Good value for money, good parking and close to tube station. Not so sure about the toilet and the bathroom door. Also despite of telling the reception to clean our room it wasn't cleaned so a bit disappointed with that. Breakfast was good and the breakfast staff was very welcoming.

I had my graduation ceremony at ExCel earlier this week, so I decided to stay at a nearby hotel. I picked Hampton by Hilton because they had fantastic rates and overwhelmingly good reviews. My expectations were met when I finally stayed there.
The staff members at Hampton by Hilton were incredibly friendly. The person at the reception even made sure we had a nice room and that was very much appreciated.
The room was great - it had everything you need and was fairly clean. The internet connection was fantastic in the room, and there was even a little working space on the ground floor if you need more.
Being quite close to the City airport, you can sometimes hear planes take off and land, but the noise was not too bad as the windows are fairly soundproof. It was also quite fun plane-watching!
As for the breakfast, the food was not fantastic, but it could just be that I was not hungry then. There was quite an impressive selection to choose from (including fresh waffles)!
Would come here again!

I must to say it was great experience, the staff of the hotel was very helpful and welcoming. We had help with booking the taxi and had a lovely chat with everyone. I would like to thank
Andra and Jennifer to welcome us to the hotel, Ramsey and Nurhan to look after us in the morning and Alisha perfect service !!!

I wanted a room on high floor and nice view and was given the perfect room. As it was my 50th I was given 2 complimentary drinks at the bar. And parking was extended so I can quickly go shopping after checking out. Food was great from hotel restaurant.

Great stay. Good sized room, spotless with a large double that was very comfortable. Quiet considering close proximity to London City Airport too and very well connected (nearby DLR) for travel in and out of London. Plenty of quite reasonably priced parking options in surrounding area too.
Company might think about asking staff to wear masks for their safety and safety of guests though. Most guests were wearing them, but staff weren't during my recent stay.

Breakfast not very good. No dinner as chef had Covid and no replacement! Room decent. Due to severe back problem and pain, tried to change booking from 2 nights to 1, but hotel refused and my stay was not the best. Staff very pleasant.

Having recently stayed in this hotel again (previously stayed pre-pandemic and had a positive experience), it really was a mixed bag. I have added photos which will contribute to my review of a corner room on the 4th floor, I would summarise below:
Main Positives:
1: Lovely staff at front desk/bar (I encountered Oliver the most but there was another man and three ladies that were equally very lovely and helpful - if it wasn't for them, my score would be lower).
2: Location (very convenient for London City Airport and ExCeL centre - I chose it primarily because of the location and previous experience I had). Royal Albert DLR very close by for travel and you can walk to/from LCY and ExCeL.
3: Breakfast included in room rate.
Main Negatives:
1: Cleanliness - for me this is very important, especially post pandemic. This was the main reason the score was 3/5. Pictures with this review indicate how dirty the remote control was, the previous occupant's long hair hanging off the shampoo dispenser and the pack of tissues on the chair by the desk. I reported these the next morning after my first night, housekeeping came and serviced my room but didn't pick up on any of these (I was staying three nights total). Attention to detail was lacking for housekeeping when a customer (and Hilton silver member) picks up on these but they don't, it doesn't encourage you to book again.
2: The TV by the bar and the radio concurrently are on, so depending on where you sit one drowns out the other.

Great hotel. Really nice size room, very clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff were great. Love the late check out time (midday). Breakfast had make your own waffles! I went for breakfast at around 0900 and it was very busy, they do warn you on the posters in the lifts etc. So if you don't like the crowds I'd go early. Only a few mins from DLR and right next to the airport. Would definitely stay again.

Although the hotel was clean as expected by the Hilton.. sadly the shower board was faulty and caused food. We were compensated with another room. Would love it if parking was free to residents. And if toothbrush and toothpaste was provided would have been perfect.

A nice, quiet hotel. Assume this is usually the case when there isn't something on at the ExCel. Ideally located around 5 mins walk from the DLR station and easy to find. Hotel staff super friendly and good sized rooms, which is an expectation for regular Hilton users.

Good location & very clean. Only real problem we had was the bed. We stayed for three nights and both of us have bad backs! Bed was just not comfy. Might be ok for some but unfortunately not for us. Other than that the staff were friendly & polite. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast is sufficient and the staff who work around the breakfast area are super efficient and work very hard. Hotel is about a ten minute at most walk from Prince Albert station on the DLR. Very easy to get into central London. If it wasn’t for the bed would of given a five! However just our personal preference ! Well done to all the staff who work there. You are professional, friendly and hard working.

Stayed here when going to an event at the O2. The hotel was in a good location. Parking near by, it was clean and modern. Staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were a very good size, modern and clean. The shower was excellent. The booking came with a buffet breakfast which was complimentary. They had waffle makers which were so delicious I'm still thinking about it haha.

