Nice clean, well finished rooms, if not a little small. Note there is major construction work to the rear of the hotel, wasn't an issue for us as it was over the Christmas break, but could pose an issue we'll into 2022 for others. Continental Breakfast was good. Staff friendly & helpful.

These folks were great and absolutely saved the day. We originally booked a different hotel a few doors down which we promptly left when, in addition to several other issues which we could have dealt with, we realized the door to our room wasn't able to close properly or even lock! At 6pm on a Friday evening Ryckie, at the desk at London House, immediately stepped up to plate and knocked customer service out of the park. She took the time to show me several different rooms and get pricing sorted, and made sure that we had everything we needed for our weekend stay. The rest of the staff were also pleasant and very helpful, and they even held our bags after check out while we enjoyed our last few hours in the city.
While the rooms are fairly small we found them cozy and comfortable. The shower was plenty hot and had good pressure and the tea set up and mini fridge were just what we needed. The location is also great for food and public transport.
I'd absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Just because its inexpensive does not mean its cheap! Place is everything you want in a major city, location 1 accessible 2 friendly 3. Made a error with my original room at check in but fixed it while i went for a quick walk. Even though the other room was fine just not with garden view. $60 odd quid a night for Kensington gardens (seriously) you could pay $300 next door. They must be laundering money! Even the 3 girls at reception were gorgeous, fact!

Great location in a quiet square behind Whiteleys. The rooms and beds are small but well proportioned. Clean and we'll maintained rooms and common areas. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We had the room with garden views which was lovely to wake up to. Breakfast was good too. We will def recommend and will return

Compact but well appointed and equipped room, making for a very comfortable and enjoyable two night stay.
Only minutes from Paddington in a lovely tree lined ,quiet square.
Reception staff were so lovely with a great sense of humour.
Would not hesitate to choose to stay again and again.

The rooms were very clean and the front desk helped us navigate how to get around. We were welcomed and were able to leave our luggage until it was time to check-in

For a London hotel this is excellent value for money. Lovely crisp white bedding . Breakfast expensive but plenty of cafes around. Pleasant staff. Reception area bright clean and welcoming

Excellent location, very friendly. The family room was ideal for me and my daughters. Comfy beds and we'll equipped

Very small but clean rooms. There is a massive construction site right next to the hotel, they are only supposed to be working 9-5 but we heard very loud noises early in the morning, way after 5 and sometimes in the middle of the night.
They wanted to give us a room in the basement that was recently painted and when I wouldn't take it they agreed to "upgrade" the room to second floor with windows straight to the construction for a discounted price of 30 pounds.
Location is good, there's a tube station nearby with access to circle and district line.
M. S.
A lovely and spacious room in the perfect location, fitted with everything I needed. Also I found the hotel to be extremely clean and friendly staff throughout. All in all a very enjoyable experience
Grazie mile! Ci torneró

Great location with access to tube/buses. Although the room was small it was spotlessly clean. Garden View over Kensington Garden Square. Kettle/tea/coffee in the room and a fridge in the wardrobe. Toiletries included and big bath towels in shower room. The double bed a little on the small side. Very hot in room, aircon didn't seem to work and windows don't open, also some very noisy active neighbours!! All in all a lovely stay, would recommend.
E. T.
Excellent hotel, great service, very good location. Definitely will be staying again when in London
J. J.
A fantastic location, the booking process is simple, the staff are welcoming and eager to help, checking_in is smooth and the room was amazing. I had a lovely time with my family. Kindhearted manager.

I use this hotel for my business trips to London.
Great location, always clean.
J. W.
I love this hotel! It is so clean and well located. It is very central but peaceful and charming. The staff is beyond lovely and accommodating, I will for sure be back to stay at this little gem.
Gratitude!
B. S.
Great value staff is so nice I go there regularly bets stay in London the price is phenomenal for the location and hotel is super clean
J. B.
I really thought it was going to be great. Rooms are loud and the garden view is the street which is noisy and the other side has construction
J. H.
Absolutely fantastic hotel The staff are so friendly Room so fresh and bright with a FREE-safe. Hotel is so clean and quiet Lots of choices for breakfast We were on a stag weekend and had 4 rooms between us everyone was 100% happy !!! Definitely will be back 🙏

