We stayed here recently during the Chelsea flower show. An executive room with king size bed. From start to finish the service was excellent. Room very comfortable, modern and clean. Had a lovely evening meal and the breakfast was excellent. All staff were very attentive and extremely helpful. Some of the best service I have ever had in a hotel. Would most definitely recommend.

Wonderful hotel. We had the 2 king bed suite and it was very spacious and clean. Who has even heard of a hotel room with 2 king beds?? It was so nice. We didn't spend much time in the room, but the extra space was great while we were there. The staff was also very helpful in getting us into the room early. We arrived on a red-eye flight from the USA, and were extremely tired upon arrival. We had a nice breakfast while we waited for the room to be ready, and then took a much needed nap! A woman who I believe was the front office manager was very helpful in communicating to us when the room would be ready. We took the day 2 COVID test, which we needed to mail back, and the front desk had our package ready for us upon arrival and directed us to a mailbox to get it sent back. The restaurant staff, especially the gentleman that made the omelets, was extremely nice as well. I didn't really utilize the lounge access in the evening, but it seemed like a nice space. Wish we had more time in London! The next time I'm lucky enough to be in London I would love to stay here again.

Well located Marriott within east reach of the main London sights. Large room providing 2 double beds, plus lounge area with sofa, etc. M lounge also available. Staff very friendly and helpful.
J.
Good location, small but well appointed rooms, decent breakfast.
My advice is to avoid the interconnecting rooms unless you specifically want one …
R.
Had a wonderful stay at this property. Staff courteous and professional. Rooms clean and tidy. Great location in Kensington.
Just one minor negative; no premier league football games on tv over a weekend …
C.
I have been staying at this location for over 10 years and I'm never disappointed. The location is perfect with multiple tube stops nearby and so many attractions within walking distance. I love that you are in the city, but also feel like …

Great hotel. Rooms are lovely, bed was so comfortable and breakfast has a fantastic selection. I would definitely stay again. We found Earl's Court the better station to use.
C.
Very comfortable room, deluxe double with two King beds. The beds were rather firm for us, but did have a pillow topper. Large room with ample seating. Bar was pleasant and communal areas were very newly refurbished and looked in excellent …

Great location but small rooms and there are no microwaves. The mini fridges don’t get colder than cool and parking is tough.
I.
Marriott Kensington's staff are top notch! Executive room was impressive, although did not get chance to go to lounge for services except for coffees/teas. Room was comfortable, luxurious, & very clean. Location was great, too, very close to Gloucester tube, buses, Waitrose & restaurants.
A.
We were lucky enough to experience a junior suite with executive lounge access. The whole stay was amazing. The fantastic room layout, amenities and beautiful decor to the amazing staff and offering of the executive lounge which was hosted in the main restaurant. We cannot wait to visit again soon.
L.
Great service from the restaurant staff, they are very service oriented and pro/active. Though not the same can be said for the housekeeping.
Housekeeping have to be kept consistent when it comes to replenishing items.
Well equipped gym and the executive lounge should be open by now.
Great location!

A weekend to catch up with close friends who we had not seen physically for over 18 months was made even more enjoyable by the Hotel staff who went out of their way to ensure our stay was special. The food and accommodation were both outstanding. We look forward to staying here in the future.

