Our room didn't have an air conditioning since some parts of the hotel were under construction, but they gave us a fan! The staff is very nice. The room was nice and the bathroom was wonderful and brand new.
There's no window screens so if you want to open the window bugs can get in. There's a pub next-door so depending on where your room is people may keep you up at night from being loud.
The cafe off the lobby smells AMAZING.
The "free" breakfast is just ok.
I would stay again 🙂

Stayed here for 2 nights as it was close to the excel centre as I was attending Vidcon, and was around £150 than the original hotel I was considering. Was a little skeptical at first as I'd seen mixed reviews however didn't run into any problems personally. Check in was smooth, the room (446) looked like it was newly refurbished with a very nice bathroom, large TV I could stream my phone to and a desk too which was handy when I needed to use my laptop. There was also a safe and electrical heater available which would hear up quickly, aswell as an Aircon. Breakfast wasn't anything gourmet however there was a lot to choose from which is always nice, and considering the price compared to a lot of surrounding hotels, free breakfast is definitely a great addition! Pillows were quite hard however the bed itself was quite comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful which also made the stay better. There was renovation works going on but didn't really cause any problems for my friend and I. Overall, great stay for a cheaper hotel in the London excel area!

I was attending an event at the london excel so the location was perfect, however, the room i stayed in was not the cleanest of rooms. There were hairs on the floor when we got there and was a bit dusty. there was only 1 tea bag given in the room even though there were two beds. i stayed in the summer so it was very hot but unfortunately the air conditioning was not working. we were not given any instuctions upon arival. we had never stayed in a hotel before so we didnt know how anything worked. the staff were very cold which made us not want to go down and ask how anything worked. we spent about 15 minuets trying to figure out how the electric worked and then the shower. my trip could have been made much more enjoyable if the staff were more friendly and aproachable and if the cleaning was done a little better.

I was there for just one night but the experience was great. The room and bathroom were comfortable and clean. Breakfast offers you a wide range of delicious food and staff are very kind and available. Furthermore, DLR station is just around the corner and you can reach easily city centre. Strongly recommended!

Handy for the DLR station located just opposite, and also for the ExCel exhibition centre. When we visited, rooms were being renovated on our floor. This made for a degree, albeit only small, of noise and dust. This didn't spoil our stay to any major degree although some folk may react differently. Breakfast lovely, a good range of cold and hot items to suit all tastes, buffet style, in the first floor breakfast room. Café and restaurant on the ground floor serving a good range of meals and snacks, and a traditional British pub which opens at 4pm interconnecting from main reception. Staff helpful and polite. Just one note of caution -- when we put out our 'room ready to be serviced' tag on our door, we returned to find it had been turned round to 'do not disturb', so we had to contact reception via messenger / text (no phones in rooms now) for housekeeping to bring up new towels and replace coffee etc. All in all, a pleasant stay.

Pro: Neat and clean rooms, nice bar! Kettle in every room, fast and reliable wifi, USB charger slots on the wall, smart TV (Samsung), delicious bacon, fair selection of nuts at breakfast.
Contra: really small toilet, instant coffee at breakfast, and you don't want to venture into their scrambled eggs, neither their sausages. (Otherwise good breakfast) Also have to mention the extremely small space for work in the rooms
E.
Price was reasonable. On arrival we had a little difficulty checking in as they had not received our email for booking but problem was resolved by night staff. Morning staff were polite especially Patience who offered great customer service in general as well as dealing swiftly with the plumbing issue with sink and shower in our room . Room was nice, clean, with basic stylish decor. A little on the small side! Breakfast was good but would of liked to see chicken sausage or beef burger added to the list. Also an option for fried egg not just scrambled would of been a plus. Overall pleasant stay and recommend.

Perfectly located to be close to the Excel London with being swamped by it. Transport is easy to use.
My room wasn't as big as a travelodge room but had everything I needed. It was a shower rather than a bath, a smart tv that i could share my laptop to so I wasn't bored in the evenings. Free Wifi is fast and free! In the past other chains force you to pay for wifi that actually is useable.
Only reason for a 4 vs a 5 star was my room was a little dented. There was a visibly fresh repair where the door had bashed the wall and one of my lightbulbs was out.
Overall, for a mid range chain hotel it meets everything you need.
V. T.
Short but sweet. The rooms were as you would expect, compact. The bathroom was like a portable loo and shower in one. The room had plenty of storage for cases but would not want to stay long. Bed was very comfy and spare pillows. No hassle at check in and out was nice . The breakfast selection was not vast but the basis buffet was there - very nice bacon. For the rate we paid it was ok. Would come again for short stay.
S. A.
Nice clean refurbished room. All very simple and perfect for a short stay. Yes it had a kettle... The staff were very helpful and friendly. The only negatives= the restaurant was closed, no decaffeinated coffee in the bar and the alcohol free lager was very expensive. (2and visit)
C. D.
For a cheap working stopover this hotel is acceptable. Very convenient for Excel and DLR being right on the doorstep. But I would avoid it as a base for visiting London. It is generally a bit run down. The food is mediocre. The attached pub charges 12.5% service charge even though you order at the bar. Or door lock broke and they made us wait by the door while the maintenance person was called who said they would attend when they were available. The staff seemed affronted when I went to ask where the maintenance person was and reluctantly attended to the issue. The suite rooms are subterranean with virtually no natural light - deceptive of Ibis not to mention that. Not a place I'll be returning to.
U. S.
Clear average rating. I think the hotel could easily do something to have a much better guest experience. The welcome service was very mechanic and I doesn't felt welcome. In the room was no Informationen about the hotel. The interior (in my opinion) could be easy modernized with the cost of one night. I didn't rest well because of noisy air conditions outside. But that is a very personal thing. The location direct next to ExCel was perfect for me. And there was everything available nearby what I needed.
E. O.
The hotel does not have to try very hard to be busy. It is just next door to the Excel centre. The rooms are simple if not basic. Nothing fancy which might just be what you need if you are going to a conference.
The hotel is in need of being redecorated.
The breakfast is uninspired. The buffet limited and the scrambled eggs were mediocre at best.
Overall, the hotel did the job, but did not delivered anything more than a basic service.
V. S.
Great location. Polite staff. Breakfast was good, the new refurbished rooms are great too. The problem: l was badly surprised to find out that there wasn't double room available for us, wich we've paid for in advance, because they have a policy of first come, first served basis...
By the way, the twin room we stayed first night, that the man at reception kindly offered us, was new and comfortable, but still twin, so we asked for next day move for a double as we wanted since began. So later a lady sent us for a double room... but so small and lower quality than the first one that we regretted to have changed. But we didn't wanted to mess up more so we just stayed there, but it wasn't our most pleasant experience.
J. W.
I found it very professional, clean, tidy. Room was large enough and fairly well equipped. My only faults are that: the mattress was harder than I like, so I felt a little sore in the morning, there is no bath (there is a walk in shower instead) but that is fair enough as the hotel is clearly interested in helping with environmental issues, and the restaurant was closed on the night of my stay. However we had a meal in the attached pub instead which was a fairly good standard so we didn't mind. I would recommend overall.
J. M.
The room was basic, but nice and comfortable. Very clean and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay, including towels and toileteries. Breakfast was ok, it was a continental breakfast so if you like ham and prunes you're in luck. There was a more limited selection on the breakfast buffet on the second morning (no pastries) but what they did have was nice enough. An English breakfast was available for a extra cost but we didn't want that. The hotel staff were very helpful and polite and the reception desk was open 24 hours so there was always someone.
S. P.
On Arrival at reception we was left standing waiting for somebody to check us in with a mobile phone, we was probably waiting between 5 and 10 minutes before we finally got checked in. There was also a member of staff being trained by the girl who was checking in guests as well so it caused a slight extra time delay.
A. A.
We had an amazing stay.
It is just off to “Custom House for Excel”, well connected and good prices.
The Staff (reception, cleaners etc) were very good.
The Queen Room we had it is very comfy, all clean, the room maid cleaned every single day, and also clean linen.. towels .. new toilet paper!. Maybe we were lucky on our room position, but it was quite and you could rest as you needed to.
Lovely breakfast service, you get to eat as buffet and really you can get as much as you want ..
*only thing*
( just to make a better service then it already was in any case :) ;) )
... We would improve the ‘breakfast pack/take away’ , I would provide take away coffee/Cappuccinos and a croissant from your choice ... But they were very nice in any case.
We really recommend it

