Lovely hotel with very friendly, helpful staff and great breakfast! Room was very comfortable. Great location for the Christmas lights, shopping and west end. Only criticism would be the smokers congregating outside. When the doors open you get hit with a lungful of nicotine and carcinogenics.

Good to place to enjoy, eat and sleep when you are in London. Nearer to train station, bus stops and taxis are 24hours
Morning breakfast and a very accommodate bar. Spacious rooms and hardworking receptionists and managers available to assist your needs
J. S.
Great place for a coffee after shopping in Oxford Street! Friendly staff in coffee shop with sandwiches and comfortable seating areas. Use of toilets also very convenient.

Attended a relationship intensive course hosted by Anna Garcia. Great venue, clean toilets. Did not have the opportunity to stay but def would put it on my list. It seemed quite busy, that's a good sign
M. S.
The reception service was great. They have solved professionally what I request. Also it is located in the middle of London city highlights. Great hotel for tourists.

Amba Hotel , Marble Arch. good location. You can reach by walking distance from Marble Arch tube station as well Oxford Street. You can enjoy your business trip. Very specious room. Supportive staff. Operate by GLH Hotels Management (UK) Limited.

Lovely hotel, great location and Mr Erdal Nebioglu and his team were extremely professional and friendly throughout my stay. Would stay again!

Spacious and comfortable rooms with Arabic channels
close to..
Oxford Street and Arab Street (Agorod) and close to Hyde Park

Staff where lovely, rooms very spacious and spotlessly clean, very comfortable and a delightful stay
A. B.
Great location, friendly staff, rooms are refurbished. Everything is great about the hotel

beds comfortable, plenty of hot water, room clean and lots of storage.

Great location! Everything is near by and super nice breakfast 😍
C. S.
Okay standard place, service is patchy, one time superb, this time appalling but that's London.
J. H.
Very disappointed with breakfast, warm and cheap sausages, other wise clean room and helpful staff
J. M.
Guys at the concierge by the elevators are great and friendly! Specially during the current climate.

Great location, hotel itself was nice

Good service and food, enjoyable stay

It was a great experience. Rooms were comfortable and service was AWESOME! All staff were friendly and made us feel welcome! Breakfast was delicious! Everything felt fresh and good quality. Great location too.. walking distance to many good restaurants, shops and attractions. We walked to Buckingham palace! 10minutes tops...Very happy with my stay. I would recommend 100% base on my experience

LOVE THIS HOTEL! You walk inside and in but a moment you've entered a beautiful oasis...your new home away from home...in one of the world's most extraordinary cities!! The reception desk staff are some of the most gracious and patient people I've had the pleasure to meet and interact with... They set the mood beautifully. I stayed here twice on the same trip - at the start of my tour and at the end of my tour about two weeks later! Both rooms were very nice and beautifully appointed and soooo quiet and most comfortable and impeccably clean. One room, however, was on the small side and the other was much larger and roomy. The bathrooms in both rooms were warm and incredibly inviting...like my own mini spa! The breakfast buffet in the very nice dining room was quite delicious and full of choices that should appeal to even picky eaters. The group dinner at the hotel was also as equally delicious and service was attentive without being intrusive. The staff aim to make everyone happy and I think they succeed beautifully! The neighborhood is quirky and fun to explore and shop in. I highly recommend this well-appointed hotel and the great team of personnel who all make it tick with great ease and excellence! Bravo!!

Excellent Hotel. Espresso machine in the room, Free complimentary drinks and bathrobe. Breakfast was excellent with a chef preparing fresh eggs and omelettes as requested. The only downside is the view and the gym I was only there for the night for work so not a downer for me. We'll worth staying here.

Large well located hotel with good facilities
P. L.
Nice place in a good location. Slightly odd layout and the reception (when you find it at the top of the stairs) is a series of lecterns, like something from the US presidential primary debates. Still it's efficient enough and the staff are pleasant.
Rooms are nice and have everything you need. Can't comment on the food other than the breakfast which was a fairly standard buffet, but good.

Convenient location friendly staff, cleanliness pleases
V. B.
Lovely hotel, staff were brilliant. Complimentary mini bar is a lovely touch. Coffee was fantastic. Had a wonderful meal too. Second time I've stayed. I will be back!
B.
Quite a nice hotel and just round the corner from Marble Arch tube station. Evening meal was lovely although the waitress didn't speak enough English to take our drinks order for something we couldn't point at on the wine list. Breakfast started at six thirty and although I was down at 6:35 the food was dry and overdone so a little uninspiring. The room was lovely and well decorated and the bathroom was clean. Unfortunately, the TV didn't work and someone nearby was smoking and the ventilation was pumping cigarette smoke into my room. I'd stay again but might dodge breakfast and check the TV worked before unpacking.
S. B.
The rating is low purely because of how busy the hotel is which generally isn't a bad thing, unfortunately though it means that the staff are flustered and so the service isn't quite there that you'd expect. Lovely hotel although the street where the door is located is narrow and can be hazardous to navigate down. The breakfast was good but slow due to the amount of people waiting for food and tables were limited.
S. Z. K.
Lovely, affordable hotel right in the heart of London. The exterior looks dull but the interiors are well maintained and we thought the rate charged was surprisingly reasonable for a hotel of that location. They offered us a room that faced right out to Primark on Oxford Street so it was nice to have a room with that view. Good thing is they cater to loads of Middle Eastern tourists hence they have a special Arabic menu which we tried. The food was good and decent for the price paid. Though they missed out on our sauces and we had to wait quite a while for them to bring it from the kitchen.

