Best hotel I’ve stayed at in London! Lovely room couldn’t fault it. The breakfast is what made the stay so enjoyable. If you decide to stay here definitely pay for the breakfast you won’t be disappointed. Food is constantly replenished, of really good standard and lots of choice! Setting is so lovely and peaceful and staff were lovely. A lovely stay, I hope to be back soon! What a lovely gem of a hotel!

Over the past two months I've stayed a total of 12 days at this hotel. The last trip was over Christmas with the family in two rooms. The Hotel is located on the NW corner of Hyde Park in a nice neighborhood. It is close to 3 tube stations/lines and a little over a mile to Paddington station and a very nice walk to the everything else. We used the tube, rail extensively and still managed to enjoy walking over 70 miles over the course of our 6 day visit. The Hotel/Restaurant staff is wonderful. Welcoming, warm and kind, you can't ask for better. The buffet style breakfast they offered was very good. The Hotel is clean and well kept. The queen rooms, while smaller, were updated, clean and very comfortable for two people.

The room was a bit on the small side with a view over the car park, but it was clean. However the heating appeared to be broken with little to no heat coming out of it. It also said the filter needed changing?! The coffee machine in the room seemed to be a gimmick - made a lot of noise, tepid muddy coffee. The breakfast was brilliant though with a good range and excellent quality. We have stayed at other Doubletrees and been much more impressed. Definitely more 3 than 4 star.

Room was spacious and clean .
Room service not available from 8pm which was disappointing as we couldn’t eat in the restaurant due to Christmas parties.
Also noise forms large group of young people meant we had no sleep on the Saturday night. Police arrived to sort out but a nights sleep lost.
Very noisy when we went downstairs for a drink from the same large group .
Returned to the hotel after previous early December break but it wasn’t like this the last time, disappointed.

Love staying at this hotel. This is my third visit! Staff are so friendly. It's in a great location and reasonably priced.

Super generic city hotel. They've attempted to add character to the room with a splash of orange here and there, but nothing too extravagant. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfy. Bathroom was a decent enough size, however the shower head was not high enough to make showering comfortable for a tall person.

A well located hotel, room was clean, bathroom tired, could do with a fresh lick of paint in places. Breakfast was good, self-service, very clean and staf attentive. Due to covid you have to ask if you want your room freshened up daily.
The only think I would say is check your finances as errors were made, and are still not rectified to my satisfaction. How the company take money from your account was not explained very well.
Would I stay here again, no, as the financial mix up spoiled the experience.

Well appointed (and clean) rooms. Excellent service and wonderful location across from Kensington/Hyde parks and a block from Queensway tube. The restaurant could do with a bigger selection for lunch/dinner but, overall, I would recommend it.

Richard a server from the restaurant of the Double tree restaurant was AMAZING! He was funny, helpful and sooooo polite. I'd definitely recommend asking for him when you visit.
Food was good, he made great suggestions when asking about the menu.
Would definitely go back.

Hotel staff is pleasant and helpful. Hotel and room is clean, location was near underground and easy to get around city.

We love the location/neighborhood, and the close proximity to two different tube (subway) stops close by. This was our second time staying at this location, and would love to come back again the next time we come to London. We also love the Champion Pub/Restaurant which is only 5-min. walk.

Overall it was a pleasant stay with some minor issues. Location is very good with a bus stop just round the corner and two tube stations which are about a 10 minute walk about. The breakfast is satisfactory, but I expected more from a 4 star hotel. Queen sized room was advertised as soundproof and it didn’t seem soundproofed at all. Noises could easily be heard from the other rooms. My partner was initially charged for water, while the guests in front of her were given complimentary water? I asked the staff if they would reconsider this charge in which they did. I would advise to book breakfast in advance as it’s £7.50 more if you do not. Make sure that if you change your mind about pre booked breakfast that you go to the reception to inform them as they will try to charge you if you don’t. Some of the staff are really friendly, and some seem quite cold. I was blatantly ignored by what appeared to be one of the hotel managers when I approached him in the restaurant to ask how I pay for the breakfast. He must have heard me as my partner heard me asking for his attention while she was sat down at the table. He simply walked past me with his blazer tucked into the back of his trousers without making eye contact. The majority of the reception staff and restaurant staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough to make my stay enjoyable!

