M. L.Clean, comfortable rooms, very friendly staff, affordable prices, and a GREAT location. If you come here expecting a US type of hotel room, you will be disappointed. The rooms are tiny, and lift and hallways are cramped and small (my fiancee and I could barely fit in the lift together!). But the bed is comfortable, there are extra pillows and blankets, everything is clean, the staff is very nice, the prices are less than half of what you would pay at the larger chain hotels, and the location just can't be beat. Just a block or so from the Earl's
Court tube station, from where you can catch a train to nearly any location of note. Plus there are great restaurant choices all along Earl's Court Road, and a large Tesco's a short walk away if you want to get your own food and snacks (no fridge or microwave in room, though - put it on the windowsill if you want to keep it cold!).
Our only complaint is with the plumbing - the low-flow toilets require 3 or more flushes every time, the water pressure in the shower is non-existent, and every time someone else in the hotel uses water the temperature of the shower changes dramatically - sometimes cold, sometimes scalding. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars.
P. H.The room was indeed small but clean and comfortable the staff awesome. The only complaint was the breakfast it was not worth the money they asked. Toast, cold cereal, juice, hard boiled egg and plain runny yogurt. But aging I would stay there again just not have the breakfast. 8 pounds there is many coffee shops around.
C. D.Our stay at the hotel was a nice one. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was easy to find, and our rooms were clean and spacious. The beds in the hotel were comfy and I had a good night's sleep. Tea, coffee, sugar, cups and a kettle was provided so you could make your own drinks from the comfort of your own room. The hotel is a 2 minute walk to the nearest Underground which made travelling quite easy.
There were only a few little things that caused some inconvenience. One of these was the size of the lift - it is very small (only 2 people) and at one part of our stay we was waiting 15 minutes for the elevator to arrive. The breakfast was limited to white/brown bread to make toast (alongside a variety of jams/butter/honey), and cereal. There was also a choice between hot and cold milk, 2 juices, and tea and coffee.
Overall my stay was a pleasant one and would return to the hotel if visiting the area again!
W. C.July 2019 review- We were at room 23/28. Simple room. Toilet and shower area is clean. This is not a 5 star hotel. Just a place to sleep overnight after a long day outside. No facilities. 3 minutes walk to Earl Court Underground station. Access to both Piccadilly and District Lines. Has Co-Op supermarket and ample restaurants nearby. Front Staffs are friendly and helpful.
A. G.Superb neighbourhood, here you will find traditional bars and restaurants as well as supermarket and services. We booked a double room, it was well cleaned but quite small. Receptionist very polite. The hotel is 3/4 minute walk from the Underground. I would recommend it as a starting point for a 5 days trip in London.
M. P.The price for the room was very reasonable, especially for London. The location was great - neighborhood was very quiet, close to train stations, great eateries nearby. On the downside, there is no air conditioning or fans in the rooms so it was very warm in the summer. The double room was fairly small as well. The continental breakfast consisted only of toast, cold cereal, juice and coffee.
K. D.We're a couple, both 27 Years old and stayed in this nice little Hotel for a 6-days City-Trip.
The Hotel and it's rooms are pretty small, which isn't a great concern if you're just staying there to sleep. We were a little bit unlucky with our bed, because our mattress was pretty old and used which wasn't ideally comfortable. Another small concern was that the walls and doors were pretty thin so that you could here everybody who was arriving or leaving - especially on the ground floor where we stayed until 11-12 p.m. On the other hand the Hotel lies in Earls Court which is a pretty quiet place and we got more then enough good sleep in the end.
We can't tell anything about the breakfast because 8 Pounds per day seemed a little bit much to us and we went outside the hotel for that - Which was even more expensive. :'D Same with the staff which was very nice to us in the little time we spoke to them during checkin and checkout.
The Bathroom was very clean, the shower nice with very hot water and alltogether very good. The only concern here was again the pretty thin door, which you couldn't close properly and you could here almost everything through.
Another great benefit for this Hotel is the connection to the underground and bus system. The Underground station Earls Court ist only 2,3 minutes by foot away and connects to the District and Picadilly lines. With only one change of trains you can reach almost every corner of London. In general you're pretty close to the tourist hot spots with only a 20 Minute drive.
In the area around the Hotel are plenty options of Supermarkets, Pubs, Restaurants etc. We found some new place to eat every evening - A tip for every sports fan is the "Famous three Kings" at the Station West Kensington (If i remember correcty), whicht shows every game you can think of if you ask them.
Nevertheless we were very happy with the Hotel and would really recommend it for a few days long trip.
D.My son and I stayed here in November 2017. Very nice and clean. Friendly staff. Excellent location, only a five-minute walk to Earls Court tube station (check for the Tardis!) . Lots of shops and restaurants nearby, while still being in a quiet neighborhood. We were lucky and had lovely views of the park across the street. Minor negative: the bathrooms (at least in our single rooms) were TINY. I had to do contortions to get into the bathroom and be able to close the door behind me so I could take a shower. My poor son, who is 6'3", had an even worse time. But you know what? We didn't care. It's become one of those fun stories to giggle about when recalling our trip to London :-)

