We had a great stay in this hotel. The rooms are small but cozy, the breakfast was simple but nice and the staff was really nice and helpful. The location of the hotel is also perfect as it is really close to the underground.

I give this hotel five stars for the simple reason that Bobby and the other receptionist made myself and my three children feel very safe and welcomed. The rooms are basic but functional. The location is superb for getting around central London. For a budget hotel it offers everything you may need for a family for example - chemists, supermarkets, restaurants, shops, tube stations, bus stops, National galleries, Albert hall etc all in walking distance..... This hotel was exactly what I needed it to be - clean, convenient for local transport and friendly. The room was small but perfectly serviceable, and the bathroom and linen was incredibly clean. Staff were really welcoming despite my late check in times. The breakfast wasn’t quite what I was expecting, but I would use again.

Stayed here for 3 nights. For the amount paid the room was acceptable; with a comfortable bed, reasonable size room, nice and good sized bathroom, everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast was good and table service. Some variety would have been nice but for what we paid I will not complain. There was a deposit for remote controls for the TV and AC, I found it strange but OK. Basically if you are visiting London and need a place to rest your head while you explore the city during the day, this hotel is a good choice.

Location is perfect, its 5 minutes walk away from Earl's Court Station, its traditional old British building. Reception is open 24 hours but the main gate is closing around 11pm so you have to ring the door. My room was very small but its normal it depends how much you pay...

Stayed here for two nights, not the cheapest place I've stayed in London, but I was late in booking and possibilities were limited. I found it a bit to expensive based on what I got. It was ok enough for the two nights I stayed, and since I only went there to sleep. Any longer and I would have regretted not spending a little more on something better. Will never know why people keep having wall to wall carpets, no drain in the bathroom and nothing to prevent spilled water going out of the bathroom. Positive: - no issues with hot water in the shower, and the water pressure was great. No need stand under a trickle of water hoping to get wet. - great bed - relatively close to the metro Negative - bathroom was tiny - no body wash except for the bar of soap, shampoo looked reused. - no hand towel provided. - got a room in the basement facing the back. That's ok enough, but the ventilation was not working well so I slept with an open window and woke up to the smell of smoke from the back garden. - whole basement floor has a damp smell.

We were a little apprehensive upon arriving at The Hotel Oliver after reading some of the reviews on here. They could not have been more wrong! The hotel was clean and perfectly situated for our trip to the theatre. The staff were so helpful and friendly that it was a pleasure to stay there. Breakfast was a continental breakfast but there was so much to eat it was very good value. Next time we are going on a theatre weekend, we will be staying at the Hotel Oliver again. Thank you to all of the staff there for making our trip really enjoyable and a little less stressful :)

Room was small. Very dusty bed. Small bathroom. Breakfast was good though, and they sell bottled water in dining room which was convenient. You can also leave your bag at the reception and collet it later even after you checked out. Ok in overall

This hotel is located a short walk from Earl's Court tube station with plenty of places where you can get something to eat/drink nearby. I was in a single room and it was very small. It was also extremely warm in the room. However for what I paid and for the location, I really can't complain. If you want something cheap, functional and well located then you could do a lot worse than Hotel Oliver.

Stayed here for one night. The personal was very kind and let us leave the bags even though we haven't paid for the second night. The room was very nice I thought, nothing to complain about. I don't think you will find much better places for this price at this central location in London.

A budget hotel in Cromwell Road. It is located in the main central part of London. Generally booked. Rooms are pretty small but all basic services are available. Very good eating options are available nearby and the hotel only serves breakfast. Other meals cannot be ordered. WiFi is free and 24 hrs tea and coffee are available in the dining area on self service.

This hotel is located on a red route and limited parking facilities on the high street. If you are a staying guest with a car or intend to stay at this hotel, it would be best to make enquiries with the hotel before bringing your vehicle on site. Should they not have parking facilities, I am almost certain your stay would be ruined by ticket-happy traffic wardens.

Incredibly Centrally located for the price, stayed at Hotel Oliver Saturday 7th February '15 for a night... Had booked a room for Four in the knowledge that it would be close to 'Ping' London (Earls Court) which was the club of choice for the evening! On arrival we were given a Remote fob for the private car park across the way in which we were able to park up and walk across the road to the hotel in the knowledge that the car would be safe for the weekend, we paid £20 for this feature which to be fair in London was not outrageous.. Especially considering that upon checkout we were able to leave our car in the car park until we left London later that day allowing us to explore a bit and make a weekend of it! The Hotel itself is pleasant, the rooms have everything you need for a decent nights sleep and leave no opportunity to complain with a modern design and polite staff, if you arrive after 7pm on a Saturday then there is free parking quite literally on the hotels doorstep until 8 am on Monday morning, pop your luggage in the lobby and Earls Court underground is less than a Three minute walk allowing you to explore London as much as you might wish! You would usually expect to find additional charges/deposits etc at a hotel in London but I can assure you that once you have paid for your room and parking that is all you will have to worry about... All in all myself and my friends would like to Thank the Hotel staff for a smooth weekend, on our next visit to the Capital we have already vowed to make sure we stay here again. Harvey Duncan

Re-editing this due to star rating that it said. I believe this was a 4 star experience for what you pay for. I wished in my experience they included things like disposable cups or hand gel. The beds were fresh, but not like cups or bathroom particularly. The staff were very friendly and accomodating and flexible with me. Most likely will stay here frequently since for what you pay for and that its next to a tube that goes to central london makes it very sweet. The customer service always makes the difference. If you have s*** staff it makes the experience awful. Lots of smiles things like that. You feel welcomed as if its your home. Which it is for a night or two lol. But you know what i mean. No judgements were received and very welcoming.

The hotel is just a few steps from the bus stop and a few minutes from the metro along a pleasant street with bars, supermarkets and residential houses. A pleasant stay. Hotel je relativně levný, čistý, v dobré čtvrti, poblíž stanice metra. Před hotelem je zastávka městského autobusu. Snídaně skromná, ale dostatečná. Typicky britskou snídani ale nečekejte. Káva instantní, joguty ty nejlevnější, stejně tak vejce a chleba ty nejlevnější. Ale dá se to - pro zážitek ze snídaně ale musíte jít na snídani jinam. Vybavení hotelu je starší, na hraně životnosti. Pokoje skromné, relativně dost malé. Dveře na chodbu moc netěsní. Vzbudil náh jednu noc hluk porouchaného požárního hlásiče. Personál nás na tu noc přestěhoval do jiného pokoje, věci jsme si nechali v pokoji původním. Druhý den byla závada opravena. Personál je ochotný. Pro spokojený a úsporný pobyt v Londýně je tento hotel ideální. Ikdyž bych dal normálně jen 3 hvězdy, dávám 4 právě pro nesporné kvality, jaké hotel Oliver získal díky moudré správě indickými majiteli. Za mne mohu hotel jen doporučit. Toto typicky britské místo Vás uspokojí a je dostatečné.
