Stayed here for my wife's birthday and couldn't be happier. Room was comfortable with good views of the city. The bar was lovely and relaxed with a great selection of drinks. I was particularly impressed with Vinfran and his team in the Marco Pierre White restaurant. He could not do enough for us. Unbelievable service and a real credit to the hotel. We will definitely stay here again.

My new favourite hotel in London. Located 15-20 minutes by car from all main attractions. The area (Angel) is quite relaxed with a few shops and a small mall nearby to find everything that you want.
I stayed three nights with my family (two rooms). I need to emphasize that the personell was extra polite at all times. A fully equipped gym and very clean. The room was excellent and warm, and the beds were extra comfy. The breakfast was standard but a good 4star hotel.
Two small details that need to get improved. Carpet cleaning and parking.
E. M.
Room was upgraded for us when we got there and the room was clean and tidy. Due to Covid, the breakfast wasn't a buffet so the staff were taking people's orders. Everyone was very friendly and checking in and out was very easy

We stayed here during Christmas and New Year. Good value for money. We got a room with some view to the city skyline. The hotel is very well connected by busses that go to city centre and by tube. Friendly staff. We got delicious, warm cookies at check in 😊
The towels are a bit old, but besides that, the hotel is very nice.

I stayed here a few months ago in a Deluxe room with two double beds. The room was a fantastic size overlooking the back road of the hotel so quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the hotel so I slept really well.
We were fantastically looked after by Eva during breakfast and in the executive lounge. Her customer service skills and effort was always going above and beyond and we were made to feel very welcome.
Thank you. We would definitely consider coming again.

Had an amazing room that had booked through the app. It's great to be able to check in online, choose your own room. Really great value for money. Comfortable , clean, cosy comfy bed in a good location.

We have stayed here previously but this trip wasn’t quite as comfortable. Check-In via the app was great as there was a long queue at reception when we arrived, however when we got to the room we required a card for the lights. Luckily I had a membership card I could use.
Quick drink in the bar before heading out. Barman was friendly and they serve a gluten free larger (bottles) which is a bonus!
I asked Reception for a separate key card so my husband didn’t need to download the app to use a digital key card. Friends that were also staying there apparently had to pay a deposit for a room key. I’ve not seen that before and I wasn’t asked for one.
The issue came when we went to bed. The pillows are very flat/soft and putting your head on them meant the filling when anywhere but where your head was. We planned to have a lay in but as the curtains didn’t shut over the whole window so as soon as it was light, so was the room (see picture). We were near the lifts (room 425) which was very noisy throughout the night as people returned from parties. Plus the door to the bathroom made a loud creaking noise every time it was opened or closed. We checked our feeling a little drained. Again there was a queue to checkout so I did it digitally on the app and headed home for a nap.

I guess staying on Christmas Eve during a pandemic is not ideal, but I wasn't impressed with the staff here. When we booked the room online through hotels.com, I booked a meal for 3 for the evening I checked in. So I when we did check in, I spoke to the desk at length, where we would eat, etc. I was confused as there's a celebrity chef restaurant only attached to the hotel.
So later when we came down as directed and headed there, got seated, only then someone clicked that we were half board, but not for the Marco White eaterie. So we were (kindly to be fair) told we could stay and pay or get our feed food in the bar.
The bar area to eat were sofa's or uncomfortable tables and chairs by the bar, watching people get legless. The food itself wasn't bad and comes from the same kitchen we were told, but the atmosphere wasn't great.
The next morning at breakfast we were given free champagne (warm) and breakfast buffet was hardly inspired.
But the main reason I'm only giving 3 stars is the lack of help with luggage leaving and arriving and the car park that charged 30 quid a night! We aren't even in what I deem central London, but Angel Islington!!!

My daughter had given me theatre tickets and a night at The Double Tree Hilton, as a birthday present. I arrived early and the delightful receptionist, Christine, went out of her way to ensure our room was ready as soon as possible. She could not have been friendlier and more attentive and gave me a cup of coffee on the house while I waited for my partner to turn up.
The room was small, but very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Every member of staff greeted us with a friendly smile and welcome. I could not fault the customer service ie receptionists, bar staff, security staff, housekeeping and restaurant. They could not have been friendlier, and made us feel special and very welcome.
After the theatre and eating out we arrived back late for cocktails. Again, the bar staff were delightful. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. In fact I meant to ask where the pillows came from .... soooo comfortable!
Christine welcomed me in the morning and asked how our evening at the theatre had been. She took a genuine interest.
Breakfast was brilliant and, again, the staff could not have been more accommodating. I am on a special diet and they went out of the way to provide me with a special breakfast.
There was one human error, that the absolutely charming duty manager, Jay, went out of his way to rectify. Unbeknown to me, my daughter had been assured that we would be given a room on the fifth floor with a bath, great views and wine and cheesecake to say 'Happy Birthday'.
She was devastated when she called me and realised that we were on the second floor and there was no wine or cheesecake. I had had such a good time that I did not want to complain, but I mentioned it to Jay, the Duty manager. He, too, was devastated that this had happened, and went out of his way to find ways of compensating me. He could not have been more apologetic.
Mistakes happen, and when people genuinely care, as everyone in this Hilton does, it is very easy to forgive.
Thank you all and I would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel, and very much hope to stay again.

Lovely hotel, nice rooms and good location for kings cross. Only let down came from the room attendants. Not enough towels on entry, which was rectified and in a covid safe environment my nightwear was moved which I did not like. Great breakfast, gorgeous croissants and good cooked breakfast. Some lovely waiting staff.

The rooms were so clean and the bed comfy. The location is great with amazing links on the Northern line and buses. All the hotel staff are super friendly especially Rose who makes your stay here phenomenal from the moment you check-in, she is the kindest and most professional person you will meet and really goes above and beyond.

This is a comfortable hotel located 5 min walk next to Angel tube. My room was modern, clean and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of transportation options towards central London. Across the street there's a bus to Paddington station. There are good dining and shopping options near Angel. I would love to come back.
M. W.
This hotel has got things right. Easy distance from both Kings Cross/St Panc. if arriving by Eurostar or Angel tube if using the underground. Busses available from directly opposite hotel to St Panc. which was useful on way back as I was running late.
Rooms clean, plenty of plugs for devices. Nice shower. Excellent breakfast.
Gold status recognised. Executive lounge a great place to go for a drink and snack in the evening.
This has now become a firm favourite for me in London.
R. S.
I stayed in this hotel for 4 months while building work was taking place on my home.
Every person from the cleaners and security through to the restaurant and reception staff were amazing. They went out if their way to make a difficult time as pleasurable as possible and I am very grateful for all the little things they did for both my daughter and myself.
Eva in the restaurant and Robert on reception especially deserve a big thank you xx
M. C.
It's only getting 3 stars because of the good service. The hotel itself is a bit tired and not the best example of a DoubleTree.
Pretty good location to be fair but not a great deal else
C. L.
Very big hotel, crowded and bustling. Staff are friendly enough but didn't seem too thrilled to be working.
Big parties downstairs in the restaurant so wouldn't recommend first floor.
Breakfast is average, big queues and not too much choice. And what's with the takeaways Costa cups!? Not sustainable! Location is good enough, relatively close to a tube stop and bus stops.
B. G.
Front desk staff were lovely as was cleaning staff. Breakfast staff need more training running through what is where and drinks is basic for waitress skills? Waiting the whole of breakfast for one hot drink is not the best. But overall stay I would stay again
f. f.
Charged £4.20 on our invoice for "bar" despite never having set foot in it.
The room was clean and perfectly functional. The hotel deserves higher than the 3 stars I have given however the Hilton chain had not processed a credit from a previous stay on to this one as they promised so the rating reflects the chain.
I have emailed looking for an explanation for the random charge and await the reply.
J. P.
Such a great location, near 100's of restaurants, Sadler's Wells Theatre, a huge shopping centre and the Business Design Centre. Great transports links to central London. The hotel is modern and pristine; rooms are designed to meet your comforts, clean and well maintained. Finishes on the decor is of a high standard. I had breakfast there and it is of a very good standard and the choice of breakfast is very comprehensive. The roof restaurant was unforetunately still closed following on from lock down I suspect) however the Marco Pierre White restaurant is open on the ground floor as is a beautiful bar and lounge area.

