Good value, a lot more character than most hotels in this price range. The reception staff where first-class, the breakfast good and sensibly priced. The room had loads of plug sockets, and was pretty large. Down sides, the floor was incredibly creaky, there was a bit of road noise and sometimes I could feel a bus make the room shake. I had a really good night's sleep, the bed was very comfy and I would definitely stay here again as it is so well located.

Staff friendly and helpful rooms spotless if on a small size. Our bathroom was almost the size of the bedroom ha ha. Only downside was really isn't suitable for anyone with mobility or health problems as due to age and history of this beautiful building there are no lifts. Our breakfast choice was first class and our cooked breakfast was tasty and warm. Definitely will return again as its central to the shopping malls and train station.

When entering the hotel, thought what have wee booked. Once inside we were given a warm welcome . Room was spotless, warm and very adequate for our needs. Decor had been repainted and could see that they were in the process of upgrading.
Breakfast room staff and breakfast was faultless for the price.
Excellent value all round! 😊🏴

Have stayed in this hotel a few time’s used to enjoy the free breakfast until they started charging for it. Some rooms are far superior to others we have always been given the older rooms which to be honest are a bit dated. Have had friends stay in far better rooms

Rennie Mackintosh was great for my visit back home, first time staying in a hotel with my son and I was concerned on his reaction.
Simply the staff from when we set foot into the hotel, Daniel, Sam, Patrick and Jimmy were awesome, went out of the way to make us feel welcome. Wish more hotels were like the Rennie.
Our room was on the third floor so the 24 nights we stayed there I got plenty of exercise as with the hotel being one of the oldest in Glasgow no elevators BUT I would do the stairs any day as my four year old son would race me up and down them every time and oddly he won, every time.
The location of the Rennie is central to most that the city center offers, even next to Glasgow Central train station, my son loves trains was at first really the reason I booked the Rennie, this changed after staying there a few days.
Our room met our needs completely YES not the comfort of home, can a hotel really mirror what you have back home..... no but most provide the basics and for the Rennie no compliments at our end.
Highlights for me was the outstanding service we experienced and the location as after our long adventures the hotel was handy for us upon coming home.(to the hotel at night)
Our room was in tip top shape and myself and my son, truly had a great stay at the Rennie.
The Rennie is going through a lot of changes and I’m sure glad we got to experience the hotel before she becomes a true gem to the city.
Enjoy your stay and say hi to the staff

Very very clean and spacious room... perfectly placed to see all the city.. very friendly staff and gorgeous old building. The quaint small bar was still serving a few guests till late and met some thoroughly enjoyable people there!! Very good value. Highly recommend.

Very nice simple rooms. Just what you need, at a very good price for being so central.
There was a constant humming noise in our room. Not sure if it was a heating system, or because the hotel is so close to the train station, but it did make it difficult to get to sleep.
That's my only little complaint. Very nice service and someplace I'd recommend and visit again.

The rooms are pretty small, some smaller than others (I could barely fit my luggage in the room, had no cupboard and space to hang 3 coats) and they need some upgrading (I believe some of the rooms have already been upgraded though.)
I found the staff extremely friendly and helpful which was nice as I had just moved to the city.
All in all, I found it to be slightly cramped. But I didn't intend to spend all my time in the room and the friendly gestures made my stay pleasant. For the average price per night I can't complain too much and if I get the chance too look at the new rooms I'll update my rating accordingly.
5/5 Staff (Feels like a 5 star hotel service)
3/5 Room (Building age considered, could still do better, cupboards, hanging space and a chair should be a standard)
2/5 Luxury (Chairs in lounge area are falling apart, beds need replacing and walls could do with some repainting)
(Based on value for money)
Summary: Good place to stay if you're on a budget.

Great location, just around the corner from Glasgow Central, and 5mins walk from Queen Street Station. Hotel staff good. Rooms are basic, but cleaned every day. Bit tired. Can't comment on the breakfast, as I didn't have one. No lift, so not for people with disabilities. Would stay again for the sheer location.

