D.Stayed here for my birthday weekend - the one bedroom apartment is a bit smaller than advertised and please note the bedroom doesn't have a door so if you have anyone sleeping on the sofa bed you will be able to hear them. If you would like a peaceful sleep request an apartment facing away from the train tracks as they are very noisy. The bed was very comfortable and the place was very clean. Only downside is the £200 deposit which wasn't expected and you have to pay an extra £20 to park your car in their car park (ridiculous!) so a lot of added costs
W. K.I visited my friend who is staying there for a week. He stays in an apartment which has a bedroom, living area with kitchen and spacious bathroom with bath. The apartment was on the ground floor, therefore it had access to a back garden. I am a smoker and thought that's very convenient because I could just go quickly outside and have a cigarette instead of leaving the entire building. In good weather you can just keep the sliding doors open or sit outside.You have there everything you need, including hair dryer, iron with ironing board,and even cleaning supplies.
It's situated a bit on the back road, but very short walk to the bus stops and the tube. Very good location although not on the main street. I would say much better than renting just a small hotel room. Worth to check the prices here before you book any other hotel in this area.

j. c.Just had two nights here. The apartment was very convenient and close to the Westfield shopping centre and the Olympic Park. Good and quick access to central London. Secure parking. The staff were brilliant - really helpful, friendly and willing to assist in any way that they could.
Would have had 5 stars had the room been cleaned to a higher standard.

A. N. V.The accomodations themselves are quite decent, the queen sized bed is in fact two singles pushed together. It's also quite loud at all hours, since the building overlooks the train tracks at the station, which runs the central line and therefore has the night tube speeding through. The kitchen is nicely equipped, with minimal cooking equipment, a dishwasher and a washing machine.
It's quite decent for its price.
b. s.It's was an alright experience. Stayed with a friend for the weekend. The apartments have everything you need but are not sound proof. An ideal place to crash if you have a busy weekend of parties/going out out. I would recommend getting 2 nights if you're not a "checkout at 10.30 after a big night" kind of person.
m. a. h. o. h.Booked an apartment for six people. sofa bed was uncomfortable, when it was mentioned at front desk , an extra duvet was given by staff to place on mattress. Apart from that our stay was great! The apartment was immaculately clean and staff were accommodating. Three of us had arrived with a toddler (who was tired and in need of a nappy change)before the cardholders arrival. The lady at the front desk was kind enough to give us the room key. Have used marlin before and will use again.

Cleaning happens once per week again standard but not up to the mark. Located in prime area, accessibility to tube/metro train,shopping centre, movie etc.. are not bad.
T. M.Excepting the area(railway, site constructions etc) everything else is great. We found the apartment to be spacious and well catered for us. The apartments were very near the building works for the olympic arena and a diversion was in place to get to the hotel. Walking distance from Westfield.

Appartements are spacious for the budget, slightly outdated and in need of some uplifting but reasonable priced and as I said nicely situated. If you need to stay a longer time in London of have to stay with the family this is the right place.

And the property will only give you one fan. When you open the windows a million bugs come in, nice location to stay in the winter definitely not the summer, the apartment is only cleaned every 7 days so in the mean time you have to clean everything yourself

The car parking was extra per night and it was quite expensive. Close to both Strat ford station and mary land station was a plus.

t. c.Stayed for a week in July 2017, two bedroom apt on 1st floor - location is excellent for transport links- very short walk to tube and station/ also very close to Stansted drop off point (3 min walk)
Apts are right beside the mainline train - so regular train noise ( you get used to it rapidly) but means if its warm and windows are open its v noisy. No aircon - a prob as the apts are very hot in summer . Pedestrian entrace via a secure gate beside the pub on Angel Lane. Only basic TV, anything extra costs more. Beds comfortable, showers good, bathrooms unventilated so v hot also. Desk staff good ( we had v little interaction with them to be honest) Left luggage was good on our departure day. Apt was not serviced while we were there, not a prob for us but might be for some. ( emptying bins would have been good, and extra toiletries)
Dishwasher was good, dryer less so. large fridge freezer, good kitchen , well equipped. extra storage in hallway inside apt door ( as second bedroom is small - box room really, but fine. Ensuite bedroom was slightly larger. Overall, great location - 3 min walk from tube, central and jubilee line DLR. Westfield sopping centre ( vast) nearby, as is the olympic park. Handy morrisons in centre of ( old) Stratford nearby also. Also V close to Maryland mainline station.
T. M.A very good value if you are able to take advantage of Marlin's sale. We were lucky to have an apartment at the rear away from railway so we were not affected by the noise. I've a feeling I was given the last room available as this not how I usually find Marlin Stratford.

All of the staff that we met were extremely friendly and helpful. Would visit again but maybe alone this time for business perhaps.
T. M.The floor of the apartment was filthy. The receptionist on shift, needs training in people skills and hospitality. We tried to report all of these faults to a lady on reception who cut us off and told us not to worry because they already had a list of things which were wrong with the apartments. Its a short distance ***** the street.
v. l.These apartments do what they are supposed to do on a budget. They have a very good sized living area with kitchen plus a bedroom & full bathroom. Very clean. The situation is not bad it is right near the big Ben and Houses of Parliament. There are no good restaurants in the vicinity, no great places to have a good breakfast and no places to shop so if that is what you were looking for these apartments are not for you. You’ll end up spending a fortune on taxis. Overall OK.
T. M.The place is well located for the Olympics area and for Stratford in general. Minutes by train into Liverpool Street is the quickest route. Its an excellent choice for anyone working / visiting the Olympic Park development and I would imagine it will get busier and busier the nearer we get to.
M. B.You won't get a fully equipped kitchen, there was no blender, no big pots etc. Otherwise apartment was very clean, bathroom was clean, staff was friendly.
D. H.These apartments are in a great position for commuting and shopping. All apartments appear to have a problem with temperature. As in they are all unconditionally hot. The staff are also generally helpful.

T. M.There is little positive to say about this accommodation unfortunately. I asked to be placed on rhe quiet side of the building and I didn't hear anything. I am sure they will soon realise that some of the things that look reasonable on paper are not sufficient in practice for the price that they are charging.

K.I wish I cud hav my own studio apartment like dis.It's cozy room,a perfect window just beside my bed whr I get up n see the train goes by.I was lil disturbed by da fact dat it's floor make such awkward noise. But I miss da kitchen badly.And the worst part I encountered only was the loo, it had no good ventilation and probably it became exhausting at times by the bad odour.
