There are around 25 car spaces at this hotel and £25 per 24hrs. It has a tight entrance and difficult exit. Good location to centre and train station. I got a disable room which isn't great without a bath and the bathroom is like a wet room with low sink. I changed my room. Breakfast is good with self service. The hallways to the rooms feels cheap and poor office ceilings. My new room was good with mini fridge, kettle and iron. Staff were good and professional. I think there is a gym.

My partner took me here for NYE and we asked for a high up room and they put us on the top floor which was lovely, we had a nice dinner in the restaurant too. The room was nice but could of done with a mirror at the table or somewhere near a socket to dry your your hair. We had asked what time breakfast was served until and the guy told us 11am, unfortunately no one told us it was 10am on the Monday, so we missed a breakfast my partner had paid in advance for. There are no signs anywhere noticeable either. There wasn't any information about the hotel in the room, just a menu for room service that didn't even tell you the number to order it on. We had a nice time and the views were lovely but for an expensive hotel it was a bit basic. Although the staff we did see were all friendly.

This hotel was absolutely amazing! All of the staff were so friendly and welcoming and pleasant. We felt like royalty! The hotel was right in the town centre so very local, just literally a few mins walk to the shops, bars and restaurants. Very convenient parking at the hotel too. The hotel certainly had the wow factor and we would defo stay again for sure! It was very posh. We'd love to go back.

Great hotel. Room was ready and clean. Facilities were good. Breakfast was nice with plenty of options. Parking was convenient although a little tricky to find. Staff were very friendly.
A great location and really quiet

Loved this hotel.
Positives: Room was very clean, tidy and spacious and also very close to cardiff city centre and the local shopping centre.
Amazing floor to ceiling windows in the king suite.
Negatives: car park charges are £25 per 24 hours which is extremely excessive considering how small and tight the car park is.
The price for drinks at the bar is extortionate.
There was only one member of staff when checking in so it took 10-15 minutes.

Lovely hotel, clean and welcoming. Room spacious but no mirror to dry/ straighten hair or do make up & room was so cold we had to request a electric heater.

It's ok, nothing special, no wow factor.
Simple things... couldn't adjust room temperature. Bulb blown in bathroom. Towel rail didn't heat up.
Coffee mug stain on gold table in living area, not cleaned properly. Carpet had bits on it as though it needed a good vacuum.
Staff friendly, decent breakfast.

Breakfast could have been a lot better. Rooms are clean and tidy. Reception is slowest I've ever seen. Each check-in takes like 5 minutes and there were 5 party's waiting. Imagine after coming to your hotel after long journey to crash and then have to wait for 15-20 mins just to get checked in. Rooms are spacious and that's the only thing good here as I felt.

Brilliant - If you stay here, be sure to take the elevator to the top floor and see the view of city. It's only a small window, but it looks amazing at night.
Super friendly and helpful staff. Great room, comfy bed and nice ensuite bathroom. Breakfast choice was excellent, highly recommend.

Stopped here as we came to watch Biffy Clyro as part of The Bay Series in September 2021.
There is no drop off or parking at this hotel which is not ideal so we ended up parking in the John Lewis multi storey car park, though there is an open car park not to far away which is a little cheaper.
The room was nice enough and the breakfast was great. All good apart from the parking, which to be honest there's not a lot they could do about that

Lovely facilities. Wedding anniversary treat. Check-in at 3pm...... 45 mins later still standing in a queue on the street with no explanation just a cursory apology when we finally got to the front of the queue. Most people in the queue seemed to be students, weren't distancing and weren't wearing masks and one inconsiderate guy blowing cigarette smoke on everyone. One of the reception staff also not bothering with a mask . When we looked behind us there was at least another 30 people queuing. I have NO IDEA why check-in took so long - when we finally got to our turn the receptionist was tapping away for an eternity on his keyboard.... but we had already paid and they already had all of our information! Then another long wait for them to find our bags which were in left luggage as we first arrived about 2pm. Then had to go down to reception again because one of the bags was missing. The room was nice, bathroom lovely and sparkly clean, great view from the window but very unimpressed with the mayhem at check-in.

Stunning hotel, great views high up!! There was a lady that was so amazing, kinda curly ringlet ish hair..... She's an absolute treasure!!! Made my time there super awesome!
L.
Comfy bed, although we booked 2 twin rooms and were given 2 doubles....tha jfukky we're all good friends! 🤣
Room could do with updating hit the bathroom was spotless (take your own loo paper if you like the soft stuff!)
Perfect location for a concert in motorpoint.
Beware of charge for parking on site. We weren't advised of this when booking car in prior to checking in.
I'd stay here again for sure for the Convenience if you don't plan on 'staying in' for long, but if the rooms are updated it could be so much better 😊
p.
Average hotel, ridiculous parking fee of £25 so moved elsewhere! bar no open, food average and the WIFI is like being in the 90s... constant dropouts and slow speeds lost a lot of hours of work due to this issue.
Premiere inn was far better on previous stay in cardiff.

Lovely room with a great view. Comfortable bed and good pillows. Would stay again.

Hotel is in the heart of Cardiff City Centre.Good rooms & can have excellent view of city from upper floor.Hotel staff is very friendly & helpful specially the gentleman during the day shift and receptionist Tyma who solved my minor problem of my room as soon as possible by shifting us to another room on the same floor
(14 floor). The breakfast was excellent and ample place to sit in the restaurant and it was served up to 11 am.

Parking was expensive, room was not cleaned on Saturday. Not as nice as when i had previously stayed. Location is excellent.

Nice ‘n’ comfy beds. Good food. It is N I C E. But they got my room requirements wrong twice :( .
N. C.
Staff were very welcoming as soon as we arrived, room was spotless ( and I'm very fussy) and had everything we needed. Will definitely book here again.
D. H.
Lovely stay, nice room, lovely warm staff, great breakfast.
M. C.
Odd decor, rooms fairly comfortable but strange layout, shower/ bath very narrow.
K. H.
Had a great visit to Cardiff for the rugby 🏉
Had problems with the hotel booking, not perfect, but we will return.
A. L.
Pleasant stay but eggs at breakfast were hopeless. It's worth going to Crumbs to see how they should be made
C. M.
Great hotel perfect location if your out in town to party or just want a quite stay
D. F.
An excellent city centre location, good rooms and great food and beverages.

Average room , spacious yet underwhelming ,decent service and good breakfast

Got to say excellent staff cant do enough for you and rooms good clean all you need

Great Hotel great spot for motorpoint arena. Excellent breakfast, excellent rooms 10/10 All staff were excellent too, Thanks

Having stayed on the executive suite (extremely good price) with my fiancee and I had an excellent view of the city as half the room was one giant window, the decor was as you'd expect, simple and spacious. we got to see the fog roll down from the mountains in the evening and it was completely soundproof. The bed was a king size cloud, my only critic is that for an executive suite the shower was tiny and in a bathtub, management might want to remove the bathtub and replace it with a wide standing shower, but the bathroom was huge. We had breakfast for the 3 mornings we had which came with a complimentary breakfast of pastry and jam along with a hot buffet of the normals eggs, bacon, tomatoes. As a vegetarian I easily ate here and the chef known as Carl was exceptional and friendly, always up for a laugh and goes the extra mile for you. The hotel location couldn't be better, you're close to 13 cocktail bars and the main shopping district while being far enough away for peace and quiet. Also the hotel is moments from 3 main highway connections making my journey to Pembrokeshire and Hay on Wye really simple. 10/10 would stay again when I need a base before touring the south.
A. K.
Friendly staff, rooms lovely and breakfast....😀
P. O.
Staff were polite and helpful. The room was decorated well and had all the amenities I required. The hotel is in good condition with only a few minor areas that need a bit of tlc including the one lift. Overall a pleasant hotel, though £25.00 to park your car overnight in a very awkward underground car park does seem excessive.
M. W.
It’s quiet and comfortable with an amazing window and view on the higher floors, but the decor is a very tired magnolia and orange- think Linda Barker style on Changing Rooms. Chipped Ikea-esque furniture. Dirty beige carpet. Fraying upholstering and furnishings. Mouldy bathroom ceiling. Only one customer lift working (you can use a grotty service lift... Though as you can imagine, it’s all a bit of a nightmare when you factor in social distancing!)
It’s nothing like what I’ve experienced in other Radissons... and nothing like the welcome video when you switch on the TV in the room.
It was also exceptionally busy and there was a large check in queue.
However the room rate was cheapish and reflected the facilities.
J. S.
Very corporate with little charm. This was not helped by the main lifts being out of order meaning a trip to the higher floors was via the service lift which was accessed via the car park. The room was very beige but of good size and had air con. Bathroom also large and smart with personal toiletries. Breakfast was a buffet with some dishes to order and the food was tasty. Very close to the station and town centre.