Staff were friendly upon arrival, there's no lift as far as i could tell, just a spiral staircase. Our room was absolutely lovely, had a view of Union street, was clean, tidy, and a good size. There was a kettle, tv, free wifi etc. I would 100% recommend this hotel i thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

My husband and I have really had a great time at this hotel. We stayed four nights and we really enjoyed it. The premises have been newly refurbished and the result is stunning. The rooms are really comfortable and well equipped, even the light design has been thought. Cherry on the cake, you will enjoy the free coffee (Latte, Capuccino, etc.) in the lobby.
Some downsides though that you might want to consider, the hotel is in a very old building and, therefore, you won't have lifts, which is pretty annoying when you have pieces of luggage with you. Also, the area is pretty loud but that's the ramson to pay when you are so central I guess?
Except these two, that's definitely a place we recommend!
Enjoy your stay!

Room was pretty spacious for a 3-person room, separate single beds for us. Beds were comfortable and location was good. No working heating unit that we could tell, and washroom was freezing, and the wifi was spotty. Service was a bit cold, but warmed up in the morning.
P. V.
It was a nice place to stay for 6 nights. We had a quiet room in the back section of the hotel. We had a spacious room with a nice bathroom. Maid service everyday. The only problem was the water was hot in the shower, we had the water turned all the way to cold, and the toilet didn't flush properly, we told them. Staff was very nice, location was very good. Price was good and I would go back again.

Booked this hotel through late rooms for a one night stay in a twin room to attend a concert in Glasgow. Very reasonable rate, comfortable clean bed's and we had a spacious en suite bathroom with shower. Had a few drinks in the small bar, and the staff were very friendly. Fantastic central location. Exactly what I would expect from a 3 star establishment and would use again.

Very old hotel. I want to give 2 reviews I will start with the good points. Rooms very modern although small. Private safe mini fridge flat screen television. Beautiful bathroom fantastic shower. Has been recently updated. Cleanliness is perfect. Staff excellent very accomodating. Continental
Breakfast is ok. Smoking area is on main Street not Very safe at night. S lot of homeless and drug addicts lots of noise. The hotel has no lift. So I had to walk down and up three flight's to get a smoke. This hotel is not suitable for anyone who has troublwalking.kpoints smok

I LOVED my stay here and this hotel. It felt like living in a part of history!!
It was well decorated and kept up and our room was clean and well appointed. The staff were amazing and I felt it was well worth my money.
It did get loud at times, but it IS in the middle of the city. I had similar experiences in Barcelona's Ramblas area.
Loved this place and would definitely come back again!
J. W.
Good location and nice included breakfast. However, rooms have poor sound insulation and very noisy pipes, so noise from the streets and other rooms will keep you up all night if you are a light sleeper. Fixtures and furniture are old and a bit run down.
W. T.
Lovely hotel all done out with Rennie MacIntosh decor. Great location, beside Central Station. Nice staff. Really good breakfast freshly cooked.
Only downsides are there is no lift and a few undesirables hanging about outside at all hours - one tried to get in the security door once we'd passed through but we were aware of, and prepared for his intentions.
Otherwise, a good place to visit an amazing and diverse city.
A. W.
Me and my partner are currently staying in the rennie mackintosh hotel due to us having to leave our house and the simon community put us in here so thank you soo much for this especially during this pandemic. The staff are lovely if it wasnt for this hotel we dont know where they would of put us probs so grateful 😇❤
t. m.
Great little hotel right in the heart of the city centre adjacent to Central Station. Rooms are a little dated but clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. Would use again. Be aware the entrance is up two short flights of stairs and no lift.
P. T.
Nice clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast and lovely staff. They were very helpful and made us very welcome. Would definitely stay in this hotel again.
H. W.
A comfortable hotel, handy for visiting Glasgow. There are rather a lot of steps so not suitable for everyone. We had one of the new rooms on the fourth floor, compact and suitable for a short break. Staff are lovely and very helpful as well as knowledgable. Breakfast was more than enough with an excellent choice. Would return for a short stay.
E. A.
The room was clean and comfortable, but for the motive I was expecting something slightly bigger...
Also there are no lifts so of you're on the top floor with large luggage it can be a bit difficult
S. F.
It was a pleasant experience. Everywhere was beautifully clean. The room sadly, for us, only had one chair.
Breakfast was great, plentiful, lots of variety, help yourself to continental as much as you like, and/or order a cooked breakfast.
The staff are very pleasant and helpful.
Bed and ensuite tieded every day.
For me I loved it all, except the shortage of a lift!!!.
Every room oozed Macintosh.
An experience not to be missed

