V. J.I want to say special thanks to the young guy who was at the reception because he does his job professionally without any questions, which is very strong for you. I think that my friend and I will come again. Special thanks to the guys who prepared sushi because we took a sample on purpose. you cook there They really do and professionally As for the breakfast, of course the breakfast is at a very low level, I would rather not offer this breakfast at all, for the reason that we came there three loaves of bread, a jar of jam and some kind of cereal not breakfast It's just awful it's better not to offer at all if they offer it, it's better for everyone who ordered breakfast to have this breakfast in separate packages so that each person can get what he is supposed to have for breakfast
as for the rooms themselves, the rooms are of course made comfortably, I was very surprised that the bathroom had a jacuzzi, but I didn’t understand why no one pays attention to the fact that the tap is constantly flowing water. I can’t even imagine how much water flows out there for a week and I also want to separately to say thank you that they are quite comfortable, the only thing I don’t understand is why there were so few towels, since there were two of us, towels were calculated for 1 personI would also like you to pay attention to the fact that the lamp, which is located above the bed, you can directly see how much dirt and dust is on it. I think the one who cleans it to pay attention that these things can be vacuumed with an elementary vacuum cleaner, because of course it looks terrible.

I think some free water would go a long way. Breakfast was okay, however having fresh coffee would be nice, there is only bad quality instant. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
A. K.When we were booking was unaware that some rooms had no windows. My sister did request to be moved to a room with a window and the request was granted. The shared bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Wasn't crazy about how the water from the shower would soak the entire bathroom floor. This proved to be dangerous for my daughter who slipped and fell when she went in to use the loo after someone had taken a shower.
They did not serve the typical continental breakfast as expected. A nice hot breakfast was served upon request at no extra charge. Yummy:) On the morning my family and I left to go to Paris, a light breakfast, with juice was packed for all 9 of us to take with us. That was extremely thoughtful.
This is a fairly new hotel and the night manager had asked what could be done to improve our stay. The staff was very kind, friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again. I would just remember to request a room with a window since there is no air conditioning and July was really hot.

B. V. O.Very good price/quality range. Rooms are tidy and clean. Unfortunately there was only a small roof window in the room but we knew that beforehand so it wasn't a big problem. We stayed here at the end of October, I'd assume that in summer this room would be quite hot. There is a fan but no AC. Bathroom (en suite) was also nice but some of the finishing wasn't of the highest level but nothing to really complain about. Staff is incredibly friendly and the breakfast is pretty good. There's cereal grains, croissants and an English breakfast you can get.
The location is also good, 5 minutes from the metro station, and from there it's 15 minutes to the centre.
H. K.Very good service and welcoming staff at the check-in and breakfast. Everyone was warm and even when there were rowdy people in the hotel from a night out - staff made sure to tell them to quieten down at 3-4am as the rooms are close together. Very tidy and good shower.

I. B. P.A very pleasant surprise! I wasn't expecting to have such a clean and cozy hotel. A very special thanks has to go to the staff- all of them and in the evening and very early in the morning were very pleasant and helpful.
In addition my room had a shared bathroom- nothing wrong with that- perfectly clean , large and comfortable facilities with numerous private spaces.
M. H.Good room rates and very helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent and nothing was too much bother. Blackwell DLR is a 5 min walk away and takes you to Bank or Tower gateway. Room comes with a kettle and tea and coffee as well as bottles of water everyday. Great value.
R. D.The Docklands Lodge hotel is an ok-ish hotel, good for a single night. Conveniently located close to Canary wharf if you need to be there. The rooms are clean and quiet. Though some, like mine, had no window except the roof light, which you cannot open yourself. Minibar offered only a bottle of water. Breakfast is small limited to only croissants as bread. Coffee is good. Staff is very friendly and willing to help in any way they can. Overall a bit overpriced. Please like this review if useful. Thank you.

J. S.I quickly had to book a hotel via the internet a few days before because I had a business appointment nearby and didn't really check all the details, but found this hotel which was rather cheap in comparison.
Later, I checked the ticket and got a bit scared when I noticed that I had book "shared facilities" and didn't know what to expect. When I arrived there - five minutes by foot from the DLR station - I am kind of surprised. This neat little hotel which clearly sticks out from the neighborhood. Very clean, small but functional rooms that have everything yoo need, plus the decoration is pretty lovely.
The showers and bathrooms were very clean and working flawlessly, and there were more than enough on the floor so I didn't even have to wait for a free one either in the evening or the next morning, so that was perfect.
The staff is very nice and was helpful as well, breakfast was okay.
The only downside during my stay was that because there was a heat wave in London at the time (30°C) it got very hot in the rooms. The window couldn't be completely opened so we had to keep the room door open using objects in order to get at least a small amount of air flow.
Anyhow, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody.
K. L.Although quite small and a room with no window, it was very clean and modern and was a nice stay for a night. Only one negative , and that is that the staff appear to argue a lot and talk over each other, especially the manager when his staff are explaining something, he tends to take over a bit. Apart from that, it’s in a very good location, close to the O2

Hotel reasonable price for London, but outside of London I would not pay what I did. Convienitent for the DLR and Cannary Wharf. Personally for myself this hotel would be a 1 possibly 2 night stay maximum, although I know other guests have stayed for 1 week +.
Breakfast didnt stay to try as was meeting a friend for breakfast in Canary Wharf.