A lovely hotel in a fantastic location, very clean with extremely helpful and polite reception staff.
A couple of small issues with housekeeping and room service that were eventually resolved, but overall exactly what you expect from Hilton.
Would stay there again, no problem.
N. K.
Cosy stay located close to the tube. Room was clean with essential amenities. Could do with a few more wall hooks for coat near the entrance as well as additional ones in the bathroom. Slight struggle finding places to hang.
R. E.
Superb hotel in a great location - I always enjoy my stays here, & the hotel's secure car park is extremely useful.
J. L.
Had the afternoon tea as a buyagift voucher with a bottle of prosecco.
The food was okay, it didn't feel like made on premises but ordered in. Especially the desserts.
Service was good. Prosecco was alright. It was a gift so didn't expect too much, was not overly wowed and not disappointed either.
Would I recommend? Probably I won't buy it for myself, there are more better options out there. Environment was nice.
M. M.
We just had a 2 night stay at this hotel for our visit to winter wonderland perfect location lovely staff clean rooms and lovely breakfast can't fault this hotel
H. C.
Great location and convenient for accessing the tube. The staff were great and very welcoming. In my opinion paying extra for the balcony was a waste of money as it was not very private and we didn't use it.
R. C.
Fairly good hotel in a nice location. But I wouldn't stay again as they are very slow to refund (still have not received it) the £60 room deposit they too off me (for nothing).😠
S. A.
Pleasant stay close to everything so location wad great, parking was available which was really good.
Wish there were windows in the rooms so at least could get fresh air in as room can get really stuffy.
F. R.
Nice hotel. Very good staff particularly the man who helped us checking in and out (Mr Adi) Forgot the name.
Good location.
M. P.
Nice and clean. Excellent customer service, the reason I rate it 3 stars is the room and bathroom are tiny and no fridge.
R. D.
A very good hotel, friendly staff and found our family stay extremely comfortable.
W. I.
Overall my experience was great, staffs were very helpful and friendly.Breakfast was good and the location of the hotel was perfect.

Safe, Homely . Staff is co-operative and ensures to make the stay memorable and easy to enjoy.

Brilliant location, attentive and friendly staff. Room was very clean.

Great location. Nice room. great staff... exactly what I was expecting from Doubletree!
G. E.
Lovely hotel, easy to get to when you get your bearings. Room very nice and breakfast top class
O. N.
Great place very quiet, easy access to the underground tube, right next to kennsington Park and the Oxford tube stop. The staff really look after their visitors, any issues they are more than happy to help with.
J. M.
Clean, friendly. Staff are very polite and helpful. Beds are comfortable and spacious
N. C.
Fantastic service really felt like they wanted us there great evening
J. H.
Travelling with my wife for a short break (away from the children) - take in a show etc. Location was good, easy access to Central, District and circle lines.
Staff were very attentive and helpful. Room was as expected, large comfortable bed. Well serviced and very little street noise.
Would be happy to book again, subject to suitable deal on price.