It's a simple, functional hotel and does that very well. The location is fantastic for the west end of the Excel, felt like less than 10 minutes from the hotel as you're directly opposite and the walkway is 100m away (as will the dlr stop be when it opens late 2017) The reasonable size room has a bed (mattress is a little hard) and a bathroom, TV and plenty of sockets, what you'd expect from a budget hotel. The breakfast is not bad but not brilliant, not going to pass it up but would be disappointed if I'd paid for it. Only massive issue was the fire alarm that kept going off between 6 and 6.30 one morning, good thing I was up already!
T. G.
I would rate this as an acceptable place to stay. The rooms and bathrooms are very small, but acceptably clean. Most necessities are available (irons in separate area). Continental breakfast was good quality. The location is very convenient for ExCel and Custom House DLR (although room view was the platform). Parking was expensive and not intuitive. There was the classic smell of cleaner + cigarette smoke. Overall my stay was positive, however, I will probably choose a place to stay with more space next time.
G. H.
First day no air-condition, the next day they sent someone to repair it. The pillow is as hard as a stone so I just slept without the pillow. I value the hotel toilet very much and it didn't disappoint me! Clean and big. Overall is good.
M. H.
the staff was very nice. the hotel is close to a DLR station and about an hour from gatwick airport. breakfast was included and the buffet got restocked before anything ran out. the rooms are clean and have AC. there is no minibar on the room i stayed in, but the hotel has a restaurant and pub at ground level with excellent service, so in my opinion there is no need for one.
H. N.
The front desk and maintenance staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast okay. The tea bags, coffee and water would not be replenished during your stay. I found my bed sheet got wet after room cleaning.
E. T.
A very nice hotel, conveniently located close to the ExCel and provides good rooms and continental breakfast choices were good also. There is a bar/pub, which serves a good selection of food and drink.
Seems there are some refurbishments going on at the moment, but minimal noise and dust sheets on the carpets in some areas.
Overall, a good hotel to stay at if you need to be near the ExCel.
I. W.
Got a three night stay at a very good price, but booked 12 months ago. I think hotel has been refurbished and is very nice. Good breakfast. Our aircon was not working but we had a fan while they sort it. Staff pleasant.
L. “. G.
The room was extremely clean, however very dated. Breakfast was more than you expect, and I especially liked the scrambled eggs. Well cooked, not rubbery or runny.
Update the Decor and it will be perfect.

Had a night in the Ibis Styles at the Excel arena in London, easy check in, but only one lift was working which could result in delays. The room was clean and the bathroom was beautiful with a large walk in shower. When you are a large person these things make the experience so much better. The room also has a Samsung smart TV, very nice! Breakfast was help yourself but well stocked with all manner of delights. Would recommend you try.
E.
The breakfast are toasts and cereal, if you pay extra you get hot meal. The bed is 7/10, so its soft but not too soft, and hard but not uncomfortable, my back feels great.
The view from the room are great, the staff are polite, elevator spacy.
Good place.
d. s.
The rooms are a bit small but you cab rest well. The bathrooms I did not like at all it feels like you're stepping into a plastic portable bathroom but again does the job. Breakfast was ok but if you want English breakfast then you have to pay extra. It was ok but not great. Prices are good
R. M.
Great hotel. Very close to DLR (virtually across the road) so handy for connecting to the tube. Room was very clean and comfortable. Although there is work going on, did not affect me in any way. Breakfast was good, a choice of English or continental. No complaints. Would highly recommend.
C. B.
Recently stayed here for business.
The rooms were very small but were clean and practical. The staff were excellent and had no problems at any time.
We chose to eat here most nights and the food was great in both the pub and the restaurant.
Breakfast was plentiful although I found it very stuffy in the breakfast room.
All in all - would definately stay here again, for the price it was very good.

It’s a standard Ibis, with the standard facilities and services. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and the new area of bedrooms seems new. Breakfast is very good, with good choice and quantity.
Public transport right across the street is a plus.
However, we’ve hit some bumps while staying there. On our first night, around 00:30, the fire alarm went off, giving us the scare of our lives! One of our neighbouring guests offered to go to reception, as it only rang twice and stopped, with no fire evidence. It had been a drunk person, apparently - but no one of staff appeared to give any explanation nor to see if we were alright.
The next morning we’ve been waiting for approx. 1 hour for someone to come and fix our safe. Clearly it was understaffed.
Wifi is not fast, connection was always bad in our room.
The room is weirdly noisy, some bumps and buzzes go over and over at night.
S. A.
We checked in quite late in the night, and as we were a big group, the hotel didn't mind us crowding up the lobby. The rooms were a little hard to find because the labelling was confusing, but the rooms were stylish and interestingly designed. We couldn't use the shower, however, because the 'cubicle' was too small for us to fit in! However, the usual channels on the TV, fast Wi-Fi and the extras such as the tea and coffee make it worthwhile. Breakfast is included in the price as well, and there is everything you find in an English breakfast, including lovely hash browns. There is also a hot drink machine, cereal and fruit. A lovely hotel, would stay again!

