Reviews of Eurotraveller Hotel Express (E & C) Southwark
Warm, clean, welcoming, basic, helpful, convenient, great pillows, an excellent night's sleep.
Many thanks to the chap who checked us in on a very cold night, to our very late & last minute, life saving booking.
Very Good Services
Room was furnished nicely & bed was comfortable. Staff were welcoming. It was very warm in the room even with heating off and location meant the room could become a bit noisy.
A very basic hotel but the rooms are very clean, have a simple but clean bathroom and there is a 24 hour reception. And for London it is very reasonably priced.
Hotel was reasonably priced, room was clean with fresh towels and shampoo in the bathroom.
Bed was comfortable and tv worked 😀
Very reasonable price for London room was clean and plenty big enough. The hotel is located in walking distance of many of the city centre attractions
Can't fault a thing. Cheap and cheerful with everything you could need for a night or two stay. Beds were a little on the hard/small side but not enough to put me off staying again.
Super Cheap, Super Central and Super Friendly.
I could mention the things that are wrong with this place. I could tell you how it could be improved. But, at £69 per night on a weekend, I really couldn't fault the place.
Great price, good location, 20 min by bus from all touristic places, great Internet. Simple, clean but everything you need to rest.
Decent hotel, clean and a good price for London. Great location, especially for Elephant and Castle and Ministry of Sound.
Good staff clean good location stayed there about 15 times
Great staff, clean room and good location.
Friendly staff, easy to book. Quick check-in and even faster check out. Well done!
Good for short time stay, a bit noisy through the door
Clean and cheap - decent value for London ,booked via late rooms
Reasonable hotel for the money
Clean basic room
Small, basic but good value and great central location
Ok place to stay... Could do with a really good clean
Cheap clean
Cheap hotel in London. Just good for sleeping one or two nights.
Card stopped working, awkward, but the staff was prompt to fix the lock.
Basic but price competitive plus very friendly staff
Only stay here if you plan to be out of the hotel a lot. Facilities were basic but adequate. TV was a good size. Bathroom was also a good size, but the shower was difficult to work and temperature varied a little. Couldn't seem to get it hot either.
There was an empty mini fridge in the room which was really handy for keeping snacks in.
Room was fine but I would have hated to stay any longer than a few days. Staff tended not to be friendly but weren't rude either.
I would only stay there again if I had no other option. Currently I'm a student and can't afford a nicer hotel. Given the option, no I would not return.
Place is outdated. Staff is very nice and helpful though.
Everything you need from the cozy little hotel on a not-so-quiet street
Clean comfortable budget hotel
Cheap hotel in London. Just good for sleeping one or two nights.
Nice big bedroom with international plugs.
Everything you need from the cozy little hotel on a not-so-quiet street
Very Good Services
Amazing place to stay.
Value for money
Very clean and friendly staff
The hotel does the job, don’t expect nothing fancy. It is nearby the center of London.
If you are not a good sleeper, bring your ear plug because there is no sound insulation. Otherwise, in regard to the price I recommend the place.
By the way, if you like Latin musics, there is a Latin night club next to the hotel.
X-men movie money with social
Good advice apart from a drizzling shower!
Great budget hotel
Decent budget hotel

Amazing place to stay.
Value for money
Very accommodating
Cool
It was okay
A good price for London, and we'll connected by transports (a bus stop at 20m from the hotel and the tube is at 10 min foot).
The personal is very welcoming and the room comfortable.
The negative point : the room is not always well done (empty pillowcase was on the desk when I came back to my room at the end of the day, the bin not always change even if it was full...), the bar was closed during the week... And the location of this hotel wich isn't so beautiful, and there is not so many bar or good restaurants in the area... But I think it will change in a few months (I saw a lot of buildings projects)
Good stuff
Budget hotel with reasonable rooms. Fortunately good beds. Despite the indication that you can park there, this is not the case. You can park along the road, if there is space, for free between 18:30 and 8:30. During the day it is paid (3.20 GBP/h) or for permit holders. Breakfast (service) is also not there, fortunately you can have a good breakfast at Amore about 100 meters away for a small amount. The staff consists of not very hospitable Indians who mainly make sure that you pay everything as soon as possible and otherwise want to have as little to do with you as possible so that they can continue the conversation on the phone with family and friends. The Elephant and Castle district is lively and seems quite safe and good.
(Translated) For the prices there are in London as a hotel I stayed for 6 nights every day they cleaned the room and changed the towels .. Comfortable beds .. a few meters away you can find bus and metro stops so it is easy to move nearby you will find an Italian restaurant Pappagone south I recommend ... mecdonalds and supermarkets

For location and price it is very good, the buses that pass nearby take you to both St. Pancras and the main attractions of the city. You can even walk to Big Ben, it takes about 20 minutes to get there. The general view of the hotel can be improved.
(Translated) Not the best hotel but it was very quiet and there is everything you would expect in the rooms

Pas le meilleur hôtel mais il était très calme et il y a tout ce donc on s'attend dans les chambres
Excellent quality/price, convenient to services and transport, very comfortable beds
Perfect value for money. To be remembered compared to the more central but very comfortable and expensive London hotels.
The hotel is convenient to the metro and buses. Nearby there is a discount store and McDonald's.
Decent hotel but with a great price for London, the price earns it stars in the quality/price ratio.
(Translated) Great hotel. However, it smells a bit spicy since the hotel is run by Indians

Super hotel. Jedoch riecht es etwas würzig da hotel von Inder geführt wird
Extremely clean hotel. Pleasant front of house staff, helpful. Room was perfect, comfortable and nicely laid out. Quite basic but very affordable for London. Will stay again.
(Translated) Very nice little hotel with a nice location in London. I would use it again.

Rigtig fint lille hotel med en fin placering i London. Jeg ville bruge det igen.
A bit dirty but nice staff. Don't expect much more than a place to sleep.
You have to be satisfied with what it offers, clean and tidy room.
Cleanliness and staff service could be improved...
My towel was stolen.
Very hot
Clean and very comfortable. A nice Latin bar next door so a night out is pretty much sorted! Manned reception and pretty good security
Clean but very cramped and basic rooms. Cheap tho.
THERE IS NO FREE PARKING AT THIS HOTEL, EVEN IF THEY SAY THERE IS! All parking is on the busy neighbouring streets.
Great staff, very clean, will use again
Neighborhood isn't the greatest and it's not really close to anything. However the price is right, the room was ok and the bus lines quickly get you to the London Bridge or Trafalgar Square areas. Definitely a budget saver style hotel but not the place you want to stay on a romantic get away unless you significant other loves to save money as much as you do.
