Excellent location, room was spotlessly clean as was bathroom. Yes the room is smaller than some but the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were fantastic, nothing too much trouble. A gluten free diet was no problem. Would stay here again.

Great location with Hyde Park and the Tube on your door step. Jo in reception and the dinning room staff were friendly and helpful.
No hesitation in recommending this Hotel.

The location is amazing right by Hyde park where you can wake up and go for a run and see the sights of the city or jump onto a bus or taxi and in less than 15 mins you’re in Oxford street shopping away. The exterior of the hotel looked so grand and so prestigious it was gorge and inside the lobby reminded me holiday hotels high ceilings and amazing decor. Was very disappointed with the old style rooms that had an old style everything. The contrast is quite bad lm afraid l remember walking into my room thinking what is this? The bed is an old style bed and even the phone handset. The bathroom was also dated and unfortunately l was very disappointed as from the outside l didn’t expect the inside to be like that. A revamp could do for this venue atleast to touch up the rooms and make them feel a bit modern. I only found out the next day that one could’ve upgraded to what did look like better rooms but that wasn’t offered by the reception. Breakfast the next day was amazing the food was cooked well and went down well. The staff where very friendly and accommodating. Everything else was ok just the inside of the rooms really

This was a bit of a find as we did not previously know about the Corus Hyde Park. On arrival the hotel has an impressive check in desk and lounge area. Check in was quick and easy. The bedroom was on the small side and the bed was too but otherwise everything was in good working order. The hotel is situated near Hyde Park and is a short walk from Lancaster Gate tube station making it a good hub for getting around London. The hotel offers a great cooked breakfast which was plentifully maintained and frequently replenished and it is a big plus point when preparing a day long exploration in London. We were really impressed by the breakfast service and the staff were an absolute credit to the hotel.
We take regular short trips to London and we may now have found a hotel that ticks all the boxes.

If you want an easy clean hotel to stay at while you travel London this is the place. The breakfast is great and the customer service is very friendly. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is that the room was a little small. Not an issue if you don't plan to spend time in it.

Good hotel and good location. I particularly appreciated Mr Amara's help and professionalism. He was a great host and made our stay very enjoyable and smooth. Thank you Mr Amara.

Stayed for 3 nights. Despite an issue on first morning with the shower flooding into the main area of the room, the staff were very nice and helpful and sorted us out another room straight away and after that there were no major issues. Rooms were a little small but we were out most of the time in London anyway, bed was really comfortable too!

Absolutely delicious afternoon tea.. cakes sandwiches and scones gorgeous. no rush to get you out either, could eat and cost at your leisure..

Good & bad here. Firstly if you like uncomfortable beds with hard lumpy pillows, tired dinghy bathroom and bedroom with bulbs out, and a cooling system that doesn't work, then this is a hotel for you. 2 good points, breakfast was nice ( depending on day ) and location, very short walk from tube station, and across from Hyde Park. Would I stay again ?? If I could see the updated rooms 1st and all was working then yes, but if I had another choice, probably go.

Bought afternoon tea at the Corus Hyde Park for myself and my family. Absolutely fantastic! I can't fault it in any way. The staff were so kind and polite. I wish I had got their names. Nothing was too much trouble. The sandwiches and cakes were fresh and delicious and the tea was brewed just right. A wonderful experience for all and a wonderful afternoon. Thank you so much!

We have just returned from two nights in London staying at the Corus. Despite the room we booked not being available at short notice Vito did an amazing job to ensure we were happy and the needs of the family were met. He is an absolute credit to the hotel. The rooms are perfect and as expected for London. The breakfast was amazing. We would certainly book again. Again thank you to Vito for looking after us and making the children feel welcomed.

We booked via Wowcher and have to say that we got what we paid for, the room was nice and suitable for what we paid/wanted and kept clean. Breakfast was lovely and we were served by a very lovely waiter, I wish I got his name as he was so kind and helpful
The only negative I would give is the short haired lady on reception, very rude and openly moaning about guests very loudly. No customer service skills at all and to be honest let’s the hotel down. This is sad because is the first person you meet and in my eyes should be the most welcoming person.
Other than that we had a great stay at the chorus and the hotel is in an ideal location to tour around London.

Me and my partner stayed here for our anniversary and we could not have been happier. The service was amazing and the staff were outstanding and friendly. The food was also amazing and we could not have chosen a better hotel.

Had a lovely afternoon tea here . Beautiful hotel . Gorgeous view of Hyde Park. Staff were very nice . Food was good quality. Excellent value through Groupon

Lovely hotel in a great location. Small room but fine for our short stay. Friendly and helpful staff.

Reasonable price for a great location. It is lovely to have Hyde Park in front of the hotel. It is clean and the staff is kind. The rooms have old thin windows, so the noise of trafic during the night is not confortable. It is like a little bit decadent hotel but good for a weekend in London near the city centre main atractions.

Some good and not so good things... A fantastic location, beautiful lobby and views from breakfast restaurant of Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park across the road. Nice breakfast foods too. And every single one of the staff are very friendly and very helpful (one issue with room cleaning staff though, see below). Nevertheless we did have a number of issues with the facilities. But most were resolved. The room was smallest hotel room we've been too, and TV mounted so far from bed and small that my deaf girlfriend couldn't read the captions; when we were actually provided with this accessibility option on second day. Facilities issues follow:
when we first entered an apparently cleaned room there were used towels on floor and an empty shampoo bottle with lid next to it on side. No captions for deaf girlfriend on TV (on 2nd day they sourced us a different remote that I myself found would turn these on. The maintenance chap couldn't find the function himself). Shower head slipped right downwards - this was fixed by staff on second day quickly by tightening screw. UHT milk was off and curdled in our room's tea so I had to go down and ask for fresh ones. No advisory sign on how to use the air con. The temp display of 16° up to warmest temp is redundant in summer months and I only found out by going down on one of my multiple reception visits. This meant my girlfriend was shivering and unhappy and I had to request a second duvet. The only settings effectively are cold or switch it off. I like cold, she didn't! A few fittings are tired and in need of TLC. These are all a real shame as staff are trying their hardest with "bad tools" (except the room cleaning ones on this occasion) but with these many annoying issues it did somewhat tarnish my girlfriend's birthday weekend and we probably wouldn't stay again. Thanks though again to such lovely staff, it does make for an important factor over indifferent or rude staff! And great we could leave luggage on final day after check-out.

The staff were very welcoming, the room was small, but suited our needs for 2nights. Breakfast was excellent self service and plentiful. Great weekend stay.

Perfect located, but overpriced for the room you get (even thoughit's in Central London). I stayed in one of the executive rooms. No smart TV in the room. Small bathtub which was also the shower. It took very long to get the room cleaned. The park is right across the street, and the Lancaster gate underground station is around the corner.. pictures below is a squirrel I met at the Hyde park!

I feel the walls were very thin. We were woken and kept awake by our noisy neighbours from 4 o'clock in the morning. The breakfast weas lovely though xx

Had Groupon afternoon tea. Good value. Restaurant needs a bit of a clean and redecoration. But tea very good.

Lovely hotel and good location right opposite Hyde Park. Although short of staff all was clean, very welcoming staff & dealt with a preference very tactfully. Had a lovely 3 days. Tnx

Friendly staff, decent room with good bed and mice hot shower. Breakfast is fine

A very good value hotel for London location Not sure i woukd rate it 4 Star based on the decor but still nice and clean and a great location

Room a bit small for executive room. Clean place. Nice breakfast but need to be aware of when to replenish.

This is a great hotel with lovely staff.. especially Jordache in reception. Beware the rooms are minuscule so I recommend asking to be upgraded for free to a larger room either beforehand (speak to Jordache) or when you check-in. Try and get room 407 .. has its own balcony (can't use it though ...but the huge window brings in a lot of light) with a view of Hyde Park. Great location to pop into the fabulous Hyde Park for coffee and cake (2 minutes from the hotel) and a 20-minute walk to Kensington Palace and Princess Diana's memorial gardens (free). Being a 2-minute walk to Lancaster Gate tube and the Central line, it is so easy to get to all parts of London you want to visit. Use your contactless debit card to pay for tube/rail tickets and no more queuing to buy tickets and extremely cheaper too! Overall with the room 'free upgrade' (standard rooms very claustrophobic) I give this hotel 10/10.

Staff really nice. Breakfast delicious.

Nice clean hotel. Quiet place sleep no problem. Good bathroom. Only a bit outdated interior. Needed investment -redecoration

Lovely public areas but our room was small and didn't smell great. Located opposite Kensington Gardens and right near the tube so great access.

I bought an Afternoon tea at the restaurant in Corus London Hyde Park. It was a wonderful experience, we were attended by Nigel, who was extremely attentive and friendly. The food is wonderful and Nigel's excellent service has raised our satisfaction even further. I recommend the restaurant.

A very pleasant older hotel, good breakfast, great location for us.

