We absolutely loved our stay in this hotel! My boyfriend and I came only for 1 night but we definitely made the most out of our stay. The spa / pool area is lovely and super relaxing. The bedrooms are also spacious, and bathrooms really nice and modern with both a shower and a bathtub including even zero-chemical toiletries. The only small downfall was that the as a Saturday it was super busy (naturally!) with kids and the indoor pool could have been warmer but there is still always plenty of space to go from sauna to steam room to pool to hot tub. Nonetheless, the staff are all super friendly. We also had a small problem with our mini bar fridge in our room but the staff tried to attend to it almost immediately. We want to thank specially Amer for being amazing and doing everything he could to resolve the issue and make sure we were satisfied with everything during our stay. Thank you and we will definitely be coming back!

Nice hotel, right beside St Pauls (I think it used to be the Grange??)
Nice Reception and Bar area, rooms are nice and spacious, with decent Beds. Rooms have air-con but Windows don't open. The outside facing Windows face offices, which is a bit weird. Bathroom has a separate walk-in Shower and Bath which was nice (Only strange thing was the lack of Toilet Roll Holder next to the Toilet??).
Staff are friendly - well worth staying there 👍

Great location and very attentive staff (reception and restaurant/bar). Good breakfast (and proper coffee) and food in the restaurant.
As for the hotel itself: room cleanliness was not great, see pics. We had to move the bed as dropped something under it and oh my goodness the things we have seen there...!!
Lifts work in a very weird way and have to wait quite a bit sometimes.
Make sure to book spa treatments few months in advance as none were available 3 months before our booking.
Small jacuzzi, pool and steam room available in the spa. Sauna currently out of service. Need to go through the restaurant and outdoor space to get to the spa.
Slippers and robes provided in the room, extra towels are given in the spa.

WOW! I regularly visit London but I stay at my families. I decided this time to stay here. Service was exceptional Every1 that works their kept asking if I'm OK and needed anything The staff gave me every bit of detail I needed to travel around London. The beds were super comfy, the rooms were stunning with beautiful huge windows. The fridge in the room had amazing selection. The breakfast was of amazing choice. The spa was super clean and fun. The views around the hotel was amazing. To wake and to go for a cigarette around the corner and see the main skyscrapers is beautiful. I really recommend this to anyone to stay here. I would give 10 stars if I could

Stayed here with my partner for our 4 years anniversary. Was greeted by a lovely man on the front desk (forgot to get his name), room was lovely (had a view of St Paul’s which was incredible), breakfast was nice (just a shame that the bacon and sausages weren’t brill, however, everything else was amazing), housekeeping offered to clean our room as well bless them. We used the pool, gym, suna and steam room. All 10/10.
All together was lovely. Really do recommend it!
The staff were really welcoming. This is rare. Usually when we go to nicer hotels as they usually treat us differently due to our age (19). This did not happen. We really appreciated it.

I stayed overnight at this fabulous place recently and was pleasantly surprised. The location is in the heart the London City and offers magnificent views of the St. Paul's Cathedral from the rooms and the rooftop Bar called Sabine.
The reception staff was very friendly and knowledge, the setting of the lobby, ground floor bar and first floor restaurant were well presented.
The room was spacious and of a very high standards. It offers good size TV, Nespresso machine, minibar and spacious bathroom. The interior design was modern and the colour theme worked very well.
I visited all bars and restaurants and the service and the quality of food and beverages were very good and reasonably priced.
Overal great experience, great place highly recommended for a city escape.

Excellent stay with my daughter. Lovely room. Great treatment in the spa. Excellent choice at breakfast.
Sabine rooftop bar has amazing views! Only disappointment was we didn’t get our bottle of Prosecco which was included in my desk?

I stayed here with my daughter celebrating her birthday. Absolutely lovely hotel especially the roof terrace and glass lift in the evening. Breakfast was buffet style and you helped yourselves. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

Booked for my friend’s surprise birthday, they gave us a good room with an ok view. Location was great, self serve breakfast was good, gym, spa facilities very good, and the staff were really attentive and friendly!
Especially Ama from Spa, Pietro at concierge and David from the rooftop bar, thank you guys for a lovely experience.
The atmosphere in the hotel was very chilled, interior was beautiful! We had a lovely relaxing time :)
No faults apart from the mini bar wasn’t stocked or cleaned from person before.
L. S.
Absolutely loved it. Fab spa treatment, best I've ever had. Could do with some relaxation seating in or near pool area but otherwise lovely.
Hotel very clean, friendly and comfortable, breakfast was great too. Beautiful, easy location too.
A generally very satisfying experience.
A. B.
Rooms don’t have a fridge which for the price seems really basic. Although the staff tries to help, does not feel like a caring atmosphere. Great location but the London Bridge Leonardo had breakfast thrown in and chicer rooms, including a fridge…

A nice hotel in London. If you are going for the spa, ensure you book the treatments way in advance. We were only able to get the birthday girl in for a 25 minute treatment, but did get to use other facilities. However, swimming pool was a little cold.
The room needed some attention, but overall nice stay.
Staff were great!

Stayed here for a one night spa stay for a birthday occasion and had a lovely experience! The hotel's interior is beautiful. The check-in was easy, and the staff were so lovely, attentive, and friendly. The room itself was very clean, fresh, and SPACIOUS! The bedsize was huge and perfect.
As it was a spa night stay, we were in the other part of the hotel, where the spa was, and that meant we didn't have a nice view of St. Pauls. Had we been in the main area of the hotel, it may have been a bit more lovely. Definitely something they should make aware of.
I had the room set up for my partners birthday, which meant balloons, rose petals, candles, and birthday banners were put up in the room. Before check-out, I made sure we cleaned out most of it so the cleaners didn't have to do much at all.
We had breakfast in the morning. The breakfast range was brilliant. There was so much available, and it was great! Although, I would love to see more vegan options like vegetarian sausages or vegan meat.
The spa was great, too. It's so ideal and great to have a one night stay here. The pool is huge, jacuzzi is deep, so go down slowly, sauna, and the steam room are good too. staff are friendly, and the 25-minute facial we had really had our skin glowing all week long ✨️. Great stay and lovely hotel.
B. P.
Lovely hotel for a staycation!! The rooftop bar is super cute with a stunning view of st Paul's. We especially booked to unwind and use the spa facilities. The spa had a very young vibe however the biggest disappointment was there were no deck chairs around the pool or enough hooks or places to put your towel/slippers. After our session we discovered there were relaxation rooms on the other side of reception!! Add some cubby holes for guests to put their belongings in and not the floor or in a corner.
M.
Can't recommend this hotel enough. Very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful rooms with the biggest, most comfortable beds for rolling around on 😜 and the best buffet breakfast with an amazing amount of choice.
Pool, steam room and sauna were an added bonus and you're given free towels and robe to use during your stay. Will definitely stay here again
M. B.
Location was superb as were the front of house staff.
Cleanliness of rooms left a lot to be desired! Our initial room had a single sofa bed in addition to the main bed. The sofa bed was unmade upon arrival and when we pulled the mattress back there as dirt, cut toe nails and beer bottle caps etc present.
Toilet cleaning wasn't the best either, neither was daily room service as items weren't replenished or beds made properly.
Never stayed in a 4 star property that uses cheap Coronet biscuits either!

This hotel is visually stunning. We decided to stay here due to its views of at Pauls cathedral and it's location.
The room was fitted up nicely with extra chairs, a beautiful bathroom and with art on the walls. Bed was super comfortable, one of the best I've been in and huge. Unfortunately the room was tired and in need of a touch up, the shower seal was broken and water leaked all over the floor... There were patches of missing wallpaper, the carpet was worn and the ceiling had patches of paint missing, small things, one lady I spoke to said her room thermostat was broken but ours was fine.
The bars and lobby looked smart, bar staff were attentive and lobby staff very friendly.
I would not go to the spa facilities to use them to work out regularly... The pool is very nicely done the lighting is amazing and really looks like a good quality facility.... But the pool is a little small, The swimming lane is very narrow, only one other person doing lengths and we kept brushing each other or breaking stroke when passing. Too many people trying to use the sauna ment it was pointless to try to use in peak times. The hot tub was nice and sociable but not hot enough, the steam bath was pointless. I didn't use the gym equipment but it looked in good shape.
While I was using the hot tub I and another customer watched as a lady went through all the robes pockets, we asked if if she had lost something, she had lost her rode which she said had her phone in, she said someone must have taken it. When I went to collect my robe it was also missing. So I went to spa reception. The lady on the desk said "it's up to you to keep an eye on them" this leads me to think that this is an issue with customers taking other peoples robes/room keys regularly...
Staying in this hotel was a treat, it felt high quality and I had a great night sleep.

Thanks all, had a wonderful weekend enjoying your hotel and spa for my kids 18th Birthday weekend. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Great part of London and what a view from my room 😁.
B. C.
Stayed for three nights. Very friendly staff. Great location, 50 yards from Saint Paul's cathedral and 100 yards from the tube and millennium foot Bridge with access to the Globe Theatre. Very comfortable rooms with a rooftop cocktail bar and terrace viewing Saint Paul's.
C. R.
My partner and I loved the stay! Best breakfast and rooms so far 😍 Amazing Spa facilities with great staff. Such a relaxing break
K. M.
Lovely clean rooms, comfy beds and great breakfast choices. The spa was very relaxing and the staff were excellent. Prosecco on arrival was a great touch.
m. t.
Really nice hotel with a lot of amenities! It had a really cool rooftop bar and a spa! The breakfast was a brilliant selection, with freshly made omelets at request, the hotel is really modern and a lot of efforts been put into the lobby/bar areas but the rooms definitely need updating, bath was a bit dirty with mould on the shower screen and the shower was barely usable as it didn’t point into the bath but angled away from your body! Saying that, would definitely stay again and recommend people stay, the price is very good and you get a lot for your money.
C. B.
Very nice hotel and so close to St Paul's Cathedral. First time staying here and this was a work trip so I didn't have the time to experience all the facilities. However, the important bits are very well done. Check-in and check-out were fast and painless. Room was very nice, big bed, awesome shower, proper full sized iron and ironing board, and whilst my view was overlooking the central atrium, all the glass used in the building design makes it feel like an outside view. The breakfast was good. Quick to be seated and all the options you could wish for no matter where you come from! Would definitely recommend staying here!

My maid of honour arranged my hen party at this hotel and Spa. I had not heard of this hotel before but I will definitely be coming back. From the moment we walked in the gentlemen at the front desk was very welcoming and accommodating, check in was at 4pm but we were able to leave our bags with them and enjoy the spa facilities. The rooms were amazing and clean, the beds are extremely comfortable, all my friends had a pleasant experience. The lunch we had tasted amazing and even though they were short staffed, they always kept us informed and were very polite. The spa treatments were the best and I cannot mention this enough, all the staff were friendly, helpful and anything we needed they could accommodate for. I would definitely come back here again, thank you to all the staff here for making my hen weekend special

After reading the negative reviews I was quite apprehensive about my upcoming stay here but I cannot rate it highly enough. Fantastic experience from start to finish. We were lucky enough to be checked by Claudia, she was so friendly, helpful and genuinely wanted us to have the best stay possible (for my birthday)... Claudia checked us into one of the best rooms with a beautiful view of St. Paul's from our window. She also gifted us a free birthday drink at the bar. The room was immaculate, and every single member of staff made us feel so welcome. Again the breakfast staff are so welcoming, a lovely selection of breads and pastries, cheeses, cereals,.... fresh pancakes being made to order. Will definitely be returning with my daughter very very soon.
R. J.
Really nice hotel with great facilities and a great rooftop bar. Rooms were clean and spacious, only issue was the shower control which only seemed to have 2 options.... Hot and very hot. Bed was comfy and made for a good night's sleep. Nice touch with the nespresso pods in the room. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice. Will definitely consider a return.

