Such a lovely place. The hospitality from Debora and her team was great! They did everything, to feel like home. I can absolutely recommend this cute little hotel. Our room was really clean and the area around was beautiful too

I stayed here once before with my family due to a referral from another hotel. As luck would have it, the hotel I initially called was full. We had such a lovely stay that when I needed to spend the night in London last weekend, I stayed with them again. Before I begin this review, I'd like to say, this is not the hotel to come to if you're planning on staying out most of the night and getting wildly intoxicated. This is a family run hotel on its 3rd generation. The family is extremely friendly, kind, and accommodating. It's really as if you're staying at home while away from home. It's nice and quiet and very safe. As a female traveling alone, safety is extremely important to me. You must ring the bell to be let into the hotel. And I think the doors are locked at 10p. (However, if you need to come in later, you just need to let them know.) They offer a variety in types of rooms varying from bed sizes, numbers of beds in a room, and bathroom accommodations (with sink/with sink & toilet/with sink, toilet, & shower). The rooms I've stayed in had high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, a fireplace, full bathroom, desk, sitting chairs, wardrobe/closet, kettle & coffee, television, and internet access. Also I could not hear my neighbors through the walls, which is always a plus! Although there are areas in the rooms that could use some cosmetic improvements, it was far more important to me to stay in a clean place. You could tell all the bedding was very clean and there was not a speck of dust to be found! Both times I've stayed were in October and the rooms had a heater I could use. Surprisingly, considering the high ceilings, I was quite comfortable with it on only at night on the lowest setting. The Celtic Hotel also offers a delicious English breakfast. I always look forward to the breakfast during my stay! I will end my review with another example of why I love staying here. My most recent stay over the past weekend was because I had an early morning exam in London. As I was walking to the exam, my phone buzzed because I received a message. Although I have an American phone number, I received a message saying good luck on the exam from the Celtic Hotel! I was so surprised and it put a smile on my face as I went to take my exam. It's little things like that and the personal touch you get to experience when you stay there and that means a lot to me and my family.

I booked a local hotel through a big travel company and there was no booking so i was left with 12 & 17 year old daughters in london with nowhere to stay. Luckily we were able to get a room at the Celtic. The staff are friendly, accommadating & went above & beyond to make our stay enjoyable ( even texting us tips afterwards to get to camden!) The rooms are spotless - the breakfast definatley sets you up for the day! Thankyou ladies from a mother who was in much distress you made our weekend x

Went there with a friend to stay for 3 nights. It's a fine place to rest in, with reception open 24 hours and overall welcoming staff. Good selection of breakfast and great rooms status; the staff can refill your water bottles too, and that's an awesome thing. Definitely one of the best places to sleep in London!

Great family owned, boutique hotel. It's not super fancy for the furnishing, but very clean and well thought out. The customer service though is amazing! Went out of their way to be extra accommodating and hospitable. We were going to miss breakfast due to an early flight, so the front desk clerk ordered breakfast sandwiches to be made for us.

Loved the hotel it's very quite, from first glance you wouldn't know it's got 35 bedrooms. Both Lounge are amazing, l had coffee and biscuits which the owner a lovely lady offered me as l was checking out, and was an hour late for breaskfast.l felt like l was in my own beautiful house very comfortable. It's clean and well loved and looked after. 💖👌

AMAZING Staff! Great location! We stayed for one night and the staff was super helpful. The price/quality for the room is good and breakfast is included which is a plus. We will definitely come back!

I have lost count of the times that I have stayed at the Celtic Hotel. The hotel is a family run hotel. I recommend it to everyone I know who is visiting London. The location could not be better. Every other January, a colleague and I bring a group of about 25 students to London for a literature study tour; we always stay at the Celtic. I have stayed at Claridges, the Savoy, and other 5 star hotels in London and around the world. They are definitely much more upscale but they are certainly no cleaner, they do not have better breakfasts, one can end up with an extremely noisy room, and the staff can, at times, be totally indifferent to the needs of the hotel guests. So, although I can stay anywhere I choose when I am in London, I always choose to stay at the Celtic. My next stay will begin January 1st of next year and I am looking forward to it. If you need an elevator or you want to pay for fancy over merely comfortable, then by all means you should book a room at at a fancier hotel. If you plan to be out of your room enjoying London, then give the Celtic serious consideration.

