Open 24hrs so no matter what time you come in someone is always there, check in was super easy I got my key card which allows you in the building as well as your room, the staff is very friendly, the toilets are clean and the showers are really nice with steaming hot water. My only minor complaint was the flat pillow but the bed was soft with a nice comforter to keep you warm and they're charging ports on every bed which is perfect. For the cheap price of £21 a night for an all girls dorm I rate this 10/10, I would definitely stay here again
A. Z.
Very comfy bed ! Each bed has a plug and light.
Good mattress and firm two stories bunk bed.
Great location. Bring your own towel (rent a towel is 2.5£)

Really nice staff and clean rooms. I spent one night in a 18 (mixed) bed room. Eventough it was mixed, the staff tried to seperate men and women. I felt very safe. The location was great, 5 min walk until Kings Cross. I would definitly come back!
E. B.
Super friendly stuff and overall good mood! My room was a 4-bed dorm, a bit small and the light was really dark but there was a window! I forgot my hair dryer and it was no problem to borrow one! Bathroom and showers were clean all the time 👍🏻

It was nice hostel, professional staff, but the kitchen was overheated especially if someone was cooking for longer time it was like a steam room there probably no aircondition or window. Many fridges, which was fine but no single freezer.
R. M.
Great value for money especially for a night or two but I wouldn't recommend for longer stays. the room was pretty dark and had very little airflow making sleeping in warm weather impossible. 2 of the 3 showers where broken and the one that was working could have been a little cleaner.
However the staff was great, the location was awesome and it was a cheap hostel so I wasn't expecting much.
M. J.
Place was kind of dirty, some clients were agressive (but other very friendly) and I had 2 times problem with water in the shower (no hot water or no water at all). Breakfast was not so good. Staff was friendly. Beds are good but it's noisy with the cars and ambulances passing by.

As long as you don't mind rough and ready, and sharing a sleeping space, the Clink is ideal. The toilets and showers are clean, with the latter being hot. The dining area is also clean. It was a bit of a struggle to find space in the fridges for storing food, and not everyone washed up after themselves; but with a co-op next door, you don't have to go far to find supplies.

Although not quite as funky as the nearby Clink78, which is currently under refurbishment - there is no Clashbar and no former magistrate court rooms to hang out in - it is nevertheless a conveniently located & reasonably priced place to stay. For example, a private room for 2 will cost you around £50 each per night. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean environment. Recommended.
M. C.
Stayed here on and off for the last 6 months for work great hostal and the staff are amazing and it is really clean great cooking facilities highly recommend it
A. M.
Surprinsigly, great for an hostel, and the location is Kings Cross. The toilets could be better but the kitchen and TV space is great. Overall for the price it can't get any better!!
J. C.
Cheap - clean. The communal kitchen is closed in the morning so you can't make your own breakfast. Freindly staff.

Location is the best for a journey to Hogwarts!
Breakfast is also great not only in price but quality:)
Highly recommend.

Good place to sleep for a few nights. The bathrooms are not ideal but they're decent enough
A. T.
Location and staff are excellent. The rooms are a bit cramped, and bathrooms can be dirty at times..just keep your fingers crossed🍻
T.
Nice stay but there wasn't much toilet space. The japanese reception lady seems nice and helpful
M.
Nothing fancy. The bathrooms are clean which is great. Does the job.
Would have added another star if the bed was made when I checked in.
Would be happy to stay here again.
O. S.
Clink261 was very accommodating , staff treated me very well , cleaning services did a great job and I felt safe the whole time. Would recommended anyone coming or stopping in London to stay here for a good affordable time

Lovely hostel, great location, the staff was just so nice, helpfull and super welcoming. Showers were clean and perfect temperature 👍 I stayed in a 10 bed mixed dorm, the room was small and therefore had a bit of a musty smell, only a small window could be opened. But I wasn't too bothered by it. Everything was clean and we had a sink in the room which was nice :)
P. S.
Welcoming staff, clean room, comfortable beds, great location.
Equipped kitchen.
Missed an area with a bar or something like that.
P. B.
I really liked the hostel. It is well cleaned, the staff is friendly. The living room and kitchen are great! I stayed in a shared room with 18 people and it was very quiet. I believe what they should improve are the stairs to the beds, whoever stays in the top suffers to climb. And should also have a chair to support the belongings as clothing and accessories in each shower cabin, as it does not have and is very bad, has nowhere to leave their belonging

Choose this hostel if you are looking for an affordable accommodation, in a strategic location. It's super close to King's Cross station from which you can pretty much go everywhere. I must say that the bathrooms are really small and few compared to the people staying in the hostel. Rooms are really tiny and there's no room to change, stand or do your things. However, the staff is really nice, and we met a lot of people and overall had a good time at karaoke nights and so on.