We stayed in an Executive Room with King Size bed. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The room had everything you need, including a fridge. As we were travelling with baby it was handy to have a fridge. The room was modern and you can tell it had been newly refurbished which I like. It did not feel dirty or old. There was no bath, but I can forego that for a single night stay and most people don't bath these days anyway! The hotel was fine, clean, modern. We had access to the executive lounge which had free unlimited soft drinks and hot drinks which was a very nice touch. There was also finger food served in the evening which was tasty. Best to get there early as there wasnt much left by the time we got to it. The parking is limited only 10 spaces or so, when we arrived there was no parking spaces so don't bank on parking in the car park, you will need a plan B. We parked in an Ibis down the road for half the price using a popular parking app. There is no pool at this hotel, but there is a gym that guests can use. We did not use the gym so cannot comment on the facilities.
The only issue I would mention is a lack of elevators! For the size of the hotel I would have expected a few more, we had to wait quite a while in the morning when checking out to get a lift as a queue had formed on our floor. The two lifts are very small which doesn't help the situation. Breakfast was very nice, the usual spread of hot and cold breakfast items and kitchen staff were offering different variations of eggs. My husband had an omelette which he enjoyed, although he did comment that the peppers were slightly undercooked. It looked good to me! Breakfast staff were all lovely and attentive. Norbert on reception was an absolute delight, he was informative and friendly and assisted us so much throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble and he was smiling everytime I saw him. He is an exceptional worker and I was so impressed by his service, a real credit to the Marriot. All staff were friendly and very nice, it seems like a very nice place for the staff which is nice to see. We also stayed at a 5* hotel (The Ned) on our trip and some of the staff there were miserable and seemed overworked, which effected their attitude to guess. The service at the Marriot was alot better and the staff seem alot happier and it shows in the service. I'd be happy to stay here again!

I can't say enough about the staff at this hotel. They literally went out of their way to make my current (and future) stay comfortable. Helped with amenities, find a lost item and just really outgoing. I strongly recommend this Marriott.
L.
Was pretty good. Nice location. Clean room. Breakfast was ok. Staff was helpful. Was it worth the price? I dunno - is any hotel in London? But it wasn’t a bad deal when compared to similar hotels.
J. B.
Lovely hotel with very nice staff. Only used as a day stay while working nights but would definitely go back
S. P.
Very nice hotel, clean, comfortable, good facilities, very friendly and helpful staff. A little on the pricey side but then you get what you pay for.

We arrived to the sound of fire alarm as hotel putting staff through the fire drill. Having waited it was well worth the visit. Steak ciabbata with glass red wine 🍷 outstanding. Well looked after. My son a wheelchair user was well looked after. Thanks 😊

The staff helped me get a bigger room for my family. They always responded quickly and well with any call or request. Location is great and everything is clean and updated. I stay there on every visit.

Exceptional service! Location is really amazing too. The staff are super attentive, very friendly. We loved our time at the hotel, got an upgrade. Breakfast was very good too, plenty of options for GF & Dairy Free. Breakfast team was very accommodating and special thanks to all the receptionist ladies. They were amazing! Piroske thank you so much for accommodating my special allergies needs. Tibor awesome chef! Tamas super friendly and professional. Kate always welcoming! Thank you everyone to make our stay so good. We will for sure be back.
PS: They have awesome appetizers and drinks after 5:30 pm for Marriott members (we’re Titanium Elite, almost Ambassador:) Check to make sure happy hour applies to your status. We ate out a lot but first day when we arrived we really enjoyed their appetizers for dinner. Rooms are a bit smaller than we are used to but we got upgraded and that worked out very well for the two of us.
S.
Good hotel. Room of good size and recently refurbished. Large walk in shower. Good location, near to tube station. Although on busy road room was very quiet. All staff polite and helpful. Enjoyed being able to eat and drink in Cast Iron bar as part of executive room deal due to executive lounge being out of use due to COVID restrictions.
M.
A great hotel, where everyone made us feel extremely comfortable. The room facilities were fantastic, and the location was ideal (20 mins walk from Harrods). Highly recommended, and a hotel I will be staying again.
J.
I stayed here whilst my wife and son were over at the Cromwell hospital. It was just over the road so perfect if staying for that reason. The hotel itself was fantastic- the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in and hands down the best service …

Very pleasant stay…. Hassan on the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay brilliant! Thank you!
M.
The welcome at Reception was superb, Joanne remembered it was my son’s birthday and a lovely cake and handwritten card was also delivered to our room. The room was spacious, beautifully designed and everything you could want had been thought of. We will definitely be back.
G.
Nice location, good rooms although the service let us down a little, when we asked for items that should have been in the room, but weren’t, and they said they would deliver them. They didn’t.
C. B.
Clean hotel with lovely staff. However the bed was really hard and I found it uncomfortable. Decent location though for South Kensington
S. L.
Enjoyed our stay, big room to fit all the family in.

