A truly incredible hostel to stay at. The staff are one big family who are so kind and super cool to chat with!! The facilities are clean, the rooms are nice, and the area is to die for. This is a MUST MUST MUST!

Firstly this hostel has an absolutely great manager who was very kind and patient with me as I encountered some problems before my visit. The hostel is also at a very convenient location as well as many theatres and restaurants are merely 10 minutes away on foot. I opted for a 12 bunk room which came with having to share the room with a lot of people which wasn't so bad in terms of my roommates' but sadly did result in a rough night's sleep as people kept coming in and out randomly and my bed just happened to be the one nearest to the door. I do wish that there was an extra pillow or the option to get another pillow though as the one I had wasn't so comfortable. Nonetheless, I had a pleasant stay for the one evening I was booked for. (3.5 but Google doesn't allow half a star)

Nice cosy hostel close to the British museum center to London city. Awesome people in the reception. Small rooms with shared bathroom best option for short and cheap stay.

super friendly staff and great people around! best place to stay in london on a budget. also, super clean and in the heart of the city, near everywhere :))

Great price for a private room in Central London. Staff were friendly and explained everything
I stayed in a private twin room, this was situated in another building a few streets away. I don't think however it was explained in advance. May feel uncomfortable walking back at night if your a lone traveller.
The other building is also not staffed, however room was very clean as were the shared shower and toilet, would stay again :)

Stayed for a night - property is clean, well maintained and friendly staff. .

I came with a group of about 20 students and stayed between 2 rooms, staying for nights out in London.
Location wise, it's not too far a walk from Russell Square, but make sure you have a map/phone.
The kitchen was well kept but didn't really use it - went out for meals instead, there are a few places nearby that are not too expensive.
The rooms are reasonable, the carpets were fraying a bit and there were only 3 plugs between all 12 of us, fortunately for the second night we got an extension cable so people could charge their phones.
The staff are okay, didn't really speak to them much apart from on check-in/check-out.
The facilities were clean, could have been cleaner of course but they are in regular use so it's understandable.
Free Wifi provided which was a big plus however.
The beds were alright, the pillows are really thin however and I had to fold it in half to get some comfort. Due to the layout of the rooms however there were gaps to the sides of some of the bunk beds, which was pretty dangerous but no-one fell fortunately.
Also note that that a Twin Private is actually just a bunk bed and not two individual beds.
I would probably try somewhere else being coming here again.

Great place to stay while visiting London. The staff are very welcoming and friendly.

Beds are comfy, staff are great, showers work well, good sized kitchen, nice lite lounge area with a PlayStation (with Netflix) a few games, books and even a couple of guitars

Take a look at the pictures because they are pretty true to what the hostel looks like! The place is separated into two buildings with the main building on Montague with the kitchen, large luggage storage, laundry, and lounge. The other building on little Russell street is pretty much just rooms. This place has a lot of stairs and bathrooms/showers might be on another floor in either building. Even though you might be on the top floor, I suggest booking a 6 bed or 8 bed room because you will have more space to walk around. The staff are super nice and helpful and keep the place clean! I only wish the bunk beds had more room between the bottom and top but this is not something the staff can change. Plus, this forces you to leave your bed. I highly recommend this place because of its amazing location and proximity to all of the tourist areas of London.

This hostel was great. I've stayed at a large number of different hostels throughout the years, and found this one to be top class. The staff are friendly and helpful, there are many free amenities, the four dorm room where we stayed was clean and included a sink. It was also surprisingly quiet, with minimal noise coming from outside, due to it being located across from the museum. So far my best hostel experience in London.

The best, even better than many hotels I have been in london. The clearance is just perfect. Lovely staff, safe, great location and amazing price.

