T. R.Only stayed 1 night before appointment at Glenfield Hospital, 2 miles away! Warm, clean and tidy. No complaints and would recommend from my short stay. My wife going back there when I'm admitted! Blackbird pub/eatery easy walk away.
J. H.Very good value for money if you spend most of your day outside. City center is 22 mins away on-foot, and plenty of transportation options. Big market stores are within walking distance as well.

E. A.Nice, little and quiet hotel. The staff is super nice and helpful. The WiFi can be a little bit patchy but I didn't need it a lot so no complaints there. Clean room, comfortable bed and a nice little bathroom. It's located across from the Abbey Park which is very convenient for a walk, and there's also Asda, Aldi, Home Bargains and The Range quite close to it. Definitely recommend!

B. S.The Abbey Hotel by far is a very nice hotel. The staff are very friendly especially the young lady in charge that wears religious clothing. The lobby is well decorated but was very warm. However the room was much cooler and had a electric fan. The bedding was fresh and crisp.
Overall it was a pleasant stay. Unfortunately the hotel do not own the car park. The young lady had advised me to park on the side street. Parking was free.
M. F.I have now stayed at the Abbey Hotel twice, on both occasions, I was greeted with a warm smile. The inside is very clean, the sitting area is also very clean. The room was a nice size and warm, the 1st time, staying the 2nd time (last night) with the heat, my room had a electric fan, which I was very pleased. The bathrooms are lovely and clean also. I would stay there again.
A. R.I stayed a couple of nights at this hotel. The place is not properly central, nevertheless it’s just 10 minutes by walk. The room was quite suited for one person: clean and well furnished with several towels. However, the presence of a tiny little window and its very thin walls (I heard someone snoring) would not make the habitat liveable for more than a couple of days. From my small talks with the staff I can say they were quite friendly, although I don’t understand why the guy i spoked with on my first night was so insistent with explaining the usage of the keycard. FYI, in my room there was no fridge, but I didn’t need it hence I don’t know if they provide some downstairs.

(Fairly comfy bed, free wifi, TV, lots of plugs, heater, hangers for clothes etc)
The shower unfortunately did not get hot when used but the taps on the sink did, and if you are of a larger stature you WILL have problems sitting on the toilet.
Basically the bathroom is tiny in every aspect.
The staff however are the best thing about this hotel as they bent over backwards to help us upon arrival.
The lack of any parking does make staying here a real challenge though.
S. Y.I booked a room for 3 nights at the Abbey Hotel in the summer of 2018. I was greeted by the lovely receptionist Farhana , she was very Comforting and friendly. Check in was very quick. The manager had upgraded me for free to a standard room. The rooms look exactly like the pictures shown online. The stay was very pleasant. Highly recommend. Surely will be going back to The Abbey Hotel.
G. S.The hotel was clean and tidy as it was newly refurbished by the looks of it. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and friendly as well.
The reason for the 3 stars was for the fact that the room was the size of a broom cupboard. We stayed with friends and our room compared to theirs was half the size, but the same price. The bathroom was so small, the door would not open fully as it was obstructed by the sink and there was only just enough room to walk around the bed, and don't get me started on the fact that the only window in the room looked out to the hallway??!?!?
If you want a cheap and clean place to stay whilst in Leicester, then this place is worth a look, just make sure you ask for one of the bigger rooms (and take your own pillows as they were awful).
3 stars for cleanliness and staff service as these were excellent.
S. B.Was really modern and comfy bed and lovely room. The only reason it's not a 5 is because there was stains on the mattress cover and hairs that looked like dogs hair?? It's a shame because this is my second stay I really like this hotel and do recommend it i suppose just check the condition of the bed sheets because I only hope they're getting changed properly!!