Very nice hotel room. Very clean and well stocked out. Has a door that links to another room. You have to use your room card to access the hallway via a security door. You can also use a phone app the use the lift! Very good pricing and parking was only 15 pounds for 24 hours. In London that’s a bargain. Would book there again.
M. U.
Nice and spacious rooms at affordable prices. The customer service was good, the kitchen team members were so friendly but at some point, I was tired of the breakfast...there should be a change at least three time in a week. For example, try preparing a different type of eggs/ sauce or fruit juices.
P. M.
Clean and tidy, nice and quiet. Nice, friendly staff. Breakfast was good however I wouldnt order a main evening meal here again as the chips were frozen and I think cooked in a microwave - they were terrible. Caesar salad was ok - give the chicken a miss as it was tough as old boots.
A.
Great stay! Always accommodating and friendly when we arrive. Always our go to hotel when we go to London as it’s right next to the emirates cable carts & free breakfast!
I. M.
Very good price wise and very good service.
Very clean and comfortable beds, also have a gym and free breakfast.
J. L.
Excellent hotel within 10-15 minute walk of London ExCel. Very clean, soundproofed, and comfortable room, great staff, and relaxed restaurant with simple menu. Complimentary breakfast is also good. I will definitely stay here again.
S. S.
Beautiful, friendly, welcoming staff; clean premises; delicious breakfast; tasty, copious meals; parking... Need I say more..?
w.
Staff was very nice and breakfast selection was great. But….if you don’t check for vaccines, don’t require a mask, don’t require social distancing, people are having parties in the lobby and yet you say you’re not cleaning the rooms daily as a covid precaution??? It would seem like you’re really not cleaning the rooms so you don’t have to hire employees.
T. M.
If you’re booking on booking.com, they don’t do this place justice at all.
It’s so peaceful, clean and lives up to Hilton standards. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and the food is great too. Highly recommend it.
s. d.
A friendly, welcoming hotel, very clean and comfortable and a great breakfast too. Far superior to similarly priced hotels, and a good location for getting into the rest of London (close to DLR).
K. S.
Good hotel. Rooms were clean. Service was great and organised late checkout for us. Breakfast had a good selection. Overall felt much better than its 3* rating. Only negative was that parking is £15 per night for guests.
N. v. B.
Perfect location very close to DLR station and London City Airport . Clean rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast, silent rooms. Very happy to stay here .
M. G.
Chose this hotel as there was a deal for the bank Holiday, the staff were very friendly and nice but there were a couple who had no clue about a few things. For example in terms of the parking it is first come first serve bit you have to pay £15 we asked of we leave the car park and come back and there was no space what do we do? We were told "its very busy so unfortunately you would lose the space" we then said "but we have paid for parking for 2 days so what does that mean?" The answer was "yes that's true" there was no other answer apart from that🤦♀️ we then wanted a cocktail that was advertised at the bar you could get a glass or a jug, asked for this and was told they don't have the ingredients for it and was also told "they don't really do cocktails"🤦♀️(guys, it was advertised all over the bar!) Now I have to say the staff are all very friendly and nice but if these two staff are new there needs to be better training in customer service etiquette (this is not being said in a rude or condescending tone either!) Was not willing to change rooms even though it was a birthday weekend away, it would have been nice for them to try and be a bit more accommodating.
The breakfast I found to be lovely but please go before 8am as they do tell you in the lift as it got crazy busy as buffets are back in play, yay!!
The cleanliness of the hotel I found to be at a very high standard👏🏾👏🏾our room was lovely but I would have loved a higher floor as all we got to see was the car park for the hotel next door and dual carriageway. There is a gym in the hotel which is handy also one across the road and a Chinese restaurant opposite, a 15 minute walk to Emirates skyline to the 02, tesco metro and other shops also a 4 min walk to the DLR station which was great. Its in a good location and there are so many hotels all next door to each other.
W. D.
Decent hotel, staff are good and a good breakfast is included in the room rate. Room was clean and well-appointed though I do wish they'd provided more than two teabags - you have to request more at reception but we could never get near it. The breakfast area is too small for the amount of people trying to use it, particularly with COVID in play. The bed wasn't very big so we didn't sleep particularly well but the room was quiet and a comfortable temperature.
Location wise it's a bit far out but would be handy for London City Airport.
I can't see us rushing back but it was pleasant enough.
d. s.
Staff very friendly comfortable room not the one I wanted but ok.view from the room overlooking London
F. O.
A lovely place to stay. My 11-night stay was great. Easy check-in and checkout using the Hilton app. The room was clean and well arranged. House keep was strictly on request because of the covid situation. I loved my corner room.
The front desk staff always cheerful and willing to help. Thanks for the prompt when my deliveries came in.
The complimentary breakfast was really good. You always catch pleasant smile on the faces of the servers. Very decent dinner menu available. My best dinner was the tasty Bbq ribs.
The Gym is decent.
Overall it was a good stay. The only thing I wished I had was a mini refrigerator.
P. C.
Lovely hotel, cost is reasonable, staff very nice & great breakfast!
S. M.
A very nice hotel with a great location and nice views from my 7th floor Hotel room😊. The hotel was clean and staff very helpful. The breakfast which is included in the room price was very nice with plenty of options to choose from.
R.
Nice and clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast.
J. B.
Great hotel. The staff were super. Restaurant staff were helpful, friendly and went out of their way to make a great start to our day. They helped to make a break for the family fabulous. Thanks.
L. C.
It was situated close th the Docklands Light Railway which had an excellent service connecting it to the underground and bus services. It was clean and quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful.
C. A.
The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff were very polite. The breakfast was adequate hence only 4 stars
M. G.
We had a weekend. Good service. Amazing breakfast and the room very cosy and comfortable
D. K.
Nice comfortable hotel, friendly helpful staff. Breakfast good and plentiful.
U. C.
Really lovely hotel. Reasonable price. Had no issues. Quick links into London.
Towels. Shampoo etc. Showers are lovely too. Most rooms have a full length mirror. Good Disabled access. All in all. Really Good.
Breakfast ends too early. Nearly missed mine so make sure you ask!!! Lol
R.
A nice room and friendly staff.
Had a minor problem trying to find a spoon for cereal at breakfast, but that was quickly resolved
r. c.
Business stay for 2 days. Central to planned meetings. Lovely room and great breakfast
L. J.
Great location for London Excel events, extremely clean, staff friendly and helpful, spacious rooms - highly recommend
A. S.
Truly lovely stay. The staff here so pleasant, plenty of breakfast on offer, piping hot and served with a smile, ignore the whinging miserable I can never be pleased come what may brigade on this. The staff are a credit here. Shout out for Russell at front desk. Well done. And ask for your room to be serviced daily, and it'll be done. But otherwise it ain't gonna be done!!