Staff were very nice and the lunch was lovely plenty of tea coffee cakes biscuits and fruit provided for the breaks. Conference room was a bit small for amount of participants and unfortunately the heating/air conditioning couldn't be regulated. Enjoyable venue for training though
s. k.
I would have loved to give this property 5 stars were it not to be for the poor level of the executive club lounge and the staff in charge Louisa. Otherwise the front office manager Gabor was an excellent person and gave us one of the bets rooms facing Oxford street. The location could not be nay better for anyone who loves to be in the center of the buzz. The breakfast buffet is very good but the restaurant is bursting at it seams. Housekeeping is a hit and miss depending upon your luck and the mood of the staff. The hotel is extremely popular with middles east guest and almost every minute you are likely to bounce into a Kuwait person which is something I truly do not relish.
C. B.
Really nice hotel, can easily miss it though as the entrance is kind of round the back. Nice bar area and lovely staff throughout. The bedroom corridors are a bit of a maze but the bedrooms themselves are really nice and so spacious for a London hotel! I had an upgraded room and the complimentary mini bar was fulfilled with cans of coke, chocolate, crisps and Flapjacks. The breakfast was lovely and lots to choose from!
A. H.
Breakfast was overpriced if you don't eat a lot and load up on food to take back to your room. Be warned when they say breakfast is over at 10:30 they mean it. Taking all the serving utensils away. We got there at 10:00 on our first day and were not aware of the hours, I wish they would have told us they were closing soon, I would have rather gone elsewhere than spend $16 a person.
The sheets and towels had a slight odor. The service to the room was either very good or very lacking.
Noises carry through the walls here and many guests come back late and are not quiet, so take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
It's very close to a tub stop. That made exploring the city very easy.
S. S.
I have stayed in this hotel several times. It is well positioned for central London and for access to the underground. A little expensive, hard to get to by car, and I think breakfast was over priced and you had to queue. Great for conferences and large meetings.
V. “. L.
Lounge and breakfast was good but some customers are taking advantage especially those coming from Middle Eastern countries. Some take croissants in doggy bags and food in executive lounge is exhausted the moment the staff puts food - leaving nothing behind for others. Some of them leave food on plates uneaten.. Really poor etiquette by these people (yet they wear plenty of luxury goods, very unclassy of them)
Complimentary mini bar is a great system but housekeeping leaves the rooms haphazardly "cleaned". Sometimes doesn't fill up the mini bar and no toilet paper! Definitely weird..
But if these things are alright with you it's an OK hotel. The location is not that great and not a lot of places to eat around the area so you have to walk far.
T. F.
Great location. Nice sized rooms. Mini bar is included with a few snacks, a couple beers, wine, and a couple sodas. They kept it full everyday. Breakfast was good, plenty of selection. We walked to all the major tourist destinations from this location plus the tube was just around the corner. Would definitely stay again.
W. S.
Great quality rooms in a good location. The nesspresso machine and complimentary mini bar are a nice touch. Rooms also include bath robes, ironing boards and hair dryers. Beds are comfy and the rooms quiet. The entrance to the hotel is on one of the side roads and isn't immediately obvious.
H. M.
We had a very enjoyable stay. The room was very comfortable, exactly what you need after a very busy day sightseeing and shopping. The staff were amazing. The extra cost of the executive suite with access to the Amba Lounge was well worth it. I’m already plotting an excuse to come and stay here again.
G. L.
Very nice hotel. The location, the food, the staff all was very good. Our London trip was excellent and the hotel was very comfortable. Room are nice and cozy and of course no doubt an excellent place to stay for a tourist. I was very happy with my family in London stay. Thank you Everyone for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
S. B.
Nice hotel. It's located at a prime, busy area of London, so expect it to be a little crowded. I have only had English breakfast there, which was good, so I can't comment on the general restaurant situation. They have friendly staff who are willing to help you with whatever you may need. Unfortunately the reception used to take really long to pick up our calls from the room!
c. s.
Attended Anna Garcia event here. Venue space beautiful. Ambience amazing. Facilities clean and modern. This hotel is class. Cannot speak on the rooms but the service and decor of the meeting spaces and communal areas was top class. Maybe next time I might stay the night.
E. K.
Good location, rooms are fine however could be cleaner. Room service should be improved though, the complimentary minibar was not refilled daily (or refilled only partially), left out coffee was cleaned only the second day, the cleaning cloths were left dump on the desk - would not expect such poor service in a 4-star hotel.
D. B.
The hotel has been great so far. They let us check in early and store our bags all day. We got two adjacent, connected rooms for the family. The breakfast was wonderful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.
L. P.
Stayed here for two nights whilst attending a conference just around the corner. The reception area seemed very disorganised with customers not knowing if they were in a queue or not. Also not enough receptionists working for the amount of people checking in at 5pm! The accomodation itself was fairly decent but not worthy of the price per night in my opinion. I've stayed in Mercure hotels in London that displayed better quality to be honest. The food from the room service and the restaurant tasted pretty good and I would recommend eating in the hotel if you need to (though there are plenty really good restaurants on your doorstep).
L. H.
We had a meal at the restaurant. We were a group of 7 people. The waiter was attentive taking our orders and ensuring we had all our drinks. The menu was very good and the haddock fish cakes for the starter was excellent. The lamb steak was good but rather too rare for me although I had asked for medium.. The salad the other guests had were enormous and were taken home in doggy bags. There was a slight confusion.over the ordering of the meal and it was sorted quickly. We had to ask for a dessert menu as it was not offered. My full.glass of wine was nearly cleared away by an over efficient waiter. It was a pleasant place to go but not sure whether I would visit there again.
S. D.
Went there for afternoon tea. The dining area was beautiful, serene and had a wonderful view. The staff were very nice and professional. There was so a grand assortment of things to choose from and it was all just delicious. Wonder ambiance and it really sophisticated. Good place for a girls' day out or a romantic date.
B. C.
I am staying here for four nights.. first night when I checked in my room it was smelly, like it has a stinky kind of smell. Luckily the manger changed me to another room. However, the shower has some problem and it didn’t have cold water at all! So we barely took a shower on first day... make a note to the hotel but it takes forever for the management to come take a look.
Location wise the hotel is good, very convenient and closed to shopping district, have good buffet breakfast also. But overall, I don’t feel like it’s a four star hotel, it’s a merely 3.5 star hotel as is.
A. A.
Good hospitality, friendly people. Cleaned toilet which is my most concern at any hotel and place, cleaned rooms. I prefer to stay at this hotel every time I visit London.
I advise my friends and family to stay in this hotel.
L. L.
Arrived after a long flight, got upgraded at no cost and the room is great! Newly renovated, spacious, windows all have views onto the main streets. Breakfast was good. Definitively a cut above the average business hotel I've stayed in.
C. G.
Stayed at this hotel for my partners works do, lovely hotel just a shame the lack of communication between staff about checking in times and we had to wait around for 2 hours. The room was nice but does need abit of TLC as there was filled in patches of the skirting boards. Staff are helpful and pleasant, I would recommend staying at this hotel.
T. M.
We found the staff friendly, helpful and welcoming. The size for the room was just fine. Room has all the amenities you could want. The location of the hotel is excellent. I had a good rest there as the surroundings were very peaceful. Breakfast buffet very limited in choice.
D. B.
Good hotel, very central, modern interior and design. Staff couldn't be more helpful, and go out of their way to ensure you are taken care of. Rooms OK for a central hotel. Good selection of food offers within the hotel. Coffee bar and restaurant both reasonable
L. C.
Very friendly staff. Excellent location
T. W.
Stayed over bank holiday weekend. Great touches with the gift of mini eggs on arrival and made to feel very welcome. Very spacious room, complimentary mini bar a good touch and English Beer is always a plus! Grill was excellent and a good range of options across the family from a Spanish tasting platter to omelette and chips. Staff were excellent.
M. M. R.
The hotel location is excellent as it's very near to Underground station (Train station, Hyde Park, Oxford Street), moreover it's between the great shopping hub where you could get everything including nice food restaurants (halal and vegetarian), moreover the grocery stores are just behind this hotel. And Plus point is the coffee shop COSTA is inside of this hotel. Taxis are also available easily outside of this hotel.
S. C.
My airline put me up at this hotel when my flight was cancelled due to snow. Very nice and helpful employees. Room was clean and stocked. The buffet was delicious. When I get back to London, I would like to stay again.
T. M.
The room was very nice indeed. The blackout curtains are very effective. The bathroom was modern and to a very high standard. The beds were large enough to sleep comfortably. The bed was excellent. Very good value for money. The staff at the hotel are all very friendly and attentive.
J. Y.
In the area, for the cost. It doesn't get much better. Staff are always happy to see you. Food in the restaurant is of a high quality. Rooms are ample with a free mini bar full of snacks. Shower is excellent and really don't have a bad word to say

