The stay with my boyfriend at this hotel was amazing. We felt great in this hotel where we had everything we wanted. An excellent view, a very good breakfast food, a professional staff who were with us and took care of us with absolutely everything we asked for, the cleaning team was very good, our rooms were tidy and clean. As a location it is close to the center (15-20min) especially since you have public transport 1 minute walk from the hotel. I recommend this hotel if you want to take your next vacation in London.

Considering what you pay for this hotel is very good value for money.
I very much enjoyed the pool. The changing rooms are quite small but they never seem to be busy so that's completely fine. You are meant to book a slot for the pool / Leisure Centre facilities but I turned up in the morning after waking up early just to chance it and they were completely fine with it which I thought was very nice of them.

Google asks me why my experience with this hotel was excellent. I'll tell you why, the stay I had at this hotel was a dream, just like the view I had, the services I got from the employees, the food I ate at breakfast and restaurant and the room I stayed in was very nice, clean and gave me a feeling of comfort as I would be at home. Briefly a cozy and beautiful room. You have DLR transport a minute's walk away and many grocery stores near the hotel. I recommend this hotel, they have very good prices for all the services they offer. 5 star experience, no doubt. :)

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, the room was quite spacious and very clean. I liked the fact that I had a bath and shower. I felt safe and secure in my room. The hotel staff were nice and helpful also. The spa facilities were quite basic …

Pleasant stay with my son who turned 18. Room was clean although more refreshments could have been provided ie one choice of one small fizzy or still - we both like still! Had to ask for more milk etc which was received almost immediately …

We had a clean and comfortable family break here just prior to Xmas 2021. Omicron was spreading, but the hotel had measures in place, like 'one household per lift', etc. Breakfast was excellent, though better espresso would be great - I switched to Americano. WiFi was good and very easy to access. Views are probably much better from south facing rooms; worth asking on arrival. The pool is downstairs from the changing rooms, with only a part-frosted window to the street, which might be issues for some. If using the DLR, it's about 8 stops to Tower Hill. The car park, like all in London, is a bit tight, and (while not in the hotel's gift) we discovered it is £12.50 a day inside the North circular for many diesels, now. On the day we checked out, it took 12 minutes to get to that road, so more than a pound a minute! Eek! But these are just things to be aware of; the hotel itself seemed excellent.

Just checked in. Very friendly staff, speedy and efficient service. Good quality room for a very reasonable price. Close to local shops, bars and restaurants so very quick and easy to grab a bite. Would recommend. Just a short walk from the Royal Victoria DLR station for a short journey back into Canary Wharf.

Happy with the staff and their kindness, From the receptionists, bar staff and dinner waiters to breakfast personnel. Rooms were tidy and clean and the food was up to standards.
But what let it down was the spa facilities. Not that they are not in place. I think when you are offering a spa hotel and you are advertising as that, you are not suppose to have swimming classes in progress. We choose these hotel specifically for the spa and the relaxation . What we faced two times that we visited those facilities (in an hour sloth) was on Sunday lessons in progress and 5-to 7 years old learning how to swim and being noisy. And I said ok tomorrow kids are at school at least we can relax for an hour. Contrary there were baby classes in progress and they have taken the majority of the pool. we spend all our spa time in the corner listening to baby cry, twinkle twinkle and the weal's of the bus. Nobody from the guests were happy and we chat with each that this is ridiculous. 12 adults pushed on the corner. That is not how you treat your guests. I will never stay again there...Sorry

Booking in was slow, 2 lifts not really enough for this size hotel, particularly with 1 servicing the fitness/wellbeing on floor one.
Breakfast was completely overbooked, we were placed in an overflow area with …

I booked this hotel for its location to the ExCel centre for a convention and after checking the reviews decided to book the hotel .
We really enjoyed our stay . The rooms are very clean and the beds amazingly …

Good location for a hotel, lots of shops around, but staff were not very enthusiastic or welcoming. As well as this, we were booked for 3 people to stay however there were only 2 towels in the room, which were scratchy and thin. There wasn't many complementary toiletries either. The room was very cold when we walked in and took a while to heat up. Our room seemed like it was only accommodated for 2 people. However, the beds were comfy and we got everywhere we wanted to go very quickly, as the hotel was very nearby to this.

