Lovely hotel, with a botanical feel to it. Great location - not far walking distance from London Euston, to theatres & Chinatown.
Lovely to relax in the bar after too!
Staff very polite & friendly, meet & greet on the way to breakfast too (which had a superb choice of food). Lovely added touches that made our stay even more special.
Our room was a gorgeous, spacious executive room (originally booked a garden view - hotel upgraded us - which was lovely).
However, if there were any things to change it would be to have sound proof windows (was a bit noisy) & maybe aircon in the rooms.
Would definitely recommend this hotel, a great stay!!

Brilliant hotel, lovely decor throughout very clean. Amazing staff who did everything and more to make our stay quite special. It was my sons birthday and all staff wished him happy birthday they even left a card and cookies in our room for him. House keeping staff are very helpful too, and our room was cleaned and tidied each day. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from Russel Square tube, is surrounded by restaurants and shops so is a good location. To avoid the busy street book a garden view room at the back of the hotel you cant hear any road noise and we had the window open all night.
Will definitely use this hotel again.

Excellent customer service. Great location, comfort, staff Very friendly and helpful. full English breakfast included. Garden view rooms .. twin..good size. Minutes walk to Russell sq tube. British museum. Great place to stay if going theatre

Friendly welcome to the hotel by staff. Both the bedroom & bathroom was exceptionally clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and provided a good night sleep. Breakfast was buffet style and provided both continental and English hot food. I would suggest sufficient for most if not all. I would and have recommended and will stay again. Very good value for a stay in London.

Well located for museums, Soho and theatres this hotel is clean, comfortable, and the staff are exceptionally helpful and efficient. I had a single room which was pleasantly decorated and included a modern TV, tea, coffee & biscuits. The bed was adequately comfortable but not amazing. Breakfast was a self-service buffet with some modest items, unfortunately no more exotic continental items. Overall recommended and I would stay again.

Excellent staff. The workers- from the reception desk to the restaurant- are all superb.
The rooms are nice, quiet, clean and cozy, and I mean those rooms regarding the garden.
There are two solvable problems though:
1. There is no air-condition. In most days one can get along with it by opening the windows.
We don't know what is going on in rainy days or extra hot weather.
2. The water flushing in the toilet is a little bit hard to manipulate. There are no cleaning instruments in the toilet, which is inconvenient to some people.

Nice to be back at the Bedford after a long gap. Convenient place to stay as ever. Breakfast, I have to say, was a bit chaotic - late starting and lots of things not put out ready. But the staff are friendly and helpful, and so long as you're not in a hurry it's great.

Fantastic stay. I booked with 2hrs notice for a work trip. For the price, I was expecting a run down typical 80s Hotel. I was wrong. It was one of the most comfortable nights sleep I've ever had in London.
I will be back

Good location. The room I was in was small but clean. The room was hot but soon sorted by opening a window.
The room was very noise as it was near the lift so every time the lift was in use the motor noise was loud!
Acceptable give the price.

Hotel has literally just reopened.Staff were exceptional from the reception right the way through.Very impressed with the Hotel.Usually stay at Tavistock but that still closed.
Breakfast needs a little attention but I am sure just teething problems.
Will stay again in fact just booking for two weeks time.

Wonderful customer service. Rooms are very warm but I'd be complaining if they were cold. Breakfast was so so but I only really have tea and juice for breakfast. Super location.

Would stay here again, surprisingly good. Garden view room was nice. Rooms aren’t huge but hotel is clean.
S. A.
Very clean and nice spacious rooms.
Breakfast was’nt that good can be better.
Very attentive staff, hotel just reopened. Wil deffo stay again👍🏻

Very nice staff, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The WiFi was very poor.