Very clean place, lovely staff and great food. Was a fab experience and Nigel made it even better. He is an absolute star. The world and the hospitality industry needs more people like Nigel. 🙂 Would happily return.

Very comfortable quiet room, only stayed for one night, nice breakfast.

It's ok. Staff is good and polite and very accommodating in every aspect. The food, however, is not the best compared to surrounding venues. The views are great and you definitely get a good view of Hyde Park especially on a nice summer day as long as you don't mind heavy traffic.
Anyway I like the place and it could use some updating and redecoration but food needs serious improvements.

I'm staying at this hotel for 5 days with my daughter and granddaughter. I booked a standard family room which turned out to be just a small double room with an additional bed squeezed into the room. No space for a wardrobe.
Bathroom has no space for toiletries or for hanging towels for three people.
If the description online had been honest with their description I would have been happy to have booked the executive family room, which I would hope meets the basic requirements for a family room.
The breakfast is average, but ok and the personal very friendly.
We made the mistake tonight and tried the restaurant for a simple light evening meal. A child's portion of spaghetti with a tomato sauce, over priced for £11,95. My daughter tried the vegan salad also £11,95, sounded interesting on the menu, but was just green leaves with a little dried vegetables as dressing. Could be, we choose the wrong dishes but......
But I do have to say if you don't care about the size of a room this hotel is perfect for visiting London and all the people that work here are extremely nice and helpful. Bottom line enjoyed our stay here.

Great staff and resurant. We asked for a down stairs room for my partner on a walking frame and me on a walking stick. They gave us the Presidential Suite. Top marks.
E.
Amazing staff. Walls were very thin and had noisy neighbours but was able to move rooms. Key cards kept failing which was annoying but easily sorted. Room was smaller than I expected and thought there could have been a little fridge and maybe a bit more in the room for a 4 star hotel.
K. S.
They let us check in early, which I greatly appreciated since we had just gotten off of an 8 he plane ride. We had a standard room with 2 twin beds. The elevators were small compared to what I'm used to in the US, but I've found that most European hotel elevators, if they have one at all, are smaller so I'm sure it's normal. We took the elevator to our floor and then had to go down stairs to get to our door so if you need an accessible path make sure whoever you book with knows that. Thankfully we didn't need an accessible room.
The room was small, but clean and totally fine for 2 nights stay. The shower however was no more than 2 ft x 2ft and nearly impossible. I'm a 5'7" 125 lb woman and I couldn't even bend over to get shampoo without opening the shower door. This wasn't a huge inconvenience because we weren't staying that long, but it was irritating.
This hotel is in a fantastic location. Its a 5 minute walk to Lancaster gate and I could go pretty much anywhere in London from there.

WARNING: I have waited weeks for a deposit back from this hotel and only one member of staff has been kind, respectful, and understanding of the situation. I had a very rude man in the phone when I tried chasing them up on what’s happening and he just keeps saying “It’s not our problem it’s the banks” when I have been told several times that I would have my money soon.
If you aren’t worried about receiving a deposit back or dealing with this rude member of staff then here are the perks of the stay;
This hotels offers lovely facilities, has a lovely view of Hyde park, and is close to the tube and bus stops. It is also close by to shops, restaurants and more.

Lovely hotel staff very friendly beautiful Christmas tree in the hallway

Third time coming here. Friendly accommodating staff. Fantastic breakfast. Standard rooms are very 'standard'. We got a very small room with a tiny shower room/toilet. We have had better 'standard' in the past. If you can, book a superior room. Much bigger with bigger beds!
G. R.
Staff here are exceptional and looked after us very well. Staying on business and arriving in the room found an issue. A quick chat down stairs at reception with the very accommodating manager and we were moved room and upgraded. Customer service at its best, making sure that little niggle is dealt with and then your expectation is surpassed. Well done to the front desk team.

Really great stay here. They accommodate for any needs you have and are very polite and welcoming!

Stayed in this hotel for one night in December 2018 and chose the location due to it's close proximity to Hyde Park. Found the hotel very easy to navigate to and was exactly where we needed it to be. Found the check in process very easy and even received a free room upgrade which was a nice touch. The staff were lovely and always there to answer your questions, the rooms were very high quality and we felt it was a nice touch with the coffee machine in the room. We also had the breakfast included with our room and found there was an excellent selection and the food which was prepared was very tasty. Always recommend to friends/family who need a comfortable, convenient hotel in London!
C. S.
Only stayed one night, very nice hotel.had a business room. Small but compact. Shower was like a wet room everywhere was wet through, didn't like that. Had we been there longer I would have chosen a bigger room. Staff very nice, breakfast s bit like Piccadilly Circus, also food needed to be hotter. Wouldn't stay there again too far out.
K. D.
We stayed for 2 nights in an executive room. After reading reviews I was a little sceptical about the size of the room but fear not, it was huge. We had a super king bed, seating area, coffee machine and mini fridge with complimentary bottled water and chocolates. Including breakfast is certainly worth it. It's a buffet style service with everything you could wish for- crumpets to cornflakes, scrambled egg to smoked cheese.... we made the most of it which meant we didn't really need any lunch and just had an evening meal. We will return
A. R.
First off bi can't speak highly enough about the staff we had dealings with. So friendly and helpful.
We stayed 3 nights over Christmas 2018 and most of the staff were there the whole time. Friendly, helpful and efficient.
The hotel looks 4 star from outside and is well located. The lobby area and restaurant is good and food was good. However, the bedrooms we had, we paid for 3 were small and cold. The walls were paper thin and you could easily hear the people next door.
That said the stay was enjoyable...

A great bang for your buck! I honestly was skeptical about staying here because of the negative reviews, but I am very happy with my stay. I don't know if I got lucky, or they're just awesome but I was so greatful for them letting me check in early after my long haul flight. Upon arriving to my room I notice it was sort of small, but just enough space for me...but I definitely wouldn't of made it if my party were two or more. The hotel is dated, but it adds lovely character to it's persona and I am thrilled to be staying here. The tub is small, but I'm a plus size women and I'm able to get into the tub just fine. The beds are comfortable, and everything is very clean and kept up nicely. The location of the hotel is perfect, right across the street from Hyde Park and just a walk away from Kensington Palace. The workers are very nice and helpful, I would absolutely recommend this place and would stay here again in the future! For the price, I am so grateful for such a positive experience.

Lovely hotel. Smells lovely when you walk through the revolving doors. Just like Caroline herara perfume. 👍 Breakfast was tasty with a variety of options. Bathroom is small but serves its purpose, although would benefit from a grab rail in the shower area as nothing to hold on when getting in and out of the bath.
Bed was comfortable but could hear man talking next door on his phone and other person snoring the other side. Staff were friendly and professional. View not great from room but didn't need one. Great for taking long walks in Hyde Park literally across the road and the tube from Leicester Square onto the central line for inner city London.
Going there again with for work purposes.

Located in a busy area in front of Hyde Park. Generally the hotel works fine, specially if you’re in London on business or on a short stay. In my case, I’ve been there on a 2-day conference with my company and everything went well, starting on the staff on reception, maintenance, bar and restaurant.
Breakfast was great, lunch time wasn’t that good but acceptable. Room service works fine even at night time. The only problem was the room! I was on a Very small room with capital V! The bathroom was also tiny and for a 6 foot 4 person like me the shower was unbelievably small. The wall is even inclined which makes a bit difficult to complete the task. Despite that, the room looked as new and was comfortable enough though!
b. n.
The location of the hotel is excellent. it is across beautiful Hyde Park and yet so close to Oxford Street. The room I was given was large enough for two, it was clean, it had all the necessary things one would want in a hotel room and more.
The staff at the Reception, Restaurant, Concierge and Housekeeping were all very helpful, courteous and friendly.
The breakfast spread every morning is really good with a very wide selection to choose from. One is really spoilt for choices at breakfast. Despite the large number of guests not wanting to miss breakfast, the staff are always quick to ensure guests are served promptly. One very helpful and friendly staff member is Christophe.
I would certainly go back to Corus Hyde Park when I am next in London and I would highly recommend this hotel to all my family and friends.
K. R.
Nice hotel at a reasonable rate! Room was tiny but pretty usual for a London hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Could kill yourself getting in and out of the bathtub. It was super narrow and deep. I am reasonably fit and it was tough. Would be better to have a shower cubicle. Would stay again. All in all good value.