To clarify me and my girlfriend came here for or 1 anniversary.
Bed 5/5: bed was super comfy and with really nice pillows. I slept like a log
Bedroom 4/5: bedroom itself was fine and all in good working condition. The lamp on the right hand side of the bed wasn't the sturdiest and we didn't get much milk in the fridge. But these was minor. However the locks to our door was faulty.
Bathroom 2/5: to be honest the bathroom wasn't the best. The shower curtain was broken and it just looked like the slapped a bed sheet on as a shower curtain. There was mold near the handle and the shower bar wasn't even on fully. The condiments was nice but they was tiny. However the bath was really nice as was the shower. Truthfully though the bath was too small
Facilities 2/5: for starter when we arrived we was asked to pay pay reservation fee of £30 which they didn't specify in hotel.com. and you also have to pay for room service which I think is disgusting (room service price: fee = £5 and clean =£30) room service should be free. However we did get the gym for free which was a really nice touch. We did also get a free cookie each and the cookie was warm and gooey
Location 5/5: really good location. You have angel market right next door as angel shopping centre too and just 3 minute walk to tube station.
Aircon: 1/5: the aircon didn't work and it was very confusing to use.
Staff: 4/5: staff was very polite and always came to say hello. They also have security guards around which is a good pulse for safety.
Atmosphere: 4/5: the atmosphere for the hotel itself is really cozy and relaxing. The only thing that ruined it is the room itself.
As a whole 4/5: me and my girlfriend did enjoy our stay here. I would recommend it again.
T. F.
Fantastic hotel!!! Best thing about this hotel was the lounge that we upgraded to for about $100. We stayed here over a week and ate most of our meals here. It was well stocked with snacks, drinks and throughout the day fresh fruit and main dishes. Rooms are a bit on the small side, but the lounge made up for it. Staff was friendly and the hotel is walking distance to the tube.
H. M.
AMAZING HOTEL!! Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 2 nights for our anniversary and our stay here was wonderful. They went above and beyond and the staff treated us like royalty. The room was gorgeous, spotless and the pillows were soo comfy. It was peaceful, breakfast was delicious and there was so much choice of food. Would definitely stay here again!
L. K.
Fantastic hotel! The room was clean and nothing was a problem if we needed any extras. The lovely lady on the dining area was amazing, such a caring and attentive lady.
The whole experience has been perfect and many thanks to General Manager Peadar McFadden for being so kind. Highly recommend this hotel!
C. S.
Room was a disabled one with a teeny tiny sink but won’t complain as we were able to check in at 1015 instead of waiting until 3pm. Only complaint was that they kept running out of food at the breakfast buffet. Both days we had to ask for more to be brought out - this is hotel 101 stuff.
A. B.
This hotel is way nicer than Islington Hilton.
Fresh room condition and nice staff. You deserve more star!
J. B.
First day and last day we did not get fresh towels other than that the place is clean quite and staff very welcoming
J. D. M.
Loved it great stay and a good night in the Hotel bar. For the price a fantastic place to stay for a few days stop over.
J. E.
My family and I stayed here for one night over the weekend and we had a fantastic stay. The location is superb, we were seeing a show in Covent Garden and this hotel was so convenient for that. The staff were all lovely, very professional and friendly. The hotel and room were spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was outstanding, so much choice and all delicious. We loved our stay, thankyou.
Z. &. N.
Excellent service, clean rooms and lovely breakfast. Would stay again! Surprisingly very quiet considering the hotel is located next to a main road.
J. G.
Hotel in a good position to access transport links to the city and beyond. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Would recommend hotel to others.
Breakfast well organised and plentiful. Celebrated a special birthday during the stay and staff organised a complimentary drink which was appreciated.
B. K.
Went for my work Xmas party. Staff were amazing but DJ was rude. Spoke to the manager about it. Everyone left the dance floor early because of his attitude. He was extremely rude. Sure there are many good DJs who are polite that they can employ!!
R. P.
We stayed here in an family executive room, clean and spacious for the 4 of us. Nuce bathroom, hot shower.tv etc. Service was good. Lovely breakfast. And a welcoming staff and lobby. Oh and we enjoyed our welcome cookies.
R. B.
I would not choose this hotel again due to unhappy atmosphere in the reception and the room standards are below expectation of Hilton experience in the past
y. p.
Stayed for 3 nights. Nice cookie given upon check in, and wife also received another one the next day when she asked. It would be nice to cater for nut allergy sufferers though, as we miss out on them.
Front desk staff were always helpful. There was one bit of confusion around room cleaning- we were told to ask when we needed it, but when we did ask, we were told it might not be possible. When we clarified what we were told initially when checking in, it was then cleaned.
Room is a good size and bathroom too. I expected the TV to have netflix on there, as other 4 star hotels have these apps built in.
Breakfast was great and vegetarian sausages were made for me upon request. Lovely asian man working there each morning wearing a white hat. Very friendly.
When i requested towels and support with an issue in the room, staff came within a few minutes which was really good.
I was a bit surprised at how little hot drink you get when you order from the 24 hr costa. For a small (£2.95) only a quarter of the cup is filled with hot chocolate.
Overall a decent stay in a good location from shops, food, and tube- but i expected a bit more from Hilton.
k. r.
The room was small for a supposed executive room. We weren't offered any of the perks of the executive room either. The bed wasn't that comfortable and not enough pillows. Room was cleaned once during the four day stay due to covid apparently. The staff weren't great not friendly, just there. The bar area and outside seating were nice, drinks were on par for London prices. The hotel is well connected close to angel tube station. There's loads of bars and resteraunts close by and felt a pretty safe area. Overall a nice stay but not quite the 4* deluxe advertised and definitely not woth paying for the executive room.
L. C.
Great location only 15 minutes walk from King's Cross Station. Friendly staff. Clean and modern rooms. Great breakfast. Angel underground station is only a few minutes walk away. Good value for money hotel.
H. E.
We had a lovely stay there for our holiday. Everyone was really awesome. And yes .. we got the famous welcoming cookies which are delicious 😋 Breakfast is good. Parking is available for a limited number of cars ( first come first served) costs £30 /day and you have to pay full amount of days required upon arrival if a place is available
E. S.
We were asked to pick a room but when we arrived we were given another room when we arrived at said room there was cups left unwashed bed not changed. We went back down to the reception to tell them about the room they had allocated to us the receptionists upgraded our room to a king room it was clean and tidy. We had not requested housekeeping but it said if you were staying more than 3 day the room would get a clean and changed bedding. Our 3rd day was Sunday and we were leaving on Monday so when nobody came on the Sunday maybe because we were leaving the next day they were just leaving the cleaning until then, so on Monday morning we had went down to breakfast and then we went back up to the room to pack and check out the housekeeper was in the room changing the bed I thought that was strange seen we were checking out soon went back to reception and told them apparently the room was supposed to been done on Sunday but was not done and that was the girl doing on the Monday. Communication break down between the office and housekeeping manager. So I don't blame the housekeeper I blame the management. Also our bill was wrong we were down as half board told the barman when we went to order our dinner the bill was 71/73 pounds and we had a 3 course's and 1 whisky and 2 pints of lager shandy, we were never told that it was only a 2 course meal so as it was on the menu starter, main, dessert I thought you could have all three. On the Friday we ate in the peirr white restaurant and we knew that it was extra charge, and on the Sunday night we sat at the bar again and they had charged us for the 2 course dinner and 1 pint of lager shandy 1 whisky 1fresh orange/ lemonade and a bottle of coke. So that hat to be rectified before we left. When the receptionists explained we were charged for our meal but I explained to the barman we were half board and it would only be the drinks I would need to pay for but he put it through wrong and on the Sunday night it was the bar manager/ restaurant manager that took our order so he should have known better. I think your staff need some more training. Then these mistakes won't be made in future. And IF I STAY there again it will only be bed and breakfast. As we had came down for our anniversary and out of all the hilton hotels your is not as good as the other I have stayed in.
Yours Sincerely.
Evelyn Simpson.
S. O.
It's a double tree so you would expect it to be ok. And it was.
Also congratulations for the couple in 519 next to the lifts for their noisy rendition of love.
A. M.
Friendly and welcoming staff, rooms were clean and good quality and the most attractive feature was being able to book adjoining rooms. Location was good, only a very short walk to Angel underground station which meant it was easy to get to the various parts of London we were visiting.
C. Y.
Excellent service. Reception staff super helpful and friendly. Lovely hotel. Clean, safe, comfortable beds.
s. r.
An absolutely fantastic Hotel.
Staff are so very friendly and helpful.
Really clean, tidy and most welcoming place to make you "base" to explore London.
L. M.
We only stayed for one night, the hotel is fairly well located for Kings Cross Station and St Pancras, not so fun getting there with luggage up the hill but all good when we had to leave ☺️ the room was small but had everything we needed, although the room we had was looking a little tired and probably due a refurb. Nice view of North London out of the window though 👍🏻
S. C.
Ok Hotel in the heart of Islington. The building is quite old and need some renovation. The breakfast offer is really poor. A positive note: the kind lady running (almost on her own) the executive lounge in the evening, she is nice, welcoming and friendly.
K. G.
Breakfast fantastic, set us up for the day ahead. Check-fine. Lovely room, just thought the floors needed a sweep/hoover then mop.
S. D.