I stayed at the Hilton Docklands recently as I had some work around area. I live in London and I wanted to stay central. I can't fault this hotel and my experience was truly beyond what we expected. FIrst off, the location is excellent! You are located literally across Thames River and if available, you can request a room with views onto River. If you love walking, you can walk to O2 Arena and take the Cable Car. It would take you less than 20 minutes I believe. You are also a few minutes away from Excel.
I stay in a 1 Room Deluxe (I think) The room was clean and spacious. bedroom had a big and comfortable bed.
Although the hotel's facilities were closed, it is a very big and spacious hotel, and once things reopen, it is definitely a place I would like to come back to for dinner and drinks.
We had a full english breakfast included in our rate, which was amazing! You can request breakfast until 09:30am, which was very convenient for us and unexpected, since usually breakfast ends at 09:00am in other hotels we've been in.
The staff were very professional and the service was superb. I would like to especially compliment Marta and Andra from at the front desk, who took care of us and ensured all of our needs were met. They went above and beyond for us and made our stay comfortable.
S. N.
Contactless check in/out with the digital key on your phone, is perfect especially during this pandemic. Room very clean and comfortable. Easily accessible by car or public transport. One of the few hotels still providing (hot) breakfast at this time but of course you have to take it back to your room to eat. I didn't interact much with staff as there was no need but when I did, they were polite and professional.
M. R.
Spent a total of 15 Days here (due to my flat being renovated). Service is Excellent. Staff are very Polite and Helpful. A 3* Hotel with a 5* Customer Service....you can't ask for anything more <3
.
The only negative I can think of at current is the lack of Vegetarian Breakfast options, but that could be because of Covid. But nevertheless, I'm not gonna let that dampen my mood for the rest of my accommodation here.
.
The staff were very friendly and made me feel at home.
.
Loved my stay here. Good way to see off a weird 2020 :)
J. G.
Fabulous staff and top class hotel room. Great location
Y. A.
Very nice and quiet. The accommodation is spacious and very clean.
You can order food from the restaurant as well. Will stay there again.
A. I.
The staff are very welcoming. Environment is clean and tidy. Rooms were clean and I couldn't have asked for more. Complimentary breakfast was excellent. Kids were happy. Thank you guys.
C. A.
Lovely place to stay! Brilliant for price and close to london center. Breakfast was great too!
Down fall staff were ride and not welcoming. Will not be returning unfortunately. I really wanted it to be a regular hotel stay for me
M. A.
Very good experience. Would highly recommend with good transport links. Restraunt were not far. Breakfast was included and the rooms were well equipped and the bathroom was accessible.
I. M. 4.
Very good, clean and comfortable with a great service.
G. B.
Superb. Loved it. Great staff. Easy parking. Easy to find. Good check in. Free upgrade. Comfy bed and free breakfast.
S. R.
Great place to stay - just watch out for the digital key, could not get the lights to come on with it!
t.
Only stayed one night on our last night in London. Arrived late and checked out at 12. Nice and tidy room cannot complain one bit. Parking also £10 which isn't too bad. What was weird was it got to 12.02pm and someone knocked on our door asking if we were checking out, obviously we are as the check out time is 12pm. A few minutes over shouldn't warrant a silly knock to almost rush us out.
C. B.
The staff are so friendly the breakfast is brilliant as is the evening meal if you have it too, but the bed is a little to hard for me
s. g.
Onsite parking. We was on the seventh floor .. fantastic views.very quiet. Breakfast was excellent.. electric charge for cars..all staff friendly...
A. M.
Decent, well kept, free breakfast, decent bar, 3 minutes walk from DLR station but a bit far from things to do like shopping or restaurants.
A. A.
The room was beautiful, excellent staffs, the staffs were friendly, I will definitely visit again, I will highly recommend this hotel …
C. B.
Nice room, friendly bar man, good breakfast..gutted I didnt notice the waffle maker lol, £15 to park 😒
A. R.
A lovely place to stay ! I've stayed there for 10 days because I was quarantine coming back from France and I've spent a really nice time. Members of the staff are friendly, the hôtel is clean with good accommodations, great location : it simply worth it !
B. B.
Excellent value.
Facilities are basic but the hotel itself is clean and comfortable. Rooms look freshly done up with a modern, clean look and there was.not so much as a single spore of mildew in the bathroom.
Room prices include breakfast buffet which although is in no danger of winning any Michelin stars, is of a quality I'd say most people would be happy to pay money for.
Staff were fantastic and I can thoroughly recommend this hotel for a stopover.
M. W.
Great hotel, good brekkie. Only a few minutes walk to the DLR.
A. I.
Excellent service and Good quality Rooms and reception staffs n mangers are very friendly and helpful Professional
t.
Great hotel. Excellent breakfast. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to London.
Y. L.
I've stayed in Hampton across globe and it's a great value for your money brand!
M. D.
Great place to stay. Tidy and nice rooms, great people. 24/7 snack bar with pizza, pasta, fries , beer etc. A lot of outlets in the room, very close to Excel ~10min by foot. Perfect breakfast. I was really happy to be in this hotel.
G.
What a great hotel paid £55 for 1 night 2 adults which included full cooked breakfast and continental breakfast (i.e) croissant fruit yogurt toasts tea coffee juices couldn't fault the place
E. V.
I don’t usually leave reviews but I was very pleased by Hampton by Hilton Leeds.
Even though it’s city centre based I thought I would have trouble with the noise but it was very quiet, I was on 3rd floor and didn’t hear a thing. I had the best sleep I’ve had in years!
Everything seemed to be working fine so nothing to say about that. The room I stayed in was clean so I was happy about that.
The breakfast was great, I enjoyed using the waffle maker! Made some great waffles for the family.
The staff were so friendly and welcoming.
I will definitely choose Hampton by Hilton Leeds again!
A. P.
The hotel was great. The rooms weren't big, but they had a very comfy bed. The breakfast was good and the receptionist was nice. There is no mini bar in the room. If you want to buy something you have to do it at the reception.
K. A.
Staff were lovely, check in was straight forward and very quickly carried out despite Co-Vid precautions. Room was nice, good size and nice bathroom and shower. Biggest TV I have seen in a Hotel room. Only reason I give 4 and not 5 - I was charged within my rate for breakfast and although understand co-vid measures need to be in place, a cooked breakfast would still have been possible.
E. S. N. H.
I stayed here a few months back and loved it.
The breakfast was really tasty and the rooms were perfectly clean and had a kettle in them as well. Also being a few minutes from the DLR station ,Royal Albert, was really handy. If you want to stay in this area of London or visit the centre, then you can’t go wrong with this hotel.😁
H. R.
The staff here really make the place a great place to stay! They are polite, welcoming and professional. They go out of their way to ensure you have a good day!
B. E.
I totally enjoyed my 3 nights stay there. Lovely breakfast, calm scenery, friendly staff, memorable experience overall.
m. h.
Nice hotel in a convenient location. Clean, good sized rooms, has a bar and you can order food 24/7 (they don't have room service). Breakfast has a wide selection of foods and wasn't too busy around 7-8am.
The airport can be a bit noisy if you want to have a lie-in as flights start pretty early and finish around 10pm.
Need to order ahead for parking as it seems to get booked up. I parked at the Travel Lodge two doors down as they have a pay and display car park (£15per 24hrs).
I.
Good to see hotel following Covid guidelines. You are encouraged to scan NHS track and trace QR code upon check in. Nothing is too much for the staff. Breakfast at the moment is pre packed and you collect from downstairs. There is an Asda about 1 mile away from the hotel should you need amenities. I was in room 401 (great room). Food is available at the hotel delivered to your room. All in all a pleasant stay. Thanks to all the staff 👌🏻
N. P.
Very good value and well designed. Comfortable and spotless. Still smelled new. Minus was couldn't open window and showers only. No baths.
Not easy to get to the airport from.
Unlimited free breakfast but very little hot stuff for vegetarians and even less for vegans.
Nice bar comfortable seating and very good value. Staff efficient and no problem with extra tea and coffee for the room.
