I enjoyed my stay here, room was clean and had a high ceiling, the location is great not far from Paddington Station and Hyde Park. There is quite a noise from the passing underground trains but it was bearable. Kitchen staff were particularly warm and accommodating, decent breakfast.

This is a really good value hotel, with very comfortable rooms and extremely friendly helpful staff. There is a generous breakfast included in the price. The location is within walking distance of Paddington main line and underground stations and there is a bus stop almost on the doorstep or just a few minutes walk to St Mary's Hospital or Edgware Road stops.

My room was small, but clean. View of the Norfolk Square park. Receptionist was friendly, and went above and beyond by helping me carry my suitcase up several flights of stairs. A minute's walk from Paddington Station. If you are spending your days doing tourist things, rather than sitting in a hotel room, this is a very affordable, centrally located hotel.

The location of the hotel is a very big benefit. The staff was always very kind and helpful. Also the breakfast was nice. But you should know about the tube under the hotel, it is quite disturbing. There is also a lot of noise from the reception in the room behind the reception.

We came as a family of 3. Prior to our stay, we had a bad experience in the hotels we had stayed at a few nights before. This hotel is beautiful and clean. It is well kept and is in a decent location. The owners are considerate and go above and beyond. Loved our experience here. Thank you so much! We will be back again in the near future!

room was small as expected for london and clean and great location i stayed in the room behind reception and you could hear water tank filling and the tubes went past on the underground and all night could hear people coming into the hotel and talking loud. im not sure why but all 3 of us were so itchy no bites or anything on us but very itchy either they use bio liquid to wash sheets or feather pillows but the pillows were terrible aswell. get what ya pay for and take antihistamines if you have allergies reception staff really nice people

Easily recommend! Ideal location, comfortable amenities, friendly staff. Walking distance to Hyde Park and the underground. Our room was below street level, but still had light shine through the windows in the staircase corridor near the hotel entrance. Some noise from guests entering the building but quiet street overall. A great fortifying English breakfast for the day’s adventures! Ham, eggs, sausage, beans, toast, tea. We got our fill every morning.

Excellent quality-price ratio. Close to Paddington rail/tube station (3min) and Hyde park (5min). The room was small but clean, maybe needed more attention on finishes. They changed the towels every day. If you stay here you must try their English breakfast! They also provide a free luggage storage service for free (if I remember right just before 2 pm). In general I would recommend it.

Location: great, one block away from the nearest underground train entrance. This area is essentially a budget hotel area, with many other options similar to Belvedere. Therefore you may find the neighborhood full of restaurants and convenient stores. Room: the room is spacious, clean and well maintained. The bath room is newly renovated with modern design. There is soap, but no slippers or shampoo. You do hear the noise when train passes, but it's not that bad, bearable. This is my experience from a room on the second floor. Expect it to be worse when living in basement. Service: just typical budget hotel service. You need to leave your key in the front when you go out. Luggages van be left at the hotel until 2pm free of charge. The breakfast is nice, with 2-3 bacon, 2 tiny sausage s, beans, coffee, juice and bread. There are cereal as well. I would recommend.

Room was clean, bed comfy enough (though mattress too soft) there was a full-length mirror and reading lights over the bed. The whole room shakes every time a train passes underground, even on the second floor (actually thankful for there being no all-night tube service otherwise it would've been impossible to sleep). The rooms are clean and are also cleaned daily. Our bathroom was a plastic container that was installed into the room. I suppose it is fairly easy to clean, and so they were clean every day. Still not the best bathroom. The included English breakfast is fine, but not great. The breakfast room can get crowded and you might have to wait until you find a place at peak time. The Hotel is situated in 2-3 min walking distance to Paddington station which is very good!

The Hotel Belvedere is a nice Hotel very Close to The train Station of Paddington. Its basically around The corner. The staff was very friendly and Helpful during our stay. Every morning WE got english breakfast, which was good. They also served Toast and Hama. Also a variety of corn flakes. The room was small but comfy and refurbished. Also The bath was modernly refurbished and Clean. We would stay Here again.

Perfect location for a short stay in London as it's only a few minutes walk from Paddington so zipping around on the tube is as painless as possible. The single room I stayed in was clean but in need of decorating as chips in the wall and general wear and tear has been left unattended for a while by the looks of it. Bed was comfortable. Lack of toiletries other than a tiny soap bar so make sure to pack your own.

We are very grateful for the help offered by the staff of the hotel. When we were in the hotel for 2 days in early December 2014, I forgot to bring my international driving permit (issued in Australia) with me (for hiring car in Western Europe). We needed to make many calls including long distance ones from London to the car hire company in Paris to enquire about what we could do. After using the public phone booths on the street and phone calling card, we spent almost 5 sterling pounds and an hour with no success. The staff in the hotel was very patient to explain to us the 08- numbers would cost a lot of money. He also let us use the hotel's phone, made calls for us and only charged us minimal cost. We are very impressed and thankful for the staff being so kind and helpful. We would highly recommend the hotel.

