I loved this place, convenient to the bars and restaurants of the east side of Glasgow, great staff and a fun lobby, pool and table games about. The room we stayed in was very nicely appointed with comfortable beds and a good size shower. Breakfast could have been better if they used better sausages, cheap sausages are always a letdown they tasted like cardboard, the rest of the breakfast as of a good standard. All in all would recommend.

My first place to look at when planning on coming to Glasgow. The atmosphere of the place is very laid back, inviting and private. The modern, hip interior sets it apart from all the other hotels. The staff is always extremely friendly and …

Great environment and staff. The bar is nice and has snacks, good beers on tap and comfy lounge areas. The free cocktail on arrival is nice too. Rooms are clean, spacious and cosy. The bathroom is nice, especially with the mood lighting. My …

I'm baselining my review on the fact that Moxy hotels generally are mediocre and really only worth it if you get a good rate on $ or points. All-in-all, it's your standard Moxy in a solid Glasgow location. Service was fine. One bizarre thing was that the room had no legitimate temperature control. We were told that the climate control is effectively a fan that is regulated by whatever the room temperature is. In other words, you'll being opening your window in order to cool your room off.

We stayed at the Moxy for 3 nights. On arrival we checked in which was easy and were told we would receive complimentary cocktails which was nice. The staff mentioned an eco service where your room isn’t visited to be cleaned etc until you …

Nice clean hotel, Room are larger than I expected and had everything I needed for a 1 night stay, but could happily of stayed for the full weekend. Good location for shopping. Can be a bit noise as close to hospital and lots of blue light …

This hotel is for business men/students who are happy to live out of a suitcase. There is very little storage for clothes just two hanging hooks no drawers or shelves. It is very clean and modern but breakfast is diy and if you do not get up early enough there will be none left and they charge 12.50 ahead for it.

Very nice for a three-star hotel. After exploring the city, I wish I had stayed somewhere closer to Finnieston. It was a prettier area with more to do. A king size bed would have been nice, but the queen worked well. I am Bonvoy Platinum. So I asked for an upgrade and got a "family sleeper". This was great as I had a living room next to the bedroom and a large foyer with an accessible bathroom. We were offered delicious free welcome drinks as well. As for the bad: the walls were very thin. So I never got a good night's sleep because it sounded like someone was running and moving boxes next to/above us. That sucked. And the bathroom door is a slider. So you have zero privacy as far as noise goes. Also, the TV in our bedroom didn't work. There was no remote to turn it on. I told the reception about it and they placed a second remote in the room, but it worked only on the living room TV. So we had 2 remotes for the living room and none for the bedroom, which was disappointing after a long day exploring. There was a daily breakfast offered which I didn't try. I believe it was £12.50. There were lots of items, food and beverage wise, you could purchase by the front reception which was convenient. I might stay again because the staff were nice and the room was large and comfortable.

What makes this place wonderful is the staff and lounge. Bottom floor has comfortable and large spaces to sit and relax with in-house cocktails. Staff is very friendly and helpful — made for a smooth check-in. The rooms are okay: clean and include what you need but not too large and wouldn’t want to spend the whole day in it (traveling by myself was perfect for it). Would stay again.
C.
Cant fault hotel, ideal location, inexpensive and very accessible. Staff are excellent, hotel is clean and modern. Rooms have modern decor, beds are very comfortable. The only critisism is the lack of tea/coffee making for the room.
A. M.
Hotel is lovely and rooms lovely and spotless and beds really comfortable really good atmosphere really nice staff 👍 cocktail on arrival 😀 and breakfast was really good loads to chose from too 😁 would definitely come back again
A.

very nice and clean, modern hotel, well-placed for Glasgow city centre..things I didn't like so much: the ambience is like a sort of blend of Hard Rock Café and what i imagine Victoria's Secret will be like..colour scheme black and purple, …

I spent a weekend from this past Nov. 5th, and everything was amazing! The personnel was very kind and attentive. One of the receptionist, Brownyn was incredibly patient to explain to me how to get to the closet mountain peak going in public transportation from the hotel. Furthermore, when I called at 5:00 am in the morning to request a wake up knock on the door for my sister, they did it gladly. I totally recommend it!
A.
Had a great stay here for a long weekend. First clean of room was excellent but second not as good. No clean cups or towels given. Quiet rooms with no people noise but must have been beside a boiler or cistern as very noisy during the night.
M. H.
The staff is super friendly and helpful each time I'm there. The rooms are cosy, modern and clean. The whole place is a bit hip. Definitely targeted at the younger demographic. The downstairs lounge has heaps of comfy seatings and quiet nooks to sit on your own or with your friends. The bar area is great as well. The prices are not too steep either.
M. F.
Highly recommend, excellent stay and service
Close to train station and not far from city centre
Nice touch with welcome drink

Beautiful place to stay. Polite & respectful staffs. They provide good service. I loved my stay there. A bit expensive but worth the stay.
A. A.
Bring your friends down here to have a good time. They have a pool table and a foosball table. Even if you are alone, you can have a coffee and read through loads interesting books that they have in their shelves. The staff were also quite friendly. I really wanna go there again and play foosball and have a beer.