S. O.
Breakfast was excellent as well as the ladies who worked there. They definitely went the extra mile to make sure we felt welcomed and always smiled even in the early mornings! However, the receptionists could learn a few things about hospitality, especially Francesca, who was purposefully speaking in a foreign language to her coworker in front of us so that we couldn't understand, which I thought was very rude... also some of the receptionists seem to be new/untrained and look miserable to work there... Also we were only given one towel for two people?? Overall it was a a nice stay though!
J. S.
This is my hotel of choice when I am working in London. The staff here are simply brilliant and the hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. Being very close to the DLR means that it is easy to get to almost anywhere in East or Central London.
M. R.
Good hotel, just a bit far out
P. H.
This is a great quality budget hotel. Very nice and compact gym, can get full whe busy. Breakfast was nice, some gluten free options but no separate toaster so beware.if you have an allergy. Very nice staff and very efficient. Really comfortable rooms, no hair dryer as far as I could tell. No TV casting which is a shame. Very quiet, great soft closing doors. No room service but you can order and collect No noise from road or city airport. About ten minute walk to Excell entrance. Very good choice if you're going to that area.
R. C.
Comfortable and clean rooms, staff are amazing and always happy to help. Bar and restaurant are spacious and modern.
A. H.
Love it. Nice and clean room. Spacious even for 3 persons in double room with sofa bed. Nice staff. Excellent breakfast. We made ourselves some fresh waffle. Good! Be
J. C.
Stayed at this hotel for two night's recently. I can honestly say, it was excellent, the room was spotless, the double bed was extremely comfortable, the breakfast was very good, and plentiful , the bar area is nice and drinks reasonable priced. The hotel staff, very friendly and helpful. The D.L.R. was a short walk that connects to tube into central London. I would defiantly return to this hotel without any hesitation.
Thank you.
R. M.
This hotel deserve a 4 stars , beautiful and clean the only issue is the breakfast can have more variety
G. G.
It is a new build hotel, so the rooms are very modern and to a high standard. Well kept and clean. Very spacious too. The hotel is a focus brand, so limited with restaurants and That, has a gym and nice bar with reasonable menu. Staff were all lovely and friendly.
A. P.
A very decent place to stay, a little bit on the expensive side, though. Location is not perfect, because of the airport half a kilometre away, but you hardly hear the planes in the hotel, it's quiet. Breakfast is quite dull, very few vegs. It's also far from shops or bars - if it's important for you, take a hotel on the west side of ExCel. Everything else is perfect.
E. F.
I stayed at this hotel last night, really lovely staff very friendly and helpful. Great service!
Well worth the £80 per night with free breakfast and free wifi.
Fresh clean hotel, only been open 6 weeks.
Car parking is so expensive £15 per night!!
Room was very clean, shower could be more powerful but overall it was a fantastic evening.
Not much in the surroundings other than building work. But you don't hear it nor the trains.
R. H.
Lovely big clean room, comfy bed and helpful staff. Breakfast included. Also had a very nice meal in the evening. Minutes away from the Excel. I don't have anything bad to say about it
S. O.
It was a great room that I had. The bed was so comfortable. The daily breakfasts they gave us were nice as well. Overall the place was great l.
U. D.
Pros:
Clean rooms, near to the DLR, and breakfast was ‘ok’. The house keeping was great, changed towels everyday. Something you need when you’re toiling in the tubes all day. Decent size rooms.
Cons:
They implement buffet rules in a very authoritarian way.
Scant amenities and only available from the front desk. When we asked for some at the front desk staff looked at us like we had asked for their first born.
Gets three stars only for the good basics.
b.
Super clean,
Comfortable, quiet and good connection to DLR to get to town.
Breakfast was gross. It had variety but we found it mostly inedible.... American standard for hotel breakfast, not European.
Staff was polite and helpful.
M. B.
One of the many hotels close to Excel, London Docks and London City Airport. The hotel is within walking distance from the Excel and Prince Regent DLR Train Stations.
We stayed here for 2 nights during our visit to Excel for a conference. We arrived late and ordered from their 24/7 menu and the food was good.
We had a room with the dock view. The room was very practical and comfortable. The all-you-can eat breakfast was included in our stay and the menu is pretty diverse with some really good choices. The staff was cordial and prompt.
Overall, a very pleasant stay and a good Hilton Property!
D. E.
Decent place for a 6-day stay. Clean and functional. Beds slightly on the smaller size. Hotel tends of get overcrowded at times, especially during busy convention times and at breakfast. Breakfast can be rated as a 5 out of 10. Great little business section though with big conference table, printer access, etc.
C. P.
Friendly staff, amazing buffet style breakfast with everything from lattes to fresh waffles, cozy room with decent amount of space, comfy beds. Gorgeous bathroom and shower. Close to train, awesome Chinese food place right next door. View from room window was spectacular from just the fourth floor. Nice bar in lobby and plenty of sitting space in lobby for large groups
N. C.
Pros - Quite new hotel, good size room, clean, great breakfast included in room price. Waffles amongst other good selection of breakfast items, bacon actually crispy, sausages not over done. Can't hear airplane or airport noises. Air con in rooms. Hot shower. Room cleaned everyday of stay if you wish.
Cons - Not child friendly rooms nor bathroom. Sink to high and far away for child washing hands/brushing teeth. Sofa bed for child has an almost raised metal frame which means not great if you have a fidgety child as likely to hit themselves or even trap limbs. Weird wardrobe/door for bathroom. Slides which I get saves space but means that if you are in the wardrobe at same time someone else enters or leaves bathroom you suddenly end up with door coming towards you. Not entirely practical. If you request no new towels, whole room doesn't get done including tea, coffee replenishment, bins etc, again not practical. Hard to keep towels longer than one day as limited spaces to hang/dry them unfortunately.
d.
Overall this is a very pleasant and friendly hotel.
City access via the DLR is easy and quick.
G. W.
Amazing front of house staff, impeccably clean rooms and building in general. Takeaway food service was also excellent so you can eat in your room. 100% will return !!
J.
Good sized, comfortable rooms, unfortunately the room was rather poorly cleaned, dust, hair and not hoovered. Decent complimentary breakfast, restaurant staff friendly and helpful, reception staff lacking in any semblance of personality or warmth. Adequate overall but could be so much better. Good location for Excel and the O2 arena, DLR Station a one minute walk away.
A. S.
Well furnished, clean spacious room. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Room had everything which you would need including an iron/ironing board. Only downside was I wasn't a big fan of the breakfast can't quite put my finger on why but the bacon/sausage just seemed a bit odd. Also if needing to order food on an evening the options are quite limited, but a decent selection of drinks available.
A. H.
Nice hotel with everything you need. Breakfast was excellent and included a waffle machine...rooms were clean and exactly as expected. Perfect hotel for London airport but a little out of the way from anywhere.
All staff were lovely and polite and also very friendly without being over the top
I. K.
A very well maintained hotel with nice staff. A small gym available on the 1st floor. The hotel is very modern and clean. WiFi is amazing and rooms are very quiet despite the nearby airport. The only thing missing was a bathtub, but I was happy anyway.
G. “.
Rooms extremely clean and comfortable. Black out curtains and very little noise ensured a good sleep. The choice of food and quality is good. Only improvements would be that the breakfast area is a tight squeeze to negotiate. There are a lot of people getting breakfast at the same time so an open space would be better rather than a corridor.
C. S.
Lovely stay! Main bed was very comfy, sofa bed was rock solid!!! Food was okay at best, very over priced for basic food.
Price for room was fab and included breakfast which is AMAZING! Easy, quick access to central london!
H. V. D. T.
Good value quality hotel. Quite a distance from the center of London but a good balance between price and commute. Great luxury extras, like large TVs, beautiful soaps. More options for vegan guests would be appreciated