(Translated) We stayed in this hotel from 7 to 12 August, we were 5. We had a very spacious room on the first floor (number 5) with 1 double bed and 3 single beds and a small bathroom with shower; in the stairs there is a second bathroom that everyone can use. This was my fifth trip to London, the cleanliness in all the hotels I have stayed in (except hotels above 4 stars) is not the best, this hotel had an acceptable standard of cleanliness. I am of the opinion that those who visit a city do not live the hotel for which this hotel had everything we needed, a place to sleep in a quiet area (Norfolk square-Paddington), quite clean, well connected by various means ( Paddington station 3 minutes walk and bus stop outside the hotel itself). Many complain about the breakfast (complimentary of the hotel), but we have informed ourselves and adapted to what the hotel was proposing: toast with butter and jam, a hot drink, milk and cereals (tea, coffee, chocolate) or english breakfast (eggs, beans, bacon and sausages) and we also bought fruit in nearby supermarkets. They were all very friendly, especially the breakfast staff, the receptionist was behind the counter h24 and always ready to welcome us or give us information; on the last day we checked out before 14:00 and until 14 we were able to leave our suitcases in the reception for free; notice to future customers: after 14:00 to leave luggage at the hotel it costs 5 Pound per bag. Excellent place, located in zone 1 in London (therefore in the center) with a very low price, I recommend to anyone looking for a support with the purpose of visiting the city. The only negative points are: on the lower floors you can hear the metro, for those who have a room on the upper floors it will be tiring to go up (there are no elevators). The hotel overlooks a very nice little park, 10 minutes walk from the hyde park; nearby there are supermarkets, pubs, restaurants of all kinds (Indian, Italian, typical English cuisine, etc. ..), the st. Mary hospital is very close, the area in general is excellent, well cared for and quiet. Ps: you have to bring the shampoo and shower gel because they do not leave a "courtesy set", the towels are changed every day, the hairdryer is in the room, you can ask for the UK adapter at reception or buy it before leaving (not buy it in London which costs a lot) Good luck! Abbiamo avuto una stanza molto spaziosa al primo piano (la numero 5) aveva 1 letto matrimoniale e 3 letti singoli e un bagno piccolo con doccia; nelle scale c'è un secondo bagno che tutti possono utilizzare. Questa è stato il mio quinto viaggio a Londra, la pulizia in tutti gli hotel in cui sono stata (eccetto hotel al di sopra dei 4 stelle) non è il massimo, quest'hotel aveva uno standard di pulizia accettabile. Sono del parere che chi visita una città vive poco l'hotel per cui quest'hotel aveva tutto ciò di cui necessitavamo, un luogo in cui dormire in una zona tranquilla (Norfolk square-Paddington), abbastanza pulito, collegato bene con vari mezzi (Paddington station a 3 minuti a piedi e fermata bus fuori l'hotel stesso). Molti si lamentano della colazione (omaggio dell'hotel), noi invece ci siamo informati e adattati a ciò che ci proponeva l'hotel: toast con burro e marmellata, una bevanda calda, latte e cereali (thè, caffè, cioccolata) oppure la english breakfast (uova, fagioli, bacon e salsicce) e inoltre compravamo nei supermarket vicini la frutta. Sono stati tutti molto cordiali, soprattutto lo staff della colazione, il receptionist era h24 dietro al bancone e sempre pronto ad accoglierci o darci informazioni; l'ultimo giorno abbiamo fatto il checkout prima delle 14:00 e fino alle 14 abbiamo potuto lasciare le valigie nella reception gratuitamente; avviso ai futuri clienti: dopo le 14:00 lasciare i bagagli in hotel Costa 5 Pound a bagaglio. Ottimo luogo, posto nella zona 1 a Londra (quindi in pieno centro) con un prezzo molto basso, consiglio a chiunque cerchi un appoggio con lo scopo di visitare la città. Gli unici punti negativi sono: ai piani bassi si sente la metro, per chi ha la stanza ai piani superiori sarà faticoso salite (non ci sono ascensori). L'hotel affaccia su un piccolo parco molto carino, dista 10 minuti a piedi dall'hyde park; nelle vicinanze ci sono supermercati, pub, ristoranti di ogni tipo (indiano, italiano, cucina tipica inglese ecc..), il st. Mary hospital è vicinissimo, la zona in generale è ottima, ben curata e tranquilla. P.s.: lo shampoo e il bagnoschiuma lo dovete portare voi poiché non lasciano un "set di cortesia", le asciugamani le cambiano tutti i giorni, il phon è nella stanza, l'adattatore uk potete chiederlo in reception o comprarlo prima di partire (non compratelo a Londra che costa parecchio) Buona fortuna!

La nostra camera era situata al quarto piano senza ascensore era un trauma salire le scale ripidissime si deve essere in buona forma fisica. Possibile la ricca colazione inhlese, ma se si vuole solo dolce non c'è mllta scelta solo pane burro e marmellata. Nel complesso un discreto albergo per una visita di 3/4 giorni.