I lived in london for two years, and traveled in and out every few years and believe me when i tell you this Hotel is the best choice I ever made during all these years! This visit was part meetings in Paddington yet my spouse was looking for the shopping experience. The Amba hotel location was perfect to meet both our needs and the bus stop and metro is 2-4 mins away and taxi’s are always parked outside. Two additional tips about the location, Selfridges is 5 mins away and there is lots of restaurants and coffee shops around the area. The staff helped in a fast check in and luggage service which was impressively quick. I booked the king deluxe room and as soon as I entered i noticed one thing! it was spacious! very spacious unlike Europian hotels. the toilet was with standing showers yet shower pressure was perfect for long showers! closet space and cabients was perfect although i wish there were more hangers. Lots of outlet and usb plugs beside the bed and on desk. The room view is oxford street yet once you close the window you cant hear a thing outside. Finally the best part of the room is the bed! Very very comfortable i must give them the best rating on that! The hotel assure comfort and customer satisfaction is very noticeable way, from welcoming you outside, checking, to emailing you during your stay asking if everything meeting your standard, till checking out. I will definitely recommend this to everyone close to me and come consider it on my coming visits. Thank you amazing staff and management I believe this hotel wouldn’t be this great without you! You truly make a difference in our lives. and special thanks to Sarah who was a great help during our stay and reminded to write my thoughts about the hotel.
L. W.
Went for a conference. Facilities were good although the que for the ladies didn't look fun. Lunch was excellent but we had 300 delegates and nowhere to seat everyone which resulted in many people sitting on the floor like a scene from an aid centre although admittedly one with good food!
D. P.
Beautiful and very clean. Staff was excellent and friendly. The bed was too comfortable. I didn't want to get up. The breakfast buffet was yummy and had something for everyone. Free daily in-room snacks (snack bar).
F. I.
I loved the hotel. Very well located and very clean and updated rooms. The breakfast was great and has a significant variety with quality products. The check in was very quick and so was the checkout. The bed was incredibility comfortable and the room has a lot of amenities including a Nespresso. The only downside to my taste is the elevators. Given the size of the hotel and the number of rooms and how busy it gets, I think there is a need for some more elevators. However, this hotel is definitely recomended!!!
J. C. M.
Our first visit on this particular hotel and it didn't disappointed me. The hotel reception was very spacious and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely come back and stay at this Amba Hotel and compare the experience we had at their branch in Charing Cross
J. L.
I really enjoyed staying here though it was working at the front desk could be a bit nicer. They offer a lot at their breakfast buffet and it was a nice variety for a few mornings. The beds are super comfy and very warm, they had a complementary minibar in the room which was nice. They offered an iPad for use in every room though I had no use for it.
A. B.
Good hotel in London center. Renovated.
Rich breakfast. We had deluxe modern room, spacious 23m2, but the bathroom is very small.
Concierge service was very poor. No luggage service to the room and no service out of the room!
Room service poor.
Elevators, long wait. Two of 4 were out of order on our week stay.
Lightning in room is too modern, all shut, all on, with no personal spot light at bedside.
Friendly staff.
All together: AMBA should improve.
M. Z.
I stayed in this hotel for 7 nights for a business trip. The hotel has more than 500 rooms and is located on Oxford street very close to marble Arch underground (4 mins). The reception is located on the first floor. The reception is spaciously nice where there are different restaurants / cafe spread across including the hotel lobby. You will be welcomed by nice people at the reception that are willing to help.
I have booked a deluxe room which is comparatively spacious for hotels in London.
Positives
Spacious rooms
New and clean rooms
Friendly staff
Great Location
Negatives
Gym is extremely small
Long corridors (avoid rooms very far from lifts)
J. L.
Lovely hotel, great room- go for the executive room as you get breakfast and access to the lounge with complimentary drinks an nibbles. Great choice of hot and cold items at breakfast. Can't wait to go back. Keep up the excellent work. AMBA
D. F.
I was changing my evaluation between 2 and 3 stars: I had a roomy suite, bed was good, bat was quite good and clean.
But cleaning the carpeting is not the favourite part of peoples cleaning routines. I need to do my back exercises and I had to convince my self to lay on that floor. Yes, I could have said something. But that's not the point. Vacuuming the floor and cleaning stains out of the carpet should simply be tanken of. And here it is not the case.
S.
Good hotel in heart of London.
T. M.
We could not have been happier with the experience. People can easily go up lift to room although they don't stay there. Location was excellent, the main shopping area was in the walking distance. The hotel is child-friendly, close to metro station and situated in a well-supplied neighbourhood.
S. R.
It's hard for me to review this place. This hotel was recommended by family friends. If you look on the website it talks about a complimentary mini bar and looks like there should be alcoholic drinks included. Instead it's a flapjack/granola bar, bar of chocolate, chips, diet coke, regular coke, and 2 bottles of water. It was a nice treat, just different from what we expected.
We also enjoyed the teas and hot chocolates. The Nespresso machines aren't really "coffee machines." It's more an espresso machine than a coffee machine. The rooms were also spacious.
The robes were nice and the bed was comfortable. There were many USB ports which were nice for charging. There was also an American outlet which was nice. The blackout curtains worked and were necessary for the side of the hotel we were on. The shower was also very nice. They also had cute decorations in the lobby!
The hotel is also closely located to shopping, buses, and underground stops.
Points off for me included: the "shaver" plate came off in the bathroom the first night we were there. It wasn't a big deal, just a surprise. I also didn't appreciate walking out of the hotel and people contstantly smoking right outside the door. We also found some hair in the drain when we were trying to figure out how the shower worked.
Biggest issue was when the fire alarm went off while we were staying there. There weren't many directions. We couldn't tell if the alarm was just going off in our room or everywhere. Someone said the staircase they tried going down had a locked gate. When we got outside a staff member told us to go to Cumberland and pointed. We had no clue if that was a street or how far away it was so we followed the masses. Eventually, we ended up in another hotel. It was nice, but we wish there would have been more direction and less confusion.
P. B.
For London this is good value hotel. Good location free soft drinks mini bar and snacks and nice breakfast. Rooms are a good size with comfy beds and ac. Modern toilets though would say some of the decor and fittings a bit jaded.
N.
Short walk from Marble Arch tube and bus routes. Concierge service. Have not stayed overnight so unable to comment on accommodation, however conference room facilities are very good as is the catering which is served in a spacious restaurant with comfortable seating. Nicely decorated and presented. Very friendly and helpful staff.
J. L.
Had a private lunch for 30 here. Fantastic, calm, professional and helpful staff. Nothing too much trouble. Function food is usually dull, this was very tasty. Very reasonable price, better than I could find elsewhere in central London.6th time I've booked there.
D. R. (.
Wonderful location, close to shopping areas, relaxing bed fittings, but poor housekeeping. Takes long time to clean up your room. Need more staff probably. Always make sure you book the large rooms.
S. T.
Great location. Reasonable price. Breakfast solid. Amenities poor. Gym way too small. Executive lounge is often over run with children. It is more like a pre-school than a business lounge (regardless of their posted rules) Business services are weak. Room a maintained and clean. Walk to anywhere in Mayfair.
M. C.
Excellent Hotel. Espresso machine in the room, Free complimentary drinks and bathrobe. Breakfast was excellent with a chef preparing fresh eggs and omelettes as requested.

