Reviews of Hilton London Angel Islington
We had a great stay at London Hilton Islington. We were greeted by friendly, welcoming and helpful staff throughout our stay. The hotel is very child friendly and our toddler even received a colouring book, which was a lovely touch. Location and parking facilities are excellent. Huge family room. Great value for money.
Hotel is really nice and makes for a great stay. The Hotel staff were extremely helpful from the time we checked in early to leaving the baggage until time to catch the train. We did only have breakfast there and it was very good. Breakfast …
Business stay, very helpful staff, great room.
I stayed for one night. We checked in late at night, and left early in the morning. The room was a nice size, and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was pretty good, the food was great for a hotel buffet. Everyone I talked to was happy to help, which made everything very smooth and easy.
Friendly staff, rooms clean and comfortable and the food was 😋 so will definitely use again.
Good location, close to Angel underground and the area is full of cozy and busy bars and restaurants. Seems like a hip and lively district. Hotel staff are great and the breakfast is one I miss when not here. Rooms are clean and good as can be expected. Only backside is doors are slammy and both mornings my neighbors' doors woke me up. It's easily fixed and I'll let staff know.
Friendly staff, good breakfast, decent sized rooms in a good location.
Below expectations for a Hilton. The bed wasn't particularly comfortable, and was below what I would expect from the Hilton chain. Additionally the covid takeaway breakfast was pretty lacking when you consider the price. The room was a good value due to covid suppressing prices.
The staff were nice and helpful, and Holton has put in place good cleaning and sanitation protocols to mitigate covid.
Nice hotel, tucked away off the Main Street. The layout is a bit weird but once you get used to it, it's easy to navigate. Friendly staff and check in and out was really quick. Rooms are big which is a plus. The bathrooms however are a mess. Why is it guesswork for which button or knob does what?
Goodhotel rooms are decent size. I paid a very reasonable price for a standard room. We booked an executive room, the included breakfast was good as were the all day soft drinks/coffee and the evening appetizers and drinks. To make a long story short :we have found our perfect place in London.
Had a great stay. I was upgraded upon check-in and had a good view over the city. Staff were efficient and welcoming. Room was light and well equipped. Loved the audio integrated soaker shower. Good breakfast but no bacon. Took advantage of second guest stays free offer. Would recommend
Slightly cleaner version of a well known budget chain. Recommended by a colleague however the experience was in general underwhelming. The room is small and worn, TV is old with no smart compatability and the window catch.
The restaurant is an odd blend of Asian fusion and standard hotel fare. I ordered a ceasar salad with garlic flat bread and got an over dressed plate of shredded lettuce and some mystery meat thrown into the mix. The garlic flatbread was in fact a couple of slices of bog standard garlic baguette, straight out the packet.
In the interest of testing the Asian menu I ordered some bao buns, again straight from a packet and not worth a second bite. For dessert I opted for the chocolate fondant which, with the exception of the questionable ice cream, was alright.
Pillows were good and the bed was comfortable enough.
In the morning house keeping arrived a few hours ahead of check out, taking a couple of business calls this was a frustrating and unnecessary interruption.
Grounded by storm Eunice I had the choice of staying another night, needless to say I was out of there and into a hotel more worthy of the star rating they carry.
Restaurants superviser,Cosmin, was wery helpful ,and wery kind.AC was broken,so he got us 2 fans,so we would be comfortable, thank you!
Next to the Business Design Centre. Car park is very expensive even after 10% discount. I paid £36 between 23.00 and 18.00. Room and bathroom were clean with nice decor. Shower was fine. Breakfast was average.
Lovely modern room, superb and clean bathroom. Breakfast was varied and delicious and the staff accommodates in case of diet restrictions or allergies. Great location and neighbourhood. Only a few minutes from the tube. Can definitely recommend.
Very clean, friendly helpful staff. Nice quiet atmosphere. Rooms are nice, bed was very comfy! Altho it doesnt state clearly online that their "car park" is not free. Roughly £30 for under 24hrs.
I went there to celebrate our Christmas lunch with my colleagues, we were welcomed by Anabel she was very kind to show us the bar restaurant, very professional, we were attended by a bartender! Ivan was awesome and attentive. The food and drinks 5 Stars, the place cosy and modern, complement to the chef . I truly recommend it
We had a lovely afternoon tea here. The staff were friendly and they were able to accommodate complex dietary requirements
Badly in need of a refurbished. I've stayed in better Hilton's. The room had stains on the carpet, tv channels were limited and the tv would switch itself off sporadically during the 2 weeks I was there. The breakfast was bland and pricey for what it is. You get a free paper in the morning but if it is the Sunday Times thete are no supplements. The gym is worse then most home gyms. The staff don't look happy and are surly however, if you support Arsenal, I do not, they stay here pre home matches!
Clean rooms (but no good view) and friendly staff. The buffet breakfast was perfect as well. Also, good access to London’s tube. If you are going to the Business Design Centre for a business event or conference, this hotel is a great choice considering the 2 min walk to the venue.
Stayed here for three nights on business. The hotel is lovely and modern and although I think it's tailored for business it would be perfect for couples. The rooms have a lovely cosy feel and are very well decorated. The bathroom was lovely and spacious, although the water pressure wasn't overly powerful and the water wasn't especially hot. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of hot and cold. I stayed bed and breakfast so not sure if it was good value when added on. Staff were very friendly and really helpful. The area is perfect if you are visiting London as a tourist. 10 minute walk to Angel underground station which is one stop from Kings Cross. The Islington area also has a great selection of bars and restaurants and is perfect for people watching at the weekend.
Great hotel with good access through the tube (walking distance) and buses (again, walking distance) to pretty much everywhere in London. Around 30 min walk to my point of interest in the City.
Executive rooms are big, very comfortable beds and fantastic bed linen. Well, standard Hilton quality so amazing.
Executive lounge is accessible 24/7 but happy hour is only between 6PM-8PM.
Staff on reception very helpful. Breakfast has almost no healthy options and as we are vegan wrong offered to pay more for some vegetables and we're told no. We don't have any. Juice is advertised ad fresh but comes from a bottle or carton. Breakfast staff not happy in their jobs so very surly with guests. We would not stay again. We have diamond membership and even in the exec lounge there were very little healthy options and nothing for vegans avail.
Great hotel with great service. Was a busy bank holiday weekend. But non the less great atmosphere.
Very business-oriented hotel. You probably only want to stay here when your company pays. The vicinity to the Business Design Centre is a huge plus. Everything is clean and tidy, staff is forthcoming and polite. The breakfast is good. Why the bar only has import draught beer is beyond me.
Five star service was received from the staff especially by sometime Named Isaac. We were there for my son's registry wedding reception. Food was delicious and we'll taken care of. Loved every minute.