A nice way to ease yourself from the week days stress, which is situated close to the Excel Centre and it is only just 3 minutes away. It has a clean environ and an appetising breakfast with lots of nice recipe. Tidy rooms and bed spread with a quality. The lighting systems were well arranged and the bathrooms were cozy. The window blinds were very nice with a beautiful colour wall painting. The rooms had a nice fragrance and even up to the reception and to the lift. I really had a great weekend. Looking forward to be there once again.
M. G.
The rooms here are fine. They were clean and well maintained. The noise from the DLR wasn't particularly noticeable, so the windows must have done a decent job! Also, I was glad to find out that the airport ceases flights at 10 pm. The breakfasts here were fine - not the best fry up I've had, but it was adequate. It felt fairly no-frills (no tomatoes or mushrooms for example). The on-site restaurant food was surprisingly good - I really wasn't expecting much, but it was good, and not too expensive. The shower cubicles are really very small - I kept bashing my elbows on the walls.
M. T.
Breakfast was mediocre quality, but ok. The room was also adequate. The decor was quite new. There is no toilet brush, I find that very strange. The food in the pub next to but was great.
S. R.
Good hotel, pretty clean, nice details such as shoe shiner in the lobby. Only annoying thing was my key card stopped working, and we were in a room pretty far from reception, having to walk back downstairs twice was a pain. But good hotel, especially for the price. Sausages at breakfast were not good and latte very very strong.
S. R.
Clean and very comfortable, looks like the hotel is under refurbishment which is very good. l was luck to get a new room. Lady Manager l think Cristian her name, she showed us the new rooms as we were a bit lost on the floors. we was assigned an old room but she changed to us and definitely changed our hotel experience. We will defo stay here again.
T. G.
Room for two was small and functional. The shower ist very small. You have to be careful when you turn around while showering. Breakfast is a mixture between Continental and English breakfast. But at the simple side.
For £80 power night it was OK.
Staff at the front desk seemed to be desinterested. At least the weren't able to return a greeting while leaving or entering the hotel.
I. B.
I chose the ibis Styles for three nights to attend a conference at the ExCel. As a quick summary: if you are very tall (1.90m+) or overweight, the bathroom might be a real challenge for you.
Here's my pros and cons:
Pros:
1) Hotel is close to the ExCel, just across the bridge.
2) Hotel is therefore also right next to the DLR (station Custom House).
3) There's a pub with direct access from the hotel. I haven't been there, but compared to the other (few) places in the area it has somewhat better reviews.
4) The room size (excluding bathroom) was OK and overall clean.
5) The room had an AC that could also be controlled separately from within the room to your own liking.
Cons:
1) The bathroom is a tiny shed-like thing stuffed into the room. The toilet is right in front of the sink, so you'll be using the sink from the side, where unfortunately also the shower is. For "normal" people this is annoying, but manageable. If you are very tall or heavy, you may have problems using this bathroom.
2) Though a good location for the ExCel, there is little else nearby in terms of restaurants / stores.
3) The WiFi is free, but connection is unstable and broke down about once every half hour for me (either fixes itself or reconnecting helps). The speed when it does work is acceptable and enough even for YT / Netflix.
4) The power sockets in my room were at the end of the bed – nothing off to the side. This is ridiculous as you cannot charge your phone over night and have it next to you. There's also no USB outlets anywhere (which would be a rather simple improvement here). I asked for an extension cord but couldn't get one.
5) The room was very noisy both from the hallway and the outside (Update: to clarify, I mean *if* there's noise, you can hear it; I didn't mean that it's a noisy neighborhood). I was "lucky" to be far from the elevators, it must be annoying to stay in a room closer to them.
6) The light switch at the bed is mounted like 10cm above the mattress. You *will* accidentally hit it with your head or back when laying / sitting in the bed.
Overall I'd say it has more the feeling of a cheap (but acceptable) motel than that of a hotel. For the prices charged I'd say it's too expensive, but not being from London maybe I have wrong expectations. I've stayed in better places for less. Nonetheless, there's nothing inherently wrong with this, so knowing the pros and cons, if that still sounds good, go ahead and book.
R. P.
Price-wise I'd think this place is asking just a touch more than I'd expect, but the amenities are clean enough. My room, the bedding, and halls all had signs of past stains which clearly had been washed. The rooms are functional, even if the toilets feel like you're in a camper-van. Breakfast is minimal and again is functional at best, consisting of cereal choices, fruit, yogurt and a somewhat continental meat/cheese option.
The location is a redeeming point for this place as it is literally moments from the excel exhibition centre.
TL:DR a tiny bit overpriced, basics only but clean and well kept hotel.
L. R.
Room was clean. Bathroom was like something from a static caravan and shower was warm trickle of tepid water. The shower handle was broken so when it was switched off you got a blast of cold water. Very outdated hotel. We went to the modern Ibis Excel by mistake before we arrived at Ibis styles and couldn't understand how an Excel hotel could be like something from the 60s-70s with pebble dash wall paper and lurid colours as surely it can't be that old! If I hadn't paid £190 for the room I wouldn't have cared. When we told reception that the shower was not working well on departure the general manager was at reception and said had he known, he would have personally come and mended it. My friend told him it looked terminal and we doubt that even if we had wanted someone in our room whilst showering at 8am, he could have mended it!
Bizarrely when I phoned the night before to check my booking, the phone said "welcome to the Ibis styles" but after ages trying to get through, I ended up being put through to Novotel Waterloo. I was told it was their sister hotel but they couldn't help me.
The staff on reception and the general manager were very friendly but there are better hotels nearby if you have the option.
M. S.
Nice clean rooms & excellent service: I arrived at 8:30am, expecting to only be able to do my bag off. But I was able to check straight in and get a few hours sleep before facing the day!
Quite handy for Excel Centre too.
N. W.
Location is great for transport links and obviously access to the Excel centre. I would recommend ensuring that you get a parking space on site rather than on the street just for peace of mind.
The hotel its self is clean spacious but beginning to look a little dated, the room was well equipped for a one night stay and offers a very good full English and continental breakfast. Overall just about get your monies worth because breakfast so enjoy
C. P.
Been here last night, good, clean hotel. At the moment they are updating all te rooms. The room itself was clean, good size and comfortable. Breakfast fine with scrambled eggs, various kind of bread and fresh fruit and yochurt. Will def come back. Location verry close to Custom House Excell DLR station
A. F.
Great value and location, new bedrooms and bathrooms, big improvement. Hotel still having refurb....not aware of any noise during our stay. Dining room for breakfast basic but functional. In house pub, very dated and tired....perhaps that's down for refurb too? Staff very good, friendly and attentive. Would use again.
M. H.
The hotel is nice and friendly. We booked a studio apartment for MCM Comic Con and were given an apartment with a separate bedroom which was a huge bonus. Expected a double bed and got something a lot closer to a king size! The pub is very reasonably priced for London, the staff are super helpful and friendly. The apartment has a fridge, microwave and crockery. All the Sky channels on the TV.
