The manager was fantastic, friendly and full of advice. Best check in experience we have had. Hotel was clean. Room was lovely, plenty of plug points. No charge for early check in. Parking on site at £13 for the stay which was reasonable. Breakfast was great, quickly replenished, clean, great coffee and plenty of options.
Perfect for getting to O2 as opposite blackwall station.
Highly recommend

My friend and booked this hotel to go to a concert. The concert was cancelled but we still went. Had a great time in the local area. I would like to say the staff are amazing especially Robert who went out of his way to make our stag special. Thank you Robert. Excellent customer service.

The hotel is located about 5 minutes from the local DLR station and 10 minutes from the local tube station. It’s on a fairly busy road out of Blackwall but we heard very little traffic noise. …
M.
Checked in late, the team there were really helpful when we arrived. In particular around travel options for the following day due to the tube strike. Breakfast was pretty good the following morning, plenty of choice. Only comment is the …

Decent ample parking nice room, not dirty but needed another quick once over, it's the reason why I bring cleaning wipes. Could do with a paint in places.
Cheap bar. Will defo stay here again

Staff were extremely helpful making sure we were well orientated with the area.
Specifically the train station.which made access to central London a breeze museums tick nice restaurant tick and stunning walk along side the Thames river .
Before catching the tube to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to watch the UCI Track racing.
Finished off with a couple of very large night caps back at the hotel.

I will definitely come back again. Great location for the price, helpful and friendly staff and breakfast was excellent. The only thing why I'm only giving this place only 4 starts instead of 5 is that my room could be a little better. Not to say the room was bad or really unclean it was really nice just a small little thing which I think they could do better. It might have be a odd occasion that this happens but the room could have been cleaned a bit more properly. This was more of an issue in the bathroom where it feel like a very quick job was done and you could still see the bit of dust on the toilet seat and bathroom sink. Overall I would still come again hopefully they can be a 5-star next time.

We stayed for 4 nights, Staff were all very friendly & made us feel welcome. A big shout out to the lady who waited on us at breakfast, she was without a doubt very very polite & friendly. A couple of little niggles :- no towels in room or toiletries, towel situation soon rectified. (Had our own toiletries). Location very assessable to transport.

Lovely hotel, great management...extremely helpful and courteous. Definitely staying there again. Pizza and the bar open until midnight and soft drinks 24/7. Really friendly and great atmosphere amongst the guests.
R. J.
Rooms very clean. Staff all very friendly & helpful. The lady who waited on us at breakfast throughout our stay was exceptional, made us feel welcome. A very nice hotel with good location.
E. M.
The location is spot on. Close enough to the docklands for a nice walk. Blackwall DLR is a two minute walk away with access into the city. Clean room, friendly staff and good breakfast. We'll be back soon. 😎😎
D. D.
Cozy place with polite staff, ckean room with aircon. 15min from jubilly line, or 4 minutes from DLR. Good for o² arena.
J. R.
Lovely hotel but the location isn't the best. The room we were supposed to be in smelled horrible, but the receptionist was nice enough to offer us another room.
v. w.
Nice rooms just like other Ibis hotels. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to the airport and shopping centers and food options are also very close. Parking avaliable but at cost.
m. s.
Bedrooms OK but only pizza for food at night time sometimes chicken wings hardly ever have draught beer, but was a last minute booking for work nearby 12quid a night parking fee as well.
B. K.
Rooms were OK, nothing special. Bath shower could have been cleaner/newer. Breakfast was good, especially when brought in room. DLR was close, bus stop right outside the door. Nothing to complain as the price was exceptionally good.

For a 3 star Hotel this has excellent reception staff and service also the public areas are kept really clean and presentable.
The rooms could do with some improvement though, it's really really cold in there and updating the rooms will make it even better.
Adding to that the reception staff have helped me move to a different room after but it was no better and they are tried their best!
Thank you to the staff
D. L.
Nice hotel but severely overpriced at £200 a night.
D. M.
Very convenient situation for the O2. Minimal staff. Adequate room for the price.
D. J.
Nice hotel👌 good service 😉💯
Comfy room and really friendly staff💯
K. M.
Absolutely nice staff, very committed at all times. I am very happy. Friendly, accurate, perfect! Very nice room at a reasonable price. I can recommend this place. Breakfast is great.
A. T.
Nice hotel, tidy, clean rooms, very friendly staff.
S. E.
Great spot as a base to get to O2, room was fine and breakfast was good. Ideal.