An excellent experience and opportunity to served with amazing customer service. Amazing food by very talented chef's. Come one come all and enjoy.
S. B.
Lovely staff and so quiet if you get garden view room, you wouldn't think you were in middle of london
M. B.
I found the breakfast arrangements were really bad.I had to ask for cups milk spoons. Tables we not cleared which left people waiting a long time.Staff were polite but some were not trained in service.
R. C.
Very well located hotel - pleasant staff. Good stay and good value
M. D. C.
Always a great place to go and have food or just some drinks. It all seemed very quiet, never seen it like that before.
R. C.
Very convenient hotel, friendly and helpful staff

Need Air conditioning in rooms as it so hot even in the winter
B. K.
It was a pleasant stay here. Centrally located close to the British Museum, it's really easy to get around from here. All the staff were always kind and helpful and the breakfast was great. Thanks for the hearty English breakfast. The room was more spacious than I expected, but the bathroom was a bit outdated. There is no refrigerator in the room. Apart from that, it is the best place to stay in Central London at a reasonable price.
D. B.
Hot & Noisy, but adequate.
Had a one night stay here for work. Location is excellent with great transport links. Had been refurbished in recent years so looks nice enough. Rooms are basic though and tidy, but entirely unremarkable. With single glazing and no air conditioning on a warm summer evening you'll find it noisy and uncomfortable. Do ask for a room on the west side if its warm. Service was OK, although I found breakfast average and poorly managed. I would consider staying here again (if I had a better room), but it wouldn't be my first choice.
D. P.
Honestly, disappointed with room but giving 5 stars for the staff and there attitude and helpfulness. Covid secure but felt "Safe" not just lip service proper attention to detail. For us the garden made up for any disappointment in room . Looking forward to our next visit in December
m. e.
I was pleasantly surprised. For central London. I had a great twin room, clean, quiet and furnished to my needs. Complimentary tea and coffee. The view was really good too. I highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast is good. Fresh fruit (apples, bananas etc) and a bit more on the continental side of the breakfast would make it perfect! Waiters are a little too chatty between them at breakfast. Other than that, place is central and worth every penny!!!
P.
Really good, consistent price. Bright, spacious room (for a single bed!). Free breakfast buffet in the morning with friendly staff and perfect location for access to Euston Station and Universities.
Quick check-in and check-out (and you can leave your extra luggage at check-out for a fee of 50p).
The only downside was a blood-stain on the door frame in the bathroom the cleaner's didn't notice over the 2 nights i was there.

Comfortable and affordable in a great location. My dinner in the restaurant there was absolutely superb (sea bream).
The outdoor garden area has been exceptionally well designed and I spent ages enjoying the water features with a nice drink.
At breakfast time I was greeted by the friendliest lady ever and made to feel generally welcome and looked after. I can't remember her name (began with L) but she is a credit to your hotel.
I'll definitely be back, this is a rare gem of a place, especially for the price!
S. L.
Lovely modern hotel in great location. Very clean. Beautiful breakfast room/cafe/bar. Lovely outside sun terrace too. Very comfy double bed. Badly designed sink in bathroom which means turned on tap doesn't fully flow into the sink.. overall great hotel with friendly staff.
B. p.
Lovely place. Rooms are very clean and had everything we needed. Staff are super friendly and breakfast was all you can eat... AMAZING. Walking distance to Covent Garden and close to 2 tube stations both on different tube lines. Highly recommended.
A. F.
Great location within short walking distance of many useful locations, including the Russel Square Underground station. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms are about as expected for the price point, which is rather decent. Only major downside is that rooms are not air conditioned, which will be a problem only if you happen to be visiting during a heat wave. Amenities are also great for the price point. Overall, I would definitely consider staying here if I was ever visiting the area again.
G. E.
Great hotel! Central and close to two main underground’s, and bus services right outside. Thomas, at the reception desk offers exceptional customer service. Always willing to assist with any need required. Aurora, in the restaurant is an absolute gem & to see her every morning at breakfast, is a treat. She is a true asset to this hotel which I have stayed at for the last 5 years.
K. A.
Great place for the money October through March when you can open the windows. No Aircon, and if you're on the street side it's noisy! But if you use a white noise generator app, you can get literally the best rate for a comfortable bed in the city. Decent bar and somewhat disorganized bar staff... concierge doesn't know what his job is, but rest of desk staff friendly. If you're just looking for a place to sleep, this is a great place.