P. 1.Excellent services. The beautiful receptionist was very kind and friendly. The manager has good manners to take my bags up to my room. The couple put in 100% at all times and support eachother which is nice to see. The rooms were clean and cosy. The amazing couple never fail to please me. Trusted hotel.
Personal preference : Abbey hotel can compete with hotels like ramada encore. Abbey hotel is better than the ibis hotel, travel lodge and campanile.
The hotel just needs to introduce breakfast. Which the staff have said its in progress.
N. M.I had booked a room at the abbey hotel due to an event at the space centre. I had chosen the hotel prior to the good reviews and pictures. I turned up to the premises and I was terrified as the day was so gloomy & dark , the hotel was not appealing at all. I had knocked on the door too see a young lady (fahana/rahana) smiling telling me to pull the door. Instantly She had realised I had many things to hold and immediately helped me. Her warm conversation and beautiful smile effectively made me feel so relieved and comfortable. Check in was very quick. Room was small but clean. The bed was extremely cosy. Also the male receptionist had been kind enough to help with my bags on check out. Rooms do look like the pictures shown online.
Would I stay at the Abbey hotel again? Absolutely! My stay was good!

G.I was very surprised,upon walking in I was greeted by a lovely man who made me feel very welcome.He carried my luggage to my room,and upon arrival he told me he had upgraded my room free of charge. The room was very comfortable and very clean.The price was excellent,I had a really good nights sleep,no noise or issues.The only problem I had but wasnt the hotels fault,there was a big spider in the shower,and me being a huge pansy was too scared to share the shower with it Haha.Highly recommend this place.
T. R. G. o. L. J.Never judge a book by its cover. Yet again my stay at the Abbey Hotel was magical. The owners Farhana and her husband Aslarm have never failed to please us. She had everything in control. Honestly she had made my stay during Christmas so magically and she hadn’t failed on my second and third stay. I always come back because of the staff and Farhana she is the Gem of the Abbey hotel and the Hostees with the mostees. The rooms are really nice and clean. They have everything a high end hotel should have. Very affordable. Highly recommend ask for farhana she is the plug. 10/10.

I call directly and she always gives me a reasonable price for my stay. The rooms are nice and cosy. They are building a cafe once that is ready the hotel will look very much complete. No trouble finding parking you can park the car on the side street. Highly recommend!!

Darren and I have never felt so comfortable at a hotel, like how we did at the abbey hotel. We were welcomed into a warm cosy hotel by the owners azland and farna they were extremely positive and friendly at all times. The couple are doing so well in pleasing ALL CUSTOMERS! Me & Darren had stayed in G6 which was a very clean and nice. We had also extended our stay for 1 more night. Farna had given me a better price for the room than prices shown online. However We hadn't had the chance to thank the staff for the fantastic services. We would love to be guests for the love birds again as they have the hotel up to date, also the romantic aroma created by the pair was eroctic 😍. The enthusiasm the couple have for the hotel is to praise for. They say passionate couple have passionate sex😉(A&F).
I am looking forward for my next stay.

S. A.My company booked me a room last week! Id describe the hotel as a fancy budget hotel. The staff are lovely. I walked in to the hotel to a beautiful smile from the receptionist Farna. The manager Az had helped me take my bags up. The romantic atmosphere created by the working love couple was blissful. Reminded me of me and my partner. Home for a home. So far best budget hotel in Leicester.
P.s Az the manager had also given me a upgrade for free. Had a good night sleep.

N. C.Lovely hotel clean and tidy. Freindly helpful staff. I contacted the hotel and spoke to Farhana who gave me a discount which was cheaper than online price. They do breakfast which cost between £5 - £6.50 however the breakfast is not cooked at the hotel it is catered for. Unfortunately i can't comment on the breakfast as breakfast is not available on Sundays. However there is coffee and tea in the room. We will definately be coming back to the Abbey Hotel. I would say that it is the best hotel I my budget in Leicester.i would like to thank all the staff for all there help.

T. L.Abbey Hotel is my second home. I'm there at least 2-4 times In a month. The beds are certainly very comfortable and the rooms are clean. The city centre is round the corner and abbey park is opposite the hotel so there's a lot to do during the day. Also can I just make it clear in how friendly and adorable the receptionist Fahana is; Always smiling and never fails to help. Her partner
is very well mannered he also works along side and manages the entire hotel. The couple both help each other and maintain excellent services for the customers. I come to Leicester to visit my friends & family , I only stay at the Abbey Hotel as it's an trusted hotel.

N. T.Clean and comfortable. Bathroom like a fridge as no heating in there. Had to leave bathroom door open to get heat from the bedroom. Staff friendly and helpful. Decent for an overnight stay if working in the area.