I found this hotel to be of a great value and an excellent choice for european standards. It is very well located in London Bayswater. Arrival was smooth and easy, friendly staff upon check-in and well appointed room. My husband absolutely loves the view to the leafy garden which is a plus. We also enjoyed the all you can eat breakfast and we were able to leave our luggage in their custody on departure, so that gave us the chance to enjoy a lovely morning walk to Portobello Road, another city gem
Overall a very nice stay, and we can only reccommend, they really took care of us
J. N.
Entrance is great. Staff are so friendly and helpful. The bedroom need upgrading. Facilities all worked well. It is in a fairly quiet area with 3 tube stations a short walk away. Great for Notting Hill. We will go back there.
J. V.
Excellent place to stay. Easy and pleasant walk to the West end. Near Bayswater tube station. Many places nearby for evening meals.
f.
The location was excellent, there were great transport links nearby- staff were nice, the room was okay it was a little smaller than the pictures, the windows were REALLY thin and cracked, the biggest issue we had was on our second night we came home to an infestation of ants in our room, we went to reception and were given bug spray so we sorted it but it was a bit gross and not what you expect when in a hotel room
K. H.
The staff is so sweet and the location is prime!!
The price is right but the rooms are small. We have a nice view in a nice neighborhood.
I would definitely recommend this spot if you’re planning on being w tourist and not spending much time in the hotel.
It’s close to the tube and paddington station
d. l.
location is great if you are OK with using the subway, about a 10 min ride to the main attractions. front desk was really helpful. it seems hotel was recently renovated, rooms are small. before i booked a room here i read a lot of reviews about the construction in the back and the noise, i just gotta say one thing construction starts at 0800 and stops at 1800, if you are vacationing and you are at the hotel within those hours then you must be a really boring person, sure there is construction but why are you at the hotel before 1800? anyways great service
B. P.
Nothing to bad, but nothing great. The location isn't too noisy, save the building works and being able to hear anything in the corridor very clearly due to the gap under the door.
The rooms are very very small, but clean. Warm enough on a cold day. The shower was a lukewarm dribble and the breakfast was very underwhelming. The coffee machine looked like it was last washed some years ago. However the desk staff were lovely and it was all painless so no great complaints.
M. P.
Absolutely loved staying here last week. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Hotel is kept clean to a very high standard. Room was lovely and bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again😁

This is a late review, I stayed here in early October 2018. I had a twin bed solo room, it was great. The room was great it was super clean the rooms are small compared to US standards but it was super cozy! and the service was great. The shower looks small but I fit perfectly, I did not touch glass and easily moved around and reached toes with no issues and although I am 5'3" I am overweight and still I fit just fine. The only thing I was disappointed was that there is no laundry service there, but around the corner across the street there is a laundromat that will do your laundry in 2 hours. I loved my stay here its near a lot of restaurants and walking distance to Big Bus Tours. I would gladly stay here again. Some people complained about the noise at night, but I can say I had no issues.
E. C.
Great location, close to the metro stations and plenty or restaurants and supermarkets. The room was very small and near the lift which was a bit annoying. Blackout curtains were good, and the bed quiet comfortable. We booked a garden view room and had a nice view of the park across the road. I'd stay there again.
S. R.
Such friendly, helpful and kind staff. Couldn't have wished for better ! Yes the bathroom is a little small but it had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean as was the bedroom. Lovely dazzling white bedding. Will definitely use this hotel again when we come to London and will recommend it to friends and family. Thank you London House Hotel, especially the staff on reception. You were so welcoming and helpful
M. T.
Had a great stay here! Well located just around the corner from Hyde Park. The building seems to be a converted townhouse which brings a sense of iconic historical building. The view from the windows was georgeos (the room booked was called double garden view) and made our stay here that much better. The room itself was rather compact but very stylish and with everything I needed (hair dryer, kettle) and it was very comfortable. Also staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful which is always a welcome bonus
M. H.
Great Place to stay! Our room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The room was a little small compared to what we normally get, but we don't travel to stay in our room very much at all. We spend as much time as possible walking everywhere to meet people and try local favorites. London is a great city with an amazing history, and the people were extremely nice. Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood.
P.
This hotel is a great location. My wife and I stayed here for four nights. So close to the tube, metro and bus stop. Brought ourselves an Oyster travel card and we were set. Every type of food place within five minutes walking of this place, i mean every type! The hotel itself has small rooms, but for us as a couple were fine. The bathroom too is very small, but functional and very clean and tidy. Bed is a double, not a queen... We would stay here again, good value and so close to everything at really good value, especially for London! Reception and service by staff was great!

