Reviews of Limegrove Hotel
My partner and I stayed here a while ago and had a very pleasant stay. We were both looking for a low budget accommodation near the bus station and close to the city center and Limegrove fit the bill. We arrived at the hotel earlier than expected but they were very kind and held our large suitcases for us which allowed us to walk around the city hands free. Considering the price and its location, we were happy with our stay!
I have had the pleasure of staying on and off at Limegrove Hotel for many years now. I choose it because of the friendly reception I receive together with an excellent full english breakfast. The rooms are spotlessly clean with freshly ironed bed linen and are cleaned daily by very friendly staff. The location is perfect being next to Victoria station and all the transport facilities and links to other parts of London and the south east. In addition it is within walking distance of most of central London. Well done Limegrove.
Nice hotel.
Stuff is really friendly, bathroom is tiny but enough to stay couple days.
The situation is perfect, really close to coach and train station and just 20 minutes for the city center.
Will come back next time.
The breakfast is included and serve in the room, enough for start ur day with a coffe and a toast.
Thin walls... Shower and toilets are outside the rooms and quite small. Breakfast is average and quite small portions. Nice, friendly staff who bring breakfast in bed, it's a cheap and cheerful place to stay and right next to Victoria station, ideal for tourists.
I’m a professional doing my business in London. As I don’t live in the city I stay whilst on business in the Limegrove hotel. I’ve stayed here many times in various different rooms and have been satisfied. The rooms are plain and facilities are fine They are very clean. The unique thing about this hotel is that they have English breakfast served in the room on time. This is an old English tradition that you don’t really see in London anymore. A home from home.

I had a really good time staying at the Limegrove! All of the staff were really friendly and the full English Breakfast was really nice. I am a bit confused why some people have said it was not an enjoyable stay. Granted it is not the Ritz, but the price they charge is more than fair and well worth every penny. To all of the staff at the Limegrove thank you.