My wife and I spent two weeks In July last year. The room was basic but very clean. Loved the central location of the hotel. With many tourist attractions within walking distance. Desk and dining room staff were pleasant and helpful. Definitely would book in again when visiting London again.
P. Z. M.
Great clean affordable hotel in centre of London.
W. W.
Convenient location to the underground station. Excellent complimentary breakfast. No air conditioning although a fan can be borrowed with 20 pound deposit. There is air conditioning at the lobby and breakfast area. Hot water from the bathroom is very hot and one should take care. The water pressure from the shower head is also very high. Overall very friendly staff.
E. A.
Pretty ordinary hotel, recently remodeled, with good prices. Adequate restaurant, but there are plenty more nearby. Biggest pluses: lovely garden in the back for eating and drinking; only a short walk to the British Museum. Biggest minus: NOT AIR CONDITIONED. Rooms facing the street get blazing hot and stay hot most of the night.

Nice clean hotel. Rooms are small but beds are comfy. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. Good location.

The Bedford Hotel had the nicest staff you could imagine. On our final day, we needed to take our luggage across the street and down the road to meet our tour group, and one of the front desk staff carried it for us, which was incredibly kind. The hotel rooms weren't fancy, but they had everything we needed, we were very close to Russell Square Gardens and Kings Cross, and the small but beautifully maintained garden terrace was a lovely spot of peace in the middle of London.

I've been coming to the Bedford Hotel for thirty years! It is the only hotel I will stay in while visiting London because it is super centrally located, the rooms, while small, are absolutely clean as they can be. The front desk staff is helpful and friendly and I always feel as if I am a member of the Bedford family when I return to the hotel. The cafe and the beautiful garden in the back of the hotel are really wonderful and the lobby is a great, relaxing place to spend a few hours after you come back from a day of hopping around London. Additionally, the hotel is just a few blocks away from Russell Square tube station and the British Museum is literally around the corner. I've traveled all over the world but I always come back to my second home at the Bedford Hotel on Southampton Row. You can't do better in the British capital!

Good value for money given the location. Very good breakfast included. Comfortable room with tea and coffee making facilities although the pillows are a bit hard. Would definitely come here again.
B. D.
Frequently stay here for work due to the easy location. The staff are lovely and friendly, inparticular Yvonne and Anna at reception who are very helpful, it's these little touches that make a difference. Thank you.
T. S.
The outside of this building doesn't do it justice. Lovely fresh and clean decor. Friendliest reception and restaurant staff. Had room 404 a twin room with views towards BT tower.
Breakfast great.
We will be back as this was such good value. Would love to sit in the garden with a cold beer in the sun it looked amazing. Don't bother searching for anywhere else.
C. S.
Amazing hotel, very cute decor. The breakfast was amazing, fantastic location very close to the tube and bus stops. Concierge was extremely helpful for arranging sightseeing tours and getting theatre tickets.
P. C.
Great location to rail / tube stations, theatre land and Oxford street , hotel rooms are a bit dated and in need of modernisation especially the showers and door locks , the hotel is very clean and the staff were very polite , the restaurant was very well laid out and the breakfast was nice, we did not purchase any other meals from here as we had eaten out on our tours ( 4 adults ).
The garden area though we did not used is very good and relaxing, the front of the hotel is on a very busy main road...so if you book a room ask for the rear of the hotel or you don't open your windows, overhaul it is a nice place to stay.
J. O.
Absolutly amazing :) staff super friendly, room clean and well manitaned. Quiet, not pricy, close to the downtown, breakfast typically british but very delicious. My two years old son loved the stay and wishes to come back :) fully recommended!