Well located hotel in the centre of Glasgow. Good parking behind the hotel. Branded as a Marriott but quite different, especially if you're used to the other Marriott brands.

We stayed here just after Hotels could reopen in Scotland. The hotel was very quiet so I cannot comment on the vibe that one would normally get in the public areas. We did have breakfast here which was well organised and tasty. All the …

I enjoyed my stay at the Moxy. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was alright ( needs improving). …

Really cool boutique hotel albeit part of the Marriott chain. Clean functional rooms with great lobby for meetings, entertainment and drinks. Note there is a local micro brewery 300yards away. Location is out of the center but close enough if you like to walk
R.
Excellent staff and new trendy hotel perfect for teenagers to feel some home comforts. Pool tables, LED lighting and simple things like usb power outlets at the bedside are superb. Very close to many restaurants and bars in a very safe …

Great location in Merchant City. Very clean room, helpful staff and pleasant bar. Good parking close by. Will definitely recommend to friends.
Missed having tea making facilities in room and we were never organised enough to use those provided in the reception area.
D. G.
Stylish hotel, food was alright.
However having to go to the ground floor for your morning brew isnt good.
I like my morning brew in my pants but didnt want to upset the other guests.
Also the temperature is way too high at 22° in the rooms. The controls didnt make a difference.
Are they possibly trying to save money by not having the air conditioning on?
Because of that I wouldn't stay again as I found it uncomfortably hot.
K.
I like the location which is quiet but also close to clubs whilst it takes 20mins to walk form Glasgow Central/Queen station. …
C.
Friendly staff, clean hotel and wonderful facilities. It was a special trip and so glad we booked this hotel as it just added something extra onto our stay. Thanks so much!
K.
Stay was very pleasant & enjoyed myself. All staff were very friendly & welcoming to me & my dog. Loved the lobby decor, room was very clean & modern. Only a minor criticism is for the price of the room there should be tea & coffee facilities provided in the room.
M.
The hotel was a nice hotel, it was very basic and had good amenities.
Parking was great especially with the discount from the hotel. …

Great hotel, this was my second stay here in 2 years and they are always great. Breakfast was good, I did find a hair on my tray one morning. Otherwise great place, only downside would be they don't do drinks in the rooms. You have to get from the bar and I like my coffee in the morning haha
G. F.
The Moxy is perfect for an overnight stay. It has just what you need - a comfortable bed and a good shower. Very friendly staff, immaculately clean. Good covid protection measures. Breakfast here is excellent but there are loads of good independent coffee shops, and restaurants right on your doorstep.
l. w.
Nice central hotel, very modern, friendly staff and you even get a free welcome cocktail/mocktail 🍹😁
L.
Loved staying here. Very modern and well decorated. Welcome cocktail was lovely too
H. W.
Trendy hotel with functional rooms for a business trip or also to visit Glasgow. Downtown is not that far away and also railway station close
m. r.
Great place to stay, really good location and staff are really friendly. Room is very comfortable.
S.
Small but perfectly adequate rooms - ideal for exploring the city. Late checkout option is great. Car park bit of a walk but great cheap deal for daily parking @ £5/day.
A.
Perfect hotel for visiting Glasgow to see students or to just be near the centre of the city! Very stylish and modern and the rooms were lovely and the bed very comfy , will be back for sure
A.
Our stay was for just 1 night and the hotel and staff are an absolute credit to the Moxy Hotel Glasgow.
10/10 For sani for going above and beyond with being so helpful.
I. M.
beautiful hotel but our tv's didnt work other than than comfy beds clean bright place
R. C.
Cool hotel in central Glasgow. Great price. Clean comfortable rooms. Great location.
Park in the Duke Street car park round the back for only £5 when the hotel zaps your parking ticket.
c. 1.
Rooms are unbelievable, they service is fantastic, would fully recommend to anyone
D.
As referred to above the hanging and storage space were quite inadequate. the desk/shelf was much too small. The lighting was good. A triumph of style over substance.
B.
Enjoyed the general atmosphere and aesthetic to the hotel. Was easy to find from Central station, plus was in a good area for restaurants and shops.
A.
Stayed here for the weekend to attend a beard competition. I chose this hotel as it was nearest to the event. After a long journey I checked in late but received a warm welcome. After a quick chill out in my 4th floor room which was quiet …