Great hotel, great location and exceptional staff. Haben in the MPW restaurant was just the best.
C. S.
Excellent hotel to stay at for the price. Located up the hill from Kings Cross/St. Pancras station, it's in a perfect quiet location with a Covid Test Center located right at the hotel. A HUGE bonus. myhealthcareclinic.com - MHC Kings Cross Testing Centre. This is helpful information, because booking an appointment can be tricky if you don't know the city.
M. S.
The hotel is nice but it seems dated once you get to the room. The restaurant, bar and all other facilities are modern, staff is friendly and more than happy to accommodate any reasonable request. Food is fresh and delicious.
The only downside is the fact that the rooms are not as modern as many other hotels in the area and the car park is fairly expensive £30 a day.
D. B.
Staff excellent, hotel rather darkly lit in public spaces.
Hotel in need of an upgrade especially in view of the price of the room.
I. H.
Had a very enjoyable stay, any requests were carried out immediately. Very good breakfast something for everyone.
T. F. D.
Quite nice didnt stay but cousins did.
Beds looked comfy.
They said its was suffice, food, location etc
I. J.
Everything was as advertised. Great location, tube station just around the corner. Room had everything we needed: hairdryer, iron and iron board, cooler.
Welcoming and helpful staff members. We got very delicious cookies on arrival 😀
We all enjoyed our stay.
E. S.
Thin walls meant it was a bit noisy (could hear someone in another room snoring!) but otherwise very good service and no other complaints.
J. H.
Great location, 2 mins to tube, nice clean room and a good breakfast, albeit a bit slow to be seated at busy times, so get down early.
J. B.
Nice hotel but you would expect that from this franchise. Clean room and helpful staff.
E. J.
Staff were very helpful and attentive. The room was clean. Bed was super comfy
I.
Comfortable and clean.. rooms and bathrooms are a bit small but well appointed.
A. M.
Not a four star service. If you are a Silver, Gold or Diamons Hhonors member do not expect the equivalent service at this hotel becasuse you will not get it.
Second rate at best and not four star service.
S. C.
I actually enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The staff were all wonderful and welcoming.
M. J.
Great place for a cheap stay while in London. Very clean and comfy rooms. Thought it'd be noisy at night but had a peaceful night's sleep. Mostly young, touristy place but fairly mixed crowds.
M. F.
Great hotel, clean and tidy. Good location and very good customer service
B. S.
We were there in July, lovely spacious, clean, pristine, very friendly staff.
C. B.
Great hotel, lovely room and had a great nights sleep. Couldn't ask for more!
D. O.
We initially chose this hotel because the price was comparible with the nearby budget hotels when booking through a third party website. The Check in was simple was even able to check in online or use the hilton honours app as key card if I wanted to, but we opted for the traditional card!
Staff in reception were friendly and welcoming, Rooms were comfortable and even though we overlooked the main road relatively quiet! We'll definitely book here again if the room rates are within our budget!
A. P.
Really great hotel. spacious, friendly and well equipped.
v. g.
Lovely place with very personal service and friendly staff. We left our Chrome cast behind in the room and they sent it back to our home free of charge. A big thankyou to Germaine, you are really superb!!
C. D.
Nice friendly staff and good value. The breakfast was great.
U. E.
Clean, really friendly staff! So close to all the local transportation. Angel station is 2 mins walk away. During the night it felt safe to walk there. Lovely little coffee shops along the way.
N. T.
Fabulous location
Fantastic and spacious rooms
Breakfast plentiful
Friendly staff
K. S.
Nice enough. Breakfast was ok. Room was a bit bland. Seemed clean enough. Great location.
W. A. H.
Not a morning person but I would totally wake up for their breakfast spread. They even provided a juicer which makes me happy.
Rooms are clean, comfy, and suitable if you need to do work during traveling. Loved that it was close to bus stops and subway but not noisy. Easy to find halal food around the hotel. Would love to come back here.
H. R.
I have stayed many nights in this hotel for work & if I ever visit for pleasure, cannot fault the staff in any way. Room is as expected for a Hilton. Great location for seeing London & work with the tube from Angel station
U. K. A. w. l. L.
An excellent location near the station with brilliant staff and a quality breakfast.
M. C.
Great hotel, rooms clean and tidy and great location and brilliant staff who made you feel welcome, will definitely be staying here again
S. B.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming, Mustafa in particular.
I had an issue with my booking which I soon realised was entirely my own fault.
Mustafa has such a bright, friendly and welcoming face. He’s always made sure to greet me and I’m beyond impressed with his attitude and assistance.
I came here to finish off my final year university project and the hotel was very peaceful and had great Internet connection, thus I was able to do what I needed to. Also the late check out helps a lot !
Very clean & the bathroom is very nice. I would definitely come again after covid.
A. S.
Excellent service. Stayed 10 days. No complaints
Brilliant location
5 stars.
R. S.
For £60 a night and location it was a hotel worth the money. Although covid has affected the house keeping service provided. Overall the hotel was welcoming and accommodating. I will be staying in the same hotel hereafter whenever I travel to London City.
D. M.
The lady that works in the exc lounge was amazing 100% guest care
M. H.
Hallways smelled of cigarette smoke. The key card stopped working every day. The elevator kept getting stuck.
T. E.
Beds like concrete but if you like a hard bed, the hotels pretty good.
T. P.
I stayed here for 3 months and was treated extremely well by the staff. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable at all times.
E. W.
Lovely experience. Will definitely return. Rooms are amazing
G. W.
I enjoy my stay warm atmosphere and friendly service
N. T.
Always friendly staff, nice rooms with good views and bathrooms. Ideally located near Angel station and plenty of bars and restaurants.
A. L.
Would definitely recommend it.
We stayed here for 2 nights during November with our 2.5 year old daughter.
The staff was very friendly and helped with all our needs.
Breakfast was very good with a large selection of dishes in buffet style.
We stayed in a double room, we had plenty of space. The rooms are fully renovated. Very cool and homey. Great shower!
All in all we really enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend DoubleTree for families with children / toddlers and business men alike.
J. R.
Had a fine stay with family of four. Considering the price and location, this hotel was a fair value. Rooms are a bit aged, but felt clean. Carpets are in dire need of replacement. Breakfast buffet was really good with very attentive staff. Layout of hotel is odd. Customers in certain rooms have to pass through the conference area to access the closest elevator to their room. Otherwise, it would be a 5 minute hike from the building's main elevators. Location is 20-25 minutes (with kids) by bus or train to most attractions, which is great for the price.
D.
Nice hotel it’s a Hilton so standards are expected and I think they met that, bonus to get a free cookie on arrival.
R. B.
Clean, all staff more than amazing. The breakfast is unreal sets you up for the day.
N. B.
Great hotel and location. Staff, public spaces, breakfast, bar food and rooms were all great. Nothing to close here but a couple of the extra touches would add the cherry on top. The fridge in my room want working. Find it was turned off down behind the desk which was difficult to get to. There are no cotton buds in the bathroom which are very handy and the shower lacked pressure. None of these were major issues but none the less would have made the experience better.
K. P.
My stay was comfortable and the staff were very helpful and polite. However the aircondition was not working effectively and there was no hand sanitizer or facemask for guest.
R. H.
Great location (Euston/Kings Cross) and tube (Angel) within sort walking distance.
J. M.
Service was very personable and professional. We had a recently refurbished room, one double and one single bed.
The room was clean, modern and well put together. The bathroom especially was sharp looking, all tiled with a walk in shower and two good mirrors.
The lighting was really well implemented. Lighting often lets hotels down but here it was used excellently. Plenty of indirect, lamps and pelmet lights. Bathroom had hard overheads as well as a softer mirror LED.
Would definitely stay again.
R. J.
Brilliant staff so so friendly especially Robert who checked us in really personal and rooms clean. Location good to commute into to main London.
G. C.
Very good stay in a central location hotel
N. A.
Great service, fantastic rooms and excellent value for money.
G. J.
Had a pleasant experience at this hotel. We went in late June and were staying one night as we were moving into our study abroad apartment the next day. We had check in at two so we dropped our bags off and explored a little. We came back at 2 and our room wasn’t ready but they gave us access to the lounge to wait. The room was nice and clean and the beds were decently comfortable. The only issue is the air conditioning turns off on its own randomly so it would get hot
M.
Nice hotel, well designed and renovated.
Great breakfast.
The size of the room. The fact that my wife and myself slept on one bed that …
M. K.
Hotel location is perfect. Easy walk to tube station. We checked in promptly at 3pm and was told our room was not yet ready. Could we check back in an hour? We were quite tired from traveling almost 20 hours and just wanted to get into a room. Was given a non-updated room that although was clean, was quite drab and basic. Towels threadbare. Breakfast in executive lounge good. Will say an item of importance was left out in plain view by mistake and I was very appreciative the item was still sitting in virtually the same spot when I returned. Cheers to the integrity of the housekeeping staff.
A. B.
Clean rooms friendly staff good experience loved ANGEL as an area
G. G.
Excellent facilities, courteous staff and it's a pleasure to be here
H. P.
Really nice stay! Good location, nice staff and room was very clean. Only thing missing is a pool!
J. “. U.
Went recently on a work trip and pretty decent, staff friendly and helpful. Would use again
K. A.
Love, love, love it here, all the staff are just wonderful, can't do enough for you. The newly refurbished rooms are well thought out, and some really quiet inward facing rooms. Bar staff wonderful as are reception and exec lounge. Great choice for breakfast, my 1st choice in London.
A. R.
Great location. Friendly staff. The had money exchange which was very convenient. And breakfast did not disappoint.

