We only stayed the one night, but it did it's job perfectly. The room was clean all round, the beds were comfy and the noise was minimal.
There isn't much around, but there is a small Tesco Express within walking distance, 2mins, and there is a country type pub next door, but there was no noise coming from it.
The member of staff on the reception desk was really polite and welcoming, which made staying here that little bit better, so all in all, a good night with no complaints.

OK for a Christmas break for one night but we had very noisy neighbors and the door separated rooms, didn't help. Shower was grubby.
Could do with a bit of a re fresh with decor.
Handy for our parents and still good value.

Its a very clean small friendly unit. Free parking, pub/restaurant next door and convenience stores within a short walking distance.

Got this at a good price a week before the Friday night stay. Arrived quite late due to roadworks but no issues with the time of arrival. Good car parking with plenty of space and more round the back. At some point bathroom redone changing from bath to a shower. Everything clean and ok. Pub was next door if you wanted food etc.
Slightly disappointed that there was no power or usb by bed but the desk had plenty of power points, and TV was decent with HDMI inputs.
Room came with 2 reasonably comfy casual chairs. Plenty of floor space if wanting to do exercises etc and storage area by the door.
Surprisingly rooms still used key for room for and also main entrance.
Quite a quiet area just outside Leicester convenient for nearby events.
Shame no basic WiFi included in price

Room was nice and clean, also smelt it lovely.
We had missing items in our room but the friendly gent called Jit on reception quickly a efficiently sorted it out, thank you very much.
Bed very comfy and there was an assortment of pillows and the water was also nice and hot.
Good value for money.
Thank you.

Nice rooms nice staff, but the walls are very thin I thought I was at an aquarium at one point with the two seals clapping next door... well at least I think it was seals 🤔

Although the staff were super-friendly & the area was nice, the hotel was quite dated & a little worn down; not bad for the price, but I wouldn't seek it out again

Nice helpful and polite staff but rooms looking a bit on the used and tired side now. Needed a good vacuum/ hoover as dirty under beds, but tea and coffees ready and shower nice and hot . Not the best that me and family have stayed in but definitely not the worst !!!!

Decided to extend my stay for one more night but if I booked at reception I'd need to show 2 forms of ID yet when I booked it online (in front of the receptionist) it was just a normal procedure. Admin, giving ingenious solutions to problems that shouldn't exist.

great stay and lovely help from the receptionist charley , she was so lovely and helpful
R. L.
Cheap price for the night. Asked for a room with a bath, no complaints done in seconds. Lovely receptionist. Room sparkling clean, lovely temperature, great facilities. Exactly what you want when staying in a hotel

Good hotel. Nice and clean, staff are professional.

The building is ready for a refurbishment but really clean.
The staff really make up for this. I've never had such helpful and nice staff at a budget hotel. They could all be silver service.
Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Clean rooms and comfy beds. Still only 30 mins free WiFi though, what's that all about. In this day and age it's not good and that's why we normally go to a premiere Inn. Also no glasses in the bathroom, but a bottle opener on the side of the dresser, a bit bizarre. But a good night's sleep anyway
D. W.
Great nights sleep, good food at the pub next door..

No problems here, I normally stay in a Holiday inn or premier inn, but I chose this Travelodge as it had a pub and food next door and it was close to the M1 for the next day also there was plenty of free on site parking.
The lady on the reception and other staff were friendly and helpful.
The room seemed to of had a refit and all was great , shower great, free view tv great, the room was very clean and the bed very comfy.
If you can get a rear room as the front rooms could be noisy with the traffic etc.
The rooms are not as well sound proofed as say a premier Inn but you get what you pay for and the price was 50% cheaper then other Inns.
The pub next door is large and and the food I had was great for the price.
I would stay here again.

Room and service was good but the wall between my room and the next was plasterboard. People in the next room didn't care about the noise they were making. The walls were so thin I could hear their phone buzzing when they recieved a text, not good. Also could clearly hear them plugging in phone chargers ect and flicking the switches on.

Lovely stay, nothing was a problem for the staff. We were next to a room with a couple of builders who thought belching, making animal noises and singing Kate Bush songs at the top of voices was funny! Well it was but not if your trying to chill out. Staff moved us no probs whatsoever and left them to it.. 👍 👍 👍 👍 Highly recommended..