The location of this hotel is superb, just round the corner from Marble Arch Tube station and Oxford St of course. You can get pretty good deals on their website and usually an additional 10% off if you join as a member. The hotel's public areas are pretty decent but refurbished rooms are to me comparable to many 5 star hotels; plus they provide free of charge snacks and soft drinks in they minibars which are stocked up daily. It is a pretty 'long' hotel, so a bit of walking along its corridors but nothing to complain off for the package you are gettimg if you book a bit in advance. Nice and friendly staff. Only thing which needs improvement is their fitness room. It is small and really needs upgrading. But if you need a run on the treadmill or cross traindr or rower they have one of each.
T. W.
Very nice and comfortable hotel to stay in with good amenities and location. Marble Arch has just so much to do and the tube station is just around the corner for easy and convienient travel to other parts of London. There is also a car rental place around the front of the hotel entrance. Staff were friendly and helpful as well as room clean and modern and comfy.
n. k.
Friendly reception. Room and bathroom cleanliness really need to be addressed. Housekeeping did a great daily job but the rooms are in need of a deep (seasonal) cleaning and scrubbing. Everything in minibar was free!
M. M.
Stayed last Friday night with my sister and cousin. Lovely clean and comfortable rooms. Used the Executive Lounge which was a real treat as was celebrating my sister's Birthday. Breakfast Saturday morning was really great.
S. J.
This is not a review for the hotel. But for their grill. This is one of my favourite steak places in London and amongst the very few that I would order a blue steak. The chefs know their temperatures. The wait staff and other staff are also extemly good making sure you will enjoy your evening. Hopefully you will go when Ausra is working although the staff won't let you down.
L. G.
I visited here with my friend and we spend great time. Great location. Everything was perfect. Services was great. Staff were professional. Room was well maintained.
M. C.
A bustling tourist based hotel. Service is courteous but slow. Hotel now feels like oriented to UK residents staying than visiting overseas tourists. That is of course totally fine and a good UK business, but it isn't the relaxing, slightly quaint place it was. It is also fairly expensive for small rooms. With this hotel location is everything as it is close to Harrods and Selfridge's. There's nothing actually wrong with it but with so many hotels to choose from, for the monkey I can choose differently next time.
A. G.
Attended for a work related conference. The hotel was easy to find and the staff were helpful. I got the tube to Bond Street and it was a quick walk down Oxford Street (about 5 to 10 minutes) to find the hotel. The conference facilities were comfortable and well organised, with generally decent catering, though some of the lunch was a little odd!
S. M.
Phenomenal location. Great people working there. Very friendly and always smiling. Very popular with tourists. The breakfast buffet is very good.... Busy but very good.
Everyone from the doorman to the reception to the belldesk to the housekeeping to the staff at the restaurant is very happy to help.
S. B.
I didn't much like being challenged as I walked in, but most of the staff were friendly enough. Reception looks very clinical and offputting. Good food in the restaurant. Meeting room didn't have charging points on the tables for phones, laptops etc, which seemed a glaring oversight.
J. S.
Food was excellent here and the staff were great
N. R.
For anyone that's coming to London and wants a central hotel near Oxford Street, close to all the main shops, like Selfridges, John Lewis, House of Fraser etc then this is the hotel to stay at. The rooms are a very generous size, not too small like a lot of rooms in London, they have a great relaxed bar, and superb restaurant, serving full English breakfast, lunches and great British dinners. The staff are so friendly, we've been staying at the hotel for ten years and we can't fault anything the bedding and furnishings and bathroom etc are just perfect, they've just had a refurbishment and the hotel has been decorated to the highest standard.
T. F.
The hotel is well located at the end of Oxford Street and marble arch/ Hyde Park. The breakfast is good but there is always a waiting line to get a seat which could be avoided by increasing the space. Rooms are fine but nothing brilliant and not that private
L. D.
Very happy with my stay at this lovely hotel. Very friendly staff, clean and lovely room. We'll be visiting again. 5 out of 5 stars
A. T.
Good staff but the hotel felt dated. Unable to fully close the curtains in the room and we were bothered by housekeeping despite clearly having the do not disturb sign on
S. A. S. R.
Spent great time. Was clean and tidy.. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was pretty spacious.. within 3 min walking distance to the main shopping street. They have costa coffee in the lobby which stays until late night.Over all a great experience.. Highly recommended!
S. G.
Our stay here was great, 🇬🇧starting from location, good shopping area, quaint pubs and restaurants, walking distance to some sightseeing and the double decker bus/ the underground is within steps. Felt safe in area. Most importantly Mark 👋🏽at the concierge desk is one of your Hotels BEST Assets !!! He not only knows everything but he works on intuition, you don’t have to ask him to do something he has thought of it in advance. I can go on and on about how thoughtful-honest-pleasant-friendly he is!! Give that man a promotion and a raise💰💰💰. Room was clean, spacious, friendly house keeping/ room-service. We had lunch at the grill, food was ok, it was cooked to order (burgers),staff was friendly but service ok, temp in restaurant was freezing 🥶 cold did have some one working on that, we didn’t stick around 🥶. I would definitely recommend this 🏨 See ya soon🌎
P. J.
I loved this place. I am so glad I picked this hotel over others I was looking at. Complimentary mini bar, executive lounge, good breakfast, clean rooms.
W. B.
Whenever I stay in London, I stay here. The rooms are clean, quite and comfortable. There are complimentary mini bars. Tea and coffee making facilities are availabe. The restaurant is excelent as is the bar. There is the Deli. You can order food and drinks. All venues boast good service and friendly staff. I have no hesitation in recomending this hotel to all.
I. B.
I had great time .
The location of the hotel is perfect for me.
Tow minutes from Oxford Street and all shopping
We could walk all over streets and when we were tired we came back quickly.
Breakfast is very good and rich.
(For my opinion soft cheese were missing )
I recommend for this hotel for anyone who get to london
R. C.
My first night was good until I went to bed. There are no bed sheets, just a plush comforter. I ended up sweating even with the room heat down and then off. I had to ask for sheets the next morning. Room is well eguiped with outlets all over the walls. It even has one US plug in. I'm unsure how old the build g is, but I was told it houses 700 rooms, and it seems to take up the length of a city block. There is a restaurant, a bar, a snack facility, and a gift shop. I am unaware of any parking garages near by. Hyde Park is within walking distance. Shopping and the like, is not at a premium here, but there are some eating places nearby.