It was a pleasure to stay in this hotel. The service was great and their executive suite stayed open all night for the jetlaggers. Rooms and lobbies were spacious and location of Angel-Islington area made it very easy to travel in all directions. There is a trade show/convention center space right beside this hotel making it a convenient place for foreign travelers who are coming for an event there. I had not gone for any event and was on thanksgiving break to meet my daughter but the anticipation that I saw there for 2 days to a ‘Hotel Design Event’ was enough for me to barge in when the exhibition opened at 10:00am of the day I was leaving at noon. The gatekeeper didn’t let me in but when did I get discouraged by gatekeepers? I gave it a last shot of rushing back into the hotel and filling the online form with my ‘foreign architect’ credentials. Hilton was nice enough to direct me to their ever ready document printer! Phew! I got to rush through a really nice event. Thanks Hilton Angel-Islington
Had a queen room and it had plenty of room to open full size suitcases. The decor was in good condition and the bathroom was perfect, clean with nice fittings and probably the best hotel shower I've used in the last three weeks - just had a holiday in Asia taking in 4 and 5 star hotels and resorts.
The bed and duvet were lovely and the cotton bedding soft and fresh. The room was quiet and the heating/air-conditioning was also quiet and easy to adjust.
The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. I didn't eat or drink in the hotel so can't comment on these, but the bar area looked nice.
The location is very good and there is a carpark under the hotel. Parking is expensive, but it's to be expected in London and the carpark is actually nothing to do with the hotel. I will definitely return to this hotel as the local area offers plenty of choice for places to eat and drink and it's well placed for going into central London. There's also a Wetherspoons just down the road if you're looking for good value food (including breakfast) and a good selection of sensibly priced beers and drinks.
Good hotel, use it fairly regularly. Slight glitch with restaurant.
Nice, modern hotel. Didn't dine there, so unable to comment on the food. However, first room allocated had been smoked in - immediately changed, but staff should air the room when cleaning if smoke fumes exist. If fumes are not gone, the room shouldn't be immediately allocated.
Staff were brilliant. Location is fantastic, about a 3 minute walk to the Angel tube station. Car park though is not part of the hotel but the hotel validate your chip and give you significant discount. All in all a marvellous hotel.
Reasonable hotel. Hilton isn't what it used to be; however, staff were fabulous, extremely helpful & accommodating. Yasmin on the front desk was lovely!
Friendly and helpful staff. The place is very clean and tidy, my room was exactly what you need for somewhere to crash after a long day - the breakfast wasn't bad either 😁
Most amazing staff very attentive to every need before you ask. The rooms were superb. definitely recommend it as a must stay hotel wonderful area and easy to get around. Would rate them at a 10+ if I could.. Alex, Holly, John, Glen just to name few make you feel right at home..

Excellent location just off Islington High Street in close proximity to Angel tube station. Definitely one of the nicer and newer Hilton's. The room was quiet, well decorated with excellent amenities. Check in was a bit slow but there is a nice homely reception / bar. area.
I stayed here for a few nights recently while in town for business. The hotel was in a great area with a Tube station just a 5 minute walk down the street and that is important since the Tube is your economic lifeline to the entire city. I thought the employees weren't too helpful about the surrounding area as they lived outside the city so I was on my own for good restaurant suggestions. The room itself was small yet nicely updated, but the shower doesn't get very warm and the water pressure was horrible. The bed is quite stiff, but I passed right out due to jet lag, and the Free WiFi is terrible with a slow connection that kept booting me off. I'd stay there again for a company meeting but not if on vacation, look for an AirBnB for much cheaper in the city.
On arrival it was obvious our suite had been given away, so we were offered a double executive rm and an apology but no real explanation. the staff were lovely but the experience was really disappointing. The stay was topped off with a 5am wake up call from the room next door having unneccesarily loud sex for well over an hour. Least think she was paid well for her service and hope his wife is none the wiser! #getansticheck
Just kidding. We stayed here in between houses because it's in our neighborhood. Our room smelled like mildew that hit us as soon as we opened the door. Comfortable bed, forgettable interior, all marble bathroom is nice. We always go for the executive lounge add-on because of the drinks and snacks in the evening and breakfast in the morning. We recently stayed at the Hilton Berlin and that lounge was waaaaay better. The breakfast here was pretty good though. It's a convenient no frills Hilton, but I hope that mildew scent gets taken care of.
Very bare unwelcoming foyer. Very unfriendly cold member of staff that under no circumstances was she going to help us check in even 15 minutes early. I booked a twin superior room which was very small. Plus side it is quite central and close to public transport
Good:
Breakfast, breakfast staff (very good) , Exec lounge staff (very good), rooms generally good although mine was surprisingly noisy (lift) despite not being right next to the lift.
Location (excellent, lots of great local pubs and restaurants)
Bad:
Checked in on the app for a 5pm arrival, told when I arrived at 6:30pm that the room was still being cleaned! Half of my colleagues had a similar experience
When I got a key it didn't work, reception staff not at all apologetic for either of these things, considering this happened to half of our group I'm worried that it is normal.
Reception checked a colleague into a room that was already occupied! This is pretty unforgivable.
Food in the Exec lounge was very average but there was plenty of it!
Wine in the exec lounge was terrible (the red was an 11% pale red grape juice pretending to be wine)
I have mixed feelings about my stay at this hotel. The things I liked were the friendly staff, delicious breakfast and convenient location to the London Underground. I did not like that I could not get a wash cloth for a couple of days, housekeeping said they ran out; the alarm clock in my room was not working and was never replaced even though I asked a couple of times and finally the pillows had seen better days and need to be replaced.
Taking our 35th anniversary trip. Stayed at Hilton London Islington. Wonderful, cozy for large hotel, snuggled in area full of restaraunts, pubs, shopping within walk distances and close to underground to travel anywhere in London. Staff has been so warm, friendly, helpful and knowledge. Hotel is clean, roomy. Definitely recommend.

The hotel was within minutes of the Underground Angel stop on the Northern line. Would recommend if you do not mind taking the tube to see all the ""tourist"" sights. The staff and service was very good and the staff were great when i …
This is a great Hilton, the staff are very friendly and nothing is to much trouble. The location is also great with lots of pubs, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance yet the hotel is set far enough back from the main road you do not get disturbed by the traffic. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel

Overall very helpful reception staff. Resolved the issues I had quickly and were helpful with moving me into a different room. Breakfast food was nice, service during a lunchtime meeting not very attentive. Great location for London.
I found service at the reception desk and bar a bit slow but otherwise staff were friendly and helpful. I did ask for a razor kit and they didn't have any. The breakfast was superb though and the room was very nice.
Conveniently located a short walk from Angel tube station, this hotel meets the high standards I've come to expect from the core Hilton branded hotels. The rooms are modern and comfortable with excellent service. The only minor downside for me is that the gym has only just been built and hasn't opened yet.
Very clean, nice staff, good location. A little expensive.
Awesome hotel in an awesome location! Easy to get to anywhere in London and Upper Street itself has everything you need! Stayed in room 406 and loved having a balcony. Staff is very friendly and professional. This is the reason I stay at this Hilton for over 10 years!
Staff is really welcoming and there are no huddles coming in and out. The room had been decorated with rose petals and a bottle of wine and chocs was left for us. Hilton were offering a deal a the time, which made this hotel the same price as the Premier Inn around the corner.
The staff were good but they were a few things that were a little off. Firstly the lighting system for turning lights on and off were wierd. Like the master switches plus bedside light made little sense. Also the people next door left early to get to they started cleaning the room and you could hear the vacuum cleaner in our room quite loud. Also the system for cleaning the rooms means they knocked to wait for an answer to see if the room is vacant. When I answered the door the lady apologized but still was a little annoying. However as i said couldn't fault the staff and the front desk were great.