Before coming to the Radisson I had mixed reviews from other people stating that it wasn't as good as it used to be and it has become more of a standard chain lacking in the fine details (which is apart of their vision for the Radisson brand). I'd like to say that the welcome, friendliness, the rooms and the corridors were immaculate and the views are spectacular, the size of the room was great as well as the bathroom.
However, there was just a few things that I feel lacked that 'fine detail'. Only 1 sachet of coffee and tea in the room which would be fine for one person but not for a couple. Although, was swiftly rectified once the staff knew and could have easily been a mistake but nevertheless lacking in that fine detail.
Secondly, My king size bed was not a full king-size and was more like a double (which would be fine if I wanted a double bed) Also, the bed was not even a complete bed and instead was 2 single beds stuck together!
Now for a middle class hotel with a world renowned name who focuses on the fine details I'm sure they can afford a full size bed.
However, this hotel is greatly located only a stone's throw from the shopping centre, has parking (although limited), good facilities, is clean and compared to other similar hotels around Cardiff at the time was a reasonable priced. I would stay again, I just hope that I would get a whole bed.
S. G.
The good: when I forgot my wallet in the room, they checked on it and kept it safe. The breakfast is decent.
The bad: only 1 lift working, and it opens on random floors on the way down, which is unacceptable. The key card stopped working twice so I had to take that lift up and down between the reception and the room on 17th floor to enable it. The restaurant got the wrong order delivered to my room, though eventually exchanging it. The next time I wanted to order there was a surcharge of £5 on every meal for no apparent reason. Overall, there's not much feeling of comfort, everything that does work feels generic.
S. W.
Pleasant city hotel with clean rooms and helpful staff. No power showers in our rooms but they still worked enough to get clean after a tough day biking. We stayed here for a visit to Bike Park Wales and there staff were very accommodating with our bikes. Plenty of hand sanitiser and clear social distancing markings. The parking wasn't great, the hotel car park was very full and at peak shopping times the nearest car parks were full too . Hotel is located within easy walk of restaurants and shops and only a 20-25 min walk to the bay area.
c.
Whilst the hotel offers good views of the city, the hotel comes across as tired and in need of some love. Also avoid the car park, it’s extremely small, with small tight spaces, charge £25 for 24 hours which they justify as the same John Lewis. Also the intercom to open the automatic garage is up a steep hill, it doesn’t look like the positioning of it has been thought about. Also the Covid friendly breakfast, especially the continental is disappointing, the cereal on offer was tiny.
K. E.
Booked business class suite and arrived and room on 19th floor had a really strong smell of smoke despite all rooms being non smoking and there being a 250 fine. So very poor first impression. I would recommend they increase the fine significantly so even business customers respect the hotel policy. Hotel staff moved my family and I without issue so no complaints there. Breakfast great.
K. R.
Few problems with check in upon arrival but dealt with by the manager.
Lovely hotel with lovely attentive staff.
D. H.
Stayed here for my anniversary in September, I loved it! They even have us an anniversary platter on arrival to our room which was so nice! Lovely selection in the breakfast buffet, literally caters for everyone. There was some structure work going on but I wouldn't say it was that much of a deterrent, it started & ended at a reasonable time. Lifts go to all floors so there's no worry of hiking all your bags up many flights of stairs. Always greeted with a smile at the reception desk.
E. W.
Very comfortable bed. Pleasant surroundings. Was there for a conference. Hotel had great break-out facilities. Despite 21 floors, the 2 lifts were fast enough to cope. Conference food was good, though they needed to be asked about ingredients for dietary requirements. Surprised they had no gluten-free cereal at breakfast.
J. H.
It was not immaculate if you see the floor, but quite clean and modern. Although there was a guy talking loudly at 7AM during Breakfast, the food was very good. Expected nice view from a high floor but not all rooms have a good view. I could feel there was division line in the middle of the bed, which was not the best experience. I was in 3rd floor and I felt like I was smelling smoke from the ventilation line. Not sure why maybe because there is a restaurant at the 1st floor.
Lovely staff. Nice amenity. Reasonably priced.
M. J.
Comfortable bed. Good room service. Staff were helpful and friendly (5 stars for them). Wet room not well designed - light switch wrong side of door, floor very sloppy and extractor fan didn't work. Not sure if there was a heater in the wetroom but it was cold. Sound insulation in bedroom average.
A. H.
Location is good and rates are reasonable, car park is also available though per day charges are high
E. W.
Spacious, clean and modern rooms. Lovely, attractive bathroom with lovely products included. Knocked it down one star because there isn't enough lifts (only 2) for such a tall building, so in the morning we had to wait ages for the lift to get up and down. Tea/coffee selection and quantity in the rooms could be a bit better too.
J. N.
I recently stayed here during a trip up. What can I say? It was sublime just super absolutely fabulous. The staff were all dolls. Polite and friendly. The facilities were ace. It was so clean that when I dropped my sausage, I picked it back up and proceeded to eat it. In fact I’m sure the carpet seasoned it to perfection. I’ll be back for some more. Thank you - A+ Super Cosmic. Spunk-delicious.

Definitely not what I expected from this chain hotel. City centre location but rooms at side and rear overlook the main railway station. However, not too noisy but could disturb light sleepers. Only one lift in operation at the time of my stay. Ridiculous in a 21 floor building. Trying to access the upper floors at peak times was very difficult. Ended up using the service lift off the kitchens. Room definitely needed some TLC. Lightshades frayed, tea marks over the desk/bedside tables. Doors marked, carpets stained and not hoovered properly. Tear and hole in duvet cover and several badly cracked floor tiles in the bathroom. All these faults made the room feel grubby. Positives include underground parking and very close to shops and eateries.
M. C.
My first visit to Cardiff and also to a Radisson Blu. Donata on reception was wonderful, happy and nothing to much of a problem especially with the high volume of customers she was dealing with, shes an absolute asset to this hotel. Equally Matt on the bar was so welcoming and great to chat to. The interior was lovely maybe a little tired but would definitely stay again due to the amazing staff. Breakfast was 5*. Many thanks to the wonderful staff. Hotel needs to be freshened up but that's all.
J. H.
Nice hotel with lovely rooms. Good breakfast and facilities. The parking was frustrating. For a hotel of 18 floors there are only 20 or so parking spots. Lugging our gear from the shopping centre at 9pm after 4hrs of driving was a bad start. And £25 is a bit steep even if there was a space.
M. W.
Basic but comfortable and clean room with Coffee, tea etc and a safe. Location is excellent at the Southern end of the main shopping area in the city and about a 15 minute walk from the bay. We booked breakfast and it was an excellent buffet style cooked or continental breakfast. The only negative was the long queue for the 1 and only coffee machine.
R. L.
Expensive hotel with little to justify the added price. Busy in reception, room was a little bare but the bathroom was very nice.
Breakfast was nice but not sure it was worth the price.
Location good. Quiet at night. Would happily stay again but only if other, cheaper, options were not available.
Staff were helpful and friendly too.