Very pleasant stay at this London hotel opposite St Paul's cathedral which is only a 25 minute walk to Leicester Square and the theatres. The room was spacious and had tea and coffee facilities with a king size bed and plenty of cupboard space a lovely bathroom with walk in shower and a bath and lots of shelf space. Our room 455 was quiet. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. An ideal hotel for a weekend or business break
B. W.
Highly recommend this hotel! Great location, nicely decorated and clean rooms with facilities. Delicious food morning and night. The spa facilities were excellent and all the staff were very helpful and polite.
A. C.
This is a lovely hotel. We booked using a wowcher voucher and the whole process was very smooth from check-in to checkout. We stayed in a superior King room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet, we couldn't hear anyone around us. The breakfast was a buffet style breakfast with hot and continental food including a pancake, omelet and poached egg station. The quality of the food was very good and there was plenty of choice. We used the spa facilities which were excellent. The jacuzzi was large enough to have at least 4 people in at once and there was a steam room sauna and pool. The tube station is about a 5 minute walk so easily accessible. The staff are very friendly and helpful, all in all a really good stay!
J. G.
Really nice hotel in general. The rooms are really nice and we enjoyed a lot in the swimming pool and spa. Great experience in this hotel with really kind staff.
B. E.
Tried to check in early as check in isn’t until 4pm! We came at 3:13pm and was told our room wasn’t ready and we needed to come back for 4pm, absolutely no problem, came back at 3:50pm and the queue to the check in desks where out the door, there must have been at LEAST 50 people in front of us trying to check in! We was at an even in the same hotel and needed to be ready for 5pm so this didn’t happen due to how long we waited at arrival. So many people complaining and staff just said you will have to wait to be seen at the desk. The lifts are problematic, and a morning fire alarm went off with no explanation. The hotel itself is spacey, and good location, but for £183 for one night I was expecting better service.
A. D.
A very nice hotel. Some minor issues the shinny bathroom floor tiles are slippery & the bathroom could have dome with a better clean in the shower. We originally had room 604 which was big & the view of St Paul's Cathedral was amazing. We were shocked by the level of noise at night though due to the roof top discp bar being above us so they kindly moved us to a room on the 3rd floor which suited us better, as nice and quiet. The hotel staff are very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was great...buffet of cooked breakfast & fruits etc. 25 minutes to walk to theatreland. We would stay here again.
L. F.
Booked a weekend break for two but after reading the reviews I was slightly sceptical of how the hotel would be. I was more that pleasantly surprised!!! We we given a room with beautiful views of the cathedral. The room itself was a great size and very clean, very comfortable bed and soft quilt. The staff we great and very helpful especially Claudia on reception. Food was great buffet style and very officiant on clearing plates Maria was just one of the lovely friendly waitresses there who was always at hand to help. Can’t wait to book again soon :)
S. D.
Lovely hotel and very friendly staff. Stay included buffet breakfast and dinner, nice food but very busy at breakfast. Concierge/room service was difficult to get hold off/slow in the evening. Spa was nice but far too busy; even with Covid aside it just felt packed. Lots of kids unsupervised and jumping in the pool, not exactly relaxing! Would stay at the hotel again but wouldn’t go to the spa again unless it was free with the hotel stay. We also went up to the rooftop bar Sabine, so lovely! We didn’t have a booking but they were very accommodating and eventually moved us to a table outside. Would recommend booking ahead.
R. J.
Was a nice hotel with a great rooftop bar. Rooms were clean and spacious and only reason for knocking it down a star was the shower controls as it was impossible to lower the temperature to a comfortable level. Great facilities in the room including a large flat screen TV and a Nespresso machine.... Like a home away from home.
P. B.
Great place but kinda lost spark since the take over from the Grange. Not sure we would return. Some staff reception and house keeping brilliant and very helpful. Shame bar n roof top staff not know products giving red wine as a rose wine and roof only serving doubles. Downstairs bar moved and full very closed in not much open space like it was before several moves changes to hotel
A. G.
Wow. This place was incredible. The hotel is beautiful, very conveniently located near Blackfriars station. The breakfast buffet is a must, wide selection of hot food, cakes, fruits, hot and cold drinks, bread and lots more. The spa is lovely too with a pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Friendly staff too.
A. L.
Positives: room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Location was fantastic literally across the road from St Paul's. Breakfast was plentiful.
Negatives: our room didn't have hand towels and we asked repeatedly for them and were told the concierge will bring them up and they never arrived.
The spa, too many people in, was an awful experience, and they ONLY had hand towels (pattern here?) They had ran out of bigger towels. So instead of giving me a robe, that they had loads of, they give me a hand towel to dry myself, then reluctantly gave me another after they saw the look on my face.
There was a massive hole in the wall of the spa too, nowhere to hand towels or put your slippers somewhere to stop them getting wet. Wasn't relaxing at all.
We went to the bar at 10.50pm, I asked for a Baileys to which I was snapped at by the barman ,"no baileys!! And I should have closed 10 mins ago" your a residential bar in the height of summer tourism season and you're closing your bar before 11pm and running out of Baileys???
Your staff apart from reception and concierge were a little rude, customer service isn't high on your priority list
Overall, nice hotel to sleep in, but there's so many better ones to choose from so I won't be returning.
P. S.
Just returned from 3 nights stay at the hotel. The hotel is just across from St. Paul’s and easy to get to south bank over the bridge. Lots of shops and restaurants locally too.
The superior room was lovely and spacious and very clean. Tea & coffee facilities and lovely bathroom with nice toiletries. The ladies and gents responsible for cleaning on level 4 were very friendly and tried to help sort our heating despite language barrier. They were very professional and polite.
The breakfast was lovely, great choice and plentiful. We didn’t try the evening menu but will next time. The rooftop bar was fully booked unfortunately, again looked amazing and will try next time.
Staff in the bar area very friendly especially the fellow northern lady from Yorkshire who came across and chatted about our stay.
We booked through Trivago which booked us through Agoda - they only booked two nights so we spent hours trying to sort it out as we’d paid up front and hotel didn’t have booking fir 3rd night. The hotel reception team were so helpful and trying to help sort out in particular the reception manager Claudia who I can’t thank enough for pursuing with company and finally managed to sort for us after lots of calls. Do not book through Agoda worth the extra £s to book direct with the hotel you will have a lovely stay.
K. T.
The hotel was clean, lovely breakfast, the staff was great.
The SPA is amazing, the relax rooms are very quiet with great ambient lighting.
The gym is equipped very well and there are two studios.
Sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and pool are all of decent size and in good condition.
G. G.
Just had a 2 night stay here, room was spacious, clean and the bed was huge. Check in was smooth, breakfast service was excellent and the food was spot on. Good location for us, we walked everywhere from here. Only small complaint was the pillows were really uncomfortable, however would recommend this hotel.
N. D.
Honestly wasn’t anything to fault in regards to this hotel, we booked it after seeing a deal on wowcher which included breakfast. Breakfast was lovely, it was a buffet style with plenty of variety. The room was a decent size and the best was one of the comfiest beds I’ve slept in! Staff were very helpful. The location was perfect. Really couldn’t find anything wrong with this hotel would recommend to anyone and would definitely re book
J. F.
Stayed 3 nights in November & apart from the location, we couldn't fault it. It is in St. Paul's area, we did visit the Cathedral, which was over the road, but needed taxis for shopping & restaurants. Staff were very helpful, especially the Concierges. Rooms furnished adequately, cleaning was a little erratic, breakfasts great, self-service & all you could wish for.
D. S.
Stayed as part of a theatre show deal and was not disappointed! The room was good (and had a bath and shower), the breakfast was epic and the location was perfect for our needs. All the staff we met were lovely and we would definitely stay again.
R. P.
We recently stayed here for my partners birthday, the room was lovely and clean with an amazing view and the staff were so accommodating - especially Liviu the front desk supervisor who went above and beyond. This hotel also has great spa facilities. Would highly recommend.
e. E.
It is ok but my room was run down a bit. Service though was excellent. Congrats to the staff for being so kind and considerate.
C. B.
This place is a mixed bag. The location in awesome and it has great facilities.
The rooms are fairly basic with comfortable beds and a standard bathroom.
The breakfast is really good and they have everything you could want. The waiting staff are really nice.
The thing that lets it down are the reception staff and concierge. Every time we asked them a question it was like they didn’t want to help and little things didn’t get done.
Examples of that are below:
We didn’t have a phone in our room and asked for one to be sent up, to which they said no problem. When we checked out three days later it still hadn’t arrived.
On arrival we asked the concierge a simple question about having access to the loading bay. He palmed us to reception, then the reception staff went and asked the concierge lol.
We went to ask the concierge about getting a luggage trolly to help move some stuff from an events room. Rather than help he just said ‘you should have asked someone down there (nobody was there to ask).
Verdict:
So to sum up, this in a nice hotel with great facilities and a nice breakfast. But it’s let down by it’s basic rooms and some unhelpful staff.
i. m.
Just come back from a girls weekend at the Leonard’s St Pauls. can I say amazing from beginning to end literally cannot fault anything. Fantastic customer service , beautiful hotel, spa & rooftop bar, most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in, delicious breakfast with every option you could think off and perfect location for shopping sight seeing and nice restaurants. Already planning to go back! If your considering booking go for it you won’t be disappointed.
V. G.
Good hotel, convenient location by St Paul's Cathedral. Nice rooms, breakfast OK, coffee cold by the time you get to table, buffet breakfast plus egg station. No room service unless requested. Good offer from travelzoo
B. S.
It was a wonderful experience. My girlfriend loved it. Just fix the shower in my room, and I'll give you 5 stars next time. 😜
R.
Good location right outside St Paul's cathedral. Clean decent sized rooms. Sabine rooftop bar is worth visiting for a drink and to see London's skyline. We did have an issue with no hot water on last day but staff kindly compensated. Also has seemed the hotel was understaffed since getting through to room service and reception from room took a long time.
Overall happy with stay. The atrium was best part, nice and relaxed ambience.
B. F.
Nice hotel great location, rooms are good big breakfast selection. Fitness room are big and there is an indoor pool.
D. L.
Everything you’d expect, for the price, neither more, neither less, from a 4 star hotel in central London. Top top location within 5 min walk from Millennium Bridge down towards The Thames and 2 min walk up to St Paul’s (and what a lovely area by the way). Breakfast was good but busy and had to queue for everything - it was a bit on the warm side in the atrium too - the only couple of niggles so perhaps check with reception when are the quieter times so you can plan accordingly.
J. B.
The hotel is very conveniently located for sightseeing, however it is the staff that make it exceptional. Every member of staff that we came into contact with was friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
Our room was spacious although the furniture was a little shabby. Saying that the bed was huge and soo comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. Robes and slippers were also included and the shower was amazing. Breakfast was buffet style served on the first floor of the atrium which was bright and airy and the food was lovely. Again, the staff were excellent.
I also used the swimming pool and was struck by how clean everything was. I definitely won't hesitate to stay there again.
E. K.
Perfect stay. Amazing hotel. Breakfast was lovely. Our experience was made that much more special with the special attention and care payed by a member of the staff named Jess. We felt very welcomed by her and she really provided a personable touch to the experience over all.
A. T.
Very comfortable room, 2 great nights sleeps here. Would definitely come again. Very close to St Paul's cathedral. Spa/pool was fab.
B. L.
Lack of communication meant missing our spa treatment but refund pending... Excellent staff - Carol was wonderful and professional- Breakfast very well run- no waiting even though exceptionally busy- food delicious and hot. Room very comfy. Concierge desk outstanding.
A. C.
Lovely hotel - centrally located, comfy beds and a great shower. However, the rating given is due to poor service. They couldn't find our reservations for breakfast and dinner which made it very awkward in front of other guests. Slow waiting service too so left feeling thirty and hungry.
D. P.
Nice location, decent size hotel with a nice pool area. Room was quite tired looking with stained carpets, mould in the bathroom and marks on the towels. The term 4 star seems to have gone downhill recently.
V. G.
Nice views from the terrace bar restaurant & great gym & pool. Unfortunately rooms are overlooking other rooms & an atrium so kept curtains closed & no way to open the windows to get fresh air. Wouldn't stay there again.
A. R. P. F.
The hotel is really nice and it looks amazing. The room was nice, but nothing super special really. There was a Bluetooth speaker in a table that didn't work and there was a kettle to make tea and coffee, but there was no tea. The bed was really comfortable and something that caught my attention was the smell of the hotel. It was a lovely flowery smell all around the hotel, really nice.
S. M.
A great hotel and staff. We were given an executive room which was very spacious with a wet room shower. Fully stocked mini bar, nespresso machine and tea/coffee. The bed was so comfortable to the point we have researched the bed linen, topper and duvet. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Great location with walking distance of a lot of the major sightseeing sites. Worth asking for room 304. The spa is small but did its job. Just hope that a group of girls haven't just descended into the pool and haven't brought a mute button. Already researched returning.
R. A.
Excellent self catering accommodation for a bargain price booked through Travelzoo. Great area to access most of the essential sights of London and surrounded by good restaurants and 2 small supermarkets.
S. G.
We arrived late but the spa staff were great. Ama and Yovannia were so helpful in rearranging our spa times due to travel drama.
Then my massage from Alabana was just what I needed. She was so friendly and found out we live in the same area.
The rooms were spacious, but could have done with a nicer view other than seeing a Teams/Zoom meeting. Loved the shower which was like receiving another massage. The bed was so comfortable, one of the best I've slept in.
The rooftop bar has an amazing view. Again nice and friendly staff here too. Hopefully they'll have outdoor heaters come winter as I'll be back for my birthday.
Breakfast like everyone says in the reviews was very very good and plentiful. They're surely receiving their deliveries and long may it last!
Nice staycation