The Bedford Hotel is everything, and more, that they advertise. I found personal and friendly service during my recent stay there and all my needs were catered for. The hotel connected me to the hotel internet when I told them that the network from my own country was not working and this was most useful. The room was clean and comfortable and the food was superb. I would definitely stay there again during my next stay in London and hope to have enough time to relax in the comfortable lounge and garden which the hotel also provide.
G. L.
Well, this is not the best hotel I have seen, however, I got it with my BA flight for almost nothing. The service is great, though. I got a late check out without any additional costs. WLAN is available. Breakfast does not offer much, however, again, service is great.
My room was tiny and had no A/C. It was hot even outside was only about 21 Celsius (and of course cooler the night). I had to open the window, you can't open it much. The street is very loud, all night. And not much fresh air did get in. I almost did not sleep. That is bad. Other rooms might be better.
As the price/performance ratio is pretty good in my case as well as the service, the hotel will get 3 stars (otherwise not more than 2).
The tube station is just 5 minutes to walk. There is a lobby available and a garden with fountains, where you can relax.
M. G.
It was hot summer in London and this hotel doesn't have A.C. There are windows, but you are not supposed to open them when windy. If you do open them then is too noisy. I asked for a fan and was given a very dirty and dusty one and had to pay a deposit. The rooms are Ok and appeared to be renovated, but some things like heaters look very old. Restaurant is good and breakfast is Ok.
P. O.
we had a great experience at the Bedford hotel. The room was very clean and spacious with a great choice for breakfast. We Ate at the hotel with a very good menu and very keenly priced. The location is great for many of Londin's atractions and in particular theatreland. The price was excellent for a centrally place hotel. I wiuld recimmend the hotel for keen pricing without skimping on the esentials. The hotel added to making my wife's birthday visit a special treat.
B. H.
Always good in here. The outside space they have is a bonus if the weather is good. The wines are inexpensive and the food is incredibly good and reasonably priced. The staff have always been very friendly, efficient and polite. Always a good time.
C. S.
Amazing hotel, very cute decor. The breakfast was amazing, fantastic location very close to the tube and bus stops. Concierge was extremely helpful for arranging sightseeing tours and getting theatre tickets.
M. P.
Clean and well located but past prime age. The rooms are tiny, like in most of London's hotels. No electronic key cards, but instead physical keys with massive metal slabs attached, rather ridiculous to carry and use. Otherwise all fine, clean and decent breakfast offered.
M. W.
For the money I think it's a good location (a few minutes from the tube) but some touches in the rooms would be appreciated. The bed was very firm and frankly felt like a cheap mattress. I slept in a single bed which had a bit of a disconcerting wobble to it. If the doubles/queens do the same thing then you'll be waking your partner up all night. Freeze dried coffee only. Tiny tv. The bathroom is separated from the toilet which I found odd because you have to cross the gal to wash your hands after using the toilet. A few updates would go a long way.
D. B.
Great location....on the Piccadilly line, giving direct access from Heathrow plenty of bus routes. Close to British museum. Small but sufficiently sized single rooms. Breakfast options good
L. J.
Does the basics but the room is noisy and curtains let a lot if light in so struggled to sleep. Breakfast is Ok, fresh fruit would be nice. No air con so very warm!
l. g.
Lovely hotel with good staff, very clean. Bedroom nice but traffic noise led to lack of sleep. Advertised as quiet haven but only if you fortunate to have room facing garden which was a gem.
E. G.
Excellent position. Good garden area and dining area. The bedroom room did need some updating and a bit noisy at the front of the hotel. We enjoyed our visit nevertheless.
M. B.
A standard hotel, the rooms are clean, but the t.v. needs to be updated. The breakfast is good all help yourself, full English to continental. The room had a seprate bathroom to the toilet, the extractor fan did not work. Easy to get to and from Russell square tube station.
P. K.
I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. Have been there more than 5 times already. Rooms are small but quite comfortable. Hotel has its own unique style.
v. d.
Overall the hotel is ok. It is not very expensive and you get what you pay for. But nothing really to complain about. I would go there again. One thing: there is no air conditioning, so probably avoid in hot summer days.

