Reviews of Haven Hotel
The hotel location is very good near a lot of restaurants and shops. The room size was good also compared to other hotels in the same area. The room was clean and has a window for fresh air. There was a wardrobe and minibar which is good. The breakfast was good also but it finish so early. The only thing is that the staff needs to be more friendly and smile more.
It's not a fancy hotel but the beds are good and the breakfast excellent if you like British food.
Ok for the money. Tea and coffee in room. Fan in room but no air conditioning, it was very hot during my visit. Tried to keep window open but outside is a race track all night.
Rooms require some refresh. Wifi could work better (drops connection, a lot). Location is briliant!
Good location good breakfast staff excellent and very helpful shower water pressure weak
I enjoyed my stay there. It is strategically located, good and affordable.
Small, ok quality, ok breakfast. Room wasn't as good as expected
Very pleasant hotel. Friendly staff
clean, rooms very basic ok for contractor's,
nice. very courteous front desk staff
Good location and breakfast delicious
Good place to stay. Nice staff, our room was clean and warm. Were some problems with outlet, but is nothing. Weak Internet connection(( Positive points: Baker Street is in 15 minutes walk. The nearest tube station is in 10 minutes walk. A lot shops and cafes/restaurants around there.
A little bit outdated but good for sleeping
It's OK, but that's it. Not very cosy.
Not Bad.
It was a very good service
Spotless, sensible prices
Accepted not bad
Everything you need for a to london
Ok for the price.
Good enought
Clean
It's not the pinnacle of luxury, but it will do. The neighborhood is loud and there are constantly sirens which could interfere with your sleep if you're a light sleeper (which thankfully I'm not). The breakfast is acceptable, but it's hosted in a veritable bomb shelter which will begin to smell strongly of eggs after an hour or so of breakfast being served.
Overall the hotel is clean, the staff friendly, and the service good. Good for budget traveling.
Like the clubs
To say minimalist is a compliment. I stayed in this hotel in October 2018 for a tourist trip. The proximity to the Circle tube and Hammersmith and Bakerloo is positive. That said, the hotel offers small rooms with a French bed and a microscopic bathroom. Shower water is poor, more or less hot depending on the hours of use, as is free WiFi. The lack of a hairdryer is serious. TV and mini fridge are present. Room cleaned daily. Breakfast limited to toast and mini jams. Instant coffee, milk or eggs. Kind and helpful staff for information or anything else. In the end, what can I say? It's a classic London hotel at a good price. Recommended for those like me who only use it to rest at night, as I can spend the day outside. Strongly discouraged for those looking for a comfortable and elegant environment. In addition, given the presence of a hospital and a police station nearby, there are sirens at all hours. For future trips to London, I think I can still use this structure, of which I have a good memory.
The location is very good because it has excellent metro and bus connections to the places you'd like to visit. The room isn't badly sized. The price is right. The mattress is a bit soft. We killed four or five bugs on the nightstands during our stay. They were like tiny ants. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. They turned the heating on as if it were no problem. We slept with the window open in December. Even so, considering what's around and the location, it's recommended for a short stay.
Breakfast was very good and the location is not bad. 15 minutes from Oxford Street and Madame Tussaud's. However, the first room... Very small, the bed barely fit two of us, the window glass was cracked, and they call blanket what is in fact a bedspread and they don't have a blanket to lend. Not to mention a permanent "washing machine" noise coming from outside (VMC from the kitchens perhaps? They couldn't tell me, telling me that it was probably the mini-fridge in the room...). When the toilet failed us we were moved to another room, and the new one was very good. Thin walls but otherwise nothing to complain about.
The location is great, public transportation is within easy reach, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, but functional and clean! Unfortunately, the hotel is quite noisy (street noise, etc.), but at least you're close to the city center. There's parking right next door, and the breakfast (English or continental) is okay. The WiFi is a bit weak (the connection frequently drops out and is sometimes unavailable). Recommended for a short stay in the city!
(Translated) Good breakfasts (Swedish table, to choose: "Continental breakfast" or "English breakfast"), clean and tidy. Plus, and the downside is the location: close to the main attractions and monuments, but close to the road, and so at night people with a slight sleep may have a problem with falling asleep. The price for London is not high, the location and breakfast are good, so if you are planning the most expensive trip to London and you are not afraid of long walks (such as 30 minutes to the center), there is nothing else to book this hotel!

Old hotel, indeed centrally located and easy access to public transportation of any kind, advantage close to Oxford Street, the rooms are very small and the shower even smaller, the hotel owners do not bother to replace the minimum necessary equipment such as taps, low water pressure, the shower has only a top marker, (women be warned)
The breakfast is simple but reasonable and very personal, namely the preparation of omelettes, eggs, as you wish by the staff, if you dreamed of a tomato / cucumber, you will know that there is no..........
Very convenient hotel for the subway and buses. Small room but with everything you need, including a kettle with tea and instant coffee. Possible to have breakfast with eggs, bacon, etc. Very kind and helpful at reception. They provided us with an English plug and let us park for a small extra cost even though parking wasn't available and we hadn't asked for it when booking.
A modest hotel, relatively central. About a 10-minute walk from Hyde Park and Oxford Street, and about half an hour from Buckingham Palace, although there's public transport nearby.
The included breakfast was very basic.
The bathroom was tiny and the furniture was quite worn. The best thing was the staff's attention.
I would only consider it if you're looking for something affordable (compared to London prices).
The hotel is London standard. Don't expect much. But the staff was very kind, solving problems with the card and even waiting for payment.
The Haven Hotel was easy to find. The room was basic and clean. It Didn't have a proper duvet, only a throw type cover. Had to ask for one. Staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was included, was basic but good enough. Overall it was nothing to shout about but did the job!
Small room and tiny bathroom. The good thing is the location and that it is cheap compared to other similar hotels. Need to renovate rooms and beds
Too simple... cleaning every morning... breakfast... TV in English only... close to everything... transport... shops... restaurants... cheap prices...

Good but simple hotel. Beautiful. Good breakfast. Perfect for a few days!
Good breakfast, clean, friendly, helpful staff. Is very conveniently located.
Ok hotel but only the absolute essentials are there. Nothing beyond the basics.
Well located, but the shower was a disgrace, with no pressure and barely any hot water.
Good hotel... A little noisy, good breakfast
Good establishment with very good value for money.
A good hotel for a good price.
Nice clean rooms, GREAT staff and a nice full english breakfest, (included.)
Haven Hotel is located near so many places.
Hop in a taxi and you can go to The London eye, Buckingham palace and so much more.

If you want to stay (relatively) low budget in the center of London, this is the place. Do not expect anything fancy. But is is clean and close by transportation (paddington is very near). And probably the most important asset is the price of this hotel. For the location of the hotel is really is cheap

This is the best B&B in my personal opinion in central London as i have been visiting and staying here since 1988 til date and is always my first preference if it's available for me. The location is perfect for hoping on and off on London buses underground station only at a stone throwing distance, excellent choice of restaurants menus around the globe walking distance to famous hide park and Oxford Street. The only nagative observation that i have regarding this B&B is size of bathrooms and the guests lift,i personally don't feel comfortable with these two.
Not the best hotel. The rooms were not that clean. Could have maintained it better but the breakfast was decent. For the price it’s okay but needs to be maintained and should be cleaned.
Haven hotel is an amazing hotel. For its size, they provide CLEAN excellent rooms at affordable rates. Their customer service is nice and to my surprise, it is a b n b.
Really nice staff but the breakfast wasn't great. Convenient location but the traffic from is quite loud. Fridge in room but no hairdryer.
