P. D.Despite being way to old to come to this predominantly student pub, we like the staff, the beer is varied and plentiful and the staff always polite. Prices are good for London too !
P. R.The location is great, being in central London, and lots of the more popular tourist sites are in easy walking distance, while access to the Underground is just a few steps away.
The beds are soft. I prefer a more firm mattress, but I know people who would happily sleep on these. There are very few toilets and showers for the number of guests the hostel is able to accommodate. You may need to adjust your shower schedule in order to avoid the busiest times. Water is medium-hot. Pressure is low. Showers are not gender-segregated. There is one shower-room per floor, with two stalls per room. Some floors have more spacious stalls than others.
Breakfast is served in the attached bar. It is self-serve and consists of bread (toasters available) with butter and jam, cold cereal, fruit, juice, tea, instant-coffee.
Storing luggage in the luggage room is free.
Lockers are available for a reasonable fee.
On-site laundry is not self-serve, but the price is reasonable.
I. L.The location was perfect (central), staff was very friendly and service great, and the rooms were as described. In addition, the bar downstairs was a perfect spot to meet other travelers. However, during our visit, solely cold water was available including the showers, and toilets were barely cleaned (or then the other visitors were just super messy).
N. A.The accommodation is honestly a bit of a mess, of course it's a hostel, cheap, so that's what you get. Bit sad the bar underneath plays very loud music untill very late. Rather unfortunate for people sleeping on the first floor. One toilet and two showers for 24 (2*12) people is just manageable. Breakfast isn't much choice but fine! Beds are old but I was very comfortable! Staff is very friendly.

K. K.The hostel has a good location for public transportation. The closest metro is "Borough" within 2 min walking distance. You also have London Bridge with approximately 10-15 min walking distance.
I lived on the top floor which had clean showers, sink, and toilets. There is also a kitchen which was clean.
The rooms are non-ventilated and the windows have small holes which let in air. It was cold in the room and no possibility to get an extra blanket even if you're willing to pay for it. I got a cold and had to sleep with some extra layers of clothes. There are no separate plugs beside each bed but a block with electrical sockets placed close to each bunk bed. The wifi wasn't strong so I stoped using it. There was also a constant noise coming from the roof (or pipes?) as if it was raining 24/7 even though it wasn't.
J. “. H.The location is great.. Metro is close. Beds are okay but too soft.. Kitchen is located near our room. One thing I hate is such a noise around the hostel. In the hall was opened window and outside was -1°C so in the hall was also -1°C. But near that hall is bathroom, which does not have electrical outlet. The next thing is noise from the bar under our room. After 10pm they lowered the volume.. but for someone who need to sleep earlier the noise is kinda disadvantage.
F. M.Staff is great and the location is fairly central, also conveniently located near Borough Station. Building is old but that's part of the charm. Certain guests seem to be middle-aged men and not genuine travellers. They give off a creepy vibe but that's the only downside to this place. Breakfast is free for guests and really good.
M. L.As far as hostels go this is actualy good, clean beds comfy beds good bathroom facilities and well stay in almost central london for £18 AMAZING. The down side its located on top of a bar and the noise of young students and thudding music meant no sleep until 3am..... staff are lovely and the breakfast good. I would go back but not on w friday or Saturday night when the bar is likely to e busy

- sometimes (even during week) it gets pretty noisy at night because of the bar downstairs -we stayed at the top floor, I used earplugs yet I could still hear the noise
- bathroom in the second floor is a pure nightmare. No water pressure whatsoever. I’d recommend to use bathroom on first floor
- in the morning it’s pretty difficult to find a not occupied toilet, not to mention some free showers
However the location and price ratio is greatq, so for a few nights, I’d totally recommend it.
R. D.Friendly staff, affordable accommodation, secure location. Located in the center of the city, close to the London Bridge, and right near a tube station, there are many activities to do and lots of sights to see! The pub downstairs is great, and I can recommend that, if you are hungry, order a pizza, or two. Great experience!

J. D.Great quality/price ratio! The matress,duvet and pillow were very confortable and the free breakfast was pleasant. The kitchen wasn't worth much and it was mostly used for storage of food in the fridge and as a hang out/pre gaming spot. Reception was very nice. Showers and toilets in good condition. The only problem is the light that comes in the room and the noise since you NEED to leave the windows open in the summer. Just bring a blindfold and some earplugs and you should be fine.

Excellent. Cheap. Organized. Quite nice hostel experience in the city of London. Lovely breakfast. Very very comfy and clean, large bed. Silent / I stayed on the 3rd floor. Clean toilets and showers at each floor. Hangers enough to everyone in the room. Shower has a big space - good for privacy. Small but a nice room for four guests. Enough plug-ins for chargers. Exceeded my expectations! 5 GBP, if you want to use the laundrette inside the hostel. Free wifi. You can borrow iron, towels, or adapters from the reception desk. Located in the city centre + safe place + close to the underground!
Definitely value for money. Will visit again!!
Negative :
Smell of the kitchen. No lockers in the room. No plugs and lights near the beds. No lift. On the third floor wifi is not good enough / very slow internet connection! Only one shower for the whole floor. No study area. (But i think those are not big problems...)
A. P.For its location it serves well priced beer, as it's also a hostel there's an unusual crowd for where it is. I only visited the bar, which is small and I imagine could get quite snug in warmer weather. Would meet the lads there for more beers, but probably wouldn't take the missus on a date night.
R. -.Very friendly staff and good location. However, the showers were poor and there was a lot of noise at night (because of the bar and quite a busy street). The included breakfast was just disappointing, there was only toast (with butter and marmelade), milk with cornflakes and one piece of fruit. Not much to choose from, really. For just one night the place is fine, but I wouldn't like staying there for much longer.
V.One day, two days or a week in London... This could be your best budget hotel to go.... Located near a subway, and almost in the London city centre.., shard tower is half a mile from this place.... The bar is too good, and I had been to it on two night.. mostly young crowd, and the ambience is far good to experience..., Don't expect luxury ! I went to just sleep here for a night but the bar and lockers are an added advantage for my stay here.
V. M.Decent hostel, great location, 10 minutes walk from Tate modern and Borough market. Simple breakfast but for the price you pay it is more than enough. Friendly staff. Good choice if you are on a tight budget. For me - the main benefit was it's location.
M. B.OK for an overnight stay, nothing more. Within walking distance of Tower Bridge, London Bridge, Tate Modern, London Eye, etc. The 24 hour reception is a bonus as well. Only really suitable for those on a tight budget, and are not too fussy about creature comforts.