The rooms, facilities etc were immaculate and well kept. Lack of chill out space is an issue. The rooms have decent size lockers(£3 for a padlock if you don't have one). You get 3 power sources 2x USB and 1 mains in your bed space so you can securely charge your devices(phone, laptop). The beds are pretty comfortable but the ladders aren't a standard type you would get on a bunk bed and there is a bit of a drop of you don't have long legs or aren't very flexible. It can be quite hot too due to the amount of people you share with. Overall a friendly welcome and would definitely go back.
H. D.
Team nice, professional, understandable, helpful, place clean,I've been staying in about 10 different hostel in london but the Clink261 is the best hostel.good job congratulations.
K. R.
A pretty nice hostel experience for London. It has a decent sized kitchen and lounge area downstairs. The bathroom facilities were decent. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The hostel was very secure with key card access and lockers for each bed. The size of the dorms is a bit extreme though (18 beds) and means you likely won't get the best night's sleep.
A. F.
Very clean ndnicemy place when i want a rest everything in the area shops bank supermarkets close to st pancreas trains station
D. K.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
The showers could for sure be cleaner and have more shelves to put away your stuff when showering.
Our room's door kept on making an annoying noise and was heavy to open which made it a bit difficult when you wanted not to disturb others when entering or exiting. The bunk beds could've had something to assure either more privacy and/or to dim the lights others were using.
The hostel is located close to King's Cross and a lot of stores, caffes and restaurants which is convenient.
Though the general experience was good for the price, it is quite possible we would choose the same accomodation again, mostly because we like our privacy and will want to choose a room just for us.

I couldn't be more impressed. This Hostel has a fantastic staff. They provide better hospitality than some corporate hotel chains I've been to. What's really nice is the location, it's so close to everything. I literally walked to Big Ben and The Eye. I don't recommend walking unless if you don't mind it, I love exploring on foot. it's easier to use a car or public transportation. If you want to stay at a friendly spot for a few days, this hostel is a gem and worth it.
A. P.
So , good thing is staff clean every day toilet and rooms. Thanks for it. Location is perfect and safe area. Everithing what u need is around. For that price is best ,cool place. Only one thing is bad, no ventilation at the rooms so u can imagine what kind of smell it could be with 6 person in small space😂. Anyway that was a good funny time.
Thanks👍🏻
R. B.
Friendly, efficient and professional staff. Good Wi-Fi. Good kitchen, dining and lounge facilities. Comfy beds with individual power light and locker. Showers need shale or more hooks and most importantly shower heads that can adjust direction. Overall great hostel. Have stayed multiple and will return.
E. Z.
This place is a good choice if you wanna stay for a while in London, but don't have plenty of money. Breakfast for 3 pounds per day are pretty good, you always have a place to rest (a lot of lounge zones) and apartments are quite comfortable. You have your own light and power socket near your bed and beds are separated by thin walls so you get some kind of private bedroom even in room for 18 people. Don't forget your own towel and lock to save some money. Rather close to the City and there is King's cross station nearby to get distant districts.
C. P.
I ended up in this hostel due to flight disruptions, so I did not have the best opportunity to enjoy it fully. The staff was extremely helpful even late at night and its strategic location made it easy for me to reach it in those circumstances. The shared lounge was pretty cool too!
I. P.
Clink261 doesn't have the kind of buzz you get in some overseas hostels but I do find that's lacking in many UK hostels for some reason. What it does offer is ridiculously good value especially given its location.
I opted for the 18-bed dorm (because cheapskate). The bunks were comfy and clean and the lockers (provide your own padlock) big enough for my budget-airline-carry-on sized wheeled suitcase as well as my daybag. The room was a bit on the stuffy side but in fairness it had been over 39 degrees that day... If you're OK with sleeping on top of the covers, you'll be fine. I managed it for months in Bangkok in $3 a night places, so I was fine.
Breakfast is stupidly cheap at £2.50 (book in advance) for a simple eat all you can buffet. Fresh fruit, yogurt, toast and various cereals plus drinks.
Showers and bathrooms were clean (in fact looked pretty new) and I was overall rather impressed. If I can get booked in, I'll probably stay next time I'm in town, too.
G. A. D.
Great location and good staff, but the room are very small. One toilette with only two showers for all the men of the hostel is simply not enough. Great breakfast con only £4.
M. S.
Great location, near Central London ,many shops ,pub's restaurants, shops, highly recommend. Nice ,clean and tidy . Great stuff and customer service.

Cool Deco inside, nice kitchen in the basement with a lot of space, the girl from Florida who started working there was really nice, same goes for the dude from Angola.

Great central location, and the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Bring ear plug as the other guests are often loud, and a power bank as the outlets are on the opposite side of the room. But would stay there again.

About what you'd expect from a budget hostel. Lockers are provided but you need your own padlock. Towels for hire at £2.50. They provide tours and local info for you if you're looking for something to do. They also have a nice little book exchange shelf in the lobby where I traded my copy of "The Alchemist" for a copy of "First They Killed My Father". Right next door is a small Co Op if you need to buy some food/groceries.

Good place to stay. Bed could be bit more spacious. Breakfast would be good. Liked the stay.

