My wife and I took advantage of a deal with the London Irish Rugby club and the hotel. We loved it. It was conveniently located to the ground, the staff were superb, especially the young Irish lady Tara, who was new to the hotel and couldn't have been more helpful.
The room was clean, the food was good in the evening and breakfast was plentiful. The place was full of London Irish fans, so it was good fun in the evening too.

Lovely hotel ~ excellent lunch & breakfast. Superb room with attention to all details. We enjoyed our stay very much, however having paid for overnight parking in advance, I was dismayed that when I put the ticket in the machine at exit, nothing happened and I had to use phone to reception to have the barrier opened.
ALSO ~ When people are booking parking space, why don't you inform them that the hotel is within the ULEZ emissions zone!

Lovely spacious room. Very clean and comfortable. Staff helpful. Would certainly recommend and stay again.
The only small inconvenience that the lights in the bathroom were dim and there was no way to alter them.
N. —.
I only ate and used the facilities.
The globe burger was great but a bit wet and falls apart, but it's fresh, the fries were also very good.
The Cola bottles are 200ml (I didn't know they sold them that small) so make sure you have plenty of ice.
The toilet facilities were modern and clean.

Elegant modern hotel with great food and wonderful customer service! Rooms are very spacious for London. Buffett Breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent! All round very good experience and great and attentive staff!

Excellent amenities and convenient location just off the M4. Second time in a month I booked in for business reasons. Very comfortable and clean bedroom with decent shower and bath. The breakfast offering was excellent with a wide range of dishes to choose from. Car parking was £18 for 24 hours- just be careful parking as it is an underground car park with lots of pillars!

I had a very wonderful experience. The room was spacious and the bathroom is spacious and really nice. Very welcoming and professional staff and of course the breakfast was fanstatic! And the room service is great!
My only small issue was the temperature control in the room. I couldn’t get it above 21 degrees Celsius and being from Africa, it was a bit cold! 😁

This is my new favourite hotel in SW. However, they need to change the lighting in the bathrooms in the normal rooms. Bathrooms are very dark (green tiles, old style), not enough lighting!!!They need better light bulbs or change the entire lighting system in the bathrooms. In the deluxe rooms the bathrooms are much better!!!
C. K.
Very friendly and professional staff, room was large and clean. The only minus would be the plugs next to the bed tables are too close to the actual bedside tables, so none of our phone chargers fit.
Overall a pleasant stay. The hotel was quite busy but quiet, so good solid walls. Would stay again

As always hotel was spotlessly clean. Staff friendly polite and professional. Breakfast was delicious and very well organized, prefer the set up to the usual buffet style. Would like to see china mugs back in the room but that's my only criticism. Great value for money and a lovely stay as usual.

Lots good but also a lot that could be better. I wasnt inspired by the Hotel and whilst breakfast was ok, the delivery was poor. E.g single coffee machine in a very busy passageway let to queues and people unable to pass through. Not COVID great!!

Not my first visit and certainly not my last. I do like the Clayton Chiswick it's clean and feels classy, plus the staff are super friendly. Top floor rooms are best as they have showers and a bath. Some top floor suites have the bath in the bedroom, my favourite 😉. The restaurant serves a great tasty menu and there is a late night bar. Parking is available but at a cost. As quoted on the Clayton website there is charging for electric cars however, the parking is on street - as I write this our car has been broken into, apparently there is a group of lads targeting hybrids whilst the cars are charging (did you know the alarm doesn't come on when a hybrid is charging!). Anyway... Lovely hotel, wheel chair friendly but don't park your car on street use their garage.

I would highly recommend staying at the Clayton Hotel in Chiswick. I stayed here three nights last week and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel decor was modern and tasteful and the English breakfast was delicious. The staff were all very friendly and professional. It is an easy train journey into the centre of London. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit. The only thing I would suggest is also offering the premium TV channels for the deluxe rooms too.

This has now become our London Hotel of choice, it's clean tidy and comfortable, the staff are friendly and attentive and do what they can to fulfill your requests. The food served in the restaurant is of excellent quality. The rooms are quiet, comfortable, well fitted and well maintained and of a good sixes. Parking is a bonus, whilst secure parking is a double bonus.
It is conveniently located close to the M 4 and larger motorway network. Due to the nearby transport network, buses, under and over ground trains it is possible to attend major sporting events locally as well as travel all of the facilities of inner London.

Really good experience staying here..very helpful team /staff all round, polite and well trained..good clean room . Parking available too. Easy to find too. Very good grub/ breakfast..
D. G.
Easy to get to from M5 or Airport. Rooms are well presented. Beds are comfortable. Our room on the ground floor was quiet. Breakfast was a decent standard. £18 a day for parking. The staff are helpful. What's not to like?
L. G.
Amazing and super helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely clean hotel and easy access to Chiswick, Richmond, Kew, London. Excellent value for money. Fabulous breakfast. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend
C. S.
Finally - a very well managed Hotel with properly trained staff throughout. I believe that there is also a review on Google I posted via the Hotel survey.
Therefore an excellent choice for our needs.

Very enjoyably visit on Sat 2/10/21 for the London GAA 125 yr, dinner & dance. The food was very good, Mary Rose & her Band provided excellent entertainment, the Catering Manager & staff were very professional, polite & helpful. The young Irish dancers were outstanding. Last but not least, a big thanks to all the people that braved the worst weather we had all year.
S. H.
Stayed alone for 1 night only for business. Parking was easy, front of house extremely professional, polite and friendly. Rooms great - large bed and large bath towels! Good location for Chiswick centre - all within a pleasant walking distance. Will definitely stay again.

Spent a lovely evening here with the wife. Lovely room, all was clean. The bar was lively on a Saturday the breakfast on a Sunday morning was more than pleasant
J. A.
Loved this hotel, within easy walking distance from the station. Beautiful room, lovely breakfast, staff very friendly and polite. We will be staying here again.
D. E.
Great hotel, limited but ample parking. A great sleep. On-site gym, limited equipment but catered for my needs.
Great service. Lovely breakfast also.
K. C.
We stayed for two nights in order to visit Kew Gardens and the location was perfect, just a few minutes from the underground at Gunnersbury and near enough to walk back to the hotel at the end of the day. Our room was spacious and being on the sixth floor with huge windows gave us a lovely view. Breakfasts were very good and we ate in the Globe bar one evening and had a delicious meal. Service throughout the hotel was very good. All in all an excellent experience and we would highly recommend the hotel to others.
J. G.
The hotel staff at this hotel are superb and could not do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. I would very recommend this hotel to others and would stop here again. The reception lady was who stood out for us (sorry I forget her name begins with L).
Á. S. M.
My mum, dad and myself stayed for some days in this hotel, as my sister was getting married. The rooms are lovely, with all the amenities one would expect or need and they look great and are very comfortable. The hotel is well located, being literally a two minute walk away from the station and well connected with buses. Commuting to the centre of London really was no issue at all (and we did a lot of commuting daily, as we were did a lot of sightseeing). Besides this, there are plenty of small food shops and restaurants very much nearby, as well as some supermarkets. Even if you would not feel like going to the centre of London, the hotel is still in an outstanding location, as Kew Gardens and Richmond Park are just around the corner. Focusing more on the actual features of the hotel, I cannot commend the staff enough. The breakfast and the breakfast staff were superb. The reception team were responsive, attentive, kind, efficient and professional. I would like to give a special mention to Alexandra from the reception team, Lizelle from the breakfast team and Amit from management. Thank you guys - our stay was great on a very important occasion, which made it all extra special! We will be staying again.
K. K.
I didnt stay at the Clayton but attended a large wedding.
The hotel was clean in the parts that I went to. The foyer and reception area were open, and reception staff were quick to help me find where I was going.
Unfortunately staff serving the wedding were less helpful, in fact they were dreadful. Nobody knew what dishes were vegetarian or vegan, and in fact lied, telling me that one dish was vegetable when they were meat. I'm disgusted and offended.
I watched one female member of the team push past one of the dancing guests, and looked sour the whole time.
I won't be recommending this place to my family visiting next year
D. K.
around £75 a night for a weekday, and friendly staff. Nice rooms although some of the power sockets are a little tight for bigger plugs. Eaten twice in the restaurant which was nice , and there is free parking outside, between 6pm and 9am.
V. s.
Excellent location and very nice room with a huge beautiful bathroom. The only downside is that the parking is not free
S. “. W.
Superb room size and service was excellent and welcoming. Not much more to say other than stayed here twice so far and will be again in month or so…
M. C.
Room good.
Major issue with the Kettle.
It leaked - as a consequence it caused a circuit breaker to trip. Reported to reception in the morning - nothing done.
Had to return to reception to get the breaker reset. Asked for a replacement kettle - got another (though it also leaked - and would not automatically turn off) - borderline dangerous.
M. M.
Room was immaculately clean. Very comfortable.
Complimentary drink making facilities and bathroom products.
Super choice for breakfast with staff that serve at the table.
Checking in and out was managed smoothly and in control during Covid 19 restrictions and government guidance. Proactively and politely dealing with non compliant guests offering masks and sanitiser available in multiple work stations.
Parking available on site under ground and above ground monitoring under security cameras.
C. F.
Lovely hotel with secure parking and a short walk to the underground station. Very clean, comfortable beds and a fantastic breakfast. Will definitely return!