This hotel is very modern and comfortable. They've given a lot of thought to convince in the room design. The breakfast buffet is very tasty and provided many options.
Checking in was easy, the room felt luxurious and was very clean and tidy, the bed was incredibly comfy and then when we checked out the hotel held our bags for us to collect again so we didn't have to carry them around London for the rest of the day. Amazing experience with a feel of class every minute we spent there
Room not ready after checking in. Could not provide any food for my Coeliac child other than saying 'it will probably be contaminated'. Couldn't provide a bed guard. Sofa bed had metal bars jutting through the 'mattress' and was suitably stained. Hilton has really gone downhill. 8 years ago it was pretty decent. Would not stay here again. We have stayed in much nicer, cheaper hotels. It was a real shame as it was a Christmas treat for our children. If any management at Hilton think it's acceptable to have to sleep on such a sofa bed, then that is embarrassing to the company name.
Hotel well located for the bustle of trendy Islington only 50 yds from shops and eating places. Breakfast was served with smiling staff. It's a Hilton and so expect a high level of service. I would definitely recommend this hotel and plan to stay here again on our next visit to London.
Staff were very helpful and made our stay enjoyable. Room was booked for a birthday and staff put balloons and a cake in the room which was more than expected and a lovely touch.
Very nice and clean hotel. Close to transportation and stores. The staff is very nice and friendly to help you with whatever you need during your stay. Special thanks to Holly, Glenn, John, Nicole, Alex and the other front desk & breakfast staff for there help!
It's been renovated since I last stayed here. Big rooms, contactless keys for rooms, and really friendly and helpful staff. Had access to the executive lounge, free drinks and canapés. Used them a starter before going out for a meal, could have happily stayed at eaten them all night. Big selection. Only issue was the lounge isnt as big as other hotels, it seems more like a bolt on/after thought more than a planned development.
Good location, nice well sized rooms for London. 5 minutes from Angel tube and 15 minute walk from Kings Cross. Staff are pretty poor - stayed here several times and pretty shambolic each time. Would stay again though despite that.
Great Hilton, good location and decent price. As a diamond member I get all the extras so I can be a little biased, but I am a fan of Hilton brands, they have treated me pretty well.
The inside is far better than the outside which is an architectural crime. The rooms are actually pretty decent, fairly quiet and all you need for a night or two in London. Not too far out from the centre either.
Great location, very close to tube station, walk to Camden via the canal, Islington is a safe area of London to be based and quick & easy to Kingscross, Euston and St Pancras rail stations. Down side the beds are Very hard and pillows way too soft. Everything else is fine. Staff were all very friendly. The gym room is also very small. Rooms are generally comfortable as you expect from Hilton brand.
Great hotel even though it's a little difficult to find! Very central with lots going on. Plenty of restaurants and a 2 minute walk to the underground. 10 minutes to the West End! Breakfast was good, lots of choice and plenty of it. The staff on duty Saturday night & Sunday morning were really helpful. Will most certainly stay again.
Nice and clean. And in a very Good location
Had a wonderful night's stay in this refurbished hotel. Great location for futball games at the Arsenal and the Tothenham clubs, not to far away via bus or tube. The hotel is right off the Angel Subway station so only a very short subway or bus ride to all the sights.
We had a business meeting in the lobby over coffee. Environment was welcoming and seemed to be a popular meeting place. However, we were able to find a table to suit our party size and were promptly served by a friendly member of staff. Located adjacent to the Business Design Centre, its location is a good place to socialise after an event.
Flickering bathroom light, woefully understaffed (one person that does all of check in, guest service, maintenance, luggage). Manager was there but was “busy replying to emails”. Missing toothbrush and bottled water, some sockets do not work. Will not stay with Hilton again.
Fantastic location, room as you'd expect from Hilton (clean, good size, excellent rainforest shower) they allowed us 11:30am early check-in as we had a wedding. Fatima on reception couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommended
I stayed in an executive room and always had to call before being given complementary bottles of water. On a particular day, I called repeatedly (house keeping, front desk, room service over a 3 hr period and there was no response. Incomplete replacement of room consumables by house keeping. Water pressure in the bathroom was unimpressive. Selective treatment at the breakfast buffet with regards to being offered tea/coffee.
Overall service level, below Hilton standards.
This was my second stay in this hotel. I came back here because of the nice location, excellent quality and perfect service. In my room I was pleased to see two complimentary bottles of Strathmore for Elite HHonors members. Drinks were with reasonable prices. Breakfast was good with great variety of choices including fresh fruit, seeds and yoghurt, cold meats and cheeses, breads, croissants, cupcakes, cereals and a full cooked breakfast buffet. I highly recommend this lovely hotel.
Clean, comfortable, efficient hotel right next to the Business Design Centre exhibition hall. There's no hotel more convenient for the centre than this one. Not cheap to stay or park at, but it is London, and it is a good hotel.
I used the cafe in the reception area to hold a meeting. It was sufficiently quiet and private to do this whilst having a good tasting coffee. The setting was typically what you would expect from the high standards set by Hilton.
Hotel is not flexible about the check in and the church it time, staff at the reception are very cold; in the other hand staff at the restaurant are very warm and pleasant. Done are small and only 2 hangers in the wardrobe which are not enough at all
Naiomi from room service was great! Credit to the company
Well located, in the midst of a variety of restaurants. Short walk away from Angel tube station and a long walk away from Kingscross. The service in general is good. Rooms were a tad small for my liking and getting to the first floor in the absence of a lift was a tad cumbersome with a big suitcase.
Great location close to The Angel tube station. Just a few minutes' walk from the lovely Islington high street. Our room was really quiet and the bed was really comfortable too.
Quality of the hotel is better than some other hiltons I've stated in. Staff were great and drinks selection was interesting. Good location and well priced against its local competitors
Very bad ! A noisy not confortable bed.
Other, I had to cancell one night and nobody at checkin or even chaeck out informed me that my booking ws not cancellable, finally my stay was charged twice on my credit card without any reason. After several emails still nobody was able to solve this issue...
We stayed here for a wedding. The locality is great. Close to an underground and the businesses around are trendy and hip. Hotel rooms are nice and clean.
I got upgraded due to fault with the tv to a lovely 2 double suite. The staff were Great, rooms very comfortable. I have stayed a few times and will stay again.
Amazing hotel such a great central localtion just off tge main raod in a coyrt yard style location. Angle tube station on the northen line 1 stop from kings Cross. Very spacious moden room. Even more so for London. Very helpful and frendy staff. Small but very good exc lounge. Large breakfast area with a big selection.look forward to staying again
Went here for afternoon tea with my two besties it was a christmas present and also one of the ladies birthday
I have been there twice now and their service is phenomenal
The manager and his staff have excellent customer service and take time out to come and speak to you nothing is to much trouble for them
Go check them out you will not be disappointed.....
Near to Angel station and many bus station, also close to Angel shopping centre, very convenience. The hotel room is comfortable and clean, with welcoming staffs. My family had a good time there,
Great hotel in great location lovely rooms. Friendly staff and good service. Breakfast is fantastic. Have stayed here several times with friends and family
Beautiful hotel, fantastic staff, delicious food and excellent and extremely attentive staff.