Nice, clean and modern. Staff were very helpful and welcoming.
Quite liked all the random quirky artwork and general design.
Pretty chill atmosphere overall and within walking distance from the town centre and bus station.
Don't know if this is an intentional thing or a guest had just sprayed something nice in a room beside ours but the hallways smelled really good haha.
The only negative I could point out was that there wasn't a lot of space to hang clothing if you're someone that likes to unpack properly but it wasn't much of an issue for me.
Thanks for a good visit.
A.
I booked 2 nights at the Moxy in Glasgow and my mission was just to have some quality time relaxing, having fun and exploring with my teenage son. We arrived at the same time as Storm Dennis! The hotel kindly kept our luggage before we …

Just returned home today after a 3 night stay. Beautiful hotel. Very quirky. Good location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel very clean. Comfortable beds. The bathrooms are great with a very good shower. Good value for money.
There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Although free tea/coffee is available in the foyer. It didn't affect us as we brought a travel kettle. The rooms can be a bit too warm at times.
S.
Came with my partner for a half marathon and to be honest wasn't expecting much from the hotel as it was so well priced compared to others in Glasgow with a similar location. Was surprised at how clean and well laid out it was. The lobby …

Lively and modern in a not too far away area, clean and secure. Bar is decent with snacks and limited hot food which is edible but don’t expect restaurant standard. Good quality hotel for the price with a young lively atmosphere. Bad points …

Great hotel, modern & sleek. Amazing staff & service. Always try and go the extra mile for you.
Great location. Cant fault the whole package from Moxy, love it
B.
Slight snafu with early check-in giving us a room that was still occupied, but staff was quick to give us a new (upgraded) room. Welcome drink was more a gimmick (liquor shot), but still appreciated. The lobby/common area is probably the …

Really friendly staff at check in. Love the decor, so refreshing to find a hotel with a different vibe to all the other. Room was clean, tidy and had everything I needed for my overnight. Good central location too for an evening in Glasgow.

Had a lovely stay, 24h parking £5..just a couple of min from the town... Trendy urban feel hotel, guitars on the walls. Soft comfy beds great showers, loved the Muk shower gel. we also Enjoyed the free coffee and lounge area with free games & books...

Very clean and very friendly.. Excellent

Ideal location. Modern, spacious hotel. Great facilities and breakfast. Good, comfortable room. Polite, helpful and friendly staff. Overall, an enjoyable stay.
If i had read some reviews beforehand, i would have chosen not to stay here, which is a shame as the place i stayed in didnt reflect the poor ratings
G.
The location of this hotel was a bit misleading - it’s on the High Street not really in the Merchant City but was a good price. The rooms were comfortable and the hotel itself interesting. Clearly styled on Citizen M but with more of a …