This hotel is beautiful on the inside and out. In a convenient location for the metro and a ten minute walk from a host of nice restaurants on the front of a dock! A shout out to Salento Restaurant a ten minute walk away. Definitely worth eating out here if you stay.
My only indifference with this hotel was on the first night I witnessed a man get refused at the bar for having too many (in reality he had had five which I believe is the hotel's maximum) but the woman behind the bar came across as very prejudiced against alcohol which didn't sit well with me.
The rooms were amazing on the upside! The shower is one of the best I've been in and the beds got their job done too. The TV was a good size too with plenty of storage space.
Breakfast was all you can eat which can't go wrong! I think it was £7 per head which is tremendous in my opinion for what you get.
S. K.
Really lovely staff and very high quality rooms, really pulled out all of the stops, even supplying a plug block - definitely though about the guests! Great location too!
d. l.
Clean room, lovely cooked breakfast.
Extremely welcoming and friendly staff (particularly the Danish guy on reception).
Can’t fault the place at all.
M. H.
Bed was comfy and staff were really friendly. Room was very clean. Has fast wifi and a TV with a lot of channels was good. Did not try breakfast but looks like it had a lot of options. The only reason I wouldn't give a five star review is because the bathroom door would not shut properly on either of our rooms. Prices were very reasonable. Overall a good place to stay.
L. O.
We chose this hotel primarily as it was a very reasonable price for London and for its access to the 02, as we were attending the Mamma Mia Party. However we were very pleasantly surprised ,our room was clean ,with a very comfortable bed and excellent shower. The breakfast was superb with an excellent selection of hot and cold food, pastries and delicious breads, and the restaurant was spotlessly clean. We also had supper in the bar after a long day of sightseeing, again this was excellent. What made our stay even more enjoyable however was the staff. The customer service is outstanding, all the staff were friendly attentive and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable.Brian, the Manager was attentive and helpful, giving us directions and seemed to be interested in his guests. We had a fabulous stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
L. G.
My partner booked this for us. What a lovely welcome and a nice reception area. All the staff were really nice and very helpful. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The bar area was also very nice. Would definitely stay here again. I hope the management know what a credit all the staff are to the hotel.
B. R.
Had a fab 2 nights the beds were very comfy the shower was brilliant no messing about to get it the right temperature and the staff were amazing with excellent food can not fault this hotel 1 bit ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had a long stay at the Ibis Canary Wharf, while I was getting some work done on my flat. The staff were amazing! Always friendly ,upbeat, and accommodating . From the cleaners to the front of house staff they made my time there a very nice experience. When I got there, I requested a change of room, as I had previously asked for a quieter room away from the traffic. I was given a room with a wonderful view of Canary Wharf and they also offered to move all my luggage for me while I was out. <br/>The location is perfect if you want to be close to Canary wharf, but not in the heart of it. It is very accessible by bus and the DLR. Both rooms I stayed in were very well kept and clean with excellent soundproofing. The breakfast buffet had a lovely spread and I was offered vegetarian options where available. I would highly recommend this hotel for long or short stays.
Y. K.
Lovely hotel at a great price for London. There is a talented manager in charge who knows how to get the best out of the budget price so it feels like an extra star! Food is amazing.Room comfortable and clean and decorated in a modern chic style. Comfy bed, nice powerful shower. All you need for a business trip.
E. W.
No photos unfortunately but a good hotel in a good location, just by Blackwall DLR. It served our purpose of having a base whilst visiting parts of central London. The room was clean and tidy with a kettle for making hot drinks. The bathroom was like a pod and was sufficient for our needs. The staff were friendly. We didn’t take breakfast as we felt there was too much choice in the London markets to eat in.
N.
Great experience, shown my room by the receptionist and security during my night booking
C. E.
The staff here are just great! I was greeted and checked in quickly, and I was made to feel super welcome.
My room was clean and modern, and quiet enough for sure. Absolutely no complaints!
I ordered food at the bar and took it back to my room to eat. It was a bit pricey (but then, London prices I suppose).
All I needed was something to eat and a bed near London City Airport, and this place was perfect. I’d definitely stay here again!
S. S.
The room was great for its price it was clean and tidy. The staff was so nice and the customer service was really good. Really do recommend it
R. S.
Overall, great value for money, would stay there again at any time.
Quiet location, very convenient access to public transport (bus stop in front of hotel, DLR station 5 minutes walk), 25 min ride to centre, great breakfast buffet, staff helpful, room size is what it is... standard for this hotel category, sufficient not generous. Wardrobe space is limited.
l. a.
I was given a friendly welcome and given my card to get into the room, it didn't appear to work for me so had to get someone up to let me in. The first thing that hit me was the coolness of the room and the colour scheme - no warm colours, I liked the chair so I could write at the desk. The television worked without a problem, the bed was comfortable once I got warm enough to sleep. It seemed noisy in my room with the air conditioning. The toilet flushing system didn't always work properly. The shower worked and found the hairdryer if I needed it -would have liked a shower cap to be provided. The room was adequate for my needs - stopover for one night. The breakfast bar I had to search for what I wanted as there were several places where food was provided. It was fine. would I come back well at least I will know what to expect.
J. E.
Nice hotel. Kind staff. Comfy
m. P.
Super-friendly staff, very accommodating with guests' requests, I could tell they were genuinely eager to help. Room was comfortable and clean. Location is great if you don't want to stay in the hustle bustle of the tourist areas, yet you can reach all the attractions in 20-30 minutes by train at the station across the street from the hotel. The Canary Wharf area is modern, clean, safe and has lots of shopping and dining options. Highly recommend!
M. O.
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at this hotel last weekend, the staff are so friendly and helpful and it's obvious that Brian is a wonderful manager! The rooms are great, the beds so comfortable, breakfast utterly delicious and the whole place was wonderfully quiet even though the hotel was full due to an event in the o2! Thanks to all for helping to make our visit so enjoyable! Maureen O'Sullivan
B. K.
No air conditioning, no iron, the restaurant food was burnt and awful. The room was clean and the shower was ok but if it wasn't a company trip, I would not choose this place for myself in the future. It's ok in a pinch and ok on a budget so not too bad, but not great. If you're staying there on business and need an iron, remember to bring your own.
T. Z.
Well located near Blackwall DLR Station. Very easy 5 minute walk to Hotel. Simple check-in and checkout system. Rooms are comfortable and have all you need for an overnight stay. Breakfast was good with a choice of cereal, cold cuts and English breakfast. Very good choice if going to O2 for a concert.