My father and I stayed for two nights b&b while over in London for a soccer match and we both could not have been more pleased with everything we'll be back again and would highly recommend it to anyone else
Don't really rate it if I'm honest, rooms are nice but facilities are lacking. Don't even have a proper guide on the tele, just stupid Hilton menu! Wi-if sucks if you can actually get on it! Wouldn't pay their prices!
Room was fantastic. Some of the features like being able to listen to the TV while in the bathroom were nice. Very comfortable. The staff were amazing. Faultless.
Lovely Hotel in a quite neighborhood. Many choices for different types of cuisine with in walking distance. Closer to lovely parks for walking during. A very unique antique market across the hotel.
Nice hotel and great staff. Only complaints, TV in room flickered loads and made it unwatchable, fridge was empty, top of wardrobe hadn't been dusted and my bag was covered in it after I place it up there.
Loved staying here, the rooms are really clean and tidy and the breakfast was good too. Staff are friendly. Would come back.
I would advise anyone who reads this DO NOT to stay at this hotel, they have charged me TWICE for my stay, it is totally 100% their mistake. I checked out on Sunday have made several phone calls and cannot get my money back. So they have had 500 pounds of my money since Sunday. It is a disgrace & totally unacceptable that they can keep 500 pounds of my money that is not theirs but mine
They cannot still tell me when i will get my own money back.
Do not make the same mistake, stay at one of the other hotels in London that will only take what is due
One of the better Hilton hotels in London. Quite new so interior is up to scratch. What you would expect from all of them but sadly not the case from a chain severely lacking consistency.
Hotel in general was very nice and the restaurant food was good. Drinks priced for London so ridiculously expensive. The room I stayed in had red stains all over the carpet and the room wasn't cleaned in my two day stay (something I found out after regards not cleaning the rooms unless requested due to COVID).
Pricey, but quality. We had a lovely stay here, excellent location, brilliant discount from the hotel for safe overnight parking. Would definitely use again.
Very good hotel. Nice big rooms and very attentive staff. Surprisingly easy to get to and from central London. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby as well.
I'm not sure how it got the Hilton badge, but it's pretty mediocre compared to what I expect.
The service in the cocktail bar is appalling, and the drinks watery and expensive. If you're staying here, then head out to any of the multitude of good bars on Upper St.
Very pleasant stay in a good location
This hotel is OK however the booking and sales people that work for this and a few other Hilton's in London are useless. They take weeks to get a price for a month long stay, refuse to honour Hilton Hhounors benefits, are are generally rude.
Booked a room for four nights. However I was mistakenly charged for an extra day. When I talked with Hilton they refused to return the money and said they would keep it as credit for the next visit.
Excellent Hotel set right next to design centre but also in a area full of eating places etc. Service was very good as was Breakfast.
Would highly recommend.
Highly disappointing to say the least....misinformation from reception
Bedroom lights didnt work.....other than the above the sleeep was incredible!!!!!!
🌍 Had an informal meeting near the bar area and the service was good. I was quite impressed with the decor and ambience of the hotel. Looked comfortable
Spent a night here and I enjoyed it. Made use of the executive lounge - they have a selection of beverages and alcoholic drinks, so worth it. I enjoyed my breakfast too.
Foyer and rooms as expected. Nice outside area to have drink and breakfast was nice. Parking is a problem, well for Hilton as we was told to pre-book, BDC upon leaving said this wasn’t correct. Had we just turned up and validated our ticket it would have saved £100 for 4 days!
We have recently spent a few days in London and stayed at the Hilton London Angel Islington and from a location perspective this was ideal for our needs.
Parking for the Hotel is in the underground car park at the front of the Hotel adjacent to the business centre. Parking from Friday afternoon to Monday morning was discounted to £72.00.
Back to the Hotel, check in was very welcoming and easy with very pleasant staff.
Unfortunately when we got to our room it had not been cleaned nor prepared. I popped back to reception to explain and within a second the lady without me asking upgraded us to an executive suite which then had access to the executive lounge. In the executive lounge a full range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks plus food was available for free. This was an amazing upgrade and gesture offered by the Hotel without fuss.
Breakfast each morning was equally good in a bright, modern and pleasant restaurant.
The views over the city from our room were fantastic and certainly added to the positive experience.
All in all a very good experience at the Hilton and for what we had was also excellent value when compared to other options.
We will without doubt return to the Hilton when next in Islington.
Friendly staff, lovely room, very clean. Ideal position for tube and local shops. Very good buffet style breakfast.
Overall a good experience. Check in was really slow but the rooms were fantastic. Really comfy bed and good sized TV. Fantastic power shower.
If you're attending an event at the business design center the location can't be beat. Staff were friendly, the room was well kept, and there are plenty of places to see in the area, as well as a metro station less than five minutes away by foot.
Great location! Good facilities. Friendly welcoming staff. We've had a good stay so far despite a slight hiccup with the power I'm our too.
Amazing service grom the staff. Halo restaurant food was simply delicious. Highly recommend Hilton Islington. Superb ambiance. Will definately go back.
Great base and well kept rooms. Friendly staff
Being mine and my wife's first anniversary the Angel islington was our choice of.hotel with easy access to all of London. We was please y surprises at how friendly and helpful the staff were
Well situated for business centre next door. Parking exceptionally close. Staff all very polite and professional. Room was impeccable if a little cold.
Great customer service
Comfy clean beds
Awesome showers
For £60 pounds per night not bad
+ parking £25 for 24hours
Very convenient location with good transport connections. This hotel has recovered better than some from Covid and offers an decent breakfast.
The a/c in the room appeared to be ineffective and this, like many other hotels, needs to ramp up its housekeeping services. Housekeeping staff tend to lack attention to detail.
Best rooms are at the back because noise from the street, especially the neighbouring Skinny Kitchen, can be intrusive particularly when the window is open to compensate for the underperforming a/c.
Corporately, the hotel appears to value more highly the presence of Arsenal mens and womens teams than individuals spending their own money. The disruption is disproportionate and is the subject of ongoing dialogue with local management.
A couple of month ago I was supposed to stay at the hotel (Hilton London Angel Islington) but I because I lost my flight I had to cancel my reservation.
Meanwhile a package was already on his way and was delivered to the hotel and received by Stefanie. I've been a few times to the hotel and Stefanie keep saying there is no record of any receipt.
Hotel staff (Saranpat Keaopirom), promised to forward my email to the hotel directly so they could assist me. That happened on 10th of Aug and so far, after many tries, no answer from anyone at Hilton.
This is a terrible customer service
Shocking, rude staff, didn't want to serve us, dirty menu provided only for snacks not full menu that is advertised! we left and crossed the road to pizza express where we were welcomed and had a very good lunch!
Great customer service. Clean and beautiful rooms.
It is obviously a great location but for the price I did expect slightly more. You had to pay for wifi and there was no service in the rooms.
Conveniently located near lots of restaurants, supermarkets and shopping center. Usual good quality HIlton Rooms,
Decent enough hotel in a good location. Lack of alcohol free beers in the bar is a little behind the times!