I absolutely love this hotel! I've been visiting London for the past 6 years and this hotel is wonderful! Great staff, great meals, and more importantly great Location. Looking forward to staying again in June when I visit with my son.
M. S.
I loved this hotel! Very conveniently located near an underground station, the Big Bus tour stops right in front of it. The hotel's Urban Meadow cafe offers breakfast dishes all day and I found the food to be both good and affordable. They make fresh juices as well. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly and the concierge was extremely helpful. He solved our issue of transportation to the airport when we could not get a cab big enough to pick us up and even offered to exchange my old currency tender for me. The view of Hyde Park is lovely as well. Overall a great stay and I would highly recommend.
A. D.
Great hotel in an excellent location for central London/ Notting Hill/ Kensington. Rooms are comfortable. Get one on high floor with park view. Staff are helpful.
K. B.
Hilton is right beside Kensington Gardens North-side entrance.
The coffee was a great pick-me- up on the rainy days.
Staff are professional.
Tables are spaced out.
Thank you.
C.
A very nice and clean hotel in a convenient location! It is less than 10 mins walk from 3 different tube stations. The room is clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff are attentive if you have any issues. There is a large selection of food in the breakfast buffet.
L. C.
Been here twice now, one time for afternoon tea and one for Brunch and I loved both. Food is always fresh. I visited yesterday for brunch, bought the deal from Time Out - unlimited starters, one main course, unlimited desserts and unlimited prosecco all for £19 per person, what a bargain. The starters were a selection of salads, pate, smoked salmon, fish, all were delicious. I had burger and fries for my main and a selection of mini desserts. It was extremely busy (not surprising with deals like this), although there was lots of staff, service was a little slow and we had to catch their attention to come to our table, however the staff were great, helpful, polite and accommodating
D. S. F. (.
Nice hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast average. Had to move rooms because of noisy aircon units at rear of hotel. Room was OK but chilly, heating was not working and was very loud when turned on. Hotels always seem to have poor temperature control. Nice view out of the Window.
H. L.
Good location
Comfortable bed and room size
Amenities are good
Air conditioning is good
Service from staff depends. Some are very good but some are very rude
The Service protocol is good. After check I’m to the room, they called to check if everything ok. And they have issue in the ground floor for corridor and email me to offer upgrade to another floor and better room . They also offer very nice cookies! Love it so much
N. B.
Hotel is in a great location by Hyde Park, close to the Underground and bus stops. Very affordable price. Staff are very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Beds are comfortable, great shower, and convenient restaurant with patio connected to the hotel. The only problem we had was trying to communicate with one of the housekeeping attendants. We had some issue to trying to receive the Hilton 500 bonus points in exchange for not having our room serviced. Other than that, everything was great. Will definitely consider staying at this hotel again in our next visit to London.
A. G.
Great location, nice rooms
m. m.
Very pleasant staff, surroundings could do with brightening up.
We had the afternoon tea it was as would be expected and included a bottle of Prosecco. All of good quality but scones where small.
All in all worth a visit but dont travel miles to visit
R. S.
Stayed here from 2/14-2/19, 2020. We stayed on the 7th floor and couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. Location is excellent, and the rooms are clean and stylish.
Unlike other rooms in Bayswater, this room includes a small refrigerator and a Nespresso machine. Would have liked a microwave to heat up leftovers, but oh well.
The room is quiet. Heard nobody our whole stay, which is easily the most important factor for us. We've stayed in much fancier (& expensive) hotels with paper thin walls and loud neighbors all night.
Only real complaint is bathroom related. Shower was difficult to use due to very non-user friendly dials. Tub was tapered, which was uncomfortable when sitting or even standing too close to the dials.
Also, we were never supplied with washcloths, but these towels that were larger than the floor mat, but smaller than the extra large bath sheets. It's awkward scrubbing your body with basically giant floor mat towels.
Anyway, I would definitely come back and breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was fantastic (included with stay because we have status.)
s. m.
Very good location. Easy bus stops in front of the hotel. Bus no 94 to Marble Arch and no 128 to Shepard bush. Service excellent. No doubt. Breakfast was always good. All in all we will stay here again when we come to London.
P. R.
Very nice welcoming for real. You receive even warm cookies and that's insane.
Really nice staff and very helpful. Amazing place to stay, it's more than a hotel. It's a place where the extra mile in customer service is really taken. I warmly recommend and definitely I'll be back anytime I'll be around. It's a 1 choice definitely. But hey, don't believe me, try it yourself! Enjoy it :)
R. S.
Good hotel, room with bath very comfortable. Staff have gone out of their way to help particularly the reception staff and guest services. Breakfast lovely with great choice of Continental or cooked breakfast.
H. C.
Really comfy bed, quiet and very clean - Great spot for nipping into central London and Kensington Gardens. Excellent price too
A. V.
Good
Bus and train station close by location are good this time use texi there is plenty more bus
M. M.
Had a lovely afternoon tea. Staff were very friendly and enjoyed the food and proseco.
J. W.
Very flat pillows. Very stingy with tea bags. Only 2 a day unless u asked. ( There were 2 of us ) so only one cuppa a day . There was a flickering light in the bathroom & only one bedside light worked. But room service was excellent & delicious.
Staff could be a bit more welcoming on arrival. They should Take tips from double tree in Liverpool, it was all excellent.
R. M.
Clean, fancy, neat, friendly staff, but there was road works straight outside our room and it was very noisy the whole day. The rooms are also very small, our suit cases hardly fitted in the room. Breakfast was great!
E. H.
Beautiful place for cafe but the menu selection is too boring.
D. J.
Disappointed to ve honest rooms weren't that great despite asking for two rooms together would not return
M. O.
It is beautiful Hotel ,quiet and clean.

