Clean, warm, quiet, comfortable hotel within walking distance of O2. Maddy on the reception was helpful and friendly regarding a request for a paper map. Would recommend. Breakfast good standard and will definitely stay again. Thank you

We stayed over while attending an event at the O2 arena, which was just a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The staff at reception was very helpful and friendly, they did an excellent job. The room was nice and clean, the bed was really comfy. …

It never happened as our gig on Sunday was cancelled today as the roof blew off of the O2 Arena. Despite not having to, this hotel gave me a 100% refund within a half hour of asking. I have used your othe London hotels and they were great. You are now my go-to chain for travel. A***** customer service. Well done.

We were staying for one night to go to the theatre in London. The hotel is easily accessible by public transport, about 45 mins at busy times. It’s in easy reach of the O2, if you’re attending a concert. The room was clean and comfortable. …

The reception staff were very helpful. The rooms were clean and the hotel quiet. Good location. The breakfast room was busy and I was concerned about majority of people not wearing masks. I would prefer mask wearing to be compulsory in the hotel public area.

Good proximity to O2 arena about 15 min walk. Reception staff very friendly, clean and comfortable rooms. Only gave 3 stars because my room was located next to a storage cupboard so you could hear staff getting supplies all the time was quite noisy. That is my only reason for 3 stars.

After a long train journey and a short walk it was great to get checked in quickly by a friendly face and then even better when served by a lovely member of staff. …

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Greenwich to attend an event at the O2 Arena. Great location with a 15min walk to the arena. Comfortable room, television, plenty of room space, in room tea/coffee facility, hairdryer, iron, ironing …

Nice stay at this hotel again.
Been here several times for visits to the O2 Arena. Always get friendly service and never had any problems with the rooms. …

My boyfriend traveled from the US to London to visit his sister in uni in Greenwich area. The hotel was walking distance to her dorm / residence and walking distance to the Jubilee line as well. (Probably about 10 minute walk max) Upon …

Stayed 2 nights £40 to park the car! Rooms are a reasonable size but there are no shelves or drawers. Where do we put our change of clothes?

Nice hotel in the perfect location for our needs.
Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and tidy.
There is a bar area but I did not use this facility.
Breakfast was included and that is where marks are lost.
This a self serve buffet as most hotels offer, however this one was poorly stocked.
Jam variety was non existent, the croissants were flat and stale, the bread rolls had clearly been warmed then left so they were hard. The mini muffins were quite dry.
The bacon was barely cooked and quite fatty (fat had not been rendered), sausages were aneamic and all of the hot items were barely warm, so adding to a cold plate gives cold food quickly. The toast option was on the opposite side of the room so I missed it first time round and despite being a fairly busy dining room only one of the toaster conveyor unit was switched on
The coffee was not particularly pleasant.and the fruit option was limited to oranges (which you could not peel and needed to be cut but no suitable knives to cut them with).and they were quite bitter, the option was semi ripe bananas.
So in summary, all was great other than breakfast.

Great location for the 02 just a 10min walk. Lovely friendly staff and exceptional clean comfotable room. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Will definitely book again.
A.
Location of hotel is good. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast selection was good. Staff attentive and friendly.
Parking fee is £20 if you need stay over 6 hours which adds £20 to nightly stay!!

My daughters stayed there for the Jingle Bell Ball
The location of the hotel is great and it’s really clean. Do not stay there if you have any specific dietary requirements as the staff aren’t able to tell the …

Hotel is in a great location if your going to the O2. Stayed recently for an event, and it only took 10 minutes to walk to the arena however the price was increased massively, I’m assuming due to there being an event on, however I don’t think this is fair. We paid over £150 for that room, but if we went two weeks later, when there wasn’t an event on, it would have only cost £80. I don’t think it fair they can inflate the prices that much. The room was very basic for the price paid. Water pressure for the shower was awful. The fact we had to pay extra for breakfast wasn’t a problem… until we saw what ‘breakfast’ was. Some cereal, some croissants which were stale and ‘make your own roll.’ The rolls were hard, I’ve never seen bacon so white and a member of the staff was seen mixing fresh scrambled egg in with the old egg which had been out for hours, which is absolutely disgusting.

