kettle in room didn't work, reported and sorted. Can't complain for a budget hotel. Restaurant and bar were nice, and reasonably priced too.
S. H.
Good room with excellent services except in the restaurant for breakfast. Not fast enough. Food very good and location perfect. Door cards a bit temperamental.
A. B.
I stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful corner room with a beautiful view over the library. All staff were helpful and polite. Room was very clean.
P. C.
Good access to the city, very close to Birmingham New Street train station. Can get noisy at night. Good breakfast options as well
c. g.
Nice and clean, well located to bars and shops.
Would not recommend adjoining restaurant, food and service was very poor. (Lunch time sercice)
H. E.
Solid Premier Inn. Good bed, good pillows, good staff, nice and clean room without the luxury of a 4 or 5 star. Very good value for money
M. P.
Great location in Birmingham, right next to the shop, not far from the Train station. Rooms are small but comfortable, but not very well soundproofed as it's very loud at night.
S. B.
Clean and really well located. Be aware if you go outside for a smoke your going to get asked for money by homeless a lot. The beef eater attached is good.
M. W.
Stayed here for one night with family on a saver price, great location by the cathedral, tucked away form the main busy street - staff were very friendly and welcoming - room allocated was on the back on the 7th floor with a nice view of the rooftop and Bullring Rotunda, it was tidy and very clean... up to the normal Premier inn standard... no problems with noise or any disturbances at night...
R. H.
Rooms are excellent, clean and tidy. Free WiFi available and multiple lifts servicing the rooms. Food and beverage is provided by Beefeater restaurant which is somewhat limited on beverage choice
W. C.
Fantastic food, very friendly staff. Room was clean and powerful shower. Good value for money.
M. G.
Great location, Large room, Nice english breakfast.
But the internet was very slow, although you could pay to benefit higher speeds!
I could connect my iPad but not my iPhone:(
J. V.

R. F.
Nice clean room, good location. Can't fault it really. Breakfast was nice in the morning, a good selection.
E. D.
Clean, quiet, comfortable. Restaurant attached good if you like steak. Plenty of other choice nearby
G. F.
The check-in was smooth and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Can't comment on the food as I didn't try it on this stay
S. L.
Clean, friendly, value. But one thing spoilt it this time - loud music till late from the bar next door.
Update: moved to 5 stars - got a full refund because of the noise. Great customer service.
R. H.
Standard Premier Inn service and quality. Our room was very small for a family room - probably the smallest we've ever stayed in.
L. S.
Excellent, helpful staff; nicely reinforced double glazing to ward off against the cathedral bells and one of the best stocked restaurants next door. A pleasure to stay at.
R. D.
Nice hotel. Lovely rooms. Friendly staff. Room keys problematic, they only work occasionally. Restaurant needs more vegetarian options.
C. “. B.
Nice hotel. Quiet room, clean and cheap as well so can't complain. Breakfast was good as well.
S. S.
We have stayed here numerous times as a family. The location is excellent, the breakfast very good and the rooms are always clean.
M. &. R. L. &. H.
Perfect for what I need it for. Located right in the city centre, affordable and friendly staff
M. C.
Mixed impressions. Street outside very noisy one night. Basic but clean. Not the best Premier Inn I have used.
R. D.
Nice services, great place but only warm water, not hot. The same apply to room temperature: you can't make as hot as you want and in winter time sometimes you need more than they're giving to you.
J. C.
Very good place to stay in the heart of Birmingham. Staff are very friendly. Great breakfast and the room was very clean and comfortable.
C. K.
I like Premier Inns, they are not fancy but they consistently deliver what I want from a hotel, good locations, clean rooms, comfortable beds, free WiFi in the rooms all for a price that is reasonable.
D. S.
Nice place, good location - nearby high street. Clean and hygienic room. Enjoyed my stay.
H. W.
We love Premiere Inns. Always a Great Nightz Sleep. Staff helpful. Breakfast best meal of the day.
D. J.
Lovely staff, clean and comfy rooms and excellent soundproofing (very important given its central city location)
D. P.
You know what. For a cheapish hotel this is a good hotel. Breakfast is great and the room is well adequate. Much better the ibis budget, holiday Inn express or travellodge.
A. B.
Had a great stay. Only problem is no parking. Other wise would give 5*
T. J.
Excellent hotel. Well situated in the city centre. Spotlessly clean, with friendly helpful staff.
H. A.
Location is nice, service was okay - nothing special but got woken up multiple times through the night because of noise and my card doesn't work to open the rooms to which they wouldn't change my card
j. k.
Lovely clean room. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend if you're staying in Brum.
i. 8.
Great location and very clean. Staff were friendly and the restaurant was also very clean, great food. Would recommend this Premier Inn for a stay in Birmingham.
s.
Really nice premier inn. BATHS! woo hoo. And the bar/restaurant is nice, much nicer and varied than other Premier inns..... Breakfast is too a bit!

Good premier Inn, very modern and in nice area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was very easy to get to and tesco round the corner open till midnight was great.
G. B.
Very central. Room clean and very comfortable bed. Good breakfast, staff friendly and helpful.
S. M.
Excellent location 5minute walk from new street station , close to shops. We stayed for a concert at The Barclaycard arena which is only a 15 min walk away.
4. 1.
Usual good standards and very good restaurant, but no on site parking. Air conditioning in the room was good.
A. C.
Rooms are smaller to most of the premierinn's I've visited but clean and with working air-conditioning. Highly recommend restaurant for both breakfast and dinner.
D.
Standard Premier Inn - i.e. comfortable bed, clean room with bathroom, helpful staff, all you need for a good night's sleep in the city centre.
a. p.
Good hotel very central to all shops at a walking distance the staff at the hotel could not do enough to help only negative is there is no parking but there is a few carparks within walking distance
K. D.
Surprisingly quite considering we are here for new years
P. D.
Fantastic location...ten mins walk to central station....near to the shops too.....newly refurbished ...well worth staying in....
A.
Room was really well presented and clean. Very tidy and had a really good nights sleep. Would reccommend 10/10
J. H.
Got a good night's sleep. Not far from a load restaurants. 5 Five minutes walk at most from New Street train station.
C. K.
If you're arriving from New Street station, don't get a taxi to this Premier Inn. Come out the correct station exit and it's a 2 minute walk up the lane!
A. H.
I love Premier Inn. Good value, comfy, clean, lovely staff. Nothing more required. More of them maybe?
M. D.
It's a premier inn, if you've been before you know what your getting. This one seems quite new inside and living up to the name. Conveinient location for city centre attractions and transport links
P. A.

R. H.
Decent hotel, rooms are a bit small compared to other premiere inns I've stayed in.