Lovely warm and comfortable stay for 3 nights in this hotel. Needed a nice place to stay to attend the National Television Awards at the 02 Arena and found it very easy to get there by tube on the underground from here. The location of the hotel was also great for catching the tube into Central London from two stations, Bayswater and Queensway. The cleaning staff were outstanding and the value for money was excellent. We would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again as soon as we can. Thank you again to everyone concerned.
A. W.
Very nice hotel that is chic and up-to-date. My only complaints: there are not enough places to store clothing, there is no counter in the bathroom, and the television is tiny. I like the room layout for 3 persons, the rooms are clean and nicely appointed, and it is near 2 tube stations, tons of restaurants and Kensington Palace.
w. A.
Everything is good and friendly stuff but not too much clean
J. N.
Our stay at this hotel was without any trouble. The room was clean and sufficiently spacious. The breakfast was ok, however we did not expect much from it either. I would recommend this hotel if you're not willing to completely break the bank.
M. G.
reat location, close to the metro stations and plenty or restaurants and supermarkets. The room was very small and near the lift which was a bit annoying. Blackout curtains were good, and the bed quiet comfortable. We booked a garden view room and had a nice view of the park across the road. I'd stay there again.

My wife and I stayed here during our honeymoon. We are from the US. The location was great. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and the underground was very close by. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were also usb plugs in the wall for us to charge our phones. We would definitely stay here again.
J. N.
This hotel is pretty nice inside and out. The room is slightly smaller than I expected. They only had twin beds available, so my wife and I had to sleep in separate beds which was ok. The staff was very nice and helpful with any questions we had.
t. t.
Amenities were very good staff polite and helpful.
Breakfast was good and plentiful.
The place was clean and well presented.
Although we did encounter the fire alarm and only 1 member of staff on evening duty saying she's no idea what's going on 🤔!!
No apologies made nor did we find out why it had gone off .
My oppinion is the other staff member had got caught out having a crafty ciggy 🤔🤣.
Very noisy with banging doors
And very loud guests .
All in all a nice hotel.

Such a great hotel! I stayed here during my holiday in London and I definently think that I’ll stay here during my next visit. The hotel rooms are very cosy, clean and they contain some cool gadgets such as a phone that tells you a lot about the city and gives you the opportunity to call abroad. It also had a fridge and very important aswell, airconditioning. Considering it was very hot during my stay, it was so fine that I had airconditioning. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is located in central London, in a very cosy neighbourhood. The only downside was that i found the breakfast a bit limited. There weren’t any hot dishes such as bacon or scrambled eggs. But for the rest I want to thank the staff for a wonderful stay!

