Reviews of Holiday Inn London - West
The room was spacious and clean. Location is excellent only few minutes walk to North Acton station.
We booked to stay a night on Saturday just gone. I would have given 5* but the young receptionist was a bit sloppy when we checked in and she looked as she didn’t want to be there. When we got to the room, there was only one bath towel so they could have been a bit more organised.
Rooms are weirdly designed with the heat almost never working properly. Service is good but a little slow.
Location is quite good for the price you pay with north acton station just a 5 minute walk away and decent places to eat nearby.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were all helpful, especially Tunde. The room was spacious and the serve-yourself cooked breakfast was good too. I'd definitely come back if I need a hotel in the West Acton area.
Lovely hotel, rooms were clean, beds comfy and large. The air con did its job and i had a great night's sleep here. Bathroom was more than sufficient and the shower was strong enough and nicely hot. There was a plug and a bedside table on both sides of the bed - simple things done right
Breakfast was standard with a reasonable pastry selection, fruit, cereal and english breakfast (altho the fried eggs could have a few done over easy on each tray rather than being all "snotty" on top)
The only comment i could possibly leave as a negative was that the lifts were slow, and the parking cost was £18 per night.
Very lovely stay, the staff are welcoming and very attentive. The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast if the morning was very good! The area is also very nice with a convenient connections both to Heathrow Airport and Central London. 5/5 would definitely come back here soon.
I had an excellent experience at Holiday Inn! Although my check-in was scheduled for 2 PM, I arrived much earlier at 8 AM, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me by providing a room free of charge. Nelly was absolutely amazing—her friendly and helpful attitude made my day. She ensured everything was seamless and made me feel so welcome. Highly recommend this location for its exceptional customer service and hospitality!
I’ve stayed here around 10 times in the last year for work. Never had a problem. All the staff I’ve encountered have been excellent, friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Amand at the bar too. If I stay for work in London, this is always the hotel I ask for.
The hotel would deserve a 4-star rating overall, BUT I was unpleasantly woken up by housekeeping at 8:59 AM on my check-out day (oddly, they never came to clean before noon on other days). I had worked late the night before and desperately needed rest, so this was really annoying.
The location is convenient—just a 5-minute walk to the Central Line and a 10-minute walk to the Elizabeth Line. The Executive King Room wasn’t particularly spacious, but it was adequate for one person or a couple. However, the shower design was weird, it lacked a door, causing water to splash out easily. Additionally, the room carpet had a noticeable black hole, which was a bit ugly.
Aside from these flaws, everything else was satisfactory. The breakfast was enjoyable with good-quality options, though it would have been nice to see some variety across days.
One thing to note: make sure you use the correct card to pay at check-in, as the hotel charges for the entire stay upfront—not just a deposit. They won’t refund the charge or allow you to switch cards later, so plan accordingly.
Handy for parking and staying if you want to visit London without driving in the city. Beds are constable and the rooms are decent. My only negative is that breakfast isn't great. Buffet food not cooked practically well.
I highly recommend this property. I stayed then with my partner and it was an enjoyable experience. The front office manager Abbas made our stay very special with his Brilliant customer service and welcoming smile. He shared so many recommendations of things to do and places to visit in the area.
We will definitely come back.
Thank you holiday inn team and thank you Abbas
Nice hotel, very clean throughout and friendly staff. We were apparently upgraded to an executive room but in all honesty, a standard Premier Inn room is nicer having stayed in one some days earlier.
I think the upgrade included complimentary refreshments in the refrigerator but these just comprised of 2 bottles of water, a bag of crisps and a 2 finger KitKat! I've added a photo of the executive chair, a bit worse for wear. The room needed a more comfortable lounge chair. As for the car parking, it's £18 for 24 hours but be warned - the car park is disproportionately small for the size of hotel. We arrived just after 1400hrs to find just 3 spaces left. A lot of parking was being used by railway contractors who seem to work nights, I counted 14 vans at the peak. People just park anywhere, including the disabled/blue badge bays. By 1600hrs it was all full. If you were travelling some distance, the thought of not securing a parking spot I would find worrying. Would I return? Not by choice but parking apart, it's a nice hotel.
We had a Very pleasant stay at this hotel. Clean rooms, good food and profesional, friendly personell. Highly recommended.
Great service. Mr. Noman Joseph made sure we were looked after. We are here on a business trip and was sat for lunch when Mr Noman made sure we knew what the dishes were that was being served. The other staff were also very friendly, greeting us along the way
Though a little distant from the city centre it is well connected by Tube (Central line, Acton North station) . The room size (rare for London Hotels!) and the good breakfast and the gym make up for the distance. I was lodged on the side opposite to the main highway and found it to be quiet and peaceful.