I've stayed in way better hotel's and way worse but it's close to the tube and ok if your not expecting much from a hotel in terms of space and good sized bathroom / shower.

Rooms were modern and clean, we had a issue with a window in one room and they moved us into another without fuss.

J. B.Had a pleasant 4 night stay here, rooms are cozy and staff is very friendly. Be careful staying here in summer though, since the rooms appear to be made to capture heat for the cooler months. Fans are supplied to rooms, so if you’re okay with the heat, then you shouldn’t have much trouble.
M. F.I have stayed at the Garden View hotel on two occasions now. The location is ideal, it is in a quiet area of Earls court overlooking a park. Just 2 minutes walk from Earls Court underground and just 20 minutes from all the museums. The rooms are a little dated now and could do with a bit of a refurbishment but they are clean. The breakfast room is larger then most of thus the and situated on the first floor, not buried away in the basement. Breakfast is quite basic with toast, tea and cereals, but more then adequate. This is all about value for money and a great location, for a budget hotel it is one of the best in the area.
A. C.It's a nice place to stay, and being located within 2 minutes walk from the tube station Earl's Court make it a reachable place without any trouble even if you are carrying some luggage, it also is near to Earl's Court Road where you can find nice places to have great food.
The staff at Garden View is incredibly nice, they would help in anything thay can, rooms are comfortable and coffee and tea is complimentary, however there's still room to improve regarding to cleanliness as under the bed was a bit dusty, but overall is a great place to stay, and personally will book again.

We stayed during a heatwave and I sadly got heat stroke from the second floor room, but they luckily had a room on the ground floor available and let us move, so overall our stay was very comfortable. J. H.Compared to the other hotels in this rather expensive district the Garden View Hotel is cheap and good in general. Of corse one has to have rational expectations for this price - the rooms are very small and there was no place in the cupboard to stow the clothing. On the other side the sleeping room as well as the bathroom were clean and the used towels were exchanged the dalily. There were minor lacks in the room: one LED was broken, the showerhead was slightly damaged and no toilet brush and no fridge were available. The staff were friendly and helpful in general and the reception is open 24/7. For breakfast they have very little to offer: brown/white toast+butter/jam, cereals, warm water/milk, tea and coffee.

木.I stayed seven nights here in June 2014. Its location, cost-effectiveness was good. Accommodations such as bathroom, shower, etc worked fine in my stay. At breakfast, plain bread, fruit jam, and milk were available by myself.
R. Z.Clean and tidy, but yes its a kinda outdated. Beware of the lift, better yet take stairs if you're having a lite luggage. But the good news is very close to the station, like super close. Great option if you need to catch flight from Heathrow especially with heavy luggage strolling 😊😊😊

Good location, friendly staff, brochures in the lobby to help you think of things to do if you are looking to fill an afternoon. It's a beautiful view. There is a tesco within a 5 minute walking distance.
Cons; The "lobby" is a bench that is right at the front desk. The carpet is all the same stripes layout (it might be that I'm clumsy but I fell) throughout the stairs and hallways. The layout of the room was a not what I'm used to. You can't control heating or A/C.
v. t.The garden view hotel doesn't have much of a view. The odour was little annoying and the lift is very small. Ok if you can't manage very expensive hotel during the rush month of August.