Went for afternoon tea with a friend. Staff helpful and friendly. Good selection of teas. Sandwiches and cakes were tasty. Will consider another visit soon.
We had the Terrace room on 4th floor with balcony overlooking london city view. Ample of room for 4 individuals and the front desk service was good and quick.
Decent London hotel, wouldn't recommend on Friday or Saturday nights as it does attract a laddish crowd. Both of my stays featured noisy neighbors and late night activity in the Halls.
Tarnished by slamming bedroom doors at 3.15 and 5.15 am. Fit stick on acoustic smoke seals to the doors so all can sleep!
If you can afford it, very nice room comfortable, service with a smile and lovely breakfast.
Went there for a tea in the afternoon with my girlfriend and her friends. Mediocre building with mediocre interiors. Good afternoon tea but not at the level one might expect. Good location, on upper street between Islington and Angel.
I booked a room for the 22/12/18 for 1 night through Expedia, I let them know in good time that I would like to cancel my room because of a bereavement, I said straight after cancelling my room that if I cant have a refund then I would like to reinstate the booking but got told that, not only do I not get a refund I cant reinstate the booking, very bad customer service.
The hotel room was very clean and the shower room was superb.I would recommend this hotel and i will certainly return.
The room was big, clean and organized. very pleasant staff. The staying was great
Really friendly staff - guy called Tarak i think. Complimentary water as he served me late. Good place to work nice and quiet and good space.
I would highly recommend it for business meetings and meet ups.
Nice hotel, although the rooms are a bit dated. Great location, lots of restaurants and pubs close by.
Lovely hotel. Great location, very close to Kings Cross. Comfortable, clean and pleasant room. Breakfast was lovely.
The location is very good and the staff and the breakfast is excellent they have a morrocian chief she is very cute and get service professionals
But the cleaning room is very bad because they did not clean the room professional and didn't put water and bathroom tessues After they were alerted and asking about it
I give the hotel 5 star just for breakfast.
Very helpful staff, chatty & welcoming
Excellent Service, Air conditioning in the rooms, Fabulous Food, Staying again next week and looking forward to it.
We stayed for 6 nights and the room was only clean on the 1st day, even though we requested to be cleaned at least 3 times or 2 due to a long stay, clean was dirty when we arrived, full of dust. Reception ladies from morning and afternoon sometimes night were rude and not helpful at all, the only reason why I am giving 3 stars it’s because breakfast was amazing breakfast team (guys with the black uniform) they were really good , and also it was one guy in Reception the one who welcomed us the morning of the 15th, gave us a proper welcome mentioning the fact we are good members soon to be diamonds, exec lounge good some days really bad others . But the girls in reception made our stay really uncomfortable. So sorry didn’t want to ask for names .
Very nice accomodation, clear and comfortable room, very friendly staff, rich and delicious breakfast. I suggest to every guest. If I will be in London, I come back here. :)
Staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel looks so nice
Lovely stay. Beautiful room
The friendliest and gracious people at the front desk! Very nice, clean, and modern. Whenever I come back to London I will ONLY be staying here.
Really friendly and helpful staff- excellent breakfast buffet otherwise just what you would expect from a good hotel.
Lovely hotel, great breakfast and slightly nicer decor and feel to the Doubletree around the corner. Perfect for business travel
Location is good and staff is friendly. Bed is hard and breakfast was not great (especially for £15).
Perfect stay for a weekend away in london. The rooms are very clean and a lot bigger than the photos show.
Loved it, afternoon tea was just gorgeous! Staff were friendly and helpful!
Excellent stay lovely hotel the room was immaculate, evening meal and breakfast was very very tasty, will definitely be back.
A good and but overly large Hilton hotel that turns out is in a great location - the Angel Islington. Easy to walk to the Tube (Angel), lots of shopping and restaurants. The rooms and facilities were very clean.
Both good for business and leisure. Larger rooms than more centrally located hotels. Breakfast is priced friendly
We stayed here as part of a birthday gift for my dad and i, we went out for dinner and came back to a happy birthday cake which was really amazing and unexpected.
Generally average. Nice staff but the hotel is lacking for a Hilton brand venue. More similar to their budget brands.
This hotel is OK but the rooms are variable. Many have faulty air conditioning or broken window catches etc. For the money it should be better.
Nice hotel, make sure you get a room with lounge access to. It allows you a lounge with a full breakfast and snacks all day.
Super location. 5 minutes from the Angel underground. 2 minutes from the nearest bus stop. Great breakfast spread. Courteous staff. Excellent.
Just returned from an enjoyable weekend break spent at this hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff help set this hotel apart from the others.
My room was right across from the Maid's closet, so a lot of hustle and bustle in the morning woke me up. Very comfortable room and nice services.
Good breakfast options; excellent location, close to Tube; room was very clean and quite big, especially for London
Not the standard i usually experience at the Hilton.
Front desk were a bit off when I was trying to check in as my room wasn't ready. Had to wait a while after check in after seeing others in my party check in without an issue. Eventually changed my room, wish they'd have done that at the start. Once we got to the room it was lovely and well kept.
Best hotell in islington, clean, Nice room, friendly staf and prime locations close to pubs, resturants and tube.
Not up to Hilton standards. Broken elevator (1 of the 2), weak air conditioning, dismal executive lounge, front desk insufficiently staffed, some amenities missing.
No idea what the rooms are like, but the bar? Cool chairs, yet only silly little baby bottles of cider.
So shocked my daughter Surprised me for my 44th BIRTHDAY.. seemed a bit pricey but she got a voucher and saved a bit but two 3 course meals well worth it.
The staff were very accomodating and the rooms were very clean. I had a great stay!
One of my favourite hiltons - lots of places nearby to eat /drink
Rooms are bit squeezy but overall very good. Location is best as Angel tube station is very very close.
Stayed for a long weekend. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable; room was clean and sufficient.
Classic Hilton .Room Food and Service top notch simply excellent .Also the food is not expensive .Highly reccomend this North London hotel for business .visits.gatherings
Excellent location, very clean, staff good,
Room was nice but not as clean as you would expect during a pandemic - there was dust everywhere and hairs on the bathroom floor - the soap also looked like it had been used previously. I had booked a king room but only received a double bed without explanation. Staff were nice but no one went out of their way to help. Minimal communication from staff.
Great location and modern hotel. Good bar but surrounded by many other good bars and restaurants
The service isn't that great and the phone in room is covered in dust. I've stayed in other Hilton hotels which have been slot better.
Hotel staffs are so nice!
Rooms are nice and the staff are amazing a real credit to the company.
Great and friendly staff and very good location. Highly recommend.
Nice Hotel, can check in remotely, nothing to complain about and would stay here again
My elderly uncle and auntie stays there a week ago, popped around to be with them numerous occasions we were mortified with the rudeness and attitudes of the housekeeping staff there,if you were to ask them for help or any enquiry regarding the dirty bed sheets that still on the bed from previous guess, towels is wet without been used, dirty bath..all you get is sorry no speak English and walk away.or just stood there staring at you. This hotel is loosing the identity which once hold.i always advice my family's and friends to stayed there but never again it's just diabolical and rubbish.