The Astor was my my first hostel experience, and home away from home on my first trip to London. The staff was very kind and friendly, even when my credit card was shut down due to theft of the information. I was able to hang out in the common room and utilize the shared facilities while I got everything fixed up.
I stayed in the secondary location a couple blocks away - first floor, four-person room. The room was clean and warm. The restroom and shower facilities were clean, although the shower did produce a very strange smell from the drain. On the last day of my 5 day trip the sink in our room backed up, and the bathrooms were shut down due to plumbing issues. The only difficulty this presented was that things were locked off with no explanation or sign on the door, which made a very mysterious puzzle when I discovered it in the small hours of the morning.
I would absolutely come back in a heartbeat. The price was perfect, the staff was great.

Great location in beautiful area. Very clean with Santitiser everywhere needed. Staff are amazing! Making you feel safe and very much at home. Highly recommended to anyone looking to stay in a Hostel in London.
M. B.
Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms were clean, but pretty small. Perfect for being out all day and only needing a place to rest your head. No privacy curtains on beds or individual bed lights in my 4 person female dorm. Sink in the room, but bathroom was down a flight of stairs, not a big deal though. Overall, pretty nice place, but nothing fancy.

Astor Museum Hostel is a fine place to stay if you are on a budget and need to live in Central London. The hostel is a couple of old houses right in front of the British Museum. The location is perfect, as it is a very short walking distance from tube stations, and the main districts in London - Fitzrovia, Carnaby and Covent Garden. The service was okay, I did not have any issues. The rooms and toilets were clean, the staff were friendly. The prices were affordable and value for money for the location.
V. C.
It was amazing. The hostel has lots of facilities, laundry, kitchen, a room to leave your luggage for the day, a living room with netflix, books, guitars... They also offer free dinners and breakfast for one pound donation. Comfortable beds and great staff. The location is also really good, next to the British museum. I can’t find any perks
S. H.
Good for the price. This is the second time I've stayed here and this time I'm in the annex, which is a couple of roads away from the main hostel. The room is bigger than the last time which is nice but you have to go to the main building.for kitchen facilities. The dorm rooms are basic but the WiFi is decent, the bathrooms are clean and the beds are ok. If you're just looking for a cheap place to crash for a few nights you can't really go wrong here.
G. X.
Staff was amazing, free adapter and padlock rentals, location was great, breakfast (milk, cereal, bread, jam, coffee, tea) was okay for one pound which is donated to charity. The rooms could be cleaner as mine was pretty dusty. The bathrooms are not located nearby the rooms which was a pain if I needed to go in the middle of the night. The bathrooms could also be a bit cleaner. Overall it was an okay experience.
J. H.
Amazing location. Great staff. Pillows are thin. The other people there wanted to explore London so all of us never stayed in the Hostel for long. Be kind to your roommates and they will be kind to you.
Q. W.
Good experience to stay in Astor. The staff are very nice, helpful. I felt safe to stay during COVID. They cleaned the room, bathroom every day. When I come to London again, I will choose Astor! Thank you Astor!
L.
Centrally located. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful, he carried my luggage up to the 3rd floor as the hostel does not have an elevator. You have storage areas under the bed for each bunk. It was clean and the fan in the room does come in handy on hot days.
C. C.
Rooms are basic but clean, quiet, and reasonably comfortable. The fun loving staff will go out of their way to help you, which makes this place a 5 star hostel. Great neighborhood and a great location if you're traveling by foot, as it's walking distance to most attractions.