Ive given this hotel 3 stars because 2 members of staff deserve credit for their customer service. Otherwise the rest of the reception team, including the manager were appalling at their customer service. I have stayed in this hotel twice before in executive rooms, this time booked the junior suite. however I must say, after new management has taken over this hotel, the level of customer service has completely dropped and does not match the previous two times I've stayed. The manager checked us in and had no clue what he was talking about, didn't inform us about the new covid 19 precautions and cleaning processes. The sofa bed in the junior suite wouldn't open, the poor maintenance guy tried so hard to make the bed, his name was Nitesh and instead he bought us another foldable bed which was incredibly kind of him. Nitesh deserves recognition for the level of service he provided, most people wouldn't try a second time to open such a ridiculously jammed sofa bed. And the reception staff were rude, full of attitude, no smile, apart from Katie who is the second member of staff that deserves recognition. Katie was always polite and helped us to get warm milk on time for our little ones. The room itself was good, spacious. The door to the room however kept jamming as well. Only one lift in the hotel. Overall it was ok, but incredibly disappointed with the reception staff, not what I was expecting especially after I had recommended the hotel to my family and taken them along. Below expectations for a Radisson brand.
H. R.
I enjoyed our stay here, the rooms were very comfortable and the location was great, near the city centre.
The hotel has a parking lot for £25 a day, which is about the normal fee for parking in Cardiff. The parking lot is not very big though (about 40-50 cars I think) and the spots are tiny and narrow.
The fitness room isn’t great either.
A. P.
Nice big rooms, clean, smart and well appointed. Friendly staff do their best but they are obviously understaffed, meaning 15 minute wait to check in. Breakfast buffet choices good but huge queues for the tea and coffee machine. Whatever happened to table service?
T. M.
Lovely staff members. The check in (and check out) staff were extremely friendly and courteous. There was a shelf that looked a bit like a sofa underneath the TV for luggage. The rooms are kept clean and tidy. I really like this hotel in fact I've already booked a night in April with my Husband.
M. C.
Staff at reception werent very helpful or friendly... Didn't have our reservation even though we had booked months earlier. When my husband looked at computer screen he had to point out our name on there! Also when we stayed the hotel was under renovation which we had not been informed about. Even so, we ended up having an enjoyable stay here and the rooms were very clean and tidy. Other staff members were friendly too. It's also close to the train station which was a bonus for us.
K. C.
Rooms need updating and descriptions on Web site not accurate. But friendly staff.
D. C.
Our room needed refurbishment and was not worth the money, really.
P. W.
A reasonable view from our top floor room and great welcome. However, the furnishing could have been better in the room and the air conditioning could have been better.
Food was decent in the evening though a poorly labelled desert did not taste as expected. Thankfully the desert was refunded.
Breakfast was ok but a very silly mix up over breakfast where I asked for two poached eggs on toast which somehow became two poached eggs each on toast spoilt another wise reasonable breakfast.
On other concern is that there is still building work going on at the hotel despite this being the case at our last visit 1 year ago.
S. G.
We arrived early at the hotel, but were able to check in straight away which was great. The room on the sixth floor was spacious and cool, which was fab as so many rooms are too hot. Each bedside has a plug socket and USB sockets, plus a nice sized TV. The room overlooks a train line, but it wasn't too loud. Location is fantastic, over the road from John Lewis and then the rest of turn. I would definitely stay here again.
H. V.
Hotel with more potential. It's a fantastic hotel with amazing views of the Cardiff skyline. However, I was not too impressed with the facilities like the gym. I thought that the gym would have a view but didn't. The lack of equipment was very outrageous too. Would recommend, and hopefully see these additions in the future.
L. H.
Went for my 1st wedding anniversary. Got a room upgrade for free which was a nice plus. The view from the room overlooking Cardiff was amazing. Bed was comfy and more than enough room to enjoy a couple of days. Staff were helpful and friendly asking how things were and if we needed anything they were more than willing to sort it
D. J.
We had very nice rooms paid a little more a upgrade.
Include was some free snacks and drinks which was good.
Great views from up high.
Rooms were very clean
Gym was a little small and very hot
Also central to everything
G. H.
The standard guest room was slightly smaller than I expected, but really enjoyed my stay. The staff were professional and helpful and the hotel was clean throughout. Bed was also very comfy, but the shower was a bit lackluster.
S. H.
Nice modern hotel with good facilities, located very near to city center, many cafe, restaurant and shopping mall, far away from slum area.
Large room have bright lighting and many power socket to charge all of our gadgets.
It's recomended that you could book the room including breakfast, since their menu is quite complete and delicious, and there is no cafe near hotel open for breakfast.
S. P.
Taking too much advantage of central location when events are held. Charging £299.00 for a room for 1 night, no breakfast, plus you have to pay parking. Room was fine, staff pleasant. Bar was nice, obviously hotel prices. Understand my choice to stay at this price, and understand uplift for events. Was too greedy praying on captive audience if you have travelled and want to be central to the stadium.
H. B.
Attended a focus group here on 23rd May 2017. Was made to feel welcome and was directed to a sumptuous lunch. Delicious cheeses, cold meats and pasta salads, plus the best bread I've ever had in the UK. The conference room was lovely, great facilities and an excellent layout. Having now been to this hotel, I would be keen to stay as a guest in the future.
T. J.
Stayed here once and it was great. Of late, I’ve been using the first floor bar area as a meeting spot, as Cardiff is a halfway house from home and London. Coffee here is good and staff are extremely well mannered and courteous. The bar area
Is generally quite unmanned as the staff on shift have to do quite a lot. That’s not an issue for me at all but you usually get them very apologetic but honestly, they’ve always been great when I’ve been there.
J. O.
I chose this hotel for its closeness to the concert arena...we could enjoy all the entertainment without the worry of traveling home. This worked out exactly as I had hoped.. Very pleased with our room, all amenities and service.. the bed was to die for..!! Its comfort, size and cleanliness get top marks. At check-in the young lady who welcomed us was polite friendly and truly interested in us "aging rockers"..!! We also managed to park our car at the hotel for £20 we phoned on our way to arrange this. Check out at 12 was great too as we didn't have to rise early after a late night. Will definitely stay here again, in fact will look to stay at other Radisson Blu hotels in the future.
D. G.
Very nice hotel, even more so as we were upgraded to a suite for free. Our room on the 20th floor had impressive views over the city and two 50" TVs, because one just isn't enough. Great location also within walking distance of the Motorpoint Arena, the Principality Stadium and loads of places to eat and drink.
E. R.
Lovely hotel. Nice sized room, with fridge and hospitality tray. Desk and smart TV that connects to your phone. There is free WiFi, and plenty of linen/toiletries There is a bar, however I didn't make use of it or stay long enough for breakfast to comment on it. The staff were friendly and helpful Very nice and would stay again
M. R.
Decent hotel with excellent breakfast Thin walls though, and we were kept awake by noisy neighbours on our first night. Staff were good though to intervene to ask them to be quiet (it was 2am) but there's only so much that can be done. Overall recommended though.
D. H.
We had a room with a city view which was nice. Parking is tight but reasonably priced. I would recommend upgrading to the business class option of you can take advantage of the free drinks and nibbles made available. Breakfast was good a great variety of food to choose from. The coffee machine is slow.
J. M.
Really nice hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are clean and well maintained with a decent TV system in the rooms that you can stream your own movies to.
B. G.
Stayed here last year in the business class room. The hotel is idealy situated close to Cardiff central and the St Davids centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean with a really comfy bed. The view around the Cardiff. The bar was good though only served half pints of ale. The breakfast in the morning was amazing. Only thing was there are two lifts and there can be a bit of a wait, especially if you got suitcases. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and would stay again.
C. S.
The Radisson is your average business style hotel with clean rooms and all the basics you’ll need. The room was spacious but it lacked any additional luxuries, including a dressing gown! It’s locates a short walk from the train station so very convenient to get to.
M. L.
This was in a nice location for food and shopping. However the pillows had no substance and seemed to be made of air and they had no top sheet on the bed only the comforter which didn't seem that sanitary unless they wash them every time they change them. No complaints on hotel food. Also has a fitness and business center. WiFi worked well. Edit: so apparently the whole no top sheet thing is normal. I can only hope that they wash the comforter thing for each guest.
E. T.
It's walking distance from the train station.
Beautiful hotel. Very nice decor.
Went there for a Conference. We were very well looked after & entertained in the evening.
Food was great couldn't fault it at all. Which we had lunch on arrival. Lots of snacks with a variety of hot & cold drinks through out the day. 3 course meal later in the evening, breakfast the next following morning & a good variety of pack lunch to set us on our long journey home. Staff were very helpful, smart & polite.
My room was on the 16th floor. Spacious, clean, lots of furniture, good size room plus bathroom. Very stylish.
The reason I gave 4 stars was because for a big busy hotel, with me with alot of people at a conference checking in, there was only 2 lifts which goes all the way up to 21 floors, so we had to wait in turn. Once we did get a lift it moved quickly to each floor.
Overall very highly recommended.
Thank you to all the staff for their hard work in all areas who worked on the 12th & 13th November 2019.
R. G.
A lovely hotel in an easy access part of Cardiff. Right next to the shops and many restaurants. The staff were helpful and the room was great, full of kit and had a great view to boot. The bed was extremely comfortable but the pillows were far too soft though. Recommended for a luxury stay in the city!
R.
Great size room with quality fixtures & fittings. Bed one of the comfiest we've ever had! Superking size. 15th floor, nice Cardiff city vistas & superb food in the Collage restaurant downstairs. Staff helpful & informative & friendly.
T. E.
We had a nice night in the hotel. We wanted to go to the cinema but where we live it's easier to book a night in a hotel. We decided to give Radisson Blu a try. The checking in procedure was quick and efficient. The room was spacious clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and is cheaper if you order it when you check in. All in all it was very nice the staff friendly and helpful and we will definitely be back. 100% recommended!
N. K. R.
The stay was good but nothing great. Felt that there wasn't much of a difference between a holiday inn stay and a Radisson stay while the price difference was pretty substantial. Good location but expensive parking. Although the rooms were advertised to have one of biggest in the city with 24 sq m it doesn't have a spacious look. The twin beds were no where near big although soft and bouncy. Service replaced the same linen as we had used them earlier but neatly folded. The only good thing worth was the breakfast. Very good selection of food all well prepared. As a summary it never had the edge it had advertised as one of the best 4 starred hotels.
T. M.
Ideal location for the city centre and concert at the Motorpoint. Stayed on 6th floor and room was lovely. Shower over bath and nice toiletries and a tissue box. The waiting staff is very courteous and extremely helpful. We loved it that much that we are going go every year for our anniversary.
a. a.
I stayed there for a week, it was really an amazing experience. Everything went well. One bad thing: They charged me 50 Pounds as authorization charges which are not still refunded, it's a very bad thing. Hotel was great with all excellent & modern facilities, great food, amazing and helpful staff. Perfect !
J. H.
Great hotel. Fantastic views over Cardiff from the higher floors. Lovely breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. Soft comfortable beds. What's not to like. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.
A. F.
Standard chain hotel in reasonable location close to the city and station. On-site parking is a bonus if that's important to you. Yes, the train line is very close but unobtrusive. Views can be mediocre (if you're facing the trainline) or excellent (if your room faces the city).