Nice, cheap and comfortable place just behind the Glasgow Central Station. The staff is very friendly and always available for any request. There is a quiet common room with little tables and armchairs, and also a little bar for your drinks. Rooms are cleaned and tidied up daily. If I come again in Glasgow, I'll surely book here. PS: there isn't a lift and the hotel is divided on 3 floor.
R. P.
Comfortable, tidy and very clean rooms. Staff are amazing. Very friendly and attentive. Nice breakfast. Only slight minus is we were on the top floor and there is no lift...but age, layout and historics of the building factor into this. Very centrally located. Station a few minutes away. Would definatly stay again.
S. B.
Entry is between two buildings of a flight of stairs. Parking is within a 5 minute walk in Q car park which you will get a discount on for £8 for 24 hours. Beautiful-looking place. The room we had cost £90 and came with a massive shower, heated mirror in bathroom, kettle with tea and coffee, a safe and even a fridge. Beautiful lighting and even surround sound which also went into the bathroom. The view from the view from the window was awful as it was looking down on to part of a building with hole in its roof. We did a request a quiet room so we did get a quiet. However keeping in mind that it is right next to a train station and clubs. Unfortunately I have had to give it only three stars due to how much I was upset about the massive gap between the front door and the hallway which anyone could look under and between the bathroom door I have attached photos. When mentioning this when they asked how I style was they didn't really seem to think that this was an issue. Continental breakfast amazing, loads of choice. Full cooked Scottish breakfast didn't seem very Scottish and wasn't all that well cooked but by far definitely not the worst. For staying you get your second drink in the bar half price. A small bottle of Prosecco cost around £7. Which I thought wasn't too bad for a hotel. The lounge where food is served is quite small so make sure you're the first to get down there or you may have to wait your turn. I really really wish I could have given this place a 5-star but due to the gaps in the doors and the factors when mentioned it seems like we were just being brushed off, I have unfortunately had to settle it with a 3 star rating. However if privacy is not something that you were entirely bothered about definitely go with a five-star and opt for continental breakfast. The staff dealing with the food were particularly loverly.
H. B.
Great location for travel, very close to central station, good price, room was basic but had everything we needed, the only drawback was the stairs, however the young lady at reception helped us with our cases which was great. Staff are friendly and helpful. Didn't have breakfast but did have coffee in the sitting room which is available any time. Would definitely book again.
K. S.
I stay in a lot of identikit chain hotels when travelling so staying in this charming hotel full of character was a real treat!
Yes, it's not for the different abled because of the stairs but they warn you about that.
The room was cosy with good facilities and I enjoyed a quiet evening in the lounge with a good book and free tea, coffee and fruit water.
The real cherry on the cake for me was breakfast. Being dairy and gluten free, I often miss out when travelling. However, after a short email warning them ahead of time, I was given soy milk, dairy free margarine and gluten and dairy free bread: all unopened and obviously bought just for me.
Stunning customer care!
J. P.
The hotel is right next to the train station do perfect if travelling by train. The shops are all close by as well as restaurants and bars. Check in from 1pm and an early check out at 1030. There is space to store luggage but not a secure luggage room. The rooms are basic but clean. The beds are comfortable and cosy. Overall good value for the money.
J. H.
Pretty good place to stay, reasonable and comfortable with a nice breakfast. Very central. A bit noisy on the street side Fri and Sat, so look for a room at the back at weekends!
J. P.
The hotel was well kept and pretty tidy.
The room was a bit dark and small, but it was fairly cheap so I will let if off for that.
I did find it difficult to find at first, When I arrived I knew my room had already been paid for as this was through work. But the receptionist insisted that it had not been paid, as it was late and I had been on the train all day I decided to pay on my personal card. when she checked to get me a receipt she found the receipt from the payment that my work had already sent through earlier that day. So the reception then had to refund me the money I had just paid. This whole situation would have been avoided if the receptionist had made the checks to begin with.
TL:DR not happy with the service from reception. Room is a bit dark and small.
S. H.
Stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms. Lovely wee room. Handy to have a small fridge in the room. Only downfall was being on the 4th floor which was a struggle for my partner who has arthritis in his knees. Would definitely stay here again as the location couldn't have been more central.
J. J.
This hotel is very nice and comfortable the rooms vary the room I am in is very good kept up to good standards. There is a dinning room for breakfast only continental & Scottish cooked breakfast the staff are very helpful, friendly from the reception staff to all the others
P. W.
Good clean hotel centrally located. Extremely steep staircase might not suit if you have mobility problems, as there is no lift. Competitively priced.
N. G.
Beautiful hotel in listed building, very clean, absolutely wonderful staff, couldn't have been more helpful. Fabulous city centre location, would definitely book again and 100% recommend. Parking less than one minute walk and half price, included in the hotel booking
S. D.
We only stayed 1 night. Staff were really friendly. Continental Breakfast really good choice. Only downfall was no lift so the amount of stairs to our room was really a strain for me as asthmatic.
J. R.
Great city centre hotel, lovely rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was very nice and at a high standard. I will definitely stay again when I next visit Glasgow.
A. F.
Quiet location. The breakfast was good and was included with the room. The staff was friendly and helpful with places in the local area. The manager was VERY helpful and easy to work with. Will go back again.
L. M.
Excellent location and continental breakfast is included. It is worth upgrading to a full Scottish breakfast for only £3 a day to keep yourself fuelled up for the day. At least part of the building is one of the oldest in Central Glasgow, being part of the old town that was largely demolished when the railway arrived and the current grid pattern of streets was laid down.
A. W.
The rooms were small and dated, but the staff were fantastic. The breakfast was specially done for us,as we wanted a quick dart.
J. M.
Rennie Mackintosh decor and windows authentic and excellent! Great location at Glasgow Central Railway Station, clean and well equipped, good breakfast selections, friendly staff. Bear in mind there are no lifts so bags must be carried to upper levels.
M. G.
This centre of town hotel with a Rennie Mackintosh theme is adjacent to the Central Station. Very reasonable prices can be obtained for excellent, if moderately sized, ensuite double rooms. Parking is 400 metres away and you get it for half price. Really good hotel for rail travellers.
A. M.
Central, reasonably priced, clean and comfortable with excellent fresh cooked breakfast and friendly staff. Still a few bits of maintenance going on and you have to be ok with stairs (there are quite a few and no lift due to age and layout of the building).
P. C.
Next to train station.. Communal areas mackintosh style ,breakfast room very chic...reception up one flight of stairs, my room up another flight. Comfortable double overlooking back ,no view but didn't really expect one..Saturday night some noise! But its a city centre ,take ear plugs.
A. P.
Ideally located right in the centre with easy access to public transport, shops and bars.
Reasonably priced rooms were basic but clean and tidy with staff both helpful and polite. Breakfast offered a good selection with cooked breakfast plentiful and made to order.
D. C.
Decent place to get your head down for the night in the heart of Glasgow. On the same street at Central station you can't miss it. Close enough but far enough away from the late night pubs and clubs. Rooms decent for the price I suppose. 24 hour manned reception is a bonus.
A. L. H.
The hotel needs an urgent renovation but relatively it is ok. We had all that we wanted and for the reasonable price it is an unbeatable place for a night or two.
In addition, the cooked breakfast was really great! We were full amd happy.
T. E.
Had a great stay here. Fantastic location, and no frills accommodation was perfect for our needs. Nice staff also.
T.
Good budget hotel in the centre of Glasgow. The place was clean, staff welcoming, breakfast an unexpected pleasure as we had the hot meal served by very pleasant efficient staff in a lovely Rennie Mackintosh inspired room. Plenty of towels, comfortable bed, what's not to like? If you're expecting 5-star Dorchester, this isn't it - but it's great for people on a tight budget (which we were) and better than other low-cost hotels in Glasgow we've stayed in.
M. L.
Great location but VERY LOUD if you get a street window. TV signal was poor (or maybe tv was broken), shower had either boiling water or almost no water flowing, room renovation next door lasted all day but we weren't informed so had to deal with noise all day.
V. C.
I stayed in the RM on July 28th. Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Small rooms, but nice and great value. The bed was perfect and I slept well. Would definitely book again. Perfect location too (at central station).