Really nice hotel. Lovely rooms, clean and right opposite tube stop. Value for money
A.
Very good hotel. Excellent service. People very helpful.
J. R.
Lovely hotel. Very spacious room and bathroom. Great location near Kew Gardens. Would recommend.
J. A.
As expected my stay here was fantastic, service was impeccable and every staff member makes you feel welcome and they are very subservient. All this aside, the Hotel itself and the room were very nice indeed.
Would definitely use again!
S. p.
Excellent.hotel, has secure parking. Rooms are super comfy
Restaurant has good menu range
J. B.
Amazing, friendly, welcoming staff.
Hotel beautiful and very clean.
Very very comfortable bed and pillows, room felt like luxury.
Food was beautiful.... happily stay again if I'm in the area. Thank you
N. E.
Fantastic service, facilities and location, however what really made it extra special for us was the customer service. The Indian lady upon arrival was extremely helpful, professional and friendly. The blonde vegan lady who handled pur issues regarding breakfast went above and beyond to resolve our issue, extremely empathetic and understanding.
We were travelling for work with a medium- large van, car parking was very easy and easy to access, all local amenities were also very easy to access, bus stop right outside the how.
I would 100% recommend this hotel and will be recommending to friends and family.
Thank you to the staff who's service made our stay fabulous!
A. P.
We stay at the Clayton often due to family living really close. It is always clean and the breakfast is always good. But we stayed Friday night last week, and then again Monday having been away for the weekend. We paid twenty pounds more for the monday night, exactly the same room which seemed a lot more. Also I went to the wrong part of the desk on arriving, and was spoken to like a naughty child. Not what I would have expected for a professional hotel. Also we had no water in our room which seemed unusual for a good hotel. I felt a little dissatisfied with the service . Which is a shame.
K. K.
Great hotel, very clean, Great breakfast, beautiful soft beds would definitely come again.
G. D.
We stayed at this hotel as we were moving to our new home. Despite all the limitations and challenges that Covid has imposed, the hotel staff were fantastic and catered to our every need. The hotel is clean, warm and we were made to feel at home. Considering all the challenges, the staff did their best for all guests. Thank you and well done A+++
F. S.
We had great fun at the hotel. Clean, comfortable and friendly environment.
S. D.
The hotel is in a great location with a bus stop outside, 2 minute walk to the underground, and 10 minute walk to the shops, cafes and restaurants in Chiswick High Street. The hotel is clean and tidy, has a well stocked bar with an excellent range of draught beers. The staff are so friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The breakfast is quality and has a lot of choice. We will definitely be staying at the Clayton Chiswick in the future.
B. P.
Lovely room, clean, great breakfast, nice service, I really wanna come back.
J. G.
Some issues over staffing at breakfast on 22 / 5/ 21 resulting in very long wait for orders being taken and delivery of breakfast. Staff were most apologetic for this on each of the following mornings and no other issues were encountered. Room was faultless. Lovely stay. Thankyou.
S. M.
Brilliant hotel. Asked for a quiet room and got a quiet room. Staff very courteous. Parking in the underground facilities very easy and no fuss.
If you are looking for somewhere to stay on business (and hopefully pleasure once things get a little back to normal) this is the place to stay
M. P.
Everything, from receptionist to housekeeping was faultless.
The breakfasts are terrific. I had eggs Benedict which were done very well indeed.
The staff are fantastic! Super speedy and incredibly friendly and smiley .
J. M.
Fab hotel & lovely breakfast. It's one of our faves that we visit regularly 🤩
D. C.
We visited Family in the local area and we booked a 2 day stay. The Hotel and staff were excellent the rooms and service were equally as good. We will definitely book this hotel again.
D. L.
Liked our stay, good quality 4 star. Shown room on ground floor, very claustrophobic so asked for a change. Sixth floor room was good.
C. H.
I thoroughly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again when I am in London.
I booked the hotel because I needed easy access to the M4 but it offers so much more..... the underground is literally a 2 minute walk away, there are plenty of parks/ open spaces near by and the amenities of Chiswick. The hotel's decor is very stylish and this carries in into the rooms but the main stand out feature was the excellent customer service - Lina Ambruleviciute greeted me at check in, was very welcoming, friendly, informative and very professional. It came across that she really enjoyed her work, that nothing would be too much trouble.
Definitely, I will stay here again.
L. T.
Clean, Friendly staff, room was spacious, parking was so convenient - highly recommended
B. S.
Well, 2nd time visiting Clayton Chiswick, won't be our last - infact just booked for November! Totally impressed - we were impressed the first time, but 2nd time even more so, if not more. We did take advantage of an email offer that come through and it was including breakfast. We were amazed by the choice and how nothing was of any hassle to your staff. Tom & Sagar were friendly, helpful and so kind to us, they both really went over and beyond to be welcoming and helpful. Not to say that any of your other staff were not, everyone was so polite and friendly and couldn't do enough. In these tough times, your hotel has come through with flying colours and hence why we will be back!
K. J.
What a Gem of a hotel staff, room, facilities, food all of a very high standard would definitely stay again and recommend.
M. G.
Always professional and friendly. Many stays through my work and I have found the Key worker status very safe and organised. Looking forward to the Bar opening and having to stay away a more sociable experience but happy to stay safe and be patient. Roll on normal. Great team in a fluid situation.
J. B.
Had fabulous time at the weekend with my families at your hotel. The room is very roomy, clean with perfect coffee machine. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfast were just fantastic. Lots of sitting area for distancing everywhere. Will highly recommending.
M. B.
This is a very good hotel. Great location if you are driving to London. Everything was immaculate and the service was excellent. They managed very well with the C19 interruption safety measures. I would recommend you stay here.
M. R.
Love the place.
It's
GREAT.
Smells gorgeous.
Lovely staff too.
Well DONE.
A.
Staff did their absolute best to rectify problems with the room we had been given which had stains in the carpet, burnt desk top, stained walls and unclean tap. I presume they must have been unaware due to the shock they portrayed. They were quick to decide on an upgrade - the room was the best in the hotel, absolutely beautiful and spotless! In the meantime while we waited for the room to be made up the lovely receptionist offered us both a complementary drink. This experience really goes to show the extent the staff are willing to go to in order to achieve customer satisfaction. Bravo Clayton Hotel, you really did ensure a great experience 👏🏼
A. K.
Amazing hotel to stay in. Irina the receptionist was such a beautiful lady to help assist my partner for my surprise birthday with flowers in our room in August. She really went the extra mile and always was so jolly and supportive. We also were surprised with a dessert for dinner and every staff member were just so helpful and pleasant. I would recommend this hotel for all as everything is perfect and we cannot wait to be back again. Thank you to the Clayton team!
C. R.
Very nice solid hotel with easy access to the London underground. Room was comfortable and hotel staff accommodating.
N. R.
The hotel was well organised to meet current COVID 19 restrictions and the staff were all diligent in meeting these. The online service portal looked good but when I tried to order more coffee the system did not work as promised, fortunately this was addressed when the room was cleaned.
The room was clean and comfortable and nicely fitted out. It was a very satisfactory stay and I would consider this branch in the future.
e. p.
We had a great time and the room was nice and clean and all the staff was nice. I usually find most hotel rooms not very clean but this really was spotless. Nice and spacious bathroom also. Our only minus was that there wasn’t a buffet for the breakfast but we know this is due to corona regulations. We hope we can come back another time when things are back to normal.
M. P.
Excellent customer service. Staff went out of their way to facilitate us during a big event. Thank you.
A. A.
Very impressive hotel, very clean and immaculate. Exactly what a hotel should look like. As soon you go in your are met with a sweet smell and greeted with a smile. The furniture, floors all look pristine. I would definitely recommend to anyone coming to London
T. B.
The Breakfast Service/Experiance was the best we've had for many a year regardless of the pandemic.
Can't speak highly enough.
R. D.
Superb rooms, very clean with COVID clearly a top priority here. Bed one of the best we have slept in and the spec of the room was very high. All the team members, from the receptionist to the waiters to the cleaning ladies on our floor were friendly and professional, nothing was too much trouble. We will be visiting west London a lot over the next few years and this will now be our only hotel choice. The only small suggestion I would make is to have more gluten free and vegan choices on the breakfast menu but even then the lady who served us said if we let the front desk know the night before they would get in GF sausages. Thank you for a wonderful stay
A. S.
We really enjoyed our stay; the room was very good and the poached eggs at breakfast were perfectly cooked. The service was very friendly and helpful.
Please note that there is a leak in the outflow from the basin in room 627.
j. h.
We were very happy with our stay, clean, large and comfortable room. Staff were friendly and polite. A problem in the bathroom was quickly resolved. Happy to stay there again.
P. L.
We've stayed at the Chiswick Clayton on 4 occasions over the last two years. We find the Hotel to be quiet, comfortable and relaxing. We enjoy the great breakfast and make use of the car parking which is a real bonus. During our latest four day stay in May/June 2021 we found the Hotel to be Covid secure which was very reassuring. I would like to make special mention of the restaurant team, in particular SAGAR and GEVEENA who served at our table. They could not have been more attentive, friendly and helpful, it made the breakfast experience a real pleasure. One minor issue concerned the room we stayed in, number 715, this was a little noisy as next to the lift and rather warm as the aircon was set at 18 degrees. The staff from reception to cleaning team were all helpful and friendly. We will be back!
D. G.
Good place to drink for away fans pre Brentford. Only open to guests after the match though.
B. M.
A brilliant hotel with a great team, we were very impressed with the service and welcome. The quality of the food was excellent and well priced. The room was excellent and very comfortable.
Thank you for the great stay.
E. N.
Had a lovely time at the hotel. Luxurious room and enjoyed the Breakfast and Dinner there. Friendly staff too 👍.
D. P.
Beautiful hotel, massive room and the food and staff were brilliant 👏
G. L.
Food was absolutely amazing, staff very helpful and friendly, room very clean and cosy. Lovely hotel and best food by far! Definitely be visiting again..
D. T.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was immaculately clean and very comfortable bed! Bathroom was incredibly spacious and a good shower.
Only bad point we wanted a pint when we finished work at 2.30am. The receptionist said we had to order it though room service so had to pay an extra £4 for it to be brought to the room.
Other than that amazing hotel! Would gladly stay here again!
C. H.
I had a lovely relaxing time at the hotel. The room was comfortable and I felt safe with plenty of space and hand sanitizer stations throughout the hotel. This was an ideal base for sightseeing in Kew Gardens and Hampton Court Palace.
D.
Great location and a really lovely hotel. The reception staff were rude and very uninterested, there was a small queue and every person was treated as an inconvenience. The rooms are really nice. We stayed in the King Suite so was big with an amazing bathroom. Breakfast was really good but for the size of the hotel and the number of guest, the buffet area was very small and made it feel like a dining hall due to the length of the queue. Overall a nice stay but was let down by the receptionist.
B. M.
A great place to stay close to services and affordable compared to central London.
R. S.
The hotel was beautiful, friendly and classy. The staff were really, really helpful, polite and professional. A special mention to Deborah Barnes who is a class act! So helpful, supportive and professional. I'll be back! Thank you.
R. W.
Stayed for 2 nights, staff were very friendly and attentive! Hotel was clean and inviting - room was particularly nice, spacious, and very comfortable bed. Service was very good, food lovely - all in all, couldn't have wished for anything more - perhaps a few more extra nights to enjoy :)
thanks
M. A.
Striving to cope under COVID restrictions, they managed wonderfully. Largely due to their limitless warmth and constant commitment to help, whatever the problem or request. Impeccable service at the delicious breakfasts. Hotels are never home, but everyone strove to make you feel at home, especially in Reception. Thank you so much.
D. H.
My wife and I spent a few days here over the new year. The service from the staff was excellent throughout our stay and nothing was a bother to them. The public areas of the hotel are immaculate, comfortable and well maintained and the breakfast was faultless in quality, selection and service. The issues came in the room. The mattress sheets did not fit the twin bed mattresses and we had to continually adjust and refit then as the worked loose. The air-condition/heating seemed to have been present and locked as we could never get it warm enough even when increasing the temp on the controller. There was also no heating at all in the bathroom which made stepping out of the shower unpleasant. The shower pressure was just barely adequate an it also made intermittent loud noises when on. The WC is a very strange design and uncomfortable to sit on and a good example of form over function design. Th room layout and shape were also a bit awkward and made it not great for sitting in the chairs to watch the tv and we ended up sitting watching on the beds which is not very comfortable. Surrounding area is great with a good selection of cafes, bars, shops and restaurants close by. Easy transport links via nearby train station and buses on high road outside hotel.
S. D.
Convenient location, value for money, on site parking and very helpful staff throughout. Highly recommended.
K. B.
Absolutely excellent hotel. It's great value for money, the hotel itself is gorgeous and the service is second to none, really couldn't ask for more!
C. B.
I stayed for a week as part of a group tour and really enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a bathtub and shower option as well as a long mirror that could be angled different ways which was helpful. The restaurant was top rate. We received breakfast every morning and a meal every night as part of our package, and every meal the entire week was delicious. I am gluten free and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I had gluten free options each night. They often prepared special sauces just for me without wheat. I've never had so many fantastic gluten free meals.
M. S.
Fantastic stay at the Clayton. Great comfortable accommodation and the breakfast was really nice. Staff were excellent. Will be back for sure
P. W.
This was our second stay at this hotel and we were really impressed by the standard of accommodation. We liked the underground parking, the restaurant and bar were also very good with really friendly staff. We will stay there again.
K. L.
Lady on reception very polite and helpful, room very comfortable and clean. Breakfast served well with social distancing and table service.. Well placed for Kew gardens would definitely stay again if visiting London and surrounding area
R. B.
Stayed there for a birthday weekend with my girlfriend and had a fantastic time! The room was comfortable and spacious and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely with something for everyone and the hotel is close to a lot of restaurants and pubs as well as public transport to get around. Underground and overground is just a 5 min walk to the hotel with trains taking you to Piccadilly circus in under 30 min. Will stay again!
e. j.
The bed spreads were old had stains and rips in them. There was peeling paint on the ceiling of the room.
The pull out couch for the children was not made up when we arrived ( or at least linen provided ) and wasn’t big enough quilt for two small
People sharing.
The room however was clean and comfortable.
The front reception staff were not very friendly however the breakfast staff went over and above to make sure we had what we needed for our vegan requests. This women remembered us from our last trip and was exceptional in her services. The cleaning/ house keeping staff were also all very friendly and helpful.
S. N.
Even the smell of the hotel smells clean and inviting when you walk in. Great room, I was upgraded, really nice room, very clean and relaxing. Evening Food was excellent and breakfast was good to. It was above average that is for sure. Will be back soon.
E. p.
We had a great stay here, got upgraded for free to executive room, which was lovely. Room was very clean. Gorgeous hotel. We forgot a gift voucher we wanted to use to pay for our stay but the managers on duty sorted it out with no problems, very friendly staff. Couldn’t have asked for more!
We didn’t try food there as we only stayed one night but it looked nice!
D. R.
The hotel has recently been refurbished and looks great. The bar area very comfortable and a good range of drinks. The food in the restaurant was somewhat disappointing to say the least. The wild boar terrine was delicious and plentiful, however the fish & chips were awful. Soggy chips, minimal amount of overcooked fish in gloopy batter which was disappointing to say the least.
Shower fantastic and a big comfortable bed.
J. C.
an extremely enjoyable experience with superb staff and service. will be staying at the clayton again
cannot fault this hotel.
breakfast was excellent, cleanliness of room and hotel impeccable
ease of access to local amenities couldnt be better.
it was also a special occasion stay for me and i was upgraged and given complimentary bottle of bubbles which was a very lovely gesture.
i will recommend to my friends to use this gem of a hotel
E. W.
Excellent hotel. The air conditioning needed work carried out the room was cold when we arrived and took hours to warm up. The receptionist dealt with this immediately and an electric heater was placed in the room. The next day another guest was complaining at reception about their air conditioning.
The bath taps were not suitable for the size of the bath. It was left running for an hour before there was enough water for a decent bath. Overall though we were very pleased with our stay and will definitely return
T. B.
Checked in on-line before arrival meant very swift registration process. Room was quiet (626) and breakfast was plentiful and normal fruit/cooked/pastries. Staff friendly and attentive. Able to leave bags for several hours whilst went out. Overall a pleasant stay, did what it ‘said on the tin’. Thank you
P. N.
Had a lovely stay, the hotel was very clean and felt really safe. We were even upgraded at no extra cost. Would highly recommend
A. A.
We stayed here for our anniversary weekend and we were absolutely spoiled! Our room was full of rose petals and we were given complimentary drinks, even complimentary parking which was so unexpected and massively appreciated! As I am due to have an operation soon it was so lovely to be able to make the most of this time with my partner. All the staff here made our weekend wonderful, and there are no words to explain just how thankful we were for it all. We’ve stayed here before and will definitely be staying again. Thank you Clayton hotel ❤️
E. L.
Loved staying in your hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful. We did however, find our room to be a little lack lustre in the cleaning and preparations, we had no bin bag in our bin (although, didn't complain since we had one spare ourselves and used that), there was toothpaste on our tap, and the mirrors weren't clean, and there were a few red (almost like blood) marks on the shower and bath.
We cleaned the room for ourselves before starting our stay comfortably.
The wifi was fast which was great!
The breakfast was lovely and tasty and the staff were fast to deliver tea to us, which was fantastic. They also helped us to make sure allergens were understood (we are nut allergy sufferers) and even offered to cook separate food for us which was comforting.
We found it very confusing and stressful that when checking in to our room, the staff explained that we'd have £250 as security if we decided to have breakfast, although it was not agreed that the money would actually be taken from my account before staying the full 2 nights. Which is was, it was taken it of my account 2 nights prior to checking out. We ended up not using the £250 they had set aside, and now have to wait for the refund of £31 that wasn't spent on breakfast or drinks.
I would have rather they just have given us our breakfast tokens without the "security" of the extra £55 taken from my account, and just added the total to the end of the stay when checking out. It left me feeling stressed that I had double paid, and also now I'm uncomfortable with the £31 that I hope to get back soon. I've never had to pay extra upfront before checking out, and I hope not to have to again in the future.
Thanks for the pleasant stay and a safe home on our holiday.