Love the Hampton chains. You wouldn't think too much of the hotel from the outside, but as soon as you walk in, you feel that Hampton atmosphere. Staff are friendly and helpful. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the rooms are beautiful. Only thing to make it better would be if the location was a bit more central or if there's were things to do within walking distance
R. W.
Really enjoyed my stay with a great on site restaurant with enough variety that you didn't need to leave when when staying a few days for a nearby event. Easy walking distance to ExCel London and a pretty on the walk if you take the river path. Breakfast was nothing to write home about but provided more options than the usual full British breakfast.
J. W.
The staff was friendly. The area was close to the core city but just off the tourist maps of London. The facilities were nice and clean. Priced high but fair due to pride parade increasing the rates. The free breakfast was great.
M. K.
Staff very helpful and polite, the gym well equipped, parking big, tube a stroll away, breakfast varied and tasty.
M. C.
I stayed here last night, very kind, very professional. I cut my finger a bit somehow before booking in, asked the barman if i could have a tissue or 2. 20 mins later when he brought me my food, he also brought me a plaster, what a very thoughtful chap he was. Rooms are very spacious also.
A. “.
Nice hotel, pretty rooms with good beds. Very clean. Good shower, great hairdryer! Safe.
Great breakfast! next to airport but did'nt hear a thing in the room. From hotel to london city 45-50 minutes public transport. Next to dlr station royal Albert then switch to underground.
J.
Amazing experience - hotel was really comfy and the rooms were brand new and nice. Such a nice, modern hotel and it really impressed me. Front-of-the-house staff could've been a bit more professional. Waffle maker in the breakfast part was a blast!
I. O.
Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast served fresh each morning. I enjoyed waking up and heading straight to the gym. This hotel is situated opposite London City airport with easy access to the DLR
T. D.
Neat room, friendly staff, beautiful location with views overlooking London city and the O2 in Greenwich. My only disappointment was the lack of a fridge...
C. S.
Lovely clean and spacious rooms. Great walk in shower. Only downside is that the windows don't open and it can get a bit stifling. Fab choice for breakfast, from fresh fruit through to the cooked breakfast. Friendly staff too, world decongestant stay again. Great value for money with a short walk to the DLR station and directly opposite London City Airport. Slight noise from the planes but the windows are probably triple glazed which helped. Great choice, why spend at least another £150 on staying in a hotels in Southwark, which only do continental breakfast? The transport system in London is amazing and an oyster card saves money too 😊
S. S.
Although 20 minutes out of the city, excellent frequent and inexpensive DLR service within walking distance of The Hampton and near London City Airport. A very modern hotel with spacious rooms providing every facility to a high standard. An excellent selection of hot and/or cold buffet breakfast is included in what is very good value for the price charged per room compared to other similar hotels. All the staff are very professional and polite so have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and intend to revisit at a future date.
E. C.
I attended a conference here last Monday to receive training for a teacher INSET day. I have to say I was very impressed. The food was good, the staff were polite, the services were exceptional and the hotel itself proved worthy of its 4 stars.
I've been using Hilton hotels for years ,mostly in the US when on holiday staying mostly in Hyatt Regency/Hyatt House, and I have to say, they never fail to surprise me. They surpass all expectations and cater to my every need. When a hotel can impress me on both a business and personal level, then it gets 5 star Google rating from me.
e. l.
Absolutely lovely 😍 enjoyed it defo coming back 😀
J. L.
Understandably being a Hilton on the doorstep of LCA it's a little pricey for what it's trying to be. Service at the bar/reception could do better as at times it was not performing at all. Rooms were good , clean and spacious. Breakfast was good although mushrooms and tomatoes on the buffet would have been nice.
D. J.
Good quality like you'd expect from a Hilton. Unfortunately I didn't have time to sample the facilities, or even breakfast. My room was lovely, very spacious and a great mattress. Plug sockets on either side of the bed aswell which is a must. The bathroom was really nice too, very spacious. The one negative I would say is that the front doors were locked when we arrived (after midnight admittedly) and even after pressing the buzzer and talking to someone, we still had to wait around for someone to come and physically open the automatic doors. Once we were inside their "system was busy" so we had to wait over 10 minutes to check in. I guess that's due to it being so late though. Very pleasant stay
S.
My corner room had a really nice view on both the airport and the city. The breakfast was nice and the room was clean. I will def. come back here.
J. L.
We stayed in the Hampton by Hilton London Docklands for two nights together with our 16 months old daughter and my parents.
The staff was very welcoming, very friendly, yet professional. My partner, daughter and I had the slightly bigger room and it was just perfect. Especially the shower! OMG! That shower. Even my dad's wife said she loved the shower and if possible she would take it home with her :D Even though our rooms where located towards the DLR station and the London City Airport we did not hear a thing - thanks to the triple glacing of the windows. The only "negative" (if you even can call it that way) would be that the hotel operates only on air conditioning. Of course you can turn it off, but if you are a little sensitive with that (like my dad's wife) just keep a little bit of water next to your bed.
The housekeeping had even set up a bed for our daughter, which we did not need, as our toddler sleeps with us in our bed :)
Breakfast: You actually can make you own waffles. You don't need to know more. Do you? But seriously, there is enough for everyone. A typical European breakfast including yoghurt and fruits with bread or if you like a traditional British breakfast. There's nothing the buffet do not offer. The staff gladly helps you. And we also did not need to worry about where our daughter should sit, as they provided us with a high chair.
On our first night in London we stayed in the hotel and had our tea there. The portions are big enough and I even shared my daughters meal with her.
Verdict: If you are looking for a family friendly hotel and don't mind a little ride on the train then this is the one to go for.
G.
Stylish tasteful decor. Breakfast buffet amazing! Huge variety including fresh porridge and fresh breakfast waffles being made right there. Spacious hotel. Stylish and comfortable lobby and breakfast area.
3 star because:
Reception desk staff were moody that too on a morning. No one wants to see a slapped baby bottom face first thing, especially when you're away from home for a weekend break. Something I've experienced before at the Hilton.
I asked for my room to be cleaned at 9:30 and went out to allow for this. Reception desk staff said it was fine. Came back to find room still hadn't be cleaned 45 minutes later than time requested. This has happened before when I've stayed at Hilton. They don't clean the room despite this not being an issue when requesting it. Again, just as in the Hilton, staff started telling me what time housekeeping work. This is not my problem. I don't care for this information.
Also, again as experienced at Hilton, the bed isn't all that comfortable at all. They have opted for style over comfort with the bed, and so the mattress slips off the base which was annoying.
Also, tv had HDMI function. When I called reception, was told tv is locked to freeview, and HDMI cable will not work.
That aside, queen room was lovely, spacious and new looking as was the bathroom.
The docklands are across the road which made for very nice morning walks and fresh air.
Ironing board and very powerful hairdryer in room.
I wish they'd brush up on the detail of a customer experience, because these small things would make this hotel chain a much more pleasant experience.
Disappointed. Won't be staying at Hilton again unfortunately.
D. v. A.
This is a fairly new hotel. The rooms are nice and modern with showers in the bathrooms. It is however located a distance from all major attractions or city centre. Very well located for a stay over if you travel in or out from London City Airport.
S. D.
Brilliant stay, staff so helpful and friendly, team serving breakfast credit to the hotel
D. F.
We had a lovely 3 nights stay. The breakfast were nice and yummy, good variety. Very quiet and modern. Would recommend to any family or friends. Good location too.
N. B.
Clean, modern hotel very close to DLR station and City Airport. Comfortable room with working air conditioning. Excellent range of breakfast options included next morning. Similar proposition to a Holiday Inn Express. Dinner options in the area rather limited.
T. O.
Stayed here for 2 weeks and they wouldn’t microwave my food for me neither will they make one available in the room. Making it difficult for one to stay for a long period of time. If you want to eat the same hotel food for longer time, this is the best place for you
E. B.
The location is great if your visiting the Excel. Mattress was hard and had to get the housekeeper up on arrival as there were hairs in the bathroom and bed. I think 4 stars is a bit generous but the room and hotel were modern and upto date
C. O.
Great hotel, 7 floors, nice and neat breakfast, gym access I think 24hrs with your keycard, rooms are spacious, mattresses comfy, large tv in rooms, no fridge though, and there's a lot of room in the shower. Unfortunately something wrong with the pressure hence no hot water. Otherwise very nice and welcoming receptionists.
S. S.
Staff friendly and efficient.i was impressed with the toiletries all in a pump style container that refills hence saving on.plastic. a good selection for breakfast but unfortunately the cooked food was cold and also served onto cold plates which didnt help.
A. P.
Cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Great value, near a DLR station (2 mins walk) and rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Great views from the 6th floor. The area can be a bit, shall we say, dodgy at night but the area is improving. Hopefully a few more hotels and bars will help move the cars with the blacked out windows. Can't fault the hotel though. Breakfast was great too, plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and efficient.
S. M.
I stayed here for a long weekend break back in May and thought it was such a lovely hotel! The free breakfast buffet is insane! The front of house staff were friendly and accommodating.
R. T.