This hotel looks 1st class and is in an excellent location. Breakfast was superb too. The bedroom we were given, however, was not up to the 4 stars standard of the hotel. It looked nothing like the pictures of more modern rooms advertised, the bed was so soft I sinked in and slept badly and you can't take the shower off the wall. The plumbery in the bathroom was old and battered. A pity as a nice room would have made a difference.
m.
Very good hotel, our room was nice and clean. We can find everything what we need. Delicious breakfast, you can choose what you want because lot of product’s. I recomended this place.
J. G.
Nice, but very small rooms and no view
C. G. L.
Good location. Standard double rooms were too small for the price you pay for it but the bed at least is comfy and smooth. Bathroom is like a cage, hipertiny! Although everything was clean and nicely decorated (no old paints in the wall), the lack of space makes you want to get out the room fast before dying suffocated mostly if you are not alone because the lack of ventilation creates a highly warm and humid atmosphere.
R. D.
Rooms are incredibly small, even if you go for a double deluxe they are tiny. The restaurant is small but has a nice conservatory feel. I dont think it represents what you expect from a london hotel, it is good for people who are just stopping for a day. Though for the same price you can get better at other hotels

This was our second visit this year. Our room on the first visit in March was very small even though we had booked an executive room. The stay was only for one night so we didn't mind too much but mentioned this on checkout. The very helpful reception staff ensured us we would have a better room this time. Check in was good again and although on the same floor as previous the room was much larger with a lovely huge comfortable bed. We overlooked Kensington Gardens which was great but as on the top floor could only see out when next to the windows. Room facilities were very good with quality coffee maker, water and complimentary chocolates in fridge, very nice touch for a London hotel. Bathroom was small but again good range of complimentary toiletries. The only let down was the shower, poor water pressure so not much more than a trickle. All staff brilliant,so friendly from reception to housekeeping to the restaurant, made us feel really welcome. Breakfast fantastic, plentiful good choice for all tastes and in a lovely light dining room too with views to Hyde park and the gardens from many tables. Excellent position,we were attending concerts at the Albert Hall so very easy to walk through the park. Will be even better once Lancaster Gate tube station reopens. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel for a London stay.

Not really 4 Star, but clean and friendly. Okay for a short stay in London

We booked a theatre and hotel break for ourselves and our daughter. The hotel's staff made the whole stay very relaxing and stress free. The room was set up so that our daughter had her own private sleeping area and the room was immaculate. We ate at the hotel, as they knew we had a show to go to they insured service was quick and even warned us that a particular dessert would take a quarter of an hour to prepare. All food was prepared fresh and well presented with wonderful service and flavour. Even at breakfast which is a buffet, they were quick, efficient and most importantly friendly and helpful. We also left our bags with the concierge in the bag store after booking out so that we could have a day in London before heading home. The hotel's location next to the park and close to the tube make it a wonderful place to stay.

Excellent location. Small twin ensuite bathroom, more than adequate. Kettle, iron and hairdryer in room. Comfy beds, air con a Godsend in this recent hot weather. Didn't dine in but the Bistro bar staff were very friendly.
C. H.
My stay at this hotel was not the best. Do not misunderstand, I do not think it's a bad hotel, but its doubtful I would stay here again.
I'll start with the good: the staff were nice, though my interactions with them were minimal. The location is very nice as well, near enough to Paddington Station to walk and with Hyde Park close by. The breakfast was also good, with plenty of options and good quality food. These two things alone are what kept my rating a 3-star instead of a two.
Now for the bad: the room. Almost everything about it. The location was odd for a start. Room 1013. Literally next to the lift doors on the 10th floor. Not across the hall or around the corner. I mean as soon as you stepped out of the lift you could reach out and touch the room door. It was such an odd spot we almost missed the room the first time we went up.
Due to this location you to hear a lot. Everyone getting on or off the lift and worst of all, you got to hear what must have been the lift machinery in the ceiling/walls. Mechanical bangs could be heard almost all night until people stopped using the lifts. And I don't mean soft hums or muffled bangs. I mean noises so loud you could almost feel them in some cases. I'd say you actually got some peace & quiet between about midnight and 5am.
On top of that the room was fairly small, but not unbearable. The bathroom did not have its own light switch. You either had the lights on in the entire room and the bathroom or no light in the bathroom at all. It was very bizarre and made using the toilet at night interesting since turning on the lights would mean waking up the rest of the room.
Now, you could say that I should have mentioned all of this to the staff and demanded a room change or something of the sort, but that's not the point, is it? If my family and I didn't get saddled with this bad room, someone would have. And people should know that the hotel has some bad rooms.
If you get a good room I'm sure this hotel would be a much better place to stay, but since I don't think you should have to cross your fingers when booking a room to hope you get a good one, I'm not inclined to recommend the hotel and its doubtful I'll be staying here again.
L. H.
Lovely two night stay with my friend. The twin rooms were a little bit small but for the money were fine. Good location over the road from the park. Didn't have breakfast as we had breakfast in Italian Cafe literally just over the road in the park which was pretty. Hotel check in and checkout very easy and quick, all staff very helpful and friendly. Housekeeping very good and clean. Would recommend.
E. C.
Love the hotel because it is very Central to a underground and Paddington station. Rooms were fair. It's not 4 stat but not a 3 either. Rooms are a little order and need a refresh. But for the price and location we enjoyed our stay.

Ive been here many times during tour in london. Love this hotel and i think the best one so far to compared for other place, price and location! The staff was so helpful and i wish they put more security for the hotel... So that the guest will feel more safe during their stay.
Thank you😊

Really convenient as very close to the tube. Very friendly and helpful staff. I was alone on business and so my room, with a double bed, was a good size, but I can see how it would be a squeeze for two. Breakfast was excellent, with a good range from continental meats and cheeses, to full English buffet, through cereals, yogurts and fresh fruit.
J. R.
Slow to check in. Once checked in, we got to the room which was dark and smelt strongly of paint. We asked to change and the staff were very good and apologised for the smell and ensured we moved to a better room. Perfect location close to Hyde Park and the tube station. Great nights sleep in a comfy bed. Just a shame check in isn't a little speedier.

I spent my 3rd visit in the Corus in December 2018. Hopefully it's my last. Since when have the Standard Doubles been the size of a wardrobe? The previous 2 time I stayed at the Corus I had a large room with a small fridge. So this time I thought it would be a good idea to bring a one year old. There was no room for him to play and there was no fridge to keep his milk cold. The bath couldn't hold it's water which made bath time for the baby harder than it should of been and the travel cot provided came with a pillow and the smallest/thinnest blanket ever.
The only thing that kept my stay comfortable was Mario the Concierge at the hotel. Mario is an asset to Corus Hyde Park. He was very helpful to carry some of my luggage up to the room, Provided us with the use of his own fridge to keep the babies milk cool and provided us with suitable bedding for baby. Without Mario my stay would have been awful.
Due to the size of the room and the facilities I will have to attend a different hotel next time we stay. Although for business travel or a weekend away with my partner I would like to use Corus again.
Thank you Mario for all of your help, Have a wonderful Christmas and a fantastic new year!

Ours was a last-minute booking and we were likely in one of the smaller rooms, but the accommodations were very nice. Linens, towels, and toilet paper were of good quality. Five power outlets along the desk (two above, two below, one near electric kettle). A hair dryer was located on a hook near the desk as well as a trouser press. The lavatory was very small and cramped but functional for a single person at a time, but no counter space save for the toiletry shelf. The concierge and front desk staff were wonderful. The interior was clean and well maintained. The bar and restaurant appeared to be clean and well maintained as well but we used neither. Easy few minute walk from Lancaster Gate tube station and tour bus stops. Hyde Park is directly across the street but a few blocks from an entrance.
M. G.
The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is pretty much central to everything a visitor would want to see. A tube station is a block away, Hyde Park is beautiful and is just a few steps away. That's the best the hotel has to offer. The room was decent and the bed was comfortable, but it was terribly small for two people. The room service was, seemingly, non-existent as the only thing they seemed to do was swap out soap and towels. Trash that was left for them to take was left. The hallways smelled of musty carpet. The lobby was very nice and I was very hopeful when I saw it, but the stay was just ok.
J. B.
I have stayed at this hotel many times on business because it is very convenient situated close to Paddington and Lancaster Gate tube.
This visit I was given a very small room. Just enough room for a bed, desk and miniature TV. For one night this would have been fine but laying on bed I noticed the desk edge was very dirty (see photo). I complained to the duty manager and he acted very quickly and even offered to move me to another room. Quite frankly having unpacked it wasn't worth the hassle so I accepted a bowl of fruit and bottle of water with thanks and the room was cleaned quickly whilst I had dinner.
Another anoying feature of this room was the illuminated light switch to the bathroom. I had a very disturbed sleep, the bedroom was lit up like Blackpool Illuminations!
I think I was unlucky on this occasion, because every other stay at this hotel in the past has been fine for a night or two. Just be wary of the broom cupboard!

A reasonable hotel in a good location but the rooms need updating.
The size of the room itself was small but typical of historical buildings but the water pressure and heat for the shower made it almost unusable.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Room only so can't comment on breakfast but evening meal at restaurant was good and well priced although £6 for a pint of Diet Coke is just crazy even if it is London.
So many places to eat around that area though I would recommend getting out and about if the weather is good and you are able. Hyde Park is a real treat to go for a walk, run or cycle.

Beautiful accommodations and the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Love this little jewel of a hotel. Literally a few hundred feet from the Tube station AND Hyde Park, yet so very peaceful and convenient to many good eateries. Highly recommend!!!

