j. k.Travelling for work. Wasn't tto convinced after receiving email that staff might not be there when I arrive, and was advised to ring 10 min before arrival- no success as line busy all the time. Fortunately, staff was there, premises better than expected- spacious dinning room and big garden. I liked the decor throughout-maybe slightly dated but tasteful and clean. No evening meal on offer but there's a busy street round the corner with plenty places to eat. Breakfast was alright- it would benefit from printed menu instead of waitress reciting all the options for each guest. Will definitely return.

N. B.Our stay at the Glenlyn Hotel was great! The free breakfast was hot, fresh and very tasty. The room we stayed in was smaller, but that may just be because I’m American. Staff was also very kind and worked hard to make sure we were comfortable and safe. Would come back again!
k.I stayed here on a recent business trip. Very friendly staff. Room basic, but clean, and adequate. Breakfast was included, with a selection of cereals, pastries, fruit etc.there is also a cooked breakfast if you prefer, with a choice of sausage, bacon, tomato, mushroom and scrambled egg. Sausage was like rubber and bacon always overdone so didn't enjoy too much.
Location is good, not far from Woodside tube station, and a high street with restaurants and bars. So not far to go for dinner etc. I would stay here again. It was fine for business trip. All on all, pleasant stay.
D. P.Very convenient location for a night out around London if you're coming from the North. Very friendly staff. Every member of staff had a smile. Breakfast was good. Cosy feel about the place. Our room was satisfactory but very tired. All the furniture looked ready for the bin, to be honest. It was clean enough but not at all fresh. The bed was ok but not terrific. I would stay again but would enquire if any of the rooms have been more recently furnished, etc.

M.(Translated) Although the place is not on the level of a really 4 strong hotel, the rooms are clean and cute, the English breakfast is excellent and excellent, the staff are social, the place is great for access to central London via the tube, and you can also rent an extended apartment.
It is ideal for access to London, and includes parking. For me, I need a car to visit friends and family, and also to get to central London for recreation and work.
I have visited London many times and I always return to the Glenville Hotel.

אומנם שהמקום לא ברמה של בית מלון 4 כוחבים ממש, החדרים נקיים וחמודים, ארוכת בוקר אנגלי אשיר ומצויין, העובדים חברתיים, המקום נהדר לגישה למרכז לונדון דרך רכבת התחתית, וגם אפשר לשכור דירה מורחבת.
זה אידיאלי לגישה ללונדון, וכולל חניה. בשבילי, אני צריך רכב כדי לבקר אצל החברים ומשפחה, וגם להגיע למרכז לונדון בשביל בילויים ועבודה.
ביקרתי הרבה פעמים בלונדון ואני תמיד חוזר לבית מלון גלנוויל.

January 2019 Bedroom 26, an indescribably dilapidated attic (supporting photos)
- Depressing layout and equipment,
- deplorable sanitary facilities, obsolete taps (not even a mixer), toilet seat ...
- Completely worn parquet ...,
- Stained walls ...
- Opposite the bedroom: a wall with a window,
- Threaded carpet corridors and access stairs. ...
According to Oscar's testimony in 2012, we apparently had the same room in 2019 with the sad observation of no renovation since 2012 !!! ...
Even clean it doesn't make you want to sleep there and even less to take a shower ...
The staff are friendly and helpful but contrary to what is advertised on the site, none speak French. The private parking is in fact in the street in front of the hotel, the garden behind is hardly more welcoming because vis-à-vis despicable.
The only positive point is the hotel's location with respect to the metro access 500 m away.

Janvier 2019 Chambre 26, une mansarde d’une vétusté indescriptible (photos à l’appui)
- Agencement et équipement déprimants,
- sanitaires déplorables, robinetteries obsolètes (même pas de mitigeur), lunette des toilettes…
- Parquet complètement usé…,
- Murs tachés…
- Vis-à-vis de la chambre : un mur avec une fenêtre,
- Moquette élimée couloirs et escaliers d’accès.…
D’après le témoignage d’Oscar en 2012, nous avons eu apparemment en 2019 la même chambre avec le triste constat d’aucune rénovation depuis 2012 !!!…
Même propre ça ne donne pas envie d’y dormir et encore moins de prendre une douche…
Le personnel est aimable et serviable mais contrairement à ce qui est annoncé sur le site, aucun ne parle français. Le parking privé est en fait dans la rue devant l’hôtel, le jardin derrière n’est guère plus accueillant car vis-à-vis désolant.
Seul point positif, la situation de l’hôtel par rapport à l’accès du métro à 500 m.