Very good City Centre location just opposite John Lewis. There is some external refurbishment taking place which we were not made aware of before our visit but there was very little disruption. The room was very clean with a comfortable but quite low bed and a big bathroom compared to other hotels in the city! The staff were all very helpful and friendly. I would recommend a stay there.

Nice hotel, very good breakfast. Good room size, friendly service at the bar. Power shower was excellent. Was questioned in regards to if I had a passport or if I was a UK citizen at check in. Not sure why. Probably because of my name.
B. M.
Was disappointed that their car parking was - in fact - across the road in the public car park and no help was offered to us with carrying our suitcases across the busy road. We expected better! The location was also not all that central

Very nice hotel, great location, big room really I enjoyed staying there and I recommend it you will enjoy your room with easy access to city center and near the train station

Stayed here for my boyfriend's birthday. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade due to my status with Radisson Rewards. In the booking notes I mentioned that we were staying for the birthday and they left the cute message on a plate with some biscuits. A nice touch which got me some brownie points! The room itself was comfortable and the shower and bathroom adequate. The breakfast had a good selection of food to satisfy most tastes. Great location in Cardiff. I would recommend staying here.

Lovely rooms brilliant service.

This hotel was great for a one night stay during the week when you can get a deal but if you want to add a couple of nights over a Saturday night think again because the price is extortionate for a room only. Also limited parking means virtually none as there are only 45 spaces and parking across the road in the John Lewis car park cost £20 overnight. The location was perfect with eating places and shopping on the doorstep.

We booked in to stay overnight with breakfast and added a night with their Lazy Sunday deal. We get to stay in the same room to save any stress of checking in again and changing rooms. The breakfast was perfect thus morning. We could pick and choose what ever written wanted and as much as we liked. There was an immense amount of choice. The location is perfect with the main shopping and eating streets just a stones throw away. So close we could actually throw a stone to John lewis' back door! But we wouldn't! We haven't finished our stay yet so I can't comment on the lazy Sunday brunch which is included and delivered to our room but we definitely would recommend it as late check out is 5pm! Perfect to recharge your batteries or grab a spot of shopping in before you have to leave! Lovely staff, great atmosphere and would definitely stay here again
L. F.
The worse booking in experience I've ever had. We waited 25 mins to check in. Our room was extremely basic, the floor looked as if it hadn't been cleaned for weeks. No magnifying mirror in bathroom. Won't rush to stay here again.....
T. M.
The staff were fantastic with the children. A good start as I was upgraded to a Business room. Breakfast is sumptuous and there is a wide choice of a fully blown English breakfast and continental. Would recommend the R/Blu for a city break/concert/shopping experience so close to everything you could walk everywhere.

We just spent 4 nights in Radisson Bly Cardiff the beds and room were really clean and very comfortable . Excellent buffet breakfast, tremendous choice .centrally situated , friendly helpful staff. But most outstanding were the head chef ,the kitchen and front of house staff. My elderly Aunt has dietary problems and needs most of her food to be blended, everyone we dealt with bent over backwards to accommodate her needs and made it seem their pleasure to help. It’s hard to find words of comenation that will describe how grateful we felt , thank you . All of the staff members at Cardiff Radisson Blu treat their guests with respect and kindness , a rare thing in today’s world .

