Small room and very small bathroom but clean and had hot water so it was good for the price of 59 pounds for two people

Good basic hotel. Rooms are clean and basic, proprietor is lovely and friendly. Nothing fancy but very good for the price. Fantastic location, very good window curtains to keep out the light. A bit of noise from the street but quieter than expected for the location.

Location close to Paddington and Hyde Park is perfect. The staff was also very kind. The room had an OK size, but the bed was a 1,40 and not a double bed. The windows were paper-thin and we could also hear our neighbour's every move. The room was clean enough and the bathroom was very small. I'd say in comparison to general London standard, this place is good value for money if you are staying a few days.

Good location close to tube station, park, and plenty of bars and restaurants. Very dated room and bed. Floors creak with every step and walls are very thin, so I didn't get much sleep due to noise from the neighbors and the guests walking around upstairs at 5am. If you're a heavy sleeper you'll probably do fine here, but if you're a light sleeper I would not recommend staying here.

Budget is definitely the word for this hotel. Room cost around £60 and pretty much got what we paid for. The room was small but the beds were pretty comfy. The toilet/shower room was tight and not much room to manover. It also flooded everytime we showered. Located close to the tube station and a short walk from cheap parking and local tourist attractions All in all, its good for a one or two night stay and would stay again

Best Deal one could find. The rooms were small but clean,service was excellent. Staff could not have been better. It is a basic Hotel, but if that's what you're looking for then, it's perfect. It's close to Paddington Station which is a bonus. Being a small business they work even harder to obtain customer satisfaction. No wonder they won some customer satisfaction awards during the past few years. Would definitely be considering I had to go London again.

It´s a 2 Star Hotel, so if you like to have a minibar, a concierge or any other modern 4-5 Star things-you´re wrong here. But if you are going on a short city trip- then this is the place to stay for you! The rooms are small but clean, so are the beds- and the sheets were changed every day! The breakfast is english, and the breakfast room is very nice. The Hotel has a 24 hr reception, you give your key when you leave and just ring the bell if you want back in. Sussex Gardens is only around the corner to paddington station, there are restaurants amass and little shops, just perfect. I´d recommend it!

This is very much a budget hotel. The location is fantastic, the staff were very polite. However my room was accessed by what felt like a fire escape, rather than being contained in the hotel like the rest of the rooms. There was also a bedsheet pinned to the ceiling covering some sort of large skylight. For the price, don't expect anything more than a clean bed and you'll be happy.

How you see this place really depends on what you need. As far as amenities, it's terrible. The bed is small and uncomfortable, the bathroom is poorly designed, and we didn't receive any shampoo or conditioner, just soap. On the other hand, the staff/owners are nice, the breakfast is adequate, the location is great (Close to Paddington station), and it's inexpensive for London. Your choice.

Exactly what I needed: a cheap, clean, secure hotel with breakfast in a great location. Tiny bathroom, but everything worked just fine and the owners were really lovely people. I would definitely stay there again.

Negative: Room 9 is running away AND breakfast is not tiptop if you think you have croissants or a range of jams. It's more a salty breakfast: fried eggs / knackis / sausages ... There are only 6 slices of bread that you will be grilled and 2 small pots with strawberry jam in the one and marmalade in the other and butter in 1 plate. However, I recommend this hotel for the people who work there and for the location and the price in relation to the location. (Original) Les gens qui y travaillent sont d'1 extrême gentillesse,ils vous ouvriront la porte même à 1h30-2h00 du matin et l'hôtel est mimi . De plus,il est très bien situer par rapport aux lieux de visites : PADDINGTON (le quartier) > BAKER STREET (où il y a madame Tussaud ou le musée Sherlock HOLMES par exemple) se fait en moins d'1h00 à pied ce qui vous fera économiser le métro car TOUT est cher à londres mais le métro est vraiment cher à force . Négatif : La chambre 9 est à fuir ET le petit-déjeuner n'est pas tiptop si vous pensiez avoir des croissants ou un éventail de confitures 😔 . C'est plus un petit-déjeuner salé : œufs au plat / knackis / saucisses... Il n'y a que 6 tranches de pain que l'on vous fera griller et 2 petits pots avec de la confiture de fraise dans l'un et de la marmelade dans l'autre et du beurre dans 1 assiette . Je vous conseille malgré tout cet hôtel pour les gens qui y travaillent ET pour l'emplacement ainsi que le prix par rapport à l'emplacement justement .

The breakfast is very basic but acceptable for a couple of days since the third is very monotonous since there is hardly any choice. A 5 minutos de la estación de metro de Paddinton. En la zona hay restaurantes, burgues y supermercados.