Nice hotel, reviews make it sound like the rooms are miniscule, but were average size for London.
Great location for business (2 minute walk from central line)
Breakfast was pretty good too!
Note they held £120 from my bank account as a deposit.

This is a four star hotel, in a popular part of London. Compared to other for star hotels it does as well as the others, hence my rating. The staff were very friendly and helpful and my room was of a generous size and quiet, if a little dated. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Warm and well situated hotel.
Coming for a business trip, u have high speed internet everywhere, class this small rooms, impeccable linen and a bar to share a drink once done with ur day! A welcoming and friendly responsive team making sure your stay goes its best. Will definitely book again

Staff was helpful and it was a pleasant environment to stay in for our anniversary. Very pleased with it

Great place to stay staff are so friendly and helpfull. The breakfast WOW delicious 😋

Great location at Hyde Park near Lancaster gate underground station and a couple of local pubs. Large lobby with good front desk and concierge services-very helpful and professional. Full English breakfast buffet with lots of other choices including curry and rice. Room are small but efficient with large desk area, and best of all a/c. Would stay here again.

Great hotel and staff, will stay again.

I’ve said it once to my friend and I’ll say it again: I’m truly not sure as to why Corus Hotel, HP has a bad rep on some of these sites. My friend and I stayed for 5 nights and had a pleasant experience (granted: we were on vacation and only in the hotel for sleep). The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms really aren’t THAT small (I guess if you’ve stayed at the Ritz Carlton, you may want to avoid this place); my friend and I are the epitome of Americans and fit fairly well on the beds and had plenty of room to walk around each other and our open luggage (But repeat: if you’re looking for a 5-star luxury stay and aren’t attempting to save money, this isn’t the place for you! Go in with the mindset that the hotel will meet your needs). The breakfast is not free, but luckily 1) their food has a good reputation and 2) there are PLENTY of food options within walking distance of the hotel (including a lot of other tourist hot spots!!). Ultimately, I enjoyed my stay and it’s convenience to everything. If I were to return to London, I would stay with Corus!
C. B.
Great location overlooking Hyde Park and a few minutes walk from Lancaster Gate tube station. The breakfast is good. Room descriptions are a bit misleading. We had a "business" room overlooking the park. Quite small with a wetroom for a bathroom. Quite impractical as the water from the shower flows across the floor and soaks everything! We have stayed here several times and will do so again.
L. M.
Rooms are quite normal, small and comfortable compared with hotels of these quality in my country. The hall is amazing, with sofas, newspapers, live piano music...The breakfast is huge, big, delicious and complete. You can eat whatever you want.
C. R.
The hotel itself is nice, the lobby and bar is beautiful and the staff are beyond accomodating! I can't compliment the staff enough. What lets this place down is the rooms. I was staying on the 5th floor, the rooms are tiny and the bathroom is even smaller, you can barely fit in and close the door. The bath didn't drain after showers and took almost half an hour to fully drain after a bath. When I arrived the aircon was off and the room was freezing, even after having it on for a whole night (warm setting and high fan) the room was still cold.
To summarise, the hotel venue is great, the staff are amazing but the rooms are a huge let down
A. W.
We came here to eat whilst we were staying at a nearby hotel. Staff were exceptional!! Food was fantastic (rump steak and lamb curry) and priced similarly to a nearby pub. Hotel reception and restaurant was immaculately clean. Cannot praise the place enough for quality of food, value and service.
A. G.
This review is for the restaurant in Particular, The Brassiere and the afternoon tea I had the chance to partake in! My significant other and I were visiting from the States and we absolutely had to try afternoon tea, I looked on Groupon and found this hotel with a great deal for their afternoon tea. The service was WONDERFUL and Ioan definitely went above and beyond in his level of service! The entire experience was definitely a highlight of our trip! The sandwich’s were ok and pastries were great but the lavender and hibiscus tea that I had was AMAZING! So amazing that I’ve inquired about where and how to purchase it for my home. Would definitely recommend! It’s a little out of the way but not hard to get to and there is a wonderful view of Hyde Park from the tea room!

===Context===
Have stayed here for one night twice when arriving late at Heathrow
===Pros==
Thinking of most recent stay:
Small but well appointed room
Friendly concierge
Good breakfast
===Cons===
Noisy with window open
Bathroom at a lintel running at shoulder height along the length of the bath. Couldn't stand up to shower without hitting it. Repeatedly
===Feature===
Bathroom light switch was a button from calling a lift
Get the impression that the rooms might vary a lot and I've only stayed in the lower end of the rooms
Bedroom had steps up to get to the door
===Conclusions===
For a short night's sleep, would be fine staying here again in the future
J. A.
A bit too expensive for what you get (quite a small room, with almost no noise cancelling). The location is quite nice, a 3 minute walk from Lancaster Gate underground station.
Personally, haven't tried room service as the prices were a bit too high for me.
Wi-Fi speeds very fast, probably the fastest I've experienced in any hotel (3 to 4ms, can't remember the exact download and upload speeds, but above 100 Mbps).
The staff is extremely friendly, no complaints about cleaning either. Definitely an improvement from what I've seen on here.
Many restaurants nearby, highly recommend the Italian restaurant Bizzaro as well as a pub called The Swan. The closest grocery stores are at Paddington Station (M&S and Sainsbury's).
M. L.
This is a really lovely the hotel team members are so nice and the rooms clean and big. We were three person in one room and one of us did like to sleep longer and then we cut just slide the sliding door to the side and turn on the light. The toilet was really great and the bath top was clean and work well
K. C. (.
Great location for walking/public transport, great views, comfortable beds. TV was a bit far, but oh well. Good sized room. But please get signs for how to exit if your lifts aren't going to work! Took five minutes to get off our floor.

I stayed in early May, 2017.
Our hotel room was very clean. The size of the room is fair at best. The room appeared to be a little rundown, but definitely more than acceptable. The view wasn't anything special, it was simply rooftops of other buildings near by.
The room we were given was unfortunately placed in between multiple elevators and the stairwell. At night, and early mornings it was noisy as you could hear guests entering and exiting the elevators, along with the beep that notifies you that the elevator has arrived at its destination. The location of the room was definitely the biggest frustration, and the main reason why I wasn't able to give this hotel a four star rating. To be fair, we had to check-in late due to a flight delay earlier that day.
The lobby of the hotel is fantastic. The decor is amazing, and the pianist playing during the evenings is a nice touch. The staff were extremely helpful, and made my family and I feel very welcome throughout our stay.
The location is fantastic. It is very close to Hyde Park. The Swan is a pub a few minutes away from the hotel - I'd definitely recommend dining there. The hotel is very close to Lancaster Gate station - unfortunately it will be closed until July 2017. You're going to have to take the underground to either Queensway or Marble Arch to get to the hotel.
Overall, the hotel room was very clean, but somewhat rundown. The location of the hotel room we were given was mediocre at best in between multiple elevators. The location of the hotel is outstanding! There are multiple underground stations, pubs, restaurants, and Hyde Park just a few minutes away.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone (with the exception they ask for a room not by the elevators)!
P. R.
Five star location, but rooms show their age and you must appreciate the quaint English windows and plumbing to fully enjoy your stay. It's worth making the effort, as the hotel offers a rare glimpse into what a grand London hotel was like before corporate culture ruined most of them. A real English breakfast, the Sunday papers and a nice coffee in the conservatory overlooking Hyde park with the sun shining in filtered by the leaves of the huge trees lining Bayswater road is not to be missed. Heartily recommended for all who appreciate English culture at its best!
C. L. C.
Our first room was too awful for words , however I must give staff credit as they moved us and it was far more pleasant. I didn't think it's 4 star rating was warranted at all. Breakfasts were good....
R. B.
Rooms a bit small but nice staff good breakfast
J. W.
Superb location for exploring London, impressive entrance, spacious room (especially considering the city centre location) and great breakfast options. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly; we intend to return next time we're in town... hopefully for longer.
g.
Really nice place to stay, all the staff were fantastic, the rooms were clean and tidy, and very good quality linen. However, the room we stayed in was close to an elevator making it quite noisy. Also, the room was in need of redecorating, but not unpleasantly so. Overall, great value, and a fantastic location
T. M.
The hotel's location is very good being near to Lancaster Gate Tube station. Opposite is the Hyde Park.We were given the executive rooms which are spacious and clean with ample facilities including coffee making machine. The breakfast spread …

Wonderful place to have afternoon tea. Didn't stay inside the hotel but the staff were very helpful and pleasant to talk to. The general look of the hotel feels very warm and welcoming.
The location is great because it's next to the park and also close to the tube.

Staffs are friendly,
Hyde Park at your door step,
Twin bedroom has a standard size but clean and quiet... 😍
Breakfast is a typical continental menu,
Unlimited FREE wifi,
Can leave your baggage at no cost,
About 10 mins walk to Paddington Station
Close to shops and restaurant..
Love to go back!