P. O.
I stayed for eight days and enjoyed every moment. A small hostel in an excellent part of town that is close to bars, food, attractions and public transport. The staff are a small team of enthusiastic and experienced travellers from all walks of life, they are very passionate about getting you the best London experience. A different social event every day that varied from eat ins, comedy nights and fun competitions. The room I was in was the 8 room share that was not crammed with beds and where very spacious. They provide essentially everything that you would expect from a hostel. It is best experienced over at least 4 days, good people and good company.
K. K.
Really affordable and a great fully equipped kitchen. In fact everything is great here... except sleeping. The bunks are practically made of wire, shaking like an earthquake when a bunkmate even rolls over. A sink in the room which encourages people to do their hygiene routine right next to you. And how are cheap privacy curtains on beds not the standard for these kinds of places? Still recommend it though, cheap, friendly, good location.
F. G.
Amazing location, probably the best of any proper London hostel, good prices, friendly staff and a great vibe :) Free dinners for everyone several times a week too. it's a good sized hostel, many guests stay a while so there's a welcoming community feel to it. It's a good balance between partying and chilling, with a lot of cool bars and dance spots nearby, and daily hostel-run events.
P. S.
Awesome place. The location is perfect! The staff was fantastic. Note that it's an old building, so keep that in mind. The only thing I'd say is that they didn't have enough restrooms considering the number of people living there. Yet, only once in my 4-day stay did I have to wait to use the showers in the morning.
N. N.
It's a very nice hostel in the center of London.
If your looking for a good hostel or just want to see the British museum, then there's no better hostel in London.
The staff us also very helpful and there is a nearly free breakfast ( 1 pound for charity).
D. B.
Great atmosphere with a really helpful staff. I do wish they had helped me out when I found out before checking in for my first night that the trains wouldn't allow me to stay my second night, but they weren't technically obligated. Not a fancy place, but good. The shower rooms/water closets are spread throughout the building. Some windows open very near the road, thought there is a gap that makes it feel safe enough.
E. G.
Super friendly hostel in a great location! Very convenient to get to the British Museum and close to an unground/tube stop. Staff as all great (and helpful!) there's optional nightly events. Only had a hit of trouble when I was first checking in because the sign outside the building is a bit small, so just keep a look out for it. If you're looking for a hostel in London that has a great location and atmosphere, highly recommend Astor Museum Hostel!
S. M.
THE BEST hostel I've EVER stayed in. From the incredible, intelligent, friendly and welcoming staff who work hard, are diverse and talented and who do a great job cleaning and running the hostel, to the impeccable clean and comfy rooms, bathrooms and living areas, to the fantastic luxurious location. You wont get a better hostel than this, or meet more wonderful people. They have a lockable metal drawer under each bed, free luggage storage, and will loan you a padlock incase you dont have one! The guests here are cool, smart, and polite, and it feels spacious and respectful. The lounge and kitchen feel like home, and are so clean, comfy and well equipped. This hostel has literally thought of everything you could possibly need and it's one of the oldest most established hostels in the world. I highly reccomend staying here, as it's not only well worth the price, but you will have an easy, hassle free time here, and will be able to relax a little more than you would by staying in some of the other hostels. I extended my stay here, and will absolutely stay here again. Thanks Museum Staff!!!!! 🥰💗😍🌸