I would definitely recommend the moxy, me and my partner had a very rare night away from the kids, met a few new friends at the hotel and enjoyed a night at the hotel bar playing pool and having a good time.
S.
A friendly place to stay. Helpful staff, lively atmosphere in the lobby/bar area. Standard continental breakfast, omelette was lovely but got the impression that most things were brought in frozen. Rooms were clean with really comfy beds …
J.
An overall lovely hotel, although we waited in line for several minutes as there was only 1 member of staff on check in and there were several couples waiting in line before and after myself and my girlfriend. The room was lovely, clean and …
R. B.
Love the atmosphere of the hotel lobby/bar, very nice staff and just a chill place to hangout. The bed was very comfortable and the room itself excellent. The view is less then exciting though but thats pretty much the only negative thing I can think of. Highly recommend this place for your stay in Glasgow, I was very pleasantly surprised.
N. R.
Stayed here for one night on the 25/01/2020, it's a very pleasant hotel, lovely professional staff, the only 2 issues I would say Is the help yourself tea/coffee station which is located in the main foyer. It's a pain having to go down to reception to get a tea/coffee, a wee kettle in each room with some basics would be a lot easier for guests.
Also two pillows instead of one would be better as you have to go downstairs to get a second pillow which is annoying, no one sleeps with one pillow at home so why would they in a hotel?
Bar that great experience!
R. F.
Stylish and exuberant type of hotel, in particular lobby area. Many books, lounge chairs and games invite to spend joyful time if one doesn’t dare the fancy and partly loud music. Rooms are clean, bathrooms are quite small. However, very comfortable beds ensure a decent sleep. Staff is very helpful and always friendly. Big free parking next to the hotel.
W. C.
It’s a nice place to stay, lovely staffs.
S. B.
My whole experience at The Moxy was excellent!
You check-in at the bar, where they also give you a welcome drink!
The decor is amazing. Super funky, lots of guitars, albums, and books everywhere. The bar area is a cool place to just chill and have a few drinks.
The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable! I even loved the shampoo and conditioner lol
Would easily stay there again
E. M.
We loved the illumination of the room that was clean and crisp, the bathroom was very modern and efficient. We had problems with the mattress although it was new or maybe because it was new 😜 excuse us we are a bit old. Also a bin would be good in the room. Overall it was a good experience we thank for the hospitality of the wonderful staff.
C.
Stayed here twice and just think it’s great. Aimed towards a younger adult which I think is so funky. Rooms were modern, big and clean. Great location near bars and restaurants. Staff lovely and easy to ask questions. Will definitely stay here again
M. R.
Gorgeous hotel with amazing service and very modern vibrant interior
G.
Stayed whilst attending a Pink concert. Staff went the extra mile with added touches. Pink sunglasses, cocktail & Pink music playing in main area. Which created a welcoming & fun atmosphere. Quirky and modern hotel, lots of fun quotes and …

Good budget hotel for young travelers. Not suitable for business trips.
Friendly staff, new hotel, convenient location close to Strathclyde University. However, some solutions marketed as "cool" or "modern" are very inconvenient. To have a coffee one needed to go all the way to the lobby. The clothes have to be hanged on two hooks or stored in the suitcase.
M. H.
An absolute gem. The location could not be any better, bang in in the city centre. Everything is brand new, modern and extremely hip. I would say it is heavily targeted for younger people, but it is certainly not a con. I have enjoyed every bit of that place. Certainly a huge bargain. I did not expect this place to be up to such high standards for the price I've paid. The staff is unbelievably helpful and kind as well. Will definitely stay there again.
A. G.
Room was lovely.... Bit warm though.... Food was nice.... Quirky
N.
This is the second time that we have chosen to use this hotel and it definitely won’t be the last. The staff are amazing, the hotel in itself is stylish and friendly and the location is great for anyone looking to have a good night out in Glasgow. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable.
K.
We stayed 2 nights, welcome happy staff on arrival. Checked in no bother
room was very clean, bathroom very clean - small but adequate.
Only 10 minutes walk from city centre, lots of bars and cafes local to hotel. …
J. L.
A bit random. Great locality but downstairs, the hotel was a mix between a student dorm and student bar. Was very strange. Bedroom was pleasant and quiet which was great for 1 nights stay. Would find a different hotel when I come back next year.
C. B.
I’m a fan of the Moxy ethos. Simple, low hassle boarding which is great for business trips when you’re not spending much time at the hotel itself. If you do end up there the bar and pool table are very welcome. The rooms are modern and comfortable, I’d happily stay here again.
A.
Very stylish hotel with an up-to-the-minute vibe. The room was well appointed, but we could have done with a bit more light available to us. Plenty of space for clothes. Very comfortable bed. Not keen on the overly loud thumping music …
S. C.
Very modern and trendy, nice friendly atmosphere in public areas. Bedroom small and no storage but spotlessly clean and very comfy bed. Shower cubicle small but lovely hot water. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room but available 24 hours at reception. Continental breakfast ok.
I.
Catch it right (avoiding major events in Glasgow when prices rise) and get a reasonably priced stay at a modern, funky, friendly, comfortable Hotel, with easy access to a good selection of local Restaurants, Bars and Bistro's. …
a. l.
Excellent experience overall. A very modern stylish hotel which on arrival just looks like a funky, industrial bar. Electric guitars on the walls, spray paint graffiti and art books on the huge tree trunk table give a welcome change to the usual clean and minimal hotel lobbys, I usually see on business trips. Rooms are well decorated too with brilliant automatic under bed lighting should you get up in the night. Free Tea and coffee facilities are located at the back of the bar, so no kettle in the rooms and a separate (well equipped) ironing room on each floor. Would recommend and definitely stay again at the excellent price we paid. Only a short 10-15 minute walk into the centre too.
C.
We were impressed with the hotel from arrival. Quirky lobby and check in area with bar and tables. Safe and secure lobby/lift system. Room was nicely decorated and laid out but on the small side for us with an even smaller shower room. It …
S.
Mostly really pleased with the hotel. Good value, room great. Staff great. Just felt breakfast could have had more hot food and lobby area needed tables cleaning a bit quicker. Would definitely stop again
M.
Staff are always really friendly and the interior decor is very modern and interesting. Will always stay here when i’m in town.
A.
Poor location. Long walk from city centre. Not many restaurants on the door step. Interior tries too hard to be hip and trendy. Bedroom facilities and layout is more a kin to an ibis budget but with a nicer bathroom. …
C. F.
First time staying in this hotel and will definitely stay again. Animal friendly too. We took out 6month old pup with us and were a bit apprehensive about how to puppy proof room (I.e cables, lamps etc) but didnt need to worry. Very modern hotel so no cables at all. Spotlessly clean. Staff super friendly. Welcomed pup into the bar area and even supplied him with his drink(water).
W.
Great hotel, great location. totally modern facility with friendly staff, we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend to all. The only slight negative was no cooked breakfast, there are though a number of cafes nearby.
L.
My daughter and I had come to Glasgow from Detroit, Mi USA for a family celebration....mum was 90 years young! We loved the wonderful "feel' of the Moxy. Upbeat, happy and relaxed....but so clean and warm and professional. The Moxy was …