Bed was okay, but pillows not great. Also you can tell the bathroom floor had been repeatedly mopped with very dirty water, and there were stains around the walls too.
Y. R.
Room was spotless and even the breakfast box was good, the room had a fan too. But other customers were loud with letting doors bang, which seemed like every 5 mins. Walls are paper thin 🙄🤐

Hotel on first impressions looks good and without being too critical it's the little things that have dropped the score. No lock on bathroom irks me, internet is not free and after paying you find that its painfully slow and pretty much useless at times. Family room spare bed is like sleeping on the ground, the bed is painfully hard. However, staff was lovely on booking in and hotel looks to be in reasonable order for an old building.
M. T.
Friendly staff and reasonably clean . No restaurant but the pub next door is brilliant.
Breakfast here was a bit disappointing £5:25 for a breakfast in a box . Cornflakes, a carton of milk . Carton of orange juice, a very small muffin and a plastic spoon . NO SUGAR for the cornflakes.
Would still stay here again 😆

Clean with friendly staff. Just extremely narrow small beds, twin room had only 2ft wide, suitable for children not adults. Double room is much better, very comfortable bed.

The receptionist Cheryl is an absolute star. We found that all the receptionists to be very helpful. The only criticism we had was that the bushes in front of the windows were unkempt and gave out a foul musky odour which prevented the window from being opened on a warm summers day. We were given the option of moving rooms but as our group was occupying two rooms it would mean we would be split.
M. K.
Very clean, staff friendly and helpful. Just had noisy people In and out of their rooms till early hours.. Would recommend and stay again.
V. B.
Rooms a little tired and had oil radiators in 2 rooms that we know of although these kept our room at an decent temperature.Comfy bed and quiet at the back of the hotel.

Last Month I had visited Travelodge Leicester, Hinckley Road, I found it very well managed, nice Rooms, ample parking space is available, and staff is also very well experienced and competitive. I would prefer to visit again if go to that rout.
T. H.
Well located... Goid amenities in the area..
M. R.
A better than your average Travelodge. The reception were happy to talk on arrival and we got a little fact sheet about the area. Nice touch.

Decent night sleep. Comfortable bed. Lady at the desk even lent us an ironing board. For the price you cannot go wrong. Did I mention the parking is free??
D. S.
Clean and efficient. All staff friendly and very polite. Full marks, especially, to the male concierge who went out of his way to assist me when I arrived late afternoon on 26 May 2018.

Travellodge Leicester hinckley road made for a comfortable two nights stay. Location next door to a high end pub called the red boar which served a good selection of hot food and alchol at a fairly reasonable price. Also five minute walk from sainsbury local and a fish and chippy. Rooms well size with either double bed or two single beds. Fresh linen supplied every day and also was supplied with kettle and a selection of hot beverages. Every room has a tv also (freeview) and with thirty minutes of free WiFi. Room and en suite were to an excellent standard of cleanliness. Overall friendly staff and made for a comfort stay
T.
Comfortable and clean. Great value for money. Only problem the terrible mobile data signal in room and only 30 mins free wi fi. But it's a cheap room so never mind.

Best Travelodge really good beds and food and baths
M. D.
If they give you room 17 you will be up all night there is a private room next door could be an office or laundry but it's now 3 in the morning and there's people creeping about on creaky floorboards again! So 2 nights in a row up all night, apart from that it's ok
D. B.
Good location and friendly staff. Anna was behind the desk when i checked out. She was really friendly and professional. She is a real credit to Travelodge.
R. T.
We had to have a new kettle because someone had made coffee in it then the replacement kettle didn't work so we had to have the yet another which finally was okay
Other than that having paid for WiFi we couldn't get it to connect went down to reception again and was told to put my email address in and it should work NO it needed a code so quite a frustrating nights stay! !!!!
C. L.
Clean and tidy upon arrival however two issues with room. One of which was resolved as soon as brought to staff attention the other requires tradesman so temporary measure found.
S. V.
Looks ok outside, very old and dated inside.Internal walls paper thin, you can hear everything next door.Bathrooms have been refurbished recently.
G. F.
Above average Travelodge with a great pub next-door!