Decent hotel, cheap price and pleasant. Great for a last minute hotel need.
J. W.
... only had a few drinks in the bar area. However, excellent friendly and efficient service and covid 19 safe. Highly recommended 😊 Best, John Williams @JWfit 🇬🇧

Room was comfortable but the service is not brilliant. The website promised a 'fast track' lane for those who checked in online, but after having done so we were made to queue with everyone else and then took at least twenty minutes having ID checks from a very suspicious receptionist, who didn't seem to believe I had made the booking! The room service prices are extortionate even without the additional £4 of a 'tray fee' mentioned in tiny font at the back of the menu, which meant that we had to pay £18 for a small margherita pizza. Won't be making that mistake again.
L. G.
Had a two night stay here and was very pleasantly surprised by how friendly and attentive the staff where, nothing was too much to ask for, the room was sumptuous and the bathroom had a walk in shower and separate bathtub! Transport, pubs and restaurants at your doorstep! Breakfast was tasty and plentiful with lots of dietary options. Absolutely booking in to this hotel again when I come up to London
K. H.
Welcoming staff, attentive and able to answer all my questions. High quality room and big breakfast spread. My room service was super quick (would have liked the curry to be a bit tastier!) and apart from overdone scrambled eggs at breakfast I can't fault this hotel. Even the car park is reasonably priced and easy to use for London. I was away with work but felt like holiday for a night!
K. F.
Very nice hotel, friendly staff, excellent breakfast and very spacious room.
The only slight downside was when booking the room description stated bathrobes and slippers however there were none in our room. Also there were no replacement coffee pods on the second day of our stay.
Very minor points in what was a very nice stay at a lovely hotel.
We would certainly stay here again and recommend to friends visiting the area
Thank you to all the staff particularly the bar staff how arranged some food for us late at night, that was very much appreciated
L. c.
Great Christmas day, food, room, parking, staff, all amazing.
K. O. S.
A lovely hotel in a quiet area close to the station for tube and district line. Very pleasant staff and the bed was very comfortable in a very nice room. Two small things, no hand soap for the first night and no bath mat. There was a bath towel to stand on after you got out of the bath but this was not replaced with the fresh towels. As the shower was in the bath a bath mat is an important safety item it’s so easy to slip getting in and out of a bath, however these are very small fixable things and overall a very enjoyable stay, a great hotel to explore London from, and I would definitely stay again and recommend it to others
J. P.
Rooms and bed very comfortable. Added bonus to have iron and board in room as well as a proper (not push button) hairdryer which you could plug in near to a mirror. Two mirrors in room - one full length and a fabulous lit mirror in bathroom, perfect for applying make-up. Great nespresso machine... could have had a couple more coffee capsules as we don't drink decaf - so only 3 capsules for the two of us.
The main bar was very busy ... could have done with waitress service. We did however find another very unbusy bar downstairs, so used that instead. We didn't have breakfast as was a bit pricey when I only wanted some fruit.
L. D.
The hotel is very modern clean and fresh we managed to get a very reasonable weekend stay in an executive suite. It is not the first time we have stayed and certainly won't be the last. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the hotel goes beyond its 4 star rating to satisfy you. The food is fantastic very fresh and a good menu composition overall for the evening meal and throughout the day. Me personally I have never been a fan of breakfast buffets and avoid them as much as possible so I cannot comment. Overall fantastic stay fantastic hotel and a great location.
H. M. H. B.
Currently lying in a lovely comfy bed in a lovely luxurious room with my woman as we come close to the end of our perfect weekend at this wonderful hotel
The staff have been so friendly, welcoming and professional during our stay
Thank you for making our time here so special. My future wife had a great experience in your hotel on her birthday weekend. We will return
R. T.
This hotel has a great breakfast for a reasonable price. When my parents or in-laws are in town they always stay here and we join them for breakfast.
The rooms range from cozy to flashy modern and seem to be very clean. Everyone seems to agree that the beds are great to sleep in.
l. c.
We chose the hotel for our Company Christmas Dinner on the back of their customer service award at the Hounslow Business Awards. We were not disappointed. Food was very good and staff were very attentive. Although the Restaurant was full they accommodated us in an adjacent area which everyone thought worked very well. We would certainly return to the Clayton for future events.
S. L.
Lovely, if expensive, hotel. Nice, efficient staff. Loses one star as one has to pay extra at breakfast if a latte, cappuchino etc, is wanted. What is wrong with putting a self service coffee machine in the breakfast room? Also, there is one hell of a trek down a long, featureless corridor, if you're unlucky enough to get room 1125!! How do disabled folk cope!!??
H. M. P.
We really enjoyed our overnight stay. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.. It was very convenient to stay for going to Kew Gardens.
S. A.
The hotel is clean and nice overall. Accurate and comfortable rooms. Very friendly staff. Breakfast is not so good, little choice and quality of food during the breakfast is not great. I have not tried food for room service.
A. A.
Lovely hotel with friendly happy staff. Room was big, bathroom large too, clean and airy. Well provided with tea/coffee/biscuits/shower gel/shampoo etc.
Staff were all responsive and positive from checking in, dinner, breakfast, checking out and general queries.
Corridors were clean and light. Restaurant was lovely and light, where we had a large round table with comfy curved seating. Evening meal was tasty, served by a chirpy, happy waiter. Breakfast had every choice you could think of plus lots of newspapers available.
Hotel location very convenient for tube and buses and easy to walk to Kew gardens.
H. F.
A nice location with allure. Came in rather early, but the receptionist was very nice and flexible. She offered a couple of possibilities. In the end, as you can see, I got a very nice room.
Their food is also quite nice. Good change from the average hotel.
Definitely, recommended.
R. B.
Well appointed and modern hotel, large bed in a spacious room: everything worked well. Impressive breakfast served by an unusually large number of somewhat inexperienced waiters (didn't get our poached eggs!). Unusually well maintained and cooled fitness room. Immediate area could be better supplied with restaurants but no shortage of good pubs. Another receptionist on the desk at busy periods could be useful
e. p.
Such a fabulous stay. Great location, Great staff, Great facilities. This hotel has ample amount of space, Cafe is having great outside spaces to sit and relax. Good for Executive meetings, professional work, or family stay. Chiswick is itself a great location in West London. All the best and keep up the flow. Thanks.
V. H.
Room 425 lovely room - double and single bed so plenty of space. The room was a disabled room which was strange as the shower was over the bath and no disabled person would realistically be able to use it.
That said, the shower and bathroom were very outdated compared to the rest of the hotel. This one thing really let the side down. Shower curtain and black mould around the tap and a shower head that had a life of its own going on were really unexpected given the quality of the foyer area and the room itself.
The staff were so friendly and accommodating.
Car park excellent and easy to Uber into Central London from this location.
Get the bathrooms refurbished and you would have 5* all the way.
A. d. A.
Lovely welcome off the lady on reception, hotel was spotless and the Rooms where really nice spotless as well even more important in these times we stayed here for business but would definitely stay again if in the area as it’s so close to central London as well , room service and breakfast both fantastic can’t fault at all
B. D.
We're yanks and vacationed here in July of 2017. Really enjoyed the hotel and the neighborhood which is very convenient to the Tube and other public transport (e.g., bus/taxi). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room we had was very large (two bedroom) and reasonably priced (especially given Wimbledon was going on that week). Just a quick walk from a bunch of good pubs, including our fav, The City Barge. If we're ever back "over there" we'll certainly consider this hotel again. My only complaint was that it was quite a hot summer and the air conditioning wasn't up to snuff but I know that Americans are spoiled that way.
G. A. F.
The hotel's room was big, clean and tidy.
The location is near the underground station and close to everything...
The staff was great. I left my begs at their storage and went to a trip outside the city...then picked it up after two weeks. Staying was safe and comfortable.
Irina from the hotel management team was lovely! Thanks for your help!
A. S.
Met here for work meeting - slow and careless service in the lobby.
D. E.
Lovely hotel, good bed, pleasant staff. Dropped one star because for a 5 star hotel I would have expected biscuits in the welcome pack also no loo brush, lead on kettle too short tissue box empty but a pretty arranged tissue disguising the fact
M. D.
A wonderful, modern, hip hotel. Lovely large room and bathroom - separate bath and separate shower.
Only gripe was the bad service we received when eating in the bar. I did have to send back my meal because it was not what I ordered but that can happen anywhere. Nobody came to take our plates away until we had put them on the table next to us, something like an hour after we had finished (hotel bar was not busy). We go to the bar to ask for more drinks and to see the desert menu - a very long time after we had finished our main course. Maybe because we had prepaid?
Apart from the service I would thoroughly recommend the hotel. Staff were friendly.
E. A.
We stayed for 2 nights at this wonderful hotel. Staff are amazingly friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The room and bathroom were gorgeous and the bed was so comfortable. The bar was warm and friendly and surprisingly better value than the local bars we visited and bar snacks were really delicious especially the nachos!. Breakfast was good so much to choose from. It's in an ideal place, bus stop outside taking you either into London or cross the road and catch the bus to Richmond. We'd definitely stay again.
d. w.
Excellent friendly staff in a pleasant hotel, where you can relax or get out and around London on the convenient local tube station(Gunnersby) just down the road.
C. W.
Nice hotel in a good location, tube 60 yards away. Staff were really helpful and the food at breakfast was plentyful and of a good standard. Room was clean and quiet, unlike some of the visitors but the hotel cannot help that. Small but well equiped fitness room. Will stay again
T. B.
Great hotel, will 100% stay again 👌
C. F.
Great hotel value for money.
Friendly staff. Easy access from motorway.
j. D.
We asked for a quiet room and we got one. The room exceeded our expectations in size and facilities. It was so quiet we overslept each morning. The breakfast was extraordinary in freshness and range. It was so calm, and no pressure to be quick or only have a small breakfast. The baskets of bread were carried out with pride. It just felt like a wonderful experience. Our room was spotlessly clean. Every single member of staff was calm, relaxed but attentive, humble and kind. They all were aware and alert, listening and remembered even what we had drunk at the bar the night before. They made us feel welcome and they were not stuffy or hurried. It was the staff that were spectacular and that is no exaggeration. The were either chosen by someone with great interview skills and or trained by someone who just knows. I am in my 50's,, we have stayed in hotels all over the world but this was a slice of heaven. It was the best stay we have ever had. The staff deserve to know how good they were.Thank you for having us is what I feel like saying !
J. L.
Brilliantly run hotel with reasonable rates. Food excellent and the breakfast a real pleasure with such a varied range to choose from. Again friendly staff and nothing is a problem. Very clean in all areas, comfortable rooms & lovely friendly staff. Great accessible parking right by hotel with fantastic easy access lifts to all floors
So pleased I picked Clayton Hotel for our 2 day visit AND they upgraded our accommodation!
L. O.
Checked in when landed around 6am and night manager was kind enough to allow us to check into a room. A lower grade room than one booked but we were happy after a 14 hour flight to be able to check in and freshen up. The air conditioning was a problem, kept resetting to 30 deg C, room was like an oven, however, panel was replaced same day as reporting the problem. Breakfast quality and variety excellent. Pillows not good quality, far too soft. Overall good experience.
B. N.
Thank you for an excellent stay at your hotel. The staff were really friendly & pleasant, and the disabled accessible room was amazing. I have never seen such a big bathroom. The staff in both the bar & restaurant were also very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay & would definitely come back in the future.
Only negative is I thought we booked an Executive family room & I think we were given a Twin or deluxe. But that was possibly because it was the only accessible room available. It didn't bother us one bit and like I said we really enjoyed the stay, everything was great!
B. R.
A lot nicer than it looks from the outside, large rooms and bathrooms. Good breakfast. Secure underground parking
H. B.
Excellent rooms. Clean, spacious, bath and separate shower. Great location just two minutes walk from gunnersbury tube station for underground and overground. Very good evening food, breakfast is varied and caters for all diets including detox water, smoothies as well as the usual for buffet. Friendly staff. Very much enjoyed our stay.
A. M.
Waited a long time to be served at the bar despite being the only customer. Rooms nice - everything you need, although I did have to ask reception for water for the room. I liked the bathroom décor, think art deco. You cannot go onto the roof top terrace sadly, which for smoking guests would be perfect as it would save them standing out the front of the hotel.
R. W.
Very happy with our hotel stay over the weekend. Hotel room on the top floor was beautiful and very clean. Nice view of London, wonderful layout and lovely large bath. Pleasant and attentive staff. My only criticism would be that the Wifi didn't work in the room – maybe too far from a Wifi router/booster? Which meant you had to sit in the hotel lobby to use it, otherwise very pleasant.