- breakfast is "basic" and not very varied
- the toilets have the big problem (solved with a little effort) of shower curtains instead of a door: the bathroom gets flooded and the shower is not pleasant.
The general line is a good solution 10 minutes by tube from central London.

È un buon hotel, vicinissimo alla metro di Earl's Court, in una zona silenziosa e allo stesso tempo fornita di molti servizi (bar, ristoranti e negozi).
Le addette alla reception e la signora delle colazioni sono gentilissime e disponibili e la pulizia è davvero molto buona.
Non c'è la moquette ed è un bene...
I punti "no":
- la colazione è "essenziale" e non molto variegata
- le toilette hanno il grande problema (risolvibile con un po' di impegno) delle tende doccia al posto di uno sportello: il bagno si allaga e la doccia non risulta piacevole.
Il linea generale una buona soluzione a 10 minuti in metro dal centro di Londra.

駅近で治安良く、近くにテスコもあって軽い買い物も楽に出来る。このエリアでこの価格、かつエレベーターが付いていて24時間フロント。女性の一人旅には大満足のホテルだと思う。接客も丁寧だ。部屋はシンプルだが狭いとは感じなかった。むしろ１人部屋の作りだけかわからないがドアからベッドスペースまでが廊下のようになっていて広く感じた。シャワールームは口コミどおりたしかに狭く、ドアがなくカーテンではあるが 分かった上で宿泊すると大して気にならない。 とても居心地良く、目の前のパークの緑も美しく 大体1万2千円は超えるこのエリアでこのホテルはまた泊まりたいオススメホテルである。

Hotel discreto. Ottima posizione, ben servita dai mezzi che collegano direttamente al centro città. Dovrebbero curare di più però alcuni dettagli nelle stanze, soprattutto il bagno: sistemare la doccia, il lavandino spruzza acqua ovunque, lo sciacquone è molto duro da premere e funziona poco. La colazione non è inclusa: costa 5 £ a persona e, seppure dicano essere continentale, in realtà non offre nulla se non del pane tostato e dei cereali. Con qualche piccolo accorgimento, potrebbe essere un ottimo albergo

L'hotel era molto grazioso e ospitale. Ti sentivi subito a casa.. la receptionist parlava anche italiano quindi era una fortuna per noi che non conosciamo bene l'inglese. L'unica pecca negativa era il bagno.. avevamo la maniglia (del bagno appunto) che si staccava se sforzavi.. e il lavandino che era attaccato molto male e sembrava veniva giù appena ti appoggiavi..un po' di accortezza ed é veramente un bel hotel

