Fantastically convenient for city airport, hotel was spotlessly clean and rooms were of a high standard. Service was brilliant, easily the best I've had from a courtyard. Air conditioning / heating took a bit of working out but great once I got the hang of it. Food was standard but decent and good value. Breakfast was really good value and tasty. Rooms were decent size and shower had food pressure. Runway view was excellent. There is a bit of DLR noise but was actually quite calming. Highly recommended

This Courtyard is a very strong option not only for those flying out of City Airport, but also those who need to be in the Canary Wharf-adjacent part of London. The hotel is well-located, with a well-lit sidewalk connecting it to City Airport and the DLR. My room was spacious, well-stocked with the standard amenities expected from an airport hotel, and apart from an oddly small window well laid out. What really makes this hotel stand out is the service - from check-in to check-out I interacted with incredibly helpful and courteous staff. Some examples: a scheduling mishap meant I had to stay a night longer than expected, and the desk staff was incredibly accommodating in extending my stay; when I needed to print a document, Gulcan (?) proactively offered to print it and send it to my room; and the housekeeping service was proactive, thorough, and generous with coffee sachets. I'll definitely consider this hotel again.

I had a pleasure to stay in Marriott Courtyard for 4 days. The location was great for us, just a few minutes walk from The ExCel London, so perfect in case when you come here in business issues. The service is super kind and helpful any time you asked. The hotel is very clean and well decorated, room has such a comfortable beds that you can sleep like a baby. Breakfast were very tasty and fresh also there is a full variety of the food, so you can easily find something for you. I recommend staying in this hotel for everyone who are looking for a beauty and comfortable place to rest after a busy day. :)

The rooms are nice and clean. The shower could have used a sliding door, but quarantine is still quarantining. More importantly, the staff are great here and makes this place special. Shout out to Martin, Dani and especially "The Main Man" Wilson for making my stay a pleasant one.

In times of negative and slightly scary stories published online about quarantine hotels for red listed countries in UK, I would like to give a shout out to this one. Every single person I came across during my stay, was very helpful and kind. Everyone was trying to make my time here as easy as possible. From COVID security team, to hotel staff, to management at front desk - everyone was extremely helpful. A few of security guards even apologized to me when my fresh air break would end! People bringing in food for us, doing runs to pick up or drop anything to our rooms, people holding doors for us, the kitchen being so considerate of many of our demands, and still sending us amazing desserts every night, staff sanitizing everything for our safety and new customers. There was a requirement for a well oiled machinery in the system to work as smoothly as it did here, and they all did a brilliant job. In these trying times, this was the perfect place to de-stress and chill out.

We have now been in the hotel for the last 4 days. We read all the reviews for travelling back to the UK and was very apprehensive, from immigration, hotel, food and being held up in our room. The room is good size, no open windows but bright enough. TV is good size, beds comfy and rooms clean. All the hotel staff have been brilliant and very helpful when making any request. Security also friendly and very helpful and will do what they can for you. I have read the other reviews and cant say anything negative to say about the hotel. Think we have been lucky and would stay at this hotel again after all this situation has gone. Thanks everyone at the hotel

Nice and clean place. Friendly staff - Danielle and Chris are very helpful. Sometimes service is slow but can understand the demand in a busy quarantine hotel. Food is tasty but variety is limited. Rooms bed is all very comfy. Surrounding is clean and appears safe. Will visit again.

The public areas are welcoming and cosy, the room is perfect for working from with very well thought out layout and amenities. Perfectly situated next to London City airport and great connections into London. Above all, and mostly importantly the staff are amazing and make this place shine. They've made me feel like I'm staying at a home from home, always wanting to help and go above and beyond. Keep up the good work, it has not gone unnoticed. Good experience overall. Friendly staff. One criticism was the 12.5% they add on for VAT charges. I thought that was a bit excessive. That was my only bug bear.

I stayed there for my 10-day quarantine in early May. I understand it was opened for UK travel quarantine. The service is excellent and the food is amasing. The room is clean with ample space for 2 adults to move around. The beds are comfy enough to sleep & rest. It has smart TV that you can connect Netflix and prime on it. The internet is ok to carry on for business calls but a booster for people working from rooms should be available. The food chef Chris is excellent with his skills in showing varieties that you are not bored with choices.

11 relaxing nights being looked after by Manager Chris and his amazingly thoughtful team. They even accommodated my food requests, delivering tasty, healthy salads and fruit. The room was spacious with enough desk space for 2 of us to work. The bed was extremely comfortable with a choice of feather or synthetic pillows. Room 612 has a view of Royal Albert Docks, LCY airstrip plus the DLR. All in all a good experience in challenging times.

Modern and clean rooms, good size for a short stay. It is at around 5 minutes walking distance from the London City Airport. They offer a breakfast buffet or breakfast bag for early checkout guests. Friendly and helpfull staff.

This is the second time staying here and wow! Honestly the best staff, the most comfy beds, nothing is to much trouble, clean and tidy. And although not central there’s a 24 hour connection to the city centre. This will always be my first choice place to stay.

Breakfast, well - a difficult topic in England ;-) (Original) Overground DLR in unmittelbarer Nähe, sauber und und für den Preis komfortabel. Das WLAN funktioniert einwandfrei, einige TV Sender haben zwischendurch Aussetzer. Gerne wieder. Frühstück, naja - ein schwieriges Thema in England ;-)