M. B.
Fabulous. The staff are very friendly. Bed are so comfortable(. Food) curry was amazing
I. P.
Spacious room, big delicious breakfast. Not the cleanest pillow or TV remote keyboard around. The British staff are kind and responsible.
A. M.
I would stay again. This hotel is in a good location, very close to the Gunnersbury train station with district line link to London and a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Lots of options for food and shops on the high street nearby. Breakfast was pretty good. Lots of choices, although the choices were the same every day. Sometimes the eggs were soupy instead of fully scrambled. Cleanliness in the room could be better but isn't horrible. Nothing gross or scary, but some trash/debris from previous occupant was under the furniture when I arrived in my room. Cleanliness throughout the common bar and restaurant area was good. Staff was friendly and attentive for most things, but not very helpful when trying to book a room. I recommend booking online as that was much easier and prices were cheaper online than when I tried talking to a person. Rooms are smaller than what a typical American hotel has to offer, something to be aware of. If you want space, upgrade to the executive (more expensive) room. There was a lot more space in that room.
T. M.
We stopped here after taking our daughter to Heathrow which is a short drive away. Excellent transport links near to the hotel means you can access all parts of London at your ease. The best staff I have encountered in a large Hotel in years. Everything was spotless. Would highly recommend.
M. S. N.
I met up with colleagues for a business meeting and only had tea and coffee. It was nice and quiet and perfect for our meeting. They did not object to the fact that we were using their cafe for a long meet. The public rooms downstairs were smart and clean and comfortable. We loved it
H. R.
After staying on a Saturday night for 1 night the staff kindly upgraded us from a king room to a suite which was a lovely Gesture.
The room was modern with some quirky colour choices, a little retro which was a nice change.
The bed was comfortable & the free standing bath was relaxing.
Overall it was a pleasant experience & I would certainly stay again if in the area.
L.
We had a conference there. It went very well. The staff was very helpful during the conference (led by Raoul), they would replenish our tea station all the time, answer to all our queries (even had to ask for nail polish to stop tights from ripping, and they provided that!).
Just one note, we were quite a big crowd and it would have been helpful to have 2 buffet stations opened (just like it was done for the second day) as the queue was really long on day 1 and delegates did complain about that afterwards...
Another good thing is the bedroom prices were fairly affordable for company policies which allowed our delegates to stay within the same hotel as the conference, rather than look for a cheaper alternative elsewhere.
Also, thank you the events team and Stephanie in particular for being so easy to work with.
R. C.
Nice hotel with great staff. The room was spacious and well designed. Breakfast was really good. A great selection of fruit, cooked breakfast, cereals, and other things.
M. T.
The work you have done with the staff is excellent. Great consistency in quality of service. There were a number of problems but these were rapidly and fixed to our satisfaction. I might add most of the problems were not due to a failure of front line staff. Good honest warmth with NO plastic faces with "have a nice day" will definitely stay there again when next in London.
M. C.
Staff very pleasant, polite and helpful. Clean and tidy rooms with good facilities. Self-service breakfast which catered for all appetites and dietary requirements. Ideal location. This is our second stay overnight at the Clayton and we would definitely recommend the Clayton Hotel to anyone wanting a weekend break in London. Since our last visit the dining room area has been refurbished which has vastly improved the ambience.
D. K.
Stayed overnight with my sister on Christmas day to Boxing day 2018 .The Room was so clean , Quiet and so lovely . We also had Christmas Dinner and Breakfast, that to was, superb . Hot , freshly cooked and everything you wanted from a meal / breakfast .The staff makes a great hotel and i can`t praise highly enough for the Serving staff who served us, And the Receptionist , And also the Lady Manager were so kind ,Well organised . Everybody working so hard to make are stay enjoyable ..
S. H.
We have stayed several times at this hotel, our reasons:
- Good location, we used to live in Chiswick
- Nice and friendly staff
- This time due to Covid-19 restrictions the place is Covid safe!
J. H.
Lovely architecture of my room - the shape, windows, size of the bathroom and so on. Plenty of storage space to hang and put away clothes., Plug points by the bed and a USB charging point. The details in terms of product, tea and coffee little chocolates were excellent. Breakfast was really great with good options on the 'full English' and on the continental.
3 complaints in order of significance:
1 the bath took about 30 mins to fill
2 the electrical point on the side of the dressing table was damaged
3 the bed sheet had a hole in the side.
I would definitely stay again if in the area.
K. F.
The Clayton has recently been refurbished and is a smart, modern hotel which offers all the expected little luxuries. Rooms are well appointed with nice bathroom facilities and plenty of space. The bar area is very sleek. We did not take breakfast so cannot comment but would expect it to be up to standard. Staff are helpful and friendly.
D. A.
A lovely hotel in a good location just off the M4 and a within a short walking distance to tube and bus stops making it really convenient to get into central London. Breakfast was great with lots of options. The only downside was the size of our room which was very small and the bathroom even smaller and this was described as a deluxe room which I think was a bit misleading but the decor was nicely done. The important thing is I wouldn't hesitate to stay again and really looking forward to returning.
S.
I use this hotel fairly frequently, it’s clean and reliable. Rooms in the newer wing are the nicest, spacious, well presented and comfortable at a reasonable price. The older part of the hotel (above reception/bar/restaurant) are still okay, just starting to show signs of age and not quite as nice. I would definitely recommend the hotel for anyone looking for an comfortable place to stay in London that isn’t going to cost the earth. Short ride on the tube and your in the centre, perfect!
D. J.
We stayed at this hotel some years ago when it was the Moran. The refurbishment of the hotel to what is now the Clayton is very impressive. It is not just "surface" improvements, the quality of the fitments used are exceptional.
The air conditioning worked brilliantly.
The staff were polite and obliging.
Breakfast was excellent although it seemed as though more staff was required. It was difficult to order tea/coffee and even harder to get refills.
Hotel is conveniently located near an underground station and a bus stop.
L. W.
Hotel was in a good location for access to Chiswick Bars and Shops. Safe and Secure Parking. Rooms comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent with some good healthy choices available. Reception area was vey hot and would be better cooler. Bar area was good with good range of beers and wines but disappointed to be charged £6.60p for 3 bags of kettle crisps.
S. S.
Good neat hotel. Very good service
A. Z.
The exec rooms are nice and clean. Bathroom was amazing and prob the best part of the whole room. Staff at check in was nice and pleasant. However checkout women seemed to be having a difficult day as when asked for help with our bags to be put in car I was told to take it myself as there wasn't anyone around. How unprofessional! I ended up dragging the trolley full of our luggage and suits to the basement floor car park on my own.
For this reason wouldn't want to stay there again. Hire more staff
K. M.
A short trip in Chiswick - booked into this highly rated hotel.
The main communal areas (bar and restaurant) were well presented, breakfast was excellent and service was top class. I did not eat in the restaurant or bar but chose to visit a local pub instead.
Check in was fast, check out even faster. Staff were pleasant and polite.
Only negative was my bathroom (was a wet room which I was not told about before hand) had an old, damaged shower head that spat water out of the cracks where it had obviously previously been dropped and never repaired or replaced. The shower head was too heavy to be held un the cradle so had to hold this. Bathroom lighting was poor and the whole bathroom was way below what I had expected felt like something out of a horror movie tbh. Had I been staying a second night I would have complained in person and be asked to move.
A real shame as it was an otherwise pleasant experience.
R. R.
Parking there only. They jave put the price up.
J. V.
The only complaint came from my wife: she is just 5 feet tall and she could only see the top half of her face in the bathroom mirror.
The breakfast was most acceptable and the staff in all departments friendly, polite and professional. We enjoyed our stay in your hotel. So did the rest of our family.
D. D.
Stayed at the Clayton Hotel recently and found that all my expectations were exceeded. From staff friendliness, room standards, cleanliness, food quality and presentation. And of course the transport links were second to none. Excellent local transport links can get you to and from Heathrow in just over a half an hour or into the main attractions in 20 minutes. My thanks to all the staff, Vaz, Steven, and Daniel, to name a few who excelled in every way. Most definitely be staying here on my next visit.
A. T.
Conveniently located hotel in Chiswick, not too far from Heathrow. Literally across the street from Gunnersbury underground station, which takes you to the heart of London in less than 25 minutes.
The hotel itself is lovely, with modern style furniture, which is both stylish and comfortable. Our triple room (one double bed and one single bed) was spacious and comfortable, though smaller than we had anticipated before we arrived. However, by London hotel accommodation standards, it was large. The bathroom was large and modern, with a rain shower.
We ate dinner in the hotel's restaurant one night and enjoyed breakfast there throughout our stay. Dinner was delicious and the breakfast had enough variety that there was something to enjoy, even if you didn't want the traditional English breakfast experience.
While the hotel's common areas and rooms are beautiful, this hotel's true stars are the staff. Excellent customer service from everyone, from the restaurant staff to the front desk, to housekeeping. We had to call housekeeping nearly every day since they only brought towels for two people instead of three, but they were so nice and brought them up to us right away.
Overall, we had a great stay and would not hesitate to book again.
C. Y.
Room has been recently refurbished but TV doesn't work properly, some part of the wall has some missing piantwork and water drained very very slowly in the shower. Room is clean, staff is friendly and the breakfast is good! There's room for improvement and a pleasant overnight stay.
D. S.
Hotel with good facilities, good position but let down by the room not being properly cleaned. There was dirt in the toilet bowl, around the taps and the plug hole. The bed side lamps were also splashed with something. I left a note for housekeeping to clean these areas but to no avail. Disappointed🙃 room 517
N. v. P.
Goor room, small bed and the cleaning was the first night not done, we don't know too ask that.
M. C.
Nice hotel, rooms are always clean and staff polite. Only reason I gave it 4 star is because the food can sometimes be a bit dry. Gym could do with some more equipment too like a curling bar.
K. M.
Great, fantastic hotel, good services and friendly staff
G. L.
Attended a weekend conference here and stayed for 2 nights. Restaurant and bar were good - but expensive - but usual LONDON prices. Excellent car park underground. Nice large rooms that are well appointed.
M. M. J.
We had a beautiful room, which was much better, than we had magined. Score 5 for that :0)
But the service in the bar were terrible, when we wanted to eat there on our last day. The waiters saw us comming, but didn´t give us any service, so I had to get the menu myself. Still no service, and we had to go up to the bar to order. My plate wasn´t clean, and we left pretty fast after dinner. At breakfast there were a lot of waiters, but non of them seamed wery minded on helping the guests, just cleaning up fast. Maybe we just have higher standard in our hotels than in London. We would come back another time thou, cause the hotel and the room was smashing :0)
M. c.
Stayed for a family wedding and booked an executive room, I was expecting bath robes and slippers for two but no robes and only one pair of slippers nothing like the website. You expect to receive the standard that is advertised? When I questioned this at reception i was informed someone would be with me shortly, a very pleasant young man delivered a second pair of slippers but knew nothing about robes, he never returned with a solution, this had already been flagged in trip advisor and needs to be addressed. You also need to sort the grouting in the bathroom and other decorative issues in the rooms. The food was lovely but breakfast was chaotic, we had to ask for simple things like cutlery. When leaving the car park which I think once you've paid £150 for one night, 1 we shouldn't have to pay but 2 the payment method via contactless or pin should work, it didn't we had to call reception for help. Most of these are minor niggles but you need to advertise your hotel as it actually is? If I ever stayed in a Clayton Hotel again I wouldn't bother with an upgrade I don't think I got true value for money.
B. J.
Room was pleasant (918), bar area good, but restaurant didn’t match the formers.
Had an issue with my centre fillet steak but the manager sorted it. Could stay again but would dine elsewhere next time.
S. B.
Stayed here for Wimbledon again. Another excellent stay. The only thing I could fault is the shower - which had one of those water saving devices on it - the type that means you save water but don't get a decent shower.
But the room was large and very comfortable, as was the bathroom.
All good overall.
S. P.
Its a decent hotel. Has a big n bright executive rooms. The breakfast menu is great. Has a good variety. No swimming pool though. Tge staff here are quite friendly.
F. C.
Arrived at hotel, check in was swift, we had an executive room, which was fantastic, in all of the hotels I have stayed in, this room was fab, BUT the Bathroom was one of the biggest I have seen, it was beautiful, we were attending a function on the Saturday night, the food was fabulous, staff very polite.
We will come back to this hotel. Excellent
S. S.
I was in for a corporate event, very neat and comfortable event.