Came here with my friend for afternoon tea. Pretty quiet environment with lovely lighting and simple interior design. Palm trees provide a more casual vibe for the dining space.
Waitress are very friendly and always pay attention to what their customers may need.
The taste of afternoon tea is okay, nothing failed but also nothing impressive. Prosecco is smooth. The whole environment is good to go and catch-up with friends and relax for hours.
H. H.
A little bit tired and in need of some redecoration but basically comfortable, clean and functional. Recently fitted bathrooms. Pretty good, budget breakfast buffet. Very easy to log on Wi-Fi. No passwords or having to provide loads of personal data, just a couple of clicks and you're online.
I'd recommend this as a budget stay for business or a couple of nights if sightseeing, etc. For a longer stay in London, you may want something more upmarket.
P. G.
Surprisingly good and overall an excellent, keenly price hotel experience. The road facing rooms are a little on the noisy side due to the day time traffic passing by and the absence of double glazing.. But if you can get a good deal, this is a place worth considering to stay when on leisure or business trip to London. Access to public transportation is second to none.
l. b.
Great hotel. Situated nearby to all tourist sites. Staff very nice, helpful and professional. Room large comfortable. Restaurant in first floor with good prices.
S. A. A.
Our experience was good
We enjoyed the cookies they give away at the reception, it really is a highlight, kudos for that.
But the receptionist told us the breakfast is until 11 am, information which was not correct and made us miss breakfast, they made up for the mistake with a complimentary brunch.
Overall, nice service with a small misshap.
I. P.
Convenient location with central line (Queensway) just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Had a very nice Deluxe Double room with balcony. Didn't spend too much time at the hotel due to a late arrival and early departure but everything had a nice new, clean look to it. Shower was excellent and white conditioning worked fine which was important in the current 30 degree heat in London. Breakfast had a good selection of English breakfast items as well as fruits and cereals, all in buffet format.
R. I.
Was nice stay in the hotel room and staffed amazing
S. W.
The room service was very good. Rooms were well cleaned and comfortable. Will stay here again!
A. M. H.
Lovely clean hotel. Room with overview of the tucked in backstreets of classic London. Soft madras, and a bath room with an actual bath tub! Very friendly staff and great location to Hyde Park, close to connections on the underground.
P. C.
Modern Hotel with view on Hyde Park and few minutes from the city center via bus or underground. Room and bathroom are big enough and well cleaned. Good English and continental breakfast. I really appreciated the initiative to save cleaning energy. All people in the hotel are very nice. Ask for welcome cookies. A must!
N. B.
Just perfect.
I am originally from Ethiopia although living and working in England now, Hilton hotel has never disappointed us in all our stays in different countries. From their rustic to contemporary room feel to their brilliant staff and customer services in the hotel as well as their operators, truly deserve five star. Special thanks
to the young lady (sorry not caught her name ) who checked us in today after our long journey and made it more welcoming. From Natnael and Yvvone Wong.
T. R.
Very convenient, very clean and very organised with regards to Covid cleanliness.
s. l.
A well looked after hotel with a good ambiance. The staff were really attentive and helpful. We ate in the restaurant, which was really busy, but the staff kept it ticking over nicely.
R. E. R.
Rooms are small but nice, although you hear a lot of noise in the hallway. Free breakfast as a gold member...solid buffet but a few more choices would be nice. Excellent location across from Hyde Park and very close to 2 tube stations.
J. C.
Had high expectation but not really live up to the reputation. Quite crowded in most areas, lobby, lift, room itself. The drainage is not designed well so constantly having issue with blooding in the bathroom and sometimes and toilet not flushing either. Sometimes even awful smell in the room. The breakfast is mediocre with very limited options. Positive thing would be the location, very centre next to Hyde park and close to tube station but not noisy. With the discrepancy between its rate and quality, not the best choice in the area.
B. R.
Excellent location and a beautiful hotel to stay in.
J. S.
Stayed overnight for a work event. Good location and a nice clean decor. Staff at reception were not particularly friendly and had a limited grasp of english and very strong accents which made check less than enjoyable. All the other staff in the bar / resturant and the concierage however were very friendly and helpful. Room was very good and had all the basics including iron, ironing board, safe, coffee (filter and instant), tea and a good bathroom. Prices are typical for London and the brand.
L. S.
Very nice and clean room. The beds was great. They gave us cookies when we arrived and they was very tasty. We had no problems when we was at the hotel.
C. E.
Great location and comfy beds. Very well placed opposite Hyde Park and tube a 5 minute walk. Really good breakfast and quiet bedrooms , shower good . Clean room with tea making and Nespresso machine. 40 inch tv and free WiFi. When we asked for another pillow and blanket arrived very quickly. My only small gripe was net curtains looked a bit grubby but no other complaints. Staff very friendly and helpful.
E. T.
