G.Great location and value for money. Room was really big, lovely to have so much space. Fantastic bathroom and great shower. Appreciated the free coffee machine in the foyer and laundry facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful and it was also very clean and felt covid safe in the room. The only downside was the lack of cooking oil in the kitchen for making food with, there is salt and pepper but no other condiments or things to help cook food with. Although there are pans and all the necessary equipment, the kitchen is better set up for heating food up in the microwave or making sandwiches.

This hotel was once a favourite of ours but this stay will likely be our last.
Good points: good location for shopping, GoMA and Glasgow Central. Staff are pleasant. Bed is comfortable. Good powerful shower.
Negatives - furniture is shabby, not cleaned very well, truly horrible view of bins and brick wall, noise from staff in pub below using bins.
On this occasion, we booked direct with the hotel over the phone and asked for a deluxe suite. Was told was given a special rate of £99/night instead of £150.
When checked in, we discovered it was not a deluxe but a standard suite and the price was the standard price for this accommodation.
Asked to change rooms and staff member just offered two other rooms of the same standard.
We're regulars here and after this experience, we likely won't be back.
J. M.The COVID protocols were very welcome.
We loved the location, the rooms were spacious and clean and well-furnished, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Due to unforeseen changes to to our travel plans (COVID-driven) we needed to stay an extra day. The hotel matched the excellent rate of our original booking (through a third-party site).
The clincher, however, came at the end of our stay. We needed to leave early (2 am) for the drive to London to catch what seemed like the only flight direct flight from the UK to Chicago. It turns out the parking garage used by the hotel was closed for the evening and wouldn't reopen in time for us to make our flight.
Ian the night clerk phoned the company that operates the garage and arranged for me to retrieve the car with minimal delay. Ian saved the day!
For reasons big and small, we plan to stay at the Fraser on future trips to Glasgow.

In general the apartment was clean, but with some furniture and walls need some TLC.
We also tried the breakfast which is decent enough for £7pp ( continental).
Staff was very polite and helpful.
Please note that there isn’t parking on site, with this there are 2 options.
Outside in front of the hotel but the car need to move before 08h00 or private parking right next door 16£ for 24h with 25% via voucher that is given by reception.
J. G.Absolutely lovely. King sized bed was just for me, but sleeping in the middle of the bed was a no go because it was two twin mattresses put together without a proper adjoining cushion. For next time, I will know that a queen size bed is a better fit for me. The amenities are absolutely divine and the bathroom is top-notch. I travel with a white noise machinen for night-time, so while others may have complained about noise isolation I'm able to drown out anything that may be an issue. Complimentary use of washing and drying machines as well as powder laundry soap was one of the things that drew me to the hotel. I was able to pack for one week, wash, and finish out my second week without killing myself with luggage. I am so glad that I am able to add breakfast onto my stay for a minimal fee. C. W.Great rooms for the price. Initially our room wasn't made up when I arrived. I returned to reception and they moved us to another room which appeared to be be upgrade. Room had a huge bed and large living room and kitchen with good facilities. Lots of nice extras biscuits, nespresso and drinks. All incredibly clean. I would definitely stay again!

N. M.Great accommodation! A self contained studio apartment with all you needed for a much longer stay. My two nights were excellent with a comfy bed, decent shower and easy access. Even the parking next door at QPark was discounted by the hotel.
It's also around the corner from very lively bars so no need to get a taxi anywhere. Drinks and music were within walking distance and yet I still had a peaceful nights sleep.

A. T.At present I'm sitting in the room ,I have had no sleep due to whoever or whoever is above me on a mission pacing up and down the floor with what sounds like pit boots on . This has been relentless and still going on as I type this . ( Also have video footage of this noise ) .
I can't really fault the place as I understand its in the city centre and its in a great location . But beware if someone above you like what I'm experiencing is constantly on the move even toilet paper in your ears doesn't drown it out . The girl on the reception was very understanding and I have to praise her on this( sandra) .
So having to head home like a half shut knife and onto my own bed to try and catch up on sleep before I'm back at work tonight .