We enjoyed our stay very much.
As we checked in early Aoife was most helpful and efficient and looked after us very well.
She made sure our luggage was in our room when we returned to the hotel later that evening.
Nothing was too much trouble for her.
Sean Elliott we met while having a late night drink in the bar. We would also like to mention him for the fact that he came over to check if we had everything we needed and was very helpful with giving advice.
R. R.
Great style and new hotel, felt comfortable, 2min walk from the gunnersburry station that takes you to any place in London through the underground (mind the gap!)
Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the shower and sink kept flooding, I think they may need a plumber. Also the carpet didn't seem to get vacuumed or cleansed after people checked out. My room had stains in the carpet and definitely smelled like accumulated dust. Everyday after coming back to my room, the carpet got worse of the dirtiness, something easily mitigated with a simple vacuum.
Everything else was amazing, receptionist gave us complimentary drinks because our rooms were not ready when it was supposed to, upon checking in. If you get a good rate take it, the hotel is still far well worth it.
d. h.
A modern, arttractive hotel.
Easy and convenient to reserve rooms online or by phone which are large and comfortable. Prices, inclusive of a good and varied breakfast are in the 120 to 130 pounds range per day. The beds are comfortable and the showers excellent. There is good, easily-controlled air- conditioning. Very useful for a stay in London but away from the very expensive central area. A taxi to the West End cost £35 for our group of three. Good parking available but not guaranteed. Likely to cost £16 for over ten hours.
S. S.
I always found it nice staying in Clayton. Each time I visit London, I prefer to stay here because of the professionalism in the staff, the way the things are maintained well and also the good food. The hotel rooms are spacious and well maintained. It's hygienic and clean. I would certainly recommend Clayton hotel to my friends and colleagues.
M. S.
Really nice hotel and staff the rooms were lovely and comfortable especially the bed
I. J.
The Hotel is well located, not far from Heathrow airport, just nearby the Gunnersbury station that provides direct connection to city center and to transport hubs as Richmond station, and to airport. However it is far from city center, still quite pricey, not fancy simple rooms, not so for tourists and romantic couples. There is huge Chiswick business center nearby and some office buildings. So it is perfect for business people coming to do some job alone.
Hotel is on the fly path of planes and on a busy road, however I should really say good words about sound insulation. I did not hear a sound coming from the street, though there were always planes passing by. You cannot open the window. In spite the external insulation was good, internal insulation was bad. I could hear people talking in the corridor, knocking the doors. I was even awakened one time during a night when some freak was trying to break into a nearby room.
The facilities are not new, there are signs of tear and wear, however still in good condition and fully working. I was unlucky that during my stay the doors at the floor were getting repaint, so I got that bad toxic smell in the corridor. Possibly for future it would be nice idea for management to consider emptying the full floor and get a paint work only after that.
TV, WIFI, hot water, HVAC were all perfectly working. There was only concern about lighting in the bathroom, maybe the switch was not working properly, or there was some adjustment, sometimes it was veeery dark there, could barely shave. But sometimes it was ok. No idea why is that. There is paid underground parking if you rent a car. Also, there is business meeting room, printer and working space.
Personnel is very nice, friendly and smiling. They got good training. The room service was working as a clock, everyday with no delay. The breakfasts are just amazing, great choice of fruit, cereals, buns, smoothies, sausages. There are also a pub and grill cafes with football broadcasting, also very nice.
There is also a nice small gym, usually empty.
So in general, good quality hotel, if you are a business person and your stay get paid by your company.

It's ok. We only managed to stay in yhe old part of the hotel, so despite looking nice, you could tell it was something still out of the 70's and 80's.
The TV is really old and struggles to work, the lights were a bit dodgy to work.
However our double bed was massive, which is great, clean sheets everyday, and the bathroom was great, lovely shower! A bit dark inside thou.
J. H.
Overall the updates were impressive. Food quality was decent. Conference staff was Outstanding (LUCAS!). The only thing that was odd to me was that you didn't offer Small Face Towels in the rooms.
I would stay again!
G. B.
Second time stay in as many months and as happy as the last time. The rooms are clean with large comfortable beds, large bathroom with great shower. The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. Will definitely be returning.
I. T.
Friendly, helpful staff remaining professional and efficient. Enjoyed my stay. High standard of hygiene.
E. M.
All in all the experience of your hotel was good. It was a family weekend break and the location for us was perfect. We will definitely use it again.
However I would say that the service delivered at breakfast was well below par. The elderly gentleman that was supposedly serving was at best, very rude. On both mornings we had to request tea/coffee on a number of occasions and felt that we had asked for something out of the ordinary. If it was due to excessive workload of this gentleman, can I suggest you review this or maybe even provide a self service point for hot drinks.
The barman,Sean, set a very high standard with his customer service and my expectations are that all you team should aim to emulate him.
L. C.
I only stayed for one night and it was very enjoyable. The staff i dealt with were very polite and professional. The room was very good and comfortable.
My only complant is that breakfast was not included. With the price being just short of £100 i would expect to a breakfast included.
A. W.
Lovely hotel for the price charged. Room was spotless and the amenities were superb. Staff are very welcoming and helpful at all times.
Z. H.
Rooms are quiet. Wi-Fi is good. Food is good though expensive. Staff are very friendly. Shower has great water pressure. Strangely no washcloths, just towels and hand towels. If you forgot an amenity such as toothbrush you must buy it from a vending Machi e on premises. But the vending machine does have: condoms, lube, toothbrush, toothpaste, charger cable with lightning micro USB and USB-c all in one, razors. No rewards/points program.
M. M.
Hmm, a bit worn decor, small room with road noise. Breakfast was just somthing to eat but better than nothing. Room was clean enough and the tv worked fine. The single bed was o.k and the staff on reception were nice enough. If you are on a budget this place is o.k. Hotel had small car park to rear. No frills and you get what you pay for. At the time of this review it costs 40 pounds per night so good value. It had a shared bathroom and toliet. I would possibly stay again but with room with its own bathroom and toliet.
M. F.
Nice hotel and would have been happy if it were not for the self-closing doors slamming shut with an almighty thud (or that's how it seemed when waking me up in the night) whenever guests enter their rooms and don't hold onto the door to stop it slamming.
I understand they have to be self-closing, but why on earth can't they do so quietly?
I was woken up twice between 11:30 PM and 1 AM, and then again at around 3 AM. After that I could not sleep at all. It was a terrible night and I felt awful the following day. I would not stay at this hotel again unless they resolved that problem.
5 November 2017 – only fair that I update this review, to say that Clayton hotel did contact me to apologise, and advised that they would have every door in the hotel checked and repaired if necessary. They also offered me a free return stay with breakfast at a time of my choosing. This recently took place and I’m happy to confirm that I was not woken by slamming doors in the night :-) overall it was a very pleasant experience, this time round. Thank you, Clayton hotel.

Location for the tube is excellent. Our 2nd stay, on the whole good, a good room but some annoying service. An unpleasant smell from bathroom reported but took 24 hours to fix (to be fair swap offered); asked for room coffee but it never arrived. Later breakfasts not as good as early ones! ...they were "tired"
M. T.
I was stranded due to major cancellations out of Heathrow and had to stay there unexpectedly (all the cheaper hotels near the airport were all booked). Not only was the hotel beautiful, but the staff was amazing! Great service, bent over backwards for me. I would really recommend!
N. M.
Good quality hotel, good buffet breakfast and Wifi, Good Parking facility underneath Hotel, small but adequate fitness facility. Bar bit pricey but standard for location. Hotel is also within walking distance of some pubs and shops if you want to venture out. Convenient location for M4 commute and 5 minute walk from tube station making it very good for getting into central London without the hassle of getting caught up in traffic.
S. M.
I have stayed with you about seven times this year, booking two rooms at a time (so 14 rooms), and it is disappointing to find that every room I've stayed in has had quality issues.
But first of all the good.... It is always clean. And now the bad....
This time we had a non-functioning TV (sorted out), air conditioning that was much too cold (we were given a heater - this is the fourth time we have had this complaint, and I overheard other guests complaining about it), a bath that took more than an hour to fill up (nothing sorted), and loud music from a function in another part the hotel that went on until 1.30am. This is quite frankly unacceptable, and on that basis I would not recommend the Clayton Hotel to my friends.
The Clayton tries hard but the truth is the rooms should be checked and inspected for quality issues to a much more rigorous standard than you currently use.
S.
have stayed in this hotel several times, the hotel has a "newer" and "older" part.. and depending on where you get a room the quality of the rooms varies a lot.
The newer rooms are perfect... in the older rooms the bathroom was not very clean, the bathroom curtain stank and was dirty.. the water drainage in the sink was very slow...
G. P.
We had a pleasant stay, the staff friendly & helpful. Very convenient location and most of all Great breakfast.
When I asked the volume of the music to be down a bit at breakfast, it was done straight away with a smile.
Cannot rate the WiFi as we did not use it
S. M.
Very smart hotel. The conference rooms were very nice and well appointed. The bedrooms and very clean and modern. The food at the restaurant is good and the gym is decent too. Very happy with my stay.