I really love the colourful decor too!
M. H.
Overall the room was clean, the bathroom had a strong smell coming from the drains which wasn't helped when we couldn't open the window. The breakfast was nice. The receptionist tried to charge me for three days for the car park, when i quesioned it they knocked it down to two nights which is the correct amount. Location was ideal, 2 minutes from the DLR trainline
f. w.
Great hotel in a good location for events in the Excel. Staff are not overly friendly and breakfast room staff felt like we were an inconvenience to them. Would have scored extra star for staff if they were better and knocked 1 star off for very poor breakfast. They had nothing except toast and cold meats, it might of been in the process of being refreshed but no staff to advise of this and after waiting 5 minutes I gave up and had a bit of toast !
B.
The room was clean. The shower curtain did not keep the water within the shower (so the bathroom floor got all wet). The AC did not work and when we asked someone to come to the room to check on it, we were told someone would be right up.... but no one ever showed up. The next night we asked for a fan but were told they had no more fans available.
W. W.
Have a great time and New Year, great place, clean, my room was smell really Good and Lovely lol, easy to find and coming up the DLR Costume for House ExCel is in front of the Hotel, going to be Hit for those expect to London City Airport. Traditional English Breakfast was also good. Overall is lovely stay. Thank You for great Services.
J. D.
Close to the Excel Centre. Due to renovations not at its best state. Probably much better after this. Aircondition in the backyard is really noisy. TV didn't work. Carpet had many stains. Bed clean. Washroom also very clean. If your main point is to be close exhibition centre, it is perfect. For a tourist trip not recommended except you want to visit this particular area. DLR station is 3 min walk.
R. O. T. L.
Luckily this hotel is located near a DLR station (not Royal Victoria, like Google Maps would have you believe, but Custom House) because it's a long train ride into town. The room was fairly tiny - smaller than that of its competitors by some way. The bathroom reminded me of modern university halls, not a good thing by any measure. You can use the toilet while having a shower and brush your teeth all at once. The breakfast reminded me of what you'd expect at secondary school, the two best items were the baked beans and the bread rolls. The staff, however, were very friendly, I'll give them that.
P. B.
I stayed at Ibis for the Vet show at the excel and the location was very handy as the event was just 5 min from the hotel. Very clean room, nice atmosphere, reception staff friendly. One of the floor supervisors was very helpful as l lost my phone charger at the Excel and l think Margarida is her name give me one charger during my stay. Thanks for making my stay special.
M. W.
Hotel is nice and close to the DLR station and only a 5 min walk to the excel centre. The hotel itself is ok. Rooms were on the small side. The air con in the room did not make much difference. Also the bathrooms are incredibly small with just a small curtained area for the shower. Breakfast was what you would expect but they kept running out of certain foods even though it was not particularly busy. Wifi in the room would disconnect often making it very difficult to watch any streaming service.
G. S.
It's just over an hour by London Transport from Victoria Station and 15 minutes from the O2 so ideal for me attending gigs. There's a 'chippy' and convenience store round the corner if you don't want to splash out on food and if your feeling energetic you can walk to the Olympic Park in Stratford - it's only 3 and a half miles away....on the downside all the tall buildings in the area have created 'wind tunnels' which wasn't pleasant at the weekend ! The room is very basic but a comfortable bed with a warm shower and tea- making facilities is really all I'm looking for on these trips.
D. S.
Very pleased with this hotel. It had a nice typical English breakfast and clean rooms. The only thing that was bad was a loud noise from the air conditioning system from the outside, but the window isolated most of the sound.
Y. R.
Well done, l've been at this hotel before and i can see a lot of improvement as they are renovating the rooms. last time l stayed in a dated room facing the car park very clean but old this time l was pleased to stayed in a new room, spotless and comfortable. Well done l really enjoyed my stay.
S. A. R. (.
The hotel itself was great, a little small as an American but I have no major complaints. Bar downstairs was decent as well. Only complaint would be the location...If you're looking for a night life that is nearby...This is not it...However! The metro is in walking distance!
K. W.
Great for short break stopover or brilliant if visiting Excell. Going through refurb so bit of mess but not excessive. Was a little noisy, room was near enough opposite the lift so disturbed a few times so knocked a star off. May be worth asking for move if you get one of these. No hot breakfast but the continental was more than enough with plenty of chooses. Meats cheeses cereals fruit etc. Was expecting just like a snack box style but not the case. DLR Station straight opposite so excellent if heading into London centre. Also on site parking though payable not too costly.
F. M.
Hotel is average, but then it is much cheaper than most of the London hotels, so you get what you pay for. That said, the room and bathroom were clean and tidy, and had everything I needed for a two night stay. Also, next to DLR station which is a big help. Would recommend for youngsters needing a place to crash for a night or two.
B. R.
Great location opposite ExCel centre and Custom House DLR. Pub, Restaurant and Cafe on the Ground Floor. Free morning Breakfast on the first floor. Very clean hotel and rooms. Staff helpful and friendly. Looking forward to staying again as its close to Royal Docks and Emirates cable car going to the o2 arena!
B. A.
Decent hotel for an overnight stay, room was small but comfortable, adequate for over night but would be claustrophobic for a longer stay. Breakfast was included and the food prepared was of a high standard. The location of the hotel is ideal for the excel and only 5-10 minute walk to the Emirates airline cable car leading to the O2 peninsula. The hotel is situated right next to a DLR station that is currently being renovated, once this work is completed the hotel will be in a prime location to reach other destinations around London
L. M.
Very good value for money, breakfast included is great staff were friendly and room was clean. The room was small, particularly the bathroom, and the dated TV and lack of plugs (only 2, none near the bed, even the kettle doesn't have a designated socket) made me rate 4.
A. B.
The room was very old and bad maintained. The bathroom had fungous between the tiles and there was still hair in it from the last visitors. So if Ibis budget has a higher standard I wonder what the "styles" stands for?!
D. M.
Easy access to the Excel and located next to the DLR. Quiet when we stayed. Adequate breakfast. Clean room with nice bathroom with ample shower. Helpful staff. Parking at £15 a day if required.
C. H.
Small rooms yes - but they have everything you need. The room we stayed in had a desk the running along one wall under the window which was handy. We only stayed one night for a concert at the O2. There's a DLR stop close by or a bus would get you to canning town where it's only one stop to North Greenwich station at the O2. We walked to canning town as it was only 20 minutes. Everything here was clean, nest and tidy. There's a Handy travel companion smartphone in the room that you can use for free with unlimited use.