What an amazing hotel with luxury and wonderful staff. I have used this hotel for years and I keep coming back because of the people that work here. They are welcoming and pleasant and try their hardest to make sure you have a memorable stay
B. C.
Well I haven't stayed in one of their hotels as of yet, but after I recieved exceptional service on Saturday night, I will make sure to book with them when possible.
Double Tree Hilton next door refused for my wife to use their toilet as we are not their guest (my wife is pregnant), so we come into Amba and asked, the staff at the front door was so friendly and welcome and shown her the way to the loo.
You have just won your company a new happy customer over from Hilton!
R. T.
Efficient reception. Sendeq Araya was super efficient, helpful and friendly at reception and in fact throughout our stay at the hotel.
Room was great in all respects.
Restaurants were good.
Great location, close to public transport and tube. Great for shopping.

had a conference there, building looks quite old fashioned and dirty outside. you can see why: it seats in one of the busiest areas in London. However, inside is beautiful and staff are very polite and helpful. Food was good and they have got lots of conference rooms. The one I was in was called Shire and was magnificent. However, I wasn't particulalrly impressed with the toilets and the corridor smelt of food but in an unpleasant way in some parts. Otherwise, I wouldn't mind to go back for another conference
R. R. Z.
First one little thing: on 3q10 I ordered G&T at the Bar/ It was served at a ball glass more suitable for fruit salad. G&T is serve as along dring/ Also we did not receved any cutlery with the food we ordered/ Take the bar attended to a refresher course
Normaky when I make my reservation a least 2 months in advance I put some requests such as: near the elvator due to my wife disability' a shower and not a bath and twin beds. Upon Check in we received by a guy who gave us room 386 whuch is a "mile away" from the lift, a bath in the room a double bed. Very furstrated I went down to talk to the guy who did the check in and he was away/ Claudia who saw me very not happy make all the search for a room my likely and found me room 872 which was exactly what we need. I think that personnel like Claudia should be an examle to the other staff and she should train them to like her. For us Ckaudia was the real star of our stay. By the way we are coming to your hotel for the last 7 years and never befor we were so disappinted for the check in.
Varda and Rami Remez stayed in the hotel 3-10 October 2019
E. I.
Can you fix the tv at the bar please
M. F.
We have nothing bad to say about this hotel, we stayed here eight days. Welcoming staff, perfect location for our point of view. We always book our hotel close to the Hyde Park and tube station. We will come here again.
I. M.
Was staying here while at a conference, great location, good breakfast though it can be quite crowded at times. Room was great, good size for a city centre hotel and had good amenities as well.
J.
I attended a conference and found the hotel very convenient . The staff reception was nice and friendly in helping me to find a bin ! Also the hotel is perfectly located just minutes from Marble Arch station which makes a perfect place for those on shopping mision! Lovely little souvenir shop near the lobby
J. J.
Went to use the conference rooms for a business meeting. Facilities are pretty good although they should provide more options for connecting to the projector (they charged extra for the loan of a cable). Service was friendly. Food was too heavily biased toward sweet snacks.
J. D.
Great location, friendly, generous*, well-appointed rooms, good beds, coffees & teas,, etc. Special mention: Aida in Housekeeping. Drawback: It's large, so there are many rooms, long corridors.
*(How many hotels offer a free daily minibar with soft drinks and snacks?)
T. W.
Lovely hotel very well situated in London. It was our first trip so was really impressed. Very clean room and great facilities. Breakfast was very nice too
R. G.
Location is fantastic as it's only 2 min walk to Oxford Street, rooms and bathrooms are well equipped , complementary teas, great coffee machines and fridge with crisps & cake is a very nice touch. The breakfast was very tasty with a great selection of food.
M. H.
All of the staff truly work as a team! Room was clean and lovely, food was great, and the concierge was extremely helpful. Small but complete gym. Complimentary breakfast was excellent.
J. R.
We got a really good meal deal through Travelzoo. The food and wine were great. It wasn't busy so we could choose where to sit and we were not hurried by staff. The place (including toilets) was very clean too.
A. S.
Huge hotel in the best location right off from Oxford street. The breakfast is really good for British standards. Take the escalator to the lobby on the first floor. Not the best hotel for the meeting rooms as they are a maze to find.
I. P.
Love this hotel. The rooms are well sized, equipped and quiet. The staff are all amazing and out to please. Breakfast and bar meals also good quality and tasty
B. Z.
The hotel has the best location in London,I stayed there for 5 nights it was very nice and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in Marble Arch were you can enjoy shopping and so much to do. The tube station is just around the corner.
C. M.
Big hotel with Ideal location for the West End. Can be a little noisy, but it is central London. Take ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Nice breakfast with a lot of choice. Room very nice.
L. C.
Stayed here a few times with work. Great location. Clean and tidy rooms and a half decent restaurant. Very good value for central London. Staff polite and helpful and often willing to give a cheeky upgrade.
D. S.
Great hotel! Very clean room. The only problem was it was advertised as "King sized bed" but it was 2 double beds pushed together and the mattresses were slightly different heights. Other than that, it was perfect.
K. F.
Rooms nice, good location, hotel seemed very quiet but were give a room right at the back overlooking a court yard
s. e.
Nice hotel, went for roadshow being held there. Only problem was heating, conference room was cold and some delegates had to put scarf and coats on. Other than that a nice hotel.
S. L.
Great conference facilities. There is a good range of room options with all required facilities and the food was pretty good to. Conveniently located very close to Marble arch station. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.
S. P.
We had afternoon tea here and it was a nice experience with a good selection of teas and generous portions of good sandwiches, scones and cakes.
A pleasant, modern setting. Be aware the entrance is right around the back, not on Bond Street.
P. G.
This hotel does many little things just right. Our standard double bed room was VERY tidy and quiet, featured quite a big smart tv and also a very clean bathroom. Now on to the little things - right next to the bed you may find usb ports for charging your phone, veery nifty if you don't have a UK power adapter. The room also came with its own iPad, sporting an app which lists the many features of the hotel and is also helpful if you're a tourist and would like to get a bit more acquainted with the sights/attractions of London before heading out. The hotel has a pretty fast and reliable WiFi network (throughout the hotel), as well as a storage room in which you can leave your luggage if you want to look around town after checking out. The hotel is right next to Oxford street, so you're in the shopping area as soon as you walk out. Hotel's breakfast service is quite expensive (12 £ per person), but considering its location, you have many other options (I'm partial to the several Pret a mangers in surrounding area :)). Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.