A. A.Fantastic spacious room, you can't complain whatever price you paid. Extremely neat and chic place, toilet was sparkling clean when I checked in, the kitchen area is nice too, you have your cooker, pots, pans, and cutlery. Breakfast included and was decent. I forgot my phone, and the staff was helpful when I retired to pick it up. Highly recommended.
S.Central and good place to stay however needs improvement with regards to soundproofing. Creaky floorboards from apartment upstairs were so loud that I got a fright and thought that someone was walking up the hallway in our apartment. Our room looked onto the multistorey car park which was very noisy in the morning especially when the air con units stayed on. I feel that for the money there would be accomodation which was quieter and without the sound issues. Also wierdly housekeeping knocked out door at 9.45 when its an 11am checkout. I answered and she seemed suprised and stated she was sorry as they had no way to know if we had checked out yet! Not great, as if there was no answer would they just let themselves in?

I had a 2 bedroom appartment for 2 nights for a business trip and enjoyed the space and kitchen facilities however some of the interior is a little tired and could do with updating. That being said, bed super comfy and slept well!
M. T.Lovely big rooms with a nice big bed. Staff helpful. Only downside was the creaking floorboards from the room above. Upstairs folk seemed to be walking around non stop, even at 3am in the morning. That aside, would stay again. Handy for the Merchant city and Glasgow city centre.

M. “.Roomy apartment with mod cons: capsule coffee machine, microwave & quality toiletries. Decor is looking tired but with good room service. Particular downside is the noise from bar below that periodically throughout the night & early morning empties it's empty bottles to a clattering crescendo. Together with the the noisy creaking roof/or apartment above, which is hard to tell as we were on the supposed top, 4th floor, creaked all night because it was windy outside. Then there's the booming music from nearby clubs throughout the night too. Good overall but be aware of these issues if you're wanting a peaceful night's sleep.

C. W.Just left the Fraser suites after staying on a filming job for 2 months. One word- PERFECTION. Big shout to our homies Josh and Malcolm always going above and beyond to make sure our stay was lovely. It was the kind of service I would expect had I of been staying in the grand Budapest hotel. The rooms are lovely despite and clean and they provide you with free washing- which we very much needed after long smelly night shoots.
The only thing that could be noted is that you must be careful frying hallomi as it will set the fire alarm off.
All in all a 10/10 stay. Love the coffee machine (sad I only discovered it was free one month in). Love the mint imperials and LOVE the staff. Will be coming back again for visits.

I. M.An excellent place to stay in a great part of Glasgow. This is our second night of two and the service has been superb. The one bedroom apartment is spotless and chic. Every member of staff stops to say hello. The concierge will even take you out onto the street to show you where to go and the reception can't be more friendly and helpful. I recruit and train staff to offer high level customer service in retail, so in turn I notice the effort made to make your stay enjoyable. I proposed to my partner in the suite and asked the cleaner (who has been here for 5 years, says alot) if I could get two champagne glasses. He returned with two glasses, a congratulations note and a bottle of prosecco from the Fraser suites. Wow. The breakfast is a very good standard of continental that would also suit children. All is all this hits the mark in all areas. Worth sampling for yourself. Definitely coming back.

a.Great location just in the city center. Room size is perfect and comfortable, with a small living room and kitchen with all that you need for a weekend getaway. It depends on the season and specially on weekends could be a little bit noisy. Reception staff really friendly & helpful.
L. D.Overall, great visit. Courteous staff, unobtrusive housekeeping staff, and staff generally nice and friendly.
Free coffee in room and lobby, free (do it yourself) laundry, free decent WiFi (perhaps not enough to stream instantly on a rainy day, but you could download a Netflix movie to watch easily). My liked speed tests put it at an unstable 3-15Mbps, but depending on occupancy, your milage may vary. Web browsing was NEVER slow beyond a hiccup.
Location is just off the market area... 2-3 minute walk to start hitting the store strips.
The only complaint I could possibly make is that some rooms are above a Bar/restart, so they might get loud (?) If your on the south east corner of the first floor (though I can't confirm they even have rooms for guests here). I was a few rooms over on the first floor and all I got was a bit of bass that a fan on low easily covered up.
There's good bit of light that can get through the windows, but this is a city, you should expect that. Thankfully, Fraser Suites has VERY good blackout curtains.. so good you should set an alarm, don't expect sunlight to wake you!
If you want breakfast, book it with reception a day in advance to save a pound or two per person; if you forget to do so, they welcome you without the notice, it just costs a tiny bit more.