My only gripe is the hand, body and hair shampoo left everything feeling greasy and still soapy. Bring your own shampoo! On the walk back from the station it was past 11 at night didn't feel unsafe at all. There's some construction going on and the rest of it is a little bit run down. Would stay here again for the next concert I attended at the O2 as most of the crowd were going on the tube In the other direction.
M. P.
The hotel has a strategic position to the ExCel exibition center, very near but out of the main routes. The rooms are small but clean and quiet, they probably need a renewal. It also has a conference center. Staff very professional and friendly. Best suited for business trip.
F. K. S.
nice hotel, good prices and great breakfast.
there are only a few things to keep in mind. you get what you pay for:
1) there are almost no hangers for the coats, only in the closet. there's one in the bathroom, but after a rainy day I'm not sure if I'd put my coat there.
2) the shower cabin is really small. looking on the bright side you can't really slip and fall on the floor, max you'll accomplish is to hit the wall with your face. if you drop something... you have a problem. the cabin is also not friendly to chubbier people
M. T. B.
The location is in a residential medium/low class neighborhood. Its was kinda weird but it was close to the DLR metro line.
There will be (in the future) a station right in front of the hotel which is awesome. Taking two trains you are in the big ben.
About the hotel it was okay. Decent breakfast, the room was nice and clean. For that price it was a great hotel.
J. T.
Considering it looks pretty cheap from some of the pics and the outside, it's actually a really great budget hotel. The breakfast in the morning wasn't bad either.
The room was a nice size, not a fan of the small letterbox window in the roof, but for me to sleep in while working in London, it was perfect.
O. H.
Visited on a tour with my school. The room was small. I hated the bathroom water would get out and the curtain would stick to my body everytime could barely move. They had a limited selection of breakfast it was good nonetheless. Regular and chocolate filled Crossiants(10/10 recommend). Ham, cheese. Different types if bread. Tea and Coffee. Juice machine of grapefruit, orange and apple. They had muffins too.
H. H.
Nice hotel with everything you need. Close to Excel London, so a good hotel to choose if you're going there.
Small rooms with clean bathrooms, a little desk with possibility to make coffee or tea. The room also has usb-sockets in addition to regular uk-sockets, very nice.
Breakfast is simple, but good.
J. C.
Simple but clean, friendly nice little hotel. Adequate room especially if you are just needing it for resting. Ideal location for visiting Excel. Continental and full English breakfast available. Always someone at Reception, very nice friendly staff. Cafe within as well.
C. D.
What you pay is what you got and the room was cheap so the interior room was very basic and very small. The good thing is that you have a sort of phone in your bedroom that foreign tourist can use to guide themselves in London so that's a good extra. Very basic breakfast.
W.
Me and my girlfriend stayed here recently and found it to be a more than adequate hotel. Parking was easy to use and the rooms were clean and spacious enough. Good area to travel into the centre of London from, especially on the nearby Fly Emirates Cable car.
D. L.
Room is small but adequate for the two nights we stopped. As everyone has said en suite is a little on small side but no real problem with this. This is at least 35 mins from euston station but so easy on trains and dlr so don't let that put you off as they run every 5 mins or so! A taxi from kings cross/euston fare will b about 35 pounds if not more. Get on trains/underground from euston/kings cross as dlr is literally outside hotel door but no noise noticed in our room on third floor. Breakfast again is adequate, mixture of hot food, cereals and continental although a little crammed in breakfast room. Overall stay has been enjoyable. Pleasant staff also. Overall would come back to be honest. Hope this helps!
H. C.
Loved the Ibis styles hotel. It is a basic hotel at first glance but what other hotels give you an Iron that actually irons your clothes, a microwave, your own sky hd box and a mobile phone for the duration of your stay. Comfy bed and a decent breakfast. Very happy with my stay.
T. D. K. “. D. K.
As a local resident. I frequent the bar in the hotel. I can say, all the staff are very welcoming and pleasant.
There is a chap who works there, by the name of Valentine.
He always makes time to greet me and is always friendly. Asking about my general well being. A very well mannered young man, who surely will be going places within this establishment.
He is very good at his job, always seems to have time for staff that working with him and seems to be the go to guy when on shift.
he and the others, make a very nice atmosphere when I frequent this bar.
And will be visiting more in the future.
L. Y.
No fridges in room, but free WiFi and Aircon. Breakfast was included which was surprising but was just croissants, cereal, ham and cheese. Beds were comfy. Shower flooded. Noisy despite being at the end of a corridor. Convenient location to the DLR and excel though.
J. K.
Nice and very clean rooms, Thanks for cleaning girl left our heating in the room on, when we arrived back from town , room was nice and warm. Reception Staff didn't acknowledge me when l arrived in the afternoon had to wait until they finish they talking but in the end all went fine.
F. A.
Checked into our room, all was well and staff were friendly. Room was basic so we upgraded from a queen room to a studio apartment, well worth the money. Great access to DLR and excel centre. Food was good and the pub was cosey
N. N.
Great location for Excel London, also near to DLR and plenty of restaurants. Good rates and friendly service. However only two small lifts for all of the guests. There were long queues for the lifts during peak hours, especially when one of the lifts became out of service. Also the shower door didn't seal properly and the drain was clogged. Only had one electrical outlet in the room and it had to be shared with the kettle and all of our phones/gadgets.
S. T.
The room was large enough, clean, breakfast excellent, quiet at night and the staff attentive to anything I needed. Far more than I had expected for the price. What do you expect? Herds of wilderbeast? Etc
M. v. G.
Ibis Styles London is actually pretty well located, there's a railstation right next to it and the city centre is easy to reach. The hotel staff is very friendly and the breakfast is good. We booked a double room for our trip and I have to say that it's actually too tiny for two tall people... nevermind, it's enough for sleeping.
L. B.
Amazing location at a great price for the weekend I needed it for. Helpful staff. Only one thing I'd recommend is getting at two cleaners to a floor because every room is a hard job for one person. They still do an amazing job though.
E. C.
Room right outside tube which is currently closed. Room very small. Definately received better value for money at competitors inc. within london. Most of the staff were nice but check in person was rude. Housekeeping entered room without knocking. Dont use for more than a night
L. S. R.
Awfully small rooms: if you're carrying more than two bags, you won't be able to open both at the same time. The restaurant/pub is OK. The hotel staff can be a bit rude, but the breakfast staff try did a good job, especially considering how crowded the tables were. Before booking, check the time spent from the hotel to the places you want to be. Also check if the Custom ExCel DLR station is working.
J. K.
This hotel is most reasonable price around the Excel. This place closed from the tube. Just 3 or 5 minutes by walking. However, this hotel is too far away from the Heathrow airport. It might take a 1 or 1 hour half depand on traffic time. Also, the hotel provides to early breakfast and free wifi service. I would recommend this place to a business person. Not for a tourist deu to far away from the downtown of London.
S. W.