Very friendly and efficient staff. Great location clean tidy and well presented rooms. Fabulous bar and restaurant. Great spa facilities. Highly recommended. Can't wait for my next visit.

Beautiful hotel in heart of the city. Great views of st pauls in their superior corner rooms
Sabine bar the rooftop exquisite bar again u can almost touch st pauls cathedral from the outside deck.
Smells awesome on entrance to the hotel!

The hotel is good and the room was big. I loved the breakfast and just opposite to St Pauls
B. D.
A group of 18 stayed at the Leonardo St Pauls the weekend of the 16th October to celebrate my sister-in-laws 50th birthday. The staff were so helpful, especially Liviu at the point desk who made sure all the rooms ( booked through Groupon) were on the same floor and both birthday girls' rooms were decorated. In addition he gave all the rooms complimentary breakfast. Carol in Leos Bar was great and they booked us a private area for lunch for all of us. We enjoyed the spa facilities and rooms were so lovely. Overall we all had a great time and I would definitely be booking a room there again.
P. M.
Good sized and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Housekeeping services let it down as there was no toilet paper or soap in the room on arrival, and it took over 90 mins to deliver and only after a second request. This is a basic failure.
I.
Spacious rooms, buffet breakfast and quiet environment made for an overall pleasant stay. Various facilities like spa, pool etc went unexplored but we're available. Close to St Pauls cathedral means the distant bells can be heard at times, but not in an invasive manner
O. O.
Okay so the staff are quite friendly but if you are going to charge me £160 per night, at least clean your lifts, corridors etc. There was a pack of cigarettes in the lift, hand stained sliding doors, toilet was not wiped properly, no toilet papers. I will 100% not be staying here again. Do better people.
T. G.
LRL overall was good place.
Nice atmosphere,like the location.
Was disappointed with room carpet was bit dirty and also the shower in the bath needed some maintenance.
It was shooting everywhere rather than aiming at you.
F. H.
This hotel has a great vibe. Great location and tge Spa and pool lovely. The roof top top notch...stayed twice. Will go again soon. Staff amazing x
j. f.
My colleagues and I were treated to excellent service by the manager of the ground floor bar, Louis. His team (Sumeet, Shanice & Francisca) looked after us so well and made us feel very welcome! Thank you Louis and bar team! Outstanding 👏👏👏

Beautiful hotel staff very pleasant had few probs had ordered champagne on arrival was not in room after my husband checked it was had water coming thorough ceiling in corridors when we returned tower of london .Otherwise food excellent. Breakfasts especially. Would stay again no probs

We had a room with a view and the 1st night was fab, however the 2nd night the rooftop bar Sabine had reopened and as we were on 6th floor all we could hear was scraping chairs and footsteps so asked to be moved. Our 2nd room had a broken rail and was much smaller with less view of St pauls so we asked to be moved to an upgrade which we got. The room was fab with 3 windows and plenty of space. I think it would be worth speaking to Sabine as it almost ruined our honeymoon. Luckily the suite upgrade made up for that. Breakfast is highly recommended, there is ample choice. The spa is really nice too once we managed to find it.
S. V.
Loved staying at the Leonardo, the room was massive and it was by far the most comfortable bed I'd ever slept on. The pillows felt like clouds, huge TV really comfortable stay. The hotel itself is a bit of a maze but after a few wrong turns you'll eventually end up getting to where you want to be. The spa was lovely, the swimming pool and facilities were clean and spacious. There is access to the Sabine Rooftop bar (without a reservation) if you're a hotel guest. Overall amazing stay!
T. A.
Fantastic hotel with spa, staff were lovely and polite, third visit in 3 months
R. T.
Nice hotel in very good area next to st pauls cathederal. Visit to the rooftop bar is s must. Rooms ok but not fantastic. No towels in our room on arrival. Toilet didn't flush properly. Taps loose on the sink. The little things that can be irritating but not devastating
G. C.
Absolutely amazing, I stayed here in July. Very close to the shard and the views from the tops floor was stunning. The breakfast was delicious too, book on Groupon for the best deals xo
I. P.
Can't fault it. Staff were very obliging. Breakfast was all you could ask for. Great facilities. Scrupulously clean and very comfortable.
P. S.
Really nice ambience and convention Hall is amazingly big. The reception area is great.
T. J.
Really nice hotel the young man at the concierge desk think his name was kevin was really nice friendly and helpful a credit to the hotel
k. c.
Excellent hotel Rooms and Location.Situated facing St.Pauls Cathedral and 5min walk to tube station and thames rail.
Beaware drinks are expensive and they took £100 before we had even checked in without my consent and no explanation till i challenged it.All said was it will be remimbursed when checked out which after that should be 3-5days.
E. W.
Just a bit of a let down. The building is beautiful at night. The staff try but I think training in customer relations and retention would help.
Lacking in overall communication.
G. L.
digging this place. check Groupon before booking elsewhere. great business hotel.
T. P.
Friendly service and spa was great. Shame about loud children.... Facial was relaxing.
Breakfast was tasty but you have to queue!! The room was clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was wonderful slept well.
Leo's bar and grill had a good menu.
D. W.
Great hotel bed comfortable we had a great time. Great location
C. B.
A lovely hotel. Only slight downside was the spa and pool was very noisy with kids even at 9pm so not very relaxing. But can't really be helped.
J. V.
I don't think we could have picked a better or more convenient location for showing our family visitors around old London. Overall we found the rooms to be very good and the beds extremely comfortable, which is important after a long trip from the United States. Also it is worth noting that the cafes and restaurants close to the hotel were very affordable with excellent food. (Naturally my 7yr old grandson Leonardo thought it had all been arranged for him!)
J. J. K.
This is a great hotel with a lovely swimming pool but the £23 breakfast is very modest. You can do better guys, or make it £10.
C. B.
It's a modern hotel, but non the worse for that. Good room, pleasant meal in the restaurant BUT The worst pint of Camden Hells, EVER !
M. A.
amazing hotel, very modern and clean with almost all facility you may need, the only weak point is the bar, Bar staff none English, ( no diversity) manager which was a skinny guy very rude and speak with attitude, my friend and I ordered food, they brought starter and main all at once. also food is PUB style not professional kitchen.
J. B.
Great hotel, the food and facilities were great, the staff were 1st class and very friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfortable.
P. H.
Fantastic hotel with great views of St Paul's cathedral, fabulous rooms enhanced by internal views inside glass atrium
A. J.
Stayed here a few times and never disappoints. Ventured down to the spa, pool, steam room and sauna - very relaxing!
I. K.
Lovely place, only issue was slightly stuffy rooms - air-conditioning is fine but not my preference whilst sleeping and no other ventilation.
T.
Outstanding customer service from Klein and his manager . Genuinely faultless service. Lovely room, really quiet with space to work in. 5 stars from me
T. O.
I had a lovely experience here with hubby for our anniversary 💕. We went to the spa had a lovely spa treatment 😊. I will recommend here and will be returning.
R. C. T.
Discret lunch, relaxing green atmosphere.Perfect as a lounge bar, fresh prosecco and treats
S.
lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, breakfast choices were very nice, shower in the room was the only downside... water went everywhere except on me!!!
K. “. T.
Lovely hotel
Receptionist very helpful
Room was perfect apart from blocked sink but that was sorted
Would recommend this hotel
K. M.
Overall a good hotel experience, staff were helpful, room was clean etc, however there were a few complaints re food. Breakfast is good, plenty of variety however you do have to queue and it is very over crowded. However, dinner at Leo’s was revolting. We had a three course meal included in our package and all I can say is I wouldn’t have paid for it otherwise. The food was brought out in a flash which is always a warning sign and it was disgusting. I did not touch my main or dessert and we ended up ordering Deliveroo to our room instead. Menu and quality of food needs huge overhaul.
K. N.
Great stay at this lovely hotel, the spa massage I had with Lisa was 10/10. The staff were friendly and the room was clean...breakfast was also very good. The only reason I didn't give 5/5 stars is because I was meant to get a complimentary bottle of procesco with my stay, but this was forgotten. I did mention this when checking out and then was offered a drink at their bar ( which I happily agreed too) but then the bartender was not very nice. Very short and delivered a spilt drink to my sister and didn't even offer tissue to wipe it down. This was unfortunately the last thing we did at the hotel which is the only reason why I couldn't give it 5 stars. Despite this I would return again...and would just avoid that bartender!
A. M.
Location terrific and good hotel but staff needs to pay more attention to their customers. Specifically the bar we had some terrible waiters ruining our stay two nights in a row in making us wait for drinks for over 45 minute, massive confusion with order. Having our food served without cutlery and having to wait for them untill our food almost got cold + desert (ice cream) was same thing almost melted. But our last night was the worst when we sat at the table by 9pm and 3 waiters walking around even when I specifically made sign that I'd like to be attended and be served the menu they completely ignored me. We sat 30 minutes waiting and once we ordered what we wanted they told us the kitchen is about to close and they can't serve us anymore. Please give waiters proper training in how to approach your customers or just get better ones.
N. j.
It’s a lovely hotel and lovely room, but there isn’t even a bit of hand wash in the toilet which is a bit frustrating 🥴
M. G.
Room was nice and big.
Bathroom was okay, fairly small shower. Top tip, there is a better hairdryer in a cupboard than the one on the wall
Bar was nice but expensive. There is a rooftop bar called Sabine on the 7th floor, book this separately as it's not part of the hotel and not on the Website.
Our room was on the sixth floor and the noise from the bar kept me up until 1, mainly the sound of heavy tables and chairs being moved around, you can also hear the odd drunk person walking along outside.
Book this place for the view and location, so close to tate modern as well as the obvious
H. W.
Amazing hotel. Enjoyed my stay here
R. C.
Really nice hotel, faculties were great. There was a Bartender named Louis who was really nice and catering aswell. Made sure the drinks were served efficiently and felt very welcomed by him. Would definitely come here again
J. N.
Again Leonardo hotels have surpassed our expectation. Thank you for a really comfortable spacious room, friendly welcoming staff, lovely pool and spa
S. A.
Nice hotel, clean, excellent staff, you can leave your baggage in store room to explore the city after check out. You can also use spa, Jackoozi, swimming pool for free. Roof top Terrace bar nice view but unfortunately no hot drinks. Excellent location to enjoy nice walk around St Paul's, Tate Gallery, Shakespeare theater, good selection of restaurant, coffee shops and bakery, and you can have an amazing round tour on the Thames.
M.
Stunning hotel with luxury facilities, bartender Louis was 10/10 customer service and made the stay worthwhile with preparing the best tasting cocktails. Would definitely recommend staying here, thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Will be visiting again!