Nice clean hotel, but digital keys didn't work, had to ask for mugs to be provided for coffee in the executive lounge and sat at a table not ready to eat at for breakfast.
Short stay there, and an even shorter night but that was due to myself and a few bad friends. Clean, great central location, and good value for money.
Place to stay if you have a conference at Business Design Centre. Friendly service and super comfortable beds.
Tidy hotel, stayed once and visited the down stairs bar on several occasions. Very friendly staff.
Surprisingly good expresso for a general bar / breakfast room.
Evening bar staff are friendly too.
Very convenient for the Design Centre.
Great hotel and staff. Easy to get into centre of London fro Angel tube station. Only 4 stops.
overall very good, parking is very expensive even with the discount.
Check in and check out were quick and easy. The beds were comfortable, and the room and bathroom were clean
Friendly staff, the hotel is currently being remodeled. Have had better hotels for these rates.
Great bedrooms - really good Covid measures in place, which gave me real confidence.
Solid location, quick to the tube and tons of places to eat near by. As a hotel for work its solid.
Dark decor made the haĺlways rather dingy. Plus: Plenty of space & no rush to unload luggage on arrival.
What a wonderful experience and the staff were professionals, caring and oh did I say nice. Definitely stay here again.
Quiet, clean rooms nice staff, breakfast really nice lots of choices
Staff and hotel perfect just some minor maintenance needs doing in rooms but it's the best Hilton I've stayed at
Excellent hotel in a fantastic location of you enjoy lively bars and restaurants or are visiting London for the Almeida theatre, Union Chapel or the Arsenal. Awesome breakfasts and stand out rooms.
Very noisy in room and at bar, but bed comfortable and the facilities worked. Won't go back though.
Nice afternoon tea!
Lovely clean room, amazingly friendly staff, shower was brilliant
Check in time is extremely slow. Me and my husband were waiting for one hour past check in time but it’s still not done. Really bad! Wasted our time!
Enjoyed our stay there. Quiet and close to a lot of restaurants, a big supermarket and Angel tube station.
Very nice hotel with beautiful location, ***y restaurants around. Tube station 5 minutes walk. Highly recommended
The staff was very helpful and friendly, located close to the tube, clean and spacious rooms.
Great stay thank you
Wonderful room and service, friendly staff, and a brilliantly fresh and varied breakfast.
Stayed there many times and for a week or longer. Love the area. Very convenient. Never had bad experience there.
Very clean, stayed there for my wedding night breakfast was amazing, car park abit expensive as I payed £57 for 2 days, and it's tucked away as my sat nav took me round the back of it.
An excellent hotel. Couldn't fault it. Really will stay again.
One of the better Hiltons I have stayed at. Whenever I am on business in London this is my preferred hotel due to how convenient it is to the BDC.
Great location. Easy accessable via tube. Great room. Good staff.
Great location for London lots to do and see. Rooms are really good. Strange banging noises during the night.
Nice and comfortable beds and nicely decorated rooms! Just a little expensive.
Nice room, slightly hard bed, decent breakfast. No screen mirroring or chromecast on tv.
Pretty good as Hilton's go. Friendly staff, updated decor and well positioned in the middle of Islington.
It's OK more, not really a high end Hilton, new purpose built, clean etc not bad!
Spacious rooms with good breakfast selection and parking right underneath hotel.
Good food. Good meeting room and easy access from St Pancras and Kings x.
Great stay, breakfast was lovely and the room very clean and well equipt
Overnight stay as heading to GOSH with our son. Staff very helpful and room/bathroom were very clean. Beds & pillows are comfy. One of few hotels to have a car park (at extra cost).
Excellent hotel. Great staff. Superb survive. My favourite hotel in London.
Had a lovely stay in a clean room. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Great location, helpful staff and extremely clean!
Comfortable stay, a barebones experience with an expensive bar.
I was a bit miffed that they had no spare chargers.
Done work experience here!
The staff are amazingly helpful. And it's a great place. Food is amazing!
Clean hotel near good spots with friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Loved this hotel. Great staff good location we had a lovely night.
Breakfast was not in line with what one expects from the name, Hilton. Room and location were great.
Amazing room. Very clean. Friendly staff. High quality furniture.
Nicely styled, decent location, really big rooms. Exec lounge was great
Lovely building. Lost a couple of marks due to sluggish service. This was both at dinner and breakfast. The lights in the room were odd if you put the bathroom light on then lights in the main room would come on.
Lovely. Did wait about twenty minutes to get served at the bar though, not due to queuing guests, was just ignored for a while.
The Service was great! Especially the welcome was great, gave me a nice restaurant recommendation in nearby
Bar area was quiet on a Friday night, which was a welcome respite from the loud, crowded pub scene. Drinks selection was minimal, but service was prompt.
Beautiful hotel, great location, amazing staff! Will definitely recommend and return!
Very poor cleaning regime, dissapointed
Great hotel and great staff who made me feel welcome from the second I stepped foot through the doors
Nice hotel in a good location and good facilities. Its a shane the parking is 40 pound a night.
Our favourite hotel in London, great cocktails, friendly helpful staff. Will go again
We had an afternoon tea there. It was good and not expensive as we booked an offer in OpenTable
Room was really nice, check in efficient and excellent service at breakfast
Lovely hotel with high standards of cleanliness and professionalism from staff.
Rooms are generously sized, front reception, bar and Resturant have been refurbished.
Great location, staff are friendly and happy to help- we have been using this hotel for our trips to London for over 4 years.
Clean and convenient. Booking was exactly as simple as it should be.
staff was helpful...
It's what you would expect from a Hilton; comfortable and efficient. Staff are very friendly :)
Exceptional customer service from a very welcoming team 😁
Good hotel, nice bar and restaurant, great location for conferences and exhibitions at the London Design Centre
The member rooms are least serviced. Single towel and no slippers in family rooms.
Clean classy hotel right in the heart of London with available parking (not free)
Brilliant location walking distance to Angel tube station, Great executive rooms, friendly staff
Comfortable beds, great room service and excellent location.
Good bus links, standard service
Good room, nice bed, very good breakfast, friendly staff.
Went for an afternoon tea deal which we got on Groupon ! Really lovely atmosphere and place. Staff were friendly and welcoming too :) Opportunity to take nice photos on their angel wing wall and halo light camera (on an iPad and can email photos taken to your email)
Nice clean simple hilton hotel in a great location. Recommended
It's a Hilton. Exactly what you'd expect. Validated parking is a plus.
Had a cream tea there with my sister, very enjoyable, staff very nice.
The management in this hotel is rubbish!
They couldn't deal with a simple complaint!
Really disappointed😏
Great location, one stop from London Kings Cross. Friendly staff, easy travel using Angel station.
Visiting for a course. Environment great and service, including a meal was excellent.
Great hotel, great staff. Location ideal for getting anywhere in London.
Nice hotel, very well located. Nice rooms and service.
Really nice hotel, rooms was clean and staff was really nice and friendly
Great location, well appointed room, fantastic breakfast!
Lovely modern hotel, very clean and and a good location for transport and local services.
Had a few minor problems during check in, otherwise, would recommend.
Great rooms, service, bar, food and service. Can't fault it.