Rooms are clean and comfortable. Stuff is helpful. Breakfast is good, coffee could be better :-(. Generally a good experience and highly recommended if a 25minute commute to central London is not an issue.
b. k.
Fantastic hotel. Lovely rooms with comfortable beds and great bathroom. Excellent value with breakfast included. Great selection of hot and cold items. Lovely bacon! Highly recommended hotel!
F. O. O.
First time at this new Hilton group hotel. I'm impressed. It's only three months old (at date of my visit) but looks and feels great. Not sure about the style of the showers though. Made up by the free breakfast!!
A. v. d. P.
Room nicely decorated, clean, plenty of sockets etc. Reception friendly. Breakfast ok but a little uninspiring (would have liked larger variety of fruit, and some kind of bread to put the cold cuts / cheese on that isn't the plain sliced bread intended for the toaster)
M. H.
Clean modern hotel with a very good standard of hot breakfast that was included in the room price. All staff that we spoke to were friendly and polite particularly at breakfast. Short walk to DLR station or on site parking for £15 per day. Would go back if need to stay in the area again.
J. P.
Lavish rooms and facilities at a very friendly price point. Staff always smiling and helpful. Breakfast buffet (included) was varied and delicious. Location of the hotel, although out of the way of attractions, is very near to the Royal Albert subway station. Perfect location for anyone going to the Excel centre, London airport or o2 arena.
M. P.
Great hotel for 1 or 2 nights only. Friendly staff. Good housekeeping. Classy rooms. Great wifi. Limited menu options for lunch and dinner. No room service.
L. C.
The hotel is located on a newly developed area just opposite city airport, on the other side of the water. Around it there are 3 other hotels all recently built. A 3 minute walk from DLR Royal Albert, it's convenient enough for commuting into central London and not far from Stratford and the Olympic park.
The hotel itself is very similar to other Hampton brand with a modern look and furnishes. The rooms are ok in size and you get a modern shower on a reasonable bathroom. The bed is comfortable and it offers a large tv, kettle, safe, ironing board and hair dryer.
It also offers free Wi-Fi and breakfast to all guests.
The reception staff is friendly and helpful.
For my stay I paid a reasonable rate (for London) and can see the attraction of staying a bit far out if you are attending events around the ExCel or other East London venues.
One note on the quality of breakfast items as I see it as an area that could be improved. Otherwise a great hotel for business trips or tourism if you don't mind an extra 30 mins of travelling.
P. S.
If you are looking for a comfortable stay in central London at a good price including an all you can eat breakfast, with spotless clean rooms and facilities, then this is the place to stay
It may be a little off of the beaten path, bit an extra 10 minutes DLR journey is worth it.
If you like planes then you can watch them from the hotel take off and land at city airport, bit don't worry, it is not a noisy place to stay
The only down side is that there are no local shops (that I have seen) where you can get a few supplies, but this is not to do with the hotel, just the location
C. E.
Stayed there for business and found it to be very efficient, practical, and comfortable. The room was nice and clean and well appointed. The informal lobby / bar area is nice for a conversation and a drink.
S. A. A.
The hotel was OK. Not too fancy but quite neat with a lot of other hotels nearby
C. C.
Good..limited food selection and having to buy a dessert with a chicken wrap is wasteful if you are not that hungry. Other than that the rooms and bathrooms are excellent and this hotel is fantastic value for money.
M. C.
Beautiful hotel. Very nice staff especially at the front desk. The best Hampton hotel we've ever stayed at. We ordered pizza, soup and a sandwich. And they all tasted good!!
S. H.
Above average functional hotel chain. No room service, but has a gym, free hot buffet breakfast with bean to cup coffee, pastries, cereals,English breakfast juices etc. This hotel is new, clean and smart, and a few mins from Royal Albert SALE station. We stayed there to visit the Brits at the O2 and an easy journey from there. My room had a good size double bed,and another double sofa bed plus a very large LG TV. It overlooked London city airport, and there was some noise from planes taking off, but you get used to it very quickly. Plus the planes don't use the airport thru the night.
L. H.
I thought this hotel was good, clean with new modern rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was ample, although they cleared everything away promptly. So if you came for breakfast at last minute there is not much food left.
Only slight negative, there is absolutely nothing in the immediate vicinity of the hotel apart from a few more hotels. So you have to take the Docklands Light Railway (DLR)/tube everytime you go somewhere. It is only a couple of minute walk to the DLR station.
N.
Lovely hotel.
Staff are helpful.
F. N.
Immaculate hotel and rooms. Friendly welcoming staff, nothing was too much bother. Nice selection of breakfast and drinks. I shall definitely stay here again. Overall great experience.
G. T.
Room very good for the money and clean, although I have never been to a hotel which would not cook a poached egg for breakfast. Apparently, its powered scrambled eggs (or leave it!).
R. K.
Stayed int the hotel for one night, the location was convenient for both the airport and public transport. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and the breakfast menu offered a good choice of hot and cold options.
J. D.
Breakfast is stellar. There is something for everyone. They have a good sale room of beer for a late night cap. I would highly recommend this hotel and it's a short walk to the DLR line.
G. D.
Modern clean rooms with very helpful and friendly staff!
p.
Really nice inside. Outside of the building is a bit undesirable. The rooms were clean and well presented. The beds for me were too hard but that's my personal preference.
a. v.
Hotel is clean and good as all other chain of Hilton hotels. Docklands area is a little far from old London. It takes almost an hour to reach to main city. So location outer but hotel is good.
c. s.
Fabulous and friendly. This hotel was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay here again.
N. T.
The room and bed was so comfortable, but location is little far from the city center, but you can walk to Royal Albert DLR(5mins) and head to Canning Town change to Jubilee line and get into the city center by 40 mins all together. Breakfast was good
S. B.
Very clean and tidy place and well presented and polite members of staff. Good location for the O2 with DLR train service about 4 minutes walk up the road. Great night's sleep with a good selection of breakfasts in the morning. Oh and free Wifi
M. C.
Close to DLR and doesn't take that long to get into central London. Limited parking spaces available. Breakfast was really good (usual offerings - eggs, beans, bacon, sausages.... Plus continental selection and a waffle iron!) Staff are really friendly and helpful, accommodating for requests.
C. C.
Lovely hotel where you get a warm reception. Nicely priced too for some Hilton quality! 😉
Great hotel, great location, great staff! What more can I say?
With the Hilton quality of service guaranteed! Served by 2 DLR stations - Prince Regent and Royal Albert. Bus stop also at Prince Regent. So good connection to public transport
D. E.
Was a pleasure to visit and stay in this hotel. Extremely friendly and helpfull staff, good prices both in room price and food offered at dinner time. Breackfast was also really nice. Will stay again next time i come arround.
J. M.
Thr hotel is situated behind the Premier Inn on the Excel site. On time of posting there are construction works directly opposite and can get quite noisy at times. Staff were pleasant on arrival, and our allocated room well presented and mostly clean (a wristband was found on the floor probably from a previous guest). On the second night we stayed the handle of the kettle broke whilst we were pouring hot drinks. A replacement was brought swiftly up. Later that evening an alarm went off in the wall of our room and wouldn't stop. This was around 10pm. We went down to reception to advise and we're told that maintenance weren't in until the morning but they could move us to a different room. However, we had to move everything out of our old room before we would be given the key cards to our new room. So it was a case of panic packing and this didn't help my Autism and brought on a meltdown. For the next two days Housekeeping ignored us in our new room as they hadn't been advised it was in use. In fact on the Sunday afternoon Housekeeping lied and stated the room had been cleaned when clearly it hadn't. Later that evening on return, new sheets and towels had been provided but there was still dirty crockery. I went to the bar to get some ice cream as it stated that it was available on top of deserts so most places do sell it by itself even though it's not mentioned. The lady at the bar said she couldn't sell me any as there wasn't a button on the till. I had to buy a children's meal in order to get ice cream but a suggestion from her originally was "have you got a room mate? Buy them the desert and scrape off the ice cream for yourself". When I asked for a tray so I could take 3 items up to my room so I'm not putting things on floors when trying to open doors, she stated "we don't have trays, because Everyone would want one", but we received a new kettle on a tray delivered to our room the other day when ours broke so there are some trays somewhere. She then 'found one' that was on the bar. The views are great especially on upper floors (we were on floor six and really fantastic views) and even given its locality (adjacent to the dlr and across the docks from airport) you hardly notice the noise. With a bit more staff training this hotel could be fantastic.
A. C.
Decent rooms and we'll insulated. Not much to do or see in the area, only a Chinese restaurant. No room service if you are crashing in late after work but pizzas available at the hotel restaurant.
S. L.
An hotel just outside of London: I don't think you can get any better in this price category. The breakfast was okay, the rooms were good and overall the experience was great. Haven't had any issues! Recommendable!
A. B.
Ideal location 5 mins walk from London Dockland Light Railway and about 20mins walk to City Airport. Location is very quite with nice views of the docklands. Not much restaurants in the area apart from standard hotel ones. Hotel does nice breakfast but evening meals very limited. Rooms good comfortable size
R. S.
Stayed here last year when I went to comic con, and really thinking about booking again this year. The rooms were lovely, bed was really comfortable, really friendly and helpful staff, and just overall really enjoyable stay.
S. H.
This is quite a new hotel in a relatively quiet area. It's in a good spot, which is convenient for heading out on the DLR to various places in East London such as Stratford and Canary Wharf. The free breakfast is great. Recommended.