Second time staying at 261. And as on my previous visit, good value for money, convenient location, friendly, helpful staff. The facilities were clean and overall grand. Breakfast great value and plenty choice.
A coffee machine for the up before 7 risers perhaps something to consider
S. B.
Great location near Kings Cross. Place was clean and felt safe.
Convenience stores on the way to the tube made it easy to get snacks, etc. Didn't spend much time in the neighborhood though.
Noisy from the street at night, but had to leave windows open due to the heat.
It was nice that they let me store luggage before checking in.
Breakfast options were limited. Cereal, toast and tiny pancakes, and of course juice, coffee and tea.
Would stay there again and would recommend it to others.
A. A.
Good price for value. Great location. Clean room and bathrooms. Nice stuff. Only too less space for own bath things in the bathrooms - but it is just a small detail. See you next time! :)
G. C.
The location is really close to the station and has co-op just next door. The staff were all really nice and the area was clean. The breakfast is simple and cheap as well. The only problem is the guy who stayed in the room that snore and stink (he never shower). Three people left in the middle of night because the smell and had to change room. Overall, the five nights in Click was good.
A.
I've visited the Clink261 hostel for the second time in a row now and I'm still really happy about it. The location is absolutely ideal, not more than five minutes on foot from King's Cross Station, and quite cheap for that luxury. The staff is always nice and everything is super clean and cozy. I love it!
C. M.
Very clean room, clean toilets/common areas. Great location - 2 min walk from Kings Cross Station and a Co-op (small food store) right next door. No curfew or lock outs which is great, however since people come in and out at late times you will hear it at 2am or so. The rooms get really warm so you'll end up sleeping on top of your covers with the window open. Staff were nice.
J. T.
I stayed here on November 13th. Just needed a place to rest during a long layover. Staff at the front were super friendly and helpful. I needed to print something off and they did it for me right at the front desk for free! I stayed in a 10 bed dorm, beds were normal hostel sizes, but lower beds don't have much room to sit up. Rooms were warm so I kept the windows open, but opening the windows allows a lot of noise from the street to come in. If you're a light sleeper, it may be tough. Bed was comfy and sheets were very clean. The washoom was nice. Had seperate shower rooms that were very spacious. You can get changed in the shower room no problem. I didn't stay here overnight so I had the room to myself, not sure what the social atomosphere is like but did notice that they host daily social events at the hostel. Great affordable place if you're just spending a few nights!
J. P.
Clink 261 is a pleasant place to spend the night, beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean and secure - with in room lockable storage. Bathrooms are clean and functional. Unfortunately the rooms tend to get very warm at night - the only option is to leave the window open, but then you have to contend with the traffic noise from outside. Breakfast is great value at £2 for an unlimited selection of toast, cereal, fruit, yoghurt and reasonable coffee selection (the tea is a better choice). It's a great Base to explore London from, with the British library and museums within walking distance. Overall its good... But if it would be difficult to recommend if you want a sound night sleep!
J. C.
The rooms are clean and the staff is accommodating. I made a reservation over email and the person I was talking with booked me for the wrong date so when I arrived I didn’t have a reservation. Their dorms were fully booked! They gave me and my sister a private room at no extra cost which was awesome. We had to leave early in the morning to catch out flight (before their kitchen opens) so we went down the night before to collect the food we left in the communal refrigerator. They closed the kitchen early because they were understaffed so we couldn’t get to our food, which was a bummer, wasted money and the food probably got thrown out uneaten.
J. N.
Friendly staff and a nice, big kitchen and lounge area. Showers were very small and difficult to use, however, and rooms were cramped. Not ideal in summer because there is no cooling in the room nor any windows to open
Y. M.
The stuff is good, pretty cheap and in the center of the city (that's why I choose it) but the shower is the worst one I've use in my life, the temperature never get hot enough even when it was in max and waiting for more than 5 min.. The beds are so bad as well, tiny as a piece of carpet, super flat and uncomfortable.
C. S.
It was value for your money. The staff were great. I stayed in the 18 bed dorm and it was fine except for the snoring but the staff can’t do anything about that. The bathrooms are clean but the showers are really small.
K.
Good for the price and staff are excellent, but book the rooms with more beds rather than less. The 4 bed dormitories are a shoebox, and the room I was checked into had an exposed heater right up against the bed so you have no choice but to burn yourself at worst, or sweat throughout the night at best. No windows, just a door you can sort of crack open but that's just impractical. Also, 2 toilets for an entire floor? At least in the girl's bathroom. Just two stalls, and two showers, and that was it. Again staff was great and that's not their fault but these things are just common sense so I feel the need to mention them!!
G. M.
The hostel was OK, nothing special. The location was amazing, a 5 minute walk from King's Cross Station. And easy to find. The room was very small, not so much space for 6 persons. The room also was quite dark, the ceiling light in the room was not bright. Every bed had its own plug, USB port and reading light. Mine USB port didn't work and there was a bright red light which didn't turn off. Really annoying when you try to sleep. The room also smelled funny, couldn't place where the smell was coming from. Overall the hostel was very noisy, you could here people talking on the streets, in the rooms next to mine and in the bathroom.
A. B. C.
Our stay was great! The hostel is so close to King's Cross, which makes it really easy to find transportation. The room was crowded and not very clean... But it was expected with so many people in one room. Overall, a great place to stay, friendly people and the best night of sleep I've ever had in an hostel!
J. L.
Cheap rooms, beds are functional but very basic. Bathrooms aren't great but I've seen worse. Breakfast is very good. Location is ideal, very close to King's Cross station and within walking/underground distance of most London attractions. Overall, for the price you can't really go wrong and I'd recommend staying here if you need somewhere cheap.