Lovely hotel
This is in a great location, nice staff, great corner suit with a good bed. Great for a discoidal trip to London
I had a good visit to the hotel. Superb neighborhood also.
Bit tired and in the middle of a refurb I think but great staff who really did their best and delivered a fantastic service
Good spot for a business meeting, free WiFi and strong signal that is good enough to login to VPN.
Great team at the hotel.
Nice clean room and friendly service. Great views from window.
The room was lovely and clean. Great shower and really comfy bed. Fantastic breakfast too!
it was our first stay at the Hilton Angel Islington London. We fell in love with the location, the staff and the surroundings. We have never felt more comfortable in London. We'll come back as often as we can.
Beautiful hotel. Nice location friendly staff. The only Hilton that have the executive lounge open. I stayed in 4 during my time in London
Subtracting one star because there was a dead spider on top of my food when I ordered room service. Other than that, excellent hotel.
Great location by a part of Islington that has a great buzz.
Close to connections to all parts of London.
Calm and comfy inside, with lovely bar/restaurant.
Compared with other places I've recently stayed at I'd say this was expensive for what you got and the place does feel like it could do with a refresh. I'd certainly look at other options if back in this area as I'd not score so well on value for money. However, it was a pleasant and comfy stay.
On arrival, the receptionist was welcoming and friendly. She explained all the lockdown restrictions clearly.
For a London Hotel, my room was spacious, spotlessly clean and in good decorative order. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was clean and the water hot. Everything you want for an overnight stay.
Many thanks to the staff for making my stay so comfortable!
Perfect location for visiting the Business Design Centre and The skinny Kitchen as literally opposite! We watched a Prince tribute band and had a great night, talented band members!
Hotel is clean and spacious, comfortable bar/lounge/restaurant area. Good selection of food on the menu and afternoon tea available. Car park underneath with steps leading to hotel entrance, £1 hour with hotel token.
The Hilton Islington was excellent. Went for a tea for 2. The staff were superb, service first class, so clean and tidy. I would highly recommend ot and definitely go back again.
This was my first time staying at the hilton and you managed to debit my account twice. The £138.00 is still showing up in my pending transactions. Not sure how anyone can make this mistake. This is not good and I am not happy about this.
Superb hotel. Fantastic breakfasts. Great service from all the staff. Highly recommended.
Lovely hotel. Had afternoon tea on arrival at the restaurant...perfect.
Comfortable beds and good facilities.
We had afternoon teas here. Bought a groupon voucher. Great value for money. Food was fab. Staff were attentive and helpful. Toilets were clean and tidy as were other areas of the venue. Would definitely return. Recommend a visit.
Overall excellent. Great location. Great suite. Great staff. Executive lounge offering is not the best though.
Travelling from Canada to England in May 2021, I needed to quarantine for 10 days when I arrived. The hotel staff were excellent during the pre-booking of this stay as well as during the stay. A very big thank you to Delia who helped by providing information on COVID testing, airport taxi and choice of room. She was always professional, helpful and took time to answer all my questions. Her customer service exceeded my expectations. In addition, with having to have so many dinners ordered to my room, the kitchen staff were also very helpful with having a variety. The room was spacious, clean and well-equipped. I definitely appreciated the window that opened. With my successful "Test to Release " on Day 5 I was able to come and go and they were always friendly and professional. This is the second time I have stayed here and is my choice of where to stay in London.
Lovely hotel in the heart of Islington. Wonderful staff, the room was a little small and faced onto private decking but it wasn't a bother with the modesty curtains drawn. Great price and location makes this an ideal stay spot.
Great room and friendly staff. I will give them 4 stars because i was not happy with the gym, very dirty, used it at 22:00 and 8:30am the next day and it wasnt cleaned(dirty towels, dirt on the treadmills where you put your bottles, no hand sanitiser or cleaning wipes,I had to bring my own)
It was a mediocre experience especially because they provide room service once in 3 days quoting the pandemic.
The location was fantastic and close to station.
Had an amazing time here. Yana at the restaurant was great. Very personable and welcoming. Delia at the front desk is helpful with a great laugh. Rooms modern and clean. The Asian lady housekeeper on our floor (2nd) was very helpful too. Gold member lounge was great. Angel wings for pictures a plus. God bless.
Beautiful location, amazing staff & very helpful. Air conditioning in the room was hard to understand and couldn’t get cooler than 18 deg (for the rare days in London). Very well adapted to Covid but had some card issues with their systems.
Clean comfortable rooms. Great selection at breakfast. Conveniently situated
The room was very nice and great value and really well located. The bed was so very comfortable, and I had 2 great night's sleep! Which is the most important part. Also there is a useful little fridge in the room.
We didn't get any information from the front desk on arrival... Later we learnt we were supposed to get a welcome letter with details about rooms cleaning and other services.
WiFi was slow but ok for email and a light googling.
This Hotel is ideally situated in London. Only 7min walk from the Angel tube station. Polite and friendly staff and hotel room clean and fresh. Breakfast was included in our price, food delicious and freshly cooked.
A lively hotel just a few minutes walk from the Angel underground. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially the Italian gentleman. We had the breakfast included which was very worth it. Would definitely return
Quality accommodation, attentive staff no matter how busy they were. I will definitely return. Thank you Hilton!
Room is comfy but a few niggles , shower doesn't work , keys keep deactivating, the lights are just bizarre and you need a degree in electrical engineering to work them out
Good location and helpful staff.
Space to open two suitcases. Lots of cigarette butts in the area outside the front door.
spacious rooms, just a shame when on checking in we were given a room that was already occupied and after no more than 10minutes in our replacement room did another guest try our door as she had been allocated the same room as us!!
Went for afternoon tea and everything was brilliant, from the food to the staff. We were greeted by a member of the team, her name was Queen, and she was very attentive and checked up on us regularly. Highly recommend this hotel for afternoon tea!
Great Gluten free afternoon tea in a relaxed atmosphere with attentive staff.
Great hotel, would recommend it for a weekend break in London
Unfortunately this is what I’ve experienced after my stay at the Hilton Islington. Nearly 200 GBP is being held with no reasonable explanation, given I've paid in full, stayed for 4 nights and my room had maintenance issues. I won’t be staying with Hilton again as this makes no sense. Poor experience and no regard for customer retention.
Great location, staff, food. Ideal hotel for business and leisure.
Brilliant hotel, great breakfast , very clean
Comfortable place and friendly staff, well placed yet quiet. We stayed two nights and was somewhat miffed to find that the fee does not include having your room cleaned or the less than generous two bags of complimentary tea replenished.
Good location, clean and comfortable. Chose a room with a view but this was unavailable on arrival so placed in a room looking out at more of the hotel.
Very comfortable room, great shower, but the sink drained really slowly and the water never ran cold.
Understaffed, Aircon didn’t work, no water in the room, queued for breakfast to find out it had all gone and would have to wait even longer
Won’t stay again unless they up their game and start updating rooms and staffing better
Afternoon tea very good. Good service and calm place
A lovely hotel in a great location. Our room was really nice, clean, nicely furnished and decorated with everything we needed. Also a good shower and very clean bathroom. I would give it 5 stars if it didn't charge £13 per day for wifi which I think is ridiculous!