Lovely breakfast, great location, rooms could do with renovating.

Had a lovely weekend here Close to St Paul's and a 20 minute walk to Covent Garden along the Bank. We'll looked after and plenty of amenities
M. D.
Unfortunately not well organized for check in. The advanced online system doesn't work and then, although the reception staff were standing round with nothing to do early in the day, they refused to check us in. We did not expect to get into the room early and were very happy that the concierge looked after our bags, but having to queue with a large crowd in the foyer was unnecessary and not in line with Covid social distance practice for so many to be there all at the same time. It really wouldn't have hurt them to do the check in when no one else was there early in the day and would have hugely reduced the crowd.
L. S.
Friendly staff, had a weekend in London and stayed in a twin room with two queen beds. Most comfortable nights sleep, wonderful breakfast, helpful and friendly staff, great facilities, although we didn't use the gym, spa or pool they were there if we wanted. Would stay again.
T. K.
Fab hotel lovely spacious room clean. Great rooftop bar and friendly helpful staff. Enjoyed our stay will recommend to friends and family.
M. J. S.
Some worryin reviews on trip advisor had me very nervous but we loved our stay.
Just wish the fridge wasn't locked so could store water, still water should be provided in the room.
And the room service number doesn't work
S. M.
Good location for the city, southbank, strand, Covent garden. Close to blackfriars and st Paul's stations. The room was larger than average for london, comfy bed, quiet and good blackout curtains. Rooftop bar has a good view of st pauls and the shard, lovely at night. Breakfast was good quality.
n. b.
not worth the price . went to get a drink before pay out and the lady brought us our drinks all lovely and said i’ll be back with the card machine 30 minutes later nothing so i went to the bar to pay myself and was waiting 10 minutes sitting like a lemon and finally they gave me the card reader then a different bar tender took the card machine and said that he wanted to use it first before the lady who was serving me ? then she cancelled my payment and then serverd some one else and i was waiting for 10 more minutes till i just had enough and just walked out everyone else was complaining as some had been waiting nearly a hour just for a drink . when i had a shower all the water would pour under the shower door . dust everywhere in the wardrobe and the food cold in breakfast not worth the price .
G. T.
Lovely hotel, but some rough edges to polish.
I have not been in London since 10 march 20 so it was great to be back and experience the buzz. However, there wasn't one!
Still very quiet.
Still good quality rooms and finishes.
Roof top bar added which is nice, but no food at 10.30pm (nothing) not even crisps nut's etc. Even if due to covid 19 they have to be in separate packets.
Room was fine, but chairs need resupporting. One coffee mug was not properly cleaned, one glass upturned on the surface above the mini bar had a dried water/ unclean ring around.
Mini bar was locked... Tried 3 times to get it unlocked and nobody resolved it.
Room was not serviced. I had the light on a was in it all day... I could have gone for a walk, but nobody arrived.
Breakfast was good and well organized. Some hot items were luke warm.
Good value for money, but for a 5 star I would expect better, especially after covid 19
J. F.
Amazing stay. Room overlooking St Pauls was fabulous, really comfy bed. Breakfast really good although had to queue to get into the restaurant and queue for cooked breakfast and toast.
Had lunch in the bar area which was good and the area lovely and bright. Deja on reception was lovely and so welcoming she also arranged some treats for us as it was my husband’s birthday which was so kind, thank you Deja. The only thing that spoilt our stay was we weren’t allowed to have drinks on the rooftop terrace, very disappointed with this as the pictures of the terrace overlooking St Paul’s was what drew us to the hotel.
B. H.
Great hotel in a brilliant location, nice beds, quiet rooms, can't fault it.
V. L.
Nice room but bathroom needing updating. Breakfast £20 which seems excessive
L. R. T.
Jessica (reception) and Cristian (F&B) were superb. All the staff was friendly and the hotel is simply amazing. Thanks to this guys as they definitely made a difference :)
A. K.
This hotel is great! Staff very polite and attentive room lovely and the bed was so comfy! Bathroom was really nice shower fab! I didnt try the food I had coffee and used the pool and hot tub. Sauna and steam were not in operation sadly but due to covid ofcourse!
They are building a roof top bar which I managed to get a sneaky peek at and it looks like it's going to become a really great little spot. I will come back!
K. F.
What a fabulous stay in The City. The location is perfect and for amazing views of St Paul’s a visit to Sabine the Rooftop Bar is a must. Great service and cocktails. A big thank you to Andy from the Leonardo team for his lovely communication and recommendations, you made my stay extra special.
I. M.
Friendly staff, good breakfast options on the buffet, clean room.
K. B.
This hotel is a rising star. I would definitely recommend everyone to not just enjoy the beautiful area of St Paul's, London but also encourage to engage in a conversation with the warm, friendly and hospitably professional staff in the Hotel. Leonardi is a true gem whether you are planning business or private ventures.
N. S.
Great staff, friendly and helpful, particularly Anmer on reception team. Lovely rooms, exceptionally comfortable beds. Hot, tasty breakfast. Nice small spa. Excellent location near St Paul’s.
H. S.
Lovely hotel, friendly staff, Room are beautiful and a good location.
The spa is nice however well very over crowded and lots of screaming kids, which would be fine if it was not ment to be a spa which we paid for.
The prices are expensive however it is a 5* London hotel so this was expected
I. l.
A really lovely newly refurbished hotel in the heart of the city and just across from St Paul's Cathedral..10 mins from Kings Cross station and really handy for the West End and both sides of the river. Staff and service was outstanding and an amazing pool gym and spa. Atrium bar is not to be missed . We loved our room and its panoramic views and the bed was huge and one of the comfiest I have slept in. We could not fault our stay there
S. T.
Friendly staff
Rooms dated and out of sync with the rest of the hotel
Corporate events mean very limited distancing in some areas of the ground floor bar area
P. J.
This really is a lovely hotel. The Spa is fab, lots of space inside for everyone. The rooftop terrace is very nice. All staff are helpful and nice.
O. M.
Few issues with checking in late and only 2 sets of towels for 3 people but all resolved. It's a beautiful hotel and the staff are so helpful and professional.
P. Z.
Been there twice now. Good location. Roomy. Highly recommended!
R. W.
Most enjoyable stay. Excellent spa facilities.