Great funky hotel. Stayed for work but wouldn't hesitate to stay for leisure as well
A. V.
Firstly the price is amazing for where the hotel is situated, you have the city literally at walking distance. The hotel room was spotless and comfy and the perfect size for a couple. The staff were friendly and the whole vibe of the hotel was great. It is most definately targetted towards younger people with its quirkiness but i really enjoyed my time there. The reason for not giving 5 stars is that even though downstairs there is 24hr coffee and tea facilities, there isnt in the room or a fridge to keep water or drinks cool. I think being a 4 star hotel this should be a bare minimum however, i would definately stay again!
A.
One of the great things about this hotel, when partnered with the Marriott Bonvoy app, is the ability to set a check-in time or check-in on the app. …
M.
The cot they gave to us for my son to sleep in was better than I expected, never had bedding to make it up. No phone in the rooms for room service. Small bathroom and poor food selection but overall the stay was great and relaxing. Close to town city centre and nice staff.
J. M.
Fantastic hotel a stones throw from George Square. Brilliant atmosphere and vibrant decor. I stayed here for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. In my eyes the best hotel in Glasgow whilst being very reasonably priced. Staff in the hotel are very friendly and offer a brilliant customer service experience.
A. A.
Absolutely adore this hotel. From the quirky lobby area filled with games to the modern rooms with comfy bed, the friendly staff and the great location, the Moxy is definitely on our visit again list. The whole place was impeccably clean and the rooms very quiet.
J. F.
It’s a convenient place to stay if you staying in downtown area- it’s closed many of the attraction, shopping center, and pubs/ restaurants.
It’s a self service so don’t expect 5 stars service. But it’s clean and have all your essentials for your stay. The communal area is trendily decorated and filled with games, books that’s good for people of any age.
a. w.
Looking tired considering I was there a year ago and was impressed then. Room looked like it may not have been cleaned well and had to ask at reception as they had no pillows in room. Free cocktail on arrival was disappointing and bar overpriced. Nice staff were a redeeming factor
A.
Only really used it for sleeping but the staff were excellent when checking in and the 24hr shop that sells snacks and soft drinks was really handy
K.
Probably one of the more interesting stays at my hotel. It's a self serviced hotel but the staff are readily available to help you. Everyone over at the Moxy is awesome! The room itself is lovely with pretty cool designs! Overall a wonderful stay if you visit Glasgow!
E.
Great Location and Excellent Place to Stay. Park in Duke Street carpark for £5 when stamped at reception plus lots of electric charge points for hybrids and eVs. It's about 2 minute walk to the hotel. Welcome cocktail is a very nice touch for a start to the evening.
n. b.
Nice hotel great public space. Rooms on the compact side but perfectly comfortable. I would prefer some way of making a hot drink in the room rather than just the free drinks in the bar area. Breakfast on the pricy side especially with no hot food.
S. R.
This place is so unique. My husband and I had a great week there on a business trip from Birmingham. 5 hour drive was so worth it. Perfect destination, with everything you need only a 5-10 minute walk away. The staff are helpful and leave you to it! Very clean and well organised. Highly recommend
D.
Great value for the money. Only annoying thing was there are no room phones so when we had a housekeeping issue and questions about the AC.i had to call them from my cellphone. Also sent an email that was not immediately addressed as it was …