Great location close to Hyde Park, Notting Hill and the Central line. Very happy they could accomodate my request for a bright room as I appreciate day light to wake me in the morning.
(I did book an “Executive Room”)
Interior wise, this is not the most modern.
Great hotel for the price and for a 4-star hotel. Will definetely rebook and recommend.
A. A.
Reception is very welcoming. Although we were waiting 20 minutes to check in. Rooms are properly equipped, no slippers and robes . Location is super. The only big minus is room space. So small!!!
M. C.
Really helpful doorman who informed me of the cheapest parking, lovely hotel from the outside and impressive reception but it stopped there really. Our room was tiny and extremely basic. Comfy bed but the window didn't close properly so it was freezing and the wooden shutters didn't meet together so left light shining through. The bathroom was very clean but the shower head didn't move from a position that not even a child could fit under so my boyfriend had to adjust that high enough to stand under then the shower head was constantly in a fixed position and did not heat up enough. Had really good links to central London and staff were friendly. The lifts were the most annoying part. Even when no one was on that level it stopped at every floor! Nice hotel if you wont be in your room much!
L. B.
We stayed here for two nights for our sons 13th birthday. Usually we wouldn't afford to stay in a hotel like this but we saved hard.
The lobby, lounge and restaurant has a wonderful ambience, especially in the evening when the pianist plays.
We'd read reviews about tiny rooms but our room was quite spacious and very clean.
Special mention to the Romanian waitress (sorry I didn't get your name). She was so lovely, especially to our son who finds social situations very difficult. She bought him a complimentary desert with a candle in it - made his day!
S. R. R.
Historic building, so don’t expect a lot of space in the room though it’s comfy. Staff is top notch, from front desk to concierge, to bar tenders and restaurant waitstaff. We arrived 4 mins past closing for breakfast one morning and they were kind enough to allow us to fill plates before they cleaned up. Location is ideal. Steps from Lancaster Gate Underground and Hyde Park (which is flipping amazing). Only downside is they do cut the air conditioning off in your room during the day and so it’s stuffy for a bit on late summer afternoons. The windows do crack open so that helps!
I. D.
Pretty average. Small rooms, dinky TV that's miles away with sounds quality no better than a mobile phone, plumbing problems (toilet kept blocking and sink and bath took an age to drain). Frankly could do much better.

Fabulous afternoon tea. Staff friendly and very polite. Requested no alcohol in cakes and non meat sandwiches. The chef prepared a special dessert to replace the one that had alcohol...was delicious. Very thoughtful of the chef. Staff member explained our afternoon tea and food contents.
Very comfortable and wasn't at all rushed. Would highly recommend.

We stayed for two nights in mid February. The hotel is well located on the north side of Hyde Park and a short walk from Lancaster Gate underground station. We were upgraded to a good sized room at the back of the hotel on the 9th floor. We were offered a room overlooking Hyde Park but chose one at the rear as we thought that there would be less traffic noise. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet although parts of the bathroom were looking a bit tired. There was a good breakfast buffet with plenty of choice and the staff were always approachable and friendly.
We got a Travelzoo offer which made this hotel great value but overall I would recommend it anyway.
T. B.
Good location, around the corner from the central line. However, the room was only moderately comfortable, with poor temperature control that only cooled and was hard to manage. The beds were good, but not great in terms of comfort. Staff was competent, but didn't seem to go out of their way to offer any help.
N. R. G.
Nice. Clean. And breakfast is best breakfast I've ever had. So much variety, from continental to Asian to full English. Gluten free and dairy free options . Life piano every evening. Lovely place. We will be back :)

Booked my break to London through super-breaks. Very impressed by Hotel Corus cannot find one bad thing to say about it. Bed was comfy, room clean and hotel aesthetically pleasing. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. Perfect location for Winter Wonderland and would definitely recommend.
G. E.
Had afternoon tea. No background music so no atmosphere. No heat so was freezing the whole time. Scones were nice but sandwiches were dry. The flowering tea was not in a glass pot as advertised, so sent back. Service was ok but we have had better. Would not recommend. Glad we had a voucher and did not play full price
A. S.
I stayed at the Corus on the 9th floor. I was welcomed to the hotel politely and quickly checked in. I found the room clean and functional, but smaller than other hotels I've stayed in around the area. The bedroom area was just about comfortably sized, but the bathroom was very small, with the shower about 1 meter square and a bit of a squeeze to get in and out.
Road noise was noticeable, not unusual for London hotels, which is why I use earplugs.
So an entirely adequate stay.
A. C.
Place is perfectly situated close to Paddington train station and Lancaster Gate underground tube station and Queensway. Hyde Park is directly in front. Nice, big lobby. Great breakfast. Rooms are extremely small and a bit dated, but that's standard for London. Samuel, the night manager made our stay a wonderful experience. He went above and beyond to cater to us and make sure we were well looked after at all times.
S. M.
We had a lovely afternoon tea here at Christmas time.
We bought two vouchers via Groupon which represented great value for money!
The food was plentiful, nice selection of teas (unlimited!) and nice atmosphere when by the window across from Hyde Park.
The shining star during our afternoon tea was our kind and friendly sever, Najat, who was so helpful, chatting to us and offering assistance anytime we required it, even taking a lovely photo for us at our table. She is truly an asset to this hotel and I truly hope Corus recognises her for the warm, genuine, friendly service she brings to the table :)
Only negatives would be the atmosphere in the dining area away from the window could be improved as it's quite dark, so definitely ask for a table by the window. Also, toilets could be cleaner. But this in no way hampered our overall afternoon tea experience as everything else was wonderful.
Will definitely be back in the future!

A stellar location, friendly & helpful staff, and very reasonable rates if part of a travel package via Expedia or the like, will help you overlook the small rooms, tiny bathrooms, and bathtubs the size of gravy boats. But who comes to London to hang out in their hotel room anyway? And did I mention the stellar location? Right next door to the Swan pub, just down the street from the Miter pub, around the corner from the Lancaster tube station, across the street from beautiful Hyde Park, and a ten minute walk to Kensington Palace. A nice neighbourhood all around.
A. E.
The location was very good, only 5 minutes walk to the Lancaster Gate tube stop on the Central line, and right across from Hyde Park. The area is not super busy, there's a nice pub right around the corner (The Swan) and it's to get around. The room was very small and modest, a bit out dated. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
T. M.
There had been some plaster repairs in the bathroom that could have been painted over to not be so obvious. The waiter Frank gave excellent service. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. We would return to this restaurant again given the quality of the food we had.
M. C.
Nice enough hotel rooms nice if a little bijou, shower head not stiff enough to hold its position, bed nice and comfortable, room was hot had to have the AC on to keep cool, but noisy. Bar was quite expensive however it is central London, right on Hyde park and within 100 metres of the Lancaster gate tube station, overall it was probably the best I could expect and I would stay again.
R. A.
The hotel is 10-15 minutes walk from Paddington station and is within easy walking distance of a variety of eateries. It is situated on a reasonably busy road and even from my 5th floor room the traffic noise was a little loud. However, it was not so excessive as to impact on a good night's sleep.
The room itself was perhaps a little smaller than the double rooms of some hotels, however there was sufficient space for me and I feel there would have been if there was another person in the room. The facilities were perfectly adequate though and included everything I could reasonably have expected.
The staff were friendly, professional and efficient and responded quickly to all requests. Unfortunately breakfast was not served until 7 am and I had to leave at 6:45. A breakfast box was provided on request, the contents of which were sufficient if uninspiring.
Sitting for an evening drink in the hotel bar, customers were treated with continuous live piano music and staff were eager to cater to the requirements of everyone. My overall experience was excellent and whilst recommendations are not my thing, I would certainly suggest this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Paddington area.

Not the best place to stay in London
Rooms are small and old. Our hot water didn't work. Neither did the others in our group. They changed our room but wouldn't upgrade or refund for the inconvenience.
M. V.
Perfect location for our visit to winter wonderland. Friendly staff on the desk, and lovely complimentary room upgrade as we got married recently. When we got to our room they had set the bed up with roses and towel swans , lovely touches! 9th floor at the side was quiet for us however my parents had 9th floor facing Hyde park and got very little sleep. The breakfast wasn't included but we were very please with why we got for £12 each, sit downstairs it is quieter and more personal , upstairs you are surrounded by the queue of people. We will definitely come back here when we are next in London. Thank you
J. G.
For English standards, the rooms are spacious and include all amenities. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
Location is excellent and close to Paddington station (Heathrow Express).
We also had breakfast at the hotel, but found the selection and quality below what we are used to.for this type of hotel.
T. M.
Excellent hotel in great location. I was traveling alone, stayed in a single room for eight nights and felt very safe. Every member of staff I came into contact with was friendly and helpful. For me best part of the stay for us was the location of the hotel which was ideal.
M. N.
We just got home after a week long stay at the Corus Hyde Park. We were a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 younger children). We stayed at one of the viceroy rooms (7th floor). It was very quiet and roomy for the 4 of us. The bathrooms were sufficient for our use (small sink but thats fine with us). The morning breakfasts were amazing. The staff accommodated our requests for hot chocolate and on the morning of our departure (very early), they packed some boxed breakfasts for us as well which was much appreciated by the kids. The location is absolutely amazing. Its about 3-4 minutes to lancaster gate station (central red line). and the park is just a minute away across the street. We often spent our evenings walking across to the park for long walk. Overall this has to be one of the best hotel stays we have had in a long while. Looking forward to staying again on our next visit to London.
C. M.
The room with two twin beds was bigger than what we thought. Clean and comfortable. Amazing location! The people in the front desk gave us recommendations and helped us with special requests.
A. K.
My friend and I had an afternoon tea here. We had a voucher so the whole thing was very good value. The sandwich tasted fresh, the desserts not as much but they were still tasty. The waitress got our tea order wrong at first, but quickly fixed the mistake. Overall, a nice afternoon out.