I really loved London House Hotel. The rooms are very clean and they smell good. The lobby is bright modern and attractive. The location couldn't be better. Kensington is a beautiful section of London to stay. There are a couple of great pubs nearby to grab a drink and some good traditional English faire (The Kings Head and The Phoenix) plus you are a quick walk to Queensway which has a lot of shops and restaurants. The only complaint I have is the bed up against the wall was a little uncomfortable for two people, but the rooms, like all rooms in London are fairly small. I not only would stay here again, I hope to someday soon. London by the way, is awesome.
A. G.
This hotel was a bargain for the location. Staff were friendly and hospitable. Hotel was clean and tidy. However, there are extensive building works going on outside. Therefore, sleeping after 8am would prove impossible for even the most comatose of people. Breakfast was OK but decided to eat elsewhere after the first day due to lack of options
S.
My stay at the hotel was great! The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, but a little small. I could also hear our neighbors very frequently. Overall it was a great stay.
S. S.
Great value for money!
I stayed here for just one night in December 2018, the location was awesome. We were able to walk from the Bayswater Underground Station train station to the hotel very easily.Clean room, Comfy bed, breakfast was also very good.
Thank you to all the staff that made our break memorable.
L. S.
Lovely & clean polite staff. Room we had was very small with a tiny bathroom. Didnt bother us as it was just our bed for the night we were up & out early everyday. Biggest issue was one bed right by heater so through night you constantly burnt yourself then if you turned heater off room was very cold
P. L.
The hotel has small but clean rooms. However, the construction work next door starts at around 8 am and it will be impossible to sleep in. It seems like the construction work may last for multiple years. Breakfast is mediocre at best. However, the hotel is in a convenient location, with easy access to Queensway and Bayswater tube stations.
C. B.
Rather quirky little bedrooms - clean and comfortable bed.
C. E.
The location is pretty good. There is plenty of food and little stores for thing you might need around. The hotel itself is pretty nice. The room is a tad compact, but still nice. Same with the bathrooms. Breakfast is great too. The hotel is clean and comfy, the wait staff is very nice. I have 0 complaints except wishing there was a Jacuzzi lol.
C. G.
My partner and I had an excellent 5 nights stay at London House. It was quiet, clean and with all comforts you may expect in a boutique hotel. Breakfast was a good quick off our day and every member of staff we came across was very friendly and professional
It is highly recommended and we will definitely return to London House
N. N.
Well I am going to this hotel for the fourth time. Starting May 7th. Just love it here very friendly, super clean and the best part super central to anywhere you want to go. My favourite room is 304 small but has everything one needs. Close to two underground lines and the buses just down the road. Highly recommend. When you go the Main Street you can have your choice of restaurants, chemists and clothes stores. I found a gem when I first booked this hotel..😉
J. D.
The location of the hotel is very well situated with easy access to various amenities and a simple walk away or tube stop from major tourist sites. the room was clean and welcoming with all the necessities you would need. Overall I was very pleased with my visit and would recommend this hotel to other visitors.
S. K.
Very good location. Vibrant neighborhood. Nice staff. Room a bit tight for 2 people. Lacks sufficient drawer and counter space. Wish the curtains filtered light, not blackout. Budding mold problem in the bathroom grout.
J. B.
Accommodations are quaint but pleasant. The staff is courteous and professional. Nearby time locations and close proximity to Hide Park and definitely pluses. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. I brought 16 students here on a school trip from the states and all of them were very complimentary of the hotel, staff, breakfast, rooms, location, etc.
E. L.
Great location, clean modern interior and rooms provide all a sightseeing visitor could need. Breakfast available. Room is an efficient size, with the space you need for the few hours you're in it, yet not large enough to easily misplace any of the trinkets you've bought.
S. A. C. (. W. L.
Very nice little hotel, tucked away in Kensington Gardens. Very nice, modern and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Night-time noise from other guests or from the street below can be a bit problematic. Nice place to stay, close access to Queensway and Kensington/Hyde Park. Would definitely return there on a later visit.
B. A.
We ended up in a tiny little room with hardly any space. That being said, the staff was very nice and the bed quite comfortable. I'm sure there are other rooms that are bigger. If not for the inexplicably tiny room, I'd rate it 4 stars.
Fun note: our TV was a tiny wall-mounted flat screen right out of "The Office". If you aren't familiar, look up "Michael Scott TV" on YouTube.
R. H.
Good crash pad, staff lovely and extremely helpful. Bed was small double (what hotel still has those?) and like concrete. Not a great sleep for two people. Also, does not cater for gluten free customers at breakfast.
R. A.
Modern hotel, very clean but a bit frayed around the edges. Needs some attention to detail. Unable to fill the kettle, because it didn't fit under the tap. And lead not long enough to plug in.
Helpful staff, no waiting checking in or out. Very handy for Queensway and Whiteley's.
Quiet street, and peaceful rooms, but noise from corridor is loud, because of size of room.
E.
Room was a bit small, but very friendly and helpful staff, good location, clean and comfortable, and relatively low cost. Nice little breakfast included too. Great place to stay for someone visiting London who is going to be out and about for most of their stay.
D. T.
The hotel was great for what it was. Rooms were small but functional, and very clean. Modern and well appointed. The TV was a bit small, but there's a ton of channels which is nice on a night in. Location is excellent, near food and underground stations, as well as the park. Biggest complaint is definitely the Wi-Fi. Slow as all hell, barely usable. Luckily it's not a business trip we booked the hotel for, otherwise we'd never get work done here. I'd say it's a solid 3-4 star place for sure. If you're looking for an affordable hotel in a decent locale for a getaway, you can do anlot worse than here.
J.
In a very good location, situated near 3 train stations (Royal Oak, Bayswater, Queensway), quite easy to get to anywhere in London.
The room was very small however, I couldn't imagine sharing the room I had (1 double bed) with another person. Not much space to lay your luggage out or much bench space in the room. However I guess this is not much of an issue if you're out and about during the day. Bathroom was also quite small, but the room was well maintained. Towels were changed daily, but the spoons and glasses were not replaced in the duration of 5 days that I was there.
Walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbours walking around in their room and coming down the hallway. Was good to have a safe and minifridge in the room as well. Staff were polite and courteous, and helped carry my luggage outside after holding it in their luggage room after my checkout.
B. C.
Lovely area to stay. Hotel was very clean and tidy. Staff were welcoming. Room was serviced everyday to a high standard. Great value for money. Definitely will be staying again
J. J. (.
I had an excellent stay here. The rooms are standard hotel rooms and we're clean. Was not too impressed with the breakfast but there are plenty of places to eat around the hotel. Walking distance to many restaurants and a short walk to the tube station.
M. K.
Good sized triple room consisting of 1 double bed and 1 single. Bathroom quite small but sufficient. TV also very small but fine. We did not have breakfast, which was available for an extra fee.
S. V.
Small rooms but a friendly staff and conveniently located just a few minutes from two different tube lines. Could have had more storage or small space design (beds where we could put our luggage under, hooks for coats, small shelves in the bathroom) to help with the small rooms considering we were a family of 4 in their largest room which only had a very small wardrobe . We didn't do the breakfast since other reviews said it wasn't worth it. There are many breakfast and pastry stops available on the short trip to the tube station. The WiFi was OK, however, it wouldn't reach our room unless we stood by the door. We would sometimes sit in the lobby to have comfortable WiFi or give someone privacy while getting ready. We heard a guest complaining that she had to take stairs to get to her room (she had a disability which prevented her from climbing stairs and she stated she told them this when she reserved the room). There is a lift but apparently there are still stairs to get to some rooms. Lastly, the floors creak a bit the way an old house would. I heard another guest complain about her neighbors above (I hope it wasn't us). We tried to walk lightly but it's an old structure. Overall, we would stay there again.
J. T.
I stayed at the London House for three nights. I had a single room. The room was quite small but very efficient, cozy and extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable. The staff at the the hotel was super friendly and helpful.
V. F.
I am used to big spaces in the USA so I rate the hotel as 3 star, however this is London, the space is small, typical Europe style hotels. The staff are nice and friendly, the place is clean. Small beds, small bathroom. The building is beautiful! It was an interesting experience.
L. L.
Hello, I had a lovely stay at the hotel and the location is phenomenal! I wanted to especially share that I had a small mishap with some cosmetics whilst staying there and the staff went above and beyond to assist, then helped me recover what I needed to replace. Wonderful people, wonderful stay.
D. M.
Rooms are clean, but the service never washed our glasses or cups, it's advertised that the hotel has a shuttle to the airport but that is not accurate, they just can call a taxi for you that will charge you per person per suitcase ridiculous
C.
Very friendly. Clean and Nice rooms. More than enough space. Breakfast is simple, but enough choice and prepared well. They give you the oppertunity to storage your bagage and go sightseeing, so that's an asset.
J. C.
Great period property with contemporary interior. Rooms are on the small side, but the price and location make up for the size. There's a fridge and safe in the room too. Breakfast is extra (£7 in February 2017). Staff were also friendly and checkin was quick. Lots of places to eat nearby, and a few grocery stories. Only major issue were the paper-thin walls.
N. C.
i think this is our 5th stay, comfy and quiet except for yesterday evening, noisy people in the square gardens quite inconsiderate people for such priveleged inhabitants, class rarely follows cash
B. S.
We had the quad room which was quite spacious, good beds, etc. The downside to this room is it is right below reception, and the floor isn't very well insulated against noise so it's like having heavy walking upstairs neighbors. Don't plan on sleeping in and you won't have a problem since the noise dies down early, but kicks up again around 7-8am.
R. B.
My family stayed here for 3 nights at the end of July. The rooms were very clean and in a good location (it is in walking to the Kensington Gardens and close to the underground). However, my family stayed within the family rooms (holds 4 people) and even though they were designated as the "quiet" rooms it was extremely noisy. We constantly woke up every morning around 5am from the staff talking loudly and banging around outside of our door. After we notified the front desk of the noise, it seemed to worsen. I would only recommend staying here if you get a room that is nowhere near ground level.
A. B.
Nice hotel, but my room was ultra tiny. Smallest I've ever stayed in and I've been to London before. Bed wasnt that comfortable for the price £78/night. It is appealing looming just ultra small. They do offer nice value of a Handy cellphone to take with you. So you can use internet and make calls.and such for free. This was definitely a great amenity offered that others do not. I didnt give it 5 stars because of the size of my room. The location is great for Bayswater, short walk to the Bayswater tube, plenty of fast food and shops, as well as a casino (grosvenor golden horseshoe). It was convenient, just don't pick tiny small single, unless you are small. I'm a very big guy.
R. G.
Hotel is lovely. Beds are a little small.staff is very nice and helpful. You can buy tickets for bus tours and other things from the desk. Close to many restaurants, stores and even a mall with a bowling alley. You can also get breakfast in the mornings for 7 pounds a person.
D. W.
My wife and I spent 7 nights in London last week at The London House Hotel. We have no complaints. Lovely hotel, responsive staff, great neighborhood location, a block away from grocery store and restaurants. Very clean room and bathroom. Did not eat breakfast there, but it looked very nice. Small but we expected that. Short 2 min walk to Underground (London's Subway). You can be in the city center within 15mins. We recommend The London House Hotel and will stay there again.
A. S.
Family room was very clean, as was the bathroom. Beds were very comfortable also. WiFi didn't work at one point but was rapidly fixed once brought to the attention of staff. Overall a very pleasant visit!
T. B.
The location is fairly quiet. The Room is clean. The personnel was friendly. The breakfast could have a bit more variety, though. But it was fully optional. Would come again.
R. M.
Simply Elegant, Awesome Ambience & amazing Front Desk Staff (especially Kristina FD Group Guest Manager) and Hospitality Staff.
They are extremely nice and accommodating. I will be back!!!
Thanks for an amazing stay!!
You really impressed this NYC Boy!!