Great facilities, gym is amazing, rooms are super clean and the overall condition of the hotel is excellent.
Estefania at reception is one of the best and efficient receptionist I have ever seen!

First time in Marriott Kensington and we were blown away with everything. No faults. Service superb! Staff a credit to Marriott. Location is terrific walking distance to all major attractions & a plus for us was using the over ground …

Shower was not working with a notice stating maintenance staff was on the job. I expected that should have been completed before giving us the room. However, hand held Shower in the bath tub was working. Excellent helpful staff. Comfy beds

Very nice hotel. Clean, staff was attentive. The restaurant food was delicious!
J.
The staff in Reception at my arrival were excellent. All staff, apart from a slightly grumpy chef at breakfast, were very professional and polite. Room was great but let’s remember, this is an expensive hotel.
T.
We felt very safe and the covid measures in place were excellent. The service we received was exceptional. We were very pleasantly surprised that the Executive Lounge offerings were still provided. The service we received from Thomas and Tomas was exceptional .

The family suite was ideal for kids it was spacious and comfortable with nice decor also the staff at reception where very pleasant and helpful there was an issue with the fridge in the room but was dealt with the following day another room was offered due to this but declined by myself as we had already unpacked.

Our stay, despite being in quarantine the first of two weeks was wonderful. The staff genuinely cared about our comfort and needs throughout the entire 14 days. We could not have asked for better service!
G.
We like this hotel. Staff are excellent and the room was a decent size. But very poor parking facilities.

This is a mediocre hotel a best, though the staff does their best. I stay there because it's one redeeming feature is a good location. The room was too small; the king bed takes up almost whole room. Staying 10 days was tight, especially …
V. G.
Great hotel overall. This is a typical Marriott. Staff was courteous. We had to wait to exactly 3pm for our room. Although this is the standard check in time, we were hoping to get in earlier since we arrived at 09:30 in the morning. Bed were comfortable, wifi working well. Super clean. We did not use the restaurant, lounge or bar.
C.
We'll definitely come back again!!! My children enjoyed the place very much. Location, facilities, food and service.