After enjoying our stay at the beginning of the year we decided to book a long weekend here at the end of November. I booked a business class room and I would have to say that it was well worth the extra. The room was clean with nearly floor to ceiling windows.
K. H.
Nice stay. Nice, spacious room. We asked for extra bedding at time of booking for our daughter-as she preferes to sleep on an extra duvet than camp bed, but they kept forgetting. We were not told the restaurant is closed, so dinner can only be served in the bar. Which is pitty, BUT the food made up for it, was Delicious! Also very impressed with breakfast! Everything you can dream off! 😍😲 Loved the little "bar" near reception...cookie jar, fruit ball, jug of citrus flavoured water. 😋 And how they try to be eco friendly, also the hidden/clever clothe line in bathroom. Truly impressed. The hotel is only few minutes walk from city centre, also to the castle so not tiring for a young child to walk. Oh yes, and despite being literally next to the multi railway lines, no trouble with noise (ok, we were on floor 15, but well soundproofed). So, overall we enjoyed our stay. The one and only thing as mentioned above, if restaurant is closed at dinner time, I suggest tell guests at check in or if closed for days, then even before!!!!! Thank You!
K. F.
Nice hotel, very close to the train station. Well priced room with a fantastic bed and bathroom. Found the room a little cold though, and the air con heating seemed to do nothing. No main light in the rooms either, the lamp lighting is cost but, I would like a bit more! Overall great hotel
A. B.
Have stayed here a few times . Always very good and accommodating. They are undergoing renovations or I would give 5 stars . It's not really been a problem though. Extremely central and very comfortable bed
T. M.
Staff were friebdlynand location was excellent. We didn't have any meals in the restaurant but had a drink in the bar which was nice. There was a good range of cooked foods with good quality sausages (Linconshire I believe) and nice thick rashers of bacon. The staff are brilliant and a credit to hotel.
I. A.
Most the staff are very pleasant and welcoming, very courteous and polite. Good location, right in the City Centre. The carpark is charged at £20 per day and is very small and cramped, if you're not a skilled driver don't attempt to go in. The rooms are beautifully furnished and spacious, contemporary tiledbathroom- however water pressure is just about acceptable on the shower heads, ive had better. The temperature isn't quick to adjust on the thermostat and 21 felt like 15. If you overlook all the little niggly things its a wonderful value for money 4* stay.
C. M. G.
Overall great stay. Business class upgrade was well worth it, offering a room with a view, complimentary drinks and nibbles plus a first class breakfast including a la carte options. The service from the Romanian barman was exceptional- he is an asset to the hotel.
Fantastic location, although no onsite parking was available although mentioned at booking and recommended options which were 20 quid a night, although we found NCP parking nearby at half the price.
In terms of potential improvements: the carpet was disgusting and in need of upgrade and there was a damp stench in the hallway. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were like quick sand and sucked in your head causing neck discomfort. Also the hotel was unapologetically out of umbrellas which was disappointing.
N. E.
Had a lovely stay. Everything from start to finish was excellent ... quick and easy check in and parking, room was clean, comfy and spacious. Staff very friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

I have been in Radisson blue Cardiff, several times. I rate this Hotel as a very good hotel and an accurate service also. But yesterday i had a little incident: When asking for a taxi with credit card, the explicit answer was: the taxi company we use, has no credit card as a payement system. I had not cash and was a problem for me, because i required the taxi at 4:30 AM.
T. A.
Far too expensive at £179 for double room B&B! Won't be getting my business again in a hurry! Sorry.
J. S.
So disappointed with our stay this weekend. When we first arrived, it took us over half an hour to check in. Then when got to our room, it definitely wasn't one of the nicest rooms or view. Very dated & needs a revamp.
N. E.
Very clean and comfortable. Staff excellent. However only one lift working when we were there, so queueing. Breakfast could have been warmer. But would go there again.
S. H.
Great location, well presented hotel, rooms spacious & clean but the big negative for me were the parking charges, these should be included in the price of the stay for a hotel of this standard! Following our departure & check out, I discovered that I had left an article of clothing in the wardrobe of the hotel room. Thinking this would not be a problem as the cleaner would find it & hand it to lost property & it would be returned to me .... how wrong was I. I telephoned the housekeeper & explained what had happened & said she would look into it & telephone me of her findings. She explained that nothing had been handed in, so I asked to speak to the Duty Manager & expressed my disappointment that they were not prepared to investigate it further & to be told that there was nothing that could be done & if I thought there had been a theft of my property then I would have to report it to the Police. I responded by stating that I thought the Police had far too many other incidents to deal with & I wouldn't want to bother them with a petty theft. Shame on you Radisson Blu Cardiff & the dishonest people you employ!
L. B.
Professional staff, good calibre of rooms, food and function suites. I couldn't comment on location as I barely left the site but I was than happy within the confines of the hotel for my brief stay! I would say that it's very closely located to the train station but with good sound insulation.

We stayed one night here on a Saturday night and there was some renovation work going on. We requested a high floor room for extra money as an upgrade before travelling, but none were available on arrival, which happens on a busy night. On arrival to the room, the window was completely covered with scaffolding making the room very claustrophobic. There was a note in the room saying that work would be carried out Mon-Fri from 9 AM so we decided to stay. At 8 AM on Sunday morning scaffolders started working outside the window dropping scaffolding poles and looking in. We complained at reception and were told: "sorry, we hope you come back another time". I emailed customer services saying that I thought this was unacceptable and they offered a free night to return. A month later I asked to use the free night and have still had no reply. I emailed central customer services and they said - contact the hotel directly/ Sorry Radisson, but I spend thousands with you each year for personal and business and I don't expect to be given the runaround. The free night was clearly offered in the hope it would never be used but to prevent a bad review.
EDIT Jan 2018: Following the comments here the hotel did reach out and provide a refund of my loyalty points. I have increased the star rating from 1-3 in light of this.

Beautiful conference rooms. Very smart hotel. Not very good service in the restaurant though, couldn't cope with multiple groups although they were given breakout times.

I normally stay at the nearby Marriott but fall back to the Radisson when it's full. I should add that accommodation is paid for by my employer at a discount corporate rate.
The hotel is nicely decorated and has a much more modern feel than its competitor with nicely air conditioned rooms that have basic facilities for making hot beverages, ironing and a small but functional safe that can be secured using a PIN or swiped credit card. The beds are comfortable queen size and only 2 pillows are laid out but more are in the wardrobe if needed. Lighting in general is poor and dim but flexible reading lights are present on both sides of the bed and all main room lights can be controlled from bed. The curtains are very effective at keeping the room dark. Reasonable but not generous storage space is provided. The bathrooms are very nicely decorated and well equipped with lots of towels, flannels and toiletries. WiFi is included and is fast enough to stream videos using Netflix or Amazon.
On the downside, the TV is a very small 28 inch affair and unlike the Marriott there's no access to a HDMI port to connect a laptop or tablet. Parking is extremely limited and you'll be lucky to get a space. Staff are helpful and efficient but it doesn't have the same feel of personal service you get from the nearby Marriott. The hotel is very clean but the corridors are treated with something that leaves an odd odour somewhere between curry and new car smell and it's not pleasant. At the time of writing the hotel is undergoing work on the exterior so you'll be treated to a view of scaffolding from the rooms on lower floors.
Unlike the Marriott you don't get a free daily biscuit.
T. D.
Clean rooms and friendly staff, great breakfasts.
C. B.
Upgraded to a business class room which was great! Fire alarm went off in the morning, walked down 13 flights of stairs to be told all was fine and we could now go back to our rooms. Would definitely stay again :)
B. F.
A bit run down (check the half finished plaster work in the ceiling of the bar and the one lift that is broken down) rooms are good. Food and bar needs some work, more junior members of staff dont seem to have the proper training like not knowing how to work the till and there is a lack of qaulity generally - flat preseco and sodawater for instance. Staff seem to be doing the best they can, but upper management of the place seem to be trading on the brand and have left the place go to the seed
O. H.
Nice business class room. Free drinks 6-8 much appreciated. Stunning views of the city from the 21st floor. Shame coffee machine didn't work in the morning.
K. D.
Amazingly kind and helpful staff. Lovely room they sorted us out with as it was for a special occasion. Nice little plate of biscuits and cakes too due to their kindness to make it special and with a decent view
G. P.
I stayed at the Radisson Blue Hotel Cardiff for a college reunion. The room was comfortable and the staff were pleasant and efficient. The evening meal was a Mediterranean buffet, the food was delicious.
It was unfortunate that I arrived there on a Saturday afternoon when the traffic was very heavy and the hotel car park was full and therefore I had to use a nearby car park.
T. M.
The hotel is located in a central position to get around Cardiff city. On checking out, the staff even allowed us to leave the car in the hotel while we did some last minute shopping which was very helpful as it saved us parking in the …
D. T.
Nice room size. Roomy bath room. Very comfortable. But dont eat here. Loads of great eateries over the road. The cost of breakfast is an abuse in the hotel, it would get questioned on expenses. Hard to imagine how it is justified but is designed so you dont use it. Huge parking shortage so outragosly priced even if available, NCP is 2min walk away. However, thisvis good for a city break as you are in the middle of every thing.
T. M.
We booked our trip at short notice and got a special deal so we were a little apprehensive about what the hotel might be like. I have stayed elsewhere where this has been an option and it has been worth every penny. We found this …