We like the comfort and location of the hotel, as well as the friendliness of the staff. One major disppointment this time was the lousy WiFi in our Room 219, probably due to the fact that the room is fairly deep and narrow.
R. S.
Lovely hotel, reception didnt give any information about breakfast at check in so we were left wandering in the morning to find where we had to go and the process wasnt explained so the staff that was there just seemed to expect us to know we were meant to give our name. Breakfast was good with a good selection, could have been a little quicker refilling though as i found myself waiting for waffles to be replenished. There were not enough towels for us in our room (considering we were put in a family room; booked a twin but cluld have slept 3) only 1 big towel but of the other towels. When we explained on check out they just said "the obvious well...you should have said" but to be honest, as we didnt realise until it was too late we didnt want to wait for one of the staff to bring a towel so just made do. Also a little disappointed that she said that as they should have made sure there were enough towels in the first place as it is part of housekeepings job and a simple apology on their behalf would have sufficed. Everything else was lovely, really good amenities and comfortable beds.
M. S.
Great, clean hotel with very helpful staff.
The rooms are big and the bathrooms very modern. I recommend this to any couples who are looking for somewhere special to stay.
The breakfast is also great with a lot of choice.
O.
Very enjoyable stay. I will return

I stay at this hotel, probably once a month for business and they honestly couldn't be more helpful. The last time I stayed I was running late and didn't get there til 1am, I did phone ahead to let them know, I had the same quality of service even at that time of day.
The beds are ridiculously comfortable and the rooms are stunning. I highly recommend this hotel.
S. A.
Didn't stay in this hotel so can't really say anything about the services inside other than their staffs are always ready to help me out whenever I have issues parking my vehicle here when I pay to park through an App I use I my phone.
K. D.
We just love the Clayton. It's been beautifully refurbished. The staff are fantastic at making your stay as pefect as they can. There were some IT issues but the Reception worked tirelessly to make check-in seamless and staff went out of their way to accommodate your needs. Thank you for a memorable stay again. We will certainly be back. Top quality establishment. Thank you.
A. Y.
Checked out at noon after a 3 nites stay.
At about 3pm while working in the lobby and waiting to go to the airport, I went to the washroom briefly without realising that my brand new iphone 11 was still lying on the coffee table by the high traffic doorway. A staff (Maria) saw the Hp there and fetch it to the Reception for safe keeping. Thanks a million! Hardworking, friendly and honest real people staff this hotel!

Staying at the Clayton Hotel Chiswick was great for our weekend stay in London. We booked the hotel online and had no idea what to expect since it was the first time staying in this hotel and in this area of London. The hotel is well situated near the tube station where you can easily move from there to all parts of the city. The quality of the room and the amenities are great, the service from the staff is really good. Breakfast is served warm and in a very comfortable area, excellent quality with everything served in the buffet. Would definitely go back to the hotel and recommend it to friends and family. Thank you!
D. a.
I cant fault the hotel , the room, the service or the comfort.
I come here often as i don't live in london anymore . Everything is perfect.
From entering the hotel, checking in and sleeping. Perfect and keep it up.
K. G.
Easy to find, short walk to Chiswick business complex. Good restaurant and separated bar offerings. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is good too, solid mix of hot and cold. Even vegan options.
C. C.
My daughter had booked the hotel for us and was somewhat concerned because she had never been there and was not familiar with the hotel or even the area itself. My husband and I are certainly not world travelers by any means, and I was a bit nervous being in a strange (and foreign) city for the first time. We are dinner in the hotel grill that first evening and were extremely fortunate to be served by a very helpful man, Sean Elliot. Sean asked how we were enjoying London so far and I blurted out that I was a bit overwhelmed by the travel maps - both tube and bus. He sat right down with us and downloaded an app for our phones that he said was better than any "official" map and pretty much guaranteed it would get us wherever we wanted to go and back to the hotel again. He was right! He was pretty much the first person we met in London, and his helpfulness sort of set the tone for the rest of our trip. I don't know what we would have done without him! Clayton Hotel, you're lucky to have Sean working for you. Kudos! He let us take a photo with him before we left and I'm posting it here. Besides that, the hotel was quite comfortable and we enjoyed ourselves very much.

We stayed in two rooms for five nights. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms well-fitted. The rooms were very good value for Chiswick. Breakfast was excellent and the bar/reception area has plenty of seating. The hotel is only five minutes walk to Gunnersbury Tube and around 10-15 minutes down to Strand on the Green on the Thames. The only problem was being told, after three nights, that we had to move from one of the rooms, apparently because of a leak in the bathroom. Repacking and moving was an inconvenience but the replacement room had no working a/c. So, unpacking and repacking a second time was more than inconvenient. The liaison person from reception did a very good job in smoothing over the situation, apologising and compensating us by complimentary breakfasts and drinks. I would definitely recommend the hotel to people visiting London.
N. B.
Nice big room with comfy bed and good shower and bathroom, as well as a very large and tasty breakfast. However, the extractor fan does not work in the room, and when we arrived at 2pm (which is the stated check in time) we were told one of our rooms would not be ready for another half an hour. The hotel also seems to be keen on hosting events, which meant when we returned to the hotel at 10.30pm we had to walk through a gaggle of 20 or more revelers who stunk of cigarettes and other substances- the hotel was hosting some sort of party which included very loud music blasting from reception. This also meant some rowdy people running down our corridor for an hour or so after we got in. Mixed experience, I probably would not stay here again.
O. L.
I've stayed here for work several times. It's a nice hotel with large rooms and fast Internet. The breakfast is okay, but the restaurant is not very good. It's close to the Gunnersbury underground station and there are many buses. Would especially recommend to people working in the Chiswick Business Park.

Friendly and helpful staff
Room and especially bathroom sheer indulgence
Bar staff excellent and lovely atmosphere in bar
One little criticism!
At breakfast there was only a choice of scrambled egg at the buffet. I had to ask for poached eggs
Breakfast was delicious though and plenty of everything
K. H.
Pleasant hotel five minutes walk from Gunnersbry station and 30 min walk to Kew Gardens.
Pleasant friendly staff, helpful and always greeted with a smile, nothing was too much trouble.
Room. Was clean, quiet and spacious, the bed very comfortable.
Restaurant well priced and food well cooked and presented, staff again very attentive.
There is car parking available for staying g
guests for £18.00 a night , very secure in a locked underground car park.

What a beautiful hotel and so big! We used a conference room and it was outstanding. Great facilities, helpful staff and really up-to-date modern decor. Would definitely use again and recomend!

Perfect family hotel for visiting London from the west. Interconnected rooms tricky to book online

You have a wonderful staff at this hotel. Only one suggestion: Eliminate the scent generated at the front door, many people are allergic to such scents.
Very Best Regards,

I signed up for two stays at the Clayton on my computer. The first was for two nights in mid-July, and the second was for two days later, also for two nights. But, it turned out, when I made the reservation, the computer had some glitch and stated the stay was the two days following the date I made the reservation. (This was months before.) I did not check it; just assumed it was fine. Until the night before I left for England. Then, I noticed the mistake and called to get it corrected. They did not correct it or give me my money back for the wrong booking; obviously a mistake of the computer. Instead, they charged me for two more nights. This was totally unfair and a bit greedy on the part of the hotel. After all, it was their system on which I made the reservation. But, admittedly, I had not looked earlier. The hotel staff was very nice, but this unfortunate handling will always taint the way I think about the Clayton, for all locations.
A. F.
Nice hotel, rooms very comfortable and spacious. Good amenities and food was good. Food good with plenty of choice, average London pricing. Parking is available on site but can be a nightmare, staff just tell you you need to park elsewhere if full so not very helpful!
S. H.
The staff are excellent, but high rotation of staff says something's not right.
The TV system is the worst I've every come across in a hotel. In the room the TV can have huge latency when changing channels. You keep pressing to turn the volume, nothing, them several minuets later, bag maximum volume!!
In the bar when watching sport the screen jitter.
This is really poor.
I hear the staff discussing this with customer almost every day.

Everything was 10/10 for us. Really pleased with our room was very clean and great decor. Staff was very friendly both at reception and at the bar nothing was to much trouble. Location is perfect close to gunnersby station which took us into the center. Parking was easy plenty of spaces, not sure if it will be free for long but was hassle free. Will definatley stay here again.

We held our daughters wedding at the Clayton Hotel, Chiswick. The Ballroom was a spectacular setting and the events manager Stephanie was an absolute star !!! In our time of need she had a very calming manner which saw us through the day. Housekeeping staff were very attentive and the whole day was very successful. I have no hesitation in recommending the venue, you will not be disappointed.

Very nice and modern. Clean, great sized rooms. Fast wireless. Breakfast is 12Pounds and is good for 1 day as its the same thing every morning. Would stay here again

A great hotel for business visits (no problems with Internet and really close to the tube station), plus breakfast buffet gets the day off to a good start! Gym on the small side, but modern equipment and absolutely fine if only a handful of people in there.

Clean, comfortable and friendly employees

Have stayed here several times over the past few years and always have a great welcome with service that is friendly and warm. Will definitely use again as food is good and hotel exceptionally comfortable and convenient.

My fav west London Hotel. I stay several times a month due to local work and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and modern and there’s a descent Hotel gym. The food is good, breakfast choice excellent with amazing omelettes on request and above all the range of Gins in the bar is varied and at times innovative.
Excellent location for the M4,
North circular and for the tube via Gunnersbury.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the new hotel. Was a reluctant guest in the "Moran" for many years needing the proximity to the Business Park next door. Now I cannot get over how fresh, modern, smart and frankly gorgeous this property is. Actually look forward to my monthly stays. And what kind and gracious staff. Keep it up!
And THANK YOU ALL!!
W. C. C.
The executive room didn't contain all the amenities as advertised on the website e.g. bathrobe and slippers. The shower floor was stained and probably should be re-done. Toilet wasn't cleaned on 1 of the days. The sink also seemed partially blocked as the water took time to go down. Not sure if the complimentary biscuits are only offered per stay but they weren't replenished. Although not major issues but it made our stay less enjoyable.
One of the receptionists wasn't very friendly. She didn't serve us directly but from observation dealing with other guests. However, Aoife was very helpful and friendly, even helping to deal with a lady who couldnt connect her ipad to the wifi and dealing with a query on the telephone; very professional.
The restaurant staff during breakfast time should also be commended as they were very attentive and friendly. It's a shame I didn't catch their names but they were really great! One in particular acknowledged they were a bit rushed and made the effort to apologise to a group who must have had a bad experience earlier.
The business area and wifi were great and I would probably recommend on that basis. But for a nice luxury getaway for a couple I probably would not.
J. W.
Nice, clean and modern hotel with friendly staff. A few things wrong with the first room we were put in but after talking to the reception we were quickly moved to a better room. Would recommend highly.

Visited London in July and found this hotel to be a great base for a wonderful trip. Staff is very service oriented. They're only going to be around 30 mins away from Central London via Gunnersbury Station or less than 20 minutes away from Westfield White City via 237 or a few stops away from Kew Gardens.

Only live 15 miles from Chiswick but wanted a weekend away with some visiting friends. We booked a family suite for the 3 of us (3 old friends from uni, now mid 40's) and were very impressed, A lovely looking hotel, great underground car park, very central location and great breakfast. Perfect

Stayed one night for a conference. Staff are lovely and very professional. Rooms are comfortable and clean, very powerful shower. Food for conference was excellent. Quite a way from central London.

I had a very pleasant stay, and was impressed with the friendly welcome.
My room was clean and luxurious, and having a bath as well as a wet room is an added bonus.