Overnight stay in London after an exhausting 2 week trip round Europe, this was just what we needed. Professional and friendly service, spotless room with a very comfortable bed. Nice bar area despite ongoing renovation. Excellent breakfast.
R.
The staff at the Marriott Kensington was so kind and helpful at all hours of the day/night. Restaurant was under construction at the time but they offered many options and lounge services. Hotel was in a perfect location, easy to access public transportation and walkable to so many attractions.
R. M.
Great hotel with impeccable service. Our room was a suite with plenty of room and a shower with body sprays and a great tub. 2 king beds which is in heard of. Staff was incredibly helpful. Free coffee in the morning and a happy hour that lasts 4 hours with free beer, wine and food.
E.
Location is excellent, service is attentive and pleasant; rooms are small, but clean and comfortable; shower was excellent, above average, in fact. I only ate one meal in the restaurant, which was mediocre, unfortunately. Breakfast was …
S. M.
While standard queen rooms are small they have been recently remodeled and we'll thought thru.If you get a room facing the back of the hotel it's very quiet for a hotel on Cromwell road. Staff is very attentive including going out of their way mid conversation with another staff member to open a door for a guest. I saw this and had it happen to me several times. The Cast Iron Grill was under remodel so the hotel restaurant and bar is currently in a converted conference room which is a bit gloomy but clearly they are days away from reopening a nice shiny new restaurant.
C.
Great hotel at a great location in Kensington. Easy access to 2 tube stations, plenty of food options nearby, museums and attractions in an easy walk. Excellent service and hospitality, rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was very accommodating. Highly recommend
B. C.
This hotel shouldn’t be considered a Marriott property as it’s tarnishing it’s reputation by having it so. Lots of construction happening. Housekeeping knocking on doors at 8:30am and crashing around much earlier than that throughout the hallways. Rooms were in better condition than I had assumed, however, door to bathroom has to close so it gets very hot in there after taking a shower and lighting is terrible. I’d recommend any other hotel besides this one.
A.
Newly decorated and stylish hotel with warm and professional staff. Thanks for the upgrade, even though that’s still a bit compact. The room itself is in minimalist style and the black and white matches perfectly well. …
O.
The staff were so warm and welcoming. They made my stay memorable.
C.
I had a great experience and Clarisa and the team were so helpful and I really was able to enjoy my trip!
B. L.
The room was good, really good meeting and conference rooms. Staff were very nice however the breakfast let me down. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and for the two mornings I was there, the hash browns, tomatoes and baked beans were all rather cold (baked beans were warm but not warm enough to not freeze by the time you’re at your table). The hash browns could have spent another 5 mins in the fryer, as they were all still very cold in the middle. I left feedback on my table card but not sure if it made its way to the kitchen. It’s hard enough to find good vegan food but breakfast is the minimum requirement that I expect. I hope they improve since Marriott is rather pricey.
A.
Very nice Executive Lounge breakfast; Marcello gave great friendly service every day. Lunch buffets at The Atrium were excellent. Snacks during meeting breaks were very good. Staff were friendly throughout hotel. Concierges were helpful …
T.
Not as good as some Marriotts but great London location in Kensington and comfortable room; good value. Excellent bar with great bartender (Francesca). Executive Lounge offers daily continental + breakfast …
J.
Staff makes or breaks a vacation trip, especially in the hotel. The Kensington Staff, especially the Concierge Desk were the best. Their recommendations and ability to provide tickets in advance makes ones stay easier to navigate. …
R. B.
We traveled to London for the Christmas holiday and chose the Marriott Kensington based on proximity to Underground stations and the city centre. We also found that the closer to city centre we searched the more expensive it was for not necessary any better accommodations. The Marriott Kensington is a great value when location and commuter convenience is a factor.
So the bottom line up front is that every interaction we had with the staff of the hotel was excellent. They never failed to on any question we had or any request we had. I'm a fairly detailed oriented person, just ask my wife, so I pay attention to what people say and what people do. We had booked a Superior room for our 8 night stay some months in advance using points and cash. I called prior to departing to reconfirm our reservations and to request a Christmas be put in our room for the duration of our stay. We have a ten year old son and we still planned on celebrating Christmas with him on the day.
They said no problem in putting a tree in the room, they had never done it before but said it shouldn't be problem. I inquired about a possible upgrade to a Junior Suite if one was available and the manager I spoke with recommended the Kensington Suite since a Junior Suite was available. The price he gave was within our budget since we were using points as well as cash. We were very glad we upgraded! The Kensington Suite was perfect for us! Our son basically had his own room with a bed, couch, fireplace, bathroom, TV, refrigerator AND a Christmas Tree of course!! The room was very comfortable for us.
We had to move for one night in the middle of our stay to accommodate
a prior reservation in the room. They put us in a Superior room and it was excellent as well. I had been nervous about room size since everything I heard about rooms in London was that they were small. Even in the Superior room we would've been comfortable had we initially decided to stay with it. It is an excellent spacious room. We went to Paris for the day that we had to move rooms and the hotel moved all our luggage and even our Christmas tree to the new room for us. We came back, stayed the night, and they moved all of our things back to the Kensington Suite the next day while we went site seeing.
Additionally, every time I went to the desk to reconfirm our arrangements, the moving, the price, etc.. everything was the same, no matter who I talked to they were all on the same page. It was very refreshing and felt like everyone was personally. interested in making sure we were taken care of. I can't say enough about how helpful and gracious everyone in the staff responded to our needs.
The breakfast Buffet was very good. The amenities in the executive lounge were exceptional. When we had food in the bar area it was excellent.
As noted before we thought the location of the location was excellent for us too. All in all, I doubt we could've chosen a better place to stay and celebrate Christmas than the Marriott Kensington.
D.
Everything expected in a Marriott property.
Spacious room especially for central London. Nespresso in room very appreciated. Location is great - 2 blocks from tube and lots of nearby restaurants. The hotel itself is not a local life tourist experience, but the area is a good mix of tourists and locals. It was a welcome respite from my previous hop in an authentic renovated but typically cramped central Paris hotel.
C.
This is the third time I have stayed in this hotel and as always, it's excellent. Close to everything in London and the food is exceptional. The staff is approachable and helpful in every way possible. My only recommendation is an upgrade to the rooms, the amenities inside the room are a bit dated.
d.
The location is fantastic. We had a quiet but small room and appreciated the fridge.
Parking was hard to drive into and there was no covered walkway to the hotel, …
M. C.
Great location. Bad WiFi, small rooms with small, short opening in the wall that was supposed to be a closet. Lobby chairs looked old and dirty so definitely NOT a four star hotel. Housekeeping was average at best.
U. D.
Great services, great breakfasts and convenient location.
I’ve stayed here many times and last time I stayed the rooms are being updated so there was a lot of construction work.
The rooms are clean and ok. Tired looking, but the new rooms look like they will be great.
The lounge is great for anyone who had Marriott Status.
It’s a great location for Knightsbridge and Sloane Square. Fantastic for shopping.
J.
We stayed at renovated room, it was ok, found some pull under the bed, counting we have a small child, might have been dangerous, so cleaning is not very thorough. Staff just does the minimum job required. The lounge was very crowded, basic breakfast, always running out of items. Location ok, around 20-25 mins till Kensington gardens. Very expensive parking, but at least they have one. Next time in London, will try some other hotel.
P. L.
Really good hotel. Expensive to stay but it is London