F. R.
not impressed . double room was no more than a large single . there are no lifts. trying to get 2 large suitcases up the stairs was no mean feat . we are both pensioners .must admit clean & tidy .
P. W.
Great location , nice clean hotel. Friendly staff. Only downside is a rather steep staircase, but don't let that put you off.
A. A.
Cheap place to stay in the centre of Glasgow. Staff were friendly and it was easy to get around the city. Outside late at night it did not feel safe as there were a lot of young people loitering and police vans.
n. _.
The hotel was nice and simple
Very good location (there were stores like Poundland and Sainsbury nearby) there were also Fraser and Debenham department stores within a 5 min walk.
Although there were no lifts/elevators, the receptionist was very kind to help us carry our luggages. Free drinks (hot choco, coffee, etc.) were also provided during our stay
Overall, a nice hotel
E. B.
Friendly staff. Fantastic cooked breakfast at a small surcharge of £3; worth every penny. Comfortable and clean rooms and the hotel could not be closer to the station.
C. -.
They had a massive scaffold covering the entry so was difficult to find, they had no elevator and we had to pull our luggage up a flight of stairs before we reached reception to help us. By the time we got in we were tired and exhausted from our trip and was a bit disappointed with the layout of room which was under stairs
K. W.
Over from Belfast for gig at Hydro with my daughter's. Hotel perfect central location within walking distance of everything we needed. Staff @ Hotel were v friendly and helpful. I would return x
L.
Have a cab bring you to the door because it might be easily missed, blending in with the bustle of Union Street. Was warmly greeted at reception one flight up, even helped with my heavy baggage (this charming historic building has no elevator). My cozy hideaway was on the 4th (top) floor, for one person it's perfection. My room was very obviously recently redone, with "eat off the floor" cleanliness. Smart, thoughtful design - you have everything you could ask for - even a small fridge and hairdryer mounted just under a mirror. The double room looks exactly as it does in the pictures. Bed was super-comfortable. I'm a heavy sleeper so the street noise didn't bother me; the renovations included new windows to reduce noise. For the price and location - you will not find anything better in Glasgow.
C. M.
Lovely visit and stay, friendly staff and service, clean and comfortable accommodation they are in process of updating new part of Hotel not for the unfit but if you want History of Glasgow experience, this is the place. 10 out of 10
G. L.
Its in a decent location. We were in a room facing Union Street on a Saturday night with windows that didnt close properly so could hear a lot going on outside. Room was fairly clean. If you can get a room cheap enough then its ok for a night.
M. M.
Used during pandemic crisis.. can't fault the staff.. not ideal rating something under the current climate. Staff do a good job though
C. M.
Great Central placed hotel right next grand Central station, good location, Old Hotel with no lift so you'll struggle with cases up the staircase, sound proofing not great, creaky floors, basic bathroom with shower (curtains), our room was cold even with radiator on full due to draft from window, shower was hot at night but when I had one in morning it was cold despite me turning it up to max, hotel does breakfast £9 extra, and has bar facilities, unfortunately didn't get a lot of sleep due to Rod Stewart fans across from room (management did tell them to keep noise down), not hotels fault but like most people that stay in hotels you get some who respect the privacy of guests at night and you get some that don't, check in is 1.30pm which is good checkout is 10.30am,
P. P.
Very tired rooms. Floors are warped due to the age of the building. No lifts for prams or wheel chairs. We had to help a couple carry their child's push chair up the stairs
E. M.
Great place to stay. Stairs a bit of a work out. Newly done up rooms very well done and leeping in the style of McIntosh street
R. M.
This hotel was good I liked it but we were on the top floor and the shower was cold we couldn't get the shower to run warm but that's a miner thing apart from that it was great 👍👍
E. G.
Amazing staff are great and friendly nice rooms 👍 food was ok would go back and stay anytime great hotel 🏨
j. a.
Value for money; central location; cleanliness; discount on parking; good breakfast; helpfulness of staff; room modernised; need to be aware of stairs (no lift due to historic bldg)
H. T.
Easy access to town centre, very pleasant and helpful staff , rooms spacious and very clean , all we needed for shopping trip ,would definitely stay here again .
p.
Good central location and a surprisingly good breakfast. No lift, room not cleaned well.staff friendly. Don't expect frills at that price!
L. N.
Lovely customer service, room very clean and comfortable and great breakfast. Would certainly use the hotel again.
S. G.
Large group stayed, mixed opinion. Waterworks, dependant on room, no disabled access. However, staff very helpful and supportive.
T. O.
Excellent location outside central station I advise booking and going for the upgraded rooms which are excellent value for money and comfortable continental breakfast included or for a small fee a full cooked Scottish breakfast .
J. K.
Great place. Good beds, big shower. Nice breakfast.Right in the centre next to the train station
M. K.
Beds are a bit old, and you can hear the noise of the city through the night, but we had a big room, clean towels, bottles of water, coffee, tea, and great service every day.
p. g.
Friendly and very helpful staff, hotel feels old and worn, bedroom was clean and tidy, but looking aged and in need of a bit of TLC.
M. M.
Great little hotel that at cheap prices, was perfect for our 1 night stay. The stairs are a bit of a killer though
A. W.
staff polite decoration in new annex fab old part of hotel rooms very dated big concern as building very old no lift big problem for us with an elderly relative ok if young and fit
M. M.
It was very clean staff very attentive but hotel in need of a revamp outside very noisy at night due to a south African club next door and crowds gather outside the main entrance but all in all it was a nice stay
H. B.
Perfect other than the horrible heat on the 4th floor. Thankfully there was an issue with the tiolet so we were moved to floor 3 which had been renevated. We happened to visit during a heat wave!
s. t.
A nice cozy place to stay. Although they do not have lifts or wheelchair access but the staff is very friendly n cooperative.
S. (.
Lovely little hotel, stay here when visiting Glasgow. No lift so if you have bags it's a climb up the stairs.
К. Ч.
Just wonderful. Comfortable bathroom, room, great breakfast. Wifi is a bit slow, but survivable
I. M.
Very nice room. Complimentary teas, coffees in the lounge was a very nice touch. Very convenient for shops and station.
D. S.