The room itself was fantastic! Newly renovated or well kept, the bathroom layout and lighting was well designed in the room and made it very cozy even though the room was small. It was functional and everything had its place.
There was a huge wardrobe and coffee/Nespresso area where you can ask for more pods.
DoubleTree is also known for giving out free and warm cookies each time you pass the front desk to ask.
It was one of the best stays I’ve had in recent memory and to have this experience in London was memorable indeed.
The location: it was a few minutes walk to the nearest tube station but that wasn’t too big an issue. The buses literally stop right in front of the hotel so that was useful in inclement weather.
The view from our hotel faced West and we would look out really far on a nice clear London day.
J. B.
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of November. We stayed in a King delux room which was plenty big enough and we had a lovely view from floor 6 over Hyde Park and the London skyline. Hyde Park is just across the road from the hotel and we had a wonderful afternoon walk into central London...
The hotel is very close to Queensway (Central Line) and Bayswater (District / Circle Line). There are plenty of restaurants close by, and the breakfast at the hotel is good with attentive staff.
We stay at Hilton Hotels regularly around the UK and across the globe. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. In particular the net curtains were grey crumpled and dirty; they looked like they had been there for years! Someone had drawn on the headboard and the bed linen was stained slightly.
The duty manager made this right. It took longer than expected to resolve everything but the duty manager (Alberto) gave his sincere apologies and gave us a complimentary bowl of fruit for which we were most grateful.
In summary, this is a nice cosy hotel close to tube stations and local restaurants and a great place to base yourselves if visiting London and don't want to be in the heart of the city. Hyde Park being so close is real bonus too!
M.
Always great service and a great location for any public transport
M. J. P.
Visited for an afternoon tea: the service was decent and the amount of served food was average. On the other hand the pastries and sandwiches were definitely fresher than what you get for similar promotions. The place itself is luminous and fairly clean. There is space for large groups as well.
D. L.
The hotel is clean with friendly staff. The rooms are sufficiently comfortable. My one complaint is that the kitchen struggles to get the food out in time for breakfast in the morning when we would arrive as they opened.
A. L.
I know it's been a while, but I wanted to leave this much deserved review. My husband and I had an amazing four-night stay here in early May 2015.
We arrived at the hotel a couple hours earlier than usual check-in time, after a grueling 9 hour flight (worst flight ever, hands down) and a white-knuckle drive from Heathrow in our rental car. Checking in, I was smelly, worn out, and felt very grumpy, but staff at the front desk were cheerful, friendly, professional, and accommodating. The warm, gooey chocolate/toffee cookies that the gal at the front desk handed us were the best things that had happened to us that morning/early-afternoon. The fact that we were a little early was no problem; they checked us right in.
Our room was nice and cool, very quiet, and spotless. The bed was soft and comfortable. While the rooms are a little smaller than the average American hotel room, my husband and I had plenty of room. There was a good selection of coffees and teas in the room, as well as some awesome smelling bath items in the bathroom. Housekeeping was on the ball each day, restocking and doing a great job. Free Wi-Fi is offered onsite.
The hotel has parking onsite, underground, but you do have to pay for it - 25 British pounds per day (at that time). It was totally worth it, and I appreciated it all the more after staying in a hotel in Dublin a few days later with no parking onsite. We ended up not needing the car at all, since London's public transportation is so awesome! There is an elevator from the parking garage up to the lobby area, so transporting our luggage up to the room was very easy.
There are two Underground stations within walking distance, and the hotel itself is in a very good area - close to Kensington Palace, Hyde Park, and Notting Hill. We had a great time walking around the area, visiting the pubs and taking the tube everywhere.
The hotel restaurant - Urban Meadow - was also very good; the food was traditional with some variety (burgers, pork chops, steaks, lamb, curry, etc.). We had dinner there at least two nights, and breakfast every morning but one. They have both a traditional English breakfast buffet (about 13 British pounds at the time), but you can also order a-la-carte, which is great if you can't eat the full traditional breakfast.
One of the best things about our stay was the staff, especially at the restaurant. Every single person I saw that worked at the hotel was always smiling, always saying hello, always welcoming. Paula in the restaurant always made sure to come over and say hello and ask how our day had been. We had such an awesome time there, I was extremely sad to have to leave.
I highly recommend this hotel, whether you're staying for just one night or several.
S. P.
No huge complaints. Decent sized room, quiet and dark (bright with lights and curtains opened obviously) and seems fresh and up to date. Very comfortable bed - enormous and firm. Let down slightly by drinks table service being very slow, but actually if you're not in a rush this probably isn't going to be a dealbreaker.
T. M.