It's a decent hotel. The rooms are decent as well. I felt it could have been a little bit cleaner but was not atrocious by any means. I usually keep my room clean enough and prefer not to have housekeeping enter daily or at all so was annoyed that they did remove the "later, please" sign I'd left on my door and cleaned it while we were out anyway. I would not have left items like my toothbrush, work computer and passport out had i known they would enter without my desire for them to do so. I do understand in this day and age it may be the new policy they have implemented, but if so, they just need to make guests aware of it, so guests are not surprised like I was. These are the primary irritations for the hotel. Also, the website indicates there is parking so I was surprised upon renting a car to find that the parking is a lot about 15 minutes away. I am rating it as a 4 nonetheless because it does not have standards others will find to be below the norm but the items i have mentioned are definitely worth other guests or potential guests knowing if they are considering staying here.

Nice stay with the family. We were treated so well. Great breakfast buffet. Well communicated by bus and by underground. Special thanks to Laura in the reception desk and Bea in the breakfast buffet for making our stay really great!!!
D. W.
I had a very worm welcoming. The hotel looks very nice and the room is excellent. The locations is perfect, not so crawled area and very close to the city center as well as to transportation. The breakfast is rich and much to choose from. I very much recommend.

The rooms are recently refurbished and I got upgraded to an executive room asa Hilton Diamond member, however had really poor sleep because you can hear every single person in the hallway, getting in the lift, shouting, talking. Such a shame that they missed out on this because otherwise the hotel is pretty good, but not being able to have a good night's sleep is a deal-breaker.

Very nice hotel. The location is near Angel tube station so good access to get around. The hotel is popular and was quite busy but it didn't feel overcrowded in the communal areas. Rooms are a good size ( I had a standard double) . Bathroom isn't big but has everything you need. Service is very professional. Room service was quick and reception were very helpful. Restaurant service was good and food was excellent. Breakfast was also busy but there was only a slight queue to be seated. The staff were very efficient at serving and clearing so even with a full hotel there was no delays. Overall very impressed. I would stay here again and recommend it.
G. K.
The hotel is beautiful.
The staff is amazing George behind the reception was exceptional so helpful and welcoming made the whole check in procedure easy and polite
L. H.
Nice, clean, friendly, good food.
G. T.
Friendly staff, Covid secure service, comfy room, adequate + breakfast, very good value for money an overall stay.
M. S.
Nice hotel although I got to spend very little time in there. Room well appointed. Large room, large bathroom. Generally nicer than when it was a Jury's Inn but still have the same bowed out shower curtains that mess up my depth perception and make me feel seasick. I didn't have dinner but I did have breakfast which was great, although there was a big queue for breakfast when I was leaving (0830 on a Tuesday). Checking in and out was a little slow. Overall: recommend.
R. P.
Very comfortable. Welcoming staff. Great cookies.
M. H.
What can I say? It's what I expect from a hotel, and good at it. Rooms are lovely, very well equipped. Service is always pleasant and the restaurant here is a Marco Pierre White, so trust that it's good. Only downside I can think of is the heating control wouldn't go above 25, I like my rooms a bit warmer, but a small detail. There's free WiFi too, which is a bonus
I. B.
Nice hotel, good location. Rooms of a good size and comfortable, AC works well and shower is great. Good breakfast with lots of choice. Only given 4 stars as I haven't tried restaurant in evening or bar
M. H.
Great location, 5 minutes walk from Angel underground station. Room was spacious and clean, with tea and coffee making facilities, an ironing board and iron. The shower was disappointing, quite low water pressure, and the wardrobe door in the room (552) was impossible to open without it banging into the door frame. The included breakfast was much better than the usual hotel buffet, there was also hot items available (sausage, bacon, hash browns etc) and a few surprises like crumpets and potato bread. Would happily stay again.
D. C.
I spent 2 days, 1 night there and from the moment I entered the hotel we were welcomed by a very friendly staff and we received cookies...
We had some brilliant drinks at "bar 60" while waiting for check-in...
The room was extremely clean and the extras I ordered were there!
The food and the service was impeccable!
I would definitely recommend!
P. B.
The room was clean and well fitted out, and the hotel was a pleasant place to stay. Staff and check in was easy and on this visit I used room service for an evening meal which was prompt and of good quality. There were some areas I felt could have been cleaned better, and there was a lot of noise late into the evening from a pub outside the hotel. Breakfast was ample but not the best quality food which let it down.
K. V.
A good hotel. Fresh rooms, professional service and a good location. Very happy with our stay here. There was some issues with our room (minor things, a mising towel etc), but the staff responded quickly and professionally. They couldn't fix all of the issues immediately and gave us an upgrade instead.
S. A.
Nice to be back out. The hotel did reasonable well with the restrictions. Food isn't there yet, so got Just eat which is fine.
S. H.
Very nice and clean
Friendly staff
Value for money

Being a diamond member I got access to their executive lounge. In that there were complimentary dinner appetizers everyday from 6-8 pm, this included unlimited complimentary wine and beer. They tried their best to keep the customers happy. Although I had couple of issues during my stay. But once I highlighted those to the management, they went beyond to make my stay pleasurable.
M. -. H. G.
One of my nicest hotels stay to date due to the people. Everyone (with the exception of one lobby person at the end, she almost got this a four star rating) was accommodating and had a ready smile. The food at the restaurant was top notch. The diamond member lounge was a welcome break in the day. Will definitely be back.
S. C.
I never knew that they gave fresh cookies when you check in. They were delicious and gooey. The rooms were great. I stayed in a Hilton honors room so I don't know how the other rooms are. The breakfast is delicious. The windows actually crack open and let air in. Like some other hotels in europe, this is a hotel where you need the room key to insert into a slot to turn on the lights. When you take out the card, the lights will turn it off automatically after a few minutes. They do this to conserve energy and not waste lights.
J. M.
The staff specifically Laura at the front desk were very nice and helpful. The layout of the hotel is one of the worst I've seen, we had to walk around the entire floor to get to our room. The water pressure was a joke trying to take a shower and the shower didn't drain; the maintenance support team was prompt and temporarily fixed the problem. The breakfast was good but the staff was undermanned.
N. K.
Decent hotel that gives you all that a 4* hotel would.
The advantage is the position, near Angel underground station, King's Cross train station and also with a bus stop just across the road. This bus gets you to the Picadilly Circus.
Other than that, it is clean and the staff is friendly and willing to help in any question or demand.
The room is nicely furnished and the quality of sleep very good.
The breakfast very good, and the restaurant again decent.
Overall a very nice hotel, a bit pricey maybe, but near to city center so you get what you're paying for.
R. B.
Friendly and accommodating Staff, good, not great location. Fantastic Breakfast in the executive lounge.
I would come back in the future.
Only hiccup was false fire alarm.
However staff was very professional about it.
Well done!
U. A.
Overall good experience and I'd stay again. Some minor housekeeping issues, and when speaking with front desk team, or staff at bar or restaurant you'd get a different answer depending on who you spoke with. Stayed for a week, and used these services several times, so over time my experience averaged from good to very good. Issues I experienced were likely due to training, so hopefully with a management push the typical guest experience is very good to excellent!
A. H.
I used to rate this hotel with a warm welcome and good service at this clean and well maintained Doubletree. Have recently had a billing dispute with them & they haven’t dealt with it all well. Won’t stay here anymore. Shame cos previously no problems but I don’t expect to see credit card charges just appear & them refuse to deal with it.
c. w.
Great place to stay no fuss or frills have the buffet breakfast great value for money
Q.
Lovely rooms, great prices and excellent staff. Will stay here again!
N. P.
Attended this central London hotel for a training seminar rather than as a direct guest but in terms of my interactions I was very impressed. The lobby was large and tastefully decorated and the staff attentive. The conference rooms were well appointed and the lunch provided was excellent.
S. G.
Great location, staff and hospitality. Rooms could use a little updating (especially more power outlets!) but were clean/comfortable. Breakfast here was excellent and I enjoyed the bar too.
S. M.
Really nice, staff were excellent and couldn’t help enough. Really handy location and excellent value for money.
M. C.
I would have rated it higher as you do get your bottles of water and cookies when checking in as a Silver member, especially because we had no trouble getting an office room to take an impromptu teleconference. But...considering we ARE Silver members there was a noticeable lack of personal attention. We checked in as a 3 person family and every night for 3 nights only got towels for 2 people. Considering we all have devices that need charging, the outdated mechanism of keycard-powered electricity for the room was annoying. Breakfast should not be GBP17,50 when you can get breakfast around the corner for 1/3rd of the price. I dunno, maybe 'good enough' for most, but a well-traveled Hilton customer should not have to settle for 'good enough'.
L. L.
Excellent customer service from check in to check out. Friendly staff, well equipped in the room. Fantastic shower, comfortable bed.
Executive lounge has great range of drinks n snacks throughout the day. Breakfast and dinner also served.
T. S.
I stayed here for 7 nights and quite enjoyed it. The room was large, clean and very quiet. There was almost no noise from outside or from other rooms. The wifi was free and fast – the best I've seen in a hotel. The location is pretty good, although it was slightly further from Angel than I was expecting.
J. B.
The food is very good. And we purchased access to executive lounge which was worth it. They couldn't seem to get that we were 3 people who needed 3 towels. And they kept taking the 3 used towels away every day (even though they didn't need to nor were they placed on the floor or anywhere that said to replace them) and only 2 were left behind each time. So we kept having to request towels, which was aggravating. Beyond that, everything was pleasant and I would absolutely recommend. They were very accommodating to the needs of our mother, who is gluten free, and had clear signage about what had gluten and what did not, which made things very easy for her, which I know she appreciated.
J. M. H.
Not the standard I expected, having recently stayed at the other Hilton in Islington. Very clean though and comfortable rooms.
S.
First impressions were amazing. Literally 5 minute walk to train the hotel is literally Around the corner from station which is great! VERY CLEAN! Staff were VERY polite and professional! Rooms were SPOTLESS. Bed was amazingly comfy. Tv worked all fine had tea on the side a nice chair. Very cosy and will definitely come back when I visit London again. Bathroom was lovely. So clean and hotel is very quiet which is great. Also lovely restaurant downstairs nice bar. Couldn’t recommend any more.
L. S.
I would totally stay here again. Great room and staff. Super clean. Yummy breakfast! And warm cookies upon arrival. Its not super close to the touristy sites but an Uber or bus will get you there quickly. Easy to find.
M. J.
My stay was overall good and the rooms nice. However the restaurant is overly priced with reasonable food. There were some cleanliness issues and they did not seem to have USB power outlets in the room. Some rooms can be noisy make sure you check when booking.
C. T.
I visited the Double Tree for a business meeting, I didn't actually stay in the hotel. The facilities were good and the food was very good. There were some issues in providing facilities in the meeting room which the organiser had requested, including a flip chart, projector screen and conference phone. These were provided eventually but meant the meeting was interrupted.
T. K.
Great hotel to stay at for a business trip. Friendly staff, great breakfast (both hours of operation and quality of buffet selection), and an exceptional hotel gym. Three treadmills, two ellipticals, an arm bike, a rowing machine, a pull-up rack and free weights, as well as space for stretching and abs. Really all you can ask for in a hotel in this price range.
I will definitely be looking for availability here on my next business trip to London.
A. S.
Just returned from a fabulous two night star, location is great, three minutes walk FROM Angel tube station, the welcoming staff are always pleasent, professional and the rooms spacious and clean. Breakfast just as good, great selection. Recommended for the price and central location, definitely looking forward to returning back.
A. J.
Great place excellent value for money and really friendly staff