Reception lady very rude made us feel unwelcome
Although Mario and Izzi were amazing ! Very kind and made us feel welcome again
Manager Jamal was also amazing he delt with our situation perfectly as a manager should do and he really changed our opinion on the hotel.
If you visit here I highly recommend speaking to Mario, Izzi or Jamal they will do everything possible to make your stay as welcoming as they can
C. M.
The only reason I’m giving this hotel 4 stars I lost one for the room but staff were amazing and the location which is amazing. It was the room the room made no sense it was supposed to be an executive room but was so disjointed the bed was pushed up against the wall which meant the second person had to leave from the bottom of the bed the lighting situation was weird there were different switches for different lights are not all the lights could be switched on or off by one switch and the light switch beside the bed turned on to the brightest halogen bulbs directly above where you were sleeping and there was a weird separate button to switch on different lights in the bathroom the main switched on the way into the room switched on the main bathroom light but the one above the bath and the one in the shower were off a completely different switch it was random as hell and the constant resetting air-conditioning that kept resetting the room back to 28° when all I wanted was 20
H. M. C. T.
Breakfast and dinner are fine. However, the Malaysian cuisine in the restaurant is not delicious at all. Rooms are quite small but clean. Most of the staffs are nice but some of them are quite unhelpful.
V. M.
Rooms are small and dated but cosy and has all the necessities. Good showers despite small bathroom. Hotel staff very friendly and location is perfect for the Central line tube stations.
D. Y.
Perfectly fine for somewhere to sleep.

We had a last minute stay here for two nights after getting stuck in London due to British Airways system failure. Staff were friendly and accommodating. They upgraded us for free as they knew we'd had a tough day being stuck in Terminal 5. All in all, a good last minute stay. Great location.
S. F.
Enjoyed a lovely English High Tea here - excellent selection of teas, delicious savoury and sweet assortment, good service and great value. The staff were attentive and did not hurry us at all - we lingered over our tea for more than three hours.
D. K.
Clean rooms in a very convenient location. I was pre-warned to ask for a quiet room which I did on checking in and staff were very accommodating putting me in a quiet 5th floor room. The room was relatively small, but no smaller than you would expect from a central London room in this price bracket. Room had free wifi which should have been a bonus but signal was very weak in my room, (and not even a wired option as backup). Difficult to get a sensible heating setting on the AC unit so I was constantly adjusting.
Breakfast was buffet style of both hot and cold. Nothing to write home about, but perfectly good.
All in all whilst I had many complaints they were all very minor and I would stay again.
S. C.
Air con barely worked in the room and it was well over 40° when we got up there, so a terrible night sleep. Check in was supposed to be at 14:00 but we found that we couldn't check in when we arrived after 14:00 because the room wasn't ready. No shower pressure what so ever. The rooms were clean but just not worth it at all.....all seemed a bit fawlty towers. Cleaner knocked on the door at 9ish....check out is supposed to be at 12 as per our booking. I think they make it up as they go along.
N. N.
Centrally located, and very close to Lancaster Gate Subway station, and Hyde Park. The rooms are quite cozy, with all the basic amenities. The English breakfast served in the lobby is also very good.

There's a restaurant called Bel Canto which is attached to this hotel near Lancaster Gave that offers an unusual but outstanding experience that combines fine dining with table-side opera! It's best to make a reservation as there are few tables. All the wait staff are trained vocalists and pianists, and the programme of arias is constructed only a couple hour or so before dinner guests arrive. They are very good; I kid you not! You're likely to see a different group if you come on different nights as they are professional musicians booked onto genuine productions from time to time.
There's a new chef as well some take advantage of the latest dishes which are exquisitely presented. It's a 2 course semi set menu. You'll have a positively great time here!

One of the best hotels in London, enough said! Great staff, warm reception. Very nicr room. Fabolous breakfast spread! Thr only hotel I am gonna stay if I ever were to come to London again!
T. T.
Great building, grand public rooms. Reception can be very busy, expect to wait. Bedrooms good size but plain, bathroom very small. Food not great, usuall poor buffet breakfast. Staff friendly.
F. O.
Great location, good (and kind of pricey) breakfast. I got a single room right by the elevator hall which turned out to be very noisy all night long, besides the air-conditioning not working (yes, it can get hot in London!) so I asked the front desk for a different room and they managed to get me a newly renovated one with a double bed and good AC for the other nights.

Revommend great hotel breakfast the best nice rooms staff very good helpful

Great hotel beautiful and very clean. Excellent full english breakfast. The bussiness room had everything we needed the bed was big enough for two towels changed every day. Helpful staff and of course excellent place in front of the hyde park.
K. B.
Staff here are great. Room size very good. Really enjoy the breakfast. Like watching chef cook my omelette. Tasty.
O. M.
I stayed in a smart but typically business like executive room but it's the kind of thing you can find at any 4 star hotel...comfy, clean and practical. Now, the good bits...
Food: I really enjoyed some of the Malaysian food they do (there is other cuisines including burgers and steaks and stuff I just fancied one of the few Malaysian dishes). The breakfast was a pretty typical buffet (full english, conitnental, cereal etc) but decent quality and choice....I think they might do fresh omelettes to order at breakfast as well but I'm not 100% sure
Staff: all very polite and helpful.
Location: it's 10-15 mins walk from Paddington, 5 mins from Lancaster gate tube and 15-20 mins from Notting hill gate tube so you can get to it and get about in central london easily, it's right by Hyde park (obviously) so nice for a morning run etc and for those that don't know the location there are lots of pubs, convenience stores and alternative places to eat within a very short walk either toward Paddington or toward portobello market.
So, all in all, as a business traveller doing a midweek stay it ticks pretty much all boxes. Only reason i'm not rating it a 5 is that it doesn't have that super high quality fit, finish and experience - just typical 4 star decor etc, no wow factor. I did have a pod coffee machine (with pods) in my room which is a bonus as well.
R. D.
The lobby is a bit odd but the rooms are nice and clean. The location is great for exploring the city, very central, on Hyde park, and just 2 minutes from tube station. Good value given location.
T. M.
We arrived earlier than check in time and our room was ready which was great. The room was probably the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Location is great for access to/from the West Country as it's a 10 mis walk to Paddington for trains for Bristol, Bath, South Wales, Plymouth.
S. S. J.
Perfect location very polite staff. The rooms are a bit small but then so are most rooms in London hotels. Very clean rooms. Slow elevations and slow showers but all else is great. Stayed here 3 summers ago and going back again. It is about 2mins walk from Lancaster gate tube station, 10 to 15mins walk to Paddington station. Hyde park is right in front of it so you can go walking and enjoy the park.
M. D.
An excellent hotel and place to stay, centralised located and easy excess to where we wish to go. The hotel staffs from the receptionist, house keeping, the waiters at the table are all courtiers, helpful, is attentive to the needs of the guest they nake it very comfortable for the guest. " True Service with a smile " I salute to the management and all staffs of Corus Hotel Hyde Park London.
I chose and stayed at this Hotel among all the tenths of other hotels in the vicinity this whole week. I am sure to come again to stay at this hotel and you can be assured that i will tell my friends back home in Malaysia about your excellent hotel. Thank you.

It's a nice hotel with a great location. Service is very good. We found the breakfast quite expensive so we had breakfast at Sheila's cafe right on the corner of the hotel. The girls there are very nice. We loved the Italian restaurant recommended by the hotel, Ristorante Taormina. For my taste, I would prefer fresher rooms, but I can't complain about the cleaning. If you are aware of hotel room prices in London, you know you cannot expect luxury here. But the location is worth it. Near the main places you want to be in London and a delicious area to walk at night, with bars and little stores open till late.