The online and telephone booking process was a little challenging however we enjoyed our city break. The hotel was under staffed but we still enjoyed our experience, all staff were amazing, good hygiene with hand gel at entrance, perfect location for St. Pauls cathedral, Tate Modern and wonderful restaurants. Great for a family break, booked 2 fab massages in the Spa and enjoyed the use of the pool. Thank you.
J. F.
Room ok and the bed was very comfortable. Hotel itself lacks a bit of soul. Some staff encountered were dead eyed not exuding welcome, but to be fair Covid masks don't help with that. Pool at 10am on a Friday was unusable as was cheek by jowel that and the quantity of lockers suggest facilities are not for the exclusive use of guests. Breakfast has been replaced with a continental breakfast in a paper bag left outside your room - which to be fair wasn't too bad. Finally, Hotel has a weird streak for all clocks seen (lift, TV, alarm clock) being wrong which in a way shows lack of attention to detail that you feel summaries your overall visit....just an 'OK'
K. S.
Dated rooms. Awkward bed to tv position. Lacks amenities like Covfefe, Slippers and Robes. You have to go ask for it.
The staff gave us the wrong info about opening and closing times of the pool and jacuzzi and we were unable to use it.
The Rena massage booking system was completely broken. We tried to email them but they ignored us. When we went to the hotel we found out that they were open and fully booked so no slots for us.
Overall a bad experience. Can't recommend
But maybe we'll try again hopefully they are better organized next time. Then we will update this review
The location is great though. Lots of great restaurants like Bread Street
C. B.
Breathtaking Hotel lobby and bar, staff were friendly rooms were clean and comfy
A. F.
Lovely hotel and would most definitely stay again. Very central and loads of shops surrounding the area. The room was clean and comfortable with checkin/out being smoother than ever. A few downfalls resulted in me having to rate it 3*. Firstly the Chromecast didn’t work on the tv which was huge letdown for me however I made do. I requested a room with a view and got a room with an internal view which wasn’t appealing to me and lastly the heating / air conditioning is literally uncontrollable, it’s either far too hot or cold. I would however stay here again as the staff were great. I asked for a possible later check out which they were able to accommodate with complimentary. The spa facilities were also lovely however as it’s half term the pool area was very congested.
D. B.
Fantastic hotel in a prime position next to St Paul's - highly recommended
J. J.
The hotel staff are lovely. We chose a room with overlooked St. Paul's which was a massive plus. However the hotel was missing back amenities we've gotten used to in other hotels such as tooth paste, bottle of water and basic room service (had to rundown to reception a couple of times). We also found someone's dentures under the bed. The spa and pool were a nice touch but massage therapies have to be booked well in advance.
L. G.
Great location, helpful staff. There's also a Brill roof top bar, which overlooks St Pauls cathedral!
D. K.
Stunning Hotel, Beautiful Food, Helpful Staff. The location is over looking St Paul's Cathedral. Absolutely enjoyed my visit and the hotel rooms were spacious and classy. We also enjoyed the SPA facilities and indulged in treatments that were to die for!!! I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay pleasant and welcoming.
A. M.
Came here for some training. Really nice hotel with lovely, helpful staff.
K. l. (. C.
I loved the staff, the whole place, and most importantly the bed was the most comfortable that I have stayed in. I love this place Noeua was amazing as well, helping to make our stay even more special.
M. c.
Beautiful although I suggest you prebook the spa side 2 weeks earlier. It was a beautiful hotel & definitely made use of the facilities
S. B.
Good hotel in great location. Huge choice for breakfast! Rooms were lovely, quiet, clean. Shame we couldn't get into fridge to cool down our water. Spa was good but could do with a few more chairs/loungers around the edge. The steam room wasn't working when we visited either.
K. E.
Came here for Crimecom UK and had a great time, service was amazing and hotel is beautiful!
O. S.
Not a Five Star Hotel! The rooms are really dated and quite dark. Beds looked old and mattresses were worn out with sagging areas in the middle. Showers had cool functionalities but with limescale everywhere. Most importantly though, we couldn't properly regulate the water temperature. It was either way too hot or too cold, so couldn't even enjoy the shower! Staff at reception were friendly but mediocre service during breakfast. Waiters were unwilling to clear tables and slow to bring out drinks. Location, of course, is great and overall it is a good hotel. It's just not worth the money and definitely not a five star!
P. W. D.
We were invited to a corporate event at the Leonardo hotel. The reception was busy but the staff were lovely and helpful, at check in we were told we had to go.foe a short walk to an apartment. It was a comfortable room with a small kitchen too so if on a longer visit would be useful. It was clean and the shower was lovely.
The reason I have given 4* and not 5 is that we had to go.out of the hotel in the rain and there was no information in the room about the hotel so we had to go online to find out breakfast times etc...
Overall a great stay with wonderful staff.
S. W.
The hotel itself is well presented. The staff could not be more helpful and very efficient. It all made a very good experience.
S. M.
A fantastic hotel, the staff are very attentive and met every criteria, the rooms were lovely, and the spa was 10/10, I would rate this palace a five star hotel personally, only one bit of criticism I will give is £25 for a breakfast is very pricey per person, other than that I will deffo return, we had such a nice time it was only booked for one night but we ended up staying an extra night
C. B.
Lovely hotel in very close proximity to St Pauls. The rooms were really big considering they were central London - included a sofa. Great bathroom with a powerful shower and separate bath. Small niggle is I wish they had provided a real hairdryer - the ones in bathrooms are difficult to use and weak. There was a trouser press in the room and robes provided. Note some rooms face into the lobby of the hotel but if you're not spending much time in your room shouldn't be a problem. Probably the best part of the hotel is the spa and gym facilities which is free to hotel guests. The pool is a good length for swimming and we loved the jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms. Would definitely look to stay here again.
L. A.
Beautiful hotel. Very clean and excellent services
P. O.
Nice hotel, bed not overly comfy but I am suffering with back ache so could be part of it. Looks like they have taken the time to pick a good replacement for a hot breakfast replacement to your room due to Covid. High quality and delicious
C. C.
Absolutely wonderful location close to st Paul's in the heart of the city and within walking distance of the West end.
Great helpful fantastic staff who were excellent during a really busy period.
T. R.
Not really 5 stars. Comfortable but rooms are dated and amenities are okay but nothing stellar. The reception area was routinely overflowing with hen’s party groups or guests trying to check in/out. Staff are sleep walking around the halls and rarely engage with guests in my experience. Very hot public areas and hallways during cooler temperatures and the in-room air conditioning simply doesn’t work after about 10pm, so you cook overnight. Food was good but the restaurant area is very busy and lacking service at breakfast time.
E. N.
Stayed here twice now, both times the rooms were amazing, service charming and responsive, and breakfast also wonderful.
G. B.
Great location just in front of St Paul's Cathedral and a stone's throw from the millennium Bridge and the south bank with loads of pubs and entertainment Hotel rooms spacious and comfortable beds breakfast great value and choice would recommend
A. V. G. F.
Lovely location, super close to The City, the room was very clean, spacious and comfortable, the breakfast has a vast variety for all palates, the people working there is very friendly and helpful. Thank you for everything.
Add: second time it there, love it even more! This time I tried the Japanese restaurant, amazing the show given. See you soon!!!
B. S.
Very clean and nice hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Will go back.
D. O.
Really enjoyed our stay. Staff were very polite and room was spotless
A. P.
Very nice hotel to stay at and a good location.
T. S.
The hotel is wonderful and extremely well positioned (quite near St Paul's cathedral). The reception personnel is nice and fast, the rooms and the bathroom are large and perfectly clean, the restaurant is quite diverse and the food is fresh and really tasty. Also, by taking the elevator, you can get a nice view over the lounge and the restaurant.
Probably the only disadvantage is that, depending on the room, you might not get a view of the outside of the building, but instead, you would see the restaurant and the lounge.
N. S.
Great location, beds were comfy and very spacious room.
J. C.
First time staying overnight at a London hotel, was thoroughly impressed by the service and the hotel itself. We stayed in an apartment suite which is a few minutes walk from the main hotel building itself but equally just as spacious and nice. Very thoughtful cupcakes and happy birthday message left in our room upon check in as I had requested a happy birthday note to be in the room, they really went above and beyond. The room itself was great and the lights/AC etc could even be controlled by a tablet which was a very nice modern touch. We were given the option to have a late checkout and the staff members at the reception and the concierge were very friendly. Had forgotten my toothbrush but they provided us dental kits upon request and was delivered speedily to our room. Definitely deserving of the five stars!
J. O.
Overall a 4 star hotel and experience. The hotel is New by London standards (ca 10 years old) so has a modern feel, layout and appearance as well as all of the amenities of a full service hotel including gym, spa and indoor pool. That being said, this is a very busy hotel receiving significant wear and tear over the years with what seems to be minimal reinvestment into furniture fixtures and equipment. The furniture throughout is worn out and in need of full replacement. The bathrooms are small, inefficient and not properly cleaned with limescale buildup in the baths and dust over all surfaces in the rooms. As other guests have provided similar feedback it seems silly that management has not adequately addressed this! For those traveling with families this property works well as it is one of the few hotels offering double queen beds and the beds are comfortable. The buffet breakfast is a good offering and good add on value although there are inexpensive options just outside the hotel. The location is excellent close to many attractions and a part of London not as busy as those areas to the west. It is a welcome reprieve from the tourists...Overall with some capital reinvestment, attention to details and management training this property could really shine. The staff are really trying hard to please but seem to need some better direction at what level of service guests of a 5 star property are expecting. And ownership needs to invest capital into the business to continued to attract guests. Depending on what rate you pay it could be a good option for a London stay.
m. y.
Lovely overnight stay in an executive room. Very comfy bed. It's like a tardis dont judge by the outside view...lovely inside
K.
Rooms: A nice modern room with a great bed and bathroom. However there was a lack of power plugs and some stains on the wall. Good WiFi.
Service: I had a bad experience with the room service, having to wait for about an hour after coming back from a day trip for my room to be made. When asking the room maid why our room hadn’t been done, she replied with broken English and a bad excuse.
Location: A great location with a view of St. Paul’s (if you’re lucky!) with easy access to a tube station and nice restaurants across the Thames, with a bridge nearby.
T. S.
Omgoodness. I was there for training. What a lovely place. I live in London , but, I wish I selected the option to stay there for 4 nights. The food breakfast, lunch and snacks were delicious. Clean gorgeous place. Staff also lovely.
C. E.
Excellent staff ..Great location, good breakfasts and Spa facilities
T. A. L.
We worked here recently with our centrepieces and the events team here couldn't have been more welcoming. A fabulous choice of venue when looking for a hotel to host your event. Great atmosphere and exceptional service. We cannot wait to work here again.
E. R.
Great hotel! The rooms are large with nice bathrooms, the shower is kinda leaky but really nice. An awesome outside sitting area for smokers or just fresh air escape. The hotel itself is very local to stores restaurants and the beautiful church. Inside it has about 3 places to grab coffee our a biscuit. It also has two bar restaurants with good food and awesome staff
A. B.
This hotel is just fantastic! I came here to celebrate an event and Michael and his customer relations team have put everything in place to make this stay perfect! I have just arrived at the hotel and I can already see in the room, it's beautiful! The view is sublime, I thank the hotel for this irreproachable service!
5 star hotel for sure
M. M.
Stayed in the hotel last night and it was wonderful. The rooms were lovely and very clean. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful with any requests we had. The buffet breakfast was delicious and I would definitely stay again.
A. S.
I stayed at this hotel two days ago because of my job. Excellent location. Employees are really interested and love to help. I've enjoyed my stay in the room because the room was great. The rooms didn't have too much sound, and it was quiet. Overall I was satisfied.
A. T.
Nice and convenient. Breakfast starts too late, 7AM and for those here on business not early enough, 6:30 would be perfect. Mini bar did not work although we requested help daily and it never got corrected. They said they tried but alas never succeeded. Bed comfortable and shower stall in "handicap" designated room was great!i liked yh coffee / tea service in the room as well.
A. S.
Surprisingly mixed experience for a 5*. Very nice, spacious rooms and the gym & pool area was great. However, the reception staff don’t exactly emit warm and fuzzy vibes, half the empty toiletries weren’t replaced and that lovely looking roof bar you see in all the photos - forget about it: Available for pre-booked private events only. View from the room similar to being at a service station hotel.
F. N. S.
Horrible beds, linens are rough and towels are sandpaper. Housekeeping cannot clean/does not clear dishes/glasses etc or vacuum. The TV is the size of a microwave oven. The window opens into courtyard/across other rooms where everyone can see in. The shower amenities are awful and the shower pressure is abysmal. The have recordings for what hey offer, but when you ask, they say they don’t offer it. This is no way a 5 star hotel. Not even a 4 star. A really really good 3 star but extremely disappointed in this hotel. Wish I could get my money back.
K. D.
Five star experience practically on the steps of St Paul's Cathedral!
D. R.
Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous rooftop bar 😍

Ok hotel overall. Unfortunately I didn't have time to use the lap pool, but it looked great! Shower in the room had body jets - best to avoid using these since the shower doors don't seal properly at the bottom, which leads to flooding the bathroom floor and moping with a towel. Also be aware that you can't use the fridge at all if you don't keep your account open, since there is an automatic lock on it to protect the Minibar. Overall its in a good location but there were a few too many annoyances in my stay there to like it.

Location is good, close to the cathedrale and has some restaurants and bars in walking distance, bus/metro stop is also not too far. Prices are okay. Breakfast offers a variety of food, the warm buffet can be a bit cold though. Why I am not giving it 5 stars is because for a 5 star hotel it hasn't fully satisfied us. On arrival, in the morning we filled out all paperwork and everything so they were saying after 3 pm we can just get our keys. When we returned later to get the keys it took a very long time until they gave us our room, when we went to the room it was a 2 person room not a 4 person bedroom. So we had to go back to the reception to change the rooms. We expected some kind of apology for letting us wait so long and giving us the wrong room, this was not the case but at least we got then our 4 person bedroom.
Despite this I think the hotel isn't a bad choice for visiting London, just don't expect it to be the perfect 5 star hotel.
Also one more thing the elevators are a nightmare, you can wait sometimes 10 minutes.

Beautiful hotel. Fantastic service from the moment I walked in, very impressed. Spacious rooms, with very comfy beds. Food was delicious. The late night room service was perfect with delicious food. I would definitely be coming back here and would recommend to all.

Over rated. In no way is this a 5 star hotel. After 3 days had to call reception to get our room made up despite leaving the make room sign and switch on every day. Then had to leave our room at 5pm for the service when we were trying to relax after a big day. One night a staff member entered our room at 7pm when we were in bed! (To make up the room?) The staff were mostly stuck up, slow and didn't want to be there. The room didn't have enough towels. Multiple calls to reception and concierge went unanswered. Uncomfortable beds. The AC had a mind of it's own requiring constant manual intervention. A great location with good hotel facilities let down by poor service. Would not recommend for the price.