C. K.
Amazing hotel with the best service you could wish for. Rooms and f&b are oustanding! Staff was fantastic! Thank you guys so much for making my stay unforgettable!
R. T.
One of the best hotels I have stayed at. If you have access to the executive lounge you would love it all the more. Besides, Primark is right across the street.
j. w.
A gorgeous Hotel. Long, lonely corridors but you know you aren't very far away from the extremely friendly staff, who are always at your beck and call! The people are so very friendly here in London. The Bar and Restaurants are superb. The service is excellent. I exited the elevator every mornibng to see a beautiful Hotel Rep, wishing me "Good Morning." VIP service on the 2nd floor private B-Fast Room. Eggs, Bangers, mushrooms, coffee, plenty of juice and table service provided by a lovely receptionist. I cannot rate this Hotel over 5 stars! I loved my stay here!
H. E.
It is a really nice hotel. The service is fine too. It is a bit loud outside but that's Okey. So all in all it is nice there
M. C. G.
I've stayed in this hotel three times, when it was still Thistle Marble Arch. Great hotel, friendly staff and fantastic location. I see now it's called Amba and I think the rooms have been completely renovated. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to the city.
N. B.
Went here only for a conference, not for the hotel. But it was well organised, very well catered and great facilities. A cloak room, very strong coffee!
R. F.
Attended a conference there, the hotel looked fine. Entrance was clean, staff were helpful and friendly, and the conference room we were in was not bad.
Location was convenient, right next to Hyde Park tube station
K.
This is the best Hotel I have ever stayed in! The Nespresso maschine in our Twin Bed room is amazing, minibar included (coffe capsules, fresh milk, 2x coke, 2x water, chocolate bar, fruitbar- everything for free everyday) this is heaven and very good for our budget. The staff is so nice and kind, I told them that we are celenrating a birthday in advance and the created a wonderful and amzibgly beautiful surprise - thanks so mich
G. F.
Great hotel, great location, very friendly staff and large breakfast buffet...would definitely stay here again...helpful hint: if you are looking for a taxi and it's super busy I recommend going to the corner to hail one and not waiting in front of the hotel
G. L.
This hotel does not look like much from outside but very nice rooms, cafe, wonderful buffet breakfast, friendly staff and convenient to lots of sightseeing..I would stay again if in London!
D. W.
After a long long flight across the pond, I was greeted with delight and the good folks at the Thistle Marble assured me of a jolly good time. They were correct. The food was above excellent. When I asked for Gluten free food they tripped over each other trying to help me.
F. A.
The rooms are perfect and the location is amazing. The staff at the reception are very road and require very good training on how to deal with people. The good experiences was distributed by the way the staff are treating people especially the front disck
F. A.
Me & my husband booked a 6 nights at the Amba hotel
The room was perfect sized bathroom clean
The location was perfect 😻👌🏼 4 mins walk to Hyde park, 1 min walk to Oxford street
The underground train station is so close 5 mins walk “bond underground “
One flaw was: the service one hour I swear I hour Porter arrives , one hour to bring towels to the room...!!! So when you need anything order it 2 hours earlier !😂
We really enjoyed our stay but the service was horrible!
K. K.
We are local business owners and recently visited this hotel for a bite to eat. Renata at the deli was so welcoming and friendly! Will definitely be returning here on a regular basis!
J. M.
I was treated to an evening birthday dinner at this hotel. Absolutely brilliant. The hosting was first class. Attentive and jovial. I would definitely recommend.
B. B.
Well positioned hotel. A walk away from everywhere you wanna be. Hotel has nice vibe. My room was spacious. Breakfast a good spread.
A. B.
Was welcomed and given our room key was surprised at the room very comfortable. We went to the bar downstairs for a drink and bit to eat. Club sandwich was to die for lovey barman
T. M.
We arrived earlier that planed, so we expected to have to wait around in the reception area until our check in time of 12pm. Front desk was not properly trained. Staffs' attitude need to be improved. We couldn't wait to go home as we were uncomfortable all weekend sleeping here.
J. M.
Lovely hotel, great location, very helpful staff. All in all a great city centre hotel. Would definitely consider staying again.
K. A. F.
The hotel place is incredible, Directly on Oxford street for those who like shopping and very near to Marble arch. besides to the wide variety of restaurants.
In addition the stuff is amazing and very friendly.
I loved my stay there very much
r. d.
Nice hotel
Staff helpful
T. M. M.
I have had an issue at check out and the front desk lady Mihaela was rude and unhelpful. Then another member of staff Senna and the manager Robert came and solved the issue very nicely. Thanks Senna and Robert. Mihaela was an unfortuante addition to the staff. All in all nice hotel and clean.
C. M.
Comfortable hotel near Hyde park and Oxford Street. Moderately spacious rooms with small bathrooms - no bath. iPad and large TV plus Nespresso type machine and complimentary mini bar. Breakfasts can be busy.
R.
The best thing about the Hotel is the situation, you are a step away from Oxford Street but with entrance in a quiet street. It seems to me excessively expensive, considering the views of the room, to a wall of an interior courtyard. As for cleaning, there was a cockroach in the bathroom. I think that a Hotel of these characteristics should take more care of the hygiene and the general care of the furniture.
R. W.
Enjoyed a very nice afternoon tea at the Amba hotel Marble Arch, a friend organised a groupon voucher for two afternoon teas. More than enough sandwich's, cake, warm scones and desserts. The staff were kind enough to wrap the left offers for us to take away. Full price would have been nearly £70 but the Groupon voucher was half that, so at that price it was good value.
S. S.
Go to Amba Hotel Marble Arch quiet regularly for drinks in the bar when wife goes shopping. Excellent and friendly service, great ambience, reasonably priced drinks. The best bar staff is Iurie, very nice guy.
A. A.
Excelent hotel in the perfect location.
Walking distance to Marble Arch station and with a great breakfast option. The staff is really kind and friendly and the rooms are really confy and homy.
Will be staying again for sure on my next visit to London.
a. t.
We have stay in amba hotel for 5 nights, the rooms was clean and the room service is great, we like the the free coffe and water offered in the rooms. Definitly we will choose Amba again in our next visit to london
O. K.
Centrally located less than 5 minutes walk from Marble Arch tube station, this hotel off Oxford street is very central and reasonably prices.
Extremely comfortable beds, large rooms and a complimentary mini bar (no alcohol) make this a good value gor money. Breakfast is quite varied and should cover everyone's requirements in an environment that is not too loud.
C. T.
Cosy place at the bar next to reception.
N. P.