J. W.
Staff lovely room nice breakfast was amazing and loving the idea of complementary tea coffee really good 🌝
K. T.
Would have been very good but twin room I booked was not available so we had to accept two single rooms
N. G.
Pleasant small hotel close to Central Station, note no lift so if on top floor quite a climb.
A. M.
I asked to.be moved from the 4th floor to another floor, which they done very quickly, nice overnight stay but wouldnt recommend it for more than 1-2 nights
k. l.
Very nice hotel, welcoming, clean, free WiFi and it's right in the centre of town Whitch is perfect
C. B.
It's not very hard to walk past it given that the entrance is a not-so-extravagent door. However once you get in it is a fairly nice hotel that has a little t of character.
A. C.
Very good location, the building is a bit old, but you get your money's worth. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.
A. E.
Clean, good continental breakfast, wifi very bad in my room, no lift which makes carrying luggage very hard to the 3rd or 4th floor rooms
M. G.
Fantastic love this hotel great location for city centre friendly staff .Breakfast was ok
R. F.
Cannot fault the hotel, a bit better than your regular "budget" hotel, and more character than a prmier/travel lodge. Highly recommended
M. S.
Very helpful staff but in hotel without an elevator it is really hard to carry a suitcase on the last floor.
G. W.
A very handy hotel in Glasgow, ideal for shopping or going to museums and concerts. Car park just nearby.
D. L.
Really nice hotel stay. I think it's recently refurbished. Friendly staff.