Solid hotel with a great spa in a fantastic location, but oddly lacking some of the basics, namely the basic building block of all life on earth... water. This hotel was weirdly penny-pinching about water. I have never been to a five star hotel that did not provide at least one initial complimentary bottle of water in the room, but apparently this hotel does not. When we asked for water they sent a jug of tap water to the room.
The water shortage continued in the spa, where there is not easy or sufficient access to water, only a small jug placed at the entrance to the changing rooms, which means that if you have been in the hot sauna and find yourself in need of water you must exit the spa, walk all the way through the changing room, out the door of the changing room to the main hall, just to find a jug of water, which was empty so needed to find an attendant to ask for more. Seems a somewhat serious health and safety risk not to have water readily available in a gym/spa facility.
One last quip at odd business practice: The mini-bar has a uniquely inhospitable configuration, whereby sensors inside of the refrigerator will automatically charge to your room for any items the instant that they are removed from the refrigerator. We requested to have our mini-bar emptied so that we could use the refrigerator for our own bottled water, since none was provided. However we were told that placing any outside of items in the refrigerator could damage it and would result in us being charged to replace the refrigerator! Found that to be a bit nutty. Never seen such an annoying and unfriendly system at a five star hotel.
Other than these frankly bizarre little idiosyncratic policies, which really didn't affect our trip other than causing some head-scratching... the hotel itself is really quite nice, comfortable, and well located.

5 star hotel facilities with a 3 star service, Well situated Hotel with lovely facilities, a great breakfast, ok spa and well decorated clean rooms, pretty good breakfast but overall just lacked something. Staff seemed to be inexperienced and unenthusiastic so a bit more training in these areas possibly. Overall would be happy to recommend people to stay here during a short London break
J. R.
Fantastic location right next to St.Pauls. Service was quick and friendly and the lobby was clean and welcoming. The amenities on offer were fantastic, a large pool, jacuzzi, spa, laconium, sauna and large gym. Rooms were adequate, though there were a few things missing such as slippers and an amenity kit. Water pressure was painfully high on the showers, but temperature was good. Overall great experience and I would stay here again.
S. M.
Nice hotel. Used a lot for business purposes but great swimming pool sauna etc.
Disappointing that a lot of the time it is not possible to use the sky bat as it is used for private functions for businesses. A great selling point yet people staying at the hotel are not permitted to use.
Big thanks to check in staff and manager who arranged surprise for my birthday including room upgrade.
Would have been five stars had it not been off limits sky bar

What a relaxed friendly place. Excellent breakfast buffet. Rooms could be a bit more modern. Friendly staff, very nice wellness area - water was not too cold for me and that means something.
Great Japanese restaurant on site. Nice ambience in the lobby with the piano that plays automatically.
Hope to return soon

The sight of the Cathedral is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and clean. Shout out to Zaheer who took really great care of us when we needed some last minute room changes. Great customer service was the topping on the cake to a lovely stay.
Y. K. H.
Lovely stay. The hotel accommodated all of our requests and made the stay very special. Spacious room with a great view of St Paul’s. Nice buffet breakfast, even with an omelette station. Would definitely recommend!
M. B.
Great hotel. We had a two night stay. The room was very comfortable and there was a great choice for breakfast. Covent Garden is approx. 30 minutes walk or Black Friars station is just around the corner. Will definitely stay again.

Wonderful room, lovely facilities especially the cocktail bar.
K. O.
Stayed 16 nights here in January, really he happy with the hotel. My room was really good, plenty of work space, good bed, chair, 2 closets and nice bathroom. The bars are Eh' but plenty of choices nearby, there is also a very good gym at hotel and the wifi in my room was excellent. Awesome location across from St Paul's and near to the tube station.
J. H.
Beautiful and modern in the foyer and bars, the rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were kind and friendly from the start. Spent a few hours in the spa too which was lovely a nice relaxing end to the weekend it was clean, fairly busy and had a sauna, steam room and relaxation room alongside good showers and changing rooms.

Maybe the standards aren’t the same but I was really disappointed by this 5star. I’ve stayed in more humble yet way better hotels.
The service is nice, so is the staff. The beds are PERFECT and the bathrooms worth dreaming about ! However, the rooms are freezing cold and the heaters make a rumbling noise, so much you really can’t sleep with them on. The rooms have a vis-à-vis that makes you leave the curtains closed at all times. And ... what better in a hotel than the hotel breakfast they offer... well as much as I’d love to tell you it was amazing ... really it wasn’t.
m. N.
Room was lovely, customer service was excellent, bar and drinks were really nice and the breakfast was beautiful!
T. M.
The hotel is nice as the staff BUT you won't sleep. Room was big and spacious. After long day I got to my room and had a good rest. The staff were really friendly but not too in your face. Staff were really amazing but didn't mither which I loved.
M. E.
Having only been at the hotel for corporate events, I can only comment on the fantastic service we received from the staff hosting us. The service was spot on, the food and refreshments were amazing and the surroundings were comfortable and welcoming. The rooftop bar is the jewel in the crown though, very impressive views of the city and the cathedral.

Very good and nice and clean staff Very welcoming and helpful

A top-class hotel with all the amenities you would want from a 5* hotel. Rooms are big and luxurious. Excellent location next to St Paul's and the Millennium Bridge that takes
you over to the Tate Modern. It a pleasantly quiet location but still with plenty of restaurants and attractions to choose from. Easy access to the rest of London via the nearby Tube station. We have stayed here a number of times and will keep coming back..Nice
A. K.
Great hotel, brilliant location. Spa is very good and recommend a visit during a stay. Rooms are good size with a plentiful supply of toiletries, bathrobes and most importantly it is quiet. Repeat visit and will be returning.

Lovely spotless very comfy beds very friendly staff can't do enough for you breakfast amazing great choice
E. E.
A gorgeous and luxurious hotel and in a very good location - rooms are a little outdated though.

Never knew I would fall in love with a hotel and it's staff. The service is 110% and 6 stars Worthy and the location is perfect. This is my second time here and this definitely won't be the last time. Already looking forward to revisit and enjoy my stay.

Hotel is very good and in a great location, close to underground and trains. Room was very nice and there was flower petals and a card from the hotel congratulating us on our anniversary. Breakfast has a great selection. Nespresso machine in the room. Hotel is very quiet, though you can hear the bells of St Pauls through the night. In general the staff were friendly and helpful. The concierge recommended a very nice restaurant and made a booking for us.
What would have given a 5 star is if they replenished the Nespresso coffee. In the 3 nights we were here, none were added.
We went to the bar one night and it was a disaster. I waited at the bar to be served for 25mins and one of the barmen was quite rude to some of the customers.
The pillows are very plump and there is no alternative pillows available. So you couldn't get a more flat pillow.
A. L.
The hotel is ok and most definitely not a 5* as described... I've been to many 5* so I know. This is a 4 star hotel, its clean and quiet, the rooms are ok nothing special( outdated)The breakfast was good, staff are friendly. Once thing, there is no parking so make sure not to drive there. The nearest parking is not far however they charge £3.50 per hour! 😯 overall, it's a good hotel, good location, friendly service. Enjoy
H. B.
A beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The rooms were luxurious enough, with comfortable beds and the imenaties that you would expect, hair dryer, kettle, tv etc. There is a mini fridge but a deposit of £50 Is require to access it. The bathroom was particularly immaculate, with a bath and separate shower, complete with waterfall head and body jets. The bar at the entrance is charming and welcoming, a great place to meet or end an evening. Breakfast was an impressive and comprehensive spread with something for everyone. The concierge are only too happy to assist you, very cheerful.

Everything was very good room was clean only thing was very busy and you need to queue for everything ,long time Q for check in ,breakfast (and we didn’t get hot breakfast because another long queue for a hot breakfast) and spa is small for 400 rooms 😉, because of COVID Q for spa too I don’t blame them but Hotell was good and bed was so comfortable yes I had nice time Over there maybe if not bank holiday and not Covid distance will be better
Thank you for hospitality
D. E.
It was a long way to go from Bridgend.what a busy check in.
But a very nice hotel, very nice.

Great Hotel fantastic position right on top of St Paul's.
Fantastic Spa.
Staff doing a brilliant job
Can't fault it
b.
We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and modern, and a great respite in the evenings after taking walking tours of East and West London. A little tecious to drive in to in the heart of London, especially starting at Heathrow, but worth it to be in the center of things and so close to all the things to see.
Staff was very friendly, and we didn't experience and major delays with check in or check out.
H. P.
Very welcoming and friendly staff. A very relaxing weekend

This apartment is at a great location. Close to times square and access to subway. Bedroom was spacious with firm beds. Has a tiny kitchen with all essential utensils. This was a great plus for us.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms very well presented. Comfy bed. The TV didn’t work and when o asked them to fix it was told they couldn’t do anything about it. Not the end of the world but would have complemented a chilled night

Stayed for 1 night and got a great deal on the superior room, which was cheaper than some budget hotels in the area.
The hotel is modern with a lovely central atrium which the rooms overlook. As the room was on the inside of the atrium, it was extremely quiet. The bed was so comfy, it was hard to leave. The rooms are stylish with a bath which was welcome after a day sightseeing. The bar area was nice and staff friendly.
Will stay again.

Check in was pleasant and quick. I was in an apartment in the anex a few metres away from the main hotel. You still have use of all the facilities of the main hotel. The room was clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom only had a shower but it's a great shower with over head and body heads. Really close to St Paul's and the attractions on the south bank. I'd definitely stay here again.

Good size room, bang out side St Paul's Cathedral. Everything nearby. Would stay again.

We were invited to a corporate event at the Leonardo hotel. The reception was busy but the staff were lovely and helpful, at check in we were told we had to go.foe a short walk to an apartment. It was a comfortable room with a small kitchen …
T. A. L.
We worked here recently with our centrepieces and the events team here couldn't have been more welcoming. A fabulous choice of venue when looking for a hotel to host your event. Great atmosphere and exceptional service. We cannot wait to work here again.
C. S.
Enjoyed swimming pool and facial spa treatment. A treat, the day felt far longer in a good way
B. F.
Stayed here for 1 night but had to have 2 rooms because there was 5 of us, overall a good stay and the location is superb, rooms were clean and modern along with the general state of the hotel. No signage to the pool what so ever and you need to be loaded to buy a drink in the bar, lager top was £7.50 incredibly dear as they charge you for a new bottle of lemonade although the barman was using an already opened bottle which is disappointing, Would I stay again.....yes of course.
S. M.
Beautiful hotel, if a bit cramped. Full workout spa. Excellent places to eat. Within walking distance of the Globe Shakespeare Theater. HARD UNCOMFORTABLE BEDS. 😐 But a big beautiful bathtub. May stay there again, but the hard beds are sort of a deal breaker. We’d consider elsewhere since the beds are so hard. 5 stars other than the beds.
M. H.
The staff were so helpful and made you feel so special. The bed was the most comfortable
M. H.
Very nice hotel, very friendly staff and great service. Breakfast was nice. Like the pancake machine like the glass and open and space feel about the hotel. Although probably not good if scared of heights to be on a top level floor. I didn’t mind though.