Myself and my family had a wonderful Christmas Day lunch in the Marco Pierre White Resturant.
The food, staff, and ambiance, were fabulous. We will all be keen to go again next year.
I use the bar area regularly on a Friday evening. There is usually a DJ playing good sounds. As the evening progresses the lights are dimmed candles lit and flame feature is turned on.
The staff are amazing,and although
myself and my friend are often unescorted. We always feel very safe and comfortable.
We look forward to our nights out and often have a bite to eat from the bar menu which is also good.
We have not stayed over night there but we know people who have and the comments are all positive.
K. J.
Me and my family Has really fabulous stay in this hotel .Check in very smooth and professional, bedroom was just great for 2 adults and child, very comfortable beds. Breakfast really really Good . Location one of The best very short bus ride from KingsX and Euston and short walk to The tube station We will be back
B. M.
Decent and very well maintained. Worth for the price they charged. They had provided all the basic amenities and all necessary Infra.
For this cost, the service they provide is far better.
S. K.
As hotel stays go, this was probably the best hotel I have stayed at. Check in was a smooth process, even got a chocolate cookie. The room was clean and spacious with all of the usual amenities. The staff in all instances were friendly and helpful.
D. L.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the staff are all so friendly!! Great spot for being a London tourist...2min walk to the angel tube station- so handy! The room was spacious enough with a little fridge and randomly enough one robe even though there was 2 of us ha!! WiFi is great and the bar was cosy
P. R.
I haven't stayed here but have used the meeting rooms. If you book a meeting room, arrive early to make sure you have everything you asked for e.g phone, white board etc. The food on my second use of these facilities was great. First time was poor, so food could be hit and miss.
B. V.
Friendly welcome, helpful staff, calm neighborhood. Plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet! Or room was clean and large enough. Aircon/heater worked just fine.
R. T. (.
I arrived at the hotel on the hottest day of the year, ever so slightly sweating (dropping) after the short walk from kings cross. After walking between the inexplicably flaming decorative butane heaters straddling the entrance (seriously, 32 degrees & you have heaters going?!) I entered the reception. The staff were very quick & efficient, I was in my room within 5 minutes, enjoying the complimentary warm cookie. The room itself was clean & tidy. A double and a single bed occupy the majority of the space (no idea why my employer booked such a room for a single bloke), but it didn't feel TOO cramped. Bed was good & I had a decent nights sleep. Breakfast was plentiful & good quality, again the staff were very courteous. However, during a shower disaster struck! The bath was ridiculously slippy and i fell, clobbering my thigh on the hand holds in the bath. The bruise is still developing but as things stand it's roughly the size & shape of outer Mongolia. And hurts like hell. So this hotel misses out on 5 stars because of my damaged goods. Oh, and the bar staff were friendly too. The end.
B. I.
We stayed here for a night. Rooms were decent. Bathroom was clean. Our experience in the breakfast buffet is the worst we have had ever.
Very poor management of crowd.
The spread of food was the usual. Nothing great to make it worth all the hassle we went through through.
F. V.
I was here on business & recommend this hotel. Comfortable rooms, feather pillows, good insulation between rooms, helpful & efficient welcoming, well motivated staff. Generous breakfast but turn up early if you want a full English. I would choose this hotel again.
B. M.
5th floor room - only accessible via lift on 4th, not ideal, and not in line with my profile preference. Room was quite small, bathroom tiny, so small towels had to be left outside the bathroom. Hotel was in the middle of refurbishing rooms. No bottle of water in room. At Breakfast, staff twice asked if I would like coffee, I answered yes please twice, but never yet got my coffee.
n. h.
room was abit to small but clean. the 12pm check out is cool. the warm cookie on arrival was amazing. the night receptions was a great guy. he must of told me his name 5 times but I couldn't get it, amar I think it was. He looked after us, after a night out he gave us a cookie because we was all super hungry and nowhere was open.
D. H.
Friendly staff and delicious breakfast buffet. Rooms are ok but bathrooms could be more modern and maintained a little better. Very thin walls, we could hear the people from the next room speaking.
A. I.
I surprised my mum with a weekend trip to London and DTBH delivered. It’s cozy, the atmosphere is great, the staff is professional and friendly, the room was nice and the bed comfortable. The location was excellent. It's a short walk from Angel station with many different buses taking you to all the popular sites.
H. S.
Arrived very late due to a delayed flight and the booking had been automatically canceled. This was not a problem at all, the night manager reactivated the booking. Very professional and pleasant service at check in. The rooms are very nice, comfortable big beds and clean bathrooms.
D. C.
A good quality Hilton with plenty of space and nice rooms. The restaurant here is excellent being a Marco Pierre White place, so the quality is good and prices are affordable. My room had plenty of space, but rooms at the front are a little noisy as the road is busy all the time, so get one at the back if this is a preference.
D. C. B.
What a great hotel, staff so friendly, and the food in the restaurant to die for, and very reasonable for london. Try the scotch egg starter wow. Front desk staff brilliant very helpful and always a smile. Had a chat with the manager (peadar) while I was there, bent over backwards nearly in asking did we need anything, any way he could help. Top class
T. A.
The hotel is in a great location. Central and next to Angel Station. Staff is friendly, and you get a free warm cookie at check in. It's decicious. The rooms are pretty good (not as large as most Americans are used to, but hey, it is London). My one complaint is the noise the staff makes in the hall early in the morning. You can clearly hear vacuuming down the hall while in your room, early in the morning. And lots of chatter in the hall ways transfers in as if they were right next to you.
S. B.
A really nice place to stay!! Super clean rooms, great service from the front desk, and really nice room service people. The hotel is also 5 min walking distance from Angel station and around four bus stops which makes it really easy to get around the city. A great place to stay if you're visiting London!!!
L. E.
We had a great person called Furgan at the Hotel’s Reception. I do no write too much feedback, but she does know her job very well and really take care of the customers with listening and good research to find solutions and solve the issues. These people are the reason for my sustainable stays at this brand.
Thanks,
L. R.
The hotel was comfortable. One reception staff member was unfriendly and sullen. She promised an early check in then reneged. Her colleague assisted me later with a smile. Love the welcome cookie
A. B.
This hotel is nicely located near the Angel tube stop in Islington. The staff is very nice and it has a pretty nice lounge and bar area. The free internet was very fast and I had no trouble streaming video on it. My room was decently sized (for England) and was clean and very quiet. The exterior windows in the room were double glazed but it also had another interior window which, when closed, blocked out pretty much all outside noise. My only nit-pick is the mattress was pretty hard and not very comfortable. The TV was LCD but pretty small. Otherwise was a pleasant place to stay.
G. T.
Lovely hotel, great location
M. P.
Clean hotel..Good facilities and location
N. H.
The rooms were clean, all of the staff was friendly, and the great breakfast got our London days off right every morning. Transit was also pretty easy, as the hotel is located just a block or two from an Underground stop. Give this hotel a serious thought if you can book at a good rate.
L.
Stayed overnight for daughter and friend to attend a gig at the O2 Arena, Islington. Lovely room, well equipped, comfy bed, plenty of tea/coffee provided. Parking a few minutes from hotel, so not ideal, but you get a discount if you tell them where you are staying. No facility for contactless for small purchases, which was somewhat surprising given the hotel's Hilton name.
S. W.
Good location, rooms rather small for Executive rating, and lacking in expected facilities. Disturbing mechanical noise prevented good night's sleep. Odd smell in bathroom. Executive Lounge failed to provide breakfast option on time. Walls very thin. Staff very helpful.
K. T.
Great breakfast, wonderful service-they were super helpful when we needed to call the states and talk to our bank. The rooms are clean and the beds comfy. The toilet is noisy
Å. U.
Good location and nice staff. Too noisy with he construction going on. They started to work way too early and no compensation was given. Housekeeping kept forgetting to give towels to everyone in the room
A. C.
We stayed for 3 nights. Staff in the breakfast area aren't well train. They are inattentive, make no eye contact and keep dropping plates. Housekeeping staff speaks very little english. Expect better services from Hilton.
R. M.
Great location, very reasonably priced - always great to be back. Staff always super friendly to make you feel as comfortable as possible
G.
The location is good with easy transport links to central London
Every morning at breakfast, there was a wait for food items and plates etc. I also noticed that plates and cutlery were not the cleanest? I stayed here under …