Loved it, Small but comfy, friendly staff, great location. Will stay again. If You Want A Five Star Hotel be ready to spend seriously big dosh. Here, It does exactly what it says on the tin. Next door is a Great Little Pub, Good Food Good Beer.
R. N.
Went in and card was declined. Took a few tries for their card reader to work properly. Room was alright though the light switches by the twin beds didn't work properly. Breakfast was like hell with so many people rushing and pushing each other trying to get food. At the end though, staff was nice to look after our goods for a few hours in storage while I went to London comic con. They also booked a taxi for me to get to the nearest subway station. Was an alright visit, there weren't any major problems other than the card decline mistake.
A. T.
I had to move rooms 2 times due to how water issues, the staff really looked after me and helped out with everything whilst I had this trouble. I stayed here for 4 nights and it's really well looked after, 2 secs away from local shops and the expo. Would recommend this for a relatively cheap and welcoming stay.
M. K.
It's a cheap hotel. Bathroom is too narrow and if you have a electrical shaver there's no outlet. Maybe other rooms are better. As it's nearby the airport there is noise. Positive side, it's clean.
T. L.
Really nice, clean and spacious room with friendly staff and a decent breakfast at a really convenient location. It would be perfect if the wifi was a little better, the room was a bit warmer and there was hot food for breakfast!
N. A.
OK place for a night or two.Stuff is friendly, breakfast is basic, rooms are small but clean, a pub with OK variety of foods and drinks on premises. This hotel is right in front of "Custom house" station - lovely!
L. S.
I haven't had possibility to see the Hotel completely and my floor was in restauration, but is a good solution to visit London.
Good connections for moving (DLR is very near!).
Typical English breakfast.
M. B.
Basic rooms, fairly clean, decent breakfast. Right next to Customs House DLR station (although it's closed till December 2017 it's a 5-10 min walk to next nearest) and takes 20 minutes to get to the city. Prices are cheap but don't expect to get more than you pay for.
R. B.
The location is a plus, very close to DLR station. Good for travelers. Free Breakfast is a plus. Rooms are smaller and maintenance could be improved. Storage rooms to hold baggages is a plus.
B. W.
The room was okay. The bathroom was very small and the air conditioning didn’t work, but there was a lovely pub next door and it is walking distance from the DLR which is super handy.
K. M.
Excellent, clean, friendly and great value for money.
Room was immaculate, although en-suite on small side, it was adequate for an over-night stay.
Breakfast was fine.
Perfectly acceptable and friendly budget hotel. Would recommend.
M. N.
I was impressed with the hotel and had a great stay. The only disappointment was being woken up by a strange noise from the air conditioning unit in the night. I'm not sure if the noise was made by a fault, is what it normally does or if it was something I did. Other than that annoyance, I highly recommend
R. T.
Stayed here for two nights and enjoyed my stay.
The room was always kept clean, staff was very friendly and the food was great.
Excellent transport links into center of London.
I will definitely stay here again great value for money.
C. c.
Amazing friendly staff. Lovely clean cozy rooms. Even 2 free bottles of water on arrival. Nice buffet breakfast super clean super helpful staff in the breakfast buffet and super location 2 minutes walk to dlr
G. S.
Fantastic Hotel with larger apartments. Also has a restaurant and a Pub and even better that Custom House Docklands Light Railway Station is now re opened after the Crossrail refurb. So you get off the train and the Hotel is bang opposite the entrance!
w. h.
Breakfast was really good, the room well, it seemed to me on check in they were not expecting us, and this showed, as to the room they put us in, they were humming and areing as to where to put us, they ended up putting us in a family room, (only 2 of us) its was the worst room I have ever been in
M. D.
Plus for good location with convinient dlr line, clean but quite oldish rooms. Dissapointed with the bathroom which appreard to be a tiny room hidden behind closet doors. Breakfast very good, i would advise to add some fresh vegetables.
S. K.
Very friendly staff and helpful. Room was clean and good variety of food for breakfast. Free & Fast WiFi which was a bonus. Only a few minutes walk from the Custom House DLR station, so its at an ideal location.
k. s.
Great location, rooms were clean and tidy but unfortunately the breakfast was terrible (very little choice and half the things weren't there (like no hot water for a cup of tea!) when we came down for breakfast at about 9:30 am)
H. B.
My stay at Ibis Styles was 5 star! Accommodation was faultless, staff were friendly, helpful and had brilliant humour and went beyond 5 star. Nothing was a problem. I have booked again since my first stay and would recommend.
L. R.
Clean rooms with regular standard. Bathrooms newly renovated, very nice. Breakfast a disappointment, I would have liked more options such as eggs and more than just two spreads.
K. C.
Heap and does the job, not up to Premier Inn. Beds were clean, shower rooms are ludicrously small but they did have lovely hot water, think of showering in a caravan.
Breakfast was continental on Floor 1 from 6:30-10am, with the full English on the Ground floor (extra charge) from 8-10am.
R. C.
Not big breakfast if i compare with other Styles. With better breakfast 5 stars. About receptionist she deserves 5 stars. I wish come back soon.
C. A.
it's an ok place, room decent the service is minimal. Close location to the excel centre however if you are a fan of a hearty breakfast be prepared to pay a little extra the standard breakfast not the best.
C. R. K.
It was great for quick travel. Shower was tiny, but clean. My elbow kept hitting the curved wall while the wet curtain touch my legs. The pub was nice.
S. C.
The staff are all extremely friendly, and helpful. The room size is good, not too expensive for the area of London and each room comes with WiFi and a personal assistant handset, which has 4g and free calls.
N. V.
Cheap, well located, rooms are basic but more than acceptable as a budget hotel. On site restaurant and bar with plenty of choice. Breakfast is good. Just a few minutes walk to London excel. Great value budget hotel.
c. m.
The Hotel was conveniently located near a tube station that could take you to the heart of London. The hotel room was nice as we're the people. The only complaint was that the shower was a plastic tube. It was just too small.
J. H.
The staff were exceptionally friendly, courteous and helpful. The room was lovely, and all areas of the hotel were really clean. Thank you so much to the staff for making our stay in London so enjoyable.
C. R.
Clean, friendly, comfortable and well located. But quite a dated building, obvious that it's just been touched up round the edges. I've stayed at nicer, more modern Ibis Styles
H. D.
The room was good, bathroom slightly small. Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. The pub on the other hand was below standard with poor service.
M. T.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Undergoing a needed refurbishment. Rooms fare size. Bed's comfortable. Ensuite rather small. Floor in ensuite very slippery when wet. Overall a really good experience and well recommend.
M. C.
Rooms are really weird especially the bathroom, heating was broken maybe just in my room and they should do something about the lights, you can't just have those small ones to read the book because the stronger ones are switching on too and you can't do anything about that. Price is too expensive for what you get.
A. T.
Nothing wrong with it but lacks character.
Handy for the DLR and the Excel but so are plenty of other hotels.
An abject lesson in how to remove the soul and excitement from your stay in London. Get an Airbnb instead.
J. V.
A nice hotel that's located across a tube station (DLR). Friendly and attentive staff. The only con is the breakfast which was a bit disappointing, but it was fine.