This was my first time in this hotel, so I was unaware of the procedures - something a would-be scammer knew... She 'borrowed' our room key, saying she needed it to get back inside after having a cigarette. .. However, the excellent and …

Great modern decor, cool atmosphere, very friendly service, room very clean, fantastic decor. In the bar which is available 24h you can play for free table football, snooker, and other games. Wifi is for free. There are also two computers and a gym. I highly recommend it.
j. m.
Staff really helpful front desk lady with curly hair went above and beyond to help. Rooms a bit small but great location 10min walk to George Sa, clean rooms. Bar and seating area very cool.
C.
Cannot fault the service or hotel. However for us the location was not familiar as we are used to staying more city centre. So that would maybe make us think twice about staying again. However, great experience and lovely brand we are big Marriott fans after getting married in a Marriott two years ago.
M.
Great stay for family, close to vibrant city Center for shopping, dining and entertainment. Lobby was quite cool and my family enjoyed playing pool and hanging out in the lounge. The early morning departure to the airport was streamlined by the staff
D. H.
Ok, so we've just spent a night at the Moxy and I can't give it full marks. It has a modern vibe and the reception lounge and bar area has an edgy feel. It is located on the eastern edge of the city centre in an area which is starting to come up in the world.
On arrival we were efficiently processed by the receptionist, though I was slightly taken aback by the need for £10 to be taken off my debit card - particularly when I was later told that it would take 5 working days for the refund to arrive back in my bank account.
If you park your car in the Duke Street car park, you can take your ticket to reception and get parking for £5 a night. It seems like a long drive from the hotel to the car park, but it's a 3 minute walk back to the hotel. Park on level 0 to minimise your walk.
Back at the hotel the bedroom was pleasant enough, compact but with a good sized bed. The en suite was small, but had everything you should need. In the shower the bottles of shampoo and body soap were bolted to the wall. The shampoo was ineffective for me - you might want to take your own. As is usual these days, hanging space is limited. There was a level of meanness with the teas & coffees: for each person one tea bag, one coffee and one milk. Surely it wouldn't cost that much to double up on the milk?
Star feature of the bedroom were the night lights which came on when you got out of bed, giving just enough illumination to move around the room without waking your partner.
My sleep was disturbed periodically by the noise of some machinery (possibly on the roof?) which ran for around 5 minutes then shut off, only to restart perhaps 40 minutes later.
We didn't try the breakfast, which at £12 each seemed rather expensive. There are plenty of better value cafés nearby.
The hotel bills itself as "affordable", but the Premier Inn is surely offering similar standards (though no edgy-ness) - but at half the price.
Would I stay here again? Possibly, but I'd look at what else was available at the same quality standards.
G. C.
A traveller's view of a modern, budget hotel brand like Moxy depends very much on how much they're paying per night in their dynamic pricing model. We have stayed at this hotel twice in a month and the second time was nearly three times as expensive as the first.
However, the serivice is consistent. Most Moxys are new build hotels and this is no exception having opened in November 2018. This means that the decor is still in good condition. You get one pillow/towel per person, so don't expect luxury. However touches like free coffee, tea and food warming facilities make this a very guest-friendly place to stay
The staff are informal, friendly and helpful which is also part of the Moxy brand.
M.
Fine hotel for quick night in Glasgow upon arrival and the night before going home. Good location. Hotel has young vibe- which is fine, however as a Silver Elite and Marriott Bonvoy VISA cardholder, I didn’t feel as though my loyalty to …

Excellent location, superb value for money and nearby car parking.
D.
Modern quirky decor with a nice atmosphere, staff are friendly and welcoming. The room was a good size for one person and very clean with a nice sized television the room also had USB charging sockets, welcoming cocktail and free tea and coffee.
K. W.
This is our second stay here at the moxy and it was great again. We had a lovely sleep the night before Xmas eve. Everything nice and clean friendly staff. Would be really nice if the rooms had tea and coffee facilities though.
E. “. M.
3mon old hotel, hip, cool and fun. Rooms are comfortable, clean, basic and small, bathroom minimally equipped with only soap. U r encouraged to spend time downstairs and social. Price is right, 80euro. Breakfast amazing but you pay.
B.
Have stayed here several times in the past year. The hotel is a great value and nice for the money. Trendy and a good location. However the staff is unfriendly and that hurts the overall experience
E. K.
Great price for the room you get, bed a little hard for my liking but wasn't uncomfortable.
We were given a free cocktail on arrival and sat in one of the coolest lounges I've ever been in.
B. R.
Grand little hotel. Cheap beer and pretty average food.
M.
Great place, reasonable prices, room warm, bed comfy, staff helpful when approached. A star dropped because there was a strong smell of dampness in the bathroom. I would stay again.
R. L.
Hipsters paradise.
Arty, modern and up-market. Rooms were small with little things you would normally take for granted like a bin and drawers missing, but still comfortable all the same. Location was good too.
Would stay again.

