Booked this hotel as I was attending a wedding at Dulwich College. From the moment we entered until we left all I can say is the staff at this hotel are exceptional. I’m lucky as I had a room on the ground floor so didn’t have to navigate the stairs unlike my friend on the top floor. The rooms are a good size with plenty of refreshments. The shower has a detachable hose, which is a must. The bar menu has a great selection of foods for all dietary requirements. The breakfast menu is small and also has a good choices for all. Nothing is too much trouble for this team. They are able to recommend alcoholic drinks that you would like (Thank You Zane) and will make sure your needs are catered for. I will definitely stay here again

We have been staying 4 nights at this lovely pub, we were in a duplex room with our 3 children, the room was spacious and extremely clean.
The hotel staff is absolutely lovely. We had a wonderful breakfast every day, special stars to Fabian and Conrad for been so friendly to us.
The location of the hotel is perfect for visiting our uk family, short walk to Dulwich park and train station to Central London.
We will definitely come back here.
I recommend this place

Really pleased we stayed here. Front of house staff were very friendly and appoachable. The room was immaculately clean. I thought the value was excellent considering the location, services and facilities available. First stay at these lodges, it certainly won't be the last.

The location, the building and the warm welcoming of the staff were great. On our first night, one of the automatic wall lights by the stairs didn't come on so It was dark going up to the second floor. However, the staff dealt with the issue straight away after we reported it. I thought that was very efficient.
The corridor looked recently repainted. The room was clean and smelled fresh.
As for tips/recommendations, if your room is on the 2nd floor, you might want to pick some tea bags from the reception as they only put breakfast tea in the bedrooms and also the lift is only up to 1st floor. Another tip is there's no fridge in the room. Continental breakfast was included to our bookings which I thought "good". But breakfast was limited to toasts, croissants, pain de chocolat, cupped porridge, boxed cereals, fresh fruits, yogurts, fruit juices, coffees and teas. cooked breakfast is available if you prefer just pay extra.
Conclusion: I will stay here again as needed and will recommend to friends with a bit of warnings.

The rooms are pretty average, in my opinion. Given it had been refurbished, I expected more but the quality of finish is below the standards of other hotels at a comparable price. One of the biggest problems - reported by others on likes of TripAdvisor - is how hot the rooms are. I didn't quite believe it could be that bad, but sadly it really is. No air conditioning and really limited air flow with only a single window (in my case) that could only be opened a little. If you can't sleep through heat, I'd avoid this hotel altogether and for the price, you'll find much better options elsewhere in any case.

Beautifully appointed family room with fresh shower room, very clean. Let down by lack of procedure to follow when we arrived before check in or good customer service to come up with an alternative. The breakfast menu is fantastic but was let down by poached eggs that had gone solid, the vegetarian haggis had run out and my tomatoes served had been eaten by a maggot and gone rotten.

What and absolutely fantastic experience it was staying here. The bed was comfortable, the room was lovely, the staff were helpful and polite and the area it's located in is lovely. I'd recommend this one to anybody looking for somewhere to spend a few nights.
Conveniently located next door to an Italian Restaurant called Rocca which you really have to try.
The only main issue is it's a good 10 minute walk each way to the nearest convenience store (and you really need to know the area to know the way too).

First time visiting this place. Very nice room and facilities, continental breakfast and lots of choices. Think full English could be provided at extra cost.. Gail's is near by and very good cafe to explore. Also for walking Dulwich Park is nearby and worth a walk. Popular with dog walkers.

I had a lovely stay at the Innkeeper's Lodge Dulwich. The staff is friendly and professional. My room was spotless and comfortable, nothing to complain about. Plus they provide bath products and tea and coffee in the room, which was appreciated.
I also had dinner and a few drinks at the pub, they have a small but good selection of red wines if you're into it (the Pinot noir was superb), and the today's special (lamb ramp, aubergine and potatoes) was delicious.
It's very well located in Dulwich Village, there's a nice park and the Dulwich Picture Gallery nearby, and the bus P4 can bring you in Brixton in 20 minutes only.

This a review of the innkeeper's Lodge, the hotel behind the pub. Its a decent place with friendly staff, a lovely terrace where one can enjoy a tasty cooked breakfast (definitely worth ordering as the "continental breakfast" that comes included is underwhelming, to put it mildly) and well insulated rooms. Given the heatwave this summer, we were missing aircon but it was not too bad in the evenings. The one major let down is the WiFi, its the O2 public WiFi and in many places the signal is very weak. Overall though, a good place in an area where there is very little of anything.

We stay here once a week during the school holidays.
Friendly helpful staff.
Food is excellent, service varies between good and excellent.
I assume lack of staff is due to covid restrictions.

Very nice room for the price, and good breakfast too. Great location for getting into London on the train, only a short walk from the station and then a short ride to London Bridge.

Great pub. Good hotel. Loved that we had a room with mezzanine which opened out onto a court yard. The only thing that lets it down is the temperature of the rooms. Scorchio!!