Amazing place to stay, really friendly staff and hotel guests. Breakfast was more than I could handle, in a good way! Highly recommend.

Took My Mother-in-law for Afternoon Tea.
Lovely Hotel. Scones were very delicious.Staff very nice and helpful. The only suggestion would be that we weren't asked if we wanted another pot of tea.
Would recommend it. Will go for dinner next time.
J. Z.
In overall the hotel is 7/10 in relation price to quality. Clean, quiet location, friendly staff.
Average breakfast.
g. m.
Very clean very smart room.. Reception handled our request very quick
S. E.
Considering the climate we are in they are dealing with it very well and no complaints, all staff have been very helpful, room is very clean and would not think twice about using this hotel again
H. B.
Nice, new building, clean rooms, restaurants and lobby. Good service by front desk, restaurant and bar attendants. Only complaint is that beds were not really comfortable, rather hard.
For U.S. tourists: AC/heater inside room works but takes a bit if time to change temps, just be patient.
It is conveniently located 1 mile from St. Pancras and Kings Cross Stations, and 1.2 miles from Euston station.
Angel underground station is just 2 blocks away.
M. C.
Good hotel with a great location when visiting London.
S. C.
The most comfortable of the Hiltons I have stayed in in London. For business travelers this place is a must.
The exec lounge is nice, simple and offers a good range of drinks and food for those more seasoned business travelers at Diamond Level, and they do replenish it often. Something I liked was cereal being available all day from the exec lounge, and how that is great for all those international travellers. The rooms are spacious, and have the usual beds, with a nice, wooden aesthetic that is combined as a single unit for the desk, wardrobe and TV area.
Bathrooms are clean, and the staff are brilliant with redressing the room every morning in a way that makes it feel welcoming and fresh each night.
The careline/front desk staff are always willing to hear anything you need, and will do everything they can to offer as much help and kindness as you could hope for in a place like this.
Bar offers a nice range of drinks, and for more seasoned visitors, you can ask for more unique things not necessarily on the menu and they're always happy to oblige. You just need to know what you want and if they've got the ingredients, they'll make it.
Couldn't recommend this hotel any more than I am. When it comes to Hiltons, this hotel really is in line with the Hilton brand and the love they put into their work truly shows!
L. W.
Very nice clean hotel, friendly staff.

Iiked it. Rooms are nice. Breakfast good. Location comfortable by Angle Station.
K. L.
Comfortable and clean hotel in a good location. Appreciated the delicious cookie on arrival! The downside is the rooms at the front on the main road are quite noisy and there is little soundproofing between rooms.
B. K.
I went for dinner at the Marco Pierre Steakhouse on NYE and it was the best way to end the year. It was easy to get to, the service was great and the food was absolutely amazing! Good portion size and the price wasn't too much. I couldn't stop talking about how delicious the food was.
G. S.
Room was a decent size, shower powerful, tea, coffee and water in room. Also warm cookie on arrival. Free parking between 1.30 Saturday afternoon and early Monday on the streets surrounding. Wine slightly expensive and lights in room a little dim for getting ready, as with all hotels
D. D.
A nice and cosy hotel. It is the third I stayed there. Staff is very friendly and also ready to help. Breakfast is great. Rooms have enought space and have are equipped with standard confort items: TV, hairdryer, both soaps (refilled more than enough, great!). Only caveat. The temperature was a bit low for me. But staff immediately but some heating (december)

The hotel is very nice outside and inside. The rooms are very clean, and the personal is cleaning them every day very nice. The breakfast is delicious 🍳

Great Service & Accommodating even during COVID. Defo going back

I stayed here for 7 nights and quite enjoyed it. The room was large, clean and very quiet. There was almost no noise from outside or from other rooms. The wifi was free and fast – the best I've seen in a hotel. The location is pretty good, although it was slightly further from Angel than I was expecting.

Situated not far from the station nice location friendly staff

Me and my girlfriend as a gold members get a complementary upgrade to one executive room on the top floor, great views, rooms clean and tidy. Staff at the check in were great with good knowledge about the hotel facilities(Jonathan late shift on the 7th) The only thing was that the lounge was booked for a private event so the lounge was moved to a place close to the bar were we were having some snack and wine(thank you) and R/S were not operating that night. Next day we went for breakfast were there are lot of things to choose and a machine to prepare carrots and apple(the best)! During that morning we went to the lounge and is a really nice place! Hope to be back soon! Thank you Doubletree Islington. Love your cookies!! BECOME A HH MEMBER!

I visited one of my friends for Pre-Wedding Wedding Breakfast to start the day. The staff were courteous, the food was plentiful, in abundance and tasty. Being vegan, I was happy to find their Breakfast buffet jam-packed with options to make the most choosiest of us happy.

Great hotel, was upgraded from double to king with no request. Great service
A. S.
I attended this venue for a corporate event. It was very clean, tidy and we'll kept. The service was very high quality and the staff present. The restaurant from Marco piere white was a nice touch. Unfortunately I didn't stay in a room over night.
J. A.
Nice hotel, free cookie on arrival. Room was clean and tidy, staff friendly and helpful. Good buffet breakfast and tasty cooked evening meals.
D. W.
Always enjoy staying here. Good location for heading West toward Paddington or East into the City (good bus route connections as well as the tub). Staff friendly and helpful. Alternative is the Hilton in Islington. Food as expected for mid-range business hotel. Good rnage of local pubs and amenities as well.
D. B.
Lovely location and room! We received a free upgrade to our room too, which was a surprising bonus!
M. D.
Very well located - walking distance from Angel station and other bus stops. The breakfast buffet was good with a wide range of dishes and the room service staff are friendly, considerate and overall pleasant.
A. G.
This is one of my favourite doubletree hotels - the staff are very friendly and very helpful! I love the cosy bar area and the rooms are very fresh and modern. I spend a lot of time here and it never disappoints - the Marco Pierre White restaurant is good too - though I mostly have room service or eat in the bar. Very handy for the Angel underground which is on the northern line a couple of stops from Euston :-)
L. M.
Great location and the rooms were great. The staff on the desk were very polite and helpful.
Afternoon was good for the value of it. However staff were slow bringing out the food.
R. B.
Check in & room were great. Service in the restaurant was quite slow, took a long time to take my order, drinks arrived late (after being chased up), and it was cold. Fortunately the food was nice and reasonably priced. Not amazing, but not terrible either.
n. r.
Very nice hotel with a great breakfast and a good location near a underground station. The executive lounge adds a lot of value for working quietly or for having a drink or snack.
S. H.
A decent hotel and close to King's Cross. And easy access to local amenities.
A. F.
Good rooms and service. Chain hotel, so you know exactly what you're getting at the DoubleTree. Decent gym for basic cardio and small weights. It's located in a nice part of London.
s. b.
The staff were a delight, the room itself was OK, there wasn't an slippers or robes but was a quiet and relaxing room, nice ambience and good feeling all round. Great breakfast x
J. T.
Room very good and clean, staff polite and helpful, Breakfast was self service so you could have as much or as little you want. I was only there for weekend and it was paid for me, Don't know what dinners are like as I was only breakfast only.
K. H.
Very friendly and supportive. I will definitely come back.