Hotel in ottima posizione. Si trova nel quartiere di Earl's Court, zona 2. La fermata della metro e dei bus sono a poche centinaia di metri dall'hotel. È un 2 stelle ma per gli standard di Londra è un buon hotel. Finalmente non c'è moquette in camera ma il parquet, anche se in alcuni punti scricchiolante. È ben riscaldato e c'è il cambio degli asciugamani giornalmente. Difetta sulla pulizia.
K. H. H.(Translated) The hotel is a lovely old building, in excellent condition in the Kensington area - elevator is available. My room was clean and equipped with a king size bed, as well as a TV, kettle and hairdryer. There were also tea bags and a coffee with milk in the room. the free hotel wifi was very good. The room itself is not one of the largest but is enough for the short time you spend in the hotel. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom is rather small but sufficient, only the toilet flush (although it worked) had too little pressure so you had to lower it several times.
The environment is rather quiet and you can sleep without disturbance at night.
Nearby, about 500 meters, there is a supermarket that is open around the clock, which is also well frequented at night as there are many hotels in this area. The next tube station is about 200m away, where you can get drinks, sandwiches etc. at night. There is also a small electrical shop where I got my UK plug with a USB connection at a reasonable price.
The breakfast (between 7.30 and 10.00 a.m.) was a continental breakfast, i.e. coffee, tea, cocoa, toast (toaster was ready and worked very well) eggs, cereals, milk, butter, jam. It was good and there was enough.
I personally can absolutely recommend this hotel, cheap and good. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Das Hotel ist ein schönes altes Gebäude, in bestem Zustand im Bezirk Kensington - Lift ist vorhanden. Mein Zimmer war sauber und mit King Size Bett, sowie TV, Wasserkocher und Föhn ausgestattet. Auch waren Teebeutel und Löskaffe mit Milch am Zimmer. das kostenlose Hotel WLAN war sehr gut. Das Zimmer selbst gehört nicht zu den größten reicht aber für die Kurze Zeit die man im Hotel verbringt. Das Bett war Bequem. Das Bad ist eher Klein aber ausreichend, einzig die WC Spülung (funktionierte zwar) hatte aber zuwenig Druck sodass man mehrmals runterlassen musste.
Die Umgebung ist eher Ruhig und man kann Nachts störungsfrei Schlafen.
In der Nähe, ca.500 meter, ist ein Supermarkt der Rund um die Uhr offen hat, dieser ist auch Nachts gut besucht, da es viele Hotels in dieser Gegend gibt. Die nächste Tube station ist ca.200m entfernt in der man auch Nachts Trinken, Sandwiches etc. bekommt. Auch ein kleiner Elektroladen ist dort zu finden, wo ich meinen Stecker für England mit USB anschluss günstig bekamm.
Das Frühstück (zwischen 7.30 und 10.00 Uhr) war ein Kontinental Frühstück, sprich Kaffee, Tee, Kakao, Toastbrot (Toaster stand bereit und arbeitete sehr gut) Eier, Ceralien, Milch, Butter, Marmelade. Es war gut und genug vorhanden.
Ich persönlich kann dieses Hotel absolut empfehlen, günstig und gut. Das Personal ist freundlich und Hilfsbereit.

L’hotel si trova in una zona molto tranquilla, a Nevern Square (una piazza con al centro un bel giardino privato) a Kensington a 50 metri dalla fermata della metro di Earls Court. Decisamente comodo per chi vuole visitare Londra.
La reception è attiva 24 ore su 24, il personale è molto gentile e disponibile e parlano tutti italiano (EVVIVA!!!).
Le camere sono “essenziali”, ma hanno tutto ciò che occorre, sono pulite e, se sei fortunato, prende anche il Wi-Fi. Hanno tutte il pavimento in legno (e non la moquette), un set con il bollitore, bustine di tè, latte e caffè solubile, la TV ed il bagno privato con la doccia ed un piccolo asciugacapelli. Unica cosa negativa, le stanze (almeno le nostre e quelle che ho visto) sono piccole. E per piccole, intendo veramente piccole. Io, da sola, mi ci muovevo a stento. I miei amici si incastravano. Se una era in stanza, l’altro doveva essere in bagno. Ed il bagno era più piccolo dell’armadio!
L’unica altra cosa negativa per me (e sottolineo per me), oltre alla “grandezza” delle stanze, è stata la colazione: un po’ troppo misera per varietà: cereali, toast integrali e non, marmellata, burro, miele, succo darancia e succo di mele, latte, caffè solubile, thè. Colazione abbondante, ma avrei sperato in una varietà un po’ più ampia (bacon? Uova? Panini?).
Vicino ci sono ristoranti, fast food, caffè e supermercati…
In conclusione, l’hotel perfetto per chi esce al mattino e rientra solo per dormire. Lo consiglio.

Concernant le petit déjeuner, nous avons préféré le prendre hors de l'hôtel car l'hôtel propose un petit déjeuner trop restreint (des céréales, du café, quelques jus orange ou pomme, du thé et des tartines).
Je met seulement 3 étoiles car j'ai été déçu de la vue de ma chambre. Nous avion vu sur un autre immeuble, pas de "garden view" pour nous, malheureusement, seulement un énorme vis a vis, dommage !
De plus, il faisait très chaud dans la chambre (chauffage allumé en plein été..) et le ménage du sol n'était pas fait régulièrement.