I have stayed here on numerous occasions and never had any bad experiences, it’s a very standard Holiday Inn Express. The location is convenient, rooms are clean and well kept, there’s plentiful parking onsite and rates are reasonable most of the time.

A good stay and felt safe - plenty of parking, rooms a little tired but clean and tidy.
Staff friendly and happy to see you. …

Loads of positives about the hotel.... location, staff, cleanliness etc.
I needed a desk but the room layout didn't allow for a desk so had to work with laptop on my lap. Doing actual writing/drawing was awkward.
The vegan meal size was tiny. It was tasty enough, but small.

Perfectly situated for the O2 this is a typical HE Express. Can be good value , but hike prices when gigs are on.. good luck getting a cheap night when Abba holograms are playing in 2022.. breakfast was good , and staff were friendly.
Batteries in remote were flat, and the windows of our room were shockingly dirty (outside).. not a nice touch tbh.
But overall okay
Parking is £20/day which is standard for London.. bit pricey for Greenwich but hey ho.. it was easy enough to pay that extra charge.
TVs are ancient and need updating.

Perfect place to stay, for the O2 and to explore. Just far enough out but close to everything. Rooms are comfortable and clean.
c. m.
Use this hotel 2x a year , rooms comfortable , breakfast reasonable , staff friendly and pleasant . Plenty of car parking and close to O2 cable car and boats …..let down this year by issues with no hot water for showers and only one lift …

£20 Parking fee
Pros:
The main bed was clean and comfortable
Walking distance to the O2, the main reason to book to be honest.
The bathrooms in the rooms were clean and adequate.
Night staff were freindly and accomadating.
Cons:
Stayed in a family room, it is absolutely tiny. It was a regular room with couch bed squeezed in.
Couch bed very small, probably OK for two under 10's to stay in.
Free breakfast until 9.30, decimated by 8.50, a few people had a moan and breakfast was begrudgingly topped up.
Communal area's are grotty as were the communal toilets, no soap, no hand towels, no toilet roll and smelly.
Would I use again ?
Yes, if I was going to the O2 Arena.
What would I change ?
I would lower my expectations
£20 Parking fee

Excellent rooms. Clean and spacey. 15 mins walk from the O2 and North Greenwich station.

Stayed here for one night before the London marathon. A twenty minute walk to the starting zones - very convenient. Limited food options from the bar on a weekend - pizza only. Wasn’t welcomed as a iHG rewards member so no complimentary beverage unfortunately. Overpriced for one night.

Standard Holiday Inn with free breakfast and WiFi. There's a bar and a lounge too. Hotel has good service with lots of surrounding area views. Ample parking with wheelchair accessibility. Security Guard present in the car park and the building. Hotel is on the first floor above a very popular Chinese restaurant on the ground floor. Hotel entrance is past the Chinese restaurant through a wheelchair accessibility door or a revolving door. Once in the lobby, there is a set of lifts and spiral flight of stairs leading to the main reception area on the first floor. There's a Pizza Hut, Burger King, Odean Cinema, Leisure Centre, shopping centre and a park at walking distance.
First floor main reception can be a struggle to get to. Interior of stairs, bar and lounge in general is darkened theme and at times seems grubby. There's a huge big over filled skip full of rubbish sitting in the car park 🙄 Train and Tube Stations are slightly at distance. Did not see any bus service or closeby links. Hotel is very close to a busy and noisy A Road.

Great location for O2. Staff helpful. Breakfast good, bed comfortable but big stain on carpet at side of bed and window frame was all rotted
C.
Brilliant hotel. The staff are lovely! Had a good nights sleep and was a short walk to the O2
S.
Would stay again but staffing issues had a rolling effect on the room standards. However staff member was able to turn experience around from just providing great service
A. P.
Ok for short stop overs. Pleasant staff and comfortable rooms. Beware parking is extra and costly and a very average breakfast is included.
F.
The hotel is located in a very good location. The management team seems quite professional. Anyone would have a comfortable stay.

A good 3 stars hotel.Very close to the O2 Arena ,about 10 min walking .There is a car park ,it is £20 for a day(24h).

We were completely satisfied with our stay. The staff were particularly helpful with booking another room in advance of next stay next year.