S. W. V.
Budget hotel for the area but rooms are quite cold and noisy with the construction opposite with thin duvets. Breakfast is plentiful, enough to fill your belly ahead of exhibiting all day at London ExCeL opposite
M. N.
Staff is very friendly. But please same breakfast every morning? Do sth about it! Also sockets to each bed, each side, even if you separate a double! And pls buy a contactless card terminal to the bar!
M. W.
Basic but clean hotel with a brilliant location, a short walk from Custom House DLR and easy access to London Excel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Let down by very noisy air-conditioning
C. B.
All good. Great rate, quick check-in, reasonable parking and great room. Breakfast great too. A little street noise from road-facing room.
R. K.
Went to the pub inside the ibis styles for dinner & drinks with my mum after the professional beauty exhibition because they accept tastecard. I had spaghetti bolognaise and my mum had a buger. Mum really enjoyed her burger my spaghetti bolognaise was ok. Not bad for 2 mains 2 sides and 2 drinks for under £20 with the tastecard discount.
P. B.
Excellent great value and really close to Excell or the O2 superb breakfast was great beds comfy and rooms super make sure you stay on the newly refurbished 4th floor
S. Y.
Clean, tidy, excellent all round. Staff helpfull and polite. Exceptional Breakfast. Can't recommend this place enough. Value for money to say the least!! Try yourself, you will be pleasantly surprised.
J. C.
Lovely staff, lovely breakfast.. Great links to London.. Room was spotless and beds mega comfy.. Can't fault this at all.. And there's a pub next door ❤️
I. K.
Rooms are clean but very compact. Good hotel service and complementary breakfast is good. Hotel location isn't great it's far from central.
A. D.
Hotel is fine, not special. Food isn't great. location near underground: 40 mins to Londen central. Next time we'll take a hotel closer to the city.
M. J.
Hotel room was nice and it had an AC, but the breakfast was horrible, and I'm usually not that picky. The only thing I could eat of the breakfast was a cup of tea and toast with marmelad. Stay for the room, but get breakfast some place else.
H. T.
Great location for the Excel exhibition centre. There's not much in the way of evening entertainment though. However, getting g to Canary Wharf is easy via the DLR. Bathroom is tiny and shower very claustrophobic.
s. m.
Lovely place staff really friendly rooms are nice but only got 4 Stars as could not get breakfast at 4.30am as I was doing a job that left early I would not of minded even some serial
A. I.
Really good value for money. Good breakfast which kept us going for the day. Only issue was the air con unit which kept making quite a bit of noise even though it was switched off!
C. J.
Hello, my name is Jana , from Bucharest, and I'm spending two nights in this hotel in the room 409. Everything is so nice here, clean and friendly
Sherif and his team from the front desk are great!!! Usefull, polite, smart and very kind
The hotel is excelent considering the money we paid
I can say is GREAT
B.
Nice hotel, nice pub next door and clean rooms, well looked after, more there than you'd think for breakfast.
I. H.
The bar is trying to replicate a pub experience and has a strange mix of guests at the hotel and local workers. The food is a little overpriced but a good selection of lagers, sport on tv and a pool table.
T. G.
Great breakfast, decently clean and quiet. Small bathroom but well worth the money considering it was only £45. Good access to DLR too.
G. K.
noisy rooms. I dont know if its the blumbing or the AC but there are weird noises which you can hear especially at night. nice and clean bathroom
L. M.
Internet signal is spotty, mostly doesn't work. Shower space is very small but works fine. Full breakfast provided with proof of room number.
A. C.
It was clean and what you would expect from a budget hotel. I slept fine and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was acceptable. I would stay here again
M. S.
Very Clean, Polite staff, ladies on the floors very helpful. We were lost didn't know the breakfast and one of the housekeeping ladies helped with directions. 445
G. B.
A very good experience at this hotel with a pleasant atmosphere helpful staff - at a great price ! :)
Quiet at night, zero noise outside of weekday working.
I'll be back again.
A. K.
Bathroom really small and had a strange smell to it. Room very noisy and internet poor. Staff were nice enough though and room was clean as expected.
T. N.
Friendly staff and efficient check in. Tiny room looking a bit tired. If you are just laying you head, it is fine. Good and fun pub next door.
B. K.
It is acceptable but its rooms are very cold.
The restaurant is very.
The employers are good.
C. P.
Amazing food and room! The room does not have a sofa however we have a triple room. It has a TV, Wi-Fi and a ensuite bathroom.
J. W.
The staff at Ibis Styles Hotel are providing an excellent level of service under extremely challenging circumstances, supporting the NHS during the construction of the Nightingale Hospital. Well done Ibis Syles ExCel
A.
Room clean and simple. Wifi free, staff very friendly and helpful ... kitchen staff also especially Ashmid, he takes special interest in people.
D. G.
Great value rooms, comfortable beds, located ideally opposite Custom House DLR Station and the ExCeL. Cafe and pub on site offer food and drink all day round.
B. A. H.
Perfect location close to the exhibition center. Ibis standard - you get what you pay for... Room was clean, breakfast substaintial, staff very nice.
K. P.
Good Location, very clean and fresh rooms, breakfast could be better and the breakfast staff attitude should be more positive, other than that was a pleasant stay
B. N.
Cheap and cheerful, locations not bad for the Olympic stadium or o2 arena, uber drivers can't find it though as the postcode takes them elsewhere, black cab got us straight there, but £50 fare from Kings Cross.
b. c.
For the cost, it was fine but they are in the middle of renovations. The staff where friendly and the breakfast was decent.
h. w.
Surprisingly good. Was not expecting much, but the room turned out to be clean and comfortable. Breakfast was quite nice. The staff was helpful.
M.
Very near to London Excel. So if attending an event in London Excel, I would recommend the hotel.
Slightly expensive.
E. K.
Good location. Rooms small and very basic. Decor is dated. Noise from the restaurant travels up
K. L.
Great location to DLR ( direct light rail) to any station to get around London
Hotel was comfortable and breakfast was ok, staff seemed pleasant
Would recommend this hotel
C. R.
Clean, friendly, comfortable and well located. But quite a dated building, obvious that it's just been touched up round the edges. I've stayed at nicer, more modern Ibis Styles
m. d.
Brilliant as a last minute booking a little way out but an easy journey on the tube & dlr. Excellent service from all staff
C. W.
Excellent hotel! Will be back again for my 4th stay on Mcm London weekend!
L. P.
Good, clean no nonsense hotel and very reasonably priced. Close enough to central London with excellent travel links
C. B.
I had a great experience at this hotel, Room very clean and the food was good too. Had a very pleasant stay
e. s.
Budget functional hotel, clean room although got wrong one to start with. Tiny shower room. Breakfast poor, stale pastries and gone off fruit bowl.
B. M.
Room was old looking and not well kept. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was pretty small but serviceable. Quite pricey for what it was.
K. L.
Great location to DLR ( direct light rail) to any station to get around London
Hotel was comfortable and breakfast was ok, staff seemed pleasant
Would recommend this hotel
V.
The hostel was clean, there were many options when it comes to breakfast, they even offered soy milk!
The hostel is not really central, you need to take the Underground when you want to go to the city centre!
K. T.
Very busy and noisy hotel. Mainly due to kids and holiday period. Otherwise its std ibis hotel, functional, practical and comfortable
T. M.