Located about five minutes walking distance from Cardiff Central station and queen Street station. Stayed three nights on a business trip. Room is spacious and has a really comfortable bed. Much better than your average hotel bed. Has a decent breakfast served in the morning including full English, continental and healthy options.
Now the bad parts, walls of the rooms are so thin, you can hear the people in the next room.
Air con was making wierd noices at random time intervals. Minor inconvenience but if you are light sleeper you will wakeup multiple times at night.
In summary liked the hotel and will be back
D. B.
This is a great hotel with one major letdown.
I stayed here for a work meeting. The hotel was nice the staff polite and the rooms clean. Restaurant/bar did some good food all in all was very nice. I have removed 2 stars due to the parking situation, it cost around £20 per 24h to park at the hotel, which is always full so you have to park in public car parks that cost even more. Parking should be included in the room which was not cheap. I dont mind parking in public places but the hotel should get some arrangement with the local areas so you can park there for free/cheaper rates. Easy 4 star if the parking was better.
I. D.
All in all my experience of this hotel? I'd have to say it was OK, on the better side of OK you know like 'Friends' before they all started getting more wealthy and less funny!! Though although its a swish building and lush lobby all things being equal (except the lush lobby!!) it is nothing to write home about really.
Though if you have to find your (very soon to be ex) boyfriend cheating then I guess this hotel is as good a place as any to do so. The staff are nice and supportive the vodka is plentiful and there is always someone coming or going in the centre of Cardiff so well situated if your fancy a sorbet at 4AM (clears the palate and all that!).
R. S.
It's a perfectly decent hotel that would meet most peoples needs. The check-in though was painfully slow. Only one person manning the desks with lots of people waiting. Annoying.
K. G.
First Receptionist not too helpful. Stayed a few times so expect better welcome. Didn't ring with wake up call. Changed room which was better. Good hotel. Great position. Great breakfast.
T. M.
Good location at the bottom of St Mary's St directly opposite the new John Lewis. The quality and service of the drinks certainly don't reflect in the price, although it was nice to have a decent selection of gins available. We ate in the hotel on Saturday night and very good food at reasonable prices. The service is out of this world.
m.
Standard rooms are a good size as us the en suite bathroom. Mirror in bathroom has a heated section so can still make use of it after hot shower. Bar and restraunt also good, the vegi curry is very good - but menu is a tad over priced. Breakfast is a buffet style but will make some items eg omlets to order.
T. M.
Decent quality hotel and well positioned for central Cardiff including the station. I called through to the restaurant to book beforehand and and they said that was fine, as well as mentioning it when I arrived. For the price this was money well spent The breakfast is good with a great selection.
T. M.
The appointed room was on the 14th floor and clean and quiet with no noticeable noise from the nearby railway line. For dinner, if near the hotel, we highly recommend Indonesian Malyasian restaurant called 'Bali' in Brewery Quarter. We …

