R.This place is the best hostel I've stayed at to date! All of the staff were super nice and amazing, like literally every single one of them. The free day tour to Portobello Market was so cool. We played cool drinking games. Then went out to fun nightclub. 10/10 I would recommend this hostel to anyone coming to London! 🙌🏾🇬🇧
L. W.Couldn’t recommend this hostel more!! They offer a free tour everyday, where you can meet awesome people and wander around the city. After that, they have a FREE dinner every night followed by drinking games and a bar/club. The staff are so much fun and so helpful. On top of this all, it is a great location 6 minute walk to the closest tube station and surrounded by bus stops which connect to all different parts of London. I really had a great time and got the full London experience!

The dinner was very tasty and the night activities were pretty fun. I would totally recommend this hostel for either short or long trips and for both solo travelers and groups. K. F.Hands down best hostel I've stayed at, I didn't want to leave. The staff are amazing & so friendly, cooked yummy & filling vegetarian dinners & also ran great day tours. Going out at night was so much fun - would definitely recommend for solo travellers, you make friends so easily! All the facilities are kept clean, laundry service available as well as a locker room. Staying here is definitely one of the highlights of my trip.

I. P.Easily the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at, perfect for solo travellers! They run free day activities during the day(markets, landmarks etc) as well taking people out at night to different bars/clubs. Incredibly social staff who also make a free dinner every night at 8. Plus the location is in one of the nicest areas of London so close to the tube stations which makes getting around the city sooo simple. 11/10 :)
A. K.Hostel One is a perfect place for young travellers to stay if they want to socialise with lots of other like-minded, cool people. The staff (young people from all around the world) are super nice and helpful and they organise free diner, drinking games and party out every night. Additionally, free tours in different parts of the city are being offered every day. Probably the best place to make new friends in a short time.
Concerning the facilties - there was really nothing to complain about. Spacy new showers and the toilets seemed to be quite new as well. The rooms aren't special but were clean and good for sleeping.
Agreeing with many of the former reviewers, this is definitely a party hostel. If privacy and silence are super important for you, you should probably go for another place. For everyone else, and especially for solo travellers, I highly recommend this hostel and I will definitely come back.

A. M.The hostel was a first time choice i had made,never stayed in one before.However I was amazed.The hostel beds are comfortable,toilet is clean,kitchen is well equipped and the place is well heated and comfortable.
You get to meet really nice travellers and share so many stories and make new friends. The staff there were more than amazing they were not only accomodating with all our requests but it was a delight to talk to each one of them ya I have very very special thanks to the most amazing , helpful, decent girl I have eva seen her name is Rita I recommend to everyone going there to go ahead to her she is super professional and really super kind and helpful she will help you and guide you well .

Day activities, tasty free dinners and drinking games on the daily make it super easy to meet other solo travellers. B. R. T.Staying at Hostel One Notting Hill as a solo traveller was truly the best choice I could've made. Free family dinners, everyone is open to meet new people, and a great staff. You truly get to know everyone through the night activities. They have a calendar in which they have a morning activity and a night activity every day. A few cons I will note would be that there are only 2 toilets per floor. And I believe those are for 3-4 rooms of guests. I am unsure if it's only my floor, but it was pretty annoying when they were both being used at 3am. Also, the bedding needs updating. I am sure they will replace them as they are renovating. At the end, I really enjoyed using the garden, the kitchen, and meeting great people. If you want to meet travelers, this is the place to be.

Been here for 5 days and am loving it :) If you’re looking for a good time and a good party, this is the hostel to go to!!
C. Q.Has an incredibly warm, social atmosphere which is largely due to the free nightly dinner cooked by the staff, of which were very outgoing, welcoming and friendly. Definitely a party hostel aimed at younger travellers; every night of the week they go out to a different place, so if you enjoy introducing yourself to more people than you can remember, drink alcohol and enjoy going out to clubs then this is a great place to stay. The location is excellent in that there are Zone 1 Tube stations on the Central and Circle lines within a very short walking distance, and Paddington isn't too far away either. There's also a Sainsburys and a Coop also within a short walking distance if you need to stock up on anything. As for the facilities themselves, they definitely do the job and I did not have a single negative experience. If I had to nitpick and find negatives the ONLY ones are I'd say the showers have little room to put dry clothes and a towel (can just sling clothes/towel over the door) and the water sometimes drips down while you're getting your clothes on, and the pillows are a bit stiff (can just use your own clothes to soften). Overall, I would definitely recommend this hostel for the price (can get pricey on weekends), mainly for the great family and party atmosphere the staff create every night; I have some really great memories I won't be forgetting in a hurry.
J. T.This hostel is the best one I've ever stayed at! The beds are like clouds and the doona is so warm! Staff are very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms and showers on every level, they ar super spacious and have plenty of hooks for your towel and clothes. Big kitchen and common area downstairs and it's in a great location, short walk to heaps of awesome cafes and Notting Hill colourful houses and Portebello market. I would definitely stay here again!