Ibis is a well known chain of 3-star hotels around the country.
This one is conveniently located, close to the Wharf.
The rooms are slightly small, but otherwise comfortable and clean. The beds are excellent.
Service is OK but house-keeping is bad. Food options are OK with some very good dishes and a reduced menu set running 24-7.
Overall the hotel is rather pricey for what it offers, probably due to the lack of alternative options in the area.
N. I.
Great hotel in a good location for Canary Wharf. Room one of the nicer ones I've stayed in in London, with good sized bedroom and nice big shower. Breakfast selection was very good and tasty, with all the standard options plus some nice additions like a mango shot and meats and cheese selections. Would recommend as a cheaper option for a Canary Whatf stay, without sacrificing quality.
J. S.
Absolutely fantastic staff were exellant and could not do enough for you, I am in a wheelchair and nothing was to much trouble. The hotel was very clean and smart and the food was amazing. To be totally honest myself and my daughter had stayed in the Hilton a few months before and we both agreed that the service and food had been of a far higher quality at the Ibis Docklands, our only complaint is that we did not take any of the staff or managers names to include in this write up of our experience. Will definitely use this hotel again. Upon arrival a lovely cool drink was served and when they found out we were there for the Ed Sheeran concert they changed the music in the hotel to his tracks, above and beyond by anyone's standards. Thank you for making our stay such a relaxing and enjoyable experience to everyone who was involved.
H. S.
Overall satisfactory. Although the room & the bathroom was small the bed/pillow was comfortable. All staff members I interacted with during my stay were friendly and attentive (which is a huge plus for my overall impression on this particular ibis place). One big negative point was that there was some sewer smell in the bathroom (room # 107). If this wasn't the case I would give extra 1 or 2 points in my rating. I didn't bother complaining to the reception since I was very tired from my 13+ hours of flight and ground transportation and the sewer smell was just enough for me to tolerate while my brief use of the bathroom.
J. K.
It was interesting, the check in process was quite different to any other hotel, but it worked well. The staff were friendly. When asking questions etc it would be useful to have a reception desk, but I understand you are moving away from that standard. Also the bathroom in the room we booked was strange, like an afterthought. You have to step up into a dome type bathroom. The room overall was clean and tidy. Also, why no hand towels? That strikes me as very odd and a little unpleasant.
T. I.
We use Ibis a lot when in London. This time was for my 50th so wanted it to be memorable & it was for all the right reasons!!! This hotel was friendly with easy check in & a key drop off for a painfree check out. Nothing was to much trouble. Breakfast was outstanding both days with a wide choice of food available with a comfortable area for eating. (Could do with trays to carry food to tables) Room was clean as was bedding, towels etc & although near busy roads we were unable to hear it with the windows closed. It has good transport links to the city & all only a short walk away. Would highly recommend this hotel.
S. S.
Room was small but functional, the bed was a little bit lumpy but manged to sleep well. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely get the breakfast if you go, one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had.Lunch and dinner options are sparse but good selection at the bar. No gym or pool unfortunately.
D.
As usual, you get what you pay for. Budget hotel - room is comfortable. Bed always gives a good night's sleep. Bathroom always smells a bit odd with the standard gurgling sink/ toilet, but with good shower. Service on front desk is attentive but not complete (for example you can't get a sowing kit if you need one) but there is someone available eventually to speak to.
S. C.
We were welcomed by Anna, who quickly checked us in and made sure we had every information we need. Very customer friendly staff in general.
We missed a refrigerator at the room for our water, milk etc.
Nice bed and nice morning buffet.
Overall a very nice stay.
M. D.
The checking in was excellent, with the staff coming to me as I entered the building.
My only very small issues were that the "wet room" style bathroom means that after a shower there is no dry floor space and the position of the bed meant that sun was streaming into my face in the morning because the curtains did not go right across the window.
Breakfast was amazing.
The check-out process was very slick and easy.
D. J.
Faultless...staff welcoming on arrival, the informal checkin made a refreshing change so instantly felt at ease. Loved the contemporary design of the room, it was clean, unfussy and the firmness of the bed made for an exceptional nights sleep.
Unlike some of the other reveiws i have read i can assure you the traffic noise was not a problem and quite frankly I expected it to be worse considering the hotels location.
The breakfast selection was anazing and presented beautifully, i don't usually eat straight after i wake, however on this occasion i wanted to devour everything in sight.
If i coukd pick up this wonderful hotel and relocate it south before the Backwall tunnel and closer to the O2 i would, in the meantime i will compromise location with value. I will book a room there again and i highly recommend this establishment to you all 👌☝️
K. K.
A well located business hotel with good connectivity to the Blackwall DLR
We were well supported by a cooperative staff, despite travelling staying heavy COVID19 restrictions
The rooms are small and cramped, however the overall experience is convenient and acceptable!
L. V.
It's a good hotel compared to how much you pay. I've stayed in the Radisson next door and the room isn't much different at half the cost.
The rooms are a good size, bathrooms maybe a little tight but acceptable.
Breakfast is good, usual full English buffet with continental pastries etc.
Staff have been friendly and helpful, WiFi is free and simple to access.
P. T.
Ibis is a very cosy hotel in Canary Wharf.
It's within walking distance of Canary Wharf station (less than a mile or approximately 15'), so depending on the weather, you won't be needing a bus or taxi.
There are 3 things that matter to me in a hotel: how clean it is, the bed and the breakfast. And Ibis ticks all the boxes for its price tag.
Especially the bed was really great. Comfortable and not so soft.
The breakfast was not that rich, but everything was very fresh and tasty. I really enjoyed a proper english breakfast.
It will be my first choice for the next business trip there.
M. R.
If you want a cheap hotel, this is a good choice. Rooms are quiet comfortable and super clean. However, location is not so good and it is a bit challenging to get around in public transportation. Also if you have early check out before your flight, there is no place to put you luggage, so beware of that. For me, it was a huge hassle. I had to drag them to one of my friend"s hotel to be able to see the city on the last day. And even if you keep your luggage in the hotel, it is not practical to go to the center of london and then come back to hotel before your flight, as the hotel is on the other side of the city. Take that into consideration when booking your way back.