Decided on the Radisson Blu having stayed here a few times previously and had a good experience. The room had all amenities you needed and it was truly like a home from home. Having read reviews of parking we ended up parking overnight in the John Lewis car park across the street which ended up costing £12 for 17-18 hours.
C. P.
The rooms were extremely spacious with a big comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. It was very clean and close to the city’s big shopping centres. The only downside is the parking which is very small and we felt expensive.
t. w.
Very efficiant and professional. The bed was very comfortable, the room was large and well organised. There was a full sized bath with a shower over. Parked the car in the underground John Lewis car park. It cost 20 quid for 24 hours. A word of caution they lock the car park over night and you will struggle to get access before 9.30 the following morning. Interesting view from the 9th floor.
T. M.
Location is easy walk to Cardiff Arms Park and the Millennium stadium. Room Room was lovely. Breakfast was good and the option that you could get it delivered to your room for free was a perk. Bed is brilliant. Be aware that parking is very limited and cannot be booked in advance.
J. C. C.
Friendly service, a shame was not notified about construction work until I had checked in and in my room. Noise would have been an issue if I wanted a lie in. This was a business trip and I could not believe the room was supplied with a very poor plate iron no steam or spray which meant an eternity was needed to iron my shirt.
S. F.
Some of the best disabled accessible rooms I've been in. Enough space to get my mobility scooter in and the beds are particularly comfortable with what I think are memory foam toppers.
B. E.
Staff are helpful and friendly. The facilities are clean and above standard. This is our third stay here, and we've been more than happy every time. A lovely hotel.
D. S.
Very comfortable beds.
Good breakfast.
TV in room kept losing signal, so dropped a star.
Great location straight over road from John Lewis and St David's Center.
C. H.
We were in upgraded to a room on the 21st floor with panoramic views over the city. Room was very comfortable and stylish. Breakfast was to a high standard with plenty of choice. Marvellous.
R. S.
Nice, clean hotel in good location. Bar prices dear but very close to city nightlife. Only negative, I didn't like the bathroom. The sink was tiny, the wall mounted toilet creaked when sat on and you could feel the bathtub flexing under your feet when using the shower.
P. t.
Great location. Fantastic bar and restaurant. Lovely breakfast and staff. The rooms we got were not very good for an expensive hotel. They need modernising. Ripped settee.worn out carpets.broken sockets.blocked sinks.Ive stayed in cheaper hotels with better rooms.
S. W.
On arrival it was obviously undergoing an external facelift. The reception was clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Although not disabled i was put in a wheelchair friendly room which meant no bath but wouldnt of used it anyway. Id say not a scenic view but from where it is was a good view. The room was clean and bed comfy. The breakfast was one of the best ive had in hotel and buffet style but items still fresh. Bean to cup coffee and freshly squeezd orange juice. The staff there are so friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is so close to the center of Cardiff and within walking distance. If you want to go to Cardiff Bay (recommended) then need taxi or car but i think there is a boat that can take you. Overall i would stay there again.
A. D.
Judith the lady at reception was very helpful and polite and made our stay extra special. The rooms are great value for money and we had an exceptional view over Cardiff on the 20th floor. Very impressed.
V. P.
Horrible experience service zero no bottle of water telephone is in room but you ring emergency no no one picked up went to reception to complaint reply we are busy.Check in service not efficient in my view.
B. K. (. S.
Used the Radisson Blu today for a business meeting and can highly recommend it. Nothing was too much trouble for Sales Director Anne Miles and our server at lunch Jack went that extra mile to make sure we were all catered for. Excellent service and highly recommended.
S. M.
Great hotel.
Great location.
Great food.
Good rooms..
Clean.
Easy access from station.
Car parking problematic.
One of the better hotels in Cardiff city centre.
Always a pleasuable visit.
R. D.
I love rugby. I love Cardiff and I've always preferred the Radisson Blu Hotel Cardiff, but.......it's only little things that spoil my stay this time. First I was given the wrong room number much to the horror of some poor girl I surprised. But then I've been given a room more suited to a disabled person, which makes me feel awkward as fortunately I am able-bodied. Better luck next time, eh?
M. M. -. D.
Attended a professional learning event for my Masters degree. Conference rooms were well stocked in case you'd frgotten anything, and they were nice and clean too. Food was lovely, as usual, and the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming.
N. V.
Attended the Coeliac UK free from food show .The parts of the hotel I saw were clean and tastefully decorated, the staff attentive and polite . I cannot really comment on the accommodation as this was a one day function only .
A. W.
We were there for a conference. It was ok. Couldn't get the conference room to a proper temperature. Either too hot or cold. But the food was good. Lots of staff eager to help as well.
p. b.
I did ask for a room high up away from an elevator ..well they got half of it right.bumps slams and loud guests kept me awake with shouting but that's not raddisons fault.rooms spotlessly clean with tiny body wash bottles long emptied before you finish.
My most critical bit is for the restaurant welcomed by staff whose foreign accents are so strong I had to ask three times if I could sit somewhere.the staff their poured over the business class diners and left the rest of us.that's cool I'm perfectly capable of getting my own breakfast tho couldn't get scrambled eggs as they were all over the business class.the head staff there was dressed in what looked like an Adidas tracksuit with stripes and trainers.fried eggs were still transparent in middle not cooked well enough and it was juice with bits or not at all but perhaps that's a bit too critical.good value but spoiled by poor breakfast and noise at night which is unacceptable to me up at 5am
C. T.
Great check-in, clean room. We chose to upgrade to a business class room and were not disappointed. The view of Cardiff from the 21st floor was brilliant. Definitely recommended.
J. S.
Hotel is under renovation but so far it doesn't seem be a big source of noise. My room overlooks the train tracks but I don't here the trains. Tesco is close, the Cardiff Castle is close, and there are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The breakfast buffet is nice and what would be expected of a hotel catering to international visitors.
L.
Lovely hotel in a central spot.
On the night there was a problem with the bar service. Several of our party could not order drinks, but others who appeared NOT to be residents had 'vouchers' and could be served ???
R. S.
If you book online, breakfast is £17 but if you book at reception it's £5 cheaper and it's a very good breakfast. Rooms great, service great, only two lifts so you can wait a long time for a lift at peak times.
S. 2.
This did not meet Raddisson BLU standards , stains on the wall and carpet. The two luxuries were the toilets in the room and that I had a view of the pacer since I'm an trains are my passion
S. K.
Good sized room and nicely fitted bathroom but stained carpets were a let down. Expensive parking at £20 per night. Breakfast was good and staff were very polite.
p. a.
Good facilities great central location
M. N.
Nice clean and spacious room. Only something small but sink plug didn't work properly, but reported and was very apologetic. Would stay there again.
G. J.
Great breakfast and a clean hotel ideally placed if you want to see Cardiff centre by foot and Cardiff bay just a slightly longer but easily manageable walk. Car parking is in the John Lewis car park directly opposite the hotel. The only downside was the time that it takes waiting for the lifts. Hence only 4 stars.
J.
Great views (however had to request to be moved to a new room to access them - staff more than helpful that being said!)
If you want affordable luxury, this is definitely the place to go!
T. M.
Carlos who was waiting on tables when I dined was very good and very personable. The sausages (always a good indicator of breakfast standards) were gorgeous and did not leave you feeling like you had eaten a tray of salt. Will definitely stay here again on my return trips to Cardiff.
S. C.
Great rooms. Very clean. The only problem was I asked for 2 single beds got one double so had to have a mattress on the floor for one of us. :(
J. S.
Fantastic stay. Lovely staff, great value for money. Will stay there again. One downfall drinks a bit pricey
W. S.
Great location to restaurants pubs and shops. Pity about the building work. No driveway entrance to hotel itself. Parking available a bit pricey but comparable to other carparks. Also ask for exit code and a reserved notice for your lot.
K. U.
Lovely hotel in a great location. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the people at reception were friendly and quick. I would highly recommend this hotel.
l. m.
I was at the hotel for a training course. The meeting room was large and well kept. The staff were also really helpful and the complimentary refreshments were brilliant.
J. E.
Excellent position for the centre of Cardiff, staff were friendly and the room was very good, the only downside was parking, I was aware that space in the hotel car park was limited and was full when I arrived so went to the John Lewis car park opposite, the sign said it also was full but found a space easily enough. I would use public transport if I visit Cardiff in the future.
R. S.
Was at the Radisson Blu for a training session, meeting rooms were great, felt large, lots of light, remained good temperature all day. Lunch was very tasty and there was plenty of it too and there was always refreshments available whenever needed in the breakout area.
C. R.
Big comfortable rooms. Great location as very close to train station and city centre, but still quiet. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great
G. C.
Fantastic to place to hold a business conference. We'll laid out, professional and all the tools you need to impress your clients. Refreshments and food were outstanding. Would definately hold a conference here again.
P. C.
Average room, odd layout, no plugs or light near the mirror for someone to get ready. 1 lift broken out of 2, had to use stairs. Curtains hanging off one end. Could do with a bit if atte ton to detail.
J. A.
Hotel was good, and comfortable, but not special. Parking was quite expensive on site. Staff were very friendly. Location is good, around 100m to the centre of Cardiff.
R. W.
Great Staff, nice meals, lovely and clean rooms. Restraunt was a bit hot for my liking but had a really nice stay for a week. Would recommend.
S. B.
Bang in the middle of cardiff, everything in the room worked , great views. Not the cheapest and some of the room decor is a little tired. Very helpful and professional staff.
M. B.
Centrally located so close to transport links and shopping and entertainment areas .Rooms were clean modern and functional and a nice size. Breakfast was really good and worth it .Would definitely recommend it and we would stay here again
K.
Super comfy and amazing views
D. G.
Had a Christmas party last night all the staff were brilliant, enthusiastic nothing was a problem well done , down side the dinner was so so , turkey very dry, and the breakfast was standard could honestly get better from roadside cafe, but this still did not tarnish an excellent night cheers everyone.
T. M.
There is a wall mounted TV which is at a pleasant height not to give you a crick in the neck when viewed form bed. Upon checking in we discovered that the rate was even lower than we had thought at only £50.15 a night. It's about 10 mins walk from Central Station. Good job Radisson.
G. T.
Nice clean room with a lovely bathroom. Good location. Only problem was it got quite warm in the room at night. It was warm outside though
J. H.
Rather soulless if you ask me. Whoever set the bar and food prices was clearly deluded. Now where's the nearest McD's? Back two years on and bar prices are now more than London Hotels. Even better....after explaining my feather allergy at 4pm, I have returned to sleep only to find 2 feather quilts on my bed!
v. g.
The hotel is conveniently close to many attractions and commercial outlets. All hotel rooms are comfortable, spacious with all amenities.Dining room staff helpful and courteous. .Only setback is the lack of variety of food present at dinner.
S. D.
Excellent service, arrived early(12pm) to drop off cases & a room was available & we could check in immediately, room was also clean, great views over Cardiff, & choice of pillows.
A. H.
Outstanding. Stayed in a business class room. The complementary drinks in the lounge were great, and I have to say this hotel had the best hotel buffet breakfast I've ever seen!
T. W.
Beautiful rooms and very good customer service. Breakfast is good quality with lots of choice. Location is very good for accessing anywhere in the city centre
G. T.
Good location, average room quality, over inflated drink prices and service charge added on top, £6.50 pint Heineken, £6.00 bottled cider £1.15 service charge at the bar, won't return in a hurry.
S. M.
The hotel was lovely and staff friendly but the standard room was not what we expected and looked nothng like photos on tve site but it was a lovely time spent
s. i.
Service was very good, haven't tried they breakfast so don't know how good they are. 1 star down because the bath and basin haven't been cleaned otherwise they will be 5 star rating.
D. a. M. B.
Good size rooms and good view of the city from the higher floors, quality breakfast (good sausage and bacon). Ideal location to walk into the shopping center or to walk to the harbour
j. m.
Hotel conference room was well equipped and food provided was of a very high standard , the only point I would make was that the room was quite warm and there was no air conditioning ,
D. S.
This hotel really outdid expectations, great sized room with a massive bathroom and a flat screen TV mounted on the wall. With a great view would definitely revist.
B. R.
Good sized room, clean, great location for Motor point and Train Station and city centre... Albeit a little expensive.
L. G.
I enjoyed this hotel, its very central with parking, the staff were friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good quality and reasonable prices.
T. G.
Very close to Cardiff Motorpoint arena and the city centre. Around half an hour walk from Cardiff Bay. Close to bus and train station. And most importantly - great facilities, lovely rooms - food and drink all good. A nice bunch of people people working there too.
T. J.
Visited during a recent conference. Food, facilities, venue and rooms were all fantastic and there was no need to leave the hotel during the conference.
S. P.
Parking was limited, there were only a few spaces for guests or those attending conferences. I was directed to park in the NCP opposite the hotel. Parking was expensive and increased dramatically after a certain number of hours which may be OK if staying at the hotel as a guest as rates may be different for paying guests.
J. M.
Brilliant stay and very friendly staff
S. L.
Good value, good food, great staff. Unfortunately still only 1 working lift and car parking a little pricey. Otherwise, all good.
G. D.
Great location, fantastic view, fab food, great service and helpful staff. Conference facilities are the best in Cardiff too !
And the pillows are the most comfortable I've ever slept on ! :-)
M. L.
A great room for the price. Nice to have an empty fridge in the room. Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Great location.
M. P.
Serviceable hotel but the price was a bit steep for what it is. Edit:-ppn is 179 which is luxury pricing, value / price is out of sync but appreciate response from venue. Photos added 09/06/17