Great hotel. Nice rooms, if a little small. Good location. Very polite staff. More cost effective breakfast options nearby by than the hotel restaurant.
R. S. (.
Great hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Hotel clean, rooms good. Nice cafe/restaurant area and food good. Only stayed for one night but would definitely stay there again.
E. G.
Exelente staff and good place to rest and spend time.
W. M. I.
Hotel staff's including front desk and house keeping are very nice and made us feel welcome. Bed are super comfy and the hotel location are very strategic. Sure will come again in future.
D. G.
Beautiful reception and communal areas slightly let down by the rooms that were dated and in need of a makeover. Dont let them give you room 108, too near air con vents so noisy and overlooks a car park.
M. P. (.
Rooms weren't bad. Overall not an unpleasant experience. Staff was great, breakfast tasted amazing, but the power went out twice during our 4 day stay.
M. B.
Superb warm welcome on arrival. Executive double room is spacious with lounge area and robe, slippers and espresso machine. Breakfast included vegan and gluten free options and is less chaotic than it used to be. A lovely stay.
J. W.
The hotel has been amazing so far. Rooms are wonderful and clean. The wifi has been working extremly well for me and the dinner food and free buffet breakfasts in the hotel restraunt has been amazing. The park across the street is beautiful. Also it's close to a tube station so it provides easy access to the rest of the city.
N. H.
It was a good (ish) value central London Hotel with lovely staff. However, for the price paid I had a really bad room. The room was next next to the air con/heating units outside and the sound insulation is so bad it felt like I was sleeping on a helicopter landing pad. I will most likely stay here again, but I will ask for a room that isnt down in the basement.

Wonderful team at Front office,Lovely room great air conditioning coming back on hot day in London is
a great help.Lovely room clean.Receive a lovely handwritten note from BAIBA BLAUDUMA,
Front desk Ms Verah and most charming Silvio
Thank you so much, for making sure I had s wonderful stay at Corus Hyde Park London.
Downside concierge was not helpful rude and not
welcoming and always unavailable.
S. G.
Great location. Very old rooms (the phones in the rooms had dial up modems attached - very 1995) but they do have wifi. Our room floors were not very clean. Breakfast, while offering a great selection, was a 3/5 stars (ok food, poor service). Again though, if you can overcome the above - it's a prime location right next to Hyde Park, tube entry (5 mins walk) and the train station (8 min walk)
M. C.
A Lovely hotel with great facilities and very friendly and welcoming staff. The restaurant is a great space and the food is excellent. The bar as a great selection of draft beers and largest including a beautiful draft IPA.
M. S.
It’s ok we are currently in room 114 having been offered s second choice from 111
The lady was most helpful but room 114 is still small, the shower enclosure leaks badly resulting in water everywhere the lamp at the side of the bed does not work and the window is blowing an horrendous gale.
We stay here every year but find this years stay dissapointimg.
J. H.
The concierge service helped us with several things and was successful each time - very helpful! All staff were courteous and helpful. We recommend the breakfast (except instant coffee - get the tea instead) and afternoon tea.
C.
This hotel was okay, but it is definitely not up to the standards of a four-star hotel. Some parts of the hotel, especially the rooms, do appear a bit run-down. On the other hand, the staff was very helpful and breakfast was good. The best part of the hotel is the location.
R. C.
Wonderful staff. Very generous to the guests. I had a few ants in my room so they upgraded my room and it was amazing. Really was a very nice hotel with good location.
D. R.
Came here for afternoon tea for my mum's birthday, lovely hotel from what I saw, other side of Hyde park. The safe was very nice and helpful. The afternoon tea spread was very nice. My mum had lovely time which made me happy ☺
U. T.
I had afternoon tea with a friend in the restaurant in the hotel. Was lovely. We particularly enjoyed the service from Ioan. He was very attentive and went out of his way to make sure that we were satisfied
P. S.
Solid hotel which is very convenient for business people. Walking distance from Paddington Station and 2 blocks from the Tube. Nice and accommodating staff, if somewhat small rooms.
It has nice pubs nearby, as well.
A. P.
Short walk from the station. Easy to get to. Small rooms but very nice hotel. Modern decor, great food. Very friendly polite staff.
A. S.
We had a room with two single beds on the west side of the hotel. View is great, but the room is on the smaller side, and there were very few electrical outlets in the room. The bathroom is quite tiny
G. F.
Fab Hotel we stayed this weekend for BBC Proms in the park. Perfect location. Room very clean, bathroom small but adequate. Poss could do with a bit of updating but Hay for the money you couldn't get better.we didn't have breakfast we went to Sheila's cafe 80yds to the right as you come out of main entrance. The staff at the Corus were very accomadateing. So very close to Lancaster Gate Stn, Hyde Park directly across the Rd just fab . A nice little walk down the road and yr in knightsbridge. Fab restaurants and pubs to be found there. Great pub next door Couldn't ask for more highly recommend it. Will gladly stay there again.
J. L. M. D.
Very old decoration, rooms and Hall are not very clean. The mattress in the bed is very old and extremely soft, not very good for your back. It need urgently a renovation. At least the staff are nice.
A. F.
Great guest service. Baggage storage at your request. The rooms are execionally clean and modern, ranging from single to king-size. Located in a great area too
J. S.
Two nights for 2: Four star location, three star room, two star breakfast. Clean, with most amenities. Breakfast was not very good. Most annoying part was the lifts. All three lifts stop on all floors that a button has been pressed, going up or down.
M. M.
Good location (Hyde Park) and very close to Lancaster Gate tube. Good value for money overall and staff are trying their best... rooms with open shower are not the best experience as there's water all over the place after you have a shower...I wish they'd be a bit more flexible with late check-out, staying there for ten(10) nights I would expect some flexibility instead of charging 10 pounds per hour...sorry guys...but overall a good place and I would probably stay there again...
S. A.
Nice hotel with easy access to transport links.staff great, welcoming and friendly. Rooms also very good although for this type of hotel sockets shld have usb points. Nevertheless wld definitely recommend a short stay.
S. S.
The location was very good. The rooms were clean, with enough space. It is a decent place with a very good breakfast.
T. M.
Nice hotel across the street from Hyde Park. Room was quiet which is always a bonus but it was tucked away on the 5th floor at the back of the building and the walls appeared to be leaning into the room. Pub next door The Swan is excellent and has live music at the weekend.
N. R.
Nice hotel, good size room, friendly staff. Had a burger in the bar which was nice. Breakfast with the area overlooking Hyde Park was nice too.
c. m.
On the day of check out, I left my rail card in the room. I was put through to house keeping, I spoke with Monika who was extremely helpful and two days later my card arrived home through the post. thank you x
S. B.
Staued a few time now. Very dated rooms and single glazed so noisy to traffic. Breakfast not bad though, resident chef makes a great omlet and great to find somewhere who serves smoked bacon! Close to Lancaster gate central line station and Paddington which is great.
K. W.
Room was tiny and a bit noisy but I guess to be expected in the location. Staff friendly and helpful. Big plus was having a Malaysian menu for room service in addition to the usual fare. Beef Rendang was superb.
K. D.
Nice hotel with nice staff, rooms a bit small and lots of small flights of stairs, which may be an issue if you have mobility concerns. Bar prices a bit step. Breakfast was good.
S.
Great location. Close to many attractions including Kensington Palace and Hyde Park. Our room was a little small but didn't matter much as we were out most of the time. Friendly staff.
A. S.
Nice comfortable hotel but a bit tired and in need of some updating. Only disturbance was from folk who don't know how to close a door quietly. Great location for the West End, Central Line station right next door..
T. M.
Smallest room I have ever stayed in. The location was an easy walk from the Heathrow Express at Paddington Station, but the Lancaster Gate station on the Central line is only a very short walk away for day to day travels. Room backed onto main road so quite loud.
V. B.
Hotel is located right next to Hyde park and about a 10 minute work from Paddington station. The hotel and the rooms are very clean, and the staff and very helpful. There is different restaurant within the hotel so you have a choice of food? The food is lovely.
A. A.
This hotel looks great and historical old building and is in an excellent location. Afternoon Tea was superb too. Great service tasty pastries and staff was helpful.
N. Z.
Corus hotel is located just 2 minutes from Lancaster Gate station, convenient transport acces to either train or bus. The hotel is clean and comfy, staff are friendly while the breakfast spread is just awesome.
A. C.
Rooms are very small. Location is good.
C. B.
Nice lobby, and a good hotel. Very good breakfast. Great location, opposite Hyde park. Helpful staff. Small rooms, even by London standards.
M. D.
Well... Very good hotel
The location is close to Lancaster Gate just 2 minutes walk...and maybe 13 minutes walk to Oxford Street...
The room is okay little small as most of hotels rooms in London..
The bathroom is little little small..
3 elevator so no Q..
The reception was excellent for Check in and out..
A nice bar to have some food and drinks..
Mini Market close to..
Recommended if you are looking in this area
D. B.
Two out of three elevators were broken on our visit, they were fitting new carpets on our floor which made getting to our room a bit of a pain. The shower taps were also broken, this did not affect the performance of the shower but it did make the room look tacky
H. H.
Clean and comfy. Meals delicious. Rooms tiny. Really would have struggled to fit 2 people in the twin room.
No hair dryer.
p. F.
Nice place. I've seen two staff in there and very friendly. Room a bit small...
C. M.
Had a great stay on the weekend. Double Executive room was huge!! Clean, spacious, air-conditioned room with wi-fi throughout the hotel. The staff were brilliant....very attentive!
M. M.
Clean room and friendly staff. Service in reception & breakfast was a bit slow though.
S. C.
Really friendly helpful staff. Room was on the small side but warm and comfortable. Breakfast was nice. Lots of choice for hot or cold food.
L. D.
Everything is nice and clean. Good service , compact but nice rooms. Only complaint is that you can hear the street outside very clearly making it hard to sleep at times.
r. g.
M so glad that i chose Corus hyde park hotel, i really had great time there. I must say the staff - reception, conceirge, butler service etc were amazing .. i took a group to London and the hotel staff mannaged it quite well.
The rooms are fine but the best thing is the location of the hotel. Centally located and very close to station and the great hyde park.
a. s.
It was very nice, clean and the people who work there were very helpful. However the room we had booked for two people was very small and the one bed (in a double room) was also very tight.
D. C.
Enjoyed our stay here, continental breakfast was excellent, great value for the location, basic rooms are fairly small, but fine for a short stay.
A. W.
Beautiful hotel with small but efficient rooms. Perfect accommodations and great location for a multitude-day stay in London. Will definitely stay here again if we come back to London.
T.
Nice hotel. Concierge desk. Close to the underground and Hyde park. Modern decor in the room although it was a little claustrophobic. Had every thing we needed for a night in London to catch a show and get some rest after.
K. M.
We had such an amazing experience at the hotel's restaurant. Niegel, one of the managers went above and beyond to accommodate our afternoon tea ceremony. I strongly recommend this place!!
j. W.
We have used the restaurants for Hightea! And it is ok! Not the best but price reflects! Have to credit the staff for their kindness! My mum left her phone on the table and staff held on to it until we are back! Thank you!
E. D.
Nice hotel, really small rooms. My only problem is that it was impossible to take a hot shower as water was warm at best.
i. m.
Great location 20 mins by Tube to Euston. Hotel very good so I would be happy to recommend. £97 a night pretty good for London including a very varied breakfast.
C. C.
Really nice hotel, good staff nice room ,bathroom. The only issue they're don't give me deposit back. Apart from that all good end nice ,I recommend this hotel.
Y. I.
Clean hotel however parts could to with refurb. Staff helpful. Can't comment on restaurant food and gym as didn't visit. Queensway is nearest tube station due to Lancaster gate being closed until mid July.
L. B.
Friendly service, clean. Breakfast a bit disorganised, rooms on the small side but overall great place to stay in London
B. L.
Standard room was very small (12 sq ft) and bathroom was rather uncomfortable. Awesome breakfast. Good service.
S. S.
Good price for what we got. Small room with 2 beds, didn't spend any time there except to sleep. Good location, close to everything we wanted to visit.
B. R.
Great breakfast buffet. But the rooms were freezing cold. Could easily reach both walls in a double bedroom.
C. B.
The rooms have been renovated recently. Thin walls. The more expensive rooms are better and bigger than the smaller rooms. This is a full (double) bed in a small room.
T. M.
Our rooms were clean and tidy with comfortable beds. Absolutely worth the price and would definitely stay here again.
G. S.
We loved the location perfect for the park and getting around. Oxford Street is walkable. The staff were very welcoming. The breakfast was lovely but get there early.
S. T.
Afternoon tea is perfect for catching up with friends. I like that there's two of everything so you have one each.
Wheelchair access ✔️ The ramp was a bit steep, but at least they had one.
T. B.
Rooms are a little small but it is right in the heart of the city. Rooms and hotel were spotless, staff very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
K. S.
Fave hotel in London, stayed here 4 times now. Great location, rooms are great, nice and clean. Concierge was a very strange man though! 😏
F. U.
Lovely afternoon tea. Staff very attentive and helpful. Could ask if you needed some hot water to top up the tea, but other than that very nice.
K. M.
Nice staff and terrific pianist in the lobby. Food is a bit suspect though. I ordered vegetable casserole and I got a plate full of tinned beans and a couple boiled potatoes drizzled in a tasteless tomato sauce 😶 Bauk
E. O.
I'd give six stars if I could , brilliant staff were very nice , room was perfect , the comfiest bed I've ever slept in , lovely room , clean quiet , lunch is good there
J. A.
Good breakfast and the hotel is well kept. The room is tiny but clean and comfortable. Price is a bit steep.
S. P.
Hotel very nice . Located near tube which was great. Breakfast very good. The rooms are compact was adequate for a twin room for w nights
E. M.
Very small double rooms for 138 pounds per night, not a great value for money. But the location and proximity to tube station is so convenient.
P. S.
Lovely hotel. Friendly staff and helpful. Good food. Rooms a bit small but clean. Drinks are expensive
r. d.
Nice hotel, some rooms can be on the small side, especially the ones next to the lifts staff are great, breakfast is very good. Hotel is I. A great location j London
B. A.
The location of this hotel is fantastic, but the room was quite (extremely) small. We visited on the hottest days of the year and the air/con was broken, and the barman only reluctantly provided us with ice.
A. K.
Wonderful place, making you feel special
R. D.
Great location near the hyde park and close to the underground. good restaurants and pubs close by.
The team are very nice and supportive.
the room is small but comfortable and clean.
H. A.
Lovely place to stay especially business double room ( much better renovated and thick walls )
But normal double rooms need urgent renovation walls are very thin
Overall good experience
V. C.
Very clean nice room. Nice staff
E. P.
Great hotel located just off Hyde Park. Within walking distance of Oxford Street, Buckingham Palace and Big Ben, or you can just catch the Tube at Lancaster Gate.
Rooms are a little small but very clean with very helpful staff.
C. K.
Regularly stay here with work. Can be quite noisy and is hit and miss with regards to the room. However, great location by Hyde Park and near where the old FA Headquarters were
D. N.
Good food, tiny rooms though. Not far from the underground and Hyde Park. Nice restaurants around.
The room keeping was interesting though.
t. m.
Amazing location.
Very small rooms and wash rooms.
Service is ok.
But the location makes up for the short comings.
And yeah... Good breakfast
D. S.
Enjoyed my stay, bedroom a bit on the small side, but it is London! Reception and breakfast all good. Good location.
J. B.
Lovely Hotel. Every time I have been it has been on business. All of the staff I have come in to contact with have been very helpful and friendly and the club sandwiches are really nice. Highly recommended!