Well appointed rooms, but air conditioning should be put in the rooms. My stay was spoilt, as it was too hot. We had to open the windows, which wasn't adequate to cool down the room & then it was too noisy.
L. A.
Lovely hotel, recently refurbished. Staff very welcoming. Bar staff excellent! Especially David and Catrolina ( hope I spelt that right). Evening meal was lovely. Nothing is too much trouble, also very clean hotel. Good location.
j. a.
Had a good stay at the Bedford. Evening meal, the mixed grill, was excellent value. The breakfast is good as well. The staff are great. I quite often stay here when in Londonn.
r.
Very good hotel. Not to pricee Fine breakfast. Close to the transportations. Clean. Nice end helpful stuff. Love it! This will be the hotel for my future visits in London.
a.
Clean and comfortable. Basic but well appointed rooms. Great value for money. Breakfast service is wonderful given its inclusion in all rates.
D. B.
Small friendly hotel food good clean pleasant surroundings. Bed a bit lumpy and pillows too hard. Would come again it's close to all amenities.
R. V.
Food is great, location is a bit far from central london, but great for a relaxing evening. Rooms are a bit small for a big person like myself, 6' tall. Overall awesome hotel for the price.
M. B.
It is a good honest old fashioned hotel. It is clean, fully functional and comfortable. The staff are well trained, helpful and friendly. I'll be back.
T. M.
Our short stay was excellent, as always. Comfortable accommodation, friendly staff and all one could reasonably wish for at breakfast.
S. -.
you have 2 options, either, sleep in a hot and stuffy room with no air con, OR, open the windows to cool the room but then have to listen to the roar of the traffic and sirens all night long becasue theres a massievly busy road right outside. Nice breakfast though!
p. l.
One of several hotels in the Imperial London chain. Very friendly and helpful staff and food although plain was very tasty. Food is served all day so good for a pre theatre meal
K.
This is generally a good hotel but the lack of air conditioning makes it very hot in the summer. Also the prescence of large numbers of bar/garden users who are not hotel residents is very oppresive.
M. B.
Hidden pearl in London. Not the best hotel in London but one of the best budget hotel with a great cost to quality rate. Internally renewed with spacious single room. Conveniently located at a walking distance with the west end and Soho.
R. S.
A perfectly acceptable but unmemorable London hotel in a good location. Restaurants nearby were good, the hotel breakfast was tasty but lukewarm. Stay here if you get a deal.
B. D.
a decent hotel with great prices for central london. helpful staff and a excellent breakfast selection make for a nice venue overall. Try for a room at the back for a quieter nights sleep.
K. S.
The staff have been so friendly, the beds are a little hard but still comfortable, the room has enough space and is well outfitted. And the garden is beautiful!
M. R.
Nice and handy for westend but could do with air conditioning in the rooms, also could be a bit flexible with the free meal offer its not always convenient to eat dinner in the hotel on the first night.
A. L.
Very reasonably priceda bit of traffic noise even on the 4th floor so would advise an even higher room didn't like the way I was welcomed at breakfast waitress just asked from across the room how many and then pointed to a table no information on how the buffet was later out or offered tea.
o. m.
We have been staying in this lovely hotel for over 20 years when in London; it's central position kind and helpful staff always deliver; it's been refurbished recently so it looks much better.
D. W.
If you're fed up with the bleak Travelodge, then try this hotel in beautiful Bloomsbury. Clean, warm, and welcoming. Great breakfast, lovely rooms, and very reasonably priced!
B. D.
Frequently stay here for work due to the easy location. The staff are lovely and friendly, inparticular Yvonne and Anna at reception who are very helpful, it's these little touches that make a difference. Thank you.
f.
Lovely place to stay easy reach of central London and other places of interest. Also if you fancy a meal in your room there is room service up to 9.30pm
C. D.
Good value for money we did a superbteaks deal and it was better than we expected. Decent rooms and reasonable food. Good location and friendly staff.
G. S.
The Hotel is clean and i like the location. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. I will probably stay again.
R. B.
Good value for a London Hotel, nice clean rooms and a reasonable size. 10 minute walk to Euston station and a nice walk to the sites of the capital.
C. U.
Okay place. Helpful and friendly staff. Terrible breakfast. 1 Pound if you want them to keep your luggage after checkout.
j. p.
Great location. Good, clean hotel with friendly staff. Everything you need and definitely a fantastic 3 star hotel.
J. M.
Great hotel in nice location ideal for theatre land (10/15 min walk) to most venues or two min walk to nearest underground station. Buffet breakfast first-class
J. L. P.
A really perfect location, only 5 mins walk to British Museum, and 15 mins to West End and the lovely Covent Garden, Fantastic breakfast and excellent service ! Really clean rooms
T. T.
Nice hotel not fancy but clean, comfortable and not expensive for London. Breakfast was good. Great location .
L. M.
Location location rooms very comfortable lovely breakfast the wife and I have stayed there on our last 3 trips to London I recommended
G. H.
Nice enough.... good breakfast.... but not double glazed and no air con in our room.so it was noisy and hot
N. J.
Fantastic place. Staff are welcoming and the breakfast is lovely. I come back every couple of weeks.
Z. S.
The place is great but if the waiter doesn't pick up the share plate before finished it will be great , as we could have had another bottle with the food left , instead he cut our night short.
C. J.
Very good value. Close to the underground. But its ridiculous that i need to pay 50p in cash for having my bags in a cloakroom. I had to go to a cash point for this reason only.
J. S.
The staff was extremely nice and kind. We were a bit late for breakfast, but were still welcome and taken great care of. Thanks again!
B. R.
An excellent, comfortable, friendly and conveniently situated hotel providing all the facilities necessary for pleasurable stays which we have made a number of times each year for the last 25+years
K. K.
The hotel has a really good location, however the rooms have connecting doors to the room next to it which means that it's quite difficult to sleep when people at the other room are speaking or watching television. It feels like they are at the same room.
P. B.
Reasonable rooms. Basic but clean. Decent enough breakfast with a breakfast including cooked, cereal, cheese and cold cut buffet
S. J. J.
Hard to miss the hotel in the busy street of holborn. The experience will leave you bugging. The nicest person you will come by at the reception will be Evon she will definitely give you a smile.
R. A.
The scrambled eggs are not scrambled but made a solid block. Totally overcooked. The rest is perfect. The room is perfect for one person.
j. d.
The room was very clean. Breakfast very good, a lot to eat. Nice garden.
Good location.
J. P.

