Z. L.The hotel is located just a few metres away from the Thameslink rail, which makes it easily accessible for people travelling from Luton or Gatwick. The rooms are spacious with big beds, and a clever bathroom design. (You can separate the toilet from the rest of the bathroom with just one door.) It is equipped with a kettle, coffee and tea can be made in the rooms (filters and instant coffee included). The staff is one of the best, I've ever encountered, we went there even with problems, that are not their resort, but they solved it quickly. They are professionals, helpful and friendly. The breakfast: rich, tasty, and you can bring yourself as much, as you want for your daily business. I would definiatelly recommend it!

L. L.Nice hotel in a great location, not too far from the London Eye, Tower of London, etc. The room was a good size, very clean and offered a bath and shower. Breakfast was free but the bacon, eggs, sausages and beans were served by staff so big eaters may see the portions as small, ok for me though. Everything else was self-serve.
DO NOT use this hotel if visiting by car, it only has 7 to 8 parking spaces, which is not enough for a hotel with 617 rooms!!! So the chances of you parking when you arrive is virtually ZERO!!! And parking spaces cannot be reserved with a room. Parking has a rather large fee per day too unlike other Holiday Inn Express hotels outside of London.
t.Excellent hotel. New, clean, tidy, quiet. Super staff. Helpful and friendly. Lots of places to eat within easy walking distance. Globe Theatre and Tate Modern on doorstep. 5 minutes to nearest tube station.

A.The hotel it’s self was pleasant and well located. We would go back again as it was affordable and got what we paid for. However on arrivals 5pm we were informed our room wasn’t ready as the ‘bedding wasn’t washed’. But after waiting for 30 mins in reception we asked again but this time they made a completely different excuse that ‘we thought you were in a double room not a family room, so we haven’t set up the sofa bed/supplies’. (basically they lied to us). But kindly they did offer us each 3 free drinks per person. The room was nice and clean tho - we did all sleep well. The next morning, we went to breakfast which was included. It was pleasant- appart from the cooked food. There was no meat as the shop didn’t come so there was only eggs - which was disappointing.

T. M.With the hotel supposedly having gone through a renovation recently, I was disappointed to find the room interior looked about 20 years old. Whilst it’s maybe not a negative to be given the disabled access room (was not specifically requested), this particular bathroom left a lot to be desired. The sink and shower were both extremely slow to drain and the room had a look of being dirty without actually being dirty. Some of the handles in the bathroom had rust on them, see pictures. Whilst the bed was comfortable, a stain was discovered on one of the mattresses, see pictures. The lack of desk and chair was also a disappointment. So whilst I was able to do the essentials reasonably trouble free, sleeping and bathing, it did not live up to the expectations given through the pictures provided.
C. 9.The room was large, spacious and clean with a great wet room for the shower. Facilities included was fantastic and staff went above and beyond to make you feel welcomed (especially Rimisha on reception).
C.Yet another lovely visit to Holiday Inn, Southwark. The staff were so friendly on arrival and made special efforts to make my birthday weekend special for me.