Two nights stay at Double Tree By Hilton London - Hyde Park was wonderful. The Front desk's staffs are well trained, helpful, friendly and efficient. Bell men helped me to carry my heavy luggage to room. The bed is comfortable. Every year I …
J. D.
This hotel is okay. Unfortunately we were assigned to an accessible room, which normally would be okay but in this case, had a sink the size of one you'd normally find in a camper! The bed was as comfortable as possible, but filled up most of the room. The location is quiet and pretty, across from the park, but not that close to any action.
K. P.
Consistently friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable guestroom. Great location convenient to just about everywhere we wanted to go, via Tube or walking. For quietest rooms try #254 or in that area away from Bayswater Road.
C. P.
Great place to have a leisurely breakfast at the weekend.
it is a tourist hotel and the breakfast is buffet style.
£12.00 for cereal, cold meats, porridge, muesli, juices and the usual hot breakfast choices.
Sunday papers and take your to.
the hotel is opposite Kensington Park so I usually go for a long early walk and pop in for a relaxed breakfast.
the staff are lovely.
highly recommended
M. S.
I have a good experience with this hotel I recommend it and at the reception These people are very great very nice Therefore I recommend this hotel.
B. G.
Great location with great facilities. The breakfast is wonderful, the view is really nice. If you are lucky, you will have a room with the park view. Walking in the park in the morning is a great experience. Great price and performance rate, highly recommended
J. W.
This hotel was perfect for us. In such a great location, walking distance to most attractions. Buffet breakfast was great and offered gluten free food
E. L.
Great experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and we had a good view of Hyde Park. We originally planned on staying at a hotel down the street (Royale Chulan) but since we had issues with that place we stopped in and asked for a room. Reception was very friendly and understanding of our situation.
A. K.
We enjoyed our stay. Reasonable price at a good location. Not too far from nearest tube, so not too far to drag your bags! Right on the edge of Hyde Park & Kensington Gardens; so we couldn't resist a sunny winter Sunday morning walk down to the Royal Albert Hall.
E. L.
The hotel is beautiful and in a perfect location. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and had great amenities. Will definitely be back!
M. A.
It’s the the third time for me it’s a nice place and you can take 94 bus to Selfridges and the same bus to Westfeld mall . The staff are friendly
T. J. (.
Nothing special. Clean Room (Thank you Housekeeping!) Pretty standard hotel but with really small rooms and WiFi is really slow; my mobile phone was 30 times faster! Hotel 3 Mbps; cell phone 30 Mbps. I would stay here again; I did not eat at the restaurant. Staff seems nice in the few interactions I had with them.
c.
Very small room. Very pricey but clean and comfortable. Close to subway. Room service food not that great for us. Stayed an extra day and they wouldn't give us the room for the same price and charged us much more $ for that extra day.
A. B.
Nice hotel, good location and generally good rates. The restaurant service leaves a bit to be desired and a very late breakfast start time on weekends considering its London. Rooms are also tiny...
S. H.
Clean rooms, nice location by the park. Convenient to the underground. A walk across Hyde Park to museums. Downside is that it's a bit self-service: nobody is in too much of a hurry to help. Overall, would stay again for convenience and price.
N. D.
Rooms and Hotel to a good standard for London. Nice view from 7th floor. Only negatives were the car park is tiny and couldn't park due to vintage cars being stored there and the quality of some of the breakfast items could be improved.
D. D.
The front desk is not very friendly! We had to deal with Mara Barbieri upon arrival and she was not welcoming at all...did not smile once! She made us feel like we were bothering her. As a matter of fact, I didn't see her smile once during our stay!
When we went to checkout there were four people behind the counter and not a single person acknowledged us, and we had to wait a while before one of the four would help us. D. Dattoli finally checked us out and she didn't seem friendly at all either. She didn't even thank us for staying. She simply said, here's your deposit and sign here!
Kudos to Amir H. who was extremely helpful, kind, and was always smiling and polite. He was so welcoming!
The hotel is in a great location! There's also an awesome Nespresso coffee machine in the room. The rooms are small, but very comfy. The air conditioning works great and the breakfast is amazing.
M. W.
Nice location on the edge of Hyde Park, only a short walk from several tube stations and Paddington. Staff are always friendly. Good quality rooms. Great buffet breakfast. And of course the DoubleTree choc cookie on arrival is delicious!
B. W. (.
The staff here are top notch. I work for Hilton in the US and was more than pleased at the service rendered by everyone from the breakfast staff, front desk staff, front office manager and a special shoutout to Amir the concierge for helping me in arranging a proposal to my fiancee.
Clean rooms and quiet. This is how a Hilton should be run.
A. A. H.
Excellent staff at the Car. Had delightful lunch on terrace. Superb and so inexpensive. Well done and thank you. Thoroughly recommended
T. C.
Very helpful and knowledgeable of area. Enjoyed so much and will use again when we return. Location excellent, great English breakfast, rooms
very clean and just the right size. Recommend to stay anytime.