Brilliant , the staff are brilliantly presented as soon as you walk in , and greated very openly to the brilliant reception , everything was quick and easy to complete so that we could get to our room. We then entered into a very clean lift up and into a room which was perfect , everything is perefect 10/10 defonatly one to recomend
W. C.
Attended for a charity function. Staff were pleasant but service levels lacked. Main courses had a gap of ten minutes between being presented to the table meaning some were cold by the time all plates were out.
H. N.
Modern, confortable, quiet, well located and great breakfast. The hotel was great for a business trip, at a decent price the hotel superceded the external building appearance, proving to be a really nice place. Would definitely come back here
O. a.
Location of the hotel is excellent, right behind oxford street and next to the hydepark.
Rooms are clean and good service.
J. L.
The hotel is very comfortable , well placed for shops , parks , buses past by it and near the underground for trains and very thing is easy to use with the oyster card in hand to go anywhere .
j. n.
Great food and hotel
Y. C.
Super big room !!!
Cons: the wall seems too thin to stop all sorts noise. (Especially for those room located near the lifts )
Breakfast: average
B. C.
Attended a business meeting here. Room was large, plenty of concierge staff around at all times. Plent of seats and space in coffee areas. The bits I saw were good.
R. A.
Great food, comfortable rooms, well equipped. The breakfast concierge was a little disorganised organised but as an experience it was great.comfortable, well priced, the staff are very acomodating.I will use this hotel again (over the hilton near by)
A. Y.
Free minibar with sodas, chips, milk, water and more. Free additional refills, refills every day. The housekeeping services aren't very good, but overall very nice hotel.
L. L.
I went to the restaurant for an evening meal and it was lovely. The service was great and the waitress attended to our needs when required. I had the steak which was delicious and I'll very likely return. I would recommend the restaurant as a very good place to eat.
A. R.
Very large, grand hotel in a prime London location. I attended a conference here and found all facilities clean and comfortable. Great place to hold a conference.
G. S.
Great Hotel Services and location, I have been again visited the hotel this year 2020 and the hotel remains quiet good in term of services, facilities and of course location is great as you are close to the best shopping area in london Oxford street
N. K.
Great food, all delicious. Been there with friend for dinner, staff very professional, asking many times if all alright😆 Very quiet and clean place, comfortable and amazing place to spend time in! Thank you Renata and Mattchew (apologies if name is incorrect, British/Fin man)!
P. S.
Fantastic location. . Not 5 star but very good just the same. Have stayed in a few places in London, the Thistle is as good as any without a huge price tag. My prefered home away from home in London.
Z. B.
Modern stylish Hotel next to Marble Arch and Oxford street, perfect location for tourists who would love to see the city and great location for corporate travellers as well with plenty of meeting rooms, also there is a separate chargeable car park next door if needed.
C. B.
I had a very brief but enjoyable stay at the Amba hotel. The hotel is is a good location and the rooms are large and comfortable. Check in and out were smooth and all the staff were helpful and friendly.
M. O.
Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights.
Room was a little small, otherwise clean and good.
Location is excellent if you love shopping!
M. M.
Fancy hotel in archway, we went there for an amazing business presentation in which we learn how to save money in our regular shopping in London! Very nice meeting and nice room.
C. S.
Came to the Amba for a conference, and the facilities were very good. Hotel was clean, and staff very helpful. Had a very nice lunch in the hotel restaurant.
C. S.
Great location on the iconic Oxford Street. Fresh renovated rooms, inc. complimentary mimibar , coffee tea facilities included too. Very clean and convenient
N. B.
The event was well organised and the hotel was well presented. Staff was nice and smiley. The only downside is the price of any food and drinks, way overpriced.
J. H.
Nice enough hotel, it’s affordable and the location is great. Staff seemed nice and the room I had was very clean and tidy
C. P.
Well, if ymthe waiter spills sambuca on a lady's shirt and on another customer's clothes you really should think of taking an item off the bill to make up for the mistake and damage done to your customers. But thanks for serving until late...
果.
I stayed at The Amba Marble Arch for the weekend with a group of girl friends to see Take That in Hyde Park. The location was perfect, a 5 minute walk from the park. It is opposite Primark on Oxford Street. I had booked executive twin rooms, with two single beds and a sofa bed to accommodate 3 people. I...
M. D. H.
Went at the hotel for a work event so didn't really experience much but the place had a nice atmosphere. The concierge area felt well laid out and spacious
A. C.
I loved the location as it was close to the tube or bus and is a walkable distance from Harrods. Breakfast was delicious as well as was the fish and chips for dinner.
m. v.
Lovely place amazing staff and absolutely scrumptious food. Visited for 3-4 conferences never stayed over but the attention to detail the staff display over everything is second to none
L. H.
Accessible to transport, walking distance to Oxford street, Hyde park. It's reasonably priced. I like the old feel of the building. It's in a safe part of London.
M. B. (.
Went for a training course. Staff seemed very friendly. Very courteous whilst having lunch and very informative when asking for directions etc. Facilities were very clean and the conference suites were very accommodating.
D. W.
Nice hotel. Quite big but the rooms were great. Nice touches with the Nespresso machine and complimentary snacks in the fridge.
B. A.
Its the best hotel location in London , you don't have to take a taxi or bus , 10min walking to myfair , 20min walking to convent garden or harrods, the hotel between oxford st. And edgwar road st. And there is Costa Coffee inside the Hotel.
Free Wifi , 24 hour reception , very good staff and all rooms have A/C .
A. C.
A lovely room, reception staff, sarah couldnt of done more if she tried such a lovely and helpful women thankyou so much .
S. M.
Generally a nice clean hotel with friendly staff however unluckily this time we ended up with a room facing onto Oxford Street which was noisy. Thankfully I'd brought earplugs otherwise I wouldn't have slept.
M. H. B.
Set in an art deco building, this grand hotel overlooks Oxford Street and Hyde Park and is a 3-minute walk from the Marble Arch tube stop and 1.3 miles from Buckingham Palace.
The polished rooms and suites provide flat-screen TVs, minifridges and Nespresso machines, as well as free Wi-Fi and 24-hour room service. Suites add separate sitting areas.
Amenities include a fitness centre, an acclaimed 1930s-themed restaurant and a classy jazz bar.
C. M.
Superb hotel. Great design. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Nice restaurant and deli. Location is fantastic.
C. M.
Very elegant. Was generally impressed by the staff, although one waiter could not identify the name of the food he was serving. Very impressed with the escalator!
T. B.
We dined at the Grill restaurant. Staff were very friendly and prompt. Food was pretty good. Wine and beer were great. Beautiful facilities.