Good location for easy access to central London. Basic rooms and comfortable. Nice food selection at breakfast.
L. P.
Friendly staff, good food and great location. Unfortunately it seems the wall are too thin because I spent one night hearing my neighbour eating crisps and moving about all night.
S. R.

G. G.
Great location, nice spacious rooms and lovely restaurant/breakfast room with outdoor dining area.
J. B.
Always stay here. Parking in central London and always friendly to me when I arrive. Small rooms but at the price who cares
A. S.
Lovely garden where you can have drinks and the hotel so has an area in the secret garden where you can meet to have drinks and nibbles with friends.
B. B.
This is the perfect place to stay when visiting London. First class accommodation and great breakfasts.
J. B.
Rooms was very good and very clean. But meal on Thursday evening was poor.
C. R.
Wonderful location, nice room, great breakfast, staff was very nice and helpful.
L. S.
First class food and service we stayed here last year so we would not have returned had we not been highly satisfied.
P. B.
Good location, friendly staff, dated interior but clean and functional. Decent breakfast.
S. H.
Friendly staff, nice breakfast, clean room. Ask for a room on the back to avoid road noise and have a very pretty view!
N. N.
Only stayed due to a conference, all staff were very helpful and the room itself was impeccable
n. f.
Was nice and clean. Staff were nice.
Lifts exceptionally slow. Walls very thin. Quite old fashioned.
B. A.
This is our third visit to the Bedford highly recommend it. Staff very thought full & the hotel is nice & central
C. A.
Great place with good breakfast and friendly staff - best to book online for top deals!
W. B.
5th stay. All we need. Clean rooms. Great bar and terras. Friendly staff.
A. M. (. V. H.
Everyone is very nice, but the rooms have paper thin walls, and uncomfortable and small beds. Overpriced despite the good location
G. N.
Thin walls and lumpy mattresses, and the breakfast was slightly disappointing, but overall it was fine. Good location.
J. M.
Clean room and good food. Let down by not providing decaf tea or coffee at breakfast or provided in the bedroom
I. K.
Lovely garden hidden in central Bloomsbury. Prices are very reasonable and despite the unassuming exterior the bar and restaurant is very nice.
P. E.
Excellent location and 10 minutes walk to Euston station. Good value for a London hotel.
G. W.
Cheap drinks, great garden space for when it's sunny. Have found management rude although other bar staff are nice.
A. O.
Dinner was great, indeed. Start eating already before taking a snapshot. Couldn't wait
D. T.
Just had their food which was affordable and tasty. It also had a nice atmosphere too
m. d.
The hotel is okay but the lack of air conditioner can be painful especially during summer months
R. S.
My wife and daughter stop here all the time. I found this hotel perfect and all the staff nice and helpfull
M. W.
Decent budget+ hotel in a good location. Polite staff, ok rooms.

Affordable hotel in the centre of London. Good service, spacious rooms!
C. O.
Ok for 3 stars, very good brekfast ,15 minute to Oxford street.
K. C.
Great breakfast room, comfortable bedroom but during summer HOT! Not geared for the heat of summer!
