A. A.Blades gives a feeling of being home away from home. Located at the very heart of London, it allows you connect easily to the most important places in Central London if you are here for a brief assignement. It is a budget accommodation but the services are well worth it. The rooms are clean, beddings very clean as well. The members of staff are extra ordinarily wonderful people. They are ready to help with anything that will make your stay worthwhile. Breakfast is fair enough, internet also available although, it can be unstable sometimes. You can be sure of a good experience when you visit..
T. W.Sanda is wonderful. She and the rest of the crew was very accommodating to my early check-in and made sure that everything was done to make my stay very special and memorable. Sanda even checked me into a room with a lovely balcony!
The breakfasts servings were fresh and consisted of Yogurt, toast, fresh fruit, juices coffee/tea and cereals. It was certainly more than adequate for me. The location is perfect, being just a short walking distance to the Tube. You cannot do better for value than Blades Hotel. I will definitely return here on my next visit!

C. V.The bathroom is small, theirs no elevator but there are rooms on the ground but the reception is on level 1. There's no safe or closet but there are hangers and two coat ranks. The hotel is simple to find, the beds are decently comfortable but a but on the hard side. The feather of having one double bed and two small ones is very nice for traveling with several older kids.

However, the room was exactly as I expected, given the age of the building and the era in which it was built. The service was splendid. I was unable to reach the Blades before my scheduled arrival, and I was informed the doors would be closed before I could arrive. Still, the staff was extremely understanding and made arrangements for me to access a key.
The Blades provided one of the most relaxing and comfortable nights I had during my entire trip. I felt right at home.
You can feel the history of the building and the decor and accents of the building really elevated the richness of my experience.

R. E.I liked this place for being a small place. It has a bed and breakfast feel to it. The ladies that run it are quite pleasant and offer to help with anything they can. The rooms are small but if you are just there to sleep then they are fine. There is no elevator or air conditioning and that did not bother me when I booked this hotel but when I went to London they were having an unusually hot summer with very high humidity so it was hot day and night with no reprieve. We stayed on the top floor which didn't bother me until being so hot and walking to all the tourist attractions all day. It got exhausting after a couple days in after being so hot all the time. They offer a continental breakfast. They are also within walking distance of a good coffee shop and great restaurants and a grocery store. The only real downside is there is already little water pressure at a hotel and this one has a lot of build up on the shower heads. They could use a good scrub or soak in vinegar.

This is a 'listed' (historic) building so no elevator - be prepared for steps (we were on the 3rd floor). Rooms are small but comfortable. If you are a coffee lover, be aware they use freeze-dried coffee; you may prefer one of the many good coffee shops near by.

M. H.I recently stayed for three nights in their ground floor quad room and it was perfect for us. Clean, comfortable, generously supplied with two plump pillows per bed. Breakfast was delicious, location convenient to Pimlico Underground and a large Sainsburys and the White Swan pub nearby. I plan to return there on my next trip. Staff super friendly and helpful.

On the downside, haphazard room design (lack of shelving in the bathroom, a coffee kit out of reach of the nearest plug, etc.). But for this price in London I've seen much, much worse.

R.Warning: no elevator and high stairs, so if you have health issues not allowing you to move using stairs or you have a baby and his/her equipment or you have a lot of heavy bags, it will be a problem. Poor sound isolation. Tiny rooms. However, staff is very helping and friendly, rooms are clean. Central location, easy to catch National Express to the airport. Take a note reception is opened only till 10 PM and don't forget socket adaptors if you have european type of a cable to charge your electronical devices. Hotel has to lend a few of them, but at the time of your need it may be unavailable.

I cannot complain considering location and price. One thing I do want to mention, though: WiFi is quite flaky. It comes and it goes. It definitely needs an overhaul.

Sono andato via dal Blades Hotel qualche giorno fa, dopo una permanenza di sette giorni e porto con me un'accoglienza impeccabile! L'hotel è un piccolo gioiellino, arredato con gusto e un'attenzione prettamente femminili. La saletta dove si fa colazione è un tipico esempio del calore che può infondere una British home. Poi, la musica classica a colazione a mio parere è sinonimo di intelligenza e saper vivere.
Ci si sente a casa subito. Le signore che lo gestiscono dimostrano un garbo che ormai è difficile da trovare. Antonella, in particolare, con la sua affabilità e cortesia, mi ha fatto sentire a mio agio sin dal primo giorno e mi ha anche saputo dare preziosi consigli, pratici e di buon senso, cosa non da poco in una città indifferente e disinteressata come Londra.
