The welcome was very good, efficient and organised. The room was very clean, comfortable and most importantly at the time, sound proof. I slept very well at this hotel. The fridge didn't hold a particularly cool temperature but wasn't a major issue. The view over the river Thames was very good and a nice distraction from being restricted to a single room for a couple of weeks. The food was excellent! Didn't have any issues with any of my orders or the timings. The bathroom was also very clean and spacious. I just can't give 5* due to the restriction I was under which at times felt militant. However, I am looking at staying at this hotel again when I will not be under quarantine restriction as I feel I was very lucky to be allocated this hotel due to the quality of the establishment and the comfortable room.

Bottled beer and cider is reasonably priced but spirits and cocktails more expensive than expected.

* Bath tap only gave lukewarm water, the shower was good though.
* The room service omlette had added sugar, which didn't work. The toast was cold and the butter was hard and refrigerated. The salad seemed old. The yoghurt pots were pretty dirty and sticky on the outside.

M.Love this hotel but unfortunately this time we stayed (for 2 nights over nye) upon arrival our mini bar hadn't been restocked, or the tea/coffee refreshments. I was also disappointed that there were no gluten free options in the Club Lounge buffet. Not a single thing. When I asked they said they would ask thr chef but after waiting 20-30 minutes I was told chef is very busy and that he had provided me a plain green salad which I refused and just had the wine and packet of kettle crisps which are luckily gf! Very disappointing for a 5* hotel. I will say though that the afternoon tea also didn't have gf sandwiches ready made but the chef made me plate if gf sandwiches I just had to wait a little while.

So we like to come to this beautiful hotel because its quiet and clean you feel your self happy, and specially the smooth bed and the cover, and the beautiful view, I hope for your hotel and your group in intercontinental to be the fist and the top in the world.
We are really sorry to leave soon because we was in Manchester in holiday Inn for few days, and we made reservation in your hotel from 03/02/2022 until 06/02/2022 and we tried to extend until 10/02/2022 or more but it was fully booked on 08/02/2022 and we must leave in that night, but never mind still the memories in our heart soon we will come back.

C.Luck of the draw in what room you get - my room on the third floor looked directly on a service staircase which isn’t great to look at and offers very little privacy so curtains remain closed. The check in took a long time but other than that, the place is fine. I would stay again but wouldn’t rave about it to others!