Very good place, located in London’s center. The staff is friendly. You can do a laundry, you can print your tickets ( for museum, for train,...). It’s clean, the beds are okay.
Très bon endroit situer au centre de Londres, à deux pas de Oxford street, à 10 minutes de trafalgar square/Leicester square/ Trafalgar Square.
C.
Friendly staff, clean beds, good atmosphere
E. C.
There was more room here than I was expecting. It didn't feel overly cramped even in the sixteen person room, although there is a bit of a wait using bathrooms/showers. Everything has been clean so far. Everyone in the room has been respectful in terms of noise but the door is exceptionally squeaky and it kept me up a bit with some people coming in later. It's a decent place for a good price, and it's in a really nice location. Kinda awkward for a solo traveler as it seems no one really wants to talk, but that might be on me.
A. S.
The location of the hostel is surprisingly great. Just a minute walk from the museum. Good clean rooms and bathroom. The list of facilities just goes on and on, most of which is free! Definitely worth staying so close to some nice streets and eateries.
M. C.
Very nice hostel!!
Nice vibe, nice staff and interesting people from all over the world! The rooms are fine. There is even a fully equiped kitchen with dining area. Also there is aan lounge area and a 24/7 reception. Almost every day/evening there is an event like drinking games, going tot clubs or boardgames. Also sometimes there is free dinner. The staff is amazing. They clean the bathrooms regularly and they are really friendly. Most rooms are with 6-10 beds.
If you want a good, cheap accomodation this is the place to be! Also the location is great! It is located in a really good neihgbourhood and across the street is the Britisch museum.
C. C.
Very lovely staff. So much facilities not just in the kitchen (free milk, kitchen foil, breakfasts in benefit of children...); they also provide you with free padlocks, adaptors, suitcase scale... you may find people and staff personel speaking your language.
The place is very good and the location just fantastic if you like museums.
Cheap considering the zone (~£22/night).
Very recommended for those who don't mind to sleep with 11 strangers in the same room, of course.
F. M.
Stayed for just under two weeks, and it was absolutely brilliant.
I mean, it's a hostel, you're not going to be getting some spa pool and chardonnay expereince here, it's closer to a fosters and friendship deal. It feels delightfully close to being a share house, what with the atmosphere being so relaxed and quiet most of the time.
The hosts are generous with time and all have excellent suggestions for things to do and places to go.
You're located UNBELIEVELY centrally. I never even bothered taking my coat when I wanted to go to the museum.
If you like theatre, this is the place to be. About five minutes from any theatre you might care to visit, and if you don't have plans, the nightly activities on the blackboard at reception will be sure to keep you occupied.
It's not luxury, it's just a really, really good hostel. Friendly, clean, convenient, and a really chilled out place to be. Highly recommend.
M. P. G. R.
Amazing stay, its super convenient, free breakfast and dinner are included, lovely staff, clean and organised arrangement of beds and toilets. Great location, right in central London, 10 minutes from Oxford Circus, I highly recommen the Astor Museum Inn Hostel, I really enjoyed my stay.
D. S.
Such an amazing hostel! Funny, welcoming staff, and guest who are down to have a good time. PLUS, they served all vegan dinners when I was there. I don't know if they still do that, but I hope so :)
C. C.
Location is great. Beside British museum, between 2 underground station. Walkable distance to most famous area, such as West End, SOHO, Covent Garden.
Staff are nice and very helpful. Although we (3 girls) live in 3rd floor and there is no lift, the Gentleman staff help us take the BIG luggage to our room. Thank you so much for their help.
The room and share area is nice and cosy. Dorm room is a little bit small. The share toilet is OK. Kitchen is a good place to meet new friends. They have nice 1 pound charity breakfast.
I could only said me and my friends have a wonderful stay in Astor.
K. R.
Awesome staff, and lots to do right down the street. It's a little tight quarters but the first floor bathrooms are newly remodeled and it's a really unique space. A perfect stay for intrepid individuals.
C. C.
Great stay! Super prime location with friendly staff! One thing to note, if you need a towel, it's 1 pound cash. I arrived super late and didn't have any cash on me so that night, I went toweless. The rooms were hot due to no AC but with fans, it was alright. Overall, it was a great stay.
S. M.