l. s.
The staff at this hotel are one of the best teams in any hotel I have stayed in.
Very helpful and polite. Chatted to them at reception and bar and gave me directions to places I wanted to go sightseeing
Rooms are just right with comfy beds
Aircon which is great this time of year
Cant fault it at all
S. B.
Great welcome. Clean and well appointed rooms. Shower is great. 24 hr bar and snack point works well. Definitely wo use again.
M. L. (.
Great hotel but......... ONE elevator meant waiting going up and down. Breakfast was great and staff friendly. Though very close to the airport you heard nothing. AND... the airco worked well and was silent.
S. L.
Really nice, the staff are nice and helpful. Not to far to ICC , around 5-8 mins walk and 3-4 mins walk to Royal Albert DLR - 53 mins or less to Paddington Station. If you are a plane lover, you can view plane land and take-off. Local London airport
s. G.
This is a really lovely hotel. Room was immaculate. Thought is was going to be noisy as it is close to the airport but I hardly heard anything. Breakfast was very nice, a good choice.
M. D.
Great customer service and amenities. Very clean and updated facilities. The breakfast was the same everyday, but there were lots of options and it tasted good.
M. W.
Great hotel comfy beds, reasonable sized rooms, excellent facilities family friendly and food choice and quality is impeccable worth the money and then some. Best place I've stayed in would highly recommend it to anyone
J. E.
Everything went without any problems, staff , food, and comfort of rooms was first class.
P. W.
Good buffet breakfast. Quality of cooked food could be a little better but overall a good place to stay. Been here a few times now as I can park the car in the grounds. Perfect.
M. C.
Expensive for me but am aware this may not always be the case!
However was clean with friendly and accomodating staff.
Breakfast set up spot on.... however night time meal if not accompanied by a couple Budweiser's would have irked me as in quality not on for the price that was charged!
To sum up expensive and uneventful but served it's purpose.
O. O.
Affordable, accessible, awesome service and fantastic rooms
E. M.
A bit out of the way but nearby DLR makes going to Central London easy. Everything is brand new and rooms are spacious for London standards! Can't beat the free hot buffet breakfast too.
S. D. S.
Very welcoming staff, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had everything one can expect, the area was specious and the children could serve themselves safely. Definitely recommend
J.
Great rooms, good breakfast, friendly and fantastic staff. Location not the best in relation to the Excel centre but not the worst either. Can't fault the hotel itself though.
M. K.
Hello, I am a Hilton Honors Silver member, I used to be Diamond. I stay in Hilton locations in Canada and USA. I am planning to stay in this location first time early next year and wondering if you can provide some feedback about size of room, can 2
Adults and 2 kids under 10 yrs stay in a room?
Thanks in advance,
J. F.
Nice hotel but too far away from the centre.
G. E. H.
A really nice hotel. Massive rooms. Extremely comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Definitely a place to stay when visiting the Excel
E. R.
Very clean nice hotel woth brilliant staff and great breakfast. Enjoyed our stay. And we will be back
V. T.
Great little hotel, rooms were of a high standard, view of planes landing with none of the noise and one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had
V. I. C.
The hotel is new, you can smell fresh paint - very strongly 😠 rooms are nice size, breakfast was,... OK, but not great, minimal, they have the same provider for food as the NHS, however staff are very helpful... It's too far from Oxford Street 😀😀
J. W.
Comfy and spacious rooms with very friendly staff. Dinner is very limited as they only offer a bar menu but what they do offer is very tasty and they also offer a 24/7 snack bar.
N. H.
A relatively new Hampton by Hilton in the Docklands. Just a short walk from Prince Albert DLR Station. You get what you expect from a Hampton, good comfy bed, nice room, excellent breakfast & polite staff. Breakfast can be a little crowded, but choose your time carefully. On your way to get the DLR, take a little detour through the car park on your right & walk along the dockside; you should see some rowers practicing their art. Would stay here again.
T. E.
Room was good. Breakfast was crowded with quite a lot of queues. Staff were dull. For the money you pay for the Hilton brand, it was not worth it. I got a Holiday Inn Express experience.
P. S.
Flew to London and checked into hotel around 3pm. Pre paid for our rooms and hotel staff very polite professional and helpful. Nice quiet area refuge from a busy London. Im from the country you see. Jumped on the underground train and onto DLR line and took in the sights of the big smoke. However no celebrities were spotted during our stay. Arrived back from a late liqour fuelled corporate function and crashed on the extrememly comfy bed. A bed fit for c list celebrities. Beautiful cooked continental breakfast helped my hangover woe. After all the reasonably priced alcohol from the late bar at the hotel contributed to this. Simple check out and ample towels and shower gels and shampoo. Would recommened and will use this hotel in future. Until my next shameing corporate event in London!
M. D.
Second time staying. Clean hotel with friendly staff. Great breakfast. Got a decent deals both times! Highly recommend.
S. V.
Nice room, friendly staff. Didn't have breakfast but lunch and dinner selection is a bit limited. There is a pub and Chinese restaurant nearby.
m. R.
Very lovely staff the rooms are excellent. English breakfast is served every morning and there are other alternatives if you are not a fan of the english breakfast. Close to the train stasion and the airport.
K.
Liked the location of the hotel, being quite modern and how relatively clean it was.
There was a massive stain on the carpet but did not take away from how clean everything else was.
D. W.
We've been here 2 nights out of 4, and things have been great. Staying for MCM Comicon at the ExCel, the staff at reception knew why we were there, and want to see our cosplay costumes. Having breakfast included makes things soo much easier every morning, and the room has everything we could need. The only complaint I might have is there is only one hook in the bathroom to hang a towel on. We'd be fine reusing them each day, but with 2 of us, and just 1 hook, it's difficult to get both hung up to dry by the next day. Otherwise, it's great!
J. D.
Big comfy bed, good sized rooms, nice shower. Breakfast pretty decent. Second time staying here and will do again.
B. P.
For the price I thought it was a solid option close to London City Airport. The take away breakfast (because of covid) was actually pretty good!
G. C.
Small but clean and modern rooms. Excellent breakfast! Very close to the DLR and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
M. D. V.
I’ve stayed at this location for a week it was my first time in England & the staff was very warm and polite on our arrival. On my third day I managed to loose my passport and began to panic, but the wonderful staff helped me to the best of their ability and I managed to get a replacement in one day before my flight out. This was above and beyond what they were expected to do. I appreciate your team and I will be back for another visit with friends. The kind staff that helped were : Kamal, Mr. Abou , Raluca, Alle, Mohsin & Charlie! Thank you again for the hospitality
T. Ž.
Hotel is very quiet, rooms are clean and good furnitured. Breakfasts are good, but breakfast room is very crowdy during rush hours. Its far from city center, but its easy to get to it with DLR and Jubilie underground, about 30mins.
K. P.
A good hotel with high operational standards, in an excellent location with easy access to the DLR, excel and London city airport.
H. M.
Lovely hotel. Breakfast was Great. They have a waffle bar 🎉 staff were really friendly and helpful
H. N.
Great place to stay to explore London right next to train station. awful breakfast
K. B.
Very friendly staff, new hotel with substantial furnished rooms. Also there are rooms for handicapped people. Breakfast buffet is included and fresh
T. C.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good choice at breakfast. Room lovely and clean with a very comfortable bed. £15 to park overnight :-(
P. M.
Lovely hotel and easy access to central London via light rail. Breakfast very good including make your own Waffles.
M. C.
Room was clean, modern, and comfortable. No refrigerator. The water in the shower was intermittently hot, cold, and warm. Breakfast was awesome and complimentary.
T. D.
Very functional, perfect business hotel. Good location.
R. F.
Good rooms but not as close to Excel as other hotels (about a 10-15 minute walk). Don't think it has breakfast either.
B. L. A.
Have been a few times nice comfortable rooms, standard breakfast and fantastic staff. However this time I got a room with no view, made me miss home.
T. A.
Very good place to stay near Airport. All is new and staff is friendly. About 30 min. with a DLR train to the city centre. Would recommend to everybody.
M. G.
Hotel in anticipo excellent position if you are attending an event at Excel London, or if you are flying from London City Airport, which is almost at walking distance. Truth is the rooms are nice and very recently renewed, the staff is friendly and helpful, but the value for money is very bad, although this applies to the majority of the lodging options in London
K. M.
Perfect location when landing at the city airport. Nice breakfast. Nice staff. Clean, comfortable rooms. A short walk to the DLR station.
M. W.
excellent room. very substantial breakfast . very friendly staff
T. W.
Comfortable room and bed, all you can eat breakfast with waffles and a checkout time of around midday, you can also check in up to midnight and despite being close to London city airport, you couldn't hear the planes landing.
C. C.
Nice hotel with a friendly staff. 10 minute walk to the metro and expo. Safe walk during the day but suggest taking a taxi if returning at night.
M. V.
Good clean rooms, supporting staff. Breakfast could be a bit fresher, but it's better than other Hampton by Hiltons I know
B.
Modern, clean and comfortable rooms with large windows; friendly staff and a great breakfast buffet. Would certainly stay here again.
C. K.
The breakfast experience is one not to be missed, you can cook your own waffles. The downside is the highly priced car parking fees for no reason.
M.
Friendly staff, but yet untrained. Still quite new building and interior. During two days watercan in gym was empty. Pricing during conferences (ca. 230 GBP per night) is crazy.
D. D.
Clean, cheap and simple hotel. Breakfast for every taste and really kind staff. Easy to travel with the nearby DLR Royal Albert.
S. R.
Fresh new hotel with great friendly staff. Comfy place to stay with great beds. Showers could be a bit more powerful though in my opinion
G. J.