This hotel is in a perfect location for a London trip. All the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Nice spacious room. Very comfortable bed. Clean. Shower nice and hot. Great location for greenwich. Air con (a little noisy.) Its right by the main road but really didnt hear the traffic apart from the odd exceptionally loud motorbike.

Stayed here before. It's great for where we want to be. It's so easy getting into the heart of London too, either by tube or bus.

I had a lovely experience with the Lady working in Dining area name Simmi.she gives personal attention to each and ever person in her area.she was outstanding and always asked if everything was ok,do you need anything also after you finish your food she would ask how was the food .thank you Simmi for everything you did.

I'd like to thank all staff for an amazing stay at your hotel. The cleanliness and care that has been applied to the building is second to none. Especially during this current cocid crisis I do jot fee any more could have been done to …

Attended a first aid session here, the hotel is average, didn't give the vibes of a great place. Nearest restaurants or cafes are about 5 mins walk. The area itself is a bit industrial and close to the highway making it less accessible to local shops or streets.
You're close to an ikea, BnQ and odeon cinema next door. Easily accessible by bus and has a decent amount of parking. Cleanliness in general can improve. Not close to many tourist attractions although it is well connected to public transport links.

This was the second time we have stayed here since September and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Our daughter has just started University at Ravensbourne and has accommodation at Scape, so this is perfectly placed for us to visit her. …

All my needs was met, especially during this pandemic. House keeping was making sure we had fresh towels and our Room was clean. Staff was amazing, just a phone call away if we had any issues. I would definitely recommend this hotel I have nothing negative to say, would definitely be seeing me again.
R.
Walking distance from the O2. Tube station also nearby
Hotel recently renovated. Rooms very clean. Housekeeping service very thorough.
A.
A good overall experience at this hotel, easy walking distance to 02. The only drawback is rooms at the front, facing a busy road, a little noisy in the mornings.
R.
We stayed at this hotel as we were going to see the 1975 at the O2 arena and we didn’t want to have to rush for the train. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk away from the arena and it’s really easy to find, we were booked in quickly and …
P.
This is far from being a high quality hotel but it meets a need in terms of its location with reasonably comfortable rooms and an adequate breakfast with limited choice
N.
The hotel and room was clean and comfy. I wouldve appreciated it if the staff could clean a table before we sit down. i cleaned it myself. Also the party goers and corridor smell of weed was a bit much for a Sunday night. Parking is very expensive but i was happy with the comp breakfast. Constantina on reception is very friendly.
Q.
Cant fault the service during my overnight stay. All staff members that i came in contact with were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and easy to get, dispite it being grab and go, but you still had a good choice to pick from during …

Stayed for 4 nights in July directly after lockdown was lifted. Whilst I understand that things are not back to normal within the hospitality industry, my overall experience was not great. 1. The breakfast situation was truly dire. 2. I am …

Great hotel. Very nice bedrooms and spotlessly clean. Modern bathroom with powerful shower. Lots of hot water. Towels lovely and soft and as new. Air conditioning in bedroom which is quiet and easily controlled. Tea and coffee making also available. Very nice complimentary breakfast with some hot choices.
Friendly and very helpful staff.
K.
Quiet and comfortable place, friendly staff. Breakfast selection could have been a bit better.
R. L.
Chinese restaurant has good variety of choices, plenty of tables & safe distance kept, some dimsums are better than others, need to reconsider if parking should be charged
S. F.
Not a bad hotel clean and tidy breakfast not the best not far from the O2 arena
K.
Great location to get to the many attractions in the area. Quick access to trains and busses. Good area and safe to walk. Rooms ok and typical of the hotel industry - comfortable bed, low noise, clean bathroom.
A touch small for a family of 4. it was a little tight moving around.

I wasn't expecting anything amazing from holiday inn express at is a budget hotel, however when me and my boyfriend got there we were extremely pleasantly surprised. Right from the beginning the building exterior was very modern and clean …

First of all isn't a bad hotel,at all.
But I have worked in IHG for the last 15 years & this hotel has not charming at all, nothing to do with what the company strive for. …

One down side being the smell of sick in the hallway

This is a nice hotel, not brilliant but nice. We booked it as we had an event at the O2, which was quite close, 20 minute walk, but down a busy road or 5 minutes in a taxi. …

average but could be better with the room rate it charged. The cooked breakfast was rather dry.