Awesome stuff here at the Astor Museum. The staff is so full of personality and they’ll do their best to make you feel at home. Some may say cramped, but I call it cozy. Lovely hostel vibe, I’d recommend it to anyone traveling solo or in a group.
M. D.
Very good value for a bed in central London. Very clean. Very friendly. Breakfast was great. Be warned though lots of stairs! Especially if you're on the 3rd floor as I was last night. I would recommend this place to friends wanting to stay in London.
Z. Z.
The location is nice, right next to the British Museum. The rooms are cozy and the mattresses are comfortable, and every amenity you could ask for is free with a deposit. My only complaint is that three could be more power outlets in the rooms, but that is a very minor issue.
A. R.
Rooms are ok, though would benefit from a power socket and a place to store small personal items. Rooms are clean and have good storage. Showers also ok. Common space is not great. What sets the hostel apart is the ethical focus - breakfast charge goes towards charity and they regularly fundraise for good causes.
A. L.
amazing location, great people, the staff and guests were so nice. Even going by yourself you will have an amazing time here ! Just ask for information or advice to visit and going out they will be fantastic with that. I felt so comfy in this hostel ! Just try it !!
J. A.
Loved it! It’s a hostel so don’t expect 5 star hotel standards. It’s pretty clean and the staff are excellent. Great for tourists on a budget. And make sure you try the walking tour they provide. Would definitely go back.
F. W.
Super nice staff. I would not have room 3 on the ground floor again as the window overlooks backyard where people stay loud till late. I don't think there is night time rule :-(
S. N.
Perfect location in Bloomsbury, across from the British Museum. A satellite building a couple blocks away provides quieter space with quads. Super friendly, lots of amenities incl full kitchen a £1 (to charity) all you can eat breakfast with tea/coffee, toast, yogurt, cereals -- hella reasonable. Free cranky WiFi. Locks, adapters, various free with deposit. Clean.
V. F.
This place saved me after the disaster that was Smart Russell Hostel (see review on their page). Great events, super clean, lovely staff, great vibe which attracts cool guests. Super accommodating in a great location. Love this place ❤️
M. G.
This hostel is located near the British Museum and it's well served by busses and by the underground. The location is really strategic to move aroubd the city! The rooms are rigorous but for a few days they are good! The staff was really nice and friendly with us!
T. M.
Basic hostel. Nice staff and very helpful. Lounge areas maybe a bit small for number of people around. Location was pretty good too. Not far from Soho and tube is fairly close as well.
M. L.
Very good location. You can stay in the city and don't take any public transportation. The hostel is very clean and it isn't a problem the shared toilet. The staff is amazing. Recommend :)
K. B.
This is how a hostel should be: warm, friendly, helpful and open 24 hrs! Astor hostel is cozy and clean and in a really great location! Coming and going is really convenient and all our dorm mates were nice and friendly. Definitely recommend this hostel!
E. S.
The rooms dont have air conditioning so it gets a little warm. But the showers have warm water. The kitchen is clean and all the facilities. Great place to meet people and its near a lot of tourist areas. Even right beside the british museum. Great place to stay.
W. L.
Location is good, the British Museum is just "next door". The theatres around are in walkable distance. Staffs are very nice, even the girl staff has the golden heart to help me to carry the heavy luggage upstairs. The Room is little bit small, the shared bathroom and toilet are separated so you do not need to wait long for shower.
And thanks Hadi, a super nice staff, who help to carry my friend's luggage downstairs, you can imagine how heavy the luggage is for a girl XD.
You are really the DIVA in the Astor.., no, in the universe. haha
T. S.
Good and clean youth hostel with friendly stuff! Very good location next to the Brithish Museum. Posibility of locking personal things under the bed. Fresh towels can be lend for just a few pounds.
Big common kitchen and a room with a Playstation and Netflix.
N. C.
I really enjoyed this hostel. Everywhere is clean, the price was reasonable for an 8p dorm (17£). You can get breakfast for 50c, with coffee, toasts, cereals, juice. And above all, the guests and staff are very friendly and willing to have a chat. The smoko room is outside the kitchen, so you don't have to go on the street. There's even a PS3 with a few games and a computer, all free of charges. The only low point is that every bed doesn't have his own power supply so you have to leave your stuff to charge. I'd come back here next time I'd be in London.