F. L.
it was better than i thought.
the location is good, although is not in the center, because the underground and train stations are very close. or if you prefer, the bus station is just in front of the hostal.
the room was very clean and the other guests were very quiet.
the breaktast was pretty good, i have no complain about it.
As every hostal, is better with small luggage.
i recommend it.
L. G.
Great location and close to Kings cross.
This hostel has people of all ages staying and some looked a little shady, but the area outside the hostel looked shady in general.
The doors in the hostel slam. So whenever someone leaves another room it slams and rattles the walls. The beds are so stuffed in each room theres no storage space. I ended up having to sleep with my stuff in my bed because someone was also using my locker at the time. The guy that checked me in did not tell me where the showers were or bathrooms. Overall it was okay for just a night but I would not stay here long term.
J. W.
Cheap and easy! You get what you pay for - this is a pretty good hostel that handles quite a few folks on a regular basis. The place is clean and fun, but don't expect it to be super quiet at any time.
L. T.
The beds are good, equipped each with a light as well as two plugs and two USB plugs which was very helpful for me. The TV room and kitchen are nice. breakfast is just toast and cereals with orange juice, coffee and tee but OK. toilets are mostly clean but the showers are quit tiny with basically no space to put your clothes. Over all I enjoyed the stay
C. L.
Basic, clean and quiet accommodation for short stays. 261 has no bar so if you want to socialise more you can head round the corner to Clink71, but having it quiet here is really good.
The dorms have plenty of storage cupboards that you need a padlock for-two separate cupboards for each occupant so you'd need two padlocks to secure them both.
Bathrooms on alternate floors that always seem to be quiet and fresh smelling/clean. Easy to get maintenance/cleaning issues sorted quickly too.
J. X.
On the whole great value for money. There were a few issues with the room being cramped and some stains on mattresses, and the toilets should be freshened more often. However the rooms were quiet.
C. D.
The rooms were very small, I mean super small. The bathrooms were probably cleaned regularly but the people staying when I was didnt take care, some chick left her dirty underwear on the floor in the shower. Reception is a hit or miss, sometimes attentive and sometimes never there or unhelpful. Its perfect location, right next to the trains, five guys, super markets, and a deliciois bakery. The commom room is nice, big tv and very nice kitchen. Its a good last minute place to stay but I'd probably reccomend somewhere else if you had the choice.
d. i.
Great staff, it has a bar, it has game room, it has sharing kitchen.
They provided clean fresh linen, hot shower, warm room, fast Internet.
And just after 10am there's a FREE walking tour around London, just based on tips.
And they also provide keyless access to your room by download an app "goki" so your phone will become your key. It's not only 5* hotels does that thing on commercial by Anna Cooke Kendrick.
O.
I had to say here for few days because of business.
Starting with the pros: the place is very close to King's Cross and St Pancras stations, it's mostly quite and cozy and overall clean.
Self catered kitchen is a bless.
The staff is on another level: they are polite and friendly, they are alone a very good reason to get in this place. I had the chance to talk with 4 of theme and they all were very helpful and patience with my ramblings (thank you Ellie, Mattia, Ami and Dimitri, you made my stay).
Now, about the cons:
1) The room could use a bunk bed less or two, I was in an 18 bed dorm, and it almost costed me like renting a single room in a shared house... Maybe could be good to give guests more space.
2)Even if I saw cleaners running around the whole morning, the place didn't seem as clean as desired and I could have more attention.
Overall, it's a good catch, if you book a room in a fair advantage unlike me. I would choose this place over others (like the Generator or the Clink78) because its way quiter and there aren't as many childrens running around.
M. B.
Great location within London. On 3 of 4 nights my fellow guests were quiet and respectful of each other. But on one night 3 people ignored everyone else and talked loudly and banged doors at 11 p.m. -- not the fault of the hostel of course.
I. B.
I would totally recommend Clink261 for a short stay in london. The location was really good ( 5min walk from St Pancras train station)and for a student like myself the money was well spent. Nice common space to relax after a day of walking through london, a store next door for late snacks and the showers were correctly cleaned. The dorm could have been cleaner and the air can get stuffy real fast but the sheets were clean and there was good storage for our bags. Overall good stay and the staff was helpful
C. C.
Nice hostel.Very close to St. Pancras station and nearby to fastfood and some restaurant. Bonus is, you got a coop just beside it. Secure and friendly staffs. My minor comment is just the shower and rooms are a bit small than what I expected. Otherwise, it gave us decent place to stay for a couple and night. Might consider staying here again next time.
R. B.
Really nice place for a short stay. Maybe the best bathrooms seen in a London hostel. Good cleanliness. Perfect position and staff. Smalls shared bedrooms, but small price, too.
J. B.
I have been going to friendly clink hostel for many years . Clean rooms. Reservations proved difficult but after some conversation issues were addressed . Quieter during the week and prices change , even a number of times during the day . Needs to improve recycling although there has been some progress .
C. G.
I love the Clink. Very clean friendly and safe, with a great bar. The location is also good. The bar is great. They have a lot of events going on. One of the best hostel s in London
Colin
J. F.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room and bed sheets was clean. Kitchen and public area was big, clean, and cosy. Bath room was nice but could use some hooks or baskets to let people put their clothes.
Y. O.
I will highly recommend this hostel to anyone who is on budget travel. The location is perfect. The cleanliness is top level and the staff members were really friendly and helpful. I loved everything about this hostel and haven't stopped telling my friends and family about it.
J. G.
It was fine. The rooms were tiny but clean, the breakfast only 2£ but good, only the toilets got dirtied faster than the staff could clean. I didn't like it for 4 nights, but it's okay for 1 or 2.
J. S.
Great location, easy check out and check in. Mouse in room chewed through wall. Quickly patched up my staff. Shower controls were broken. Otherwise a good hostel.