Stayed for a night. Rooms quite small but decorated nicely. The bar area is modern with giant jenga, snooker and table football to play, fun to come back to after some drinks. Would recommend.

Quite a funky industrial vibe hotel. Games & books in the lobby aling with a bar. Rooms were nice. A friend booked when visiting me as she thought it was central. It's not really a good 10 -15 mins walk into town. Not much food available just overpriced nibbles, which apparently were not very nice. Better off walking up the road to the chip shop or into town. Or get a deliveroo in.

Great hotel, staff so friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a brilliant location, all the bars and restaurants of Merchant City are on the doorstep. The bar is open 24hrs to residents with snacks available too. Very reasonable price too.

I would come back to the Moxy, pleasant stay and staff were very accommodating.
I have only one criticism, when we are staying at a hotel , we waken up and like …
L. S.
Stayed on New Years eve and it was a great price for that night, comfy bed, shame there's no bath but it more than makes up for it with good service and a decent breakfast! They let you take it to your room too.

A damn fine wee place to stop over. rooms are nice and the reception & bar area is great. Has a very nice atmosphere when sitting and chilling with drinks. The staff are happy and friendly folks
A.
The location of the hotel is perfect and ideal families and couples. Easy access to the city shopping center, public transport to access other parts of Scotland to visit historic sites, leisure, sightseeing and romantic.

Great hotel. I stay in many for work, first time in Moxy hotel and it was greate. Lovely appointed room, spotlessly clean, friendly staff, great breakfast, excellent areas to chill out, drink, socialise or even do some work. I'd highly recommend staying here and it's only 10mins walk from George Square.
D.
Very freindly staff room really good would defo come bk

Spent a couple of days in Glasgow while visiting Scotland and Ireland. The location was great, close to the city center and good nearby restaurant options! Make sure not to miss the Glasgow Cathedral and Glasgow Necropolis near the hotel, it was our favorite part of the city!
A.
I was sad to leave to be honest.
I was on my own but it didn't feel like it.
Hospitality from management to staff exceptional
N.
Good to live in........but the location is a little bit remote, I love the service
S.
Fantastic stay very friendly staff, rooms clean and tidy.
P. B.
Ok - hassle and self service if you want a tea or breakfast here. Pool table is cool but the whole place is a contrived and poor copy of the Ace Hotel and Citizen M. I prefer Raddison Red for Glasgow.
A.
We stayed for 2 nights for a family wedding in the city. This hotel was exactly what we required at a good price. It is also very close to the area of the city we like to spend time. We'd definitely stay again
D.
Stylish, boutique style hotel. Quite small rooms, however cosy and clean. Staff was ok, however customer service could be more professional and personal. Overall it was a good experience.
S.
Glasgow was dreich during my visit, but the Moxy presented a modern, clean and comfortable oasis. …
L.
Hotel was pretty quiet, internet was shocking. Party package basically meant we payed an extra £20 odd for a glass of diluting juice. Was t very impressed, have stayed in much better hotels in the city
S.
It’s 10/10 all round with prime location and excellent facilities and the best team of staff members anywhere it’s winner winner chicken dinner
G.
Had a nice stay loved the decor and location of hotel. Could be doing with some wardrobe space and tea and coffee in rooms..lovely and clean and bed was amazing.
J. S.
First time in Scotland and in a Moxy Hotel. Rooms are great, check in a breeze and the atmosphere amazing... In the heart of Glasgow everything is at your fingertips. Good value for money.
V.
Excellent location, clean functional room , nice staff
A.
The Moxy has a great location, warm and welcoming staff, fun lobby area, good food and drink options, cozy rooms, comfy bed and awesome decor for a very reasonable price. Looking forward to staying again.
E. L.
Fantastic hotel, friendly staff, clean room. What more could you want?
J. B.
Quiet good hotel, close to city centre, walking distance to shopping centre. Use Duke Street carpark for your car for flat rate £5 all day, just remember to validate ticket in hotel reception.
K.
Our stay at the hotel was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful and friendly to my dog. The lobby is a great place to sit and have a drink and chat.
S.