Stayed 8 days. July 2017.
Location 4.5/5 - Hyde Park, supermarkets are close by, many coffee shops, two different tube lines.
Rooms 2/5 - very tiny, bathroom is so small and the sink is so tiny and the shelf prevents you from being able to wash your face. But there is a safe and fridge.
Reception 3/5 - sometimes they were plain mean and at times slow. Somethimes OK. We requested separate beds but they did not help.
Elevator 2/5 - slow and will slam your shoulder if you stall.
Cleanliness - 4/5
T. D.
Good value for money. We just needed a place to sleep at night and close to tube and so this was a great location.
Lots of restaurants, cafes, fast food joints, and basic grocery stores nearby.
It's close to 2 train stations - Queensway and Bayswater
The staff are friendly and helpful. They greet you every time they see you which is nice.
A. C.
Base on location this hotel is central, the tube is down the street and just a few blocks from the Portobello market. Be aware of the size of the rooms which are not as large as hotel in the US. The reason I gave this hotel a 5 star is, in every room you get a cell phone, that allows you to navigate your way around the city. You can download whatapp that allows you to still stay in contact with whomever. You will enter the day you check-in and out and on the day you check out it wipe the phone clean. For a tourist this made my vacation adventurous, ability to go anywhere.
O. E. T.
A lovely hotel, especially by London standards. We had read about noisy ground/basement rooms beforehand, and requested a room high up in the building. We were not disappointed in our 4th floor room, with it's great view of the square. The rooms are clean and the mattress good. If anything the bed "for two" is tiny, but then I find this to be the case in most London hotels. Nordic giants like me and my boyfriend should probably forego the romance and go for two single beds, that's what we'll do next time! We ended up asking for an extra duvet, and it was brought to us quickly at four in the morning by the friendly night staff. Our room's kettle had a chord so short we had to make tea on the floor, and what I really missed was some coat hooks by the door. But other than those small minuses it's perfection, situated in a quiet square a stonethrow from a very lively area, and with several underground lines just around the corner. The standard is only rivaled by when I stayed at the Waldorf Hilton, and this for half the price! This will be our go-to hotel in the future.
A. S.
Super friendly, helpful staff and good price! Would stay again.
D. C.
The room is very cheap and therefor it is quite small but has just enough comfort for you to relax after a long day exploring London. Very easy acces to the Bayswater Underground station which is on the Circle line and District line, so it is very easy to get around in London. It is a nice and quiet neighborhood with a very short walk to nice restaurants and souvenir shopping. The staff is very friendly and service minded, so we will definately come back.
T. L.
Stayed from May 17 through May 21st. London House hotel was the perfect place to stay while visiting London! The rooms were clean and roomy. The reception area was beautiful. Located close to the tube, shopping and restaurants , everything we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend London House Hotel!
E. W.
Fantastic Kensington hotel. Clean & modern, friendly staff and fabulous location for Royal Parks, tube stations, shops and an array of restaurants. Will be back!
E. L.
I stay here everytime I visit London. It's located within a 5mins walk from the famous roast duck row of restaurants, and close to two underground lines.
The security guy, Martin is especially friendly and helpful, in contrast to the front desk manager, Magdelene. They also have some new and unusual regulations regarding keeping luggages for you, which was inconsistent and unhelpful; some staff said it was possible, while others said no.
K. D.
Good location, clean, calm place