The best thing about my experience was that I hit my hand on a bollard coming out of the adjacent subway / walkway at night when there were no lights.
Before I'd even checked in, the staff were attentive, provided something to cool my injury with and were very pleasant and while I was busy cooling my hand, check in was seamlessly took place and I had the room key card in my hand before I knew it. While I was still settling after check in, I sat in reception and accessed the wifi with no issues and enjoyed the atmosphere of the bar.
The quality of the hotel, the room, bar and location was all exactly what I needed and the breakfast was really tasty. I particularly enjoyed the mini chorizo sausages as part of the cooked breakfast. For those who want something else, there is also fresh fruit, baked goods and cereals.
If you like white noise at night, in my room on the 4th floor, there was a dull hum, probably from the air-con in another room. Normally that bothers me (or I think it does), but with the fan off in my room I dropped off to sleep quickly, so obviously not really a problem for me.
All in all, spot on. Thank you.
S. C.
Bed too firm did not make for comfortable night sleep
A. P.
Very friendly staff, very clean, spacious, comfortable rooms. The most comfortable bed ever which allowed for us a well rested night. Very good choice for breakfast in the morning, good quality food. I will most definitely use this hotel again should I chose to visit London in the future.

What sets this hotel apart from any other hotel I have ever stayed in is the staff.
They could not be any more helpful and nothing was to much trouble. The manager even went out of his way to help us when we were trying to get to our destination the O2. All staff went around with a smile on their face which made for a lovely atmosphere. They all seem very motivated.
Q. P.
Overall the hotel exceeded expectations having had a mediocre experience in london in the same price range. The room was decently sized, with a wet style bathroom. The breakfast bar was really good with a selection of foods. Will definately use again.