The hotel is lovely, the staff is friendly and kind, and the location is fantastic. The rooms are small though, and it could use a modern makeover, but overall it's value per money is great.

This is a great hotel!! The price per night is one of the lowest out there and even though it is cheap, you still have a clean room with moderately complete facilities. The in room Wi-Fi is nice and stable and the beds are relatively comfortable and clean, like the rest of the room. My only issue is that with the low low price, an in room shower and toilet is not included in the standard smaller rooms. Which for a shower at least, I've had to hunt around the hotel for a shower that has hot water and good pressure(there are always several showers that are great). So overall if I need an inexpensive place to stay for several nights this place is a great choice.

I lived here for two months and I absolutely loved it! Staff was excellent, breakfast was incredible, location was amazing! I loved it. There was construction next door while I was there but I think it's all done now. Ms. Marazzi is an incredible woman! Get to know her!

For what you pay, this may be one of the best deals for a hotel in London. Their booking system is paper and phone call only, there is no Air Conditioning, and their Wi-Fi is spotty... But there is something wonderful about the homey and welcoming vibe. The staff is kind, the included breakfast is adorable, and overall, this is a fantastic place to stay when you visit London "on the cheap".

Very comfortable stay, the staff is kind and helpful. Breakfast is provided and quite delicious with an assortment of choices. The location is not too loud, no large disturbances in the night. And it is close to plenty of affordable restaurants, transportation and walking distance to the west end.

Great stay! for £65 a night, a well worth stay. Bed was large and comfy , had a great nights stay. Doesn't have free wifi, but that's ok as plenty of cafes and pubs do near by. Breakfast was fantastic, full cooked english breakfast in a great dining room. (note: do take ear-plugs if you find your room on the street side)

Good budget hotel ideally placed for the hospitals around Queens Square, tucked behind the Russell Hotel. Cheap and friendly, don't expect more than a room and a bed with a decent breakfast and a warm lounge and you won't be disappointed.

In 2020, I will have been staying with the Marazzis for 30 years (first at St Margarets, then the Celtic). I have never stayed anywhere else when I've come to London. It is my home away from home.

Nice hotel for a quick stay near the centre of London. Very good breakfast, had a very enjoyable stay. I wish it could be more modern, but it is convenient place for a quick stay.

Great family run place central to everything and serving a full-on British breakfast like you rarely see these days. Right around the corner from Russell Square tube station. Plenty of good restaurants nearby.

Very close to King's Cross/St. Pancras railway station, I noticed this first class 5 star hotel.
£200 for one person, one night, without breakfast, seems a lot, but I must say it was certainly worth it:
Room keycard, 2 (!) HD tv's, unlimited free internet access, a bath, room service, small refrigerator, airco, 3 different bath oils, 2 rooms with a couch and double bed, central power activation via the room keycard.
Continental/British power converters can be rented at the desk.
Quiet rooms are on the higher floors.
This is all very nice if one has money to spend.
Please note that about the same services may cost half the price outside London... And about double in Holland (!).
Breakfast 7-11:
Continental: £7.50
English: £13
Checkout at 11.
International (Eurostar) railway and also bus and underground just across the road.

Great family run hotel in Bloomsbury. So welcoming and friendly. Very convenient for the British Museum, Dickens House, Euston station. Great bakery around the corner and a lovely Italian restaurant recommended to us. Great cooked breakfast. Rooms clean and comfy. All in all great location and value for money. I will definitely return.

(Translated) I stayed here for 1 night only before coming home. The room was sober, I found it very good. The service at breakfast is impeccable and the staff smiling and helpful. With one exception, he must have been in a bad mood, the receptionist.

(Translated) The property is of English origin of Italian origin. Breakfast is complete and the rooms are cozy even if the spaces are a bit small. It falls within the London standards but is highly appreciated by the English who move for work. The environment is classic, first half of the 900. I like it very much.

A me piace moltissimo.

(Translated) We just returned from our second holiday in the beautiful London and second time guests of this quaint hotel a short walk from Russell Square Underground station; Located in Bloomsbury, close to the splendid British Museum. Here we feel like home. Intimate sitting in the common area with TV and furnished English are very comfortable and pleasant to spend your free time before or at the back of a tour of the city. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Plentiful and tasty typical English breakfast. The staff welcomes all guests with kindness and professionalism. The price of the rooms very convenient. We will certainly be returning very willingly! We recommend it to both young kids and families with children.

Qui ci sentiamo come a casa.