A lovely cafe/restaurant. Afternoon tea was great. All fresh. Staff were polite and friendly. It was clean. Good outside space to eat and relax. It was a perfect afternoon.
S. K.
Very good deal for London. Great location, decent cafe, good clean rooms . But watch out for busy waiters who tell you that breakfast is included in the room rate , to avoid dealing with a la Carte orders. You will get charged and 20 GPB each is a rip off !!
M. J.
Nice room, good location and great breakfast. Only downside was being woken by housekeeping at 8.30 asking what time we were leaving as they wanted to clean the room. Checkout wasn't until 12!
R. D.
The hotel was far too hot and the air con unit in the room was far too noisy, so you had the choice of roasting alive at night or not sleeping due to noise. I don't usually complain about being too hot, but I was to hot here.
Walls are paper thin, so I could hear nextdoors mobile phone vibrating as well as every aspect of the phone call.
However, other than that the hotel was comfortable with extremely friendly and attentive staff. It's closeness to Queensgate tube station made it a very handy location.
A. M.
Good hotel in a convenient location - just a 5-minute walk from 3 tube stations. Also, a walking distance to Portobello market (Notting hill). Rooms look a little outdated and bathrooms are small, but everything is clean and well-maintained. Good breakfast.
N. X.
Nice and clean. Great breakfast choice. Comfortable bed. Noisy air con and single pane windows transmit outside noise. Super location, efficient staff.
C. M.
We had our Christmas lunch here while in London for Christmas, the lunch was lovely and the service was great so very happy with our meal, the resturant could have had more of a Christmas feel though.
E. L.
The hotel is beautiful and in a perfect location. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and had great amenities. Will definitely be back!
J. D.
This hotel is okay. Unfortunately we were assigned to an accessible room, which normally would be okay but in this case, had a sink the size of one you'd normally find in a camper! The bed was as comfortable as possible, but filled up most …
S. B.
Unassuming but lovely hotel. Good good and friendly staff!
The drainage is not designed well so constantly having issue with blooding in the bathroom and sometimes and toilet not …
J. B.
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of November. We stayed in a King delux room which was plenty big enough and we had a lovely view from floor 6 over Hyde Park and the London skyline. Hyde Park is just across the road from …
M. L.
Beautiful staff on the desk more than happy to help us, and concierge really nice too. Awesome :)
W. B.
I Always stay at this hotel when staying in London. Rooms are clean and well laid out. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Excellent location.
P. B.
The location is good right next to Queensway tube station and Hyde Park, however rooms are small and could do with some upgrading. No upgrade for Hilton Gold, housekeeping didn't bother cleaning the room despite us being out all day. Breakfast is acceptable and staff seem friendly. There are much better Hiltons in London in my opinion
A. S.
Afternoon tea: the service was excellent, the waiting staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the sandwiches and the scones, they were fresh and tasty. Sadly the cakes were not so good, they looked old and lower quality.
G. S.
Nice enough rooms and the staff are very friendly. The hallways are drab however and the floors are not completely accessible by the lifts. Good location right next to Hyde Park.
r. z.
Nice small hotel with access to 2 tube stations and opposite the Kensington garden. Lot of eating places nearby along with supermarkets. However away from the heart of the city bustle. Will suit you if you are looking for peace and quiet.
C. H.
Double bed, large tv, small bar fridge, cupboard with safe. Unable to work out how to change the aircon temperature as it seems preset. Lovely staff, very helpful
M. H.
Very well located hotel with nice staff and a very friendly manager only the rooms are small, especially the bathrooms are tiny.
L. S.
Reception staff very nice, but housekeeping very disruptive in the morning. Checkout was at 12 yet they banged on our door at 8.45 and 10, letting themselves in both times, even though we called out to them
R. L.
Very good location, good breakfast, room was a little worn but sufficient. Amazing cookie on check in.
P. H.
Great staff to help you check in and check out. Rooms clean tidy. Plus great menus for breakfast and all other occasions. Will be back shortly
P. H.
This hotel is in a great location for the price comfortable room and friendly staff
P. W.
Very nice room, and entrance would stay again however would not eat I the restaurant again as not many veggie options or drink option which was disappointing. I would also advise the cleaners to dust the bed lamp shades
T. B.
Five stars because it's a gold standard to what I would expect a perfect stay in a hotel to be. Great bed, clean room, nice bar with top drinks, great buffet breakfast and attentive staff to boot.
E. H.
We booked a table for afternoon tea. Food was good, they had a wide selection of teas and the prosecco was excellent. Service was a little slow however despite the abundance of staff.
W. B. D.
Handy location, excellent and friendly service, found in a very recently renovated hotel. Rooms are modern, quiet, comfortable. The works. Breakfast was delicious.
R. C.
Amazing afternoon tea even had a birthday brownie for my boo vegan freindly
J. D.
Great location and staff could not be more provisional and helpful. Price is good for the location.
C.
Good hotel placed in a really nice district. The staff is kind and the rooms are clean. Very comfortable bed and pillows.
C. M.
We had our Christmas lunch here while in London for Christmas, the lunch was lovely and the service was great so very happy with our meal, the resturant could have had more of a Christmas feel though.
P. B.
Good area near notting hill, clean cosy rooms, ok breakfast. It has a small gym. But I would say it’s definitely overpriced - the one in city is cheaper and so much nicer
J. R.