N. M.
I just stopped in to ask if I could print off my big bus tour ticket as I needed a paper copy and the concierge, Mark, was so helpful and offered to help in any way that he could. The nicest guy. Mark is the best.
H. W.
Very spacious room, friendly, generous and humorous staff, beautiful decor, lovely complimentary bar and snacks, online ordering for room service and great menu, very good location within 20 minutes bus ride from kings cross/st pancras.
Y. M.
Great experience from start to finish. Esp in these uncertain times with Covid 19 we felt extremely comfortable.
e. a.
My fav hotel in the area. Everything works, spacious rooms, excellent wifi, good breakfast, friendly service and nice location near shops and restaurants.
N. I.
The hotel itself is located within a short walk from Oxford Street, which is nice, but the service is awful and the hotel design and interior are dated. Also the area feels pretty sketchy
T. R.
I was staying here for 3 Days and I can't complain at all! The service is excellent and the staff is very friendly, they help with everything without even asking for it. I appreciate this good service, keep it up.
A. B.
When we went for check in on 14th Oct at 3 pm the girl at the reception called Rima said our room was not ready and she said I don’t know why and her attitude was I don’t care, we had landed after a 12 hr flight and first time in London .
N. A.
Good hotel and perfect location if you want to shopping in Oxford street. But the lobby is not good enough to take seat there
G. W.
Really good location for conferences or training. Food is amazing and the rooms are perfect for large or small groups.
J. K.
Confusing to navigate, even once you're inside. But the rooms are nice and breakfast buffet is pretty darn good. Great location.
J. J.
Good conference venue, delicious food and helpful staff. Only downside couldn't see the screen well from the back of the room- would be helpful to have a smaller screen further down the room
T. A.
Great place to stay in. Very professional staff and excellent customer care. Secured place and safe. Close to Oxford Street and Hyde Park is only 5 minutes walk.

A great hotel in an excellent location for central London,This was our third staythere but at the end of our staywe were very disappointed!!On sunday 30th Nov we made queries with the concierge about a taxi for next day to take us to Gatwick airport and he told us it will cost us 70 sterling.About 10 pm that same daywe went to the desk to book our taxi, and thistme
another concierge that was duty told us that it would cost us 100 sterling!!!!we did not book from the hotel but booked online and it cost us just 55sterling,we left the hotel feeling let down and on a very bad note!!!!

My husband and I stayed at the Amber in August this year for three nights,we found the hotel to be very clean and the staff very helpful, but the size of our room was very disappointing for the price we had paid.We had to use the desk as a luggage stand as there was not enough room for it any where else(we had two bags),we also had to move a coffee table and chair to fit our second bag,to say the least it was a very small room.Would I stay there again, maybe, but I would ask to check the room out first.