Stayed here for a week
- Clean place
- Nice Breakfast
- Close to light rail station DLR
- Nice fitness center
Cons:
- Far from the city - change 2 trains to see most of the places in London
- Construction work going on around it so lot of noise even in the night time
- Parking is a hassle and of-course it's paid
J. J.
Reasonably nice hotel. Could do with more bathrooms on the ground floor. Breakfast was ok.
D. &. K. V.
Fantastic room & friendly people on reception. Contemporary lounge area. Prepare to travel on DLR / tube to central London.
A. D.
Nice staff, hotel super clean, good breakfast, and surprisingly for a hotel, really good pizza! Their corner rooms are very large
b. t.
Clean and comfortable with a good breakfast, easy access to tube into town (5 mins walk). Excellent value for London visits.
D. T.
Decent for the price. One puzzler: no blackout curtains (was a big gap which light gets through) and tons of other light producing things in the room. The alarm clock, the climate control, and another unidentified object all have off a huge amount of light. Didn't affect me, but to anyone who is light sensitive this would be an issue.

Not to bad on pricing breakfast good but not hot enough staff very helpful rooms not to bad good access to trains
D. G.
Helpful staff, decent 24hr bar, very clean and well presented hotel. Mattress was a little firm but apart from that great.
M. J.
Rooms very clean and tidy helpful staff could possibly have complementary biscuits with the hot drinks better signage of where hotel is situated when leaving the train station in the dark would be great
B. M.