A stay on the executive floor is fantastic. Expansive rooms and a quiet executive lounge are a welcome retreat from the airport. One of the best stays I've had.
J. L. G.
Just booked a day parking here. But went in for a quick chat with reception and found extremely welcoming staff. Thanks Moriba and Sergio for your warm welcome.
C. C.
Great location, easy to access to shops, restaurants. Room price is a bit too expensive. Some staff ate not that helpful.
G. N.
Nice place to stay, opposite Hyde Park but they charged me £30 for parking at the hotel. Was supposed to be £25. Will see if I get the other £5 refunded.
B. C.
We attended the restaurant to have hot drinks however was informed we couldn't do so as breakfast was on and we could eat and drink but not drink only. This was delivered in a very polite and courteous manner.
K. G.
This is our new go-to place in London. The location is fantastic. Hyde Park is across the street with Kensington Palace about 10 minutes walk. Queensway tube stop on the Central line is just a few minutes walk away. Around the corner from that is Lancaster Gate stop on a different line. You are a short walk to Notting Hill and some great food and shopping. Around the corner is Galaxy Laundry - a self-service laundr-o-mat. The Hop On-Hop Off bus stops in front of the hotel with a ticket seller there during the day. A bus stop is just a few steps away. The rooms actually have Air con that I can say is actually cold. Many hotels allow you to set it at 20, but never get below 24 no matter how long it runs and without windows that open, it gets stuffy.
Breakfast is just fine but not gourmet. But, the price isn't bad for what you get. It never changes, though, so after about day 3, we found ourselves wandering down the street to Pret for something different.
Not quite walkable from Paddington station unless you really love to drag your luggage through the streets. But, a taxi is about £10 from Paddington. Just make sure they don't drop you off at the OTHER Hilton down the street. We always have to stop them from flipping a U-Turn in the street in front of the other one. Have them shoot for the Urban Meadow Cafe' - their information doesn't have this property listed as a Doubletree for some reason and most taxis get it wrong.
W. B.
Excellent service from the staff, a good nights sleep and excellent value for money. Thanks
l. b.
Reasonably priced (for the area), comfortable hotel with friendly and knowledgeable staff which is in a good location. Oh yeah, and the free cookies on arrival are amazing!!
K. R.
Nice location, friendly staff, good breakfast, a couple of minutes away from the nearest metro station, enjoy the City or the great park next door
P. M.
Great location & the room was very comfortable - great place for a weekend break - big shout out to the awesome Sergio for the upgrade & for being super helpful
C. G.
Clean comfy rooms and lovely staff
A. L.
This hotel is right across the street from Hyde Park and about a 20 minute stroll to the Natural History and Science museums. There is no business center but the front desk will be happy to print anything out for you. Also extremely close are the Underground station and numerous restaurants.
E. X.
Perfect Location for accessing to Kensington Gardens and Kensington Palace! Room size is acceptable as this hotel locates in the very heart of central London. Breakfast is fresh and yum. Good choice!
M. B.
The Hilton Honours rooms are fantastic. Spacious and clean with coffee machine and small fridge. Check in was friendly. Superb location opposite Hyde Park and close to Paddington.
A. J.
Aligned to the standard of the DoubleTree I expect as a Hikton customer. Reasonable rate for a London Hotel. Very hospitable staff and well run. Recommended.
J. H.
We visited Saturday for afternoon tea (on a gift voucher) & had a lovely time. The staff were really friendly and the food was lovely. We would definitely recommend it.
C.
Friendly staff, very accomodating, nice warm cookie on welcome, only downfall is room service delivery charge if you want to work from your room.
J.
Convenient location, great coffee machine in the room and super comfy bed. Not much breakfast on offer coeliacs though.
B. S.
Great service all around for the price. Shame about the amount of available parking spaces but all issues regarding that got solved swiftly ^^
C. S.
Fabulous hotel dire tly opposite Kensington Gardens.ovely rooms and restaurant, stones throw away from Notting Hill. Superb value and luxury accommodation
A. W.
What a wonderful hotel, staff could not be more helpful especially Ronnie who looked after our party. We held 80th birthday party there and would definitely return.
M. D.
Excellent hotel. Situated on the edge of Hyde park close to Knightsbridge kensington and the city centre main shopping areas. Not too expensive but good value.
A. G.
Always have a great stay when here, staff helpful and food great. Started to make even more improvements.
C. W. R.
The room looked bigger, but is very nice. Very good AC and nice interior. Delicious breakfast too.
C. R.
Booked 2 rooms quite a few months ahead of time, close together.Rooms are very nice and beds comfortable.A/C was broken in one of our rooms, consequently part of us were moved to the 5th floor. We were on the lower M level.Bit disappointing.
L. J.
Handy for the West End. Room had everything we needed.
M. G.
Not a bad hotel. Checks all the marks except one. Literally the slowest internet on the planet. It’s ridiculously uselessly slow. Borderline dial up speeds. Cmon. It’s 2018.
A. S.
Afternoon tea was disappointing there was hardly any fillings in the sandwiches it was difficult to know what you were eating. Nice quality Prosecco
K. S.
The kitchen could serve more fine Italian cuisine but the stuff is quiet friendly and the place very inviting.
S. A.
Very nice hotel, courteous staff, big and comfortable rooms and kids will love their free cookies👍
L. V.
Good location and great value for the price. I was very happy to be not right in the middle of town for less than a third the cost per night.

- slow staff in the restaurant/bar in the afternoon, not attentive, stressed, no recommendation
- bought room upgrade and got room with view on backyard & parking lot