Second time staying at 261. And as on my previous visit, good value for money, convenient location, friendly, helpful staff. The facilities were clean and overall grand. Breakfast great value and plenty choice. …

Love it, the hostel is only about 5 minute walk from King Cross station, which made famous by the harry potter novel. You could find the 9 3/4 platform and take a picture there, but you need to queue though.
The check in process is fast, I share my room with 6 other people, but I find it not too crowded du to room size. Wifi is reliable, staff knows how to help us.
Breakfast isn’t free, but £2 for a complete bread set definitely worth it. Next to the hostel is a mini market which sells a lot of cheap food that only needs microwave, which is provided by the hostel. Refrigerator is also for sharing, just need to sign which one is our food.
Overall, better than I’m hoping for, good job Clink 261!!!
J. N. (.
This is good for students and young people, not very much for families. The breakfast is free and satisfying, and you can use the kitchen whenever you need to. Unfortunately the roof of the bedroom was a large window: every morning there was a lot of light and the noisies from the street.
Low price, nice staff.
n. _.
Had a six bed dorm which might've saved us because it was rather spacious. View on the road so quite noisy at night. Positive: lots of toilets so no waiting and no nasty smells ;)
Right next to coop which makes life easier.
B. J.
Friendly and secure. Guests respect each other's privacy and dorms are quite quiet. It would help if it was possible to book a specific bed, and more toilets are needed. Otherwise spot on.
I. P.
I would really recommend Clink 261! First of all, it is a nice place with a cool atmosphere. People at reception are friendly and they help you if you need it. Moreover, the situation is really good: near King's Cross Station and not far away from Camden (maybe 20 minutes on foot) or other interesting tourist sights. The area is quiet and safe and there are many places to buy food, eat or have a drink. Breakfast is only one pound and you can eat as you want. In my case, I stayed in a 10-bedded room and it was spacious, beds was comfortable and you have your own light, locker and socket.
I had a good experience at Clink 261 and I'm looking forward to visit you in Amsterdam!
J.
The Hostel was clean and had great facilities. The room was rather small and the street noise was annoying but the overall experience was great. I liked how close it was to Kings Cross Station, there was a supermarket right next to it and the staff was really nice.

The hostel is right next to the train station, breakfast is simple but nice, common areas are nice too. WiFi it’s ok, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Bathrooms and showers were proper. Room: bed was comfortable but STAY AWAY FROM THE ROOMS NEXT TO THE STREET!!! So much noise from the outside, and you can’t close the windows or it’s an oven inside. Half of us couldn’t sleep! I can’t imagine how people suffered during summer! They deifinetely need an AC
V. F. C.
despite not having much experience as a backpacker/hostel guest, the place is very busy every morning as the staff cleans thoroughly every common space and rooms. kitchen was a nice place to hang out as people cook their meals and share stories and get together. they also have washing machine and dryer which will cost you 5 pound to use combined. the reception staff is very knowledgeable of the city and when asked for directions they point you to your destination pronto. a special mention for dimitri, as he helped out beyond his duties. the place is located in the very center of london, next to king's cross station, and has a small mini market next door, very useful if you are planning on taking advantage of the kitchen and save some money.
an overall very good experience, especially if i compare it with the place i've stayed right after. thank you guys
B. B.
Perfect place if you don't mind staying in shared rooms, everything clean and organised. Friendly staff, excellent position (5' walking to King's Cross/St Pancras Stations), Wi-Fi was working.
No problem for check-in and check-outs. Individual lockers in each room, beds previously assigned (perfect when you arrive late at night!)
And, last but not least, worth the (low) price we paid!
Suggested to everyone!
h. H.
There is good use of limited space in the rooms--hooks for your clothes, space for your luggage, large lockable box.
The place is very clean and orderly.
The staff are very friendly, cheerful and helpful.
R. S.
Cheap and cheerful. Comfy beds with individual light and USB charging point. Bring a padlock as these are not provided. Breakfast is good and cheap and there is a TV room. Staff are friendly and showers are warm.
i. B.
Nice place, breakfast is excellent and very near to main bus stand and if you want to go France or Europe then you shall go there because this hostel is very near to international railway station.
A. M.
Stayed in a 6 beds room. Amazing hostel for that price. Good location, comfy clean beds, good breakfast for amazing price, nice staff. There was even a fast free Wi-fi. Overall, perfect hostel for that price. Totally rocommended by me. I would stay again at Clink.