Will at the reception was particularly helpful when I checked in
I had to get my visa done today at the Algerian consulate and they asked me to print out some stuff and need cash as well, I went to holiday inn and the receptionist Céline was such a sweetheart although I didn’t stay there she helped me with printing and also had an atm machine there absolutely lovely staff and service.
Beautiful ambience, outstanding customer service, cheerful and helpful staff .|Cleaning was spot on.|Good variety of items for breakfast. |Ordered burgers and wings for dinner and it was the best i ever had .|Juicy and full of flavour .|Keep up the superb customer service.
This is an ideal location for a short break in London. The Tube station close by and it's a quiet ish area. The beds are very comfy and the staff are willing to go above and beyond to make your visit pleasurable, Thanks Katerina Vilchek. We will come back again when we see another show at the west end. :)
A great hotel, with live sports broadcasts in the sofa area to watch. Sachin's American coffee is delicious, very friendly, and I feel very relaxed here.
Great location as the underground walking distance. The quality of mattresses and pillows were bad. For 3 pax the room was cramped. At nite noisy.
I was greeted warmly and was also informed that I was upgraded which was a lovely surprise. The room was spacious and clean and the note in my room informed me of my member perks which was a late check out which I was also able to take advantage of. Overall, I was able to enjoy the location with the shopping centre a few stops away and also work in peace. These small upgrades really just made my day better and helped me plan my days.
stayed at Holiday Inn for one night, including breakfast, while renewing my passport, as it was conveniently close to my consulate. My experience was great—the room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth.
Breakfast had a good variety, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. The location was perfect for my needs, and I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area. Highly recommended!
No hot water first night stay, it was the first time ever in my holidays so far. My girl was really upset she was put shower gel and shampoo on it the water suddenly turned to cold. She was cried as she couldn’t wash it off and entire night she couldn’t sleep with uncomfortable feeling. The management should check the boiler regularly and shouldn’t happen. We had a really bad experience with your hotel
The hotel is generally okay, but it doesn’t quite meet the standard of a four-star property. The facilities feel a bit outdated, and the room became too dry when the air conditioning was on overnight, making it difficult to sleep comfortably.
I stayed there for 2 nights and the guest service staff is so good and well behaved.
Room and bathroom is very clean.
Really an amazing service and I enjoyed my stay at Holiday inn.
Highly recommended💯💯
Had a lovely night's sleep, checked in very late after a job at 3am with no issues. Started in an executive room. It was very spacious, had a big TV on the wall, a nice semi walk in shower with a decent sized bathroom. Good quality body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided and everything was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable and could only be described size wise as bloody expansive, 3 people could happily sleep in it.
I give 4 stars not 5, because of my stays in Park Plaza's and The Strand Hotel. That isn't to say this a bad hotel, far from it.
Rooms nice and clean. Good location not to far from Wembley stadium. Food in the restaurant was nice and breakfast was really nice with lots of options. Staff friendly and acomadating. Would stay here again. Nice hotel.
Easy to get to from north Acton tube station and well priced friendly staff only down side was ordered a twin room but was given a double bed and was with my son not ideal, if I had gone back down to reception they would of delt with it but as he my son was so tired and overwhelmed with the day we just put up with it breakfast was good with a fair selection
I stay in ihg regularly. This hotel is possibly the worst I have ever stayed in
The rooms are noisy. The doors don’t meet the floors which means noise can be heard from neighbouring rooms
The’s don’t work.
My room had food from the previous guest under the bed.
The checkin staff were disrespectful despite me reporting the problems they displayed no intention the support.

The hotel is nice and clean, the room was cleaned every day. the staff is nice, the breakfast is very delicious and plentiful, the check-in and check-out is very easy and fast and possible to leave the luggage there after check-out, if you still have time for sightseeing. The neighborhood is quiet, although there is a busier road nearby, but the soundproofing is very good, you can't hear the noise of the street in the room. This hotel was a good choice, we would like to book a room here again next time.
*****Location is fantastic! It's around 5 minute walk or less, from the Central line station at North Acton. There are grocery stores and shops like Dominos, Subway and even a korean store nearby. Area feels safe and not crowded but very close to tourist spots.
*****Service is 5-Star. Abibaya and Linoshka are very friendly and attentive. Lino in particular stands out. I remember her even from my last visit, she would always offer help and ask if you need anything, and always with a smile on her face. Food is 5 star. The restaurant in Holiday Inn definitely stands out. Their food is the tastiest especially cordon blue, far from the usual London blande menu! And the portion is huge! I always come back for cordon blue. Even their soup of the day is so tasty! I'll try fish and chips next, I heard it's also fantastic! I normally don't eat at hotels when we travel, but I make an exception for Holiday Inn London West in North Acton.I stay here for their food!
*****Rooms are cozy and clean. It's spacious. Toilets have good water pressure and hot water (which is a must in this London weather!) Bed is very comfy especially the pillows which are essential for a very good night sleep. Curtains provide good black out even at daytime so I always have a restful stay at Holiday Inn.
Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The service was good, room was spacious and comfortable, and Oleksa at the restaurant was a very friendly host... We really appreciated the proximity to the tube station... Definitely would stay again.
Stay was lovely! It was quiet, clean and all around pleasant would recommend for short or long stays in london. Super easy to get to the city centre :)
I’ve been staying here a while and I’m very impressed with the hotel and its staff’s. The food is great and at your table quickly. All of the staff are kind and helpful. Anand I got to know who is a true gentleman and happy to help in any way he can. All an all would highly recommend this hotel
The hotel is located near an underground station (North Acton/Central Line - so you can get to the center quickly), the rooms are clean and modern, we had breakfast in the hotel and in the evening we quenched our huge thirst and hunger at the great bar. We will be back - thanks to the whole team
Fantastic customer service. Warm welcome. The room was very clean and had everything you need for a business trip. Lots of healthy options in the restaurant. Would definitely recommend for business travel.
I recently visited hotel, we spent few nights there and I must say that hotel’s room was very clean and comfortable. Good staff service. Especially a girl her name was Abhinaya she was incredibly helpful starting from the reception she was welcoming attitude throughout my stay.
We booked this hotel because we needed easy access to the city. Using the underground beside the hotel was a breeze. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room we booked was very clean and quiet for our small children. The breakfast was yummy and we had a special cheese omelette made for us by the chef. All in all we will be booking here again and recommending it for anyone who wants to visit London and is not afraid to use the underground. Kais at reception was super helpful and could not do enough for us, we felt like VIPs. Also Violeta was so kind to us during our stay and was looking after us like a Mother would do. Thank you for being so kind.
We have stayed at this hotel 4 times now and every visit is consistent and good. From the welcome at reception to the bar and restaurant staff you are always greeted with a warm welcome. The rooms are clean, tidy and well equipped. It is convenient for us as we have to visit Hammersmith hospital on a regular basis. The staff always book us a taxi and ensure we are ok. We can recommend this hotel with confidence.
Thanks to Herbert, Tomas and the team. For such a busy hotel you really know how to look after individuals and that is very much appreciated.
Close to North Acton Station and 30 minutes train ride to Heathrow, perfect hotel for London vacation. Nice rooms and friendly staff. They have a restaurant for breakfast for a fee during check-in.
Ideal stay for a night and easy link into London. Staff were extremely helpful in trying to get us parked, which is the only issue for this great hotel: not enough parking. Not sure what we would have done if we hadn't managed to park, but we did so all was good. Will definitely consider staying here again.
The hotel person was most kind I've ever met. He asked me which I prefer lower or upper floor, and I chose upper floor, then he afforded the highest floor. The view was fantastic! I could see my son's University accomodation. And more, I could see the big rainbow! I'll never forget the scenery. The room was perfect, too!The room, the bed, the window, everything was big and fashionable and comfortable. I'll come back to this hotel every summer.
This hotel is in a great location in central London with easy access on the Central Line tube stop (North Acton). Room was amazing, staff fantastic. Highly recommend it 😁
I'm a regular at this hotel due to its location to Central and West London. The staff are friendly, the food is excellent with a wide variety to suit all tastes and the rooms are clean.
Hello, I stay at the hotel frequently for business purposes. Having been allocated a room on level 07 top floor of the hotel, having only one lift operating for a prolonged period has been a problem ,. Taking the stairs to lower levels is ok but level 07 is a stretch!
5 min walk to tube station. Nice cafe and communal areas. Comfortable bed and clean room. There was a fridge, which was useful. Bathroom sink was stainless steel and felt a bit public-toiletesque, but that's just personal taste.
The downside was other guests. I was in a room near a group booking and between 6am and 6.45am was disturbed by people talking really loudly in the corridor, knocking (banging) on doors and what sounded like trying to get people to wake up. Well, it worked for me which was a shame as I didn't need to be awake until 9am! I would double check that I wasn't near a group next time.
Absolutely liked everything about this hotel. From delicious dining options to cozy rooms with stunning views, everything exceeded my expectations. The staff was accommodating, and the amenities were great.
Tomas and Goksel were very helpful and their customer service was outstanding 👏
Lovely and welcoming, rooms are clean and accessible. The staff are great, Leslie in particular, very professional and friendly. Looking forward to my next stay.
Not the best location for dining or entertainment options, but there is a Tesco nearby and a few Lebanese options within a half mile walk. My biggest complaint about this place was they had a never ending stream of student groups staying here. Being kept up until 3am with children running up and down the halls all and elevators and making noise all night long is simply unacceptable and a hotel really needs to make a minimal effort to keep that under control. The rooms themselves were hot in the winter even if you turned of the heat, but you could open a window so that helped a lot. The bed was comfortable and the hotel bar food was way better than I expected.
