N. C.Everything about our stay at the Maldron was 100% excellent.
A lovely room with very comfortable beds. A great bathroom with a fantastic walk in shower and constant hot water. Everything was spotlessly clean.
A very good breakfast was included in the price with a good choice of hot and cold food and drinks.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful especially those on the reception desk.
We had booked for 2 nights but my daughter became ill and we could therefore stay for only one night.. They did not make any charge for the second night and the situation was handled very sympathetically and with the minimum of fuss. We were naturally very upset at having to curtail our stay but we will definitely book the Maldron again. We have already recommended it to our friends and family..
Definitely a 100% positive review for this super hotel. Thanks to all the staff.
m. P.Good location for our purpose. Rooms comfortable. Excellent bathroom and shower. Clean and tidy.
BUT problems with the safe in our allocated room. Two workmen and an hour later had to pack everything up and move to a different room on another floor.
Later discovered TV not working. Another two people and two days later it was fixed!!
Offered a complimentary drink each and a 20% discount voucher for lunch /dinner. We had already booked restaurants for dinner so unable to use the voucher. Did explain but hotel wouldn't allow us to use the voucher for breakfast.
At busy times they can run out of breakfast items.
Staff helpful but these issues should not have happened.
M. S.We had an excellent stay at Maldron Hotel Glasgow. We were a large group with a number of rooms booked for a family wedding in the city. The staff were fantastic - so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great with many options. Location was very central. Great value for money.

N. A.Excellent hotel as you really get what you pay for. I saw photos on booking and it was almost exactly the same as what I found. You will find yourself very close to the main city center all you need is a few steps to reach everything. Receptionists were very friendly. Room was extremely clean. Amenities were available but no fridge though.

l. B. L.Modern city centre Hotel opposite Pavilion Theatre. Feel it is more geared up for business travellers but OK for one or two night stay. Rooms are tastefully decorated but have no fridge and very little drawer space! The bathroom has a good power shower. Only down side on our two night stay was that apart from being asked if we required clean towels the room was not serviced! The buffet breakfast was reasonable and as you would expect in a city centre Hotel the bar prices were very expensive.

N. M.We stayed for 2 nights at the weekend. The room was perfect - 10th floor so a lovely view of the city. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and helpful if we needed anything. Online checkin and checkout meant it was super quick. Also the tv had a Chromecast which was so handy!

M. F.The Maldron Hotel is a modern property which is clean and still feels quite new. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with the hotels location only a short walk from the city centre yet so quiet. Bed were comfortable and the rooms and en- suite had everything you would expect. Tea and coffee facilities were provided but a biscuit rigid have been nice too 😁
S. M.Lovely new hotel. We booked a room for 3 people and it was perfect. Good size with a huge double and single bed. Online checking in and out saved a lot of time. Overnight parking at the Sauchiehall Street Q Park was only £10 with the hotel discount. Would definitely stay there again.

The parking isn't too far (couple of streets away) & if you use the right car park for which there is a hotel discount, it is affordable for a short stay.

A. W.We arrived on the 31st December to spend hogmany in Glasgow. Even though Scotland still had a few COVID restrictions in place , the team that work here went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay. Rooms were spotless and xtremely comfortable. Excellent location too
J. E.After booking an executive room we were very excited go come stay in the hotel. When I asked to check in the lady replied 'I'll try'. We tried to. Check in 1.5 hours after check in time and was told our room was not ready. We were asked to wait. After 10/15 mins we were offered a downgraded room with a refund of the difference paid. It was fine. Everything was clean and breakfast was fab. Overall though it spoiled our romantic weekend away!
M. M.There were no drawers to put clothes in. No shaving mirror, lighting in bathroom and bedroom poor. No instructions for heating or coffee maker. Breakfast very disappointing limited selection and not regularly replenished. Hot food nearly warm. First night we had booked for dinner but had to eat in the bar as restaurant was fully closed to accommodate a small bus tour. Second day invaded by Danish football fans. One lift out of use so we had to walk up and down 12 flights of stairs. No one enforcing mask wearing for football fans. Lots of the drunk and loud. We came down for breakfast on second morning to find it overcrowded and unsafe for covid so decided to give it a miss. The bar staff were very friendly.

C. C.Great stay here on Saturday night. Had a corner room on 9th floor with views down Renfield Street over the Pavilion. Staff were great and bar was good also. Loved it.