Went to Crown Plaza Royal Victoria for a meal. Was served by Nina and Roberto. From the moment we enter the hotel, Nina was assigned to our table. Found her to be very helpful and professional. Nothing was too much !!! She recommended with dish to have and the food was amazing. Nina had a label on her uniform which said "Trainee" I said wow, if this is what a trainee can provide. Definitely an good ambassador to your hotel, especially in this current climate of labour shortages in the hospitality industry, you do have a star in Nina.

Needed a hotel close to dock lands and ability to get around the general London area, this hotel location was great having the DLR on our doorstep and also the ability to be close to event venues. …

A great hotel with fantastic, easy connections to central London. A quiet neighbourhood made for a good night's sleep in a large well presented room.
The staff were very friendly and helpful both prior to and during the stay.
The pool and spa facilities were a nice extra.

The room was spacious and the beds were comfy. A good choice of TV channels and hot showers made it easy to relax. My only criticism would be the lack of information on food and beverages available at the restaurant and no choice of room …

It's a nice place to stay but I was disappointed that at their price they didn't provide room service or provide any robes to use to visit the pool.
The room was a nice size, and there was a desk for me to work at which I found helpful.

Nice good standard hotel, big rooms, comfortable beds for families. Breakfast is brilliant standard. Nice location for families with older kids (not easy for people with pushchairs if you are going into the city). …

Nice and tidy hotel with good spa facilities.
Standard room had only a double bed, room was plenty big enough but small bed and small bath. Couldn't lie down in bathtub and double bed small for two people, no reason why it couldn't be a king size bed.
Staff we're polite and friendly, good service and well presented.
Just the bed and bath size as well as £20 cost for overnight parking that lets it down.

We were very impressed with this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Very clean, spacious and comfortable room. Restaurant staff exceptional and food excellent. Good choice on menu and all our food was cooked just perfectly.

Can I just say, that thanks to Khalid our stay was superb. He rectified an error that the hotel had made, upgraded our room and even offered us a free continental breakfast in the morning. If it was not for Khalid our stay would’ve been a disaster. Can I also say he is such a caring, empathetic and lovely man. Me and my friend were off to a night out and Khalid told us to drive safe and have fun! That really made our night as it’s small things like that, that make a huge difference. So Khalid, thank you again and we hope to see you again soon. And thank you for making our stay a lovely one :)

We stayed as a family of 4, for 4 nights at the start of the summer holidays. Room suited our needs, was modern and had plenty of space and amenities. Room service was not available due to COVID - which the children were looking forward to. …

Stayed for 2 nights and really impressed with it!! Especially the fact that they cater for Coeliacs and offer a few Gluten Free options at breakfast , including GF cereal , GF bread , and a GF English Breakfast! Rooms are lovely, clean , spacious and beds really comfortable! The staff always friendly and helpful. It's in a great location for exploring the East End , as the Emirates Air Line is right outside to transport you across to Greenwich etc and the Uber River Boat can take you further up the Thames! Love it here! P.s there's a Tesco Express next door for convenience!

Hotel is very convenient to the excel center if you are working there.
The sheets are horrible, they feel like canvas, not at all like other IHG properties. I have over 1500 nights in IHG hotels, so trust me I know!
Other than that complaint, the bar and restaurant staff were very kind and polite.

In my experience, Crowne Plaza is a premium brand in a competitive market place and is one of my preferred choices for business travel. Having a proper desk in the room is a very useful and the public areas have a sophisticated and relaxing ambience. Staff are generally professional and helpful.