Lovely clean rooms ,buffet breakfast superb

Had an amazing stay at the Ibis. Went to London for the Brit Awards and this was the cheapest accommodation we could find. It is worth so much more than 3 stars. Hotel is lovely, fresh, clean and staff are very friendly. The Manager Brian was so helpful throughout the stay! The only downfall was the Spag Bol we had, it wasn't very nice, but it was 2 in the morning when we ordered it so this was probably why is didnt taste great. We will definitely be coming back to stay next time were in London! Thanks Brian and Team for such a great stay.
T. M.
Travelled on leisure to London and tried to get a not so expensive hotel. The room was clean but the toilet smelled like a sewage. Centrally located within the highbrow Canary Wharf area it afforded us quick access to business and pleasure. …
B. D.
We were allowed in our room early as it was ready. Which was gratefully appreciate as it was raining . The hotel was clean and quiet . The staff were excellent and very professional.
Whilst it was a one off visit -we went to watch the world championships-
i would recommend it and definitely stay there again
M. A.
Easy to find, convenient, and good location for the area. It's a typical Ibis, covers all the requirements for a stay in a hotel. It can be expensive but in line with lots of London hotels. Staff were really friendly and helpful, awesome welcome on reception and easy check-in and out.
D. C. V.
Arrived Sunday night and surprised and disappointed that there was no salad (healthy options) on the menu - just the stodgy options (pasta, chips...). Offsetting this, the morning breakfast had poached eggs, which was the first time I have seen this in ibis and a great addition - healthy. The breakfast, overall, was above usual ibis standards. My room was excellent (one of the newly styled ibis rooms). Check-in took some (irritating after a flight from the Middle East) as the single person working was serving in the bar area and clearly overwhelmed. Excellent staff but improved management - please also ensure you pay them more than the minimum wage. They make the Hotel!
K. B.
Excellent staff service, they are all very polite and helpful, the rooms were comfortable and spacey, breakfast was amazing with a good selection of items to choose from, building and decor very up to date.
I would definitely recommend and definitely book to stay again (all in all 10 out of 10)
A. R.
Having stayed in a number of ibis hotels around London over the past few months, I believe this to be 1 of the better - room wise, big rooms, all seems nice and new, no complaints at all. Service was good enough, staff were friendly. The food was awful, yes it was 15 mins before the kitchen closed, but having ordered a pasta dish and having it placed down in front of me in less than 5 minutes wasn't the best. And it tasted slimy and had hot and cold spots. Basically a microwave meal of low quality that wasn't heated properly but still priced at £12. I will definitely stay there again, but will make sure I eat out. Every chance this is a 1 off but it's enough to keep me clear of the food
W. P.
Fantastic welcome and staff were very attentive throughout our stay, special mention to the French young girl, Anna I think her name was.
Sewage smell on 4th floor which according to reviews seems to be an ongoing issue. Had it in our bathroom on second day.
Liked new bedrooms layout and great to have the powercube, nice touch.
Carpet was stained in our room (414) which is a bit of shame.
Overall, great stay and will return on my next visit to London as very convenient too. Looking forward in staying in other Accor hotels in France in August. Merci 😊
g. g.
The service is good for the price that you pay. The breakfast is very good and the staff very nice. Only one tiny complain (for the ones that are as picky as I am) they only provide you with one soap for everything, meaning you have to use the same product to wash your hands and hair, so I suggest you to bring you own products.
S. C.
Always stay here if we can, it's so convenient to O2 and theatres. Great staff always happy to help. Bar prices are very reasonable, makes it a very pleasant experience to have a nightcap before bed. Wish they had a few gluten free options but it wasn't a huge problem
R. O.
I appreciated the staff's availability and kindness and the good choice at breakfast. The room was tiny, specifically the bathroom and I struggled in understanding the window's closing/ opening. Unfortunately the room was not the quietest room in the hotel and I had some background noise from the highway.
I. W.
Stayed for one night and this was my second time visiting an IBIS in London. Helpful Staff. Bar nicely stocked. Nice all you can eat breakfast served pretty much all morning. Room was clean and well proportioned.
L. h.
It was great staff were very helpful and looked after us the whole time. Comfortable beds clean room
Easy to get in and out of London and to the o2 and Olympic Stadium which was the main reason reason for our stay. Used the DLR and avoided most of the queues as the DLR right by the hotel.
Grab and go breakfast not quite grab more make it yourself and go so should have left a little more time for that.
I woke up everytime hubby used the toilet in the night as light switch on the outside and door to bathroom door is right next to bed due to the design so bright lights this might not be an issue for others.
D. M. P.
If you wish to stay near by Crown Casino and get there by foot...this is bit to far to walk in particular if you go back to the Hotel room late night/early morning. Yes,its close to the tram station and train station. Very clean and buffet breakfast is pretty good. Nice quality beds and linens and very friendly staff. Its nice feeling about Ibis and I would recommend it to my friends but for the price...its bit on the spicy side.
P. T.
We were attending an event at the Excel Center & decided to try a different hotel after the hotel we booked last year significantly raised their price. We had never tried the Ibis, so we joined the Le CLUB Accor Hotel and booked the Ibis Canary Wharf. The hotel was certainly worth the price - the room is extremely well designed with very comfortable twin beds. Breakfast was excellent, but food ordered from the lunch/dinner menu was a big disappointment. Our meal was was cold, unappetising and meager, such a contrast with the generous, well-prepared breakfast. Usually we would not eat at the hotel but the location of this hotel was in a residential area with no nearby eating spots. If we book another Ibis Hotel, we will book in a non--residential area where food is easily available.
N. K.
Great budget hotel. Friendly staff. Comfy bed, good shower. Reasonably priced drinks at the bar. Parking was £12. Very good breakfast - fab poached eggs! Good location for the O2.
E. W.
the hotel is fine, used it for years. the checking in procedure on a phone app is just a silly attempt to be hip & you stand around while the poor staff have to hunt around for the card pay machine & then the room key issuing and then huddle round the back of the old desk to put your registration number in for the car park. . Its a rubbish system so please go back to using reception desk. its more professional & the staff have everything in one place
E. W.
My particular experience at this property is a bit of a hit-and-miss.
1/ The thermostat accepts a wide range of input but seemed to only allow heating, and shuts off ventilation when the desired temperature is lower than room temperature. Not great given that the property is close to roads so keeping the window open would not do.
2/ The lift dropped half a floor when ascending then proceeded to ascend as usual.
3/ Bedding configuration was completely wrong in my opinion — putting two single beds together does not make a queen-sized bed.
Front desk staff was good though and the price probably can’t be beat.
T. M.
The hotel is what you expect from a large chain. Reasonably sized room. We particularly enjoyed the neatness of the hotel and the very courteous attention of the hotel staff. Walking distance to Canary Wharf and 5mins in taxi to. Without fuss and at an OK price as Excel shows were on.
J. R. (. V. Z.
Just a short walk from Canary Wharf station. Clean and tidy with decent breakfast. They do have the nice option of late check-out (17:00) for a modicum price.
Just a bit noisy though due to traffic nearby.