Took a group there, some rooms OK but lifts dreadfully slow and only two. Some people waited 15 minutes to get down! Beds really soft.
A. A.
Nice location and clean rooms
G. K.
Nice room, amazing views of Cardiff. But despite paying for a suite, there were quite a few issues with the room.
E. R.
Went for training. Very nice inside. Great lunch. Drinks are expensive. Some staff looked like they really didn't want to be at work...
S.
Generally speaking the RB is a good hotel in all places I've been in UK.
The one in Cardiff reflect the good standard room, nice breakfast (fresh juice, salmon, vegetables) and good restaurant. Location is very central, then to go the Cardiff bay is only 30mins walking
o.
Nice hotel, but not as nice as other radisson blu hotels I've stayed in. The room had empty toiletries in the bathroom which was a bit disappointing but other than that, the room was spotless and comfortable and I would stay here again.
D. B.
Absolutely fantastic hospitality, staff were friendly and happy to help and the room was lovely, clean and didn't feel worn out. Loads of choice at breakfast and the city centre is just over the road.
M. H.
TV not working in rooms. No aircon in restaurants for breakfast and expensive parking. Rooms were clean and tidy.
F. B.
The hotel was in ammaculate condition with staff very friendly. Had everything u could ask more and beds were very comfy.
D. M.
Lovely hotel, good central location, next to train station, comfy beds and very clean throughout!

What a pleasure to stay at this amazingly run hotel staff were so. Well mannered and polite and helpful made my first wedding anniversary so special thank you
B. C.
Lovely hotel, easy check-in and comfortable rooms/beds. Losing points for its extortionate prices. £390 for two nights is ludicrous.
F. D.
Poor parking ,should have had breakfast for 9 as we were leaving at 10,breakfast arrived at 2 minutes to 10 which i refused and only 1 chair for 2 people to sit on discusstingl
K. P.
Nice room. Working on outside of hotel but didn't affect at all. Good breakfast selection
P. J.
Large group (78) of us, great buffet, good service, excellent rooms and friendly staff. Have been here twice and will use again.
B. j.
Nice hotel, needlessly charges staying guests for parking though. Only smoking area is out in the street. Rooms well kept, bar very friendly and open. Staff very helpful.
C. M.
Very handily located near central train station , and walking distance to the castle quarter / all the restaurantsabd bars in the centre of town. Comfortable bed and nice clean room.
S. O.
Lovely place to stay. Comfy bed and the best tv I've experienced in a hotel
H. P.
Stunning hotel. Very nice decor inside the rooms. There were a couple of little things that needed to be looked at cosmetically but overall fantastic service and rooms
Ø. H.
Nice hotel, nice and serviceminded personell. Good brekfast bufet, room with big and comfy bed, nice bathroom. Minus: carpet flooring. Have not tried the restaurant.
B.
Nice hotel room. twin room was quite spacious and the room was quite clean and well maintained. Nothing to complain about really.
C. W.
Good views. Modern rooms. Close to train station. Service was very prompt and polite throughout.
J. R.
Alright place, nice location, terrible carpark, too few elevators for such a large building, so they were constantly stopping and have a really annoying voiceover. The construction however wasn't really an issue though, so that was nice.
L. C.
Lovely hotel good place to stay in close proximity to the city and all the shops and restaurants very friendly staff xxx
M. D.
Very nice for its price. The breakfast amazing. The view and the quality of the rooms very good. I recommend it.
e. m.
Fantastic stay lovely views
K. P.
Rooms are great. Lighting is a bit of an issue at night as there is limited ceiling light. Beds are great and comfortable.
R. B.
Very central to Cardiff. Clean rooms and luxurious. Good bar on the 1st floor and a dance floor for functions. Reasonably good price
B. H.
I wouldn't stay no where else in cardiff. This is a truely amazing hotel they can't do enough for you. Highly recommend ❤️
R. S.
Was at the Radisson Blu for a training session, meeting rooms were great, felt large, lots of light, remained good temperature all day. Lunch was very tasty and there was plenty of it too and there was always refreshments available whenever needed in the breakout area.
Y. J.
Good service, view and amenities but the 2am fire alarm with zero communication afterwards ruined it.
R. S.
Nice upgraded room with a view of the city. Nice in room gifts too. Would stay again. :)
J. B.
Lovely hotel, lovely staff. Bed nice and comfy, lovely little valentine's gesture too
C. O.
Great hotel! The room was tasteful and comfortable and breakfast was really good!
J. C. C.
Friendly service, a shame was not notified about construction work until I had checked in and in my room. Noise would have been an issue if I wanted a lie in. This was a business trip and I could not believe the room was supplied with a very poor plate iron no steam or spray which meant an eternity was needed to iron my shirt.
D. B.
Great rooms and good service
T. J.
Lovely hotel, we have stayed here several times and will do in the future. Staff great and welcoming
L. W.
Lovely big room , very clean and quiet , check in fantastic ( recommendation of a high up room was spot on ) room service really good .
D. K.
It's ok. Much like many other hotel chains in its category, it has reasonably good facilities near the very centre of town.
H. W.
Business class room not worth the money buffet very poor 6-8 open to everyone although we paid extra drinks ok bar person matt very happy to help.
M. B.
An absolute pleasure to stay. Incredible service and a wonderfully clean hotel room. Breakfast was super.

A. R.
Excellent location, just a 5 min walk from train station. Very helpful staff and great hotel restaurant.
w. B.
Lovely hotel in a fantastic location, breakfast really good only downside was there are only 2 lifts so there can be a bit of a wait for the lift at certain times
M. B.
Good sized rooms, mini fridge, nice shower and lovely comfy bed. Near shopping centre and various bars and restaurants.
S. T.
Nice toilet, big spacious room but furniture is quite old. Not a 4 star hotel by my standards.
M. C.
Great views and a fantastic breakfast. The Welsh has smashing sausages.
M. Z.
Great place to stay with both friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms have all the amenities as standard.

J. B.

5 minutes walk from the station. Spotless rooms with great facilities - and couldn't even hear the traffic noise from outside which made for a good night's sleep.
K. J.