D. D.GG rest location, friendly helpful staff, hotel was extremely clean and very covid aware..easy check in and out online and I'm technophobic! Breakfast was lovely, although I,m not a fan of buffet breakfast this was very good, fresh hot produce. My only gripe would prefer tea and coffee to be put on table. Either coffee cold or food cool because of wait for machine. But we will be back

C. P. B.The Maldron is by far now one of my go to hotels when staying in Glasgow, the staff are so attentive and nothing is too big of an ask. Service with a smile every single time. I've stayed in hotels where you pay three times what we paid and the service was at best okay. But the guys here are top class.
The rooms are spacious and modern, air con, smart tv and the usual hair dryer, tea coffee etc. The rooms are spotless and linen and towel are spotless.
Food at the Maldron is amazing and very well priced, highly recommend the breakfast once again I've had breakfast that weren't as good and paid more for them and are really poor compared to what the Maldron has to offer and it's £10 pp per a day and 100% worth paying.
The hotel is quite and well located.
I'd highly recommend a stay here baffled at some of the reviews, I have pretty high standards when it comes to hotels and we booked the Maldron last minute. Everywhere was pretty much booked as it's a bank holiday weekend and there's a match on. We would have originally started elsewhere but im so glad we stumbled across this hotel online and will be our first choice from now on.

C.Amazing stay, very nice and quiet, close to St George Square(where you can take the Sightseeing Bus Tour), and to the main shopping centre.Just across the hotel, you will find Cineworld and the main Bus Station. Also, Q park is just under 10 minutes walking. With the voucher frim reception, parking is £8/24 hours.Evening meal amazing, staff very friendly, and the breakfast was great with plenty of choices.

J. D.Wildly helpful and exceedingly kind staff. I recently stayed at the Maldron during a transition from Canada to Uni in Glasgow. Through every call, reservation change, and a litany of luggage, I was supported by expert, professional staff, specifically Jennifer and David. Can't thank them enough for their patience and genuine care during this wild pre-chapter in my life. The hotel itself is still relatively new so not without hiccups but anything that arose was handled masterfully, with grace.
S. N.We stayed at the Maldron hotel Glasgow last week. What makes it stand out from its competitors is their staff and their hospitality.
I have stayed at the Marriotts, Hilton and many other brands but nothing to match the warmth I received from the staff at the Maldron Hotel Glasgow right from reception desk to breakfast our expectations were only exceeded. Jennifer at check-in was lovely. Lewis at the breakfast was exceptional with his smiling face. To my bad luck one of the mornings, everything I reached for at breakfast seemed to have run out on the buffet, and Lewis was swift and quick in catering to my needs, be it hot milk or eggs to order. David at the breakfast too has been amazing. I am a pure vegetarian and I failed to find any vegetarian restaurants around, finally ended up at the restaurant downstairs but was late, Viorel did go and check with the chefs but unfortunately the kitchen was closed. Usually statf don't care if a guest goes hungry but Viorel didn't give up and tried to offer options but me being a pure vegetarian couldn't opt for any of them. I asked for cookies/biscuits and he very kindly offered to bring it up to my room. I thought he would send a staff member, but to my surprise he himself came up and delivered the cookies, I was shocked as he is a manager, unusual sight to witness. This place doesn't work on hierarchy, everyone seems to be leading by example with managers and heads working side by side with their teams. One such example is seeing the hotel manager Hazel welcoming the guests at breakfast.
We were wandering around in the hotel clicking pictures and wanted to visit the gym, had no clue how to access it until we ran into Lewis from the front desk who very kindly offered to go and get the keys to access the gym. Rinkesh at the bar helped us arrange for some coffee on the go as we had an early flight to catch back home to London and wouldn't be there for breakfast. He informed the bar supervisor Johnny who made sure the coffee cups were placed by the machine and also informed the night team. What I loved was the communication between them as I didn't have to repeat or ask for it again and again, which usually is the case in big hotels. Johnny is a lovely man, very chatty and hospitable. He also made us some lovely cocktails and mocktails. At check out, John at the front desk had already arranged for our coffees and yogurts. Thank you John for a smooth hassle free check out.
The hotel is very clean and tidy and safe to stay during these uncertain times. I highly recommend this hotel.
Thank you once again Maldron Glasgow for an amazing stay, the memories have been etched in my heart.