Great stay . Rooms clean. Comfy beds and loved the extra pillows in wardrobe. Shower was Amazing. Fab breakfast. Really happy with everything
a. b.
Staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious.
M. M.
Clean, modern rooms, super friendly and helpful staff. Close to Blackwell station, handy for Canary Wharf. No safe in the room, good WiFi. Basic meal options, good bar. I'll probably come here again on business.
P. G.
Great little hotel. Very small for an Ibis but this ensured the staff had more attention for each guest.
Didnt have to checkout till 12 noon, which made the usual morning rush panic disappear. Would certainly stay again.
J. M.
Very happy with my experience at the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clear and helpful leaflets around. Good walking distance to the open water venue where I took part in the event.
Very well done for your fantastic job.
r. o.
Fast check in, clean rooms, fabulous breakfast, best ive ever had! And very nice helpful staff, especially Tania who was exceptionally helpful and made our stay very pleasant. We will definately return if she is still working there!
A. M.
Stayed over night with two young children. The staff were very helpful and friendly, hotel very clean and room comfortable.
Very impressed with our stay and it is very close to hot spots in London.
I. K.
Pleasant enough room, limited tea offer. Bathroom nice. Biggest issue was finding the place as the postcode takes you to somewhere on the other side of Blackwall dlr station.