Stayed here for 5 nights in the family room. It's an alright place to live. Rooms are slighlt small. Good location for sightseeing in london. Short 10-15 minute walk to hyde park. Close to bayswater station.
Hotel has 24 hour reception, but staff can be slightly unapproachable and standoffish. There is free Wifi, though the signal strength is really bad. To the point where, most of the room had no signal at all.

Central and close to subways and places to eat and drink. Small rooms, but it doesn't matter. You're not there to spend time in the rooms anyway. Breakfast available for 7 pounds at the time of visit. Fridge in the room to keep your own drinks cold.

Really nice staff: friendly and efficient; convenient location. Overall, a very pleasant atmosphere, clean. Some people may find the rooms be a small.

Great price, clean and modern hotel. Room I had was a little small but for sleeping do you need bigger? Modern hot shower with toiletries provided. Recommended.

Nice appearance upon entering the lobby of the hotel. The actual rooms are very very small... and the bathroom is nearly impossible to love around in. Clean, we'll taken care of... but seriously tiny.

Good location, small but very comfortable and clean rooms. Quiet and friendly neighborhood. Bus 23 is just around the corner and takes you straight to Oxford St.

A hotel for those travelling on a bit of a budget. For the price, the rooms were clean, though small, and the staff was very accommodating. The location can't be beat and the convenience was a real asset on my stay in London.

The London House hotel is very up to date with well furnished rooms and plenty of amenities. My only complaint is that the WiFi available in the hotel can be spotty with slow speeds. For the price and location it's a great find, close to transit and other points of interest.

We've been there twice and would stay there again. Very good prices for a hotel in Kensington (an excellent place filled with gastronomic options). Near two different tube lines, right around Whiteleys, great staff. The best choice.

I have stayed here in several occasions and like it very much. Easy to walk to some major attractions. Several tube stops really close by. Safe with quitevva choice for eating out.

Cozy hotel very well located. Staff is polite and rooms are tiny but well maintained and clean. Breakfast was ok.

Many North Americans might rate this lower because the rooms are small, but as far as I can tell that's common in London where many buildings are old and land is pricey. It was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast (for an extra L 7.50) was OK. Free reliable wifi.
For us it was important that it was a block and a half from the Bayswater underground station, with plenty of stores and restaurants along the route, and only a long block further from the Queensway station and Kensington Gardens.

After all the dreadful reviews, I thought as we had a good experience, I’d put a balanced review. We were in a newly refurbished room on the 2nd floor which was clean & smart with a comfy bed.

Great location and well appointed rooms, if somewhat small, as usual in most European rooms. Love neighborhood with choices for dinning and vacinity to the underground.

Was really surprised about the value for money and super helpful and friendly staff. Nice clean, modern no frills kind of place. Close to transport, restaurants and bars. Will stay here again for sure.

Good location with good rooms
From here is was easy to get arround London. Bayswater Tube was a 5-10 minute walk. Lots of cafe's restuarants all within walking distance.

Stayed here with my fiancée on New Years Eve, lovely cosy rooms, friendly staff and the room was very clean! Unfortunately we didn’t make it down to breakfast because the bed was so comfy that we didn’t want to get up...

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful area. Lovely breakfast for just £7. Staff so helpful. Room was beautiful. Highly recommend 👌👌

Very nice and clean hotel staff is very friendly and hotel has very good location little bit further away from all tourist attractions but very near to hyde park and under 5 minutes walk to Bayswater and Queensway underground stations you will get to centre of london in 15 minutes with underground

Nice and clean. I was pretty satisfied with it.
One thing I had a trouble was that it was kind of difficult to manage heating. It's really cold without a heater, but it's really hot with heater. I might have used it better.

Really small rooms but it was fun. Price was great and location was perfect and quiet. Lots of pubs and underground stations nearby