N. D.
You get what you pay for. Very cheap hotel in a central Glasgow location. Right beside Glasgow Central Station and a couple minutes walk from Glasgow's main shopping streets.
n. s.
Great hotel and scottish breakfast. Old building on a noisy main street lets it down
L. K.
Great hotel right in the heart of Glasgow rooms good value

(Translated) All perfect. Excellent treatment, and without any problem. Quality breakfast but little varied. The rooms on the top floor are small, but enough. The rooms with heating and the bathroom almost bigger than the room itself. The only bad thing is that there is no elevator, and to climb the suitcases sometimes costs.

(Translated) It is convenient near the station.
Both the room and the shower room were beautiful.
The staff's response was also nice and friendly.
The interior was nice above all, and the heating was reasonably good.
There is no elevator, so it's hard to climb the stairs with a lot of luggage.
Except for such points, it is a tasteful hotel.
Breakfast was also delicious.
(Original)

(Translated) The hotel is really central, close to Glasgow's main station. Disadvantage is they have no elevator, very small room and the bed I think had 140 cm for two people !! The building and hotel need a good renovation. The staff is friendly. Conclusion: if you are going to know Glasgow with the train this hotel is very practical, but please do not walk with a lot of luggage but you will spend your time climbing stairs !!
(Original)

(Translated) Very central and very friendly staff. Small rooms and a bit old bathroom, in fact one of the toilets broke, but they moved us to a much more modern room. Abundant and varied breakfast. Recommendable.

Muy céntrico y el personal muy amable. Las habitaciones pequeñas y el baño un poco antiguo, de hecho uno de los sanitarios se rompió, pero nos trasladaron a ptra habitación mucho más moderna. Desayuno abundante y variado. Recomendable.

(Translated) Of the minuses: the room did not have any closet, things had to be stored in a suitcase. The room was pretty cool. In addition, the stairs are very inconvenient to climb with a suitcase, but this is a claim to the architects of the building, and not to the hotel.
From the pros: nice staff.
(Original)

(Translated) Very nice hotel! Great location, right next to Central Station and close to the tube, as well as being in the center of Glasgow. Room very comfortable. The only detail is the absence of elevators because of the age of the building, but it only has 4 floors. Even so, the staff is helpful and helpful. A great choice in Glasgow!

A chain store renovated from an old hotel in a Macintosh style.
I stayed in a single in May.
The rooms are fairly large and the heating works.
The shower is quite narrow as if it were a refurbished closet.
Macintosh paintings are adorned here and there,
The restaurant was like that.