All the staff made our stay memorable and i am sure when we visit London again this is where we will stay. It's an easy walk to the Docklands Light rail and it's direct to London CIty airport. I wasn't expecting much due to the cost however I was pleasantly surprised. All the staff were helpful and friendly.
T. M.
I booked this hotel at the last minute and i am very glad i did. Not the Hilton but this offers great value for money. Access to the heart of London is easy and the price was far less than would be payable closer to the city centre. The location of the hotel was good.
K. V.
Probably one of the best value-for-money hotel around Canary Wharf. An easy 10mins walk to the main buildings of the financial district. Calm, clean, convenient. A good choice for a quick business trip.
R. D.
Fine for a small travel stay hotel. Staff friendly and the prices very reasonable. Located a 2 min walk from the DLR station. Only reason i had a slight problem was that there were some questionable characters staying there on our floor had the destinct smell of pot.
A. H.
Our stay at the ibis canary wharf was great. The staff was excellent the rooms were lovely and the breakfast was fantastic location was perfect not to far from transport to get in and out of city. Thankyou very much for everything you done for us to make stay amazing. Big thankyou would defiantly recommend
J. V.
Very friendly colleagues, helpful conversations upon arrival and on departure. The room is very nice and tidy, the hotel in general provides a vivid but still relaxing atmosphere . Really good choice!
D. W.
Room was nice and comfy, deff recommend the pizza, can't remember their names but the 2 girls from Portugal were absolutely luvly, great costomer service and made the stay what is was, they deserve a pay rise lol
T. M.
The hotel is very much a budget hotel and has a budget feel but for the price it is very good. The rooms are a standard IBIS budget set up, with the ""pod"" bathroom. Chain company or not, you have to look after your staff and guests who pay money to you.
M. P.
Rooms are adequate for what you need for an overnight stay. Beds are comfortable. The Staff at this hotel are to be complimented they certainly are a credit to the company.
G. M.
Hardly a stunner, but it's functional, clean and nicely situated near the DLR. Interesting breakfast selection, all the classic cooked English options - including oft ignored black pudding - but also mini chorizo. A unusual but welcome addition.
M. W.
I can highly recommend the Ibis at Canary Wharf for anyone wanting to stay there, it's also 5 minutes walk to Canary Wharf, 2 minutes walk for DLR train station, you will have a very good and very comfortable stay. Literally from walking into the Hotel, you are greeted with a warming smile, and most helpful staff. Even of there busy they will endeavour to ask for you to take a seat and they will assist you.
P. J.
We had a bright, comfortable and fun stay at the hotel. Our room, whilst a little on the small side, was very clean and extremely comfortable. Our expectations were greatly exceeded.
t. j.
Clean rooms clean hotel. Some staff pleasant one dark haired receptionist girl moody and unhelpful. Close to O2 arena short ride away would stay again don't ask for early check in they say yes at booking no when you arrive
A. P. A.
We are regular customers of IBIS Canary Wharf. Our experience has always been positive. The condition of the facilities is correct. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast offer is plentiful. Our daughter lives in London, specifically in Isle of Dogs. For its location and features Ibis London Docklands Canary Wharf is ideal for our requirements.
K. R.
Good basic hotel for a one night stay, close to canary wharf and one train stop from the O2 if you don't mind the walk to the station, otherwise you can go on the DLR and then tube one stop. Slept well here, bit of traffic noise being next to the main road but at the top level it didn't disrupt our sleep.
C. N.
Nice urban hotel near to the O2 arena. Just make sure you get a taxi back after a gig there. There's only a tunnel if you are walking under the river and there can be some less than appealing characters around. Definitely not somewhere to go alone in the dark.
T. M.
The hotel is close to Blackwall on the DLR and is convenient for getting into the City / the Excel and the o. I had the breakfast in the morning which again for the price was very good. We all agreed we would definitely stay there again if revisiting that area of London.
V. V.
We've been there for a week, and it was nice and clean, not to far from the city centre (30 minutes) and not very expensive.
nice breakfasts as usual in this hotels.
The people were very friendly as well-
s. r.
Hotel is spotlessly clean, all staff are so friendly, Nothing is too much trouble for them.
Food is basic but really tasty.
Perfect access to transport network.
G. D.
Service was second to none. I was pleasantly surprised about the consistent design and decor through out the hotel, front the reception up to the rooms. It was fresh, modern and quirky. All good things in my personal opinion.
K. J.
nice hotel and the staff were friendly. rooms were clean but small. it's a bit of a trek to the tube station (about 20 mins walk)
o. o.
It was calm and lovely. No interruptions whatsoever and located at great transport center to take you to anywhere you want to go
D. P.
For the money it's very good! Clean rooms and friendly staff. Location is great for accessing canery wharf but it is a bit noisy given its right next to a main road.
A. F.
Ideal for an overnight stay, clean, friendly and surprisingly quiet given it was full. Rooms were compact, bathroom basic, shower good. Smart reception / bar area.
Z. D.
Such a fantastic place where to stay. Location. Room. And the main thing.. staff. Amazing! 🌞
J. M.
The staff were lovely but the room and wet room toilet area were way too small for me in a wheelchair. When going to the DLR station from the hotel via the underpass it was very scary as it was very dark and there wasn't any light
L.
The staff is the real strength of the hotel
The room was cold, the heating needs to be improved
A. S.
The room was good, the food was nice (not much variety, but was good), but what I loved was the treatment given by the reception/bar people, they were very helpful always and very good overall. Remarkable people.
P. V.