FANTASTIC hostel. I was in a ten bed room mixed. it is very confortable and all the beds and lockers have a number. Under all the bunk beds are two BIG lockers, that you can put two hand luggages and two backpacks easily in just one. To enter in the room and inside the hostel you can only do with your card, so its very safe. There are breakfast for just 1 pound and its great! The bethrooms are separated for boys and girls. They could clean the bathrooms twice a day, despite this its very clean. They have a luggage room, and its very good.
Above all the beds have a lamp, usb and plugs so you can easily charge you phone.
l. B.
The rooms are clean and tidy. The staff was nice and helpful. However, there was a group of children on the same floor as our room, they were running, shouting and knocking all doors. Staff didn’t bother to tell them anything.
I. C.
First of all, Ami is amazing. I accidentally booked with clink78 when I meant to reserve here to stay with my friends. Ami was incredible and made everything work so I could stay at Clink261. Thanks, Ami!
The room itself was a bit musty and humid. I also wish the showers had more clothing hooks inside. I loved the free storage room, individual lockers in the reception room, and USB plugs on the beds. I also loved its proximity to King’s Cross and the CoOp store next door was super convenient.
A. L. M.
The staff at the information desk let guests often wait to keep on chatting with their other colleagues. The dorms were really cramped and the ceiling light was so weak that It barely illuminated the room. The mattrasses were outworn the hostel needs a renovation.
D. G.
Room very comfortable and clean. Staff friendly. The breakfast was ok. Only negative point the toilets that were small, old and not very clean. Location excellent
B.
Central, clean, friendly staff... All what we could wish for. Breakfast was good (Toast, jam, cereals, coffee) and the opportunity of joining a free walking tour starting at the hostel was also great.
D. M.
It was great. The room it was not as tiny as i tought it would be. The only problem was the shower of my floor that continued to flood.
The kitchen was great, the only thing that it didnt have was an oven, but there it was a microwave.
F. D.
I love staying at Clink hostels! They’re clean, there’s a plug in each bed (for charging your phone), a division between beds that gives some privacy, and a little light in each bed (so you don’t wake up others). But the best about Clink is their BREAKFAST! :)
P. A.
Everything was clean and well maintained, beds were very comfy and staff were friendly. A slight downside was that there is no cooker in the kitchen, just hobs and microwaves! Other than that it was great :)
M. L.
Friendly & smiley staff, very helpfull, good location, very clean hostel, huge breakfast for one extra pound, i highly recommend Clink261. I could stay in London for cheap in a very good quality hostel. Camden Town, The British Museum, everything is very closed by walk. If i have to go back to London i'd definitely stay there again.
E. B.
Missed the train and could clickly book for nice price a night. 18 people at room but nightair was ok Toilets and douches are clean and staff very friendly. So you miss train at st pancras and have to stay one night more. Book clink 261!!
J. D.
It's ok for the price and convienent since it's cheaper than a lot of places.
No air conditionning and with 10people in the room it can get really warm.
Not a party hostel and ok for location but you have to take the subway to get around if you are not ready to walk more than 40 minutes to the city center.
E. G.
Great location near kings cross station. Rooms are a bit small but have good lockers. Kitchen facility is nice, big and clean. Bathrooms are clean. Helpful and knowlegablr staff
A. A.
Good price for value. Great location. Clean room and bathrooms. Nice stuff. Only too less space for own bath things in the bathrooms - but it is just a small detail. See you next time! :)
M. M. P.
Wonderful place, very close to King`s Cross Station. The staff is so kind and multicultural that looks like a little family. The building is modern and so are the bedrooms. If I go back to London, I`ll stay here for sure.
L. T.
Really value for money hostel in a great location next to Kings Cross St Pancras with easy underground and rail access. Located close to many food options and also within reasonable walking distance from popular areas like Covent Garden, Tottenham Court Road and Soho. However, rooms are a little cramped and bathrooms/washrooms are really small, but still comfortable enough.
E. G.
Clink261 is a very nice and clean hostel with a great value for money. Location is excellent, and the staff really, really helpful. Stayed here for one night to party at Scala nearby, and enjoyed the rest in the hostel.
A. O.
261 is close to King's Cross which means you are near to a good number of lines. St. Paul's is a short walk away.
The rooms are clean, the lighting is OK and they have chargers w/ 2 USB chargers built into the beds.
They have luggage lock up if you arrive early or will be staying in London a bit after check out. They also have free breakfast service.
A. W.
showers were disgusting and way too small. bathroom had no power outlets for appliances . rooms were good aside from being small. kitchen needs to be open for longer hours
Y. C.
Overall, it is fine. However, my room is too small for me to open my luggage if there are other roommates need to open theirs.
J. W.
This is a comfortable, safe, and well equipped hostel that has everything that you want. The staff are excellent, the location convenient, and any problems quickly solved.
I. G. Z.
Would surely reccomend this place. Price value was great. I choose this place mainly because I needed to be close to St. Pancras international for an early train ride back home. But I was nicely surprised at how great this place was. Especially considering the price. The guest kitchen was great and the rooms and bedrooms where nice and clean. Would surely reccomend
D. J.
Very rock'n'roll design😎 Clean, quiet. 3 electric sockets over the head at the bed. Smoking and alcohol from outside not allowed, which is cool. But there is a bar for those who want to drink. 5 minutes from StPancrass. A bit noisy ij some rooms at night because of the road in front of it, but being that close to St Pancrass Eurostar allows you to stay asleep until 1.5 hr before your train. Cool place.