Hotel is in good shape. Rooms are decent. The bathroom is very tight. No vanity or anywhere to place your things. Overall it's a good place but not elegent or fancy.
S. P.
I very much enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff at the front desk were all cooperative and welcoming that they even gave me a gracious early check in that I could use to relax after my arrival in the city. The breakfast buffet was amazing with a variety of dishes, fruits, and bread to choose from. The location was great because I could easily get to St. Pancras, King's Cross, Covent Garden, and other major tourist spots via bus or subway (Angel station). The only shortcoming would be that they do not have onsite laundromat for longterm residents.
R. D.
The location of this hotel was great. Rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable and the staff were fantastic. Warm cookies on arrival was a lovely touch.
D. G.
I visited this hotel for a business meeting earlier this week. It's easy to get to (15 mins on foot from Kings Cross) and has a the facilities you need for a large meeting. My only slight criticism was that the temperature in some parts of the hotel could have been a little higher.
G. C.
Spent two nights here, the room was a bit small but it was designed well. Reasonably priced, friendly and helpful staff. The have a restaurant and separate bar on site. The hotel is also close to the Angel tube station.
J. F.
Perfectly fine but not much more than that. Would be higher rated if the cost were not so high and even then it's lower priced for the area. Breakfast buffet a little below expectations in terms of variety and quality.
C. R.
Great hotel and very well fitted out to a high standard. Went on a weekend deal and this included dinner in "Marco Pierre White" STEAKHOUSE n grill. On sitting down and reading menu, the only steak available was "Ribeye" @ £10.50 surcharge!!!!!. We were furnished with the main menu and told we could order off this and pay the extra !!!!
Marco, you need to get this sorted. Add to this a wait of 30 mins plus for a cold starter and 25 minutes for a cold dessert. Let people know before they book!!!!!! This should not reflect on the hotel as a whole.