V. R.
Cool design, inespensive, close to almost everything you may want to visit.
Parking is tricky in the area - plan ahead. Hotel has a deal with one of local parking garages.
G.
The location of the Moxy in merchant city area was perfect. Close to shopping, restaurants and buses. Really good staff and helpful. Perfect accommodations for the end of a months trip through Scotland. Greg
H.
Fabulous stay, staff were attentive and friendly.
Hotel was stylish and it’s location encouraged a pleasant walk through the merchant city to The city centre
K.
I had a double room it was small and very basic, no kettle, fridge. However, it was spotless, warm and comfortable perfect for a night out in the city
L. C.
Nice quirky hotel and staff were helpful. Comfy bed and great value for money have already booked again!
F. M.

Great low cost hotel. Part of Marriott clean rooms, trendy bar and FREE car parking. Great location for anyone...business, holiday etc. Third visit
D.
There were some iffy comments on the internet but even allowing for a limited expectation we were well surprised, a very comfortable hotel with welcoming staff & a great vibe. A Moxy will be our first choice in any town we visit - worldwide. Yippee
M. W.
Very modern hotel with friendly staff and nice rooms. 24 hour bar is an added bonus, but didn't make it to breakfast!
B. B.
Love this hotel. Staff are great and I like the atmosphere and décor. Drinks are a little expensive though.

Another hotel in the Moxy chain, very convenient for the Merchant City and only 10 metres from High Street rail station.

The long and the short of it is this is probably best hotel in Glasgow, really modern design really cool atmosphere, loads to do means you're getting way more than your monies worth here.

A.
I really surprised about the style of the hotel and its managed by Marriott. Its high quality hotel in terms of building, staff support and cleanliness. I recommend it and worth trying this hotel.
B.
Excellent hotel, very different to the bland run of the mill brands. Comfy bed, clean room, and very friendly staff. What’s not to like?
W. M.
Very small rooms. No storage for clothes. Designed for one or two night stays only. Location is good and it's quite.
J. E.
Came here to stay as had Dantdm at the hydro, very friendly welcome & helpful, my room was for 2 nights, very clean & modern, fabulous big tv, youtube etc, had fantastic sleep, so good slept in for breakfast, receptionist found us a lovely breakfast diner 2 blocks away, I also ate in & the food was beautiful & great price, love the quirkiness & the air con was my savour in a warm july evening, brilliant shower and lovely towels & linen, just perfect.
A.
Good value hotel in a great location, friendly staff. Have used several times, have recommended to several others and would stay again.
S. H.
Great value. It's weird staying in what looks like a night club but upstairs was quiet beds were nice and it was clean.
T.
Clean hotel, great location. Bar staff need to learn some manners. I'd booked doubles for groups.
U.
Perfect hotel! Excellent location!! Strong shower!! Comfy bed!!!!
D. Y.
A clean and funky hotel. The rooms are very warm. Avoid a room at the front of the building on the road as it's very noisy.
L.
This hotel has been done up beautifully, unfortunately the area surrounding seemed a bit down trodden but the hotel is only a 10min wall to Centre, lovely staff and nice wee touch with welcome drink
C. V. B.
Very cool spot! Main lobby is very different in a very good way! Looks & is way laid back. Perfect for our stay! Bring on Marillion!
H. B.
Above hotel lovely staff clean but for some strange reason they have no phones in the room? Apart from that gripe it's a decent place to stay
H. M.
Really nice place to stay, only reason for not getting 5 stars is there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but other than that I will definitely stay again
A.
Great place to stay.
very convenient, clean and well spaced rooms.
Staff were superb.
J.
Funky hotel. Clean goodsized room. Plenty of amenities. Friendly helpful staff. Central location. Scottie dog friendly definitely worth a visit.
A.
The overall stay at the hotel was great. The only thing I could say about the hotel that the sofa bed was not the best for comfort.
V.
What a fantastic stay we have just had at the Moxy Glasgow. The birthday hook up was brilliant and I would like to thank all the staff for a memorable 50th birthday celebration
J.
Had a great overnight stay staff were amazing would definately go back

The hotel is nice. Staff is helpful but breakfast is poor. Bread was often freezing cold in the middle.
N. A.
Clean and modern rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. It is a very short walk to Merchant City with all the restaurants.