陳.
The best thing is that the wifi is very fast and stable.
each bed has its light and two USB charging, which is good.
Others are just simple, but considering the prize, it is acceptable.
F. E.
Nicely run hostel, and really close to from Kings Cross. Some of the guests were inconsiderate in the shared dorm however, and let the door slam at night but that's the downside of large dorm hostels, so is to be expected
S. T.
Good location- you can get nice walk to the center. Hostel in old building so in the room we' ve been was dump. Toilets & baths in the corridor- clean. Nice staf.
A. G.
Probably the cleanest place I have stayed. However the lounge is a tanning salon. They have a huge smart TV that you can only watch DVDs and SD live programmes. CONNECT THE TV TO INTERNET AND TAKE OUT THOSE STUPID LIGHTS!!
M. N.
Oh it's just lovely, really close to kings Cross station, friendly staff and all that. Slightly small rooms but they were sturdy and next to no creaking. Very nice overall.
L. L.
Above average facilities and perfect for Eurostar...
R. M.
Clean, economical, and perfectly located. Wi-Fi works great and the staff is helpful. An 18 person dorm is a little too much, but not too bad.
A. V.
This is my favorite hostal inLondon: pretty close to King’s Cross and walking distance to the British Museum. I enjoyed the breakfast a lot, and the rooms are amazing.
s. s.
Calm, Relaxed hostel. Best place for those looking a quiet place to sleep without party energy. The popular Water Rats Pub across the street is a must visit.
J. S.
I was here 21 months ago and was in an 18 bed dorm. It was ok except for the fact that people who were in the room had an annoying habit of turning on the light every time they came in during the night with no thought of anyone else.
Nicely positioned though and good prices.
P. A. B.
A good hostel, located near London St Pancras Intl and King's Cross station. 1 bus ride away from Hyde Park, London EYE and Big Ben and it's a cheap hostel in the city center.
A. O.
Great location, friendly staff. The beds have plugs and charger ports but could do with a repaint. Rooms are small so difficult for two people to move about at once.
O. M.
Cheaper than many other options. My mixed room was quite full. I could not leave my things in the room as you need to have own lock to lock the metal box next to the bed.
J. M.
I've been here last year during my short visit to London. It's a great place to sleep at if you're traveling to London on a budget.
m. d.
I've stayed frequently at Clink78 and this was my first visit at Clink261. Both are excellent places to get some sleep. And on this first experience, if you're looking for a quieter, more relaxing night Clink261 is preferable to Clink78.
R. G.
Really enjoyed my stay. Came as a group. Great location. Simple and safe lodging for a night. Breakfast provided and safe places to keep luggage.
A. F.
I think I was a embarasiing guy for the others sharing the room, 'cause I get up so early and be Back very late. So I have to appologise to them. I'm sorry. By the way, I love Londoners, because you are polite, gentle and willing to give hands to those who are in trouble, or embarassed. That's why I have visited it 12 or 13 times so far. If the others follow your way, the world would be a better place to live in, I believe. Your nation is in once-in-life danger, either way you go. I'm and many Japanese people are on your side. 'cause we respect your people. Modern Japan depends on so much on your people, government and morarity.
J. B.
+ great location, price
- should be cleaner, to small room for 4 persones, cant even stop inside when even second person is in, very uncofortable beds, really poor and dirty bathroom (should be much more space in bathroom (only one toilet and 2 showers per floor(cca 20 people),allways bed smell from kitchen
K. B.
This is a very nice and not to big hostel. It's not to pricey and it's located near kings cross st. Pancras. Breakfast is included (toast, butter, jam, coffee, tee, muesli). Very kind staff.
A. R.
Great hostel. The lift is a little cramped though. Not good for people with claustrophobia.
Otherwise, I have no complaints. Super location
E. J.
Me and a colleague where working in London and we stayed for 2 days. The staff are pleasent and the rooms where clean and tidy. I would recommend it for short stay.
M. T.
Good hostel, clean, quick check in, quite a few people still milling around the rooms until gone 0200, but can't massively blame the hostel for that, good showers.
L. P.
Good place to sleep for cheap. There is a wifi connection, TV, Wii and a luggage room. The breakfast isn't a traditional English one but really correct.
V. D.
The hostel service is nice. Bathrooms are clean. You can by travellers items like towels, padding locks at the reception
A. D.
Staying in a 18 bed room, surprisingly easy to sleep in. Check in was easy. Would recommend going for a smaller room though as it gets pretty hectic in such a large room.
c.
Stay here fairly regularly. Works well for a Kings Cross locality. Bit tight on space in bedrooms but you can work around it. Good amenities and a nice vibe!
G. B.
Some rooms are really small. the bathrooms are tiny and dirty. The kitchen is big and good, the TV room is okay, but there are no lockers in the rooms.
F. C.
I have been travelling several times to London, and I like felling still young when I stay at Clink Hostel... Lots of different peol=ple, nationality, nice staff.
See you Soon !
G. C.
This hostel is very central and excellent value for money but they definitely need to add air conditioning, especially in rooms with no windows,as in the summer otherwise rooms become extremely warm
Staff are okay, it's pretty clean, good facilities and good kitchen facilities, only gripe I have is they're not flexible on checkout time, apart from that, it's an excellent place to stay, I'd definitely recommend staying here or at Clink 78
J. L.
For the price it's a nice and confortable place.
A. B.
A cheap way to have a bed in Central London, its near the Kings Cross Station. Further you could find a lot of supermarkets. Take Sure to Take The smaller rooms.
P. L.
My house for 3 months, the best place in London. I LOVE THIS PLACE. Everyone is so kind, Mike the recepcionist is the best, beto, kevin, dimitri, fabio... The staffs, the beautiful portuguese from madeira, a florinda, o joséph... EVERYWONE so kind.. Johannes my friend