Completely messed up billing and payments from my guests, currently chasing over £600 of payments taken off my card, shambles
Shame no one told me my room would not be made up unless I asked. Got into room to find no bed made, no coffee or tea, no dry towels.
Lovely staff, really nice hotel, shame about the room being dated.
Nice stay with family of four. Staff was exceptional and helped us work through a few changes in travel plans and even allowed us to remain in an upgraded room. Breakfast quality and selection was exceptional with very attentive staff. This will probably be the hotel of choice next time we are in London.

Elegant and stylish Hilton Hotel with helpful and knowledgable staff. Check in was efficient and friendly and I had a great room on the 3rd floor with views across the city. Breakfast was served in the restaurant area - a large bright room - and was a buffet with everything imaginable. The staff were attentive and made breakfast a very pleasant experience.
The hotel is located close to Angel tube station and provides easy access to a huge range of bars and restaurants on Upper Street
Lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable as expected. The beds are so comfy and they are very aware of the risks of coronavirus and there are alcohol gel machine around the hotel and special things put into practice to keep us safe.
Me and my Fiancè would definetly stay here again.
10 / 10 😁
We had a great experience at this hotel, lovely staff, clean hotel and delicious breakfast! Will definitely be back.
Staff and place bare absolutely fantastic... The food and service are exactly what you would expect from the Hilton chain
Great service, fantastic location. Good for business and leisure.
The room was lovely, but to arrive at a hotel at 4pm with no access to any sort of food other than Chinese was strange and disappointing. They couldn't even offer a sandwich....We ended up going to Tescos and having a picnic in the bedroom
good service, clean room, but the bed was like a brick.
The shower was amazing though.
Great location, great staff, great value, bland decor, perfect for a solo business or leisure stay. Just avoid the 100's of food delivery guys streaming in and out of the lobby all day.
The hotel wasn't really Hilton standard, I have stayed in much better. You really are paying for the name. The room was just OK and could probably do with modernising. Limited menu options. Location was good.
Perfect area and stay for our first break away together since lockdown.
A nice place to stay for one night. Bed very comfy and all areas nicely decorated. Some areas where repairs or wear are showing, but wouldn't stop me returning. The breakfast was OK, less selection than what you would normally expect and breakfast area was slightly cramped. Being there with a group of around 12 people after a wedding, we were all surprised the bar closed at 12. Overall a comfortable stay, although I have given a 3 star as experience was below that I have with staying at Premier Inn's which would be our default choice.
Stayed here last weekend. Great room, really spacious and super comfy bed. Location was ideal, around all the main restaurants. Staff were super friendly. They were late in bringing are drinks up to are room but gave free cokes for the minor inconvenience.
Very nice but pricey business oriented hotel located directly adjacent to the Business Design Centre. Very convenient access to conference I was attending. I have stayed here many times and never disappointed. Great breakfast in the morning and the other food is generally pretty good as well.
The room was very spacious for two people, and had a nice bathroom. The breakfast buffet was very good with both English and continental style of breakfast. There was one minor hickup at breakfast with pancakes which were completely dried out due to the heat lamp. This only occurred for the last two pancakes of one specific batch.
Furthermore, there was an issue with requesting a third party payment for which it took three days, due to 3 people giving different information and instructions, to come to the conclusion that this was not possible as it requires to be requested 5 days in advance.
This was our first time staying in this particular Hilton and we were absolutely delighted with the hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, polite and professional. Check-in was quick, as was check-out. The room was well designed and tastefully decorated. Each room has a 42" tv with lots of channels which is important after a day of sightseeing in busy London. The bathroom is clean and modern. I would definitely stay again and would recommend it with no problems whatsoever. Ps. The breakfast was amazing. Plenty of choice, hot or cold, and well presented too.
Really exceptional hotel, the best hilton ive stayed at in london if im honest. Room was spacious (especially for london hotels) and both bedroom and bathroom were immaculate. We were there for the theatre and there were tube stops and enough ubers nearby to make it a nonstressful trip. Staff, from receptionists to the servers for breakfast were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful with all our requests. Executive lounge and restaurant area were clean and managed well during the new covid restrictions to. Cant fault anything with the hotel. The bed was comfy and breakfast was first class, what more can you ask for?
Friendly service, easy to book, clean and smart rooms with a safe included for personal items. Well equipped bathroom with quality complimentary toiletries. Only note of issue would be the bed which for my partner's taste was slightly hard, but this is entirely personal preference. Great stay, and would happily stay again!

This isn't one of the more modern hotels, but we had a wonderful stay. The first night the room was quite warm and the AC didn't work, but after one mention to the front desk in the morning, they were all over it.
The manager was always attentive and even offered us breakfast due to the AC issues, but we declined as we weren't seeking compensation from it, just to have it fixed.
The entire staff was always so prompt and willing to help. Asking the front desk for a taxi, they had one to the door in minutes.
I'd stay here again without hesitation.
A very good hotel in a perfect location if you need to be in the lively part of London of Islington. Rooms are very well designed for both stay and work, plenty of storage, lots of plugs and contemporary design. Breakfast is excellent and very affordable, don't miss it! Despite some booking issues crew was very accommodating and solved the problems promptly and in a very satisfactory way. We sure will be back.

Hotel is nice enough.
Room on first floor has no view, but is very tasteful and modern.
Bed was very firm, which I prefer
Shower power is 6/10 at best
Shower has had a leak at some point and has left the paint flaking on the bedroom wall
Parking is very close but pretty expensive
Wi-Fi is not free which is really annoying, £12.95 per 24hrs
Staff are lovely
Annoying red light from smoke detector is flashing above the bed all the time
Breakfast is good
Ground floor room was very quiet
Air con provided good heating
Had afternoon tea here. The food was delicious. The service could have been a little better. I had coffee instead of tea, and there was a long delay in topping up my cup, and it wasn't busy. The hotel is lovely, quite modern and very clean.
Nice hotel. Thickness and quality of duvet very poor, bar cloased, on a Saturday night at 10pm!
Our room was very comfort, the bed was amazing. Breakfast on the other hand was not that good, without any healthy options. Another thing about our room: we had an issue with the light in the bathroom and they couldn’t fix it. All and all we a had a very pleasant stay.
Amazing hotel in Angel. Very surprised of the quality of the hotel and I do have to say staff is very friendly and helpful.Short trip after train ride and before flight but highly recommend close to kings Cross station.
This excellent hotel is located at the Angel Islington next to the Business Design Centre about a 5 minute walk from the Angel tube station. The recently refurbished hotel has beautifully appointed rooms well equipped with A/C, TV, tea & coffee facilities, with either bath or shower etc. Upon arrival I received a warm welcome at the check in as a diamond member. I had checked in online before my arrival and my room was beautifully prepared, with bath robe, slippers luxury toiletries, and mineral water, and even a small bottle of red wine. The executive lounge is open 24/7 for tea, coffee, snacks, and soft drinks, and from 6-8 p.m. for drinks and canapés for diamond members. The breakfast is full buffet with something for everyone (the coffee is exceptionally good). A full Al La Carte menu is available in the restaurant for dinner, afternoon tea, etc. and is reasonably priced. Just to add the service provided by all the staff goes above and beyond, and made me feel very much at home and appreciated as valued guest.