A five star experience awaits you at the Grange St. Paul's. The bed and breakfast experience is first class. The real selling point for the hotel besides the 5 star experience is the location, situated near the West End and St. Paul's Cathedral. With Buckingham Palace a 8 minute journey away by Taxi, it probably is one the best located Hotels in London. The Sports Bar in the hotel is a wonderful place to relax in the evening. In hosting a Dinner event the Hotel offers a Sumptuous service. The Foyer in the hotel is ideal for a pre-drinks Dinner reception. The Breakfast on offer in the morning is one of the best I have ever experienced. Lunch in the front bar is ideal with an afternoon coffee. Overall a really great Hotel with excellent staff.
C. S.
I love the hospitality,( the place, the people) i meaning everything was just 🔝👌🏾💯...
S. C.
Located a stones throw from St Paul's Cathedral, The Grange is an excellent base for touristing around London. The Superior Double Room I stayed in was spacious, clean and well equipped. It featured a large floor to ceiling window which looked out over the cathedral - excellent! Contrary to some other reviews I had read, there was no issue with the climate control for me - the air conditioning ran through the night and kept the room cool. Continental breakfast was included in my rate and was delicious - lots of breads, pastries, meats, fruits, cereals and juices to choose from. Hot pancakes are also served to order, included in the continental breakfast. The staff at the hotel were attentive and helpful and the concierge looked after our bags after we had checked out the following day - very useful! A few small criticisms: only one working lift made for a painfully slow journey down to breakfast; the bar is a bit dated, particularly in its drinks offering; the toilet paper was cheap rubbish you might normally find in motorway services - strange, given the quality of the rest of complimentary products in the bathroom.
A. A.
Amazing location to be in the city of London not London it self don’t get mixed up !,
Rooms are spacious but could use a different Colored lighting, that’s my own personal preferences because I don’t prefer yellow over white lights. Overall good hotel nice staff especially a staff last named virginio 5 stars to that member of the staff team very kind (he’s a receptionist)
B.
Very nice hotel, nice rooms, very helpful and friendly staff and great location
A. E.
Location, amenities and atmosphere. Plenty of great things to see and eat in near proximity. The gym, with a personal trainer attending, rivals the best. Pool, sauna and steam room included. Lots of fancy people at various events make the place welcoming and sociable. Breakfast is over-priced and mediocre, but it does the trick. Would stay again.
N. T. L. S.
Great staff, nice facilities, good sports and health centre. Only reason my review is three stars is because my room had a big wet patch in it. The hotel offered my abuther room if I wanted but they also sad they'd send engineering to look at it. Discovered after going back to the room that they had done nothing but confirm it want a leak. Went back next day and moved rooms. So while I was eventually sorted I was disappointed with the initial response - I don't believe you should give a defective room to a guest. Still, back to the staff - they were still great.
M. J.
Lovely clean hotel, wonderful staff with great prices, stayed for 3 nights, highly recommended
C. A.
A pleasant stay, lovely friendly staff particularly on Reception. Their was a wide range of choice for breakfast and the rooms were comfortable. Will come again .
R. K.
The hotel is OK. Personally I didn't have a good experience with cleanness of the room or the staff. Room maintenance could be better. Breakfast is nice but the bread wasn't fresh.
J. A.
Really enjoyable hotel. Staff are all friendly. It's clean, easily accessible, classy, great for a romantic break. Rooms are lovely. The swimming pool downstairs and jacuzzi are fun. There are bars nearby. Plus Boris Bikes. Also the Millennium Bridge to pop over and have a laugh at the stuff in the Tate Modern.
H. A.
Excellent hotel. Fantastic leisure facilities, spacious clean room and good breakfast. Hotel is in a good location for wandering around London. We have not stayed in this chain of hotels before but we will look out for it in the future.
S. Y.
People usually comment on the room or the food. Those were fine. My shout out is for the concierge staff. Being unfamiliar with this specific part of London, we needed specific help getting around or booking last minute flights. The concierge staff were on it and extremely thorough and got us to places we needed to be in a hurry and on time. Bravo!
D. T.
Had a drink here, the bartender was inexperienced, and did not know basic drinks.
Considering you pay a premium to drink in this bar, I would expect experienced and knowledgeable bar staff at all times, especially given there is many different choices locally.
The ambiance of the bar is really good, with comfortable seating.
Great for a quite intimate drink as long you don't mind telling the bar person how to serve particular drinks.
L. A.
Whilst being at this venue, you can enjoy a wonderful view and doing business on the 7th floor. There's a bar, a cloakroom and other facilities you may need for a bigger event. The entrance is nice and you immediately feel you're amongst the upper classes. Everything is clean, staff is very polite and friendly. I will keep this in mind as suggestion for future business events!
c. O.
Lovely hotel, impressed by the courtesy of the staff, will stay again.
T. L.
Definitely not of 5 star standard... A very good 3 star hotel which is overpriced.
Rooms are very dated, chipped wood, marks on walls and bathroom tiles. Very old-school fridge which charges through the nose.
Staff do not seem like they want to be there.
Will not stay here again... Better hotels in the area for the same prices.
G. B.
Staff could have been friendlier for a 5 star hotel. Room was basic, small tv and mini bar very expensive. £3 for a kit Kat! Had to walk outside from reception to get to rooms. However nice gym and pool and excellent location
D. M.
This is my 2nd stay. Great location business travelers, close to business centre and just far enough from touristy centre. Service level is above average. Professional and well trained staff. Rooms are above average...my room during my 1st stay was not as nice. So experiences may vary. Only request would be for better TV in room. Small and old tv about the size of a 24" monitor. I would recommend.
I. B.
The Grange is quite difficult to review, It has some really nice features but for a place that advertises itself as 5 star it also has quite a few irritations (and I know these are small things but they just seem so fixable it makes them more irritating somehow).
- Sky bar is it's best feature but entirely unused for the benefit of guests, furniture shabby and decking had holes in (covered with obligatory cleaning signs), had to ring room service to bring drinks up, lots of bushes and heaters placed along edge almost as if they are trying to block the amazing view of st Paul's (see pic)
- the spa and pool are nice but they have a lot of wasted space with side rooms of varying temperatures that seemed to be entirely unused. The spa advertises a lot of services but doesn't seem to have people there who can provide them all (not over the days I stayed anyway).
- the rooms are variable but the staff are willing to move you around if you ask (so you probably should). I found the studio apartments outside the main building literally disconnected and wouldn't recommend. Some rooms have internal only views (not great), some rooms have a brick wall view (also not great). I did have a rooms with a view of st Paul's that was nice.
- the rooms come with a million things that emit little lights, if you prefer darkness to sleep get ready to bury everything in cushions.
- Every room has an old fashioned iPod docking clock, I don't think these can connect to modern Apple phones though. The TVs are small and can't be angled to view from the bed very well.
- Bathrooms are ok except the shower was directed at the wall not the bath so kinda hard to wash.
- I switched from a room that had some stained furniture and marked up walls.
All in all this doesn't seem like a 5 star place and I think I would have been less irritated if I had expected a bit less.
T.
Fantastic location just yards from the cathedral, decent quality rooms and service. Only slightly let down by one of the lifts not working that meant a bit of a wait as it went to every floor, every time, packed (and was apparently a common occurrence according to regular guests) - but only slightly marred a fantastic stay.
M. B.
great hotel, lovely room. but the small things let down our stay. massive queue to checkin. Very unhelpful bar lady ... £8 expensive gin and tonic in small tumbler.... said the gin glasses where being cleaned or when i pushed they did not have any. Went for a sauna and it was out of order and the large steam bath was booked out for a party so not available. Glass elevators a nighmare waited 5 mins twice and ended up using stairs.Lastly queued for breakfast then had to join a second non queuing group of people to be sat at table in random order annoying some as was not organised.
G. M.
Very good events space. Good location too.
M. C.
It didn't live up to my expectation of a five star hotel. The check in process was laboriously long and coupled with the fact that our rooms weren't ready by 17:00 gave a poor first impression. The service of the bar staff was curt and didn't enhance the experience. The check out process wasn't very slick and there seemed to be some delays without explanation being offered The room was very well presented with good facilities and a comfy bed
K. K.
What an amazing location! Perfect for a few days in London. Room was great, just what we needed. It would of been even better if we hadn't had to pay extra to use the fridge. We only needed as we were with a baby.
Breakfast was fantastic. Very busy at times and few of staff members were absolutely phenomenal, to cover so many bases. Sadly I couldn't remember all of their names. There was a girl a supervisor maybe at the podium and everywhere else really. There was anorher girl black hair name was Diana D. I believe. The last but not least Minko. Only downside on breakfast, there was no high chair for little girl. Not something you would of expected from hotel of this rank.
S. D.
Beautiful building, nice breakfast 👌
T. M.
Most amazing hotel I've ever stayed in. The hotel is in easy walking distance of a number of attractions, most notably St Paul's Cathedral. You have to be overdressed and smell of money to get nice attitude. From the moment I arrived in a taxi the service was impressive.
S. C.
Great hotel. Excellent service. I definitely recommend booking into the spa well in advance- totally gutted I couldn't get an appointment. Had to checkout early so reception arranged a doggy bag of breakfast for me :)
C. S.
Great location, nice comfortable room at a reasonable price for London .Average service, roof top bar was closed even though reception said it was open but you could purchase a drink from the ground floor bar and then bring it back up to the terrace to drink. Nice city views , close to river and tube
D.
Nice comfy bed and quiet room.Shame the bar shut a bit early for our liking
K. H.
First class hotel. Staff very attentive and friendly. A fantastic breakfast with lots of choice. Great choice of cocktails at reasonable prices. Really like the atmosphere and overall feel of the hotel. Would definitely recommend.
P. R.
Lovely views if you pay the extra, but this hotel is overpriced. The rooms are too old fashioned to command the money being asked. It was reminiscent of an airport hotel in terms of lack of character. At half the price, it would have been a good choice.
A. K.
Visited the hotel for a rather large professional event. I felt the facilities were adequately large and well-presented, and the staff controlled human traffic well - despite the number of people things moved quite smoothly. It was simple getting to the hotel via several different transport lines, although none are right next to it. Overall, the Grange hosted a successful event, to which their staff and facilities certainly contributed.
J. K.
Spent 2 days at Grange St. Paul's attending a conference in November and was blown away by their concierge - Istvan - who went above and beyond to help out with a package I was shipping overseas. This man is a true professional and made for the job - you can tell by speaking with him how passionate he is about helping and guiding people in the right direction. What's even more mind-blowing is the fact that I wasn't even staying at the hotel! I received 2 courtesy calls from Istvan to let me know that my shipment has been taken care of. If my budget will ever allow me to stay at this hotel it'll be my first pick because of Istvan. The least I can do is say a warm thank you for all the help I received from him/aka the hotel. World class customer service. You should be a role model for all concierge reps and hope management will notice not only this comment but your kind and top of the line services. Btw. the lobby - incredible, super clean, fresh. The food was excellent, and the barista at the home-starbucks absolutely lovely.
Ł. L.
Good but not perfect. The stay was ok for business trip. Great location, but unfortunately the rooms wasn’t perfect.
Sometimes there’s missing stuff that you want to have in 5 star hotel.
p.
Reasonable value for money all things considered and great location.
Comfy beds and room but lifts a pain when busy!
P. S.
Hotel looks very beautiful but the rooms are small and the TV is very small, not user friendly. For the breakfast food verity is not much, the beckon is not crispy and the staff are not that friendly. Calling for room service or reception and even house keeping early in the morning after 2am there is no one answering my call. Other then that the hotel has a very excellent fitness and spa facilities.
E. B.
I was blown away by this placement
As I was going to a wedding earlier than check in I arrived and expected to have to change in the toilets but was offered to use the spa facilities and showers and changing rooms.
The room was beautiful and the breakfast more than sufficient. Only gripe would be that initially it was difficult getting tea/coffee service from an overstretched catering team.
Will be looking to return.
I. M.
Great location, fantastic building. We got great late offer from Last Minute and then got upgrade to executive room. Room was very nice. We used the spa facilities too - pool, sauna, etc. All very well set up.
Y. S.
The location is amazing. A few minutes walk to St. Pauls. The lobby area and the seating area are spacious and nicely laid out. However, the rooms are dark and cramped. However, the biggest disappointment is the lobby bars and the service. Pretty inept and unfriendly staff soured the experience.
R. D.
It was lovely, although there were a number of small errors that just dulled the polish a little. Room service, whilst quick to correct the error initially arrived with out sweet course, no cutlery but did have ketchup 🤣 otherwise, it was lovely. Worth a stay and quite a romantic destination
M. H. P.
Apart from the fantastic location, this hotel stands out because of its pool, sauna, steamroom and fitness facilities. There's a whole wellness and gym area for guests, even classes to join, and powerplate. Howell service is good though a bit slow sometimes. The lobby extends both sides of the elevators plus there are other lounge areas on the first floor so it's tough to find people sometimes, need to really clarify. But these areas are great to have, and it's spacious.
S. M.
O. K. Do not understand how they got those five stars. Breakfast is really good, pool is small, lanconium and steam room are filthy, and sauna... take thetanus shot before use. And most important: Do not leave nothing in room or table unattended because room keeping service will take it as rubbish... Funny and sad in the same time. Beds and other are good, nothing unseen in hotels with three or four stars...