My wife arranged for us to go to London for my 45th birthday and when I opened the door - wow what an unexpected surprise from the hotel! Thanks very much to Silva, the guest relations manager!
S. J.
Lovely hotel, very good location with the tube only a 2 min walk and 10mins walk from Paddington, food good value especially the buffet breakfast.
D. P.
Very pleased with this hotel. Staff polite, room well presented. Enjoyed the food. Not over-priced - very reasonable.

smallest room we ever stayed in,
like a small walk inn closet,
stay away from the so called business rooms
The staff upgraded us to a bigger room, nice service and very good location
p. t.
The staff are very helpful the standard room was nice and clean a bit small but had everything you need, the food especially the breakfast is very good
I. H.
Awesome experience. Wife surprised me on my birthday. Perfect location, lovely staff and delicious sandwiches and cupcakes.
J. J.
Chorus hotel is in an excellent location, the rooms are very comfortable, and the hotel staff are very accommodating. If your looking for a hotel that is not in a touristy area, but still close to lots of attractions choose this one!
A. W.
The staff was so nice but the room was rinky dink super small and dingy, the tub was bobo. Besides location and staff utter mess
A. H.
Went here for afternoon tea this Sunday. Nice atmosphere. Service was good. Location easy to find and right opposite Hyde park/Kensington gardens. Food was delicious.
T. G.
Enjoyed the best ever Traditional Cream Tea here on Wednesday 27/9/17 and First class service the Teas, Pastries and the Savories were nothing short of stunning on the eyes and the taste buds will definitely visit again
S. A.
Good cosy rooms. Breakfast was filling. Close to the Lancaster Gate tube station and Oxford Street shopping area. Located bang opposite Hyde Park.

H. J. H.
Location of the hotel is fantastic very close to everything and the tube stations.. excellent service from the staff and very nice room will definitely use this hotel again next time I'm in London
R. R.
Room was small. Thin walls, could hear next door very clearly. Elevators very busy in morning. Nice breakfast.
J. T.
Great place with good amenities and location. However some rooms have a flight of steps leading to it, making luggage access somewhat cumbersome.
P. G.
A very comfortable hotel, staff really kind, really clean, rooms tiny🙃🙃 good breakfast, perfect ubication
K. B.
Nice hotel. Good location and really his breakfast. Rooms could do wity some updating. But overall a solid hotel at a good price.

N. D.
Great location and breakfast, however rooms are small, no fridge and air conditioning not the best
K. D.
Hotel was accomating. Rooms were a bit small. And air conditioning didn't seem to stay on. Breakfast was good.