This is a very nice and affordable hotel. I've stayed here very often and for long periods of time (at 1 month now).
However, they are operating a hotel designed in the 90s. Still has magnetic only readers where the room keys get wiped out if they come within a meter of a magnet. All modern hotels have RFID support these days. The Hilton up the street has this so I have no idea why this hotel is so far behind.
They also do not offer any premium wifi options. So you get the common wifi channels no matter what. This might mean 1 or 2 Mbps tops. Enough to watch streaming video, unless it's a Friday or Saturday night. At that point it becomes very inconsistent and you will get dial up speeds or worse.
I enjoy this hotel and think the staff is very nice and work hard. But the tech in this hotel lags behind terribly. Good luck watching foreign sports late at night on wifi.
C. G.
This fantastic venue has hosted numerous conferences that I have attended. All have been well catered for. Clear signage along the route to the conference room, along with the use of digital signage means little time is spent asking staff where things are.
T. A.
The hotel staff were great; polite, accommodating and protective. The facilities were wonderful and it's location is in a chic part of London. Would certainly recommend this place.
M. B.
Very fancy professional hotel. Room spotless and clean, with all the necessities - also a free warm chocolate chip cookie on the house!! Flexible with checking in and out.
J. L.
Hotel ist located perfectly for a night at Slimelight/eletrowerkz. Room was exactly what I expected, furniture, sheets where of great look and feel. AC worked flawlessly. Great staff. The little gimmick of a fresh warm cookie upon arrival was adorable and much appreciated. Only downside: will never understand why the American chains refuse to give their customers a loo brush. This is ridiculous.
T. C.
Helpful and friendly staff, very comfortable rooms, good breakfast and a Marco pieŕre restaurant for the evenings. Easy to use as a base as bus stop just down from hotel/tube not far. Recommended.
M. A.
I have stayed at double tree in the past in the u.s. and this one is just in par with the rest. The location is a few blocks from the underground. The rooms are alright and so is the service. One night we called for extra towels and they said they will bring it up soon and the never did. The breakfast is pretty good.
j. v. c.
Really nice hotel.
M.
We liked the location, the staff were friendly and efficient. Our room had been refurbished well.
The room was slightly small.
P. M.
Excellent location, staff, hotel, room !!!
Very clean
Covid safe
Amazing !!!
Superlative value for central London
J. S.
Great location and friendly staff. We had an upgraded room once we arrived. The hotel is an easy walk from the Angel underground station. A bustling bar and restaurant are available.
M. P.
Location of the hotel is not very central to popular London attractions, although the hotel is within close proximity to the London Underground and St. Pancras major transportation stations. Breakfast buffet is very good. Staff are helpful and give all hotel guests a free warm cookie upon check in. Rooms are clean. The only complaints I have are that there are way too many light switches in the room which control different/multiple things at once and this can be confusing. There could also be more power outlets at the bedstand.
T. P.
The hotel was perfect, clean and in a great position. The service received was not as expected
J. B.
Hotel was ok with nice staff, but the Executive package was not that impressive, if compared to other Hiltons. The exec lounge was basic with quite poor selection of food and drink.
A. H.
Great hotel conveniently located for Angel tube station. Excellent service, rooms come with a double and single bed with free Wi-Fi included. Hotel benefits from on site gym and a cracking breakfast offer. Free cookies on check in, great lobby and bar vibe makes the hotel a perfect choice for stays in London.
J. A. (.
Very good location, and good breakfast buffet. Some bathroom are not that clean, it seams like cleaning team have been smoking in there... In general, good hotel
A. C.
Decent lounge area for work. I wasn't staying there but needed a place to work so I tried out the lounge area. Bought an espresso for around 3 pounds and stayed for around 3h. The internet was great.
I. A.
The location is near the angel tube. Neighbourhood is pk. Quite lively but expect not too lively like oxford or picadilly. The room size is super small for 4 star hotel, basic Amenities even not complete. Clean but not too clean, bathtub / shower combo thing. We had the standard room. For the price, I'd rather try something new when i am back to london.
P. N.
The hotel was clean and tidy, our room was small but well furnished and clean. Plenty of choice of food for breakfast and the bar sells a wide range of drinks.
V. K.
-no slippers or glasses in a room
-we stayed for 2 days but shampoo and body wash was prepared only for one night stay
A. s. m.
Amazing stay at this hotel, great location, very comfortable rooms, good breakfast and extremely helpful staff. We’ll be back for sure.
A. D.
The hotel is very nice outside and inside. The rooms are very clean, and the personal is cleaning them every day very nice. The breakfast is delicious 🍳
H. A.
Amazing experience. Excellent customer service. Hotel situated in a great area. The hotel staff super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommended!
C. J.
No problems at all with this hotel, everything was up to standard. Staff were polite and friendly. Room very good for 3 people comfort wise
M. r.
Room are good to stay.
N. M.
One of the better Doubletree hotels I’ve stayed in. The staff were impeccable and it’s a great location as long as you’re willing to walk. Nice pubs nearby too.
D. T.
Good hotel. I liked very much my stay. Staff was very nice and they give you a great cookie when you check in.
E. T. U.
Friendly service and good location for London trip.
M. R.
One of many DoubleTree Hilton hotels in the UK. I watched "The Comedy about a Bank robbery" here and it was really funny, entertaining and light hearted. The bar was standardly priced and lets you order for the interval. The good thing about it not being too big is that most of the seats are pretty good and not too far away.
R. G.
For a work Christmas event. The staff were lovely and friendly and the atmosphere was nice. However, we were provided with Marco Pierre White Christmas hats in the hope of turning us into walking adverts and the food was definitely below par. Dry beef. Limp veg. Gritty cheesecake. This is the second time I've had one of MPWs meals and both times they've been dreadful. Give it up Marco!
J. E.
I stayed here for 3 nights. The reception was super helpful, always smiling and lovely bunch of people. I will certainly come and stay here again.
r. w.
Room keys duplicated for myself and two other guests causing breach of privacy
A. B.
Good value but wouldn't want to pay full price as a bit dated in bedrooms
P. A.
Good hotel. A perfect stay for your business trip. Only one complaint that they serve repeated breakfast. if you are on a long stay, you get bored.
V. P.
Service was excellent, rooms clean, bed OK but pillows were poor. Breakfast was very good with something for all.
L.
Nice Doubletree, includes Exec lounge, small 24hr gym, reasonable room rates, good as a business Hotel. Breakfast is good but can get busy with Tourists (if you leave it late midweek). Bit of a walk to Tubes (Pimlico or Westminster)
J. J.
Cozy room, nice restaurant they have and easy to access downtown
C. K.
Good service. Lovely breakfast options. Comfortable room. Shower is a little too narrow for my liking.
m. p.
Lovely stay, great location for Kings Cross, the regeneration of Regents Canal is a nice local walk. Great service, good room, very good dinner (just a burger, but very well cooked) and a nice breakfast.
R. P.
Stayed here for one night absolutely loved it the staff were 1st class nothing was to much trouble the room was spotless would definitely stay again really handy for the tube 5mins walk thank you for making our stay so nice
L. ..
Fine but not really a 4 stars
C. G.
I enjoy staying here. It’s one of the best places to stay around Islington, generally not too expensive for the area, nice comfortable rooms, decent breakfast and amenities. The staff are friendly and helpful.
N. V.
Nice hotel, no frills kind of place. Rooms are simple and inexpensive, staff is lovely. Everything was clean and up to standard.
S. P.
Check in was smooth, no issues during stay. I like that checkout is midday. Breakfast is far too expensive so we went to wetherspoons around the corner.
M. X.
Got a conference there. It was good. Not experience in rooms and other services.
K. V.
Ada , She was very polite and helpful. She recommended upgrade deluxe room and assisted tours. She made a reservation a hotel’s taxi to the airport.
J. M. T. v. G. (. Y.
Things are nice and clean, consider the price and location, it is good value to have a stay here
D. U.
Very nice and well presented hotel. Was in an arranged conference room for a work presentation. Comfortable, well laid out with good facilities and pleasing decor.
J. P.
Nice hotel
No towels in room but sorted
R. R.
Excellent service whilst I spent 2 nights at this hotel. Clean and tidy and wonderful breakfast. Great value for money too.
E. S.
The usual Doubletree quality. Warm welcome at arrival, with a delicious cookie. Very nice and friendly front desk. Room very clean and comfortable. Not cheap but that's London.
A. S.
Great service. The general manager is very personable. Great location lots of things to do
L. S.
Very nice 2 night stay, but my room wasn't cleaned when I was there.
S. E.
Nice location. Rooms, as expected, are very good. Reception area is very nice and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Would recommend.
D. A.
Nice décor, room was pretty basic but has everything you need. Staff were lovely but it gets very busy in the morning for breakfast so get there early
M. B.
Good location, lots of nice places to eat nearby, and handy for train and tube, although the interior of the room was a bit run down. Had a great deal on a family room.
D. M.
Very comfortable stay as always from DoubleTree, staff always happy to help and friendly. Had the breakfast buffet this time, which was all delish!
L. S.
Nice, modern hotel with good facilities. Rooms are spacious with a double and single bed. Marco Pierre White restaurant on premises. Friendly and helpful staff
A. M.
Stayed 3 nights mid April 18. Room and location was superb for the price we paid. Found that the room was cheapest booked directly through the Doubletree website.
B. O.
Nice rooms, Breakfast is ok. Average hotel at best, you want a cappachino with your breakfast? You had better pay the premium
D. P.
Enjoyed my four night's stay there very much. Great location, friendly and helpful staff, and good bar service.
T. “. M.
I only visited the bar and reception but both were nice, clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. Drink choices were fairly standard and the price was reasonable.
c. s.
Well located for a night out in islington. Friendly accommodating staff, rooms are ok but nothing special. We stayed on an offer, but we would think twice about paying full price.
L. M.
Would have liked this place better had the Tube line to it been open. It's a loong walk up a fair sized hill from Kings Cross when you're lugging a suitcase. There are frequent busses that stop just across the street that we just weren't familiar with yet upon arrival. We opted to upgrade to "executive" (50 pounds/day) which was pricey but worth the ability to eat and nap right away from our jetlag. The "canapes" equaled dinner, and the wine was good and plentiful. The single elevator was used to the hilt, meaning one had to wait awhile for it. Overall, a good location for the price and amenities.
J. C.
Great service, nice place. Will come back.
T. D.
One of my favourite hotels in London. Always a smiling face on arrival and so close to good transport options. Rooms are good and value for money is ok.
J. M.
Good hotel, good location, nicely refurbished. Close proximity to Kings Cross and Angel, with all of Angel/Islington on your doorstep to enjoy in the evening, it’s a close walk to Exmouth Market and Farringdon for dinner too.
L. L.
Nice spacious rooms. Very close to my office. Prefered location for all business trips for that area. Decent variety of options for breakfast.
G. T.
Decent hotel at great location. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The food was good and the service was pleasant
J. G.
A modern hotel with great views over London from the rooms on the higher floors at the front. Breakfast was really busy and service was a little slow
G. E.
Room was nice, staff were okay but everything was slightly impersonal. The breakfast was bland and luke warm.
A. S.
Nice and clean rooms. Excellent breakfast. Close to bit public buses and underground.
A. Z.
The hotel is very well located, not far from Saint Pancras and few minutes away from angel Station. The room was good and the room service discreet.
I. S.
A solid choice for a stay in London. There's another Hilton just a little few minutes' walks away where I've also stayed, and what I say here applies to both.
The area in general offers a good compromise between being close enough to what a tourist would consider the heart of London and being reasonably priced. This hotel is within walking distance of the British Museum, for example, though it is about 30 minutes. Same place goes for Oxford Street, Piccadilly etc - you can take a a long stroll or ride the tube. And for a good price you get a quiet location, very large (by London standards) rooms, modern decor and anything you need really, while still being close to everything, from Camden market, King's Cross station, Shoreditch, Bloomsbury etc.
Of course there are also many restaurants, bars and stores in the area. The only problem I faced was everything tends to close earlier than the more touristy places.
So whether you're in London for vacation our work (or both), this is a good choice.
J. M.
Stayed for 3 nights with family. Nice hotel in good location and very helpful staff. Would stay there again for future trips to London
M. M.
The hilton have got it right here!
I am a H Honours Gold Member, so upon arrival you get fresh, hot cookies given to you. Complimentary breakfast and most of the time better rooms! The staff are friendly and helpful when you need anything, like running to Sainsbury's to buy you deodorant. Now that is service!
A. W.
Good location, friendly staff, easy online check-in, warm welcome cookie, clean and warm room (with adjustable temperature), hot and powerful shower. Would definitely come back again!
S. C.
Booked room to run a training session for my local team. Despite a problem with the booking process they sorted everything quickly and got coffee and pastries sorted straightway. Professional and courteous service
J. S.
Great and very clean hotel, helpfull staff. Small breakfast area so when visiting at 9 am there was a queue.
C. R.
It’s ok, but they didn’t give us a cot after we asked them twice. Breakfast was decent, it’s all you can eat and they were good at keeping the buffet stocked up.
A. B.
Great service. Robert was great with us simple northerner. :)
C. W.
Great location, only a short walk to Angel tube station. Breakfast is excellent, best buffet service I've ever had and this includes other London Hilton locations.
A. Z.
Very good appearance, and very friendly staff. Price and room size was about right for central London. And they had a European outlet in the room! :D
M. L.
We shared a lovely piece of chateaubriand beaf with a nice argentin wine🍷 👌
Staff lovely but a bit too expensive for what you have in the plate. The sides are really really small. They should be a little more generous.
J. M.
I had a pleasant stay there for 4 nights. Nice and quiet rooms and friendly staff. Good breakfast.
G. W.
Well appointed rooms to the usual DoubleTree standard. But the best of the stay was the quality of the staff, particularly the head waiting staff in the restaurant.
A. F.
Absolutely lovely modern hotel one of the Hilton chain, this hotel has great lounge area plenty comfortable seating to just relax or maybe get some work done on your computer the facilities are great there is a cafeteria to get a bit to eat and drinks of your choice wither hot or cold or alcohol , the security to the floors of room is very good you can only access the floors by use of room key to operate the lifts , this is a great place to stay in Angel London close to all amenities and station .
J.
Excellent hotel! Staff were very friendly and the service was just overall fantastic! Would recommend 10/10
B. V.
Nice hotel . No complimentary breakfast though. Next to angel tube station and also 5 minute walk to Kings crossing station. Centrally located.
B. J.
Room was clean and spacious. Air conditioning was very welcome on a warm day. Breakfast was overpriced at £17pp
T. C.
Pretty loud on Fridays and Saturdays in December for Christmas parties. Service was average but rooms were well sized for the price and location.
J. F.
excellent room facilities central location to restaurants breakfast ok lots of it but perhaps not hot enough staff very friendly
T. T.
Lovely hotel. 220€ for room only . It was supposed to be a double room but definitely a single one. We literally.had no space.
Apart from that all good.
L. R.
The bar was really nice, service was good and waiters really friendly and professional. The dinner was nice even if the waiting time was pretty long and the meat was a bit overdone. Nice wine.
J. B.
Decent, good location for me otherwise I wouldn't go. Over priced as is much of London and these hotels are not premium they are bog standard
K. M.
Convenient location, comfortable rooms but that's not all; they give you a freshly baked cookie on arrival!
K. K.
Great location, spacious and tidy rooms. Good food, close to all modes of transport and very well connected. Close to great restaurants as well.
R. B.
Booked this hotel for a bit of break to see a specific Gallery in London. Amazing breakfasts with loads to choose from comfy bed also
M. R.
my wife and I loved our stay, from the room, to the breakfast buffet, to the attention the staff give to you, definitely we recommend this hotel
F. T.
I spent a week at DoubleTree for work and my stay was close to perfect. The bed is beyond comfortable and it made it so easy to stay in bed that I thought I would be late to work one morning. Breakfast is great as well but it can get a little bit boring if you're staying longer like I did. Besides that, everything was great. Next time I'm in London, I will be staying there.
N. O.
Staff are very welcoming, great location and excellent service. Will definetely come back
y. m.
Room was nice but small...didn't have cat park as fat add I could tell. Overall simple clean and pleasant

Excellent room and stay. Got a free upgrade which was nice. Room was peaceful and comfortable.

The room was excellent for my overnight as was the local area around it. Very few peoblems, the only major one was that we had a problem with our key on the first night.

J. L.
Nice rooms, great bar and lobby area, wifi works well. Great pub next door with a rooftop area with heaters!
H. P.
Convenient location brilliant for restaurants the rooms were a high standard and the staff seemed willing to go out of their way to help.

Great. The beds in our room had wheels so we could connect them together to get more space for the kids.