C. W.Apartments are really lovely and clean. We stayed here in mid October. You are in the centre, near to lots of restaurants and bars. The town centre is a short stroll away for shopping. The only thing that bothered us was the heat in the building, far too warm.
O. E.Great Hotel in good location. Was clean and spacious for two people. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only complaints was that the room was hot and at night it was too noisy to open window because of pub below and that there was no overhead lighting so the bedroom itself was a little dark.

Lovely, very spacious, very clean bedroom + separate lounge (with kitchenette) apartments, plus a few smaller studios. Been staying here for over five years, never been disappointed. Very friendly staff too. Bit like a home from home.

Other reviewers have mentioned the noise of the Maggie Mays bar below. I agree that it's loud, especially when they empty the bottles into to the bins (which is sporadic and won't interrupt your sleep with the windows closed,) but that's the price of staying most places in Merchant City.

K.Just wow! I have been to many hotels with work and this has to have been the best I have been to. 'Suites' is right. I only booked as my colleague was going there. I was expecting a pretty standard affair, bed, desk, bathroom. Yes you get them, but it really is a suite. I had a single bedroom which had a living/dining area with a kitchenette, that led to the hallway which then connected to the bedroom (king and a single bed) and the bathroom.
Shame I was only one night, I could well imagine living there!

The room was like a little apartment with a spacious entrance, bathroom with a bath and shower, a little kitchen, living room, tv and a large bed. The staff is also wonderful and always ready to assist and answer questions. I would like to stay there again when I visit Glasgow in the future.

The room was Ok, as the other review said.
The club emptys bottles into the bin up till about 11 pm. Some people taking and shouting. It's only single glazing so does not stock sound and makes the room colder.
Now there's high ceilings and you can her every foot step of the elephant moving around from 4 am till 5 am.
Then the cherry is the refuse lorry at 6 am emptying all those bottles.
I'm a simple person I like sleep.. They moved me to room 325 which is much nicer.
Would I stay again ... yes as long as I can not see the multi story garage. If you can see it move for the love of sleep.

Breakfast a HUGE disappointment. No eggs of any kind, no bacon, no tomatos, no cucumbers, low variety in bread (usually just toast), low variety in juice, low variety in cold cuts, low variety in black tea (no earl gray or english breakfast), non-crisp croissant, dry raisin bagel.
Cleaners friendly but lazy. Kitchen fan dirty, baseboards, ipod dock covered in dust, panels near floor dusty, top of cupboard dusty.

T. M.Stayed at the Fraser Suites on Saturday,20 August 2016 to attend a family wedding at St Andrews On The Square. The bed was king size and comfortable. Kitchen/living room area with a desk, sofa and table, good size bedroom with King bed and wardrobe and bathroom with shower/bath combination.

Kurz und knapp. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und Stilvoll eingerichtet und die Lage des Hotels war sehr gut zur Innenstadt gelegen. Ein Parkhaus befindet sich direkt nebenan und das Hotel bietet Rabatt hierfür. Das Frühstück war Lecker und es gab die Möglichkeit Kaffee oder Kakao mitzunehmen. Allerdings stellte sich heraus dass unser Zimmer über einem Pub Lag in dem bis in die Nacht gut die Post abgeht und man das Gefühl hat die Musikboxen oder Live Band stehen neben dem Bett. Somit war die Nacht leider nicht sehr erholsam. Das hätte man durchaus im vorab drauf hinweisen können. Ohne Pub würde das Hotel 4 Sterne bekommen und in einem anderen Zimmer oder Hotel der Fraser Kette werden wir sicher nochmal übernachten.