I stayed in 3 hotels during my stay in London and I can confidently say that Limestone was the best while also being the lowest priced. The important amenities that I look for when I stay at a bnb/hotel are wifi connection, cleanliness, and breakfast. Limestone had great wifi, was very clean, and they actually cook their breakfast rather than give you processed pastry. I would highly recommend limestone out of all the hotel around the areas.
Room was clean and comfortable, just a short walk to the tube. The lady was very welcoming and we got a lovely breakfast. Will definitely book again if we return to London. Thank you
Stayed in room 2 here it is amazing! so clean and tidy i didnt even feel the need to have to clean a little myself, i would recommend anyone to stay here prices are brilliant and staff are lovely, will be coming back again
It was an amazing stay with incredibly friendly staff. Pretty sad to see all the bad reviews which aren’t true at all!!!
Brillant friendly place ideal location the rooms are basic but they are clean brillant place to stay if you are doing london on a budget. The staff are friendley and very helpful the place could do with a little bit of paint here anc there
Stayed 1 night in this hotel. It's very good for the money. Great Central location and very near Victoria tube station. OK so not 5 star hotel but great value.
Best family run hotel in London
I have always been coming to this place for over 5 years now. Have a range of rooms to offer, always like an ensuite, but the rooms are clean, breakfast is great, and the service tops it all, personal treat you like an old friend.
the owners are very helpful and friendly!! Had a really good night staying here with my friends
Because the lady accepted me when my flight wa
s delayed..i arrived so late in morning...the single room was adequate with a really good mattress...i asked for call and got served with such a lovely breakfast and light call...thankyou so much for your hospitality i soo appreciated it...xx
It was a home from home, very clean and friendly and the cooked breakfast is brought to the room.Thank ,you Joyce and the girls.
Very helpful staff/manager. It is low budget so don't think you can compare it to a Hilton, but it is clean and comfortable.
Very convenient place as it is extremely close to the Victoria train/bus station. Also, the staff and management are very hospitable and friendly. Well maintained and clean.
I have stayed several times in Limegrove hotel in Victoria London.Joyce the manageress runs this place with great passion for the hospitality industry and so are the staff.Rooms are clean and tidy and one of the very few to serve an English breakfast and it is served ion the room at a great cost to this hotel as few staff would like to walk the stairs to serve the breakfast.I would keep coming to this pleasant hotel.
Very friendly owners/ staff, so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast fab Rooms spotless, service 24/7
A really good value for money. It is perfect to spend a few days! A great location and a lovely breakfast and staff.
Small but clean. Slightly cramped showers, perfectly adequate room for the price. Not meant for more than sleeping, which is easy to do in this quiet (for London) neighborhood. No bedbugs in sight, which were left in some negative reviews. Staff were perfectly accommodating and no issues were had at check in or check out. Good value for money if you are an able bodied traveller who does not expect the Ritz.
I just wanted to say to those who complain about 'bed bugs', they are generally brought in by people traversing the continent. I have treated many rooms in Australia especially 'back-packers'.
It lacked any good bathrooms. They where small and always wet . Rooms were clean but they need a revamp. Was a shame.
This is/was a lovely place to stay and in the mornings we were served with a fantastic cooked Breakfast in our room....
Provides value for money. Room quite cramped we even had a dining table in the room but it did the job
Excellent value for money and close to Victoria station. Great breakfast comfortable rooms and bed 👍
Its in a very good location making it easy to get to and to get to all the site seeing places I needed to go. The place itself is fairly basic but the prices are reasonable.
Clean and pretty cheap, looks a little rundown but they do a good job of keeping it clean, and the managers are very friendly and helpful.
Super nice people ! Nice clean rooms. And close to Victoria Station !
I had a lovely stay, the hotel was clean and the staff friendly.
Yesss
The staff was really nice on a very short notice and late at night. The rooms were clean and perfectly adequate! I definitely recommend it!
Good value. Handy location. Friendly staff. Clean room.
I was only there for 3 hours and it was okay.
Very good quality! a clean hotel and very nice people!
A lodging place for persons with low budget who still want to stay in the heart of london
They were very goud to us. We engoyed our stay
Very clean
Cheap and cheerful perfect for one night
Fair value for London and well situated
Excellent location not a bad place and nice and friendly people
Haven't been to this hotel
Please ignore
The rooms are cosy and clean with high ceilings.
The heating was on full blast but the windows open offer a cool breeze.
The room didn't have an en suite and the shared bathroom is smaller than a cupboard but the water is hot, the toilet is clean and it serves its purpose.
The breakfast is small but cooked perfectly.
I would definitely visit again and recommend.
For a place to rest your head in the middle of London, I was happily surprised.
Breakfast was very good
Our stay was short but we had a good stay overall. The place was simple but tidy and clean. We cant comment on the breakfast as we did not have it but another guest who did said it was good
Great place to stay.
🏆 10/10
Great A Top little spot
Good
Great location
The hotel is quite decent. The price is well justified by the location. The staff is very friendly, and the cleaning is really excellent!
Unfortunately, the rooms are very old and in need of renovation. It's also really awful how loud the shower pump(?) is when someone takes a shower. It sounds like someone is drying their hair in the room next to you, which is absolutely loud and very annoying when people take a shower late at night when you're already in bed.
The hotel is okay. The rooms are clean, but could use a renovation to bring them up to modern standards. The price is perfectly reasonable, with a meager breakfast. Considering the location near Buckingham Palace, the three stars are appropriate. But nothing more. Judge for yourself.
Excellent location, excellent price for being August and considering that we were 3 people and it included a delicious English-style breakfast every morning.
The owners and staff are very friendly!! If they are not at reception, ring the bell and someone appears.
Triple room with a very clean private bathroom, although like all hotels in the Pimlico area, all the rooms are very small and there is little space to move around. In any case, one is little in the room.
We have had a hot week and they have provided us with a fan that has helped us have a better time.
USB charger as an alternative, water heater and coffee and milk to drink all day.
Point to improve is the smell that was felt between the humidity and the disinfectant. An air freshener could help.
I recommend it if you want a hotel at a good price, with breakfast and an excellent location.
If you have no problem with small spaces, it is ideal
The location was fantastic, just off Victoria Coach Station and Victoria Station. Clean and quite cheap, it looks a little old, but it does a good job to keep it clean. Hotel suitable for those who want to put your head and luggage, do not wait more than that. Small rooms, but they are used properly. Free movement because you keep the key on the front door.
A budget hotel that is just excellent for a week's stay. It's perfect for playing tourist. Close to the palace (15 min), Victoria Station (5 min), Big Ben and Parliament (20 min). Breakfast included and served in the room. Friendly staff. I don't give it 5/5 just for the old side but it's really a question of taste. I will return there without any worries.
Great location of the hotel (a few minutes walk to Victoria Station, 10-15 minutes to Buckingham Palace). Very nice, helpful staff. Clean and tidy rooms, although I honestly admit that the walls need refreshing. Delicious breakfast (toast, cereal with milk, tea and orange juice (served from 07:30). The price for the room, considering the location and the breakfast option, is really satisfactory.
2nd time in this very practical and functional hotel.
Excellent welcome, lovely and understanding staff, manager, I appreciated keeping my huge suitcase for a few hours at no additional cost.
1st bedroom with bathroom on the landing, large and clean but to share.
2nd day which was not planned, rehoused in the basement with a view of a small adorable but inaccessible terrace. small, clean bathroom.
For both rooms tea, coffee, sugar available, adapter on request.
I will happily come back for short business shopping trips etc.
We had a superb stay! The place is clean and super well located! The staff is very pleasant! Just the bedding is not great! But the included breakfast is very good
We will come back to it!
(Translated) Friendly staff, we were warmly welcomed. Breakfast is ok. However, very small rooms and dirty bathrooms.