I. J. j.
Staffs are friendly, place is clean, really good atmosphere, good breakfast PS: £1, location is good as well.
So, nothing to complain. Everything went well.
M. P.
I ve been backpacking all across the UK, absolutely this is the best hostel i ve never been, clean and friendly, and also it's not too busy as much as most of the hostels in London. Most of the services provided are free
good job guys
M. J.
Astor Museum Hostel saved my life. Not only were the rooms comfortable and clean, but the service was exemplary. Imagine this; you’ve stumbled back to the hostel after an evening of sloppy boozing, drinking and singing in the streets. You’re struck by lightning—you’ve neglected to stash beer in advance and now all the shops are closed. You wander the hostel hallways, sniffing and mumbling. A glorious someone, wearing halo and wings, arrives on scene like a beer angel. “Take my Fosters,” the angel says. “I’ve got a case o in the fridge.” God bless you, Astor Museum Hostel. May you enjoy prosperity and flourishing through the ages.
G. S.
Located beside the British Museum in the West End, this hostel is quiet for central London. No fun walking up over 60 stairs to get to your bed. Would stay there again!
J. L.
Fantastic location! Good staffs and nice kitchen. However, some rooms are far away from the reception, in the building at the next street with poor equipments. So you have to walk a long way to the hall and kitchen.
O. O.
A great place that feels like home.. warm and friendly receptionist, free breakfast, clean and affordable rooms..I stayed here for two days when I newly arrived London..I must confess that it offers a greater value for money paid
A. P.
Great location, incredible staff and unbeatable value - will be returning in the future!
J. E.
If you are looking for only a bed and roof over your head this is the place to go. The Hostel doesn't really offer much apart from that. That staff is aloof and don't interact much with visitors unless you are part of the group who is basically living there. I was fortunate to come at a time that was very slow and had an entire 6 bed room to myself which made staying there more comfortable. On the flip side the location is central and a short tube ride from anywhere in the city. The internet situation in this place was the most frustrating part. Firstly, they only gave you 40 minutes and then it was 1 pound for every 40 mins after. They also only had internet access in the main building which is a total drag. Next time I'm in London I will pay extra to stay in a nice place.
P.
In the very heart of London (and still cheap). I've seen the most of the London's "must sees" and without need for public transport, actually. It is really pleasant place, with very kind staff. Toilets and showers could be a bit cleaner but it also dependes on customers, I think.
P. R.
I just came home from a wonderful week at the Astor Museum Hostel. The location is perfect; it's next to the British Museum, but also a short walk to Covent Garden and Leicester Square. The staff is super friendly and there's a free breakfast! There is also free WIFI, even though you'll probably be too busy to spend time online. The beds are good and the lounge is also a good place to hang out.
I'll definitely go back to this hostel!
J. Z.
Room is very airy and clean !! Location the on of the best you can ask for in London! I love my stay there sooo much. I wish I could be back one day ...
A. L.
I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a hostel. There are plenty of restaurants close by and several do stay open late, and it's very easy to access buses and a couple different tube lines. The staff was super welcoming and thorough.
S. Y.
Great location, and staff! They were so helpful when my friend and I had question about where to go and what to see. One of the down sides to this hostel was that the only outlets in the common rooms were in the middle of the floor so that was a bit inconvenient. Also the common kitchen area was not stocked very well so the breakfast they said provided in the morning was lacking.
D. R.
It's located right next to the British Museum and not only it isn't expensive for a hostel in the heart of London but it also has nice staff, clean rooms, lots of toilets and showers and a good atmosphere. Loved it!
G. N.
Overall great for a hostel.
Good price, great location, friendly staff, clean facilities.
Stayed in a mix dorm with 6 beds.
N. H.
Close to a giant free museum, as well as walking distance from shopping, drinking, and cheap eats. Everything I needed for a week out in London. There's (near) free breakfast for $1 that's toast and cereal. Wifi everywhere. Reasonable beds, and everything was clean.
J. L.
Old building, so the stairs are slightly wonky and the paint is an inch thick. But the staff are amazing, the atmospheres great and there is breakfast for just a pound to charity.