Hotel has Ben refurbished and is done to a really high standard. Very good value for money. The local area is great for grabbing dinner or even breakfast. The hotel is conveniently situated almost opposite Gunnersbury station on the District Line and Overground with easy access to Central London and Richmond.

Very nice location. Underground parking so no hassle finding somewhere on a busy Saturday. The breakfast was a very good mix of all you could want and all well laid out and very relaxing. Thank you to all in the Chiswick Clayton hotel for making our weekend something to remember fondly.

Our initial reaction when we 1st arrived at the hotel was one of disappointment with the work+ noise going on at the front of the hotel!!
On entering the hotel,we expressed our disappointment to a member of the reception staff who assured us that all refurbishment within the hotel was complete+ the work outside wouldn't interfere with our stay, she ensured us that we would be given a room on one of the higher levels to ensure we weren't disturbed.
We truly weren't disappointed with our room on the 7th floor,it was stunning!!! We were upgraded to a kingsize suite, which was absolutely amazing with a beautiful free standing massive bathtub along with twin handbasins,as well as a great powered shower! The bathroom area was all open plan which we were very impressed with as it was still private but felt more relaxing!the overall decor of the room was of a very high standard with the bed being soooo comfy!!! The only downside was that we only stayed for one night!!! The reception area+ other areas on the ground floor of the reception are also stunning and the chairs/couches are extremely comfortable as well as being extremely stylish!!
We would definately recomend this hotel+ will definately stay again on future visits to Chiswick.
Thanks again

The room I had was always cold, we had to ask for towels and extra tea making victuals also my partner found tablets on the floor which was not acceptable. The aroma in the foyer was pleasant at first but became annoying at breakfast time .

The hotel is located at about 3 minutes walk from the underground station Gunnersbury. The staff was very nice and helpfull, and wellcomes guests with a big smile. The room i stayed in was very big and comfortable, with big windows and lots of natural light. The room decoration and furniture are modern and tastefull. The bed is super confortable-matrice, pillows and all. The bathroom has a shower and bathtube. Very good cleaning services everyday, daily.
The only inconvenience was that the room was chilly, max. 22°C in march.

Fantastic hotel
Very attractive colour scheme in reception and new annex rooms
Good size modern bathroom with rain shower
All staff very friendly and professional service given at reception and bar /breakfast areas
Special thanks to Geeveena for a lovely welcome every morning at breakfast and made sure we were happy with our breakfast requests . Thank you for a lovely stay .

Part of the hotel is very new and beautiful, but the other part is old and not so inviting. We were in the new part, the room looks good and has a large bathroom. The location is pretty bad, and it takes 50-60 mins to get to the center..
A. L.
The restaurant was excellent for Christmas Day lunch this year. The food was very good and the service some of the best that I have experienced for many years. The young Manageress was particularly helpful. I cannot praise it too highly.
E. J.
The overall hotel and room are nice, however, on arrival there was only one member of staff on reception with a queue of four people waiting. The other members of the reception team appeared to be in a meeting and very slowly made their way back to assist their colleague. The same issue was repeated on check out, with one member of staff on reception and other wandering through. The wifi did not work at all in the room, trying on both iPhone and laptop, or in the dining room at breakfast time. I did report this to reception and was told it worked fine down there which was not exactly helpful. We also arrived back at the hotel wanting something to eat, it was 10.55pm so we said we would order from the room service menu to the bar. We were told it would have to be from the 24 hour items, which would be ok if there was anything available for vegetarians except vegetable lasagne, no other items were suitable.

Wonderful hotel great facilities ideally located outside london centre close to kew gardens but 30 mins from centre.its in chiswick which is bustling centre.
The hotel hass lovely welcoming staff the food is of a high standard reasonably priced
Nice bar and lounges with all the courtesies you would expect from 5 star establishment
The leisure facilities we did not use this time but a quick check out gave me the comfort to rebook a longer stay knowing there was everything I would need
L. K.
Really nice rooms, food is average. Parking is terrible, half the spaces are reserved but always empty. Have been told to move my car out of the hotel car park and find somewhere else after being told it was a reserved bay missing the sign. There is no long stay parking nearby.
E. C.
An ideal hotel for short breaks in London. Well located a short walk from Gunnersbury tube station, this hotel is a good location for visiting Kew Gardens.
The price is reasonable, the quality of stay excellent. Some variation between rooms, but that's too be expected.
R. P.
Great room, service food, friendly staff and location.
P. H.
I was working in Chiswick and picked the Clayton as it is so close to the business park. Unfortunately I didn't get to take advantage of the facilities but the staff I met were very helpful and friendly, the hotel and room was very clean and the bed super comfy. Not sure about the bright yellow tiles in the bathroom.
K. S.
Beautiful, clean hotel.
In a great location!
S. C.
The hotel itself is great for events spacecous clean staff are very friendly and professional however we have had some issues with parking. As a team of 36 people at least 25 have cars which has been pre paid parking. A few members have not been able to park due to external guests parking In there and we have been turned away. Some people including myself have had to park on a street around the corner and pay £10 for a few hours to then have to move the car. Another annoyance is the hogarth suite there is not any tables and uncomfortable seating. So, 6-8 hours Sat on those chairs becomes very frustrating and cannot write notes etc.

A modern hotel located in Chiswick next to business center Chiswick Park. It has got a nice design, very good English breakfast and a fitness gym. The only disadvantage was that the elevators were under repairing and only one was working, the stairs were also closed .. Due to this I had to wait too much time to go up to the room. Otherwise , I recommend

We had the pleasure of staying at the Clayton Hotel Chiswick on Saturday 3rd Sep 2016 and were absolutely delighted with the standard and quality of the hotel!
Room 419 was to a very high standard and accommodated 2 x adults and 2 x children more than adequately..... Reception, Bar and Breakfast were all fantastic
The hotel is just over the road from Gunnersbury Station and that meant we were in central London within half an hour to do all the sightseeing that our feet allowed!
Many thanks to Tom and the team for a making us feel so welcome
We will be back!!!

Class, Convenience & Camaraderie: That’s the Clayton!
Just when I thought you could not improve on perfection, the Clayton went ahead and proved me wrong! On a recent stay at the hotel – my fourth – I found the Clayton’s trademark warmth and welcome had risen to extraordinary levels. To a person, each staff member’s pride of ownership was palpable as he or she went out of their way to make me feel right at home. There was front desk manager Lina, who empathized with my jet lag and found me a wonderful room early in the morning so I could make a 10 AM walk with a friend recovering from surgery. In the restaurant, where the food stars in its own right, waiter Sabar remembered my breakfast preferences (soy milk and peanut butter) and found some prized smoked salmon for my poached eggs on my last day. And when this American realized his phone charger wouldn’t work, the night manager loaned me his own for the duration of my stay. Just remarkable. Couple that human outreach with a nearby Tube station at Gunnersbury, a swimming pool at a Leisure Center just blocks away (ideal for us lap swimmers!), and Kew Gardens a hop and a skip across the Chiswick Bridge, and you have a place that’s arguably the finest in London. There might be other hotels in London with as much class and convenience – and comfort - as the Clayton, but there can be none better.

Enjoyed a relaxing weekend with good spacious rooms and a nice clear view. Only complaint is that the bathroom was very green and dimly lit! Everything else was very nice!

We stayed in the Clayton Hotel Chiswick in July, in one of the renovated rooms. Perfect! Well appointed, spacious, light, stting area and comfortable bed. Very nice and modern bathroom. Staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent. The only negative point may be the distance to London. By bus it takes about 1 hour, by bus and underground a little less. However, the hotel is in a very nice neighbourhood, with lots of small restaurants. And we enjoyed our bus ride to London in a doubledecker very much. The Oystercard is really good value.

First rate chain hotel. Updated rooms with huge bathrooms. Good parking and comfortable dining and service. Helpful reception desk staff. Great location that lets you walk into Chiswick or do 15-minute walk to Kew Gardens’ Elizabeth Gate. Prime spot to get to airport without stayin at airport hotel - 15 to 20 minute taxi ride. Join Clayton Club for amenities.

Have stayed a number of times and cannot fault the hotel and what it has to offer. It's not the Dorchester or Claridges, but is always excellent. Best hotel in that area of London.
R. S.
Nice hotel, decent sized room, but a bit inconsistent. My TV didn't work and it's super small, yet my friends have a huge one. There's also no ice machines here. The staff seems friendly so that's a plus.
T.
Excellent service, excellent hotel efficient staff. But as a regular guest would appreciate special rate deals on parking as the car park is never full at weekends.
D. P.
Lovely modern hotel with really comfortable beds. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Quiet area but close to Overground. Would stay in a Clayton hotel again.
T. V.
My daughter and I stayed at your hotel for the weekend
Single bed was not acceptable
It felt like it was on an angle
I slept in the single bed the first night we arrived.
I had a sleepless night
Then the following night my daughter slept in the single bed.
And she found the bed to be exactly the same, feeling as if the bed was on an angle
Which caused another sleepless night.
On Saturday I went to the bathroom in the foyer and found no toilet paper in any of the cubicles.
Was not happy having to drip dry.
A. B.
One of the best hotels I've stayed in. The room was cleaned to a very high standard, the bed was one of the most comfortable I've been fortunate enough to experience, the shower was top notch and the WiFi was fast. Would definitely stay again if I ever go back to Chiswick!
t. v.
the reception was cold with the hostess during the check in. we had deal after with another hostess very warm and competent ( maybe Irina) We enjoyed the room, the bedding and the breakfast.
R. S.
Amazing hotel and not too far away from the city centre. Breakfast was included in our price and many options to choose from. Bar and restaurant setup strange as same food offered I'm both but with different wording on menu's.
K. H.
Although facing busy local road, and planes to Heathrow are flying by, this hotel keeps rooms very quite. Rooms are super clean. Front staffs are very helpful.
R. D.
Nice hotel, newly refurbished (still doing the frontage). Location is great if you have a car and need to go up/down the M4/A4 (parking free evenings and weekends on street - think £12 inside!), but otherwise not such a great place to stay to see London.
A. V.
Chiswick Clayton is a comfortable hotel covering all your basic needs. It's a good value for the nightly rate. Some basic amenity additions like wash cloths and body lotion would be great. Also, television offering is very limited, though several media companies are based in the business park nearby. Upgrading their offerings for media would greatly enhance the Clayton's overall value.
I. M.
The Clayton Chiswik is well suited for a short business trip or as a conference venue.
Rooms are spacious to London standards, as well as reasonably priced. But need some maintenance.
Breakfast is OK.
It will take you min 30 minutes to get to Westminster Abbey by car or public transport.
C. G.
Staff are excellent especially breakfast service and reception. Even the maintenance guys were friendly.
Lovely hotel, pool and spa would be a real bonus.
2 mins walk for the tube to london.
Chiswick high street about 5 to ten minutes with bars and restaurants a plenty .
£16 per day parking in a pretty secure car park at the hotel.
Would definitely be my first choice of hotel for my next trip to London
T. M.
Visited London in July and found this hotel to be a great base for a wonderful trip. Staff is very service oriented. They're only going to be around 30 mins away from Central London via Gunnersbury Station or less than 20 minutes away from Westfield White City via 237 or a few stops away from Kew Gardens.