Cons: Dirty sheets. If you are sleeping in first floor you hear the music from the pub. Also very small common room with very old couches.
T. G.A really great hostel if you are looking around central london. Easy access to the underground and all the major tourist hotspots are within walking distance or a quick hop on a bus. The hostel itself is pretty good although the beds were a bit too soft and some of the washroom taps did not work. The staff are amazing and super helpful. Props to the Finnish guy at reception too! Will gladly book again here next time I'm visiting London.
D. S. D.I stayed in this hostel for two days and very happy with the accommodation provided. My room was in top most floor, room area, toilet all cleaned. However wifi net connectivity is very slow in top floor so I did not use net from my room. Staffs are very helpful though. Neraest metro station "Borough" is just 2 mins walking distance from this hostel.

J. A.The staff is so helpful, and help us with every thing. The room was simple and clear. We stayed in a room with 12 beds and was on the third floor. It was silent e calm. The bathroom was clear and works.

S. S.Best packing trip of my life. We stayed in Dover Castle, loved everybit of it. The Dorms were clean and people are quite friendly here. Stayed here for 3 nights. I is in close proximity to the Thames and London Bridge.. Over all it was a good experience..
N. K.It's an older build but for what you paid it's pretty good. The only time I stayed in the hostel was when I was sleeping and showering. It has a full kitchen and living room as well. Free breakfast.
C.Cheapest pint in London by a country mile (£2.80 Carling). Hostel isn't the best, could do with storage lockers. Decent bar though. Sometimes it's a student only night and you aren't allowed in unless you go to kings.

-no wifi starting from the second floor up) not even in the rooms in the 1st floor) which is painful, I had to stand in the corridor or forcing myself downstairs to an uncomfortable room named living room, or even totally downstairs to the bar to get a decent connection
-everything makes squeaky sound ( stairs,doors, floors) like everything
-no light for each individual bed, which makes a problem for people coming in while you sleep
-paying for a personal locker??? Are you kidding me?? Yes as u read it, you have to pay to use a personal locker with an old fashioned real key 🔑 ( in Germany its for free and with a magnetic coded key) u also pay 5 pound if u lost the key, and for the locker its half pound for the small one or one pound for the big one
-beds are normal ( could be better for sure)
-shower has only one tap, and it's always hot water, sink has 2 different taps one ia extremely hot while the other is freezing cold
-one shower and one bathroom for each floor, which is definitely a nightmare specially when the hostel is fully booked, you could wait for at least one hour to do anything
- The sound of the music from the bar is extremely high that the rooms in the 1st floor no one can sleep in it till 2 am ( daily) or you are forced to go down to the bar as long as you can't sleep ( utterly disgusting)

Très bien pour le prix. L'auberge est super bien située et les lits sont confortables. Le personnel est accueillant et le déjeuner à volonté est bon. L'auberge dispose également d'un bar, ce qui a ses bons et ses mauvais côtés: le soir, la musique se fait entendre jusque dans les chambres. J'ai tout de même beaucoup apprécié mon séjour!

O hostel é simples, mas tem brasileiro na recepção, o que te ajuda para montar seu roteiro. Fica há 2 minutos de estação de metrô. Tem cozinha. Os quartos são mistos e o banheiro é coletivo. Pra ficar poucos dias serve, mas se você for ficar mais é não gostar de coletividade, evite! Mais dicas @michelecx

Stanza un po' meno che essenziale ma pulita. Bagni piccoli e disorganizzati che vengono però puliti più volte al giorno. Il pub al pian terreno è da vivere assolutamente! Un punto a favore è sicuramente la reception H24 con personale gentilissimo. Nel complesso un giusto rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Es un buen Hostel calidad precio. Está bien ubicado dentro de londres, el desayuno es muy bueno, los empleados son muy amables, si todavía no hiciste le check-in podés dejar la valija gratis y te prestan el adaptador para los enchufes gratis también. Die Küche im erdten Stock ist geräumig und bietet neben Ofen/Herd auch einen Fernseher und Sitzmöglichkeiten um den Abend mit anderen Anwohnern zu verbringen. Das Frühstück wirf von 7.30-9.30 in der Bar gestellt und selbdt im Gegensatz zu manchen Hotels mehr als gut! Bargäste oder Fremde haben jedoch keine Möglichkekt in die Zimmer zu gelangen, da beide Türen durch Zahlenschlösser verriegelt sind.Bäder sind auf jedem Stockwerk vorhanden.
Ebenfalls gut ist die Rezeption, die 24/7 geöffnet, nun kommen wir aber zu den Abzügen.
Die Rezeption ist im ersten UG und mein Zimmer lag im 3. OG.
Das kann, ohne Aufzüge schon ziemlich Anstrengend sein, wenn man viel Gepäck hat.