n. n.
This is simply the best hostel i've ever been to.
17 GBP for a night with breakfast is an amazing price (booking und checkin on the same day).
It's clean and offers anything you could wish for.
Free (fast) wifi, hairdryers, adaptors, padlocks etc.
the staff is the friendliest i've ever had the fortune to meet. there's always someone who could help you out.
it's near holborn station (2-5 mins walk). there's a food&wine (24/7) not even 200 meters from the hostel.
sainsbury's is next to holborn station (you will find ATMs there).
camden town is in walking distance (30 mins walk) or you take the tube from holborn.
the staff knows the perfect places, whether you want to go a nightclub or do a pub crawl.
you check in as a stranger and check out with lots of new friends.
K. L.
Awesome location right in the city center of London. Staff is nice as well. They're neighbors aren't as much. Definitely stay here if your in London!
H. S.
1st place I ever stayed in London and now that I know other hostels I will never go back there. It was fine - secure, roof over my head etc but wifi isn't free after 40mins worth and no kitchen I'm aware of.
F. A.
Astor Museum is a great place to be at. cool staff. great location. the nicest touch was the daily events you could join. The lounge is so cosy and the PS4 is a unique touch. keep it up.
N. O. Y. B.
Stayed there a couple times, once in June and again this October. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms/facilities and affordable.
C. K.
The Astor Museum Inn Hostel is a good pick for backpackers and other young adults who just want to spend a night in the heart of London, next to the British Museum and very near to Holborn underground station. People at the reception desk are very helpful and friendly. Just check your bed beforehand for squeezing noise, as this might prevent some people from getting enough sleep.
J. M.
Great hostel, bathrooms are fairly clean and breakfast is good. Only improvements I would suggest: breakfast until later (midday) and not closing the terrace so early!
a. s.
What a location!! Rooms are also spacious (I stayed at the Little Russell St building). Free breakfast and free dinner on certain days. Not sure how they make money :P
J. D.
Excellent hostel! Friendly staff, very clean, rooms very peaceful at night, premade beds, great hard mattresses, amazing location. <3 Astor!!
K. K.
Great hostel in a really nice part of London. Staff is very helpful and the rooms/toilets are clean. Very much recommend!
C. C.
The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Really appreciate the guy Hadi, he helps me to carry a very heavy luggage from the 4th floor to the storeroom. He is the diva of the universe and my hero of the day!!! :)
D. N.
I really liked that they had free breakfast and dinner! They also did activities every night so you could meet people and go out after. Really, really good location!
J. H.
Good place to stay, friendly staff, and it seems pretty clean. Non private toilet or shower makes it a 4 out of 5 but that is to be expected with hostels.
K. M.
The place was really clean and well kept. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Had a very comfortable stay.
J. L.
great people Great Hostel !
M. J.
beautiful little hostel, always friendly personal, every day an event, very good breakfast for 1 pound, and free dinner on a few days, perfect for young people, who are extroverted
k. s.
Stayed here back in 1991 between overseas travels.hope it's improved since then.very clicky Australian staff and my stay in the room above the main door being interupted by bed bugs,so much so we were evacuated to the annexe up the street.did met some nice people there though..
R. M.
Rooms and kitchen are nice. Breakfast is great. Service is really kind and helpful. Wifi in the room is a bit iffy.
V. C.
This Hostel is very good, a great student atmosphere with pictures on the wall, funny drawing , Union Jack. For £18 with breackfast include , I strongly recommend it !
G. J.
Fantastic location and great staff. Beds aren't overly comfortable, and pillows suck. But you get what you pay for.
J. H.
Lovely staff, best location if you are a museum geek, relatively clean and definitely affordable. There are long-term guests staying here as well.
Q. W.
Good atmosphere and good location. It is really close to the British Museum and other attractions. I like the staff there too. Overall, a great experience!
C. U.
Very good. The staff is very nice and they will help you un everything. There is a kitchen where you could cook.
A. G.

The location was good and the place was clean, but the "lockers" were not safe; even when closed and locked, it's possible to put your hand in. Some of the staff was somewhat cold too, but some of them were also pretty friendly.