What!!!! Wow - Well done Chef :) So I booked a rate that included a 3 course meal. Then Tier 3 Covid so the meal was non contact pick up at reception due to Covid. So look yeah, go with it. I expected it to be meh, y’know most room service is. But what a shocker! It was awesome, probably one of the best fish and chips I ever had, tasty, salty but not too much, flaky fish. Great minestrone soup and a very decent cheesecake! Have to say wowowowowoowow wow wow wow. So happy, didn’t expect it to be so awesome. Well done everybody at Clayton Chiswick, great experience, great room, staff excellent and all very safe with Covid precautions.
T. M.
We had the pleasure of staying at the Clayton Hotel Chiswick on Saturday 3rd Sep 2016 and were absolutely delighted with the standard and quality of the hotel. The location is quite good, not far from Sub station and train station to go to …
M. K.
We enjoyed our stay in the Clayton Chiswick.
Spacious room, delicious full breakfast, hospitable, friendly staff, and a busstop next to the hotel
In short: we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back next time when visiting Londen
A bit of bad luck: poor wifi connection in our room. But no problem with wifi in the reception area.
A. S.
Great service, brilliant location for coming off the motorway to park, fabulous hotel.
S. C.
Stayed several times. Nice rooms, modern and well equipment.
Food and drink adequate. Service OK.
J. S.
Love this hotel me and my fiancé have stayed here twice! Good room for money and they also serve very yummy breakfast with a very huge selection!
J. A.
Lovely hotel, really modern and the interior looks like it was recently refurbished. The outside looks like an older building but once you're inside you would never know! Staff are also really helpful there.
R. V.
Nice place, great breakfast, great and clean rooms. They made some confusion with what was included in the package , but in the end all was good. Really close to the subway and the Business Park.I will return without a doubt.
A. A.
Wine, dine and have business meetings with ease without necessarily going to your rooms yet with some level of privacy is awesome.
Neat and fresh in every aspect. Good value for money.
G. S.
As perfect as you would expect from a Clayton.
M. L.
Lovely hotel. The rooms were very modern & clean. We loved the breakfast (yum). I highly recommend this hotel.
K. R.
The Clayton Hotel Chiswick is a beautiful, spacious accommodation with several dining options (as well as several outside the hotel). It is a short walk to (but not so close that you can hear) the District Line at Gunnersbury. The staff was friendly and the rooms were cleaned well. There were plenty of USB chargers for phones, etc. and the room really was spacious enough to accommodate 3.
A. H.
Totally refurbished and extended recently. Nicely done inside and the downstairs area with conference rooms is impressive. Very often fully booked but certainly one of the better hotels in Chiswick.
R. T.
Great place to meet, chill, eat and drink. £££
P. R.
Excellent hotel with great location, recently refurbished and looks very fancy. Rooms are very spacious even for a standard room and very well furnished. Good breakfast too. Highly recommended for Chiswick and around.
R. L.
Really nice room, quiet, and well maintained. Lots of space to hang out around the hotel depending on what you want - a quiet place to work or somewhere to socialise at the bar.
C.
I stayed for 4 nights and asked for a newspaper to be delivered by 7am each morning. It appeared only once. I dined at the restaurant on one occasion and it took nearly two hours to complete my meal - the service was extremely slow, and the waitress apologised (unprompted) for it. At the end I almost had to beg the staff to take payment! The restaurant was badly under-staffed.
P. C.
What a great place to stop.
there was a good room rate deal
Brill location and spookily on checking in to my room the photo on the wall was where we had just been in SoHo!
Lovely comfy bed and pillow too!
M. S.
Great atmosphere, attentive staff who provide a fantastic service. Delicious food :)
J. E.
The presentation is beautiful, and the front desk staff were very friendly. One feller who looked like a supervisor or possibly security, gave me a very dirty look, I don't know whether it was because I was young, sweaty, or holding a MC helmet, but he gave the impression that he didn't want me in the lobby.
A. E.
We found the staff very helpfull when we arrived to a very hot room, the problem was resolved by bed time.
Food good and parking OK, we do not drive into London so use the underground, as you know this is almost on the doorstep.
L. J.
Only live 15 miles from Chiswick but wanted a weekend away with some visiting friends. We booked a family suite for the 3 of us (3 old friends from uni, now mid 40's) and were very impressed, A lovely looking hotel, great underground car park, very central location and great breakfast. Perfect
N. B.
Recently upgraded and much better for it. Clean, comfortable rooms, decent choice of breakfast. Food was a bit slow coming from the kitchen in the evening.
T. M.
Hubby, toddler and I went to stay at the newly refurbished Clayton Hotel Chiswick, which is a 4* hotel. Several dinner, pub and breakfast options within walking distance. Conveniently located to nearby Tube although does take some time to get to city centre-woth the effort. The rate was great.
T. P.
Really nice after a refurbishment. Rooms clean, good size, well equipped, quiet and very clean. Beds comfortable. Breakfast was good value and a good selection.
T. B.
Had a pretty good meal at the grill but honestly what made it fantastic was Mihaela. She was wonderful, very helpful and friendly. We had a lovely evening because of her. If you have customer service awards, she should get one...seriously.
W. M.
Very clean room, close to the tube, and work site. Friendly professional staff in all aspects. Great breakfast.
R. S.
I really like this hotel and have stayed there a couple of times. I do have a bunch of specific nitpicks starting with the shampoo/conditioner that basically inserts knots into your hair.
T. M.
Hotel is very well located for the Gunnersbury tube line. Looks as though it has recently been refurbished so the rooms are to a high standard and very comfortable. We queried it and were told that luckily it was free at the moment. Highly recommend Clayton Chiswick to every visitor.
D. J.
The outside doesn't reflect the quality & service of this hotel. The staff are friendly, the decor is very nice and most importantly the hotel is very clean.
Only issue is the wait for the food in the restaurant and meal prices.
M. S. E.
Very easy to reach from the M4. Rooms were excellent and staff very friendly and helpful, which was good as somewhere along the booking, the request for a twin room was lost. The issue was resolved as quickly as possible.
R. R.
Very nice Hotel and situated nearby shops and restaurants. Will definitely go there back again. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good restaurant.
g. s.
Modern stylish hotel. Comfy, spacious room. Great customer service and a delicious breakfast.
Would highly recommend.
A. O.
Very friendly and service minded staff. Room seemed to be clean, however a big plastic nail was found on the floor. Small but decent gym.
T. B.
I was upgraded to an executive room was very comfortable. I ordered room service which arrived very quickly and the food was really tasty. I will definitely be returning.
T. F.
We had a lovely time staying at your hotel and only wish we could have stayed longer.Everything was perfect and will definately stay there when visiting that area again. Got it for a wonderful price too.
R. F.
Courteous and friendly staff, the hotel was very clean, and the breakfast was delicious. The bed was so comfortable it was like sleeping on a cloud.
T. J.
Highly recommended, my favorite hotel in London. I personally love rooms in main building ending with 30. For example room 330/430/530 etc..
C. J. A. C.
Excellent. Clean rooms great bar and lovely decor. Staff are attentive and helpful. Great transport links on your doorstep!
F. D.
Always friendly staff and rooms great.
A. T.
Very nice hotel on the edge of Chiswick. Will definitely return.
m.
Everything worked out perfectly. would like to mention though that during my last sty at our hotel, I was booked in the seventh floor. Wifi reception on this floor is not very stable.
K. E.
It was an all around positive experience. Staff was professional and helpful shes very accommodating and easy to work with. They helped me quickly with any issue i had and were friendly. The location is very good just one block from the underground.
N. M.
The receptionist who did my check-in was absolutely lovely, very professional, friendly and helpful. Thank you.
S. T.
Everything was good
But 2 negative points :
Air con switch on automatically in the night even if I asked the reception twice to switch it off
The second negative point is that normally in the executive room we have wardrobe and slippers and we didn't have nothing
P. M.
Great location short distance from Heathrow. Very clean and stylish rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. Aoife at reception was pleasant and very helpful. Would definitely recommend.
A. L.
The room was clean enough but the bar dinner food was less than adequate and overpriced. The air conditioning was very noisy and tended to swing from hot to very cold.
C. W.
Clean good hotel well staffed I would go again.
N. G.
Rooms are nice and clean however the bathrooms in the older rooms are in need of an update. Friendly staff and do ensure you book parking when booking.
K. C.
Amazed at there size of the room and the modern facilities. Disappointed by the lack lustre reception staff who were pretty miserable and rude. The bar/café staff were friendly however.
O. N.
I usually end up staying at the Clayton Hotel in Chiswick once a month for various reasons and I have never had anything to complain about. The rooms are always clean and comfortable and far better then the majority of Hilton Hotels I have stayed in, as well as all the staff are very helpful and quick to address your needs.
I am somewhat a fussy person when it comes to hotels and this one for the price has never let me down.
Chiswick is a beautiful part of London and this Hotel is only half a mile from Chiswick’s central high street, however if you don’t know London very well and are wanting to see all the London attractions then you might want to pick something more central.
K. M.
Excellent service, sll the staff were very helpful and went out of their way to be hrlpful.Rooms were cleaned and tidy everyday ,by excellent vleaning staff.Breakfast, was served in a light and airy room with prompt service by the staff the same goes for the bar dtaff.Recommend this Hotel to all my family and friends.
C. C.
Room was great. Beds comfy and Conf rooms were well equipped. Chicken was a little dry at lunch but the rest of the food was fine
G. K.
Very pleasant and helpful staff
A. N.
Excellent place for meetings, events. The staff were very dynamic and willing to help adapt the place to our needs. Very busy so book in advance.
T. L.
The perfect place to stay at when you work at Chiswick Park. The restaurant is very classy and the staff is friendly. When booking a room, I recommend asking for the new wing where bathrooms are much more better.
I. S.
Superb welcome as a non-resident after the Denmark game - great draught cider (speckled pig?)
n.
Satisfactory, food is not great, I am afraid.
T. M.
Location: Close to different transportation option to get into London. I decided to book to see Wicked and the Clayton came up as being in close proximity to the Apollo Victoria Theatre. The same staff member checked me in very smoothly and …
A. C.
Excellent throughout. Clean and tidy, very friendly and helpful staff.
J. G.
Pretty good value for money on the accommodation. Nice rooms. Food lets it down on room service. Breakfasts were pretty standard.
T. F.
Very comfortable rooms, excellent staff great service super food menue, great breakfast.
j. w.
The clayton hotel chiswick is bar none the best hotel from the staff who will stop at nothing to make your stay special, I must give a shout out to Mohamed who was on the desk when we signed in who looked after us in a friendly and professional manner also the location is spot on and the accommodation is clean and tidy and very comfortable
A. C.
Very nice hotel. Good sized rooms. Underground parking was a bonus. staff friendly and very helpful.
R. G.
All was fine, but I cannot sleep well if it is hot and stuffy in the room. 26 degrees is too much for me. I phoned reception and was promised that they would adjust it but no improvement.
M. A.
Middle class hotel with friendly staff near Chiswick Business Park. A bit too expensive for the quality. Rooms have a decent size and breakfast is OK. Cleanliness could sometimes be a bit better
M. R.
Nice and spacious rooms, very close to Chiswick park, suitable for business stays with daily work at Chiswick park. Very limited cold breakfast (named as full breakfast), with a breakfast menu for ordering additional warm food. That makes it a 4 star for me.
I. S.
A very nice hotel. Spacious rooms and very comfortable beds. Also a really good pasta carbonara for dinner and great breakfast.
F. D.
Nice renovated room. Good breakfast. Aircondition was living its own life and was impossible to control from the control unit. Asked for 20 degrees and got 15-16.
R. P.
Modern hotel situated in one of the best locations of West London. Near M4 to get one out of London very quickly as well as to Heathrow airport. The nearest tube station Gunnersbury is just about 2 minutes walking distance from the hotel. It will take to to central London within 20 minutes or to near by Kew Gardens in a few minutes. Or use overground tube to different destinations. There are restaurant that serves breakfast with excellent choices, lunch and dinner as well. Then there is Grill bar that serves multiple variety of drinks and food. If one wishes to have more privacy they can order food and drinks with room service to be delivered to their room for their convenience. There is no delivery charge for room service. The hotel offers meeting rooms and function rooms for private meeting or celebrations as wel. Four stars hotel with five stars service.
D. D.
Stay here regularly. Great service, helpful friendly staff. Comfortable rooms.
H. S.
Great hotel. Very comfortable. Extremely well connected for Heathrow, the west end and the rest of London. Knowledgeable and helpful staff throughout
S. K. (. p.
Spacious and comfortable rooms. Great service from the staff and lots of amenities. This hotel does everything correctly.
G. L. Y.
Above average cleanliness, decoration and furniture. Room size was slightly larger than average for a London hotel. Some distance from the tube.
K. W.
This was our first stay at the hotel. We were able to park with no problems, easy check in and check out.Room was very clean and comfortable. All staff friendly and welcoming.A lovely stay in Chiswick.

Encountered rascim from white female manager. Other than that major problem, the hotel was nice, clean, and in a great location.
A.
Spacious rooms, helpful staff and good service. Had a slight issue with paying for breakfast but I was quickly resolved by the staff members