For the price, a great no-frills place, but everything you need is there. Just remember you're not paying Ritz prices, reason why I give it 4 stars. Also, great location to discover lesser known parts of London, yet still just 30min tube ride (via Jubilee line, Canary wharf) from central London.
K. B.
Room was very nice, staff extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast food was less than average though, didn't have any other meals there so can't judge on that
C. K.
stayed overnight as going to an event nearby, basic, clean, provided all the necessities, good breakfast room not huge but pretty much what you'd expect for London. Staff cheerful and helpful.
T. M.
Went to a wonderful concert last night at the O. Didn't eat in the hotel so I can't comment on the food, but it's only a short walk from Blackwall DLR station and a brisk 10 minute walk to the heart of Canary Wharf. Restaurant food was very good.
M. Ś.
It's alright, but you need to request cleaning, otherwise no one will change your bed sheets.
W. K. W.
This is my first time visiting London. My stay at ibis is paramount in establishing the first impression upon there. Well, approaching the tube station, delicious breakfast and friendly and helpful members of staff all have constituted such a positive remark.
A. K. S.
Extremely good service, situated well with respect to public transportation. The bus stop literally outside the main entrance, the tube is in the backyard. Very big roads rigt next to it though, and the rooms are hmmm, speciale.
k. o.
Our room was available early. I loved the casual reception the girls on both days were very helpful and friendly. They helped us with anything we asked in a very friendly manner.
J. D.
Easy access into central London at a much more reasonable rate. The family room unfortunately only had 1 bed and was tight for space but the breakfast was delicious.
Β. Χ.
Nice and clean place. Very good breakfast. People of the hotel were very kind. We will definatelly stay again when we visit London again!
C. K.
The room is clean & neat, equipped with all the necessary amenities. The service staff are awesome! The breakfast is great & the spread is just right.
H. P.
Bed very comfortable room was warm the staff were friendly the breakfast was so nice variety of choices I don't have photos to add but just try it you will not regret
B. M.
Superb location for The O2 or Canary wharf. Very quiet too. Brilliant staff, good breakfast. One star off for pong from the bathroom.à
T.
Nice and easy place to get to, clean and well looked after, staff are good and helped when necessary (blooming keycards, lol). Good, safe parking and easy access to public transport and Canary Wharf
P. J.
Ideal location for Olympic park or Canary wharf. Nice rooms and friendly staff. Take out breakfast is a bargain, £4 for four small croissant and two drinks.
P. B.
Staff friendly and helpful, rooms small but adequate for a short stay. Would look to stay at Ibis hotels in the future
D. J.
Can't fault this hotel at all staff are all lovely so welcoming and helpful close to o2 and drl and breakfast was really nice will definitely be back
G. D. C. D. C.
For me, all was wonderful, except the first day, at breakfast, one saturday morning I should go earlier in the morning to Liverpool, and at seven o'clock, there wasn't hot meal, because the responsible wasn't able to do it at this hour, because she arrived late, at 06:45, despite she apologises.
J. J.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming - it was very pleasant as I had travelled 4 hours to get there around 8.30 and was very tired. Had run out of salads for meal so must have been busy that day.
U. C.
Room very clean, all staff friendly and helpful, close to CW, hot breakfast a bit cold but great selection, l will return!
P. A. H.
Friendly staff Clean and tidy rooms are responsible shower and toilet a bit compacted but serves well for the size of the room food at the hotel a bit expensive a bus station near to the rear of hotel bus number 15 takes you past tower of London and ends at Trafalgar Square it takes about a hour and a half and a short walk to view over the river to see the 02 arena
G. B.
I had a very pleasant stay at Ibis Docklands Hotel. Very comfortable rooms and an excellent range of food for breakfast. I've really enjoyed my stay and I highly recommend it.
b. r.
A bit tired. Could do with a revamp
E. P.
Excellent service, wonderful breakfast. Thank you, Brian and your team for your warm welcome and hospitality. See you again ;-}
C. C.
Brilliant hotel, treated us like it was a luxury place! Beds were so comfy we slept through the night, will definitely be coming back.
S. F.
The reception staff were very helpful. My room was clean and everything in its place. Absolutely no complaints !
A. F.
Well situated just accross the O2. Well priced for the area. Team is great : very friendly and efficient. Didn't take the breakfast but it seemed nice.
P. G.
Pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean, functional and professionally run. I will stay there again next time I am staying in town.
N. M.
Not cheap, even for London (might have been due to an event in the O2 around the block, though) and absolutely crappy "broadband" access. Bad joke. You cannot even do reliable phone calls via Skype due to bad upstream speed.
Room's mostly tidy, breakfast English (that is a bad joke, when called "Continental Breakfast Buffet", again, but typically London).
Overall "OK", but not a must-have.
A. S.
Clean rooms, comfy bed, friendly staff. Great location for Canary Wharf, easy to get to on DLR.
Good food in Foggs too.
L. P.
Reasonably priced clean room, comfy bed. Staff friendly and helpful, food was good too.

T. F.
Nice and clean comfortable stay. Great choice on breakfast . Friendly helpful staff . Would reccomend .
D. S.
Room had a Phone with amazingly big buttons, a walk in wardrobe and an emergency pull cord in the bathroom................ wait.............. I'm starting to think they thought I was disabled in some way.
P. L.
Great welcome from Tania, efficient check in and later impartial advice on where to eat, even though I ended up eating in the hotel. Clean room, great WiFi, good food.
C. T.
Had an overnight stay to see a show at the O2. The hotel was only a few stops on DLR / tube and also has parking. We had a lovely stay and breakfast.
P. W.
Arrived and straight away the gentleman at reception was amazing, so helpful. The room is spotless and clean.
C. G.
Beds were really comfy.

F. M.
This was exactly what you would expect from an Ibis, clean room basic amenities. The staff were all really friendly and helpful.