Great location for Excel. Will be better once renovations finished. Breakfast was good. Plenty of choice. Pub food also good.
M. s.
Very nice hotel, I didn't pay for the ritz or savoy so I didn't expect the same service - staff are nice and friendly, rooms clean and tidy, breakfast was good - I got the service I paid for
B. D.
Very nice hotel. Food was amazing. Best hash browns I've ever had in my life. Can't wait to go back!
B. W.
Good basic hotel with average breakfast included. Nothing special but definitely does the trick for a nice price.
P. H.
Fine hotel, Nice beds but you dont have to expect a lot of the breakfast it was disapointing. Location is an hour of cindy centre
P. S.
Tired hotel needs updating. Shaver socket and extractor didn't work in the bathroom. Parking was expensive. No English breakfast unless you pay extra.
C. T.
Excellent support and help from staff and Ibis Styles Manager, Olivier, recently. I will be going back to Ibis Styles again for conferences in the future!
G. D.
Rooms are small but functional, but the location is excellent for either the Excel arena or the O2. Just a cable car ride across the Thames to the O2. Good for the money!
P. O.
Small room but ample. Reception staff were adequate. Enjoyed the stay. Local to Excel.
V. A.
It was pretty good with decent rooms, great breakfast and with better access to London coming soon when cross rail opens
K. H.
Basic but well presented budget hotel. Ideal for access to the Excel arena across the road. Good restaurant on site and also lots of eateries nearby.
L. W.
The hotel is excellent 😁 The food was delicious and the rooms are nice and cosy for the price. Definitely coming back here again 😁
R. W.
Room is very small and service brang our pudding out before even finished our mains but chef is amazing sorted the menu out for better food
N. B.
I've visited and enjoyed the pub without any problems.
The hotel offer free parking even if you are only using the pub without being checked in.
r. c.
Handy for the Excel, air con worked, good standard of service and staff with a sense of humor. Ensuite a little cramped. Cheap and cheerful would be happy to stay again
A. C. (.
Rooms are clean and do exactly what you need them to. Great little mobile help tablet in the room, you can take this around London with you.
S. B.
Great features, nice sized room, free phone to use within.london, bathroom wet room a little too small. Overall good service.
T. S.
Visited a friend who was staying, good size room, bathroom is bit compact, room was clean. Staffs were polite.
A. D.
Basic but comprehensive accommodation and friendly and helpful staff. Tea and coffee facilities in the room always make me happy.
i. m.
Decent enough hotel, rooms fairly small but a decent enough breakfast and good location (next door to the excel)
C. B.
I had a great experience at this hotel, Room very clean and the food was good too. Had a very pleasant stay
j. c.
Great place for short stay, clean rooms ,bathroom on a smaller side but very functional, superb breakfasts and very friendly staff
E. K.
Good location. Rooms small and very basic. Decor is dated. Noise from the restaurant travels up
E. S.
Great hotel, definitely worth the money
Good breakfast, clean and cozy room.
Great location for the O2
M. D.
I was only passing by to visit a friend in their hotel room and the staff seemed helpful and the hotel itself looked nice.
Unbiased as I have never used IBIS.
J. G.
Clean and cosy rooms, everything that you need for short term stay. Very close to Excel conference hall.
m.
Basic as we thought but for the money £91 for a Saturday night we thought a fair price ..staff friendly overall was ok for one night stay mark
M. B.
A great hotel in a fab location which is very well priced. Trains running right outside hotel, comfy beds, lovely breakfast menu!
C. p.
Cheap and cheerful. Rooms basic but comfortable. Ideally located next to the excel London exhibition centre and transport links into the city.
M. M.
The price is ok and it's near Excel, that's about all the positives. Breakfast is minimal, my room smells like foot sweat and is cold.
S. A.
Used the room from day book... small but cozy room.... good for my purpose. Great pub next door.
S. M.
Great location, shopping stores, train, bus stop near by. All types of rooms available. Great staff and good food.
A. G.
Had to pay for bottled water, in other ibis hotels i haven't had to, air con doesn't work, plug sockets are away from the bed and there was only one in the entire room and it was behind the tv
A. B.
Friendly staff, clean bright rooms and really comfortable beds, amazing budget hotel.
L. R.
The rooms, staff and bar are all of great quality. The design of the ibis styles is in the name, "stylish".
J. G.
Fab place ! Can’t fault it for the money so close to the train station , and the 02 ! Will stay again writing review as I’m here so warm & comfy staff also very helpful highly recommend
a. l.
Lovely hotel & well placed for London. Beautiful staff & food 5*. Definately going back
R. M.
Clean, good bed. Simple but does the job. Right next to station and Exel building. Pubs and restaurants on doorstep.
R. C.
It's a tired 80's hotel! The attached bar serving food, expensive! And very expensive when considering the quality! If you are hungry you will eat it, if not you will not! Jump on the DLR and go and find somewhere else to eat!
S. d. B.
Stayed 5 nights, well worth it, would stay here again. The restaurant is something to behold well worth visiting
G. L.
Very handy for Excel London and just steps away from Custom House DLR station. Small but reasonably priced rooms.
J. B.
I got a free upgrade to an apartment because of a system error in the hotel. Very happy with the service!
D. H.
Ok for what I needed and got an upgrade for free. Bed really comfortable but bathroom smelt of stagnant water and the breakfast was poor.
J. A.
Great staff, hotel a bit dated and could benefit from better noise insulation. Convenient for DLR and future Elizabeth line.
M. J.
The room is basic but the food served in the pub is better than expected and the breakfast is ok as well.
L. P.
Good, clean no nonsense hotel and very reasonably priced. Close enough to central London with excellent travel links
R. G.
Good hotel! Tiny rooms but very good price! Good continental breakfast!
l. t.
Lovely staff. Clean rooms, a bit small but ok for our short visit.
J. J.
Value for money. Breakfast menu had good options but the food was somewhat bland.
M.
Loved our apartment. Just a bit noisy at night time because of the road and pub upstairs so difficult to sleep.
M. P.
Easily accessible as right outside custom house DLR station, tea and coffee, cooked breakfast, comfy beds but bathroom on the small side.
T. B.
The only thing I can say that's a negative is the view from the window, all you could see was a roof but we didn't care about the view, other than that it was a good stay, would stay there again
H. A. Ç. (.
İts good but all carpets dirty in the room there is no europe charger pot that's it
L. K.
Three stars = It's OK. The room was OK.
Five stars = Loved it. Loved the food.
So have it 4 stars.
A. N.
No hangers for clothes or towels. No brush for the toilet. No vegetables at brekfast. A little bit too far from the center.
R. J.
Definitely acceptable. Not too expensive. A little way out of the centre but only a 30 minute journey into central London.

Friendly staff. Quick check in and check out. Good breakfast. Comfortable rooms.

Very close to exhibition site. Room ok, but a little lower level than known from same hotel group in other countries.

I was there for a professional training so I got to see just the hall, the bistro, the outside area and the conference room. Friendly personnel and good facilities.

OK. Good buffet breakfast. Just a bit noisy in a roadside room.
A. R. L.
Not bad and affordable hotel near excell. Under partial refurbishment.
D. Y.

It’s fine. The beds are excellent, only the tiny bathroom was a bummer.
P. L. G.
Great place to stay, nice firm mattress on the bed and clean ensuite bathroom.
L. P.
close to london city airport, don't mistake it with other IBIS which is only hundred meters away. When you get out of DLR, turn right and don't follow signs for "excel"