The décor in the rooms is outdated, they need to replace the dying flowers in the lobby, and the staff could be friendlier, but those are honestly the only flaws I can find. The staff were helpful, the rooms clean and tidy, the bed was extremely comfortable, the breakfast had a great selection, and overall the hotel has a great feel. This is a fantastic price for a conveniently located hotel. I don't think I'll ever stay anywhere else in London again!

Nice hotel, friendly staff who were very helpful. Room good, comfy bed. Lots of choice at breakfast but atrocious service, however, would stay again.

Staff were wonderful informative and professional. Room was clean. Don't think I've ever stayed in such a nice modern hotel. We had use of facilities including gym and spa. Would definitely go again

Good location. Literally only 100-200 meter from St. Paul Cathedral. Very nice room. However, the shower head in our rooms were permanent, attached on the top of the ceiling, not a detachable one. So everytime I showered, my hair would get wet.

The hotel is nice, with good size modern rooms, even if most of them have no window on the exterior. The spa is not very good, old and not particularly clean. The hotel often has very competitive rates, and can be a very good solution when London is very busy and expensive.

A fabulous hotel overlooking St Paul's cathedral. Amazing breakfast.

We got an "upgrade" to the business suites down the road a bit. Room has good features, comfy bed but horrendous pillows. The hotel itself, and the annex we are in, is very good overall. The spa pool is lovely, make sure you bring swimming outfit!

Excellent hotel. The fitness and spa is really nice. Our room was large enough, nicely decorated. It is a pity that there is nothing going rooftop bar.

Stayed here with my girlfriend for our anniversary in a superior room. Everything about the hotel was exactly what we wanted. Breath-taking reception with multiple bars and restaurants. Not the cheapest place to stay, but without a doubt worth the money. Walking distant from Big Ben, London bridge etc so very convenient if you're there for the touristy things. Would have loved to be able to stay another night!!

Stayed 3 nights last summer. You will find all luxuries and comforts expected in a modern business hotel. Plush new like property. Great location. Quick and convenient access to underground.

If you're staying here you'll need to hunt out Baynard House car park, it's probably the only reasonably priced one in central London and is perfectly located for this hotel. The hotel is very well presented and has some impressive, but obstructed views, of central London and St Paul's. The event we attended left a lot to be desired though. I'm not sure how much of this was linked to the event organisers choice, but the drink options were very limited and the food was very small portions and most times you had to chase the waiting staff down to grab anything. The hotel does seem nice and looks impressive so I guess maybe we were unlucky

Room tidy and well laid out, fresh and clean except carpet was not preperly vacuumed. Decoration is tired. Needs modernisation. Staff were attentive, helpful and polite.

Stayed for a few nights on a business trip - can only really review the room as I didn't venture in to the health club or restaurants - the room is fine, I could hear the Thames link trains pull up every few minutes but other than that it was relatively quiet. Everything is clean and of good quality, mini bar is reasonably priced for a mini bar but room service is way too expensive. Free gym access for all those staying is a nice added perk.

Even after the ownership change, service seems to be still on good form. Decent venue to be at if you’d like to have a proper conversation with someone. There’s food and drink service to the sofa you’re sitting at the New Bell Yard entrance.
J. S.
Nice rooms and relatively well priced. Bad customer service and no where to find a drink after the bars closed. Problematic on one of the hottest days of the year.

Nice and clean hotel
Accessibility (4/5)
The train and bus stops are just nearby. Less than 3min walk.
Cleanliness (4/5)
Clean hotel, the towels and shower gels are changed everyday, the toilet and bathtub is very clean as well.
Amenities (3.75/5)
The hotel doesnt have gym nor swimming pool. They do have a nice cosy lounge at the lobby thou. The room we have is a double queen bed, good and spacious. Just that the TV is rather small for hotel of this quality. The TV channels are pretty good thou. Numerous restaurants and supermart are just nearby.
Service (3.75/5)
The staff are very friendly, the receptionist was very helpful to help us circle the places of interest and the route to walk. Thou some staffs could be new to the job, like morning call, 2-3 calls by different person informing us of morning calls.

Free Wi-Fi is a good thing for sure, but bathrooms? Meh, not so good. Regardless, t's in a great place - near to shops, bus stopes and restaurants:)

Close to St Paul's cathedral and the Thames, this is a modern hotel with very high standards of customer service. This is my four visit as a delegate of a conference. At short notice the chef provided me with a gluten free lunch. The doorman posted a letter for me even though the letterbox was a block away from the main entrance. If you are considering a conference in London, talk to customer services.

The sky terrace is absolutely amazing. You can see astonishing view of St Paul Cathedral. Since I went here only to attend events, I did not have a chance to stay here long. However, the staffs were very friendly and helpful. If you fancy a place that located in central London with a good view, this is the place.

Nice upscale hotel close to key tourist attractions in London. Staff was very helpful and the breakfast is quite good as well. My only two small complaints were the lack of drawers for clothing in the room and the deep shower that had a very high step which could be difficult for some people.
D. V.
Friendly staff, perfect location and fantastic rooms.
I liked the luxury of this hotel, as well as its Continental Breakfast.
Rooms are unlocked via an RFID card, which makes them super convenient to access.

Absolutely beautiful view from the rooftop. The staff was extremely accommodating, food and drink were outstanding. We held a corporate cocktail party for 125 people and it was a huge success. Would definitely recommend
J. C.
Attended for a corporate reception. Modern interior design and open forum dining space makes the most of the large high ceilings. Sky bar has good service and decent views across the city.

Great for a relaxing weekend in the city. Close to lots of sights including St Paul's cathedral, the tower of London, tower bridge, the Barbican and well connected with tubes buses and bicycles. Had a great time using the gym, pool and sauna areas. Enough equipment and all very clean.

Great location. Stunning views from rooftop bar.

Brilliant location for the sights of the City and Southbank, with very easy access to Westminster sights if required. Stunning hotel, great rooms, huge comfy beds. Very relaxing bar area to meet and have a drink. Found the price of the room to be reasonable for a 5 Star London hotel for 3 nights. Arrived early before the check in time but was allowed to check in anyway which was great service and given complimentary late check out.
Issues: Very cheap 1ply toilet roll for a hotel of this calibre, like something you would get in cheap b+b. Not a major issue but was a little unexpected.
Food and drink very expensive even for 5 star. Continental breakfast in room price but full english £23!! Went to a nearby cafe for half the price on the day I wanted a full english

A big hotel built in a great location. Spacious, well-decorated rooms with all the amenities you expect in a 5 star hotel BUT not so friendly staff (the check-in was fast but without a single smile on any of the hotel staff's face), not super clean rooms (I found hair in the bath tub) and I was woken up from the noise of people speaking loudly and laughing in the corridor at 2 AM (this one's probably not the hotel's fault, it can happen anywhere...)
J. C.
Absolutely gorgeous hotel with a spa and a beautiful pool
T. K.
The best hotel in Central london.perfect location for all tourist attractions. Excellent amenities. Helpful staff. Nice food. I took half board. Memorable experience and I'll return on next opportunity

A business hotel that is spot-on perfect in every important way...
1. Phenomenally excellent location. At the top of Ludgate Hill, steps from St Paul's Cathedral (request a cathedral-view room!), within 2-3 minute walk from three Tube stations (St Paul's, Blackfriars, and Mansion House), and centrally located to all the sights in Zone 1. (Including many excellent pubs and restaurants close-by.)
2. Excellent staff, from GM to kitchen and room staff. For example, during my last stay, I noted an event to occur at St Paul's... Too late to get tickets. And yet the concierge did just that, obtained 2 free admission tickets. And the dining staff who help make the morning breakfasts more than mere fueling stops. And of course the front desk agents, often harried but always helpful and pleasant.
3. Yummy breakfast buffet. Just excellent.
I have stayed at many hotels in London, and have a few favorites, but I will always return to the Grange St Paul's. So good you almost do not want to leave!
B. S.
Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Room was dim. Key card had to be reprogrammed every day. TV small. It was clean and is located near St Paul Cathedral, a quiet neighborhood away from crowded attractions. Several pubs and restaurants nearby. 4 blocks to underground.
V. J.
The temperature in the bedrooms is kept at 22 to 23 degrees Celsius, way to hot! The windows are locked and it took me a call to housekeeping to get the window open. That freed up 5 cm of space. Airco allows you to deviate 3 degrees up (!) or down, but getting it down requires you to maintain a 3* noise level. After 48 hours at this level and window open the temp dropped 2 degrees and the next day I left. I did not sleep well there.

Excellent hotel, rooms very clean and bed very comfy. The breakfast as good, nice selection. The spa was good, only downside is the pool was a bit cold, the skybar is great and obviously the location is superb.
P. M.
Very slow service. Meal on second night chicken dry and inedible. Room cold, no tv.on Monday morning. Because the room was completely overlooked by other apartments had to keep curtains closed all of the time. Concierge service excellent.

The 5 Star review is because of Amer on Reception .. simple .. what a wonderful staff member you have. After enquiring as to why we were staying, he upgraded my boyfriend and I for our anniversary and brought us up an extremely tasty cake .. you made our night so special .. thank you ♥️

I attended for a work function on the sky bar roof terrace. It was an excellent evening with attentive staff, a beautiful space and stunning views of the city. Good food was circulating alongside champagne. Would love to be able to attend again in the future.

Great service. We arrived very early from overseas and the staff found us a room hours before check in so that we could get some sleep. Very nice, clean rooms.
S. M.
Very nice hotel in a central location and reasonable rates.

This really is the place to stay for location. In between Blackfriars and Mansion house station (on the circle and district line) you can easily get to your desired destination. You are literally right beside the magnificent St Paul's cathedral which leads around to St Paul's station (the circle line). That means getting places is super easy. We needed to get to St Pancras on our last day so just walked 10 minutes down the street where the City Thameslink was- you can get a straight train to Kings Cross/St Pancras from there.
Staff are friendly and the room is lovely and modern. No need to book breakfast here as there are plenty of places to eat around the hotel. Save your pennies and try something else. A couple of issues to note however.... One night the people in the room next to us had the TV or radio playing very loud pat 11pm. I couldn't sleep and phoned reception. It took a ridiculous amount of time for someone to pick up and they never asked the room to turn their music down as requested. We ended up turning the aircon on full blast to drown it out. That and the bath mat had mould on it so wasn't ever cleaned properly. Apart from those things, a great place to stay.