Freundliches Personal, wir wurden herzlich aufgenommen. Frühstück ist ok. Allerdings sehr kleine Zimmer und schmutziges Bad.
Photos do not correspond to reality... room not very clean and dilapidated... carpet now gone... place suitable only and exclusively for overnight stay... acceptable continental breakfast.
A place offering Bed plus breakfast. Discreet operation, freedom of movement thanks to the entrance door key. The continental breakfast will satisfy your appetite without any problems
The hotel is very well located, but the rooms are somewhat shabby and expensive, and the bathroom is miserable.
Not very clean, very small rooms, hotel completely in need of renovation, these are the negative aspects, among the positive aspects instead; location, price, availability of the managers.
Very small and modest. Breakfast in the room. Price-performance is right. Nice reception
Our stay was pleasant, the staff were very lovely, friendly and helpful. The room was very reasonably priced and the location was fantastic, right near Victoria Station. The WiFi however was so slow that it was almost nonexistent, and the continental breakfast wasn't really value for money (some toast, cereal and tea). Overall, not bad it could easily be a 5 Star if they sorted those things out.
Very convenient a stone's throw from Victoria stations. Friendly and helpful staff. Right value for money.
(Translated) 3 star hotel suitable for those who want to put their head and luggage, do not expect more than that ... small rooms but used properly, IKEA style design, warm feeling, equipped with everything you need. Everything is new and clean but not of a high standard.

(Translated) Place in a great location, a little old but very neat and clean. Friendly and caring staff

Posto in ottima posizione, un po' vecchio ma molto curato e pulito. Personale gentile e premuroso
Very friendly people.
Fantastic breakfast.
Well located.
Very cheap, great location (Victoria Station), very simple
A little small. But the breakfast and service were excellent.
(Translated) A very good hotel. Thank you !

Ein sehr gutes Hotel. Danke !
Cozy
A very pleasant stay in London. Especially on the 31st of December when everywhere else was so expensive. This hotel took us in. People have to realise that London is a world class expensive city. This hotel offers budget rooms which are wholly acceptable. You are staying in the centre of London only one kilometre from Buckingham palace. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. When I visit London again this will be my hotel. I am saddened by some of the criticisms. These people should stay in the big hotels and pay a fortune.
I have stayed at this hotel and find it to be good value for money. The staff especially the manageress Joyce is very friendly and accommodating.
The rooms are basic but are very clean and English breakfast is served in your room, which is a great service at the price you pay for the room.
I found it to be very well priced and value for money!
I would recommend it to any one who is thinking of staying in London and want to be near Victoria station which is only a 5min walk away!

We came down to London for a pub crawl and needed a place for the night. My friend found this B&B on Travel Stay. For central London my friend after sine research found this the most reasonably priced for a central London location. Getting here from the station (Victoria) was easy but I was disappointed the room was not ready on our arrival as I wanted to shower. The room was a bit small for my liking but I later found out to be fair it was average for the area. Positives it was very well kept and clean. Breakfast was good for the price we paid and staff were very hospitable.