C. L.Good sized room with very well appointed ensuite. Adequate range of food on offer for breakfast in an air conditioned restaurant. Room very hot in the recent heatwave partly due to the fact that there was only a small openable window in the room.
If visiting in a cooler time of the year would definitely use the hotel again when visiting the O2.
T. G.Great place to stay, whether you're on a budget or not. We booked one room for 4 students for 608€, breakfast included. Rooms were always neat and clean, the shared bathroom was clean as well. Breakfast was simple, but sufficient and tasty (omelet with mushrooms, tomatoes, hash browns..., fruit, tea, cornflakes...) The metrostation of Blackwall was about a 3 minute walk from the hotel and brings you to Bank (Central Line near Liverpool Street) or Tower Hill/Gateway (Circle and District lines). Personnel was always friendly and the information desk was open 24/7.
D. J.Great for the price. Cheap, quiet, very clean with a great level of service. Shared bathrooms wouldn't be for everyone. Location isn't too far from transport links and I used this venue when attending an event at Excel London.
Breakfast isn't up to Novotel or ibis standards but it's fine.

our room was located on the third floor (last floor) and man the heat in there was killing us
the weather in london was around 28°C and our room was even hotter.
no ac only one small fan and one big cube sized fan which simply blows hot air into your face.
dont count on the window, it is super small and wont help you
i have to admit that without these fans our night would be even more unbearable
the room was clean although a little bit tiny
the bathroom was big and the shower great
you got a hair dryer, shampoo and shower gel provided by the hotel
i have to say that the cleaning staff is lets say average, they throwed away my belongings into the trash. luckily i managed to get them back.
the rooms comes with a handy smartphone that you can take outside for sighseeing, REALLY COOL
although i booked a deluxe room with a SINGLE double bed i got a two bed room. they had to push them together but in the end there still was a big gap between our beds...

The hotel is clean and modern. The rooms are as described on the homepage. However, be aware that there are rooms with private bathroom and no private bathroom. If you have a room without a private bathroom, you have to use the bathrooms in the hallway. The breakfast could have been richer. The service staff was always friendly and helpful. With public transport it was a stone's throw to the city center.

Das Hotel ist sauber und modern eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind so wie auf der Homepage beschrieben. Man sollte jedoch darauf achten, dass es Zimmer mit eigenem Bad und ohne eigenem Bad gibt. Wenn man ein Zimmer ohne eigenem Bad hat, muss man die Bäder auf dem Flur nutzen. Das Frühstück hätte reichhaltiger sein können. Das Servicepersonal war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln war es ein Katzensprung in die Innenstadt.

Breakfast was really excellent and plentiful, nothing is too much trouble for the staff. There is tea and coffee in the room with a kettle and all you need.
The bathroom was spacious but it was a real fridge, it was very cold. The view was not great, everything is under construction around but we did not come for that. The underground is a stone's throw away and about 30 minutes from the center of London, beware that it can quickly get expensive in underground tickets.

Super hôtel avec un bon rapport qualité/prix, nous avions une chambre tranquille et assez spacieuse.
Le petit déjeuner était vraiment excellent et copieux, le personnel est aux petits soins. Il y a du thé et du café dans la chambre avec une bouilloire et tout ce qu'il faut.
La salle de bain était spacieuse mais c'était un vrai frigo, il y faisait très froid. La vue était pas top, tout est en travaux autour mais on ne venait pas pour ça. Le métro est à deux pas et a environ 30min du centre de Londres, attention cela peut vite faire cher en tickets de métro.

Quelques petits bémols au niveau de la température des chambres qui était trop chaude, le ventilateur fourni n'arrivait pas à refroidir la chambre et nous avons donc passé 2 nuits compliquées. Quelques cheveux et traces dans la baignoire...

Os quartos são confortáveis, mas os económicos não tem casa de banho no quarto. A casa de banho era partilhada com os restantes clientes do piso onde ficamos. O duche e os sanitários são no mesmo espaço o que nem sempre é agradável, pois pode ficar com os chinelos molhados consequência de um banho prévio. As camas não são muito compridas e se for alto corre o risco de ficar com os pés de fora. O pequeno almoço é tipicamente britânico :). Quanto ao pessoal, à chegada não tivemos o quarto que pretendíamos e foi difícil conseguirmos aquilo que tínhamos combinado com a agência, foi preciso insistir muito e chamar o gerente. No dia seguinte mudaram de atitude e encheram-nos de atenções. Não tinha elevador.

Je recommande vivement cet hôtel calme et situé face à la ligne de bus 15 qui mène à Trafalgar Square et proche d une station de métro qui permet de se retrouver en 30mn au centre de Londres. Le personnel de l hôtel est très accueillant. Le petit déjeuner y est très copieux servi par Abus qui est très aimable et serviable. Les chambres sont très agréables et bien équipées : sèche cheveux de qualité, bouilloire, thé, eau et mini bar. Les sanitaires collectifs sur chaque palier sont neufs et très propres. Aucune attente pour prendre une douche. Les serviettes sont changées chaque jour.

Vraiment super ! Bel hôtel, un personnel prévenant et un petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux . Le seul point de défaut : pas de climatisation !! Arrivé dans une période de forte chaleur à Londres (plus de 30℃), les nuits ont été très inconfortables.
Dommage, car c'est un hôtel extra à proximité de l'O2.

Students who want to sleep well may have to spend more money to stay in other hotels. But because of the cheap price and its location, we endured it.
Other considerations: each floor is a public toilet and shower room, which has no effect on us. There is no good restaurant within walking distance.
