Stayed at Lord Jim Hotel for a week on my solo trip to London. The staff was lovely and the hotel exeeded my expectations for the price. The underground is just around the corner, would stay again!

Good location, but despite the fact we checked in late, the bin was still full and the bathroom still had dirty towels in it, which were then picked up after we entered. Both room and bathroom were ridiculously tiny, toilet space barely big enough for itself. Beds were pretty hard but OK. One window had a floodlight shining into it but the curtain did a good job blocking it. The area is somewhat quiet, within easy reach of the station. TV was decent. Very happy with the amount of plug sockets. Overall, passable especially for the price, but wouldn't recommend unless you were desperate.

Confusion over access after 7pm- in covid times but other than was a good stay. Receptionist very helpful. Warm and cozy. Small but realistic for a very reasonable price. Lovely towels. Tea and coffee provided but could've also done with some milk powder.

Stopped here after a long flight from Melbourne to London Heathrow, decided to stay overnight in London before returning to Ireland. We arrived before 9am to the hotel but they were kind enough to keep our bags at the reception. The room was clean but of course really small, as to be expected for a cheap price in London. Only thing negative which comes to mind is during breakfast, the employees were talking really loudly and disturbed a peaceful breakfast. The woman working at breakfast was also really slow at clearing dirty bowls and plates which were piling up on our table. Would definitely recommend this place as a budget hotel, also excellently located 2 mins walk from Earls Court station.

About a two minute walk from Earl's Court station. Was greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist. Upon entering the room, it was decently clean, though the decor could be updated. Every thing worked well except for the shower drain which was extremely slow draining the water. Checking out the next day was painless. They allowed us to leave our luggage at the reception's office while we checked out the town before our next flight which was a few hours later.

Location is fantastic and the price was reasonable. Just off the main road in Earls Court with the Tube station just around the corner. Easy trip into downtown without the crowds. Several nice pubs, two small grocery stores, and a laundromat also nearby. Room was quite adequate, but the mattresses were pretty uncomfortable. Renovated bathroom was very nice and clean. Front desk staff were helpful in giving directions and calling a taxi. Lots of similar types of lodging on Penywern Road, Lord Jim seemed to be middle-grade quality. If the mattresses were replaced we would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable bed, nice warm shower but drainage problem and an annoying curtain that tries to hug your body whilst showering. Lovely big bath towels provided but no hand towels. No air con but windows that open however there was a lot of noise from cats. No hairdryer in room, I expect you need to ask. Similarly ironing board. Very clean and was not too noisy. Can complain for a one night stay. Rooms are on the small side but we're very warm. Location is great, a minute away from Earl's Court station. The only issue we had was being blocked from the Wifi for file-sharing even though we didn't do any! Wasn't an issue as there are ways around it, but still! All in all, great place for a night or two as long as you can deal with a small room!

I stayed here during a week-long vacation to London and I was pleased with all. I got in 7 hours before check-in, and found my room was ready which was a huge relief! I got the single room with a private bath. Yes, the room was small but who spends a bunch of time in a hotel room in London?. The room was made everyday very nicely. I didn’t try the tea in the room because there were plenty of coffee and bread shops within 2 blocks of this hotel. Also, being right next to the Piccadilly Line made getting anywhere in the city super easy all week. I will definitely recommend this place and I’ll be coming back to stay.

It extremely depends on the room you're given. Hotel as a whole would barely pass as 2 stars anywhere else but in London. However, the stuff is super atentive. We were first put in a room 106 which is extremely small and in such a bad shape, only to be moved to 209 from the second night on. Looking at the emergency exit, I believe room x09, and x10 are the largest ones. Rooms x05 - x08 (if I remember correctly) I wouldn't recommend. I'm not sure if it's up to the floor as well. If you're tight on budget and there is nothing else, you'll survive as long as you're in a good room.

Great location! Only a minute long walk to Earl's Court. + Friendly staff. + Good rooms for the price. A little tired looking and a bit small, but has all the essentials. + Rooms are serviced daily. + Free Wi-Fi - Because it's so close to the tube station/a busy street it can be quite noisy at night. - Walls are a little thin. You can hear the other guests quite audibly. All-in-all you get your money's worth. If I'm in the area again, I'd be happy to book at Lord Jim's.

We stopped at the family room on the third floor. The room was small but cozy with two twin beds and one double bed. The breakfast was delicious. The washroom was inside the room. Very close to the subway station Earl's Court.

The neighborhood was very nice and convenient to the train. The outside is attractive. The rooms were super small and the bathrooms are so small you can not even turn around in. The rooms had a very old and wet smell.

Stayed one night on 19th September 2018, have to leave very early the next day so cannot enjoy the breakfast. The receptionist Pascal was very nice, preparing delicious sandwiches, yogurt and fruit for me to take away, appreciate it. Another staff Mika is also nice.

Das Bad war auch so eng, dass man sich nicht bewegen konnte. Es roch muffig und unser Vorhang war fleckig. Nach der ersten Reinigung war auch das Duschtuch verschwunden. Für ein Paar war das Zimmer gerade noch akzeptabel, für Freunde nicht praktikabel. Das Mobiliar war abgewohnt, es gab keinen Föhn.!Zum Frühstück kann ich nichts sagen, da wir dieses nicht mitgebucht hatten. Fazit: Lieber ein bisschen mehr Geld ausgeben!

Bad klein , für dicke Personen zu eng, leider läuft die Lüftung nur wenn das Licht an ist, ungünstig für die Feuchtigkeit, es riecht unangenehm. Frühstück ausreichend es gab Kaffee, Tee, Cappuccino. Schokolade, drei Sorten Tostbrot, Bagett leider nicht knusprig und kleine Croissants, frisches Obst, Eier, Schinken Käse in drei Varianten, Dosen Obst, Berren eingedünstet oder aufgetaut, Gurke, Tomate, Paprika. Apfel und Orangensaft, Wasser, Joghurt und Kellogs. Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage unseres Zimmers hat uns nicht gestört, nähe zum Frühstücksraum und Straßenseite da wir den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren und spät am Abend so müde als wir im Hotel angekommen sind.
