P. D.A wonderful 4☆ hotel in the heart of Kensington. The staff were exceptionally hospitable. They helped in whatever way they could, especially David. We really enjoyed our stay in spite of the covid pandemic.
R. G.Stayed for 5 weeks with our 2 dogs and the staff made us feel so welcome! Tina gave us an incredible deal for our long-term stay with parking included too. All of the team at reception were super friendly and helpful, always happy to chat and made an effort to make us feel like special guests. Plus, Ahmed at the bar was always nice to chat to over a lovely drink. The garden is a nice space and I’m sure would be especially nice in the summer. We were originally in a standard room which was fine but were kindly upgraded to a two-level suite on the first floor. It was ideal for us with plenty of room, a comfortable big bed and super quiet / dark for a good night’s sleep. The location is great - quick walk to Earls Court station and a nice variety of shops and restaurants in High Street Kensington and beyond. We were so sad to leave but will definitely be returning soon!

P. P.We stayed here a week ago for a couple of nights. It was a surprise choice as part of the lastminute.com Top Secret hotels deal. We paid £73 per night for a standard room (no breakfast). The location wasn't too far from Earl's court tube station and was convenient to get into central London. The area itself had a vast choice of interesting eateries and amenities. The hotel has a nice lobby and restaurant area. The staff were really lovely and helpful. The room was a bit tired, but decent for the price. The room also had a fridge and tea/ coffee facilities.
B.The hotel is nice and staffs are fine. It’s just one thing here: They required £35 for deposit when we check in, and I paid £40 in cash since I only have two £20. They didn’t give me the change of £5 and I didn’t pay attention about it, I thought that’s how it works so I didn’t ask for receipt or asking anything. When we checked out today, they only gave me £35, I said I paid 40 but they told me to send an email to them and they’ll check the cameras if what I said is true. I don’t bother to chase this £5 back but it just feels not good to me.
L. G.3.5. Room was a good size. Price was great for the location. A little run down, bed not the most comfortable. Staff could’ve been more friendly. Only 1 towel in bathroom, a/c stopped working for a short time. It’s disappointing that staff don’t wear masks, but that seems to be a widespread issue in London.
M. M.My preferred hotel for London. The team was great here. Tina the manager and the evening helpdesk (forgot the name sorry) were so helpful. Very flexible with any request and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great and so were the kitchen staff as well as the housekeeping staff. Excellent all round, thanks!

Best team response I’ve seen from a hotel in a while - this even in in spite of being understaffed due to the pandemic. 😷 Breakfast was delicious! 🍳 🫖 Hot fresh options everyday. So delightful. The standard beds fell like small queens/full so be aware if you’d prefer a larger bed. Older hotel but well kept. Bus stops right out front and will deliver you to the nearest shopping district in under 10 mins. They offer free luggage storage and decent WiFi. Would recommend 10/10 experience.
B. P.We decided to give the hotel a try after finding incredibly inexpensive rates and decent reviews on this site.
The location is slightly away from the tourist sites, but the low room rates definitely make up for it. It's a straight shot on the Piccadilly Line from Heathrow in 30 minutes or so. Piccadilly Circus is only 10 minutes on the same line, and the District Line gets you to Paddington in 10 minutes as well.
We rather liked the 'local' feel of the restaurants and pubs in nearby Earl's Court. Tasty Japanese food at Kappa, Indian at Masala Zone, and the the King's Head pub is fab.
The lobby, restaurant, bar and lounge are nicely refurbished and the garden is lovely and peaceful. You'd never know you're so close to the busy Cromwell Road with the singing birds!
Staff are excellent - can't do enough for you. Daily housekeeping is available on request, unlike some hotels, and the level of cleanliness is very good.
The bedrooms are definitely past their prime, but decent enough, and that shortcoming is offset by everything else about the hotel. The air conditioning works, which isn't a given in this country.
Would absolutely again.

S. J.What an absolute gem of a find. We have just spent a last-minute getaway to London and we were lucky enough to find this amazing hotel.
We are a family of 4 (2+2) and this hotel provided a superb solution to our accommodation needs. We rang a day ahead of our stay to confirm the booking and the check-in process. The lady on reception (who I will come back to later) was so friendly and attentive. She offered us early check-in and advised us on the best way to check-in and drop our car off in the car park.
We arrived at the hotel the following day around 11:30 and as promised the room was ready at no extra cost and the car park was available. (we paid ahead for overnight parking, but we actually kept the car there for approx 30 hours at no added cost)
The reception lady was so friendly and we instantly felt welcomed and settled. Over the period of our stay, she was extremely attentive and always welcomed us with a big smile.
The room was unique in the fact that it had a mezzanine floor which had a sofa bed, toilet and TV. My kids thought it was superb, having their own little independent space and it benefited us later as we could watch our own TV downstairs after the girls had gone to sleep.
Location wise, it's perfect for the big museums (Natural History, A&V and Science) and it's a 10 min walk from Kensington High Street.
An amazing find and we will be sure to book again, next time we come to London.

J. A.Calm and cozy hotel not far from anywhere if you stay here. A bus stop at the doorstep and earls court station few minutes away. Somehow noises from other rooms could be heard especially when someone enters his room it sounds like opening your room! Maybe because it is too quiet. Another thing which is remarkable is that the hotel is a disabled-friendly hotel.

A major plus is the garden area at the rear of the hotel - a rarity indeed for a Kensington hotel.
Breakfast is beautiful too, and includes pastries, cereals, fresh fruit and a lovely cooked breakfast. These are all 'buffet style' , and are served in the spacious restaurant.
Our room (405) overlooked the garden and was very quiet at all times. All in all, a wonderful stay for a theatre trip for my wife and I, & we will certainly be back sometime.