I traveled with my family to visit London for 2 nights as part of our 8 day long UK trip. The service was excellent, the concierge was very helpful arranging the hop on bus as well as making recommendations for tours - even for the next …
B.
A very good location in the middle of Kensington. Helpful staff in front desk. Some rooms are under renovation but I didn't check the renovated rooms. My room was comfortable and spacious but a bit old. If you are speaking about a category 5 hotel in the heart of London, the hotel just meets expectations and doesn't exceed it.
N. S.
Less then expected.
The executive lounge was closed and the area in the restaurant that was offered instead did not offer what I am used to from my several stays with other Marriott Hotels.
Hotel Room was nice and the bathroom was very comfortable but cold.

Enjoyed a brief stay at the London Marriott in Kensington - always appreciate the friendly service of Marriott staff, a clean guest room and a comfortable bed. I really enjoyed the ample and delicious breakfast at the hotel restaurant as well as refreshments in the executive lounge. Hope to return soon.

I like Marriott hotels and prefer to stay in them. This hotel was fine for my needs. It was in the right location, I could walk where I needed to go or the tube was just down the road. The staff were friendly and the hotel clean. The only …

This particular Marriott hotel is great for visitors of London who want to get out and see things. The underground is close by which is an easy way to travel around. The hotel itself looks and feels new, and my wife and I thought our room …

Stayed on the 7th floor, rooms are newly updated. Staff was friendly. Executive lounge is small and cozy. It is quiet however our room was directly across from the elevator so you could hear the door close every time someone accessed the elevator (there are emergency doors that enclose the elevator area.) Beds and sheets are what you would expect from Marriott (you never know at an AirBnb)
Ceilings are low, probably 7’, two queens, and it was still spacious.
County Hall Marriott has character though.
FYI Hotel is right beside the house Alfred Hitchcock once lived in.
S. B.
Room was modern and clean, great staff. Breakfast is simple but perfect, not over the top but all you could want. Only issue was the thin walls, can hear the tv on both sides aswell as someones almost clear skype conversation for 2 hours. I guess they could have just been loud neighbours...