Crowne Plaza is a nice little hotel on the docklands with good access to the Excel centre. And that’s it. It’s billed as a 4 star premium hotel however when checking in, I immediately realised that I got more luxury in a premier inn.
The hotel has no room service available in the slightest and housekeeping needs to be manually requested everyday before 11am. This wouldn’t be a problem if they actually did it. I booked housekeeping for the day at 8am and came back at 5pm only to find out they never even showed up.
At the same time, we booked an accessible room for my disabled partner and this room ended up having a nice accessible bathroom, but was a downgrade from the room we had already booked at the same price. The view was gone and it felt like a smaller bed than we would have gotten in the regular room.
The price was disgusting. It cost me £800 for 3 nights to stay in this hotel, I think the price was inflated due to Comic Con happening in the Excel, which is just ridiculous.
This includes breakfast every morning, however upon going to breakfast the hot drinks machine wasn’t working properly, the food was really generic and there were little to no options.
For a 4 star hotel, at £800 for a weekend, this was really disappointing.
I’d rate this hotel higher however at 1am on our first night here the fire alarm went off and we were all lined up outside in our pyjamas in the freezing cold for 10 minutes until they told us it was just a false alarm.
As for the room services, the television had built in media hubs like movies however the selection of movies was tiny. We bought a pass to get all the movies for £16 but it reset itself after a day and the movies were barely even HD.
The air conditioning in the room did nothing at all. When trying to get it to cool the air, it would just lock itself to 22 degrees and refused to go lower despite the settings.
And for the bed itself, it was comfy but pretty average. There were flies in the room on our first night and I woke up with bites on my body. The window also does not close properly, as we would close it and turn the handle but still hear people outside clear as day.
All of this would be fine and I’d overlook it if, again, this wasn’t a 4 star hotel that I paid £800 for.
The Bar and Grill had some nice staff however the prices were insane and I paid less for food and drink on the first class train here.
Will probably not stay here again.

A nice clean hotel just had to ask our rooms to be cleaned and tea and coffee refreshed. Beds and not that comfy just a double not king they drop at sides . Location was good spa really nice and clean overall I would recommend this hotel for familys that want a bit of relaxation near to central London. .

Comfortable stay, superb breakfast and helpful staff. Aircon, pool, steam and other amenities are great Dinner at docklands bar and grill was delish and the waiter is super friendly The hotel is very near the london docklands cable car station which is very convenient if you are going to O2. We had an enjoyable staycation.

I had a great experience at the London, Docklands branch. The room was clean, service was amazing, breakfast was tasty, pool was relaxing. 100% worth the money so would recommend and return again.

Nice and clean hotel with good spa amenities. Overall good food and very helpful and friendly staff. One negative is parking.. which in £20 per night - that’s just way too much.

100% recommend! Lovely and clean and neat and tidy and fresh and modern. Absolutely lovely staff. Everything you needed from a hotel. Beautiful amazing top quality fresh food in the restaurant and brekkie amazing too and very well organised. Lovely surroundings, cable cars literally across the road to get across to the 02 where all the shops and restaurants are. Beautiful at night with cable cars and o2 and buildings around docks all lit up. Perfect base to go into London for.

It's a nice hotel and well located. Although the opening times for the pool should be more flexible for children. And be careful if you want to drink water, £5 per each regular bottle of water will come in the bill.

Lovely location with some nice places to eat. Tesco Expressand Nisa supermarket closeby. Has paid parking available. Nice views and Emirates cable cars very closeby.
The problem I found which actually affected my sleep, and the reason i gave 3 stars (even though the hotel is nice) was that the bedrooms were so hot, the air con didnt work. I rang the reception so many times but no one picked up at least 7 times. Then they rang me back, I told them at 2am i needed a fan bcoz the aircon wasnt working. I waited & waited, rang again and, only at 6.30am, when i felt sick due to lack of sleep, no air and so much heat in the room, at 6.30am i was given a fan! If it wasnt for this, id have given more than 3 stars.

Nothing to rave about but a decent enough hotel. Location is great, with lots of food options just outside and plenty of things to do around but the hotel itself is (for want of a better word) "Meh". …

The beds were very uncomfortable, the room was freezing, and the heating didn't work; I only received one towel each and one water bottle. Front of house staff didn't make us feel very comfortable.

I thoroughly recommend this hotel. It is near Excel and a lovely walk along the river, the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

Public areas better than bedrooms. Rate didn't include breakfast and 2 days after checkout still have a pending £50 charge to my card "in case of any charges". Not very impressive.

Good hotel. Nice pool - good size for a hotel and good gym too. The hotel is in a good location - DLR very close. Good to have its own car park - £20 per day which isn't too bad for London. Service was ok but not great.