Its a really great inviting environment and they provide a lot of extra for the guests with free walking tours and trips for nights out everyday on a weekly schedule and free dinners! They're also in a great central location.
M. S.The location and the price of this hostel is great. We never felt like we were out of the way and didn't break the bank staying here. We never ate the free dinner as we were always out but that is included. The front desk attendants are very friendly and accommodating. I would stay here again next time I visit London.

W.Probably the most incredible hostel I've stayed in, great staff, the location is perfect considering its a short walk to Hyde Park, Portobello Road and the tube that connects you to central London. Free dinners breakfast has a great variety, the staff take you at every day and every night, wonderful for sólo travelers or people looking for a fun time. I stayed in feb/March and again in June, can't wait to visit once more!

A. L.Wow! Best Party hostel ever! When I came to Notting Hill, I was just a young, blind, German girl who didn't know what to expect. After Hostel One Notting Hill, I am a 50 year old German WOMAN who can see clearly. Shoutout to Gianna, Lily, Shiv, and Hugo for making my life amazing!
J. B.The bed was ok (4-bedroom), but shaking whenever one of us four was moving. The bathrooms, especially the one on the 4th floor, were good. They have an amazing living room/ kitchen area to meet people or just recover. Coffee & Tea is for free, a basic breakfast was 3£ which I think is a good deal having in mind how expensive London is.

L. B.(Translated) A very nice hostel for young people who want to explore London with their peers from all over the world. The hostel is not far from the Notting Hill Gate and Bayswater stations, from which you can easily get to the most important places with the underground. Buses also stop here until late at night. The rooms are solid for a hostel and, above all, always clean. The volunteers organize day trips to some interesting places and add to a great experience. In the morning there is a sufficient breakfast for 3 pounds, in the evening a delicious vegetarian dinner for a donation. Then you get in the mood for the night in the club. This may not be the optimal experience for everyone since alcohol naturally plays a role, but everyone is accepted for who they are and is not forced to do something they don't want to do. For these reasons and many more, I would recommend this hostel to any young person who wants to meet new people. This is a real blessing, especially as a solo traveler.
I thought it was wonderful and definitely want to go back to this hostel.

Ein sehr schönes Hostel für junge Leute, die London mit Gleichaltrigen aus aller Welt erkunden wollen. Das Hostel ist nicht weit weg von den Stationen Notting Hill Gate und Bayswater, von denen man mit der Underground einfach an die wichtigen Orte kommt. Zudem halten hier auch noch Busse bis spät in die Nacht. Die Zimmer sind für ein Hostel solide und vor allem immer sauber. Die Freiwilligen organisieren Tagesausflüge zu einigen interessanten Orten und tragen zu einer super Erfahrung bei. Morgen gibt es für 3 Pfund ein ausreichendes Frühstück, abends gegen eine Spende ein leckeres vegetarisches Abendessen. Danach stimmt man sich auf die Nacht im Club ein. Dies mag nicht für jeden das optimale Erlebnis sein, da Alkohol natürlich eine Rolle spielt, aber jeder wird so akzeptiert wie er ist und wird nicht zu etwas gezwungen, was er nicht machen will. Aus diesen und vielen weiteren Gründen würde ich dieses Hostel jedem jungen Menschen empfehlen, der neue Leute kennen will. Insbesondere als Alleinreisender ist dies ein echter Segen.
Ich fand es wunderbar und will auf jeden Fall nochmal in dieses Hostel.

London has a lot of places without lifts and this is the case. 개인적으로는 좋았습니다. 생각보다 방은 낡고 침대는 불편한 편이었으나, 4층의 5개의 샤워시설과 부엌이 좋았어요. 런던은 리프트가 없는곳이 대부분이고 이정도면 만족합니다. 낮투어는 무료(11시), 저녁은 8시에 채식으로 먹고 술게임이나 바투어나 다른 게하에서 놀더라구요. 전 영어를 어려워하는 친구랑 같이가서 참여는 못했지만 알찬 스케쥴인것 같아요! 근처가 밤에는 무서울줄 알았는데 대부분 호텔이라 치안도 괜찮았어요. 단지 공동생활과 엘베의 불편함을 감수한다면 좋은 곳입니다.