T. w. U. R.
Good place to stay. Bed could be bit more spacious. Breakfast would be good. Liked the stay.
D.
Great location, clean and a nice bed to sleep in, there are a few homeless people there but that is quite common in hostels in London
E. B.
Location is great. Close to St. Pancras train station and to the tube. You can even walk to the center in 35 minutes. Very good quality/price ratio.
Ε. Χ.
Nice location. Kind staff. Army condition of room. Very narrow. Bathroom not in every floor. Clean hostel
J. B.
No frills hostels. Great location. Many shops & restaurants around & just a short walk from St. Pancreas/Kings Cross station.
J. E.
One of the nicest Hostels Ive ever stayed at. Cool staff, clean and super friendly. Definately again;)
A. H.
I stayed one night in an 18 person mixed room. The room was clean. Great location, near to Kings Cross. Breakfast included. I'd stay again
L. B.
Nice hostel, in a very good position! The breakfast is included in the price and the bedroom are clean! Also the common room is very good!
M. C.
I had a really nice time there, the reception staff was so attentive and the place was extremely clean. I loved this place, Il be back in my next time in london for sure.
S. K.
There was a water heating problem the night i was to stay, so they offered me a better room at their sister hostel just 5 minute walk away! Really friendly and helpful staff
軟.
The room is so small. And the mattress is not so clean.
But the staff Elle is nice and friendly.
I. S.
It's an amazing place to stay when visiting London! Its central location, facilities, friendly environment and price make me recommend it to my friends and colleagues!
J. S.
Thanks Clink261
The negatives - Its a very basic hostel so it did what it had to - the lockers under the beds are so hard to get to especially if there are more than 2 people in the room, it was really difficult to store and get things out again - room had the most dim lighting you couldnt see anything at night time
Staff was not friendly
The pluses - the bed was clean and the blankets are warm and thick
The plugs and light for each bed was great also has 2 usb ports which was great
I. G. A.
Friendly staff with great location and installations. The only but I have was the giant skylight on the ceiling, which let in a lot of cold. Overall, I'd recommend it.
M. F.
Great and friendly hostel. Rooms are a little bit of small, lack of space for personal things but overall great.
B. J.
a good hostel to stay in while in london. the staff are friendly and the hostel is clean with a good common area
E. d. C. C.
Nice hostel, good value for money. I would appreciate if they did not send so many emails to the guest.
A. N. F.
Nice hotel, rooms and bathrooms are clean and public spaces are comfy. Perfect for friends or school trips.
K. H.
Good location, but rooms smelled a bit and there weren't enough bathrooms for the number of guests they had making mornings chaotic
J. T.
Good accommodation, close to the King's Cross station and the city centre. Quiet even during the weekend and bathrooms always clean.
K. P.
Very central and no issues with check in and out and the whole stay. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and the staff was helpful !
N. M.
Great location, lovely staff, royal breaksfast,...Clink261 is very clean, perfect to meet people or just take some rest. Don't hesitate!
S. D.
Bunk beds were a bit squeaky so if someone moved you could hear everything although rooms looked okay. Also booked a 8 person room but got given a room of 18
L. M.
Clean, friendly staff but rooms felt very squished - but reading light and electrics for each bed was great
B. M. J.
Great value, safe and comfortable, but if you need anything specific ring up first, don't rely on the website.
H. K.
Clean , comfortable and a great atmosphere. Great place and have stayed here 6 times now and will continue to do so.
V. D.
Clean, decent, not big but enough room
Bathroom a bit narrow, big men will have difficulties, not much space to put clothes
Breakfast food is nice
Might hear traffic noise
L. T.
Convenient location, nice atmosphere but bathroom are really really small and you can hear your neighbours in the middle of the night.
Z. M.
Good clean hostels well managed (stayed at both Clinks in London). Shortish walk from Kings Cross St Pancras.
L. A. O.
It was one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in, the only bad thing is that the bathroom were smelly
A. G.
Meet the purpose for sleeping. Don't expect something fancy because it isn't. The street is really noisy but cover the snoring of the roomates.
A. B. H.
Very peaceful place, clean, nice and quiet. The breakfast was very good, and the staff is very courteous!
R. J.
Great location. Budget hostel. Better if you go with group as it doesn't have much ambiance.
K. D.
not much space in the dorms but a clean place and good when you need a place to sleep right next to the train stations
M. V.
It was great to meet you and stay these couple of days at it. Warmth and good wishes to you.
K. C.
18 beds in one room, bad ventilation, limited use of common area but good security and location
מ. ק.
Worth the price. Good location. Clean and very nice staff. Stayed in the shared 18 bedroom and was very much ok.
J. H.
Good rooms, feels save. Credit card machine never worked during my stay
M. N.
A nice hostel, very clean and hygienic. Nice kitchen and other services. Recommended for first timers!
T. K.
Very good location, value for money, nice staff, cleanliness of toilets was ok all day but showers could be better.
M. v. d. M.
the room and the hotel was so cosy and the biggest advantage was next to saint pancras and kings cross. so immediate you can go to eurostar or to the underground. really easy.
L. C. P.
Great Hostel, second time staying there and loved it. Everything went smooth.
D. W.
Very nice and clean hostel...almost didnt rate 5 stars but there's an Indian gentleman working there who's quite rude
D. J.
Good location, price, and friendly front desk workers.
Bunk beds are really shaky and rooms are very small.
N. T.
This accommodation is suitable for the budget travellers who want to spend short stays near King’s Cross station. Recommend.
C. S.
Good location. Cheapest non dorm room you can get. Fair price compared to surrounding.