M.clean but the requirement that all visitors to your room leave their passport or id at check-in is definitely a problem. this rule is stated in the hotel policy book. it states clearly that visitors are only allowed to visit the hotel guests with prior approval from the management. please look at the pictures in the review to see a clear photograph of this rule in print. the staff is very friendly and the place is clean and in a good location. it has a nice garden which opens at 9 a.m.

Just in front of the main door. Also metro station earls court is two blocks away so the hotel can be easily reach walking from metro station. The staff is nice, friendly and helpful, a special mention to Ana. Rooms are on the small size but are clean and well appointed. Buffet breakfast is very good but curiously on Sunday was best than the other days. Good option for staying in London.

K. B.Good hotel with a fine breakfast selection. Biggest plus was the helpful staff that tried to accommodate us as best they could. For some reason they all speak Spanish, which was a little odd. Shower head was hanging way too low, but otherwise we had a good time there.

M. H.Wow. Where do I start?! NH Kensington is by far the best hotel I have ever been to! Cosy and lovely bar area with comfortable seating and comforting music in the background. Hotel has a really nice and quiet garden, it appears that everything is well maintained and staying in the garden during the hot summer days with Aperol Spritz makes me always feel so special! Cannot recommend highly enough. Breakfast and Tapas is a foodie dream. Fantastic choice and quality. The octopus from the Tapas menu was served along with potatoes, aioli and some smoked paprika dressing. Now to the real stars of the hotel. The staff. At every turn you’re greeted by friendly and genuine staff members. The staff is lovely . I cannot wait to get back.
L. M.Overall was alright thanks to attentive staffs there. Many of the equipments in the room weren't working properly, such as a broken wall plug the one under the TV (they weren't able to fixed it or perhaps forgot all about it despite us been repeatedly remind them on this), clogged up sink but they fixed this, unflushable toilet but they fixed this, smelly room however they offered us a room replacement but after repeated requests, leaked shower head, funny looking security lock (using a chain with unsecured anchor where I even can simply remove the anchor screws with a spoon for serious), door lock not working properly, detached blinds but they fixed this.

T. M.It was our first experience in this kind of hotel. The whole hostel in fact is kept near spotless. The ***agers on duty were v helpful n gives good advice. It is in a great location and not so congested. I would say its perfect to stay in where you can trust like home.
I. K.We thoroughly enjoyed all 13 nights we stayed at the hotel. Perfect location near the tube station and bus stop. Definitely a four star hotel. Other than our room keycards deactivating about every day and a slight attitude from front desk staff when fixing it, all the employees were great. Rooms are pretty darn spacious for Europe. Breakfast is absolutely worth the cost. High quality delicious items. There is also a superstar on the staff who really impressed my wife and I. I wish I could remember his name but he is a younger, thin gentleman with glasses. I'm pretty sure he was working all day every day during our stay. We would wake up at 7:00 and he would be working the buffet and when we came back to the hotel for the night, he would be closing up the bar. I'm pretty sure he was pulling 14 to 16 hour days and he always served us with a smile and an upbeat attitude. Got us everything that we needed. If he isn't already, he needs to be a manager because his work ethic is second to none. Promote him now!
Again, it was a great stay and nh hotel will be our go to hotel on all our trips to London.

N.Really happy with this hotel. The lady behind the counter was really friendly and helpful. She gave us a map of London and circled all the highlights for us and gave us tips on where to go. Our room is spacious and it has a bathtub! Really good location as well because Earle Court Train Station is about 7 mins walk away. Plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Shopping, and the Natural History Museum was about 20 mins walk.

N.People are great, location is convenient ( bus stops in front of the hotel and underground in short walking distance) the breakfast is phantastic ( and worth every penny- you have a big choice, there is continental stuff as well as English breakfast) .. the only thing I would not repeat is to book a room with extra bed ( the price is great, but the bed is not comfy and due to the rare use very dusty leading to allergic responses) the main beds are great and super comfy.. the small cosmetics are great ( additional comment and fifth Star added as I Receiver a complementary package of the before mentioned cosmetics with a handwritten note... Proofing how great the people and this Hotel are)

O.The NH Kensington is a very good hotel. The staff are very friendly and try to make the impossible possible. We were due to a flight delay already too late, but were allowed to have breakfast anyway. If you looking for the hairdryer, look into the wardrobe.

El hotel está bien en general, las habitaciones son cómodas y bonitas pero faltan algunos detalles creo que tiene problemas con el mantenimiento, por ejemplo las baldosas del baño tenían espacios sin rellenar, nosotros estuvimos 4 noches de las cuales una primera noche lo pasamos fatal porque la calefacción era ruidosa y aunque pedimos una habitación con dos camas sencillas, nos dieron una cama doble y un sofá que se transformaba en cama que no era cómodo. El desayuno es muy variado y abundante, a destacar el jardín posterior del hotel que es verdaderamente precioso yo creo que no le sacan el suficiente provecho. Por el precio que pagamos y teniendo en cuenta la excelente ubicación del hotel, creo que podrían dar mucho mas de si, hay hoteles NH 4 estrellas en el mundo mucho mejores con mucho menos.

Colazione ottima, pranzo e cena buone, con una bella visuale nel giardino. La posizione ottima, con la fermata del bus davanti e a 5 minuti dalla metropolitana. Delante del hotel para el bus línea 74 que va a las zonas más turísticas y muy cercano (3 min) a estación de metro por donde pasan varias líneas inlcuída la que lleva a Heathrow (comodísimo!!). Destacar la atención en recepción y la amabilidad de personal. Este nh no es comparable a otros establecimientos de la cadena, me pareció un precio excesivo para las instalaciones; aunque hay que tener en cuenta que la hotelería en Londres es bastante cara. Pero por casi 300 euros/ noche 2 adultos y un niño me esperaba algo superior.
